This place is beautiful and the service is excellent. While dining on the delectable entrees take time out to admire the beautifully painted columns and custom artwork on the walls. The chicken tikka marsala is to fragrant and the rice is perfect. The fresh bread is so warm and soft. I cant wait to try the place for lunch.

Reliably tasty, and the price is right!

Just picked up an order for take out. I got the chicken tikka masala and it's really fantastic food! and the customer service was top notch. The gentleman offered me an iced mango juice while i waited for my order. I don't live in Baltimore, but if I ever come back, I would definitely try this place again. The lack of a 5 star rating is due to the fact that he forgot to pack some silverware for me in my order. Other than that detail, they're great.

Service was as good as I've ever had anywhere - they were extremely attentive. Buffet was well-labeled, well-stocked and tasted great! I'd go back without a second thought.

$7.95 Lunch Buffet in Lexington Market! I love this Indian restaurant because it's close to work and the food and service are great. My lunch breaks don't usually allow me enough time to sit down and eat at a restaurant, so it's great they Memsahib offers carry-out for the lunch buffet. If you ask for carry out, they'll give you one of those clamshell containers to fill to the brim and make up fresh naan for you. The selection of food for the buffet isn't huge, but there's definitely enough variety to keep you from getting bored. I really enjoy their butter chicken as well as their aloo gobi (potato and cauliflower). If you do choose to eat in the restaurant, be prepared to be subjected to the same Bollywood film being projected on a large screen every time. But hey, that's part of the charm of Memsahib. One complaint I do have is that the restaurant seems to hold a lot of private functions. Either that or I have just been unfortunate enough to crave Indian food on a couple of those occasions when the restaurant did close for a private party. But other than that you really can't beat a decent Indian meal for eight bucks.

  • David D.

Lunch buffet was delicious and well priced. They even made me an off-menu Salt Lassi upon request. Decor and music were bright and fun yet relaxed and comfortable. Only complaint is that the naan could have been kept warmer.

I used to go to The Mango Grove when I worked in Columbia, MD. Imagine my surprise when I found out about this fantastic Indian lunch buffet just a few minutes walk from my office in downtown Baltimore!! My office has made trips to The Ambassador and it is my opinion that Mem Sahib has better tasting food and a wider variety. And you cannot beat the price either. It's half of what you pay at The Ambassador and a few $$$ cheaper than The Mango Grove. We had our water and iced tea glasses refilled regularly and quickly, too.

Absolutely outstanding lunch buffet. Service was great and the food was very fresh and hot, with many options, and the buffet price was completely reasonable. It is worth it to get through the sketchy area around Lexington Market to have lunch here. You can take the metro to the Lexington Market stop and Mem Sahib is only about 2 block away. I even forgot my work badge at the restaurant and they emailed me to tell me they had it. Very great service and can't wait to go back and I'm looking forward to trying the dinner menu as well.

This place is fun! Just plain delicious Indian fare-- while nothing is too extraordinary I am always satisfied. Tons of vegetarian offerings. And it's an $8.95 buffet, what's not to like? My favorite dish has been their spiced okra. If your company is boring, turn to the screens and watch a Bollywood film, or ponder strange art on the walls. It's not really in Lexington Market; enter on Eutaw street.

  • Emily P.

For a $8.95 buffet, their tiki masala paired with naan is well worth it. Owners are pleasant and friendly as well the service here. Like others have noted, the only down side is that the place surrounding the restaurant can be dangerous.

FANTASTIC! I was in Baltimore for a math teachers conference and stopped in for dinner with my colleagues. We were forewarned that the service would be slow at first because they were trying to take care of a large crowd of folks on their way to the theatre. Service was slow at first-- in fact, practically non-existent. However, once the theatre-goers cleared out, the service was the best I've ever experienced. The menu was fixed (and very reasonably priced for the quality at $21 per person). It included an appetizer, an entree, dessert, and chai. I sampled a spicy chicken and spinach dish as my entree while my colleagues tried the chicken tiki massala. We all agreed that the food was delicious. Our entrees came with generous helpings of naan, fresh from the oven. In fact, all of the food was cooked to order. The portions were also large enough for us to have leftovers for lunch the following day (rather than having to purchase excessively expensive conference food!). It was a fabulous experience.

I've been here once before for the lunch buffet and found everything I had to be tasty and fresh. Inside the restaurant looks pretty nice and the service is good although not that friendly. I think the only bad thing you can say about this place is that it's located in the side of Lexington Market, so during the day you definitely get a lot of that sketch element but such is the beautiful city of Baltimore.

I think I might be a little biased to indian food but there's really nothing that beats an indian lunch buffet and for $7.95, it is one of the best deals you can find. This place also has samosas along with the usual naan, chicken marsala, tandoori chicken, chickpeas and some vegetable dish. The samosas was what made this place better than some of the other buffets I've had and the chicken marsala was pretty good too. It's located inside lexington market but the inside is nicer than you would expect. The chairs are comfortable and they have soothing bollywood music.

All you can eat lunch buffet for $7.95. Three course dinner for $20. If those prices don't convince you to try Mem Sahib, maybe this will. Not only are the prices reasonable (cheap even), the food is some of the best Indian that I've had in Baltimore. Their butter chicken and lamb saag are my favorites. Ron Tuli, the proprietor, is excellent and will ensure that you are completely satisfied. On one occasion, he brought beer for my group on the house. I was so full, I could barely get it down. I had to finish it, as I didn't want to rude by refusing his kindness. Being near my work, my colleagues and I often enjoy a lunch break here. Unfortunately, not much work gets done after lunch, as we're usually stuffed to the point where we need to be rolled out of the restaurant. If I have to rave about one thing at Mem Sahib, it would be the kheer. It rocks. Not matter how much I've eaten, the kheer is a must. Get it, you won't be disappointed.

Went here for lunch while working downtown. It was empty. Its located in the ghetto. But the food was delicious and the staff courteous. For the lunch buffet, which was cheap, this was excellent. And the decor inside is so nice... Shocking that its located in the ghetto!!!!

Great little Indian buffet. A little lacking in surprises. Just your normal Indian buffet which is actually saying a lot if you like Indian good like me. On a side note, it took forever for me to get my water refilled and that is a huge pet peave for me.

  • Stephanie B.

I have been back here for the lunch buffet several times in the past year, and it is excellent. They have a very nice selection and very good food. I'm guessing this is the best Indian Buffet you're going to find in Baltimore. ...Just leave my lunch companion at work... I wish I could shake that guy...

Went during lunch. Room was airy and comfortable. Food was alright and consistant. Nothing special, dirth of chutneys. Wouldn't return, there's better options

A lot of the other reviews have been for lunch and, while I'm sure that's great, I've only eaten here for dinner. Dinner is always a fixed-price, three course meal consisting of an appetizer, entree, and dessert. The restaurant always offers a wide array of both vegetarian and meat dishes to choose from, including "staple" Indian dishes you might find in other restaurants. The difference, though, is in the quality. The food is fantastic. Delicious samosas, great entrees, and the dessert (kheer and chai) is always great. Servings are more than ample and will provide a great left-over lunch the next day. The staff is very attentive and the ambiance is great (bright colors, Indian decor, and streaming Bollywood tunes and videos). While some people may be turned off by the fixed-price dinner, I feel that--dollar for dollar--it's one of the best deals in town. $20 for a three-course meal is a steal given the quality of the food. $7.95 for an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet isn't bad, either. Get over the fact that it's located in Lexington Market and give it a try. It's definitely worth it.

Mem Sahib is easily one of my all-time favorite places to eat. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is friendly and helpful. All of that, and the price is far better than what you might call fair. You owe it to yourself to try this place.

  • Nate L.

Enh. It will do in a pinch and is nicer than some of the Lexington Market options BUT the food is a bit lacking. Maybe I'm spoiled by eating on Devon avenue in Chicago for years and years, but as much as I wanted to like it, the food just wasn't that good. It wasn't outright bad, just not good either. C'mon, Baltimore, you can do better.

I've been looking for a good Indian buffet here in Maryland and I tell you, it is hard to find until I came for lunch at this place recommended by a friend. The location is quite uhhmm..well, it's by Lexington Market. The food on the other hand, is very good. Chicken tandoori here is soft and moist unlike other's where the chicken meat was cooked to its ultimate dryness. Their chicken tikka masala is delish along with the garbanzo beans' dish (I'm not sure about the name of this dish). The naan bread is fresh and soft consistency. Once in a while they would have lamb curry and though not quite my favorite, I'd say it is of the average taste (I found a good one in northern California). Their vegetable samosas are yummy especially when eaten with the tamarind chutney/sauce over it. The only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is because they are missing the point of why I go to an Indian restaurant, for gulabjamun and chai tea. All other Indian restaurants I've been to (in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Toronto), gulabjamun is part of the dessert buffet. I saw the owner today and he said that gulabjamun will be added to their menu --- when that happens and if their gulabjamun has the right consistency, this restaurant will have a 5 star on my list (price and food selection and taste)

Great Indian buffet place right in Lexington Market. It's this interesting mutli-level restaurant complete with Indian cushions, paintings and Bollywood videos playing on the walls. They have a variety of dishes for the lunch buffet, vegetable samosas, fish curry, chicken tikka masala, cauliflower and potatoes, spinach and cheese, and a few other things. I thought the chicken tikka masala was not that great, they got tid bits of chicken and some where blackened and inedible. Instead of the large chunks, I had to pick through it to find the edible pieces. Good service though, and filling if you're hungry!

Best Indian buffet in Baltimore. Lots of vegetarian options and really cool decor. I wish they were open on weekends!

  • Kaylee H.

The food is really good overall. I have been coming here a couple times a year for the past 5 years, and it has been pretty consistent. The mango lassi is really good, the samosas, and the fish curry are my favorites. The price is really good for what you're getting. One thing that bothers me is that the soap is weird and watered down in the restrooms. It really makes me wonder if i am washing my hands with dirty water mixed with a tiny bit of soap.

Went for the lunch buffet with a party of 9. The restaurant is colorfully decorated and the ambience transports you to a place beyond Lexington Market and Baltimore. The seats had comfy cushions. Food was good, and the waiter attentive. Not exceedingly amazing but definitely worth $12 for the quality and all-you-can eat buffet. I'll be back for sure.

I am always conflicted about buffet-style foods and setting because I know it is not representative of what the restaurant and its chefs are capable of. Not the tastiest Indian food that I have had - I do wonder if it would have been tastier if the dishes were ordered separately. However, there is quite a variety and they do refill frequently. The servers are very pleasant and courteous and quick!

We went there for the lunch buffet and the food was very good. There was a nice selection of chicken and vegetarian dishes, very fresh naan, and good dessert options. It was $10.75 per person, and mid-day on Friday there just enough people for the place to se full without a long line for the food.

    (4)
  • Helen C.

I had no idea there was an Indian restaurant right next to Lexington Market. A group of friends and I met here for buffet lunch last Friday. The place was packed! Their food was delicious, although I didn't try that many things because I was scared they would be spicy. The chana masala and chicken tikka masala were both very good, and not spicy. They had the problem out running out of food and not replenishing it quickly enough. The buffet was $10.85 per person, pretty typical. I ordered a mango lassi which was quite good. The interior is really interesting and there are different levels to the restaurant which is kind of cool.

I've been to dozens, if not hundreds I'd Indian restaurants in my life and I have never enjoyed my experience more than at this place. The food is beyond amazing, our waiter was very nice (I usually complain about waiters) and the atmosphere added to the experience. The next time I pass through Baltimore, I will go out of my way to return. Note: I was there for their three-course dinner.

  • Nisha G.

My co-workers and I always go here when we go out for lunch together. Just keep in mind that Friday lunch hours are going to be packed with big groups primarily from UMB and neighboring facilities. The location is nice, convenient and it doesn't enter into the market. All their selections are pretty good and they refresh them regularly (probably since they go so fast). I wish they changed up the menu more frequently, but unfortunately Indian buffets usually don't. Service can be kind of slow since you're really just ordering drinks but there have been times where we don't get water until we've already finished half of our first servings. They're not a fans of taking credit cards and sometimes you can only split up to four CCs.

  • Derek I.

Yo, this place is NOT legit! Seriously, it may be one of the cheaper Indian buffets in the area but there is a reason. The food is not fresh and tastes like it has been sitting out for hours, the tandoori chicken is bland, the saag paneer (spinach) tastes like mush, and other dishes are just lacking the right spices. Seriously, I don't understand the people who give this place the same star count as Royal Taj?! Compare this to Royal Taj, and even Mughal Gardens for that manner and you will know why I am rightly harsh on this place.

Showed up for lunch at 1:45 pm and was worried I was so late for lunch, but not to worry... The restaurant smelled amazing. All the dishes were available and everything was still hot. Highlight of the meal was the goat curry. ($10.95 for lunch buffet or $7.50/lb for carry-out)

    (4)
  • Jared J.

Probably the second best Indian lunch buffet that I have been to in Baltimore. The location is convenient to the University of Maryland-Baltimore, the light rail, and the metro train. Price is $10 ($7.50 per pound for carry-out), definitely par for the course. On to the food: the samosas were good, but have a bit too much bread (I would like to see more filling and less breading). The channa masala, which I don't believe I've ever eaten before, was good too. Both the tandoori and tikka masala chicken dishes were delicious. The tikka masala was the perfect consistency and made for good dipping with the samosas. On the issue of dipping, the naan was crispy, but the raita was refreshingly spicy. I realize that some people like crispy naan, but I prefer it to be on the softer side for easier dipping. Gripes: The fish curry was flavorless and cold; I couldn't eat more than one bite. Also, Mem Sahib did not provide tea during the lunch buffet (gotta have my mid-day tea!). As I usually do, I went with my friend from Punjab. He wanted me to note on my Yelp review that he found Mem Sahib's decor to be tacky, specifically, the persian rugs draped over railings and colorful pillows on every seat. Bottomline: Good, but not great, Indian lunch buffet.

Lunch buffet for $10 FTW. Delicious food with plenty of veggie options.Food is always warm and plenty. Plus, there's samosas YUMMMM! Staff is friendly and efficient. You should definitely stop by! Oh and the rice pudding is delicious!! Enjoy!

Disregard the dowdy exterior. It's an admirably brilliant interior adorned in plush pillows, colorful carpets, bright walls, painted pillars, glyphs, hookahs, and high ceilings. Debate the "wait to be seated" sign since I saw regulars rush right in ravaging the buffet. Don't dawdle awaiting a waiter. He'll catch up to you soon enough since he's suffering solo during a loaded lunch time crush. Out of a dandy display of 10 buffet items I tried the Vegetable Samosas and their golden brown, flaky, puffed crust. Overall, nice, but rubbery edges undermined. My Chicken Tiki Masala's meat was dry and it's sauce a tad tepid on spice. My Palak Paneer perfected a smooth cheesiness in a creamy spinach curry, but also missed the spice boat as it lacked any big bang of garlic, chile pepper, and/or ginger. My Tandori Chicken had an exceptionally tasty char and moist meat. But not even a moderate piquancy. My Kheer came with copious cuts of almond slivers. Very cool, creamy, sweet, and rich. My Mango Soda fully satisfied. It's not odd an Indian buffet tweaks down the spice to lukewarm playing to mass appeal. The menu's where one's usually afforded spicing to order. Interestingly, service was initially lukewarm as well, but got warmer and more vibrant. So, disregard the $7.95 buffet price still listed on their website. It's $8.95. A fairly satisfying buffet with minor misses. And lukewarm spicing seems de rigueur for many area buffets. I didn't dislike my meal. But I can't say I loved it. Maybe I just can't disregard the fact that I felt kind of lukewarm about it.

Yo this place is legit. AYCE indian food for $8 at lunch?! How can you beat that deal? And the food is the best indian food i've ever had. Ok so i haven't had that many chances to eat indian food but this was damn good. Chicken was moist and flavorful, rice was good, soups were good, and nothing made me sick yay! The inside is pretty colorful and there are bright pillows and comfy sofas. This is a good lunch option since its located by Lexington market and its a few min walk from school .

  • Joe K.

The lunch special is what I came here for and wasn't disappointed, the food is good and average for what you would expect, the price makes the deal even better. The layout is petty unique with multiple levels and a giant bar located on one of the main floors, also there's a disco ball hanging ; so there is likely dancing here at times? As we had our lunch there was a projector with an awesome music video which made the setting pretty cool. Also the service here could've been a little faster but all in all great.

During my 5 years living in Baltimore, this place is on the top of my list if I need a tasty and fairly reasonable priced lunch. I have been visiting this place countless times because the food taste good, with a good variety of protein, atmosphere is pleasant, and good price. I always go to the lunch buffet. The chicken masala is delicious! Sometimes they will have lamb or fish instead of chicken, you are lucky if that they you get those. The veggie selection is also good, I like the okra and cauliflower a lot! It is a place I highly recommend. Don't be scared of the location of the Lexington Market, it is a jewel.

  • Jamila J.

Ridiculously awesome! Especially for the price. I will begin this by saying I usually dislike Indian food. Not always a fan, so I was skeptical and was only going here because I was on a business trip with at vegetarian and it would not be nice to go to my normal spots reserved for meatatarians. It was a little bit hard to find since everything else around it was closed, it was a weeknight, but after looking very hard found it hidden it's the corner of Lexington Market. The space is huge! And there's bollywood on every screen. Our server was polite and attentive, we were like the only people in the restaurant. However, I'm sure the service is just as great on their busy nights. I know for lunch there is a buffet, but dinner is a prix frixe menu. You get an appetizer, choice of entree (comes with rice and Naan) and dessert; for about $20. And seriously, you get more than your moneys worth. I saw the appetizer and thought, "This is a meal in itself!" Two samosas, a salad and a garbanzo bean mixture. Then you get your entree, which is also a great size with rice and Naan. Naan plus lamb curry with rice! It was like an orgy in my mouth! So to say the least, it was good. Dessert was chai with rice pudding. Super tasty, not too sweet, light and great ending to a great meal. As an out of towner, I have raved about this place to anyone I know going to the Baltimore area. I was very close to making every meal on my trip at this spot!

  • Jessica L.

Of course everyone likes enjoying Indian buffet while watching bollywood movies! One of best decorated Indian restaurants in Baltimore with plush seats and pillows. The buffet is excellent although I wish chai tea was included for free. The buffet is still cheap (around $8 for lunch). It does have weird hours at night and on weekends. Just come here for lunch and not dinner because sometime they're not even open for dinner. They're open sometimes for dinner when the Hippodrome has shows. This place also loses some points for being attached to Lexington Market which automatically makes the neighborhood more sketchy.

Mem Sahib's Lunch buffet is pretty much an oasis in the desert of Lexington Market. it stands out for many reasons: 1) it's ridiculously cheap ~$8, 2)plenty of vegetarian options 3)service is fantastic 4) food is tasty (although not particularly special) 5) not overly oily, 6)fantastic location nestled beside the loads of crap to be found at lexington market.

  • Yaka H.

Lunch buffet is now $8.95 (used to be $7.95, went up a dollar). Despite the price raise, I think it's a pretty good deal still. Simple Indian lunch buffet. When I went on a Friday, it consisted of: Chopped salad, samosas, chutneys, rice, naan, chicken tikka masala, lamb curry (with bone), potato & cauliflower (def more potato to cauliflower ratio), chickpeas, eggplant & veggie stir-fry, palak paneer. The dessert section consisted of: chopped cantaloupe and rice pudding topped off with sliced almonds (more like American rice pudding vs. kheer). The food seems to be a bit toned down for mass typical-American-palate appeal. The food was okay, but for the price you pay, a very good deal. I'm quite partial to the two different lentil dishes, so if those were present in the buffet, it would have probably made me feel better about the toned down spice level. My co-workers like to go here for their lamb curry and their fry bread. Although, the fry bread is no longer included in the buffet (waiter told us that it was an unpopular item). A good cheap place to eat a lot of food for lunch.

(12/30/2011) Memsahib is a gem well known to those working or living near Lexington Market. While there's plenty of lunch options at the market, a nice sit-down lunch in a quiet, colorful, friendly space is very welcome. The lunch buffet is stocked with about 10 dishes, some vegetarian (Channa Masala, Saag Paneer, Zucchini Masala), some meat (Lamb Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken). Highlights were the potato and pea samosas, crunchy, crisp, flavorful and tender; the Chicken Tikka Masala, so buttery, creamy and savory; mildly piquant, cold, pickled carrots. Lowlights were Lamb Curry was salty, meat cubes were pretty chewy; the naan was overdone and dry. Overall, food was very good. If I was down that way and felt like dining in a little bit of civilization in the metropolitan hub of Lexington Market and UMMS, I would def stop in.

So first off, I have to begin by saying I've grown up eating quality desi food my entire life, so I hold all desi restaurants to a much higher standard than other reviewers. Anyhow, the pros of this restaurant were that the service is good, the restaurant atmosphere is nice, and they have fabulous samosas. The cons are pretty much everything else. As I am a vegitarian, the four types of veggie dishes that I had here - the chanay, bindhi, saag, and aloo gobi - all were of subpar quality. Furthermore, all the dishes had way too much sodium and none were up to snuff. The location of the restaurant was in a rather seedy section of Baltimore. Also, the food cost much more than it was actual worth. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants quality desi food.

  • Nancy T.

The lunch buffet is the best. For $8.95 you get a variety of good Indian tastes. It use to be a dollar cheaper but it is still worth it. I love the lamb curry and all the different vegetable dishes. The service is really good and it is always a good stop for lunch. They always have the bollywood playing in the background and the videos on the projection screen. You definitely feel like you stepped into a different place especially since you walk past all the sketchy people outside. When you step inside you don't even notice anything going on out there. It gets really busy during lunch time and it is best to try to get there around noon as the food is fresher and reloaded more often. I went there once at 1:30 and a lot of the food was gone and they didn't bring any more food out, so we had to eat what was left.

My husband and I ate here prior to a show at the Hippodrome and had a fantastic time. The service was fantastic, our waiter was very attentive and very conscientious of our time (given that we only had an hour until our show). The place was mostly empty, which seemed odd for a Saturday night but we did not mind since we got the royal treatment. Dinner is prix fixe at $21 for 3 courses. The appetizer of vegetable samosas and chana masala was great- the samosas were a little more fried pastry than potato filling but still tasty. They provide 3 dipping sauces and the Sweet Tamarind sauce went really well with the samosas! The chana masala was AMAZING, it is one of my favorite dishes in general and Mem Sahib makes a great one. I had the saag paneer for my main course (which was pretty decent, not as flavorful as some I have had) and my husband had the Chicken Tikka Masala which was fantastic. They give you unlimited naan and basmati rice as well. For dessert they give you kheer (which we are not fans of anywhere, so can't really give a good opinion here) and a glass of Chai Tea, a personal favorite of mine, which was delicious. They also have a full bar- my husband had a 22 oz. Taj and i had a glass of chardonnay, both of which added nicely to the meal. Overall for $30 a person (including tax and drinks) we had a lovely time and would definitely return.

I don't think I've had a better example of a "diamond in the rough" than this place. It took us forever to find the place, and if we hadn't circumscribed the Lexington Market building, we might have missed it (and quite a miss it would have been, too)! It's in a dingy area, and seems like it's an attachment to the equally dingy market. But the moment the door opens for the 6 o'clock dinner block and the host leads you into the restaurant, you're slowly walking into an Indian treasure. The decor in here is like... the inside dome of the Hippodrome (i.e. lined in gold): the entrance greets you with tall embellished urns and a hundred plump cushions embroidered with color, contrasting only with the clean white chairs. In fact, that's the only thing that's white in this restaurant--where the walls aren't deep orange written with Sanskrit, there are paintings of Gods on columns. The lights are dim and illuminate the table and its guests while lavish heavy curtains with red jewelled adornments keep the ambience in and the outside world (you're in India now) out. Music overhead and the video at the bar brings out the Bollywood. Dinner is served only on a prix fixe basis, with the main entree being the only one up to choice. At first, I was worried that the absence of the prix on the prix fixe menu meant that I was in over my head, but by the end I just wanted to give this guy more of my money for such a good dining experience: the volume of food and the quality of the service and atmosphere renders one of those "Best Value" or "Best Find" stickers. When our polished, attentive waiter came with a platter presentation of appetizer, I thought we were sharing it with everybody at the table. But we each had our own freshly fried samoasas with crisp veggies and 2 sauces (spicy mint and sweet tamarind, he explained) and chick pea soup/salad conconction -- this alone would suffice for a dinner. But the naan came with its buttery aroma, cilantro sprinkling, and multitude of textures, and I almost cried. Our entrees arrived soon after the warm plates: all delicious next to the kindly-spooned spiced rice (this is a cilantro-lover's home). I don't care too much for fish and Indian spices (it was prepared neatly, though, boneless tilapia triangles) but the chicken dishes were delicious. We had to pack away half of it (which was also solicitously done). The night was wrapped up with a nice portion of rice pudding and hot spiced tea in sparkling glasses. Really, the food was average (if not just above--I've had a lot) for Indian, but honestly, the way they take care of you and clothe you in Indian makes everything taste and be 10 times better. A certain gem.

Their lunch buffet is a great deal and tastes pretty good. Whenever I come here for lunch, I need to be rolled out and then get food coma afterward. Their dinner is more expensive, but tastes a lot better. I have never dined in for dinner, but they usually have different specials each night and can make any regular dish. It's like a little piece of heaven hidden in the ghetto.
