I think the people working here probably laughed at me when I tried to call in a reservation haha. We were landing in BWI for business on Valentines Day so we couldn't find a single place to stop and get some food. I saw this place on my maps and assumed it was some kind of small restaurant so I called ahead to see if I needed a reservation. The person on the other end of the line sounded amused and assured me we did not. When we got there, my sister and I just laughed because we had basically called the equivalent of a fast food/sandwich shop-type place and asked if we needed a res. Anyways, not putting down the place at all by saying it is like fast food - it was really really good. I got a chicken caesar wrap and it was delicious. My sister got some type of pasta that she said was good. The place was very clean (even the bathroom) and the servers were really polite. They had a large selection of food and dessert - we left with some kind of lemon angel food cake that I really enjoyed (my sister was looking for something more tangy.) For the price and for our particular situation it was perfect. I wouldn't mind stopping back by sometime if I'm landing there again.

Three Bros. pizza was never my favorite pizza, but I'm damned picky about pizza, and do get it sometimes. It's always consistent and better than most pizza places. I usually get a calzone or the baked ziti or eggplant rollettes (with bread and salad; the house dressing is great, BTW). I grew up near the original owners' restaurants (the first in Greenbelt, then one of the brothers opened up in Hyattsville on Kenilworth Ave.), and this location and the other Three Brothers restaurants are operated by franchisees... so I hate to say it, but the kitchen at this place consistently does at least as well as the original locations, if not better! Forget for a few moments that you're in a retail/industrial strip on Wash. Blvd. and enjoy a nice casual lunch or dinner (or get it to go).

Situated in a strip mall with a big 'ole Walmart, Office Depot and Petsmart in it; and with competition from the likes of Chik-fil-A and Quizno's, one would think that this baby right hurr would dominate. It's an Italian restaurant, after all. Restaurant. Not fast food joint. But you know what? It was just okay. It wasn't bad or atrocious--just okay. Granted, I did not have pizza. I mean, c'mon, eating pizza at an eye-talian restaurant makes way too much sense and logic is just not my style. (By the way, $1.00 pizza from 2-5pm weekdays. Pretty sweet, for the nearby UMBC college kids.) So, I ordered a cheese steak. Lil' sis' had some kind of wrap thingie. Both were fine. I finished my sandwich, at least. Now I barely remember it. And that's that. I'm moving on with my life. Thanks.

Three Brothers has a nice casual environment with fast service and hot food. I like their Italian Boat, which is sausage, peppers and onions in dough. They also have a delicious side salad with their special house dressing. It's like no other salad in the area. Good food at reasonable prices, 3 Bros is a great place to eat in or call ahead and pick up.

I've never had a bad meal at Three Brothers. From pizza, to subs, salads, pasta, cheese fries and calzones; it's all delicious! The dining area is spacious with both, booth and table seating. Two separate dining rooms have a TV on, usually a sporting event. They also usually play great 80's music. The restaurant is usually very clean. The front counter/waiting staff are patient and very friendly. Usually, the cashier will be the server as well. There is a fountain drink station in the dining area so you can refill at your leisure. After dinner, just leave your plates, they will come collect them. Super nice staff, delicious food and a clean restaurant.

Ordered the chicken fettucini Alfredo dinner as carry out. $15. Very disappointing. The salad was pretty much large hunks of lettuce with two slices of tomato. Not to mention, the salad in general had an odd taste to it. Very dry chicken in the fettucini and flavorless, actually there was NO flavor to anything. It was rather shocking how little flavor there was. I tried adding some seasoning but ended up throwing out the majority of it. The place was very clean and the fellow behind the counter was nice but it won't be enough to get me back in. Sorry.

One of the most unpleasant restaurant experiences ever. Keep in mind, I've been to this restaurant several times over the years since they opened. Good service, good food, never any problems...tonight was the last time I'll ever go there. Got to the counter, ordered my usual -- a tuna sandwich on wheat toast. "WE DON'T HAVE SANDWICHES". chirped the girl behind the counter. What? What kind of restaurant doesn't serve sandwiches? And how have I eaten this many times before? Okay, I'll order the tuna wrap, with hot peppers, mayo, and lettuce. "NO SORRY THAT'S FOR SUBS ONLY." Sooo.....I can't have any condiments on my tuna wrap? I should have left, and I would have left, but we were hungry. After 10 or so minutes, out comes my tuna wrap. In a stale tortilla they probably purchased from the Walmart a few doors down. The thing was so stale and hard I couldn't eat most of it -- and yes, chirpy annoying counter girl was right. There were no condiments at all on this hot mess of a tuna wrap, so it was dry as dirt. Nope, never going back. An utterly annoying dinner from start to finish. I'm just happy I don't ever have to hear that girl screeching HellOOOOOOOOO across the restaurant again. I'd rather stick forks in my eardrums.

The food was good, the crab soup had flavor and the meatball sub was plentiful! My only issue stemmed from when the cook came out of the kitchen and started walking up and down the COUNTERTOP cleaning the walls off with his apron. I'm sure the countertops were cleaned later but that's still nasty...

I love three brothers food but not this location. Every time we've been our order is never right. Also one time we got a cake from there and it was moldy. I would not recommend getting from this location.

Nicest restaurant around without a waiter. nice booths, TVs, friendly service, clean and updated. Its rare to find actually flavorful tomato sauce to dip calzones in, but I really like theirs. We have gone many times and I like it more every time. Its closest competition is Giannis Italian and they nickle a dime you for everything and very slow service.

We got their "big deal" to go, which was large pizza w/ wings & mozzarella sticks for $20. I asked for the wings well done & added pepperoni to the pizza, so the price added up just a bit more. The girl behind the counter was friendly and the only one handling the tables; since the tables were nearly empty, so it didn't seem to be a big burden for her. It wasn't a long wait for the food, and it was still nice & hot when we got home, so it was a matter of testing and tasting to see how we liked what we got. Meh. It was okay. The pizza oven could definitely be hotter; the pizza would have been better if the crust was crispy and the cheese maybe a little burned, but it was a soft crust, and the slices just kind of folded down as we picked them up. Flavor wise was okay, too. The mozzarella sticks were good, and the wings were okay.

I really have never been disappointed when ever I come here with my family. They have a special on Tuesdays, buy one large get a medium for a few bucks more (read under 5 bucks) It's been a while since I have been and nothing seems to have changed. Though they used to have a slice happy hour I guess it is no more. Oh Well. I think I will try and add this place back into our Friday Pizza night rotation more. Bottom line Yep I'd go back.

There's not much in the area, but I was there for work and needed a place for lunch. This place was very tasty, and the quality was much better than I expected. I would definitely go there again.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
