Hood fried chicken and lake trout joint on North Avenue (not the yuppy strip part). NYFC is a hood chain, sure, but I really like their julienne fries. There's a nice reddish spice herb mix on the chicken too. Probably paprika, onion powder, etc. Good crispy skin. Can't complain. Had a conversation about workout regimens with a dude waiting for his chicken box. When it's 1am and you're hungry it's either here or the Bell. I'll take NYFC over Yo Quiero Fake Food any night.
