Holy gelato-what-oh!!?!! Get out of the sun and get yourself a scoop...maybe two. I had a small, with the choice of 3 different delectable flavors all jam-packed in an itty bitty cup. I had the wedding cake, berry, and melon flavors. Yes, it was tough to make a decision, so I didn't make one....I just got them all! Reasonably priced and conveniently located. I shall return...and next time, I will get a bigger cup!

The lemon gelato was average at best and the cookies and cream was icy. The workers were pleasant and upbeat. The store was fun and vibrant with an abundance of delicious sugary treats.

I got the gelato milkshake. Mad gelato is used in the milkshake. Needless to say, it was tasty. The only negative was that I drank it too fast and had nothing left. I want more.

Worst customer service ever! Check out other places in the area this place is a joke! My total was 10.50 I gave her a $20 and last minute I realized I had the $.50 and she told me too late I already put it in and instead of taking my $.50 she gave me $9.50 back! If your going to work as a cashier you should learn math first and not rely on a computer

Strange place. Closed but not closed? Doors were closed, people could not get in.... The fruit sherbet I had was so so. You can have an ice cream there but it will be just average.

My husband and I came for a little dessert at the Harbor. You can sample the flavors they have for the day - I tried the Raspberry Rose and it was a nice little combination of tart raspberry with a hint of rose throughout. +Raspberry Rose

The line moved quickly, the staff was very friendly, and the Gelatto was really good! I had the Chocolate and Peanut Butter Cup Gelatto. The peanut butter didn't over power the chocolate, so it was very good, thick, and rich.

Overpriced gelato. People rave about this place on Yelp, but I found it to be average gelato at an above-average cost. It is located in It's Sugar, so it is a bit difficult to find if you are in the mall, but that is not worthy of a bad review. It just didn't do anything for me. It is hard to ruin gelato, but I would suggest finding another place for a dessert snack around.

Very fresh, smooth, and light flavors. The gelato is very good. The fruit flavors taste like smoothies more so than sorbet so makes for a unique flavor.

Fabulous gelato! Comparable to what you get in Italy, IMHO.... And great flavors that are not run of the mill. Definitely try the caramel salt (sweet and salty!)...the Black cherry also good but definitely pales by comparison to the caramel salt and the amaretto. Bit of a swishy 'tude from the guy scooping our gelato, but what can you do...??

This little gelato shop is connected to It'Sugar in downtown Baltimore. The location is great- water front by the pier so it's any easy stop from public transit and surrounded by great scenery. It's also in walking distance to the national aquarium and in the heart of a major shopping district. They have a good selection of flavors ranging from the traditional to modern, fruity to sweet. We tried out the blood orange to start; nice and tart with great consistency and flavor. I'll definitely be coming back the next time we come down!

I went last week and must say this "gelato" was the nastiest, most chemically tasting concoction in the world. I've never had anything quite like it. First off, it all looked kind of melty, as if it had been frozen, softened, frozen and softened again. But I wanted gelato so I got three flavors, violet, green tea and something else I don't recall. Tasted each twice to make sure I wasn't missing anything. The first round I could sort of taste the difference in flavoring, although it all tasted like chemical flavoring. Tried a second taste of each and at that point could no longer distinguish between the three, and threw the rest away along with the $6 I wasted.

I tried Paciugo's gelato when I was in San Antonio recently, and it was the best I've had outside Italy, other than what I would make in my years working at a fine Italian restaurant in D.C. (not tooting my own horn, as I was using someone else's recipe). So I was excited to try this newly opened location in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. It was a little hard to find-- the employees we asked didn't even know where it was-- but finally we located it in a candy store called It's Sugar. I'm happy to report that the product was consistent with the excellent ice cream I had at their other location. I prefer Paciugo to all the Argentinian gelato places in the D.C. area. I don't even know what distinguishes Argentinian from Italian, but perhaps it's just the Italian is tastier and creamier. That richness might just be owning to the provenance of the dairy in Italy, which is superior to that in America, I'm sure. The much-touted Pitango, while appreciably natural/organic, I find "stringy" & thin, which the exception of their hazelnut gelato, which is quite good. (Don't get me started on how watery, icy, bland, & hard their "sorbets" are! And this observation is based on numerous visits, including as a purchaser for the restaurants where I worked. They also store their product at a little too low a temperature.) Boccato is fine for a gelato fix but doesn't seem to have the depth of flavor or mouth feel of the authentic Italian treat. Dolcezza is good but just not especially rich or flavorful to me, though I do appreciate their adventurousness with flavors. And Whole Foods gelato is probably the lowest on the list. I love Whole Foods Market as a store (when I can afford it) and actually used to work there, but until I read the ingredients on their mix, I couldn't pinpoint what their gelato was missing. Uh, that would be egg (yolks, specifically), a key ingredient! Paciugo is the creamiest and most flavorful gelato I've had in a shop on this side of the Atlantic and including in London. Tantalizing flavors, optimal temperature, not overly sweet. The selection in this location is pretty good. I liked the deep caramel flavor in the creme brulee flavor. The black amarena cherry is so good, as is the Mediterranean sea salt caramel. It wouldn't hurt to have a few more choices in their case though. They also have sorbets and sugar-free items. I don't know if the prices are the same from one locale to the next, but I remember it being pretty reasonably priced in San Antonio. Not sure of the prices here, but even so, a much more desirable product and and still cheaper than many of the other gelaterias in the D.C. area (not that there are that many, and maybe because it was Baltimore and not D.C.). I hope they open a Paciugo in D.C. soon. Baltimore, you have one on D.C., for now!
