You know what you're getting when you go to an Outback. There are some very good items on the menu and there are some things you know to stay away from. I'm not a fan of their blooming onion. It's too greasy and usually undercooked. I also don't like their crab-"stuffed" shrimp. They use baby shrimp and very little crab, if any (to be honest). But I LOVE their red wine sangria. It's very fruity yet one glass is enough to have you feeling the spirits :D I also like their burgers. The bacon cheeseburger is my favorite. Their pasta dishes taste as you expect them to taste. Not bad, but not amazing. This Outback is tucked in a nice corner in Owings Mills, and there are TONS of restaurants in a 2 ml radius of this area. So I wouldn't take comments regarding the wait here too serious, bc if it were that terrible (or any worse than average) people would go elsewhere.

It's Outback. Brown bread with butter? In my mouth. $9 for a 6oz. steak that comes with a soup or salad and 1 side? Uhh, yeah. That can go in my mouth too. Plus, the flavours are pretty spot on. It's a chain, but a pretty good one at that. This one in particular is pretty decent. Good service and the food is cooked well.

Awesome atmosphere. We all know its a chain so the restaurant is uniformly decorated but it was great. The Food was excellent and my server was second to none.

I used to work for an outback back when they were owned by the original owners, so perhaps I'm biased but we had very high standards back then. The prime rib, while still good, was more medium than medium rare (how I ordered it) and that can make or break a prime rib as anyone knows. Service was slightly lower than adequate; I've had better service in every outback I've been in (5 different outbacks) but perhaps it's just a manifestation of the current corporate ideology. We used to try harder.

Server was awesome, food was surprisingly good for a chain restaurant, steak cooked perfectly. All the food was brought out FAST. Very pleasant dining experience.

Had a great time. Celebrated my girlfriend's 26th birthday here. Kaley, our server was really good. We asked her a couple questions about the menu and she was helpful. I asked her about a drink and she told us she wouldn't know because she was not old enough to drink but still suggested a Sangria pitcher that was 15 bucks. She aaid it was a great deal and people get it a lot. My girlfriend ordered it and enjoyed it. Food came out in a reasonable time considering a well done steak was ordered. Everything was tasty other than my broccoli which was kind of my bland. Service was great. Kaley was really attentive. Only issue was there was one table who apparently saw a mouse in the restaurant. They weren't quiet about it either. The manager, who was walking the floor, seemed to do nothing about. If I were the manager I would have kindly asked them to leave because they were really loud and obnoxious about it. Even our server apologized for their rudeness although we explained it wasn't her fault. It was obvious that the restaurant was cleaner than most and I didn't see a mouse so I was more inclined to leave because the women kept on talking about mice loud enough for everyone to hear. Luckily when this all started we were finishing dinner so the experience wasn't completely ruined. Overall excellent service, great food. Management needs to be in more control though.

We have eaten at this location a number of times and all has been fine. We have also gotten the take away service a number of time and never had a problem till tonight. We ordered three meals, one with a baked potatoe. When the potatoe was unwrapped from the foil it was split open with two pieces of what looked like two shriveled black pieces of mold. It was absolutely disgusting and ruined the meal for all of us. I called the restaurant and spoke to a nice young girl who put me on hold for an extended period of time waiting for a manager, he never came to the phone, The shriveled mold dinner cost upwards of $50 and lack of customer service ruined this local restaurant for us. We won't be going back.

Okay, so it's Outback. It's a chain restaurant, so I can't really expect too much, but....eh, I wasn't thrilled. Even worse, this qualified as my birthday dinner this year - NOT my choice, but I had a disabled party with me that couldn't travel far, so... this place got the business. The service was okay, and the food was okay... but you know, that's really all I can say for this place. It was just "okay", not great. I had a small 6 ounce steak with veggies and a baked potato - really, nothing I couldn't have made at home myself for less money. The brown bread was actually pretty good and the dessert (carrot cake) was really decadent - those were highlights of the meal. Especially the carrot cake. Really, get it - you won't regret the taste of the cream cheese filling. Pretty good! Where this experience stumbled for me was the service - OUR server wasn't terrible, she was friendly enough. It was the close proximity to another table where THEIR server was squeezing in behind all of us with trays, drinks, etc., smacking our disabled party in the back more than once (without an apology), glaring at me when I didn't move my chair fast enough to accommodate her.... really? I mean, you see that one of my guests has a mobility issue, right? This is why we're not sitting in a booth, you know. There is no need to squeeze yourself in between the seats and hit people in the backs and necks with your food/drink glasses and NOT say "excuse me" at the very least. I mean, come on. Not only that, this particular table had a lot of screaming, rambunctious children that seriously needed to either be home for dinner or at the best, at a Chuck E. Cheese's. Climbing all over chairs, disrupting traffic flow, complaining about the food.... really, keep your spawn home if you can't control them. I'm not their parent - that's YOUR job. Next time I'm going to insist on Fogo de Chao for my birthday. So, yeah. Food okay, service okay. But not likely to come here again.

If you want food and drinks this is a good place to go to. To be honest the steaks are pretty mediocre considering the fact that this is a steakhouse. Would go back but def wouldn't waste my money on the steak.

Love me some Blue pecan chopped salad. Had a nice dinner here tonight. Steak was cooked perfectly. Waitress are always friendly. Never have much of a wait. Not far from my house so we come at least once a week. Yum!

The food here is good, in line with what you come to expect from an Outback Steakhouse. In particular their steaks are always cooked to order (you know how sometimes you can order medium rare and get medium well...well not here!). In addition, they do an excellent job with the pork tenderloin; it's a go-to favorite of mine, despite being at a steakhouse. What really makes them stand out is their service. As only one example, one night I decided to do a take-out as I have done numerous other times that I don't feel like dining out but don't feel like cooking either. Unfortunately this time, and I should say it's the only time this happened, I got some blue cheese salad instead of Caesar. Since I live close it was easy for me to go back but the take-out server apologized sincerely for the mistake and gave me a slice of carrot cake. On that note, if you ever have room left over the desserts are good too. Only issue is that they definitely get busy during peak times so there will likely be a wait. But hey, being popular must attest to how good they are, right?

I came here a few days ago very close to closing time. I ordered my favorite "no rules Parmesan pasta " . the pasta was very good and flavorful as always but this time it came they a little piece of toast bread which is unusual with the pasta. The toast bread that came with the pasta was very disappointing but other thing that the service was good. I will most likely return.

Food is standard outback and there's a parking lot which is nice for Baltimore. But service was very slow and not particularly friendly or helpful. There are so many other better local places to go to in this area.

Pretty big fan of Outback! The brown bread is absolutely delicious and of course unlimited with any order of entree. I normally finish at least 4 of them with my steak! My go-to is the 12 oz. Outback Special Sirloin for $18.99. Great value. Get 2 sides too. I know this is not Capital Grille or Ruth Chris, but for the price you're paying for the steak quality is great along with the sides being included. From my experience, the steak sometimes is undercooked. I normally get medium-well, but (guess they're being cautious) it sometimes come out as medium-rare to medium. A lot of times they have promotional offers such as adding $4 more to get a lobster tail or unlimited shrimp to go along with your steak. Now that's the kind of offer I cannot refuse... Bathroom has always been clean the times I've been there, shows they are staying on top of things. 1 star off for inconsistent service when seated at the tables, but overall service has been solid/good.

Outback is outback. They always serve up the same product, but the prices continue to increase. I love that they serve fosters, but don't bother with their cocktails bc they are just expensive and not boozy at all. This outback has lackluster service and i swear the portion sizes have decreased. This is a good location though and on Thursdays during the summer you can listen to live music from the patio.

First and foremost, Outback should always be able to deliver a good steak. The service here is great - attentive, polite, and not intrusive. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was below what should be expected at a good chain restaurant. My salad was soggy, and most of the Caesar's lettuce had begun to oxidize and brown. The filet was also sub-par, it was sinewy and barely had any of Outback's traditional seasoning on it. Still, a good place to grab a drink, an appetizer, and great, friendly service.

Since it's a chain I pretty much knew what to expect from the food it's the service that gets downgraded... So some friends and I decided to go to this location before an event. We got there checked in and sat in the corner to chat.. They have us a buzzer and an hour went by so we asked why we hadn't been buzzed and their excuse was they called our number.. First of all we couldn't hear anything as the restaurant was loud and who is listening for numbers when you have a table buzzer?! When we brought this to the attention of the host they were able to get us a table right away and even offered some free apps which was nice. Our waitress once we sat down wasn't as attentive as I would have liked her to be but i normally don't expect much from chain restaurants.. overall it was ok, its not an outback i would go out of my way to go to.

I loved the chicken quesadillas and chicken wings in old bay seasoning! DECOR: Pretty standard, it's after all a chain FOOD: We ordered the chicken quesadilla and I just loved it. I have always had the chicken wings here and it's a very commonly ordered item here; so nothing new. SERVICE: The waiter was very polite and friendly. The food took longer to arrive, say 20 minutes from the time ordered. They left rats running in my stomach! PRICE: I find this place expensive. Probably find the same quality and taste of food elsewhere (non-chain).

FOOD: I really enjoyed my ahi seared tuna salad. The sear was perfect with a thick, tasty crust. The slaw was not made with mayo, but a spicy-mustard-wasabi. I asked for it on the side, but they seemed to forget. I also got the onion soup. It was rather salty, but I am salt-sensitive and I suspect most people would like it. I asked for no cheese on top. My friend's Caesar salad was pretty good. His filet and crab legs with broccoli was all great. The bread was very well done: crispy, light, and not heavy at all with a hint of sweetness. Great portions, prices as expected. ** One REALLY annoying thing was their lack of crab breakers and small forks which made eating the crab legs way, way harder than needed. ** SERVICE: There were not many people there on an early, Sunday evening. Our server was nice and attentive. AMBIANCE: Standard Outback Steakhouse restaurant. The parking lot makes this place super attractive in Canton. RETURN: Absolutely. RECOMMEND: Absolutely.

I'm not much of a fan of reviewing chain establishments but Outback never really fails me. I've never had an issue at getting a table at this location, the turnover is relatively quick, the kitchen is efficient and the staff is friendly. Of course, the free doesn't hurt! But where can you order a 6oz delicious steak, with veggies and a salad for $10? That's almost unheard of... until there was Outback!

We came here with a friend on a Saturday evening, say 8 or so. So prime dinner time. We were seated within 10 minutes, and within 5 minutes we had our drink order taken, and bread on the table. Our waitress after that was pretty slow. We rarely saw her. Our drinks sat on the table empty for some time. This place wasn't exactly busy, either. I can't tell you Outback has superb food. It simply falls flat in the middle. My chicken and pasta dish was good. The steak next to me was also good. But there's nothing original or exciting about eating at Outback. You come here when you want to remind yourself why you avoid chain restaurants.

Outback is a very good popular steakhouse, that has often specials around the Aussie world. My choice dish, includes the steak of your choice, my recommendation is the Victoria Filet. A choice cut of steak, with light to no marbling but is soft to the plate and wood grilled. Pair this with any of their sides and you'll have a excellent meal. Make sure to check their seasonal specials, you likely already have seen their commercials or the info can come by way of the outer layer wrapped around your menu. Over all this location is large and is busy from opening to close. Waits however aren't long and you will be sat in less than 20 minutes even on a packed night.Parking is outside, no valet and no meter fees. There is even a parking garage and a lot but it will be filled most often. The wait staff is amazing, I did observe in my last visit the manager coming out to cook food for a customer to accommodation their needs. Oh yeah, my server wasn't bad at all either, great staff! Full Bar, and Beer with Sam Adams, Budweiser, Bud Lite, and the list also has Aussie beer and you can even make it " bloke size " 22oz ice cold mug of your choice. Also wine is available, and an array of Aussie inspired mixed cocktails.

The food was good, standard for an Outback Steakhouse. The service, however, left much to be desired. We dined on July 4th, which was surprisingly not busy at all. We were seated right away. However, our server Justin W. was clearly distracted from the moment we sat down. When we finished our bread, we asked for more and had to ask 3 times before we got it. It didn't arrive until we were almost finished with our entree. He also failed to do a checkback with us after our food landed on our table (as a former server, I know it should happen within 2 min or after the first few bites). When he did check in, he never actually stopped at our table, but rather asked as he was walking by. We soon realized that he was distracted by these two girls he was talking to. I don't expect stellar service at a place like this, but if you want a decent tip, provide decent service. I'd come here again for the food and cleanliness, but if Justin W. is our server, I'm asking for a different table.

We were seated right away on a Saturday night which is always rare but it was great. Food was good so no complaints there. The service on the other hand was ridiculous. First off the waitress was high on something other than life. Then she took our drink order while kneeling on the floor. We waiting about 10 minutes for our water and bread to come out. When she came to take the food order she sat down in the booth and was scratching her leg. Sanitary. We ordered 2 drinks from the bar, which then took almost 20 mintues to back it back to the table, didnt get them until around the time the entrees were brought out. We ate, food was great. We waited forever to get our take home boxes and the check which should have been brought out together. Our meals had come with dessert but we were to full to eat anymore so we ordered them to go. So we are sitting there with our check waiting for her to come back with the dessert, we literally almost said f it because she took so long to come back. Normally we are not ones to complain but at this point it was ridiculous. So we asked to speak to a manager. By time he came out, our desserts finally arrived. The manager was on something himself and was sympathetic but completely clueless as to how to handle it. Offered us dessert and a round at the bar...but we just wanted to go. Finally he insisted we take a gift card, we agreed. So how long does it take to go in the back and grab one, ten minutes. Then he kneeled down on the floor in mockery, trying to look all concerned, which was crap. Very unprofessional. Anyhow, we got 2 giftcards and a few free appetizer cards which we will not be using at this location. So much for a nice meal out for Mothers Day. Blah.

We were seated immediately but were not greeted by our waitress for about ten min. Manager was pro active and comped us drinks, was super friendly and our waitress ended up being absolutely great. Great date night dinner- Thanks to the great service (Edmond & Rebecca) and delicious food. We will be back to this location soon!

We go to Outback atleast once a month, the food is usually good, once in a while you might have to send wings back to get them cooked alittle more. Most of the time service is great, but a couple of times we've had waiters who are slow, inattentive, rude, and also we've had a waiter who made a disgusted face at the $12 tip we left him. Their desserts and sangria drinks are also delicious.

I don't usually give one star, and in some ways it seems silly to rate a chain restaurant like this, but I was shocked at how bad the food was. My husband ordered a steak, and they did not ask how he wanted it. It came well done and was about 1/4 inch thick. I ordered ribs, which I usually love. They were dry and gross - I didn't finish them (although I did bring them home to my dog, who devoured them). The service was fine and the atmosphere was ok. It was clean! Yes, cleanliness was the best thing this place had going for it...

I enjoy the food at Outback but it does not stand out as a steakhouse should. Steaks are average to slightly above. Bread is hit or miss. It can get a little noisy at this location.

I like the food at Outback. It's nothing particularly special, but it never turns out horrible. I have had mixed feelings about the service here. One time there was a wait and I put my name down. After waiting 45 minutes, I go up to ask how much longer it would be since they said the wait would only be 30 minutes and I saw people that came in after me being seated. So she couldn't find my name on the list. However, I went tonight also (Monday night) and the service was MUCH better. The hostesses were friendly, our waiter was extremely nice and efficient, and the food was not bad.

It's been awhile since I have eaten at an Outback. I started dry-aging my own Angus rib eyes and strips about two years ago and cook them over 700F hardwood charcoal. As such, I am not longer willing to pay the price of a Morton's, Ruth's Chris, or even Capital just to get wet-aged Prime. As my son plays Lacrosse for Loyola, he works up a big appetite after a game (even if, as a Freshman, he didn't actually PLAY a while lot.) He appreciates a hearty meal, so we went as a family tonight. They were ready to serve at 4:00 on a Saturday which was a plus. Free Parking was available right outside the door (another plus.) We were greeted courteously at the door, and given a choice of table or booth (we took booth.) Our waitress was VERY inexperienced (at least at Outback) but her enthusiasm and attention to detail more than made up for it. Orders showed up immediately, and the addictive molasses black bread was cheerfully replenished. She checked back an appropriate 2-3 minutes after entrees were tasted to ensure everything was OK. NOTHING pisses me off more than a waitress who returns at the END of a meal and asks "how WAS everything ??" when it is obviously too late to correct any errors. The chopped salad is basic iceberg, with some crunchy additions like almonds and sweetness (dried cranberries added.) It was also available as a wedge (with very acceptable blue cheese dressing.) Normally we go for more exotic greens, but the crunchy hyper-chilled iceberg was just right for that steakhouse mojo. Something new to Outback (at least this location) is a choice of seared or wood-fired foods. This goes for steaks, chicken, pork chops and seafood. While the specialty at Outback (the very affordable sirloin) is probably better seared (as is a filet) wood firing is the way to go with a rib eye (which wife and I both ordered, 10oz and 14 oz respectively.) Daughter went with the herbed roasted prime rib (which was also available "finished over wood fire" which turned out to be a very nice touch. Hungry son went for the 22-oz Porterhouse. The steaks, though wet-aged (27 days) were USDA Choice and it showed, They were extremely tender and well marbled with minimal gristle. Against my better judgement (cardiac wise) I ended up eating most of the creamy near-rendered fat. Streaks were done EXACTLY as ordered (medium rare) not a degree too rare nor too well. Sides were OK . Staying with baked potatoes, baked sweet potatoes etc. makes it hard to go wrong. In the end, it was a very pleasant un-stuffy steakhouse experience far superior than I recall from Outback excursions of a few years ago. Certainly, it is not Morton's or Capital Grill, but if I were to compare it to a Fleming's or Sullivan's on food and service (but not ambiance) I would suggest it was every bit as good if not better for half the price. I will still continue to get my dry-aged steak on in my backyard, but having avoided ALL steakhouses as a genre for the past few years, I guess I missed some maturing that Outback has undergone. For a Moderately priced meal ( a little over $100 for four including my two Foster's drafts) this was quite satisfying. Now that they appear to have mastered cooking over real oak fire, I am anxious to see what they do with pork and seafood.

The food here is what you expect. The cheese fries with the ranch sauce were really good. I got the Outback sirloin, which was OK- meat tasted normal with some spices. My fiancee got the ribeye which tasted somewhat similar to the sirloin but had some more good tasty fat with the sweet baked potato which was delicious- nice cinnamon sugar with a huge scoop of whipped butter

If you are looking for an outstanding steak, this may not be the place for you. Don't get me wrong, you can surely have a good dinner and there are many options. But, the steak is not prime meat. I do recommend the clam chowder which is nicely seasoned. Avoid the outback special as it tends to have grizzle.

Typically this is a Thursday spot before 6pm. The happy hour is decent - includes the Blooming Onion, Alice Springs Quesadilla, Spinach Artichoke Flatbread, and a couple others for $5... I would highly recommend the quesadilla. We only ended up getting the loaded fries (also $5) but were a bit too greasy for my taste although they weren't bad. One bad thing is that the Tall beers used to be $3.00 but are now $4.00... The bartender was cool and extremely attentive so there was basically no wait time for drinks.
