This is a great place to get a drink and enjoy yourself. With a selection of microbrews on tap as well as a full "beer wall", this proves to be a great change from the normal hotel bar. They have a great variety of crab items on the menu (all of which are fresh and tasty) I enjoyed the atmosphere on game days (lots of ravens as well as fans from the visiting team).... it is cheery and upbeat and the fan rivalry is all in the best of fun. I was also able to enjoy the buffet in the morning, which was delicious and featured a fresh "made to order" omelet bar. If you find yourself near the Marriott, or you end up staying at the property I highly suggest you stop in and try it out.

If you want a lesson in proper cooking times, don't come here (chicken breast sorely overcooked, sweet potatoes undercooked). "The driest chicken breast I ever ate was at The Yard in Baltimore." - Moo Twain Finished food because I was HUNGRY from traveling all day. Even extreme hunger did not paint this food in a warm rosy light. Come here for drinks. That's all.

Solid craft beer on tap. Good food. Good service. Not horrible prices. Lively bar.

I had mixed thoughts on the Yard house. To note we were there on the 28/29 of December. The bar at night was well tended. Mike was great and attentive. Awesome beer selection and free chips. Our breakfast was a bit slow but our server made sure we had some hot zucchini bread in the mean time and checked back often. When the food did arrive is was very good though the bacon had been left off my broken egg sandwich. It seemed they had more guests than help but again that could have been the holiday. The breakfast we did have was large and tasty! I would go back and try again, the help yourself bar not yet opened looked interesting.

This place sucks so much that I'm typing up this review as I sit in the restaurant. Waiter was very inattentive. Chicken wings were lukewarm. Our entrees were completely cold. The restaurant was empty so I have no idea why our food took so long to come out. This is a really bad dining experience.

Very nice hotel lobby restaurant and bar. We enjoyed a glass of wine and our dinners were exceptional. The service was very good and when our dinners were delayed, the supervisor came to our table to explain the delay. It was worth the wait, my roasted chicken was super. We were so glad we stayed in the hotel and enjoyed the evening without battling crowds at local "trendy" restaurants on a night when the Orioles were at Camden Yards playing the Red Soxes.

Great food and atmosphere. Located in Marriott Hotel. Great place to catch the game or news on one of the several TVs. Causal dining and great buffet style breakfast with omelet station.

Good atmosphere for Marriott hotel bar/restaurant. Food was mixed. Side salad was delicious as were the roasted cauliflower and radishes on my salmon entree. Unfortunately the "wild" salmon was the color and texture of Arctic char and the mustard glaze seemed to have a dredge of white sugar (which was most certainly not mentioned on the menu). Food prices were very reasonable. Wine not so much, $17/ glass for la crema....argh.

Tonight my boyfriend and I went into this restaurant after an evening out. It was close and the reviews seem soild. We walked in and waited a good 10 mins before anyone was there to greet us. Which was fine it was on the late side. We were seated and our waitress seemed very lackluster that we were even there. This I couldn't ignore seeing that I'm a server at a restaurant as well and if my management got any wind of this kind of behavior I would be out of a job. But I just brushed it off. Maybe she was having a long night. Anywho...our food was good nothing to crazy a crab pretzel,a burger, and a turkey burger. Mid way through the meal I see something move out of the corner of my eye under one of the chairs. I ask my boyfriend if he saw it too. Of course he didn't the first time. But the second time he sees something running across the the little dinning area we're seating in. It's a mouse. I lose my cool. I am so scared of them it took everything out of me not to freak out and embarrass my boyfriend. We tell the waitress who seemed unalarmed. She comes back and tells us don't worry about the bill it's on us. I was kind of disappointed in the fact that management didn't come over and excuse the situation. It was poorly done. We still tipped our waitress seeing that I don't believe in not tipping my waitress. But I was completely freaked out and annoyed.

Stayed at hotel across street, heard the food here was better. Enjoyed the lobby restaurant. Had the seafood pasta-it was good but $$. Tried the pickles 'snack' it was ok not worth ordering an entire bowl. Deviled eggs were interesting good. Believed it was made with a soft cheese filling.

This place is not awful. However, I came here after spending most of the evening up the street at Alewife enjoying fine food and even better beer. Coming here after such an experience is the equivalent of having two dates on one night: Early in the evening, you go out with George Clooney and later in the evening, you meet up with me. You get the point. We came here for a nightcap because it was in my friend's hotel. They didn't have the first beer we wanted to we had to get something else. We also wanted something sweet so we ordered a brownie sundae. The beer I had was okay...a local ale from Heavy Seas. The brownie sundae wasn't bad, although the brownie was unevenly heated. Service was friendly enough but it was tough to get the waiter's attention. Overall, this isn't horrible, but it's unlikely you'll have a life changing experience here. At least it's better than a punch in the face.

This is the "in-house" bar/restaurant for the Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards. As such, it really should be a lot better. Sure, it's nicely appointed. Lots of space. And super high prices that go with an upscale Marriott in downtown Baltimore. But the food and service leave a lot to be desired. I came in here to grab a bite to eat prior to a fairly large conference (about 300+ people) that was being held in one of the Marriott's conference rooms. You would think that since it's in a hotel that has conference rooms it would be ready for some large crowds. You would think that the hotel conference schedulers and the restaurants might communicate with each other. You would be wrong. The "sports bar and grille" (some TV's but it really doesn't lend itself to the name "sports bar") could barely keep up with the demand for reasonably quick, filling food. I actually sat at the bar (which was nearly empty at the time) so I could get the bartender to pay attention to me. No such luck. He was so busy directing traffic that I still had to wait. The food was so-so, at best. Oily grilled chicken and ordinary french fries served with a semi- fancy schmancy presentation. For example, the warm french fries were served in a tiny deep fryer basket. Cute, huh? I would have just as soon had them on my plate if they were hot and tasty. The bartender did ask if i wanted ketchup but totally neglected salt and pepper. Bottom line: this might be a nice place to meet a client or your boss or a buddy after work to throw a few back. Or, if you're a guest of the hotel, it might be OK to catch a bite, if you're not too picky. Otherwise, there are tons of other places within a couple of blocks that more than likely have better tasting food at cheaper prices and served with a smile. The two stars are for ambiance and decor. That's about it.

Expensive, even with 50% off coupon. Don't ever go without the coupon. Charged me $12 for a small glass of Moscato wine. Food is just ok. So many better and less expensive restaurants in area.

Ate breakfast here over the Eden West at the Holiday Inn where I was staying. A little more pricey then the Eden West, but only by a few dollars for the buffet. There was much better quality and variety offered here and the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere is also very unique.

Horrible service and bad food. Had two meals hoping the first was a fluke. I was wrong. Never again.

Totally decent hotel food & room service fare. In fact, better than most hotel options. Satisfied.

Went in for Baltimore Restaurant Week which was advertised on the site as their lunch being $15.13. Restaurant Week menu is actually $20.13. Fine, I understand you can change the menu, etc. Also, the number posted on the website was wrong, two numbers were switched and I accidentally got some poor guy named Steve. We ordered drinks and I asked for sugar for my iced tea. She walked by about 10 minutes later and I flagged down our waitress to bring me sugar. The meal is two courses. After we're there for 40 minutes, our first course finally comes out. The first course was gazpacho and corn chowder, which I know is already made in the kitchen. Why did it take this long??? Food is OK but not great. 5 minutes later our 2nd course comes out, and of course nobody is done with the first course yet, so this sits and takes up room on the table while the 2nd course is getting cold. Have to flag down the waitress every time we want something because she's not really paying attention to our table. Lunch takes an hour and a half for a prix fixe menu.... seriously? Also the menu online said we would get a key lime creme puff, which we did not. $50 for two people for this experience is so not worth it. Will not visit again.
