Let me set the stage - Buy One Get One Entree coupon from the Sun for the Towson or Fells locations. It's a beautiful fall evening. All the restaurants are packed outside along Thames Street. We decided to use the coupon because there was nobody out side and very few inside at the Green Turtle. I admit the last time I ate at a Green Turtle it was in Mt Airy and was bright, clean, full of young families and the food was decent family fare in the manner of TG Fridays or Ruby Tuesday's. This meal was nothing like that at all. First let me get the service out of the way. Our server was friendly, not intrusive, and he was trying to do a good job. The location is challenging and we wanted to eat outside. Our only two companions arrived fortunately as we were finishing our meal. After pounding on the parking machine looking for change and digging in the ashtray for a few smokes, they knocked over the chairs a few times before settling in to finish off their "orange juice". City Life, what can you do. The tables and chairs outside are flimsy and broken with bolts and screws missing and loose. It is the perfect storm for litigation. The outside dining area is pretty dirty and the inside from what I observed in the dark is not much better. Our meals were the pork chop with apples and cranberries with mashed potatoes gravy and seasoned green beans, and the Firehouse chicken breast which is two chicken breasts with bacon and cheese, mashed potatoes, and seasoned green beans. I'm not sure how much of this food is prepared onsite, but I would pin the blame somewhere else if I were the owner or manager. The pork chop was grilled to burnt and the cranberries and assorted coverings were grilled to inedible lumps. The beans were small and had no seasoning and were also grilled or burned and tasted mostly of that. We asked to have the gravy served on the side. It was a good move since it was gravy accompanying a pork chop that never saw a pig. I would guess prison cafeteria style beef gravy with the consistency of thick tepid pudding. The potatoes were sort of warm and although without much taste were the highlight of the plate,. The chicken was of equal quality. It came with only one breast and the second was served after I had completed the rest of the meal. Fortunately they were small because they weren't very good. At least the second was warm. All the accompaniments were the same as with the pork. I didn't get gravy but I got some pre cooked bacon over my grilled chicken which was then covered with "cheese" that was heated to the point that it was pretty much missing. I did enjoy the iceberg lettuce leaf that served as the grease catcher on my plate. I guess all this would have been ok if I had the bottomless drinks like the one good review here, and had never been out to eat before, ever. Here's my one star - the beer was pretty cheap. Other than that, I'm not going back, and cheap beer isn't enough to get me back there with all the other opportunities for better everything all over Fells Point and other parts of Baltimore. It probably isn't a good management move to promote food only to have it drive people away.

Definitely sub-par!!! Service was slow, especially bad when the place had very few guests. When the food finally came, the onion straws was cold, some of the chicken wings was not cooked enough, and the slider buns was also cold. Very disappointed. ..

Sure it is a dive bar and took forever to get our food, but what we got was good food. Think of all the other bars you've been to that just serve crap garbage. There's quality junk food out there to be had. The food here is pretty good for what it is. The crab dip Burger is simple, and not very crabby but is good nonetheless, no additional condiments needed. The crab mac and cheese, again, not very crabby but has a great cheese to mac ratio. The mac is flavorful and has definitely spend enough time in the oven with the sauce to absorb the flavors.

Came here for happy hour. They have great happy hour specials including 2-4-1 drinks and reduced price appetizers. The bartender was nice and the drinks were made just right. The bar was pretty empty and I was shocked because the specials were pretty good. The food was pretty good also. I had the crab pizza which was crab dip on flatbread. It was kind of salty but still good. I also had the sweet potato fries which were slightly dry but the bartender suggested that I try it with Thai chili sauce and when dipped in the sauce it was delicious. My friend had the crab cakes which she said was good but the not the best crab cake. Overall, I would say if you're looking for a good happy hour deal this is the place to go.

Coming to Fells Point and going to a Greene Turtle is equivalent to traveling to Europe and eating at a Ruby Tuesdays, it just completely defeats the point. One the plus side it's cheap and the service, at least at the bar, is fast and friendly. The food however is pretty much Denny's quality. Considering all the great options in Fells there is no excuse for anyone eating here unless you are just so bombed that it doesn't matter.

your typical bar scene. However our bartender was very sweet (Ashley) and made it a fun experience for sure. Nothing set it out from the crowd however, and this side of town was a bit rowdy for me. (I was here for work, maybe it was just seemed that way after a long day :)) I really liked the live band that was playing country music, that was a fun touch!

If ever given the choice to return, I'd flip a coin. Heads for The Green Turtle, Tails for somewhere else. If the flip of the coin ends with Heads Up... I might try two out of three. Here's why. I was traveling from BWI, just south of Baltimore to Las Vegas, Nevada. I had a few hours to kill so I decided to try and have lunch at The Green Turtle. Upon entering I noticed a very large bar. I am not drinking so, I wait for a server to seat me, the were a few employees at the front "host stand" and hardly anyone seated in the dining area. I was told to "go ahead and pick any seat." Once seated, my server asked for my drink order, I chose a "Green Turtle Root Beer" (see picture). It tasted like IBC Root Beer only with a Green Turtle label thrown on the bottle. This is what caught my eye when looking at the menu: CRAB FLATBREAD PIZZA Our signature crab dip, melted mozzarella, and flavorful Old Bay® baked on a warm flatbread. I wanted to try something different and it was that, I liked it, but it just didn't catch my attention like I had hoped. If the flip of the coin ends with Heads Up... I might try two out of three. If heads wins a second time, I'll just choose something else from the menu.

It was a slow Monday night so there was only one waitress covering the bar area and the outdoor seating but the team work put in made up for that. I had just missed happy hour but the $5 margaritas made up for that. Now my meal... I was told to try the PBJ burger (Yes that's Peanut Butter and Jelly) was ridiculously good!! It's a must try for anyone that calls themselves a foodie!! Good times and great food!

I don't get all the horrible reviews here. Granted I was only here for business and had about 30 people ordering drinks all night so I suppose we took over at least half the location. For what it is though, I thought the food and massive beer selection were hard to match anywhere. Good, solid bar apps (this ain't a Michelin starred restaurant people, temper your expectations) that fit the billing, and oh my the beer selection. Great recommendations from the bar keeps and with those apps downed, it called for a solid first night in B'More. Come here, grab a quick bit, grab a beer (or two, or three, or four) and then make your way around Fells Point here and see what the waterside Fells Point has to offer. Not much, but a solid night out nevertheless. Cheers!

Ok so I'm willing to admit I'm a bit of degenerate and the reason we stopped in here was we remembered there was Keno from our last visit. We took a seat at the bar and the bartender was very nice and we never had to wait long for a drink. They definitely had good prices on the 22 oz beers. I will say though John Taffer might have had a problem with the temperature of the beer. I won't say it was warm but it wasn't as refreshingly cold as I would have liked considering it was pretty hot outside. Overall I like this place for the Keno, plenty of TV's to watch a game and the good prices.

A perfectly ordinary pub food joint - nothing special, but nothing disappointing, either. Decent burgers and drinks and everything else you'd expect from a place like this.

Don't eat here - food is bad quality and doesn't taste good. I have been there only once for an event hosted by our condo and specifically asked to the bartender if the food was catered or made in the house. She has confirmed that it was made by them. I have tried Mac and cheese with bacon - nothing special, way too much overcooked pasta and cheap flavour. The salad was past due, the meatballs were okay/poor according to my friends. Disappointed overall, the two stars are for the super nice and friendly blond bartender (I forgot her name).

Just keep walking... Way to many other places to choose from! We stopped in for a drink because we heard it was a fun bar. Ya not so much! The bar service was slow and I always wonder why when the place was empty? I will never go back due to the clientele... I went to use the restroom and wash my hands. Well, I was unable to do that because there was a woman taking a sponge bath and would not move. It was just gross! I walked out and used the men's (of course) Scary thing was I never saw her come out. Just a weird experience!

I need to update my review! I've been here several more times since then, and every time has been a whole lot better. Friendlier service every time, cleaner restaurant, consistently good food. I still love the salads. Burgers are tasty. Sides are tasty. I got the chicken tenders this time - sweet chili sauce and kickin' bourbon. Both sauces are zesty and good. The tenders always come out of the kitchen piping hot. I was happy they had a Baltimore craft ale - Full Tilt pale. Gotta love the little guys! The bartender was the only one working today in front of house. He was busy, but not too busy to chat or be friendly. (Actually a manager! I can see why.) Honestly, for what Greene Turtle is, they do really well. I'm not one to like chains, but it's consistent and where it should be quality wise. It's a chain for a reason. Quelle yelp, don't hate!!

Ashley & Laura are absolutely amazing .. They seem very enthusiastic about their job & work great together. It's great to see team work in employees it is rare in most places. They are great examples in your establishment and deserve praise for that. They certainly enhanced our visit and desire to come back. Especially Laura she was super sweet & got our water while the bartender was taking care of other guest. What amazing employees you have :) thank you for such an amazing experience! We will defiantly be back to visit them & enjoy great food ;)

Oh my God, a chain restaurant in Fells Point! Yep, calm down and get over yourself! Came here with a work group and we had a nifty time. Decent selection of brews and cocktails. Best fried pickle spears I have ever had and each order has eight, large spears. Their hot crab dip was yummy and worth the calories splurge. Attentive service and the bartender was easy on the eyes. Good place for groups. Not a romantic, date type of place but that's cool as long as they keep the pickles on the menu and Mr. Dreamy behind the bar.

With so many Fells Point bars, I rarely visit the Greene Turtle, but my friends and I had a great experience last week. A group of six of us rolled in after Orioles opening day festivities and were happy to escape the crowds. The staff did not mind one bit that we took over the tiny back room with arcade games. We were able to freely set up flip cup and beer pong, as well as order "shit tons" of food items. The food was hot and delicious- especially good crap dip served with soft pretzels. The server, Shawn, and the cook were super awesome. Both were happy to serve us and enjoy our sense of humor. I will be back simply for the kindness they showed to our group!

Id give this place a zero if i could. I went in and sat at the bar. There were maybe 6 others at the bar with drinks and two parties seated at tables; not busy. The bartender is at the other end talking and shooting the shit. He sees me and continues. I look over a menu that's laying on the bar at least 3 times and then put it down. No bartender comes over, in fact, he goes in the back. I got my things and left, never to return again, ever, with that type of service. Guess it is the same bartender others mentioned.

The Greene Turtle is a great place. My brother and I were strolling through Fells Point we went inside sat at the bar the bartender was great she told us about the history of the GT. Made recommendations. I had the blackened chicken wrap and a Sweet Baby Jesus porter it was perfect. Food was fresh beer selections were great.

We will not enter any bar before eating and drinking here. happy hours the best but the prices are still right for any other time. Sometimes there's music witch is always a plus or you can just enjoy the game. This is actually my favorite green turtle out of all of them. The Bartenders are always cool and don't mind charging your phone while you drink. Id go every Friday night if I could but I always need time to get my head together from the long weekend of fun.

The game at the bar is fun and addicting, especially the one you find what is different in the pictures. Fun for a group. I was disappointed to see how the once mighty had fallen the last time we took an out of town friend on his annual visit. All the poor fish in the fish tank were dead. The fish tank looked cool minus the floaters upon approach, I suppose? A kitchen employee was shouting and cussing out a bar maid who was then escorted to her car by a third male employee after being publicly humiliated. There were Unidentified Floating Objects in my pineapple juice, Malibu and vanilla vodka drink. The tiny, cramped bathroom is a cesspool... Location, the building itself and fact that this doesn't look like YET ANOTHER Greene Turtle chain restaurant along with Nostalgia saved you this review Greene Turtle. Get it together!

My wife and I usually eat at the Green Turtle when we come to Fells Point. It is not normally as crowded as the other places and we have always gotten decent food and service. I like that they have a few outdoor tables but they go quickly and are hard to come by. Out of the six times we have eaten there on a Saturday or Sunday we have only gotten outside tables once. Even though it is an Orioles town they will usually have the Nats games on one of the tv's. Caps games also get a good crowd at the bar too. I actually like Natty Boh and they have it on tap and usually at a discounted price. We typically stick to traditional bar food, wings, burgers, maybe the pizza and have never been disappointed. The "kinda hot" sauce is the best for the wings. We even purchase bottles to take home. One time they were out of that variety and the server/manager allowed us to take the just opened bottle from the table for free. The building is run down and the bathrooms are pretty disgusting but luckily I am a guy.

I don't normally do chain-style restaurants, especially Greene Turtle. I find their food to be mediocre, with small portions for an expensive price. However, I've found that this GT specifically, to be more appealing than any other I've been to. If you're going to hang out with some friends at the bar and grab a few drinks, the GT in Fells is a cool little hangout and bar, but (like I said before) dont expect great food or you're expectations will be obliterated. If you want legit food for a more reasonable price, try any of the places next door to the Turtle: Alexander's Tavern, Todd Connor's, etc. and then hop over to the GT to get schwasty pants :) The bartenders Dan and Nethias (spelling on that?) are fantastic! Super friendly with plenty of good conversation. Plus, you cant really go wrong with skeeball leagues, fish blowing competitions and a 10% off coupon that you recieve if you check-in for the first time at GT using your Yelp app!

The Turtle... The turtle is Ok for sports and Happy hour... other than that, there many other fine places to check out in Fells Point If you are looking to watch sports, this is a good place, Decent amount of TV's and they useally have drink specials during the game... a def. plus! If you are just looking for Happy hour food and drinks, you can hit the spot, but comparitvly there are many other better places with better drinks, food, and atmosphere... The Turtle comes off kind of sleezy and dirty, so its somehwhere I would considir going unless for sports.

They have cheap drinks and average music. Games in the back and a $2 cover charge. I would say that's a decent damn bar. Now I'm not for bars charging covers, who do you think you are, a club? But it's Fells Point so it is what it is. Ryan (bartender) silly self. We were joking with him all night. First I wasn't sure how to take him lol smart a$$, but he was funny.

I don't typically leave reviews, especially bad ones, but today was pretty bad. Food: 2 stars Atmosphere: 3 stars Service: 0 stars Was walking around in fells point this morning and stopped into the Green Turtle for their breakfast menu. Had a breakfast sandwich and my brother had the burger special for ($5.99). We also saw $3 Bloody Mary's on the menu, and each ordered one. The food was ok. My brother said the burger was not very good, and only ante half of it. The service started good, but by half way through the meal, our server disappeared. The place was not busy, so I have no idea what happened to her. We waited 15 minutes for her to come by and give us our check. When she did, the drinks rang up at regular price, and she explained that it was an "old menu" and that the drinks were not at the advertised price. It took another 15 minutes to sort out the bill. They begrudgingly honored the menu price. Sorry Green Turtle, but I shall never return.

All I have to say is "GOLD FISH RACES". It's new to the Baltimore area and fun to see. There is also a Skeeball league that happens on Thursday nights and you can play beer pong any night of the week. GT def. is a place to have fun with your friends in toe so you won't be bored. Plenty of TVs for sports watching. The food is okay some meals are better than others, it's bar food so don't expect more or you might be disappointed. GT serves breakfast (maybe brunch), lunch, and dinner. There are specials like most other sports bars. If you are a good yelp-er you can check-in and get 10% of you bill. Another great perk of being a yelp-er. The bartenders are friendly, comical, are on top of things (for the most part), and they know how to treat their customers and make sure they are having a good time. I'm sure on busy nights others haven't experienced the best of service, but it happens in the food industry so deal with it.

Probably a good place for two but definitely not for 6. Stopped in this past weekend with my family and received four menus (for 6 people) and some drinks, That was the last we saw our waitress. Paid for the drinks and left. 20 minutes in an empty place to place a food order is just non-acceptable customer service.

Yay!/Eh... I came here for dinner with a friend while wandering around Fell's Point. It's a pretty generic bar with generic bar food. We sat outside and ordered beers and the cheese fries to start. For my entree I ordered the turkey and cranberry panini (because I was in a Thanksgiving mood) with sweet potato fries. My friend ordered a chicken wrap with ranch dressing. I thought the food was decent, but nothing to write home about. I did enjoy sitting outside because beer just tastes better to me when I can kick my feet up and enjoy a cool summer night's breeze.

Arghh.. I hate to one-star a place, but sometimes it just has to be done. I'd give it maybe 1.5 being generous. I cannot believe this is the same chain as The Green Turtle in Columbia!! Polar opposites. I've been here 4 or 5 times for trivia and it just gets worse and worse. For one thing... It has a grungy feel when you walk in. I'm not saying old, historic Fells Point grungy, I'm saying it needs a serious cleaning and furniture replacement grungy. For all the bars & competition in Fells, this place is lagging like Baltimore on a Monday after an evening Ravens game! Their specials on Trivia Night are... $2 Miller Lites. That's it. At least Field House offers half-priced burgers (and an extended happy hour.) Top 3 most memorable experiences: The first time we went I had french onion soup. It was meh. After our bad experience at Field House last week, my friends and I came here. Two of us split the deep dish cookie or whatever it's called and it was pretty bad. Like it had been in the freezer for a few months or something. Aaand I'm preeeetty sure they cooked it on the grill, (where they fix the burgers!!!! GROSS) because a couple of bites tasted burger-esque. We didn't send it back though because after a couple of bites each it was half gone already. Last night we went to trivia and the place was actually almost full. I hadn't eaten since lunch & it was 8pm, so I was pretty hungry. Decided on the California burger with fries instead of chips & my other friends ordered food as well... (I thought I was just impatiently hungry so I didn't say anything, but two of my friends did bring up the wait) 10...15...20... somewhere between 20 and 25 minutes after we ordered we got our food. Our server (don't think she even said her name) didn't apologize for the wait at all, dropped the food and ran off. So... WORST burger I've ever had. 10.69 down the toilet. (not incl extra $ for fries) It was perfectly shaped though... aka frozen!!! }:-( It had avocado, pepper jack & bacon and the bacon was the only thing I could distinguish. Dry, bland, blegh. Now... back to this server... I will say that it was just her & the bartender, & it was a lot for just the two of them BUT having been a server... 9 times out of 10 all you have to do is offer a sincere apology to people! This girl was not the apologetic type. Heard her getting snappy with the bartender (while out front on the restaurant side of the bar.) Yikes. She did come around a couple times to refill beers but our empty plates sat on the table for 10 minutes after we finished eating. (We're playing trivia here, mam! this is serious! get this shhh..tuff out of the way!!) :P Anyway, the last straw was when trivia ended. She came over a few minutes later & asked if we wanted the check & we said yes. 5...10...hey deja vu, at least i'm not hungry this time... maybe 12 minutes later she came back & said "all set?" "uhh yep, can we have the check?" ::puzzled look:: "oh! i didnt bring it? be right back!" (Like i said, not the apologetic type!!!) she brought it right back then proceeded to go clean tables for 5 minutes, not even glancing over to see that we were ready 30 seconds after she dropped it off. Soooo coming to the end of our patience...I bit the bullet, I did it... I walked over & handed it to her. Tisk, tisk. I'd really rather never come here again, but this is the only time that works for our trivia group SOOO unfortunately I'll probably have to return. I'm just going to start eating elsewhere before I get here. Whew... one-stars are the stairmaster of yelp!

Came here for dessert after we found Maggie Moo's had just closed (much to our disappointment). I think the very first thing we experienced when entering best sums up this restaurant. There was an odd man who apparently was a yo-yo expert flinging a yo-yo in all different directions next to his table of eating companions. Seriously. And this place is cramped! We were afraid we were going to get hit in the head with a yo-yo as we waited for a table. Seriously. When we finally got a table, it was wobbly and kept rotating, a horrible combination. Definitely seemed to be on its last legs, literally. And my chair was no better (try eating dessert on a wobbly table with a chair that rocks back and forth...not easy!) The staff is very friendly but definitely overworked. Our poor waitress expressed her frustration to us. I was kind of grossed out to have her hand us our waters with her hand holding the top of the glasses though, especially during flu season. Thankfully, we drank out of straws and didn't have to sip from the glass. The two stars is for the dessert which was actually very good. The reviewer who said it's a grungy (dirty grungy, not cool grungy) atmosphere was right. It seems perfect for a college frat house type of crowd, but not for a family. We won't be going back.

Food is great. Our WAITRESS, Sarah, on the other hand, was...what's the nicest way to say "Space Cadet Idiot"? She couldn't pass the GED if her life depended on it. Hitls head was in the clouds, Never had a more ignorant person deal with me at a restaurant / bar. Took 3 tries to get the check correct, screwed up our crab cake order and charged us double, the list goes on and on. Eat here, but beware the moron taking your order.

I had really high expectations of this restaurant when I first visited. The name "Greene Turtle" is plastered all over Maryland so I thought I'd give it a try. I came in with a few co-workers after a long day expecting a relaxing evening. First we weren't greeted at our booth even though we made eye contact with what seemed like every employee. We decided moving to the bar might be a better idea. The 2 bartenders working were clearly in their own world speaking only to each other with their backs to us. There were a few other people sitting at the bar mostly drinking bottled beer and watching sports. After sitting at the bar another 3 minutes or so, my co worked politely asked if someone would take our drink order as we looked over our sticky menus. One of the bartenders acted very offended we interrupted her conversation. She came over introduced herself as Sarah and rudely asked what we wanted. She wasn't quick getting our drinks and after taking a few sips of their "signature" drinks we all agreed the liquor pours were very light. You could barely taste the cheap booze they used so we decided next round we'd try something else. We had to get their attention from across the bar and again Sara and her gossip partner seemed very irritated with us. Not the usual treatment we're used to getting when paying for a meal and drinks. The second round was about the same as the first, not enough liquor and too much mixer. After looking over the sticky, unclean menus we decided to split a few appetizers. Our appetizers came out after 20 minutes which was longer than we had expected but we were starving. We split a crab dip, pretzel sticks, and buffalo chicken dip. The pretzels were burnt and impossible to eat. The cheese dip that came with it was in a small 1 ounce cup not enough for 5 full size pretzel sticks. The buffalo chicken dip was the most edible of the three but it tasted like it had simply come out of a microwave. The tortilla chips with it were stale. The crab dip was absolutely the worst, over seasoned with old bay and the crab was clearly imitation crab meat. Maryland has some of the best crab products I've had all over the world so that poor excuse for crab dip was completely unacceptable. After being treated poorly and eating terrible food we saw no point in staying for an actual entree. I've never been so disappointed and shocked that a chain restaurant would be so terrible. The service is horrible the food should not be called food. I spoke to the manager working and told him about my experience. He didn't seem the slightest bit concerned or sorry. I'm very disappointed with the staff and service. I would recommend eating and drinking any where in Fells Point except the Green Turtle.

Very inconsistent. I came here one Saturday night for drinks with a friend and it was like a frat house with a "DJ" who was just a surly looking chick with her iPod on shuffle. Not too expensive but a 2$ cover for a chain bar is absolutely absurd. Came a couple weeks later for lunch and had the most amazing appetizers. Fresh, seasoned, battered fried pickle spears and a fresh caprese salad with actually homemade mozzarella made on site! Then the mains came and it was a horrible, overcooked burger with plastic cheese and limp fries that were obviously frozen along with the beef. I don't know what is going on in that kitchen but who ever made the appetizers was not who cooked the mains. They should be ashamed of those burgers

If you are in your 20s and single, this is the perfect hang out for you. This Place gets mobbed during the weekends by "horny" (did I just say that?) college students. This is a sport bar and expect sport bar clientele. Enough said. The drinks are inexpensive and the burgers are yummy. Do not expect a gourmet burger to be served here, there is nothing to write home about these burgers. Service is always friendly and helpful. Great for a fun young group outting

First time eating here out of all the times we've visited Fells...sat outside right away (got there 20 minutes after opening for lunch on a Friday), waitstaff was prompt and friendly and we had excellent sandwiches and fries for our meal! Great location in the middle of everything!

Good place to watch the Sunday football games. Not overpriced. The layout is kinda weird but it's functional. Food was edible. Service was ok.

If it weren't for my memories of this once great bar, I would have given it 1 star instead of 2. To call it a dive might be the best compliment it's gotten recently. The food is still ok, but the bar and surroundings look like they haven't been cleaned thoroughly since the 90s. I tried engaging in conversation with the bartender but she was busy playing on her phone. And the bathroom is disgusting. I made the mistake of going in there with flip flops...don't make that mistake.

I just read a few of the really detailed, bad reviews and a few of the decent reviews. I am settling somewhere in the middle on this one. Would I go back again? Probably not if other places in the same locale are not that crowded. I would suggest going here for an inexpensive burger to watch a game and grab a beer. The fries are a little too salty- warning! The burgers are decent, I've had better. My date ordered the crab cakes and he was pleasantly surprised by the composition- we set our expectations low on that one and were surprised when they fared a bit better! Of course, there are better places for crab cakes though. Service was decent. That's about it folks!

This location is a let down when compared to their others. There's less of a beer selection than their newer locations and their food typically comes out subpar. In fact one recent visit left most of my groups stomachs a bit upset.

This location is pretty old and rundown. Service was pretty poor as there was only one waitress for interior and exterior on the day I went. Do yourself a favor and choose someplace else to eat in the neighborhood.

This is for the Fells Point location. Hopefully it's gotten better ....Where do I begin? The lack of service? The time it takes for anyone to notice you? The lack of staff? I don't even know.... Let's say what we liked, the food , it was good we had an app and some sandwiches, they were all great. The steps taken to get the food was not! I understand restaurants get busy, I know it's hard to wait on a restaurant when it is busy and there may only be what looked like 2 servers on the floor. But we waited 20 mins to get a server, another 15 at the table for a drop of water and what felt like another 20 to place an order. Then a hefty wait for the food which was decent. After the water and beer hit the table the first time we never saw our waitress again. Not a trace ,hows the food? do you need a refill? Nada!!!. I had to take our drinks in to refill myself with the bartender the only person who looked Ike they had a clue and I also had to search for napkins on my own after we waited for another 10 mins for silverware we asked for from the other waitress . We were surrounded by dirty dishes on our table and surrounding ones, it felt like we were left to die in a waterless desert...were are just unsatisfied with the whole experience. *** Greene Turtle Here is a tip, have a manager walking around helping and checking in, run the bus boy around every 5 mins and throw in a Tag team effort with your fellow server to help you out. I felt like I needed to tip myself for what I did. Will we be back? I can't answer that right now!

Like other reviewers have stated, you get what you pay for. But this restaurant is exactly what it advertises and the food isn't half bad. We stopped by for happy hour and got $5.99 burgers (which includes some of their specialty burgers). The turkey burger was surprisingly good! We ended up spending only slightly more than we would on fast food, and for higher quality. Service was a little slow, but nothing unreasonable. I think we'll be back!

This place reminds me of TGIF with a wide range of people here- families, twenties, and above. The food is fine, a little salty for me- the boneless wings are soft and the waffle fries are decent. My friend really enjoys the fish tacos here. I had a really amazing seasonal beer here- it was the pumpkin ale with cinnamon around the rim. Beer is not my favorite but I would definitely drink a couple of these. Trivia is really fun on Wednesday's at 7pm, my team won some gift cards, koozies, a hat and a shirt. Typically I haven't seen it too busy so I would say that it is a nice mellow place to fall back on if you can't decide between the dozens of bars in Fell's.

Things that have happened in this bar: -- I was asked if I was pregnant. --I was asked this while holding a beer in one hand. --I was stuck to the floor. --I was introduced to the Dirty Girl Scout.

Bland, boring, generic, sports-oriented bar with boring, generic food, frequented by boring, generic people who are looking to mate with other boring, generic people of the opposite sex and to possibly settle down and have boring, generic lives together. Your soul dies a little bit every time you step into an establishment like this.

Sunday morning brunch and the waitress tells us they don't serve coffee. The food was just okay. Location was great, right in the middle of Fells Point. We sat outside on a beautiful morning.

You get what you pay for. Most people I think have seen the bumper stickers of this place, it's very nondescript and VERY frat-tastic vibe. I usually hit this joint up b/c of the Water Taxi specials (you get the vouchers for all those drink and food specials in Fells Point). Anyway, I think we got some beers, and chicken nachos. The nachos were pretty good! And cheap too. And I mean, like I said, you get what you pay for...so you leave without spending a ton of money. If you can handle the beer and billiards atmosphere, then you'll like this place.

The Greene Turtle is OK. It's not memorable--it could be a sports bar in Baltimore or Bangkok. The prices aren't outrageous but far from being a good deal. The food is palatable but nothing I'd order again. The crowd is generic, with the guys in team tshirts and the girls in mini skirts. Eh.

It's your typical Greene Turtle restaurant. Food is okay, not the best but okay if you're hungry. Very Baltimore like setting, however the staff just seems to be doing their job without providing super dooper service. Good for college kids. I only went because it was my friends birthday and she's a typical lacrosse player.
