I ordered pizza from there and was very disappointed. I have made better pizzas at home. It was so under garnished, I think there were like a few pepperonis. I was trying to figure out what all the fuss was about because I will never get pizza from there again. I was expecting so much more since its supposed to be authentic italian....I guess not.

Decided to try something new but was totally disappointed by the eggplant parm sub. The sub fell apart quickly and there wasn't enough sauce. Pizza was still good though.

Our new go to carry out pizza place. Love their thin but chewy crust. My favorite is the Pizza Bianca because it seems like a healthier option with the broccoli and tomatoes :) I am usually not a fan of pizzas with tomato sauce, but the tomato sauce here is really good! Can't go wrong with the plain pepperoni pizza either. We have also ordered their party platters from here for a house party we had. We ordered the ravioli bolognese, which came with SO MUCH food... we were not anticipating it to come with salad and bread as well. The service is quick - usually we can pick up our pizza within 10-15 minutes of calling in and it is always ready. The weirdest pizza I had was the Pizza del Piscatore - there was minimal shrimp and the calamari had a pretty fishy taste, which is expected. It wasn't bad, just not my cup of tea.

I always loved our local Tutti Gusti while at JMU and I was shocked to find there was one right up the street from me here in Baltimore! I don't think I've had a buffalo chicken pizza since college but between that and their bbq chicken pizza I just couldn't resist. The crust was crispy the chicken was fresh and the sauces they used hit. the. spot. I also got a garden side salad and it was pretty big! I will have to update this post the next time I go back because their specials looked phenom. Veggie Lasagna, Pesto Salmon, and some sort of mama's spaghetti kept catching my eye. Depending on how late they're open I'll definitely be stopping back by any time I decide to go out in Canton.

This place is quite mediocre and I'm not sure why it has such great reviews. We got takeout twice from here and although the garlic bread with cheese was good, the pizza and pasta were just ok. Nothing too special. Not sure I'd order from here again especially because they take almost an hour to get the food to you.

The subs are fantastic. Stuffed to the brim in a freshly baked sub roll. The pizza is fresh and super authentic. I've never had an entree but if I could tear myself away from the subs I'm sure I wouldn't be disappointed. And of course the staff are really sweet.

Every time we order from Tutti Gusti, we're always pleasantly surprised by the quick and pleasant service. There is no awkward waiting in a tiny, crowded corner by a counter on wheels that moves when I lean against it. There is a huge space to wait. We also like their pizza especially their specialty pies. It reminds of the pizza we had while in Naples, Italy which was delicious!

Tutti Gusti is a great neighborhood pizza place. We can always count on for great take out prepared quickly. The staff are friendly and the prepare the best 'everyday' pie in Baltimore. Highly recommend the ham pinwheels, Meatball sub, pizza Genoese, and any saltimbocca.

Tutti Gusti is not just another pizza joint. This little neighborhood corner bistro is licensed for beer and wine, they sell domestic and imported beers. Yesterday was the second time I've eaten here. The first time I met with clients here and we at dinner. The eggplant parmesan is fabulous, among the best I've had and it was big enough for two (I ate the other half the following day). The bread is home made and fresh daily and delicious. This time I had a chicken parmesan sub and shared an order of fries with my partner who had a meatball sub. The meatballs were freshly made, the bread was fresh and had a nice crisp crust and was not at all doughy inside and it was delicious and the fries were crisp and fresh. I don't really like french fries that much, but these were really good - nice and crisp and not at all soggy or greasy. And, you can get pizza too. Their pizzas are made fresh to order and include the usual but their gourmet pizzas, like Pizza Del Pescatore with shrimp, squid, tomatoes and mozzarella and Pizza Campagnola with fresh tomatoes, roasted eggplant, mushrooms, roasted red pepers, artichoke hearts and mozzarella cheese look really good. They also carry the usual cheese pizza, and their own Pizza Tutti Gusti with pepperoni, mushrooms, sausage, onions, green peppers and anchovies in the 14" and 16" size or by the slice. Didn't even want to give them one star, but I guess I had to. I ordered the margarita pizza, french fries and a greek salad. The margarita pizza was floppy dough with tomato sauce on top and a few blotches of cheese. The french fries were soggy. The greek salad was an extremely poor attempt. They should probably take it off the menu. The delivery time was pretty good though, so I guess one star is OK. Will NOT be ordering from this place again.

Pizza's good, subs are good, sides are good. Always get take-out/delivery and they have never been late on their delivery time. Can't complain for a pizza shop in the city!

Just moved to Fell's Point from the Philly area. Tutti Gusti is hands down the best pizza place I've found in this area. Pizza has my ideal cheese to sauce ratio and the perfect amount of greasy. Their prices are very reasonable for the area and only a $10 minimum delivery order. The staff has always been really friendly when I've called for delivery and the delivery has been pretty quick for a weeknight. Tutti Gusti will be my go-to place for pizza.

Tutti's is a nice neighborhood Italian place. If you get food delivered, it arrives fairly quickly. I like that they have a credit card machine they bring to your door so you don't have to give them that information over the phone. Their sauce is super tasty. I usually get extra on the side no matter what I order. They have great specialty pizzas too and if you don't want to buy a whole pizza, you can buy pizza by the slice that they already have prepared. The taco pizza is great! If you aren't in the pizza mood, the chicken parm entree is one of the best I've had. It's huge and can easily be made into 2-3 meals.

The pizza is legit. I especially like the thick crust square , and the Campagnola. The garlic cheese bread is bad bad bad. Super generic with tons of red pepper flakes for some reason? Delivery is decent on timing.

Worst delivery service ever! Completely rude

Used to order delivery from here and usually got pizza...more recently though we've gotten a way undercooked pizza and another incident with an extremely long wait time. We've been quite disappointed with their recent service...

They took my delivery order 15 mins before close - pretty awesome! The pizza is good, not great. Baltimore's just not my kind of pizza city. The veggie pizza is good, packed with roasted veggies and cheese (a bit dry, though that may be because I love sauce on pizza). The salads can be skipped - it's never worth paying salad prices for iceberg lettuce. The pastas are good but not too different than pasta you can make at home. Fast delivery, nice people that take your orders over the phone, consistent quality and the food is good (though nothing amazing).

Never get the garlic bread. Didn't realize I asked for a piece of provolone unmelted over a piece of un toasted bread. This place is one to stay away from

I used to live in Towson where Pasta Mista was the pizza du jour. This is definitely as close as it gets, and I'm so glad Tutti Gusti is right around the corner from my apartment. I've been here twice now, but my boyfriend frequents the place for lunch all the time. Ordering pizze by the slice, specialty pizza, is like being a giant kid in a candy store. It takes me like five minutes to figure out what I want because it all looks so delicious. But you can watch the guys making pizza while you order and wait too, and they are all pretty friendly. First time, I ordered the blue crab ravioli special. YUM YUM YUM YUM! There was a ton of crab, the serving size was great, and the sauce was so creamy that i just wanted a straw (not really, but it was great). Last night, I ordered a slice of spaghetti stuffed pizza becuase who can say no to that? And a slice of the taco salad pizza. Don't forget to order some of the little ham or spinach rolls, only 75 cents a piece! Ordered to go, put a little sriracha on everything when I got home, and everything was delicious! My boyfriend ordered the buffalo chicken pizza, sauce was the BOMB! And he ordered the sausage stromboli which was also delicious. I only give four stars because some things could use a little more seasoning. Prices here are pretty great. My stuffed slice was like $3.75, so with two ham rolls and the taco salad slice, I walked out at about $9. Definitely worth checking out Tutti Gusti!

I used to live in Canton across the street from this place and I miss it so much. This is probably one of the best pizza places in Canton. It's up there with Pasta Mista. Their chicken dishes are so fresh too. You can really taste the high quality chicken. This place is off the square like hidden in a neighborhood, so you may miss it.

Great customer service and I haven't had anything there that I didn't like. Pizza is great but I would have to say my favorite thing to get from there is the chicken parm.

We ordered this pizza Friday night. The delivery was fast and the driver was very nice. I must say that the pizza was less than stellar. We got a large think crust and on of the 14' thick crust square pizzas. The sauce was bland, the bread on the deep dish was kind of dry and the bread to sauce/ratio was poor. I won't be ordering from here again. They got 2 stars for speed and polite staff.

Great Pizza, quick delivery and delicious Greek salad. I have gotten entrees and pizza and both were amazing. Go to spot for me for a fast dinner

I ate there during dinner, and man was I impressed at how much food they give you. I had their seafood linguini, and usually other restaurant will give you more pasta and skimp on the seafood items. But not this place. Their pizza's are always filled with toppings, their pasta dishes are filled with sauce, and their service was awesome (They take care of you).

  • Cory C.

I always order delivery so I cannot speak on the restaurant, but this is probably the most consistent and best Pizzeria in the area. Their sicilia pizza is my favorite in the city and their other items have all been quiet good especially their breaded subs/cheesesteaks.

Got a basic pepperoni pizza, and it was damn good. Not greasy, fresh tasting sauce (not canned). A great pie AND they deliver.

I have always loved this restaurant, ate pizza, subs, or pasta by delivery at least twice a month when I lived in Canton. Always raved about it. Then, today, ordered delivery from work. A co-worker peeled back his foil wrapper on the grilled chicken sub, to find a dead brown bug, appeared to be a roach. Will not be ordering from here again, and I'm very disappointed to say so.

Great customer service AND legit NY Style Pizza. I am not sure why it is so hard to find good pizza in this city so we are SO happy that we found a tasty spot! I high recommend it. The sauce it just right, cheese ratio is good and the crust is on point.

It was late the street was quiet..but you still opened your arms again.. I know, I have been a negligent lover. Recollecting the last few times we met from the heat of your oven and the passion of your sweet perfectly portioned sauce my lips met yours in a tangled emotion of lust, desire and disbelief. How could something so pleasing and wonderful escape me for so long again? Your eggplant slices and fresh mushrooms on a crust that left me satisfied yet wanting more, a taste of more, because a slice isn't enough of you. I had to have your rolls of ham pulsing with fresh provolone cheese and delicate dough, every bite of you warm and inviting. The fresh spinach rolls with mozzarella and the same decadent dough were equally intoxicating as I raised them to my hungry mouth. You offer so much, and I want to try all of you, but another time.. Satisfied with maximum taste bud climaxes I stumbled out of your cozy den of seduction into the night onto the city streets that are so familiar... I'll see you soon Tuti Gusti... Great Pizza, ham and spinach rolls too... what did you think I was talking about?

Best chicken cheese steak in baltimore!! Great pizza as well. Everything is always ready in 20 minutes and the people are always friendly.

I have yet to try anything here but the pizza but it is fantastic! My favorite thing is to come here on a Friday after work and get a slice or two to go. They have a mix of options and always fresh ingredients. Definitely my favorite pizza place in canton, maybe even baltimore

Its kind of a 2.5 Stars. Went there on a Sunday around 4. Completely empty dining room.. About 6 employees working, and the boss. Dining room was filthy. We had to wipe down our own table. None of them were wiped down! We got mozzarella sticks as an app. They were typical. Ordered a Margherita and a Chicken pie. They were okay. Cooked well. But nothing to write home about. They have a small condiment table right next to the drink station, and that too was filthy. Empty straw wrappers. Dirty cups, and crumbs everywhere. First and last time visiting. For the $45 we spent could have went anywhere to get Pizza!!

Why is it hard to find a good pie in this city? Is Tutti Gusti a secret that is closely guarded by the cops that I see in the place every night? Are the these cops making sure no throngs of teens invade their sanctuary? Sure the interior is kind of dingy with fluorescent lighting and wooden long tables that need to be perpetually wiped down. But what it lacks in style, it makes up for in a very good pizza. To me, the key to a good pizza is the crust. The crust here is not too thin, not to thick, and perfectly chewy. It is also baked in an oven sans pan, Italian style. As for toppings, I normally keep it simple, although my friends swear by all the fancy combos that appear on the menu. The pasta dishes are decent, they make a good bologanese. The cops seem to enjoy the subs although I have yet to try one yet.

  • Rebecca L.

I normally don't like thinner crust pizza, but the guys at Tutti Gusti do it right. When the Crab Ravioli is on the special menu, it's a must.

  • Joyce K.

Maybe it was an off-night, but the pie I got here had too much bland tomato sauce on it, stringy cheese on top. Nothing to write home about. It was a shame, as I was brought there on a date, with promise of the best pizza in the neighborhood. I wouldn't be against trying it again, but nothing to write home about thusfar.

Oh how it pains me to give such a low rating! We were so excited to discover this place a few years ago but we feel there's been a steady decline in the quality of the food. This week was the last straw - everything we ordered was bland and lacking freshness. Too many frozen ingredients! I suppose the pizza is ok in a pinch - it remains one of the better delivery options (until Pasticcio starts delivering pizza), and they offer whole wheat crust and whole wheat pasta - but we know they can do better!

3.5 stars. Not having been to many pizza places in Baltimore (as Iggie's and Kyro's Pizza easily suffice when it comes to my pizza craving), I was willing to give Tutti Gusti a try since my friend wanted to try it as well. A little restaurant on the corner of a residential area, Tutti Gusti seems charming. Greeted by a friendly staff (possibly owner), I was feeling pretty good about this place. We ordered a Pizza Tutti Gusti, which had everything, and by everything, I mean EVERYTHING: pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, anchovies, capers, and more that I can't remember. Hmmm, not sure if all that is necessary?!? I think the anchovies and capers might have overpowered the other toppings. We also got a Greek Salad, and for the price we paid for it, I expected more. It was mostly lettuce and couple pieces of olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, and feta cheese. The salad wasn't that good to me. I guess if I live near there, then I would give this place another try. But being spoiled with the pizzas in Mt. Vernon, I'm happy staying around my neighborhood for my pizza fix.

My food came over an hour late, cold, and also incomplete. The pizza needed to be re-heated, the fries were cold and disgusting, the drinks i ordered never came. I called and was offered a free order the next time I placed one. When i did call, a week later, I was denied my free order and treated with disrespect. I had ordered here regularly for nearly two years. Anyone know any GOOD pizza joints?

    (1)
  • Alyson P.

Tutti Gusti isn't your average pizza joint. They serve a wide range of pasta, pizzas, beer/wine, etc. Their food is always fresh, large portions and very tasty. Service is very fast too! I live just a 2 blocks away...I call in my order grab my shoes and head down and my food is ready. They also know me by name:) The pizzas are absolutely amazing as is the ravioli. I usually order a large cheese with bacon and pepperoni (keeping it healthy ya know) and they serve up lots of toppings for a great price! I easily get 3 meals outta a large! I keep hearing wonderful things about the meatball sub so that will be my next venture this weekend maybe. I also love their salads! Fresh greens, ripe tomatoes, and very large portions! A great amount of cheese too on the Greek (too many places skimp on the feta).

  • Christina H.

I've been eating at Tutti Gusti since I was a child. Their pizza is really good 9/10 times. Once in a great while it'll be eh. They have great cheese steak subs, that have a lot of meat in them! Their stuffed shells are always delicious and filling!

Love that you can order Whole Wheat Crust on their Pizzas and Whole Wheat pasta in their pasta dishes. We've ordered from Tutti Gusti numerous times and its always been great!

I finally sampled another pizza heaven spot in Baltimore last weekend. I'll admit there aren't very many truly good pizza locations in this town. Iggies, Egyptian, Matthews....and that's all I got. Well add Tutti Gusti to the club. Ordered a simple 'zza for dinner. Pepperoni, green pepper, olive and onion: a classic American standard. Checked the phone to see the call history to check how long it was since we ordered. Couldn't get to the history because the phone was ringing. Hot 'zza waiting downstairs for us. Marvelous. Now upon inspection this 'zza looked run of the mill. Nothing outstanding visually. Wait for it....wait for it...Bam! Flavor on top of flavor! Wow! I was told that this place is good and now I know. I wouldn't judge this place as anything spectacular by their location or store front or even by the look of the 'zza but just wait. Reserve judgment for when you have an entire slice stuffed down your gullet. When the 'zza was gone I was half tempted to eat the box too. If we had more to spare I would have spread it out on the floor and rolled in it.

Really good carry out pizza! I'm from New Jersey originally so I'm pretty critical of pizza. Tutti Gusti is the closest thing to NJ/NY style pie that I've had in three years of living in Baltimore! The pies are large - 16 in is really quite a bit bigger and the sausage is NJ/NY style - not that crumbled stuff from Domino's. Definitely worth checking out - especially if you live in Canton because they deliver!

    (4)
  • Justin M.

honestly, i haven't been too impressed with the entrees here. the subs are par to slightly above par. the pizza, however, is kind of a sleeper...they make a good pie.

    (3)

Great Pizza. I've never been to the actual location, but delivery is always speedy and the pizza shows up hot. It's my go to spot when I'm feeling drunk/lazy.

  • Rich P.

Another very NYC style Pizzeria, this place also offers a large dining room with partial table service (i.e., you order at the counter but they bring it out to your table and the soft drinks are self serve), several wines, a few beers and offers delivery (usually... I've called before and they werent delivering for some reason). Great NYC style pizza, avail by the slice, VERY friendly staff and fair prices. One odd gripe... please put the paper towel dispenser IN the mens bathroom instead of the hallway outside of it LOL. Thats all. I really like this place :)

Went here last night for dinner. I've been looking for a normal Italian restaurant. i want pasta, pizza and subs of pretty good quality in a pretty large quantity for a reasonable price. I live within a block of Baltimore's Little Italy and there is not much like this there. After my one visit, I have to think that Tutti Gusti was a pretty good selection and met most of my criteria. It isn't gourmet dining, but it is good tasting, filling food. I brought food home and I never do that. I'm going to have a good leftover lunch, and I'm not a delicate eater. Really, a pasta meal shouldn't be an expensive night out. C'mon, Little Italy $20 for spaghetti and pay extra for bread and a meatball, when I can go to Tutti Gusti and get a huge hot serving of sausage and peppers over spaghetti that tastes like grandma made it for $9.95? $7.95 for an antipasto platter that easily serves two and has some interesting stuff in it like prosciutto, mozzarella, and marinated mushrooms, is not a bad deal. And, of course, Perroni beer for $3.25 a bottle. They have wine for sale by the glass and bottle too. Yea, it isn't high class dining, it doesn't draw the tourists like Little Italy, and it doesn't have the prices or the long waits. I agree with some of the comments on the dining room. It could use some more attention during the night and detail to cleaning, but it isn't so bad that it would keep me away. The food prep area was clean. The men's room was also very clean in comparison to even some of the better places in Baltimore. I check those things out. It's a little compulsive but I think it means a lot, at least to me. Check it out. They also deliver.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
