Swung by this place for dinner. Sat outside at one of their three outdoor tables. Not a bad place to eat when there's decent weather. I got the California salad, as is, and enjoyed it. The cilantro dressing is flavorful and not heavy. The salad however was pretty small, and not quite satisfying. Feeling a little bit hungry still, and went back and got a build your own soup. I got about half of condiments that were available for a more hearty meal. I ended up putting tomato soup on top, I think I'll go with a broth next time. About halfway through I was satisfied, but I still finished the second salad/soup. Overall a pretty good experience. I'll be back. I'd recommend a build your own, or else risk getting a skimpy salad.

Third time I've been back to Nalley Fresh since it opened. I'm addicted! I love that you can basically customize anything without feeling unhealthy. I have had the noodle bowl and the brown rice bowl and both were amazing. You don't think some of these ingredients would work, but they do! The sauces and broths really complete the whole dish. I've also had the chicken enchilada soup and it's one of the best I've had in awhile. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I like that they have a frequent diners club too. So glad this place is in Canton and really hopeful that it takes off and becomes a mainstay here. We need this!

Customozable salad is excellent. The wraps tasty and filling, my friend got a broth bowl that was so big he couldn't finish it. Great healthy place to go for lunch or dinner. It's inexpensive and the staff is super friendly.

Salads are delicious! Very fresh ingredients and many are locally sourced. Also have gotten order up delivery sweet potato bowl which was yummy. Best part about this place is the staff- everyone is extremely friendly. Tonight a few friends and I sat there munching on the giant salads while waiting out the thunderstorm and we tried at least 10 of the dressings/sauces. They were very sweet even when we continued to go up and ask for new types- even suggesting their own favorites (asian and cilantro for the win). Will definitely become a frequent customer here.

Not a fan of this style--the choice between either wrap or bowl. However, this could be a good option for someone looking to have a healthy lunch and get it quickly.

Nalley Fresh is my new go-to spot for a quick dinner after work or on the weekend. I first tried the noodle bowl, which is the most confusing but delicious meal I've ever had. I'm sure I'll miss an ingredient or two here, but the noodle bowl has spinach, carrots, onions, mushrooms, artichoke, provolone and parmesan cheese, pumpkin seeds, tomatoes, alfredo sauce and chicken broth, and noodles (of course). I thought there was no way it would be tasty, but I loved it! On my return trips I've tried the fiesta salad, which is pretty similar to a taco salad, and the harvest salad, a more savory-sweet combination. Both were excellent! Thanks to my new found addiction to Nalley Fresh, my vegetable intake has increased significantly! Now, the food here is not cheap - 9 dollars for just a salad or bowl (so maybe I should just learn to make my own salads), but the portion sizes are substantial and the ingredients are very fresh. The service is also only ok. I've never had to wait in line, but folks always seem a little confused about the ingredients in each salad or bowl. Nonetheless, still a great place for lunch or dinner in the Canton area!

I can't get enough of Nalley Fresh. I've been for lunch probably 10 times since I discovered it two weeks ago. This location on Boston St. is my favorite of the ones I've tried (Boston St., Towson, and Timonium). They're salads are super fresh, there are endless combinations, and it's very affordable. I have yet to have an unpleasant interaction with an employee. I haven't even gotten around to trying a bowl or a wrap yet because I'm enjoying my salads so much, but my boyfriend always gets a wrap when we go, and he loves that too!

FOOD: For $13.00 I expected bigger portions. I got the soup bowl. I asked for no noodles, but at the end of the line there was **barely anything in the bowl**. LITERALLY, 1/2 the bowl was filled. I had to mention this as I was paying so much for the meal.(By the way, I also got the salmon which was $3 extra dollars... that seemed pricey to me.) The cashier offered to add more, but it seemed cumbersome to go through the line again during a busy time. The only reason this place got 4 stars as the food did taste fresh. *** Hint the lady at the check-out stated that I could have one spoon of anything for free... too bad no one mentioned that as I was going through the line! SERVICE: I came at a busy time on a Sat afternoon. They people behind the counter seemed pressed to move on. They were nice though. AMBIANCE: Think Chipotle or Panera. Parking easy: free lot. Plenty of spots to sit inside. RETURN: Given the speed, the freshness, and being the only "fast food" salad option, and on my way home, yes I'll probably be back over and over. It's like if the Burger King is on your corner, you end up going just because it is close and convenient... even if you don't like it! RECOMMEND: Fresh food, quick, healthy, definitely go but make sure you DON'T get stiffed on the portion.

I think next time I need to sample a rice or noddle bowl---I got the Californian wrap and wasn't really blown away by it. My coworker did a custom bowl and she enjoyed it.

The salads here are absolutely fantastic. They're massive, fresh, you get an unlimited number of toppings(!), and it will only cost you less than $10. Plus you get a piece of seeded bread with it. Did I mention that the topping selection is huge? They have everything from wheatberries to chunks of sweet potato to edamame. I can't think of anything that I'd want in my salad that they don't have. I usually do arugula and spinach mixed with grilled chicken as my protein choice. Then I choose feta, cucumbers, broccoli, carrots, chick peas, wheatberries, sweet potatoes, radish, and green apples. Yum! I'm so happy they opened one in canton. They also have outdoor seating.

Ok. I don't give many 5 star reviews. But this place was thebomb.com It's kinda like chipotle or subway.., made to order salads, wraps, and bowls. The ingredients were so fresh and plentiful. I had the 'healthy wrap' and even though it was named healthy it was oh so good!!! Lots of spinach, beets, seeds, tomatoes, bean sprouts, lime juice, and more. Yumm yumm yumm!!! This is my new spot for a quick lunch!!!

If you haven't heard of Nalley Fresh by now, you must be living under a rock. Nalley Fresh is a fast-causal salad spot that has a few locations popping up all over the city. I frequent the location on Pratt street for lunch at work, or I have it delivered via OrderUP, but my roommate hadn't experienced the wonderful salads that I have been raving about for weeks so for dinner we met at the location in Canton. If you're torn between the downtown location and Canton, the location in Canton has parking. Nalley Fresh is set up similar to Chipotle, you walk up to a counter, are given a few options, and you pick which sounds best to you. The three base options at Nalley Fresh are salad, bowl, and a wrap. My rommate decided to order a bowl which came with a rice base, then she added grilled chicken and peppers. With the bowl you have the option to top it with broth and turn it into a soup, she asked for a small amount of chicken broth, but not enough to make this a soup. I know the best part of Nalley Fresh is the salad. Over a bed of lettuce I picked out my favorite add-ons, they include: buffalo chicken, purple slaw, mushrooms, onions, avocado, and my choice of dressing. Because I've customized the salad to my liking, there's really no reason for me to not love what I've created. Even better, everything is extremely fresh. This is probably one of the best salads I've had in Baltimore. If you're looking for fresh ingredients and complete customization, head over to Nalley Fresh in Canton, you'll probably declare it one of the best salads too.

Ok What can be said about the o' wonderful Nalley Fresh that hasn't been said. Not sure but Im going to give my thoughts. I personally always stick to building my own ... its much easier especially if you are not some the "speciality items ", most times as Im reading I thinking "oh that sounds good minus artichokes and the roasted beets oh and minus the wheat berry and chick peas... and minus red quinoa" ahhhaha at that point im left with lettuce and meat. So I just make my own. Now lets talk about the important stuff. My fave protiens are buffalo chicken, pork bang bang, rosemary beef, rotisserie chicken and the blacken chicken. And the selections of salad leaf/lettuce type is decent. Also the toppings are awesome!!! Plenty of options for the meat lovers, grain lovers, and veggie lovers. Something for everyone Now you can make your own salad, wrap or bowl ( rice or noddle) for $8.50, which is great. But if you are going for a cheap lunch as in under $10.00 stop there. If you add a drink, chips or cookies you are easily over $12.00. My hubby and I ordered 2 build your own salads (my fave base is spring mix) , he also got chips and drinks while I was still building my salad. Total was $25.00. This is just a fair warning to anyone who maybe out trying to stretch their dollas. Really you dont need the extra... the servings are huge and you get a piece of tasty 7 grain bread. So cut the extras and cut a cup of water and you be just under $10 for lunch. And because the servings are so huge you could possibly have a little for later. Also save time order online, if you are in a rush. a few of them offer deliver check online to see which ones. Ive been to several locations and Canton is my fave, always efficient and friendly

I've heard that Nalley Fresh is the new Cat's Meow, and during a Yelp event last year, I got to sample something from their menu. I don't remember what it was, except that I remember thinking, "well, this seems weird, but it's delicious." After having lunch there I was left with sort of the same thought....weird, but good. I met friends and got there early. I must have read their menu 10 times, wondering, "well that seems weird...but it must be good if they have that as a set bowl where all I need to pick is my protein." I ended up with the brown rice bowl: Your choice of protein with black beans, tomatoes, scallions, toasted sunflower seeds, mushrooms, chickpeas, corn, Parmesan & mixed greens with Nalley's cilantro vinaigrette, tomato & chicken broth ($8.50). Weird. But good. I think next time I'll do the "make my own" salad option.

  • Rebecca S.

Very good salads, and cheaper and more reasonable than places like Chop't, although they don't finely chop up the salads the way that Chop't would. The blackened chicken is really tasty in a salad, and there are tons of options for toss-ins. This is a quick, good, healthy (?) lunch option. Definitely a fan.

One of the few fast food casual restaurants where you can eat vegan or vegetarian, love your meal, be completely stuffed and still have leftovers! I love the freshness of their ingredients.. So glad this placed opened up in walking distance from me!

what is there not to love, the salads are great and fresh! I could probably eat here all day everyday. I love that you can get whatever on them! I also love that they have already made salad combinations, which are fabulous together! it was great, I love the side of bread :) I wish there were more of these around!

I have been to Nalley Fresh too many times to want to count... I have earned several free meals by how frequently I have visited. But, I think I am done. What pushed me over the edge is their sign saying that due to the rise in the cost of eggs they will no longer be offering hard boiled eggs as a topping. This is emblematic of something that has been bothering me for a while... they are so stingy with the ingredient toppings. When I come I typically do an express (also known as "make your own") salad. As I say which toppings to put on, they put a tiny teaspoon full on my salad. Even if I ask for extra they add only a tiny teaspoon more. Do the math. For my bowl full of ramen and my teaspoon full of tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, mushrooms, etc.... the cost of the salad is minimal. I do like romaine lettuce, but I also LOVE vegetables so please, for the love of god, put a larger helping of whatever I select in my salad. So... to the eggs. Remember the teaspoon concept. So they put a teaspoon in a salad that costs $9.00. You can probably get 3 teaspoons out of one egg. A dozen eggs let's say at $4.00, divided by 12 is $.33. Thirty three cents of an egg, and you put (okay let's be generous here) half an egg in there. Watch out profit margins... the sky is falling... that costs you all of $.16. Yes, I am done. I'm sorry too, because I really like the concept. But you can't be so focused on the bottom line that you do not give people the appropriate amount of toppings on a salad. Oh, and if you really wanted to make money, why don't you use local produce? Zahradka farms grows much of what you offer and it's much cheaper than going through the Cisco-type food service.... tastes much better too. Good bye, Nalley Fresh.

No. They are terrible. They are trying to be like a chipotle that does salads but it isn't working. No one who works there seems to know what is happening or anything about the food they are selling. Their falafel topping is so bad that my dog wouldn't even eat it. It tasted like a big ball of cardamom. Totally gross and wrong. It's over-priced, frustrating, and not worth it.

Thank God a Nalley Fresh has opened in Canton. There are 2 things here that make this location a little better than their downtown location, which I frequent often. This place has ample seating AND they are open late with hours on the weekend. Boom. Now, my only salad options does not have to be Harris Teeter and Chipotle's salad bowl. You can come here and get the rice bowl, wrap or my favorite, the salad. And trust me this is not your mom's salad. This is an enormous salad, probably more than necessary. The options here are limitless between the different proteins you start with, to the dressings you want to top that bohemoth of a salad with. Enjoy! Be healthy....or not. But you will eat well here either way!

  • Logan S.

Food is amazing, service is the pits. You walk in and the employees act disappointed that they have to serve customers. The concept and food is great but they need better management. Nobody is friendly, you don't get that warm "hello welcome to _____" when you walk in. One time I got the sweet potatoes and got a huge ball of hair in it, but I will chalk that up as a mulligan. The service is the type where you walk into an establishment and the employee does not saying anything like "what can I get for you?" but just stands there waiting for you to start. The service needs to improve for sure.

I've been waiting for Nalley Fresh to open in Canton for a long time and I am so glad they are open now. I love the option of getting a bowl of fresh, healthy ingredients for less than $10. I like their broth bowl which sounds a bit strange but delicious. I am not a big fan of salad dressing so a scoop of broth adds enough flavor. The portion at this location is not as generous as the one in downtown but still a great deal for what you are getting. I am waiting for SweetGreen to open in Baltimore and this is as close as it would get.

  • Tunaidi A.

I love Nalley Fresh, and I'm glad this location just opened. I'm even more ecstatic that it's also open on weekends! The "Fresh" part of the franchise name definitely rings loud and clear through their fresh offerings of quality ingredients. I'm definitely more of a fan of the bowls than anything else, and the customizing option is a winner if you're adventurous. There are more varieties of proteins, veggies, and other options available at Nalley Fresh than at any other joint following the Chipotle concept.

  • Embry G.

Above and beyond! I've been to two other Nalley Fresh locations (Hunt Valley and Timonium) and this one seemed to have the best customer service of all! The manager or owner of the location made sure each customer was happy and understood the concept of ordering. Very pleased with my dinner and overall experience!! Thank you!

  • Jocelyn O.

I love all the fresh ingredients that Nalley Fresh offers. There are so many different options, that it is a tad overwhelming at first. I'd suggest starting with one of their suggestions like the Noodle Bowl and branch out from there. It's also nice because the staff is willing to go over the menu with you if you have questions.

We frequent this place at least once a week between my husband and me. This concept is build your own salad with very fresh ingredients. This is a great place for lunch or a casual dinner. One price for as many toppings as you can handle. The price does vary based on the protein chosen but there is a good selection of the standard price proteins. The proteins they use are also inventive and add more flavor than the usual bland grilled chicken. My go-to is the buffalo chicken which is chunks of chicken breasts diced up and tossed in buffalo sauce. They also incorporate some amazing cooked ingredients too such as roasted beets, roasted sweet potatoes and roasted mushrooms which are my favorites. The vibe of this place is modern and has a rustic feel to it. They also have a few tables for outdoor seating in a great spot for people watching. I take one star away for the service. The staff could be a bit friendlier and more helpful. For example when I've gone they have not had certain items out and I'd have to ask for them. They also used to ask you if you wanted bread and now they don't, so sometimes I forget and get bummed out that I didn't get a piece. Personally, I think their bread is awesome. I also find it interesting that they have all of their storage out in the open for their customers to look at but I assume it's due to lack of space.

    (4)
  • Matthew L.

This is a twice a week kind of place. Healthy options in Canton were limited, so this is a welcome addition. I love the salads. If you are daring add a ladle of broth instead of dressing. It sounds like it would be gross, but it is delicious.
