I'm unsure why this place only has 2.5 stars on Yelp. I have ordered from here several times, and can't complain. It's actually my favorite Chinese take out place in Baltimore. I usually order on Eat 24, and they are here within in 30-45 minutes, so I just give myself time. My typical order is always: hot and sour soup, chicken and broccoli, general tso's combination platter (pork fried rice & egg roll included), and steamed dumplings. Around $27 bucks. yum yum yum yum yum yum. That's all.

This place doesn't really stand out in a sea of brown sauce Chinese joints in Baltimore, but that might not be a bad thing. Overall prices are in line with the area Chinese take out. The portions were a decently large size which was nice. The food itself was okay, typical Americanized Chinese food. The food was ready timely and as ordered. The cheesesteak eggrolls sound like something I need to try. Overall, I'll be back for some late night Chinese cravings.

A lot of Chinese Food Restaurants boast about a dish or have #1 in their title, this is legit the best Chinese food you are going to get in Baltimore. North, East, South or West side O-Wok (as I like to call it) takes the cake. Only dish I've ever had that wasn't phenomenal is the Egg Foo Young. It taste great but, sometimes the patties are a little burned. Now this isn't the spot you want to take your lady and have an intimate meal, I highly advise carry out. The if you are a fan of General Tso's Or Orange Chicken you will be in heaven. I lived on the East & West side worked in Sourh Baltimore, went to school Downtown and Uptown and this is hands down the best Chinese food you can find. The pricrs are low as well. Oriental Wok also have a partt platte option. Not promoted but just ask. I love this joint. Never had a problem. Try em out.

Ordered for delivery. Food came right on time. I ordered a traditional variety of dishes. The Egg Drop soup was perfect in flavor and consistency. The fried items of Egg Roll & Crab Rangoon were excellent. They were perfectly cooked and NOT greasy at all. I am putting this place on my regular rotation!

I've ordered delivery from here about half a dozen times and every time, I've been impressed with the taste, quality, and quantity. Add the online menu for easy no-mistakes ordering and you have a winner. This is the best Chinese carryout that I've had since I've moved to Baltimore. It seems that good authentic Chinese food is not in high demand in good ol B'more. A nice selection of dishes. Not quite a 5-star but close...minus small points for inconsistent delivery times. The product is good enough that I don't order Chinese takeout from anywhere else now.

It took almost two hours for an online delivery to arrive. The food was cold and poorly prepared. Also, the portions were very small and the quantity in no way made up for the lack of quality. When the sub-par food arrived two hours late, there were two other people riding with the delivery man in his car yelling out the window.

Mediocre food+Horrible service+Near endless wait times = No thanks. Took them 3 hours and four phone calls to even get food to my house. They lied on the phone about what was going on with my order -- told me it left their restaurant at 8:20-8:25 and it didn't actually arrive until 10:15, but somehow it was still warm! Hmm. I don't do business with incompetent liars and I recommend you save yourself the head and stomach aches and follow suit.

I've ordered a few times, but tonight is the last. These folks take no pride in their business. The food delivered was completely inedible. The fried rice tasted like it was made a month ago and reheated over & over. It didn't even look like rice. It had the consistency of dirt. They may seem harsh, but it is 100% true. The rice was so over processed it had disintegrated. The chicken was slimy. Never again!

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY ONLINE FROM THIS PLACE. I ordered because it was an option on Seamless stating 30-45 minutes. Over an hour later, I called and they said 5 more minutes. When I called to check status for the third time, they argued with me on timing and spoke over me. Awful timing and even worse customer service.

This is the worst China food I've had in Baltimore to date. The food simply tastes terrible. The chicken has a weird gamey taste to it, which is mind blowing because its fucking chicken. The sauces they use for seasoning are miserable. The egg rolls are dry. The baby corn bursts with a strange, watery, bad tasting fluid when you bit into it. I will say that its good for satisfying hunger, because it completely takes away your appetite as soon as you begin to eat. Avoid at all costs, there is no saving this food. Improvement can't even be expected, its too far gone.

. I wouldn't say they have the best food in the world but for Baltimore Chinese it's as good as it's going to get . For the price and the amount you get its a winner in my book . They deliver as well

Oriental Wok meets all of our Chinese food needs: 1. Food is decent (Tung Ting Shrimp is amazing) 2. Free delivery 3. You can order online - love not having to interact with a human, or read my credit card out loud (annoying) 4. Cheap 5. Each dish provides 5+ servings Bonus points: 6. Reusable plastic containers - minimizes fridge spillage, gives me throwaway tupperware to use for people who I don't trust with the stuff I buy. 7. Half the time, they throw in a free order of egg rolls. Is this food gourmet? No. However, for good, affordable food you can order while sitting on your couch, it's perfect.

I wasn't too impressed--the food was pretty greasy and not too flavorful. The best part about Oriental Wok is that they deliver.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
