don't leave without getting a fresh squeezed greyhound. this was my crew's favorite neighborhood haunt. it doesn't hurt that the food is top notch, the bartenders are friendly and drinks are cheap. and who doesn't love a game of shuffleboard?!?!!! not gonna lie, it was a kind of inclusive club for the brewers hill mob, but, hey... i was part of it so i can't complain. dang i want a greyhound, right now!

Super charming local bar. They owner, Shannon, is always there and is so warm and friendly. They serve up surprisingly good food, including my personal favorite, the cashew burger. This is the kind of bar that makes you feel at home. Highly recommended!!

My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to get burgers and wings. We found the Laughing Pint on Yelp and decided to give it a try. We were very pleased overall. While we didn't end up playing, the bar has a ping-pong table that a few guys were playing at when we walked in. The bartender was extremely friendly and very helpful when explaining a few changes to the menu and the drink specials. My boyfriend ended up ordering The French Revolution burger. I took a bite of it and it had a good-sized patty and a great flavor of bourbon in the sauce. I ordered buffalo wings -- let me tell you, they were the healthiest sized wings I have gotten in a while. Sometimes bars/restaurants make their buffalo sauce a bit too spicy for my taste, but this buffalo sauce was just perfect. Not too spicy, but not bland either. Their bleu cheese dipping sauce was also homemade and really delicious. The drink specials were pretty good. $5 margaritas with a healthy serving of alcohol and we each ordered a different $5 mixed drink: I got a fresh greyhound (freshly squeezed grapefruit juice that our bartender did right there and vodka) and my boyfriend got a homemade vodka lemonade (once, again with the freshly squeezed lemon juice). All our drink were refreshing and tasty. We will definitely be coming back.

The Pint is a welcoming neighborhood bar/restaurant with some terrific qualities. First off, no TV! This is a conscious choice by the owner and to me a great one to not be inundated by the tube, as we spend our time staring at screens of one sort or another all the time anyway. Non tube distractions include a pool table and great old long maple shuffleboard table. They serve fresh greyhounds and some of the best wings ever. Try it out for a quieter corner bar experience!

Stopped by here for a quick dinner with the hubby based on the yelp reviews. So glad we made the decision to stop in here. I'll start off with the fact that his is a quaint little neighborhood bar. The bartender, Monica, is wonderful...she knows her stuff, friendly, and made us feel more than welcome. My husband ordered the Pear Bourbon wings - which he didn't even finish it was such a healthy portion. I ordered the Open Sesame Burger. and OMG!!! Ordered rare and cooked perfectly!!! It was honestly the best burger I had had in years! My husband had his first Natty Boh and Palm. I stuck with my rum and coke. We happened to go on a Monday night which is their Trivia night. As the friendly crowd rolled in, Monica introduced us to everyone! Even got us to stay and join in ...we were awful, but had a wonderful time!!!! We will definitely be back not only for the amazing food? But for the wonderful service and friendly environment!

In scouting out new spots for my friend and I to "HH" yesterday, I drove down to Laughing Pint on my lunch break to check out the scene and make sure the atmosphere was inviting. When I walked in, there was a woman who greeted me from behind the bar and stated they just opened. I thought to myself maybe they should close. I love a hole in the wall just as much as the next person but I need that hole to not smell like I walked into the home of an elderly recluse that has several kitty litter boxes somewhere in the house that surely must have days old poop in them. I actually had to ride back to work with my windows down to get the scent off me and I was only in there for all of 3 minutes! Such a shame too since the drink selections look awesome, owner seemed welcoming, and menu looks vegan friendly but after looking around in this place, I realized I wasn't as adventurous as I thought I was.

So glad we finally tried this place out! First of all, it's really refreshing to be at a bar without a TV. The bartender Shannon was very friendly and made us feel welcome! And pool for 50 cents a game is awesome. Looking forward to coming here often!

There is nothing to not like about this bar. It fits the bill of a casual dive. When you're in it you feel like you might be in a boat. Porthole-like windows, blue-painted wood paneling, orange corduroy clothed bar stools. Boat bars are the best, if you ask me. The drink options were plentiful - lots of beers on tap. And each draught was poured in the manufacturers suggested glass - which made me feel kinda special. Black beer on tap? In a giant goblet that makes me feel like the queen of the bar-boat? Yes, please. The food was splendid and very vegetarian friendly - although not so much so that my meat-eating friends were displeased. I had the cashew burger, which was oozing with all kinds of umami-ness. Ginger sesame pasta salad on the side and chipotle spiced pickle spear was a nice extra touch. My compadres all ordered real (as in beef) burgers, and all were pleased. One was called the Open Sesame, and was smeared with peanut butter. So intriguing, in a good way - a quality I like in my bar food. And lastly, entertainment. We helped ourselves to a few rounds of shuffleboard, including a memorable boys-versus-girls round in which the ladies dominated. All credit goes to the magical powers granted to us by that draught black beer. Obviously. Next time - the NSYNC board game. We'll let the boys win that one. Maybe.

Went for a friend's birthday on Saturday night at 7 and it was waaaay too crowded. Apparently, there's an art show the first Saturday of every month. But we found a place to sit and order drinks with the 1 bartender that was serving over 30-40 people in this tiny bar, so as you can imagine, service wasn't the highlight. At one point she came to our table, asked if we wanted more drinks, so we ordered and then proceeded to forget about our drinks. When we went up to ask, she apologized and said she's the only one there so couldn't help it. Not top notch to say the least. But, the burger was quite rare, just like my husband likes it and tasty. The eggplant gyro was also good. The margaritas may be too sweet for some tastes but good regardless. The menu could use some fish options. We had a nice night but could have been better with faster service!

I have been here several times as I have a few friends who live in the Highlandtown area. To some it may look like it's going to be a classless, corner dive bar- but looks can be deceiving. Their food is delicious and they always have really good food specials as well. Specifically, their peanut butter burger has received nothing but rave reviews. The bartenders are always attentive, friendly and helpful- especially Sharon is particularly beloved among my friends. Great food - check. Great drinks - check. Great service - check. What more could you want, right? Games. Not just pool and shuffleboard, but board games as well. Maybe I'm alone here, but I am of the opinion that board games make everything better. Train rides, family gatherings, meetings, dates, babysitting- and especially sharing a cold one with good friends.

Having moved to Highlandtown recently, I'm quickly finding this to be my local "home bar." It excels for what it it, which is an exceedingly friendly, comfortable place with a decent beer selection and a menu that is understandably compact. However, that menu offers some very pleasant surprises! When's the last time YOU had a cashew burger or a burger with peanut butter and sesame garlic sauce?! Open sesame!!! The draught beer choices are also surprising, with some offerings you'd be hard pressed to find any place that doesn't have the name "Max's." I am, however, hoping an IPA appears on one of those taps and becomes a fixture... yeah, perhaps a designated tap just for IPA's, with a rotating selection of quality ones! For entertainment they offer a pool table and a shuffleboard table. So far I've only gone solo, but I imagine it would be fun to bring some friends and make a night of it eating, imbibing, and playing some pool or shuffleboard. Lastly, and most significantly, what makes this a 5-star joint is the friendliness of the staff and clientele (yeah, I know, a fancy-pants word for this neck o' the woods... errr, city!). Awesome, awesome, welcoming, cool and kind people! All three nights I've visited I was made so incredibly welcome, and being that I've had a rough year with some horrific life changes, that means a lot. The regulars - and it seems like a high percentage of the patrons are regulars - are very welcoming and willing to chat with an outsider who is now working on becoming a regular. And barkeep Sharon is a total sweetheart, while being excellent at her job (haven't been when Shannon has been actively working). Great people, great place! See you there!

PEANUT. BUTTER. BURGER! Enough protein in that meal to last you for a week but it is ohhhh so delicioso. Since I'm moving into the neighborhood in the next couple of weeks, I was looking for my own little "watering hole" to stop in for a quick drank and some noms after a long days work. Found the Laughing Pint to be very vintage.. the smell, the decor, the people.. very much like hanging out with gramps and grams at their place on a Sunday afternoon. It was a spring day, so the bar had its doors open and the fresh crisp air coming through felt delightful. I had a couple bites of my friends nachos and the black beans/Natty Boh Brat which were atop this masterpiece of mexicano nachos, were right on point. I found LP to be very refreshing and within walking distance of my house... WIN.

I can't think of a friendlier, cozier place to be with loved ones under the care of incredibly attentive and loving staff who treat you more like family than customers. I have been coming here for years and after moving to a new city and returning for a visit, it was like nothing had changed - the same friendly, loving atmosphere. If you love ping pong, pool, shuffleboard, great mac n cheese, and a true neighborhood joint, then this is the place for you. Long live The Laughing Pint!!

Got a omeghang white and a national bohemian (any one not from out of town will call it natty boh, but I can't fake where I'm from). Came for Taco Tuesday. They also have trivia night on Wednesday and a nice selection of food that is not all just fries and wings. (Beet salad? Yes please.) Sharon and Shannon were both wonderful bartenders and while it was my first and last time (at least for he foreseeable future) in this bar, they both learned my name and introduced me to everyone who stopped by. A real gem in the neighborhood. Would recommend to any one from in or out of town.

One the best hidden gems in Baltimore. Shannon the owner is an awesome lady. Everyone is so welcoming and chill. Free pool and shuffle board. Don't even get me started on the food. Get the cashew burger. I don't care if your vegetarian or not. Eat it and you will love it. Plan on being a regular for years to come.

I had a craving for a great veggie burger and just didn't feel like cooking on a Saturday night. Yes, I wanted to experience a little vegetarian gluttony. So the search began.... in Baltimore. Although the Baltimore area is vegetarian friendly it seems that food cannot be prepared without cheese!!!!! Anyway, moving right along. I searched yelp and Laughing Pint was the closest place I could find near my spot that offered good reviews. Everyone who ordered the cashew burger had great things to say about it, even the omnivores. I called ahead to place my order over the phone for a pick up. I guess because I got my burger without cheese, the lady taking my order informed me the burger was not vegan, contains eggs which I was cool with. The burger was offered with some sorta mayo pasta but I opted for the rosemary wedges for and extra two bucks. I didn't know what to expect from this place but it's totally a dive bar. The tables were full of night time patrons. I guess I looked lost because the bartender knew I was there to only pick up my food. It came in a one of those top fold chicken boxes and the burger was wrapped in foil. In the process of consumption, I thought the food was pretty legit for bar food, especially a veggie burger. The burger was tender but not mushy with a solid texture topped with lettuce, tomato and carmelized onion and a sauce. My only gripe was the burger was a little salty. The wedges were standard and the pickle on the side was a delicious piece of crunch with a kick of heat. I give it 3.5 stars as I would likely only come here for food.

This corner bar was an unexpected surprise. I gives off a divey feel but offers a great variety of beers and liquor along with some tasty food. There are board games and art for sale on the walls and on shelves. We came here on a cold dreary Friday night to meet some friends and I opted for the "healthy" hot tea with just a wee bit of something extra to warm me up. This is the casual type of place that enjoy because I am like a fish out of water in places like Power Plant. In other words, I wouldn't complain if this was suggested again.

If you are looking for a cozy neighborhood bar with great food this is the place for you. I grew up in Baltimore and most of my family is from the Highlandtown/Canton area. This place fits right in. Staff is friendly and welcoming, the food is very good and drinks are great. Definitely take a side trip a check this place out. Great place for an hoc weekday dinner.

Love, love, love this place. The owner works behind the bar and is really approachable and cool. You can tell she put her heart into this joint. The beer selection is small, but diverse. She has a little something for everyone-- from the PBR types to the microbrew elitists. To top it off, she has a great menu! I especially appreciate the fact that she has some of the best vegetarian dishes I've ever eaten, which is saying a lot since I relocated from San Francisco where vegetarian food abounds. This place even has shuffle board and a pool table! I hear that Tuesdays are ping-pong night and that she has trivia too.

Want to feel awkwardness, miss placed and out of the place ?? Then a trip to Baltimore's best bar is what should be in store for your next friendly outing. When you walk in, a wild west staring contest starts. You'll be starred at until you sit. The dead space in the place is huge and you'll likely find a chair. I for one sat at the bar, the douche bag behind the counter came to us and asked us what we wanted. Looking at their chalk board ordering my first brew of the night, I wanted something that didn't end in OOR's or Iller but something from another brewery. "We're all out", a minute later i hear my friend ask for my second selection, "We're all out." After a football like huddle we decided that we should leave Baltimore's top bar of 2010. And thus leaving it forever chalking this one up for one of the worst experience I have EVER had at what is suppose to be the BEST. You would be naive to contest any love to such a horrible experience. 1 extra star for making me feel awkward upon entry.

Love The Laughing Pint! Small, local bar that features no televisions, so the patrons are forced to talk to each other. Small menu, but the food is excellent, especially the wings and burgers. Great place to enjoy a happy hour after work and have a good conversation with a good friend or neighbor.

My neighborhood spot Im pretty sure. Had a nice time here and got to meet some cool neighbors. Im new to highland town still and I didnt have a clue as to what there is to do around here. Dropped in and one nigh and got a real comfortable cozy vibe. Dives can make you feel either comfortable or cautious. nice selection of beer and the no tvs helps get people to actually talk to each other. Seems like a spot I will frequent more often.

I think I smell a hype. This bar is very pricey for what it actually is. $3 Natty Boh draft really makes me cringe. The food is good for bar food though, and I still like to get in here once in a while. This is not your local pub next to your house, and it's not the fancy place to bring a date. It is a change of pace though and there's no other bar much like it.

The Laughing Pint is a lovely establishment with really friendly bartenders that truly love the bar and have been working together for years (it seems). They are pretty good with giving suggestions on drinks when asked. They have a juice press for fresh juices for their cocktails. Drinks are VERY cheap, which only adds to the enjoyableness. The clientele seem to mostly be regulars that are very friendly and welcoming. Our group didn't know what Natty Bo was (we ordered it as "erm, Can I have that National beer?" BLASPHEMY!) and the bartender was quick to educate us on Natty Bo and even gave us a full cup of the bottle tops with the puzzles. That kept us entertained for quite a while! Anyways, I highly recommend this bar to people that live in the area and to tourists, alike. As long as you're a chill out friendly group, looking for a similar crowd at the bar. Note: They have loads of board games in the back, a pool/pingpong table, and shuffleboard!

Overrated. If you want to sit at a table with a few friends, drink decent beer, and eat mediocre food, invite people to your house. That's all you really get here and it costs a hell of a lot more. Hopefully your friends don't have an annoying dog caged in the corner that periodically goes into barking fits, like this place does.

My favorite bar. Their Lagunitas IPA is the best IPA I've had on draft. Very tasty and well thought out "bar food". Everyone there is so helpful and chill.

(12/07/2012) As a restaurant, the Laughing Pint is somewhat awkward, would say they're more like a bar that happens to serve food. They're earnest in trying to bring you good healthy food (there's no fryer) and almost everything is made in-house. Have to say, overall though, most things were on the under-seasoned side, and I do miss the fryer. That was particulary evident with the oven-baked Pear Bourbon Chicken Wings (I like a nice crispy skin from the fryer, the skin on the baked is wan and squishy, but the meat is fall off-the-bone tender); pear bourbon sauce was slightly sweet and fruity, light on the bourbon, some garlic evident. The "Open Sesame!" burger was the most adventurous thing on the menu: an 8 oz. burger with peanut butter and sesame garlic sauce, not sweet like you'd think, hint of nuttiness with the unctuous ground steak went very well (especially with the sweetness of carmelized onions); burger was ordered medium, but came almost well done. Eggplant Gyro was sufficient; was slice of roasted eggplant, spinach, tomato, missing the promised roasted red pepper, sticky schmear of tahini sauce, came in an almost stale whole wheat pita. Mac 'n' Cheese with cheddar and havarti was the baked, not sauced kind, somewhat dry, seasoned with black pepper, could've used a little something else. One of the two specials of the day was a hit: Steamed Mussels with butter, garlic, beer, herbs were steamed just so, still plump and juicy; Blackened Salmon Beurre Blanc was a fairly thick and large (8 oz.) filet with a mild, tasty sauce that we definitely could've used more of, accompanying carrots and rice pilaf were plentiful, bland and forgettable. Roasted Rosemary Potato Wedges were also a surprise hit; basically the Pint's version of fries, tender skin-on potatoes with a garlicky ranch-type dressing. Side Salad is standard, but comes with a nice housemade balsamic vinaigrette. Owner and bartenders are affable, crowd is somewhat hipster self-conscious; the place is small, you'll probably be involved in every conversation around you whether you want to or not (yeah, talking to you Zombie Apocalypse virus/School of Public Health/Big Bang Theory guys). The Pint is best known for it's freshly squeezed grapefruit Greyhounds, definitely get one of these if you're here.

I really like the Laughing Pint. This is the place to go with friends. They've done three extremely admirable things that other local bars in Baltimore should try - killed the TV, killed fried foods and made it about the beer. 1.The TV is NOT the focal point of the establishment. ~There are no wall-mounted TV's. Fantastic. No sports-on-the-telly bullshit to drown out conversation with good friends. No roving eyes watching stupid commercials. This is the place to go for really hanging out with friends. 2. No fried foods off the menu. ~The food is surprisingly good, albeit a little limited. It's bar caliber food but it won't harden your arteries. I've had the veggie panini, a salad and the nachos. The nachos were a bit expensive for what you get. Tastewise, they were all good/great accompaniment to the fine beer selection. 3. Improved the draft beer offerings above and beyond Bud, Natty and Sammy Adams. They have a wonderful draught beer selection. Dogfish and Lagunitas! Yes. Top notch. My only complaint is that the pool table is really sad - It should be free to play that thing with any beer purchase.

This is clearly one of the best little bars in Baltimore. Great place to socialize. It's all the little things about this place that are all just right. Literally you could piss yourself at the bar and they already have a drain properly positioned underfoot to accommodate you. This bar even has a therapy dog. but seriously, the beer is cheap and the food is excellent. excellent staff. very friendly crowd. You really can't go wrong. What else? Heated outdoor smoking area. Vegan food options. Bike rack. Shuffle Board, pool table, and a stack of board games. High-end beer options on tap. Outdoor tables. Super-friendly staff, who emerges from a trap-door in the floor behind the bar. Local art hanging on the walls (for sale!). and very reasonable prices! There is something about this bar that facilitates good conversation between both friends and strangers in ways that other bars do not. A lot of bars you could go in alone and end up drinking by yourself amid the crowd. Every time I go to the Laughing Pint, I end up talking to many people and even playing games with people I've never met. Always a very positive experience.

I was debating back and forth between giving Laughing Pint 3 or 4 stars but ultimately decided to give it 3 stars. My primary reason for that is that I believe in comparison to some other bars I feel that Laughing Pint has the tendency to be overly cliqueish which makes newcomers feel very awkward and alienated. One of the main bartenders is a gentleman who I am sure might be a nice and decent guy but comes off very standoffish and not very friendly (which is not a good quality to have if you are a bar tender). My last major complaint is that food service is VERY slow. I have been here twice so far (2 times because the first time was a complete utter failure and I wanted to give it a second chance) and both times, food has come out slow. Once you do get your food, you will be pretty happy. I really enjoyed their Peter Piper burger, mainly because I am a fan of putting jalapenos on my burgers. I also appreciate the fact that there are many vegetarian options and that food is not fried there. I wish I could like Laughing Pint a bit more because I live in Highlandtown now. I just think they really need to work on their customer service a bit more.

This place is the neighborhood bar for a few of my bestest friends, a fact that leaves me endlessly jealous. My neighborhood bar is, alas, an old man bar. Which I don't always mind because the beer is cheap and the food excellent, but still. I like to hang out around people my own age, yanno? Anyway, I digress. It's the little things about this bar that earn it five stars. I suppose part of my love is that I go with regulars, so I get treated like a regular myself. My best girl and I went in for an early dinner and a drink and to just chill for a minute Friday afternoon. You're not going to find pretension here. What you will find is a pool table and a shuffleboard table. A stack of board games back by the kitchen. A cozy little patio for the smokers who don't want to stand on Gough St. Fabulous and freshly cooked food for good prices. A variety of microbrews and normal brews both on tap and bottled. You can pick up a sixer of something to go if they've got it and you're so inclined. When you mention that you want to steal a particular pint glass within earshot of the owner, she lets you know she'll set one aside for you if they ever get another. In short, I love this place. I only wish it were closer to home so I could become a regular myself.

Mmmm Mint Vodka Lemonade was my drink of choice the first time I went to The Laughing Pint. It was heavenly and refreshing on a warm spring day...I must go back and have another just thinking about it. The bartender was so nice just like the feeling of the bar itself. It felt like a time warp when I stepped in, but it felt good like I went home to my grandparents house and was hanging out in pops man cave with a hint of Granny's kitchen, it felt retro and comfy all at the same time. I ordered the Pint Nachos as a meal since I wasn't craving a burger. The nachos were amazing, black beans, corn, melted cheese, jalapenos, homemade salsa, sour cream, tomatoes, and sausage (hope I'm not missing any other ingredients) man they were gooooood, they had just enough kick to them and they were loaded no skimping at all. My friend ordered the Burger with peanut butter on it (the name of the burger has vanished from my thoughts at the moment) and she was moaning while she at it so I know it had to be just as good as the nachos if not better. She did insist that I take a bite and try it and of course I did since I've never had peanut butter on a burger before. Holy Peanut Butter Cows it was awesome. The bun was toasted, the peanut butter gave it a sweet pb&j taste mixed with beef, lettuce, and tomato which interestingly enough wasn't as weird as I originally had thought. I recommend ordering both of these items off of the menu sometime. I know I will be back more often since my friend moved in a few blocks away...and who doesn't love having a good go to bar to visit when your visiting a friend.

Outstanding little hole in the wall neighborhood bar. A few unusual pluses: 1. No televisions! 2. fresh juices used in the cocktails 3. free shuffleboard. The menu is little small, but good. Parking is easy. If you are looking for a dive bar to kick back with a few friends, this place is perfect.

Good bar food. Attentive and pleasant staff. Good beer selection. They have a ping-pong table and a bunch of other games. Lots of fun to hit up with friends earlier in the night. I suggest the Genesee Cream Ale - you may have never had it, it's cheap, and comes in a huge can.

This is a nice, relaxed hole-in-the-wall feel bar in Highlandtown that has AMAZING food. The downside is the price, the drinks are a little high but for what you get, probably worth it. Wonderful staff, cozy feel. They could use a jukebox of some sort and it would easily be a 5 star hang-out in my book.

I can't tell you how proud I am to be the first one to review this place. Stopped by The Laughing Pint for dinner on Saturday night. I'd been wanting a burger since my missed opportunity during the previous night's dinner, so my chauffeur -- er, companion suggested we drop by this place. We started with the Homemade Chips and Dips: perfectly fried tortilla chips with guacamole and salsa (and just the right amount of heat). He had the Laughing Vegetable Burger, some of which pretty much fell apart and scattered about the plate. I hear the flavors were amazing. As for me, I got Mr. Bill's Pint Burger; I want you to take the time to check out the restaurant's website -- or better yet, the restaurant itself, but I want you to read right here right now what exactly is in this beauty: bacon, tomato, avocado, and arugula pesto. AND it comes on a kaiser roll, which in my opinion is just fucking wonderful. The meat could have been a tiny bit rarer, but I won't complain because there was some blood and everything was just so great. Note that the burgers don't come with fries but with cole slaw (I still don't get why people eat cole slaw) -- actually, I don't believe you can actually get fries here. Which is actually great, because chips + guac + salsa + burger + fries generally = can't move. As far as I can remember, they have a pool table and outdoor seating, as evidenced by the older gentleman who kept coming in and out of the place saying something about a check or food or whatever. I'll be back. I don't know when, but I'll be back.

I went to this bar for a friend's birthday, and was compelled to write something about it! The place was SLAMMED with people here for the birthday party, on top of regular patrons. There were, at most, four people working, and they were handling everything amazing. Our friends were treated very well the whole night--they brought us food wherever we sat, they were quick with drinks when we ordered, they were friendly and fun...they were just great the whole night. The food was great, there was a good variety of drinks to buy...the menu is small (it's a small bar), but that doesn't mean it skimps on variety. There's everything from vegetarian to Mexican, from traditional to more eclectic. It all looks good--I got a taco burger, which I was a little unsure of until I got it. Then, I was all in. The real kicker of the night was when the owner, who was herself running around the whole night with food in her hands, taking orders, getting everything together, stopped to refill my drink. I told her I would wait for a bartender, but she got it. On top of an already impressive night, she put the feather in the cap.

The best small hang out i'v been to in a long time! I stopped in with some relatives the Wed. before thanksgiving and had a blast. It was the first time I had been there. Great beer selection, friendly crowd, and an interesting menu. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a spot on the East side of Baltimore.

Yes, there are hipsters. No, there is not a TV. The imports and craft beers are average price and the big, corporate beers are cheap. The food is good and the staff is extra friendly. I like this place and you should too.

Edamame was amazing lightly tossed in garlic sesame sauce. I wasnt very hungry when i went tonight so i got a burger with plans on taking half home... I ate everything i ordered. The pasta salad was perfectly dressed and seasoned (i planned on leaving it but finished it before i started my burger.). My burger was perfectly cooked (i believe it may be my choice of best burger in town) carmelized onions kept me condiment free and happy as hell! The side salad was a good size (a bit too much feta for me) the house dressing was brilliant and the veggies were way fresh crispy and delicious. The bartender was super sweet and friendly and helpful as all get out! Forgot how good their food is... I always go to eat when its slow. I dont get why people go when places are very busy, so i usually have a good eating experience... We were one of four tables after a rush and it was well timed for a great time ;D

The owner is very nice, the food is pretty good. It might have been the booze that night but the mac n cheese there was some of the best I've ever had. Great neighborhood bar!

Laughing Pint is the best dive bar in Baltimore. You don't come to Pint to watch sports because there is no TV. You come here to socialize. The soft music makes in easy to chat without yelling. The crowd is very eclectic and diverse.

This place is awesome! Good beer, good food, and ping pong. And really nice people. They also don't have TVs everywhere and play good music. Definitely recommend!

I tried to go here one night with some friend's after hearing a lot of good things on Yelp but was pretty disappointed. Just to note, I was only here for 5 minutes. We walked in and it was relatively quiet and everyone turned and stared at us. We sat down at the bar and I ordered a beer. I was told they were out of it. My friend ordered a beer, they were out of it. I tried another beer they were out of it. Eventually we got down to the fact that they pretty much just had the typical BMC on tap and everything else was out so we got up and left. Maybe some day I can come back and give it another chance but for now it left a bad taste in my mouth.

I love this place. It's known as the "Nicest Little Bar in Baltimore" The plusses: They have "Drink and Draw" on Saturdays. There's cool art on the walls (most of the time) created by local artists. The prices are not bad at all. We had three people out drinking beers for about 4 hours and we weren't chugging them or just sipping, and the tab was only $32. The bartender, Beth is very friendly and outgoing, but expect good behaviored patrons as well. Shannon is the owner and is just as friendly although I've seen Beth more often than Shannon. I guess I just go on Saturdays most of the time. The music is extremely varied and interesting. It used to be hard to go there before the smoking ban, but now it's really enjoyable. They've got a mini-pool table for $.50 and free shuffleboard as well as a couple of old-time video games on one of those four-in-one video games. They've also got a snake and a couple of blue poison dart frogs for your viewing pleasure. Soon, they are putting in a dining area, which will make it even better. Specialty: Fresh-squeezed greyhounds Wide selection of beers on draft or in bottles, including: Kostritzer, Guinness, Erdinger, Sierra, Clipper City, Yuengling and Magner's Cider They also have an outdoor heated smoking area. One negative: the area can be a bit shady if you're walking on your own. Not bad if you're walking with friends. Make sure you know what's around you.

Great place for a date. Good food, no TVs, cheap beer, and if you can't find anything to talk about you can always distract yourselves with shuffle board, pool and ping pong.

This is easily in my top five favorite bars in Baltimore. It is quaint, yet modern in it's design, offers a smoking area outside, staple dishes from the kitchen, fresh greyhounds, ping-pong, old-school video games, pool, shuffle board and the music playing is always a delight. Best of all - NO TVs. Not to mention I have started bar crawls and wedding showers here, and the staff is unbelievably accommodating!! Try the vegetarian burger and potatoes. I am an advertised omnivore, and I can get down with the veggie burger. Yum!

Nice little bar. Very chill. I love that it's not too loud so you can actually have conversations. It's also very small but it's all good. The bar tender was really nice. She helped me select a perfect drink after I told her i'm not really a drinker and need something fruity. Me and my bestie had a nice conversation with a guy sitting at the bar. They have table tennis also so we played that a little. Defintely one of my fave bars.
