This is probably the best pho place in Baltimore City. I'm always impressed by the amount of meat they give you, which it at least twice as much as other places. It's a filling meal and it keeps you stuffed for a while, unlike most noodle heavy pho. My favorite is probably P5 - soft tendon and rare beef. I love the flavor of the broth, which is great as is without any additional sauce. My only complaint is the bowls are so small that I have a hard time adding the basil and sprouts to the bowl. Otherwise, it's very satisfying. I'm not sure how I feel about the rolls, but I don't really come here for them. They all have a ton of lettuce in them - probably 3/4 lettuce and 1/4 everything else. While the summer rolls seemed fairly standard, the lemongrass beef rolls feel enormous to me. They feel more like mini burritos than rolls. They are definitely filling enough as a meal on their own - at least they are for me. The sauce is more of a sweet clear sauce with tiny bits of peanut. I would rather it be thicker and more peanut buttery. The old space was cozy, but I like how spacious it is now in the food court. Still cash only, so be aware of that.

I ordered a pho with everything in it. Honestly, I was disappointed and not sure where all these good reviews are coming from. The soup tastes like it's soy based which I thought was weird. Don't get me wrong, the taste isn't bad, but just not used to pho tasting the way it did. Also, their summer roll's sauce was weird too. It wasn't the usual peanut sauce but some weird sauce. It's not even the sauce Vietnamese restaurant usually gives you for spring rolls. My colleagues that ordered something similar didn't even finish her pho or her summer roll because it was too weird for her. However, couple of my colleagues ordered the vegetarian pho and was told that was sooo much better than the regular pho. I might go back and try out that one out. But I'm probably not going back to try their regular pho.

Who woulda thunk that there would be a super solid place for an authentic Vietnamese meal in the food court at Charles Towers? I'm just glad there is. Though it's cash only (possibly the only minus about this establishment), the moola you do shell out is well worth it. The summer rolls are, to put it simply, stupendous. They are humongous, but don't be fooled into thinking that they sacrifice quality for quantity. Oh, no, indeed, the quality is on par with the (giant) quantity. Each roll is expertly packed with fresh vegetables, shrimp, pork, and cilantro... and did I mention they're huge? The peanut sauce with which they come is delicious, and just barely enough for the two rolls. But I'm sure the owner wouldn't mind giving you some extra if you wanted (he's super nice and hard-working, btw). And the pho. Yum. The broth is good, the noodles are plentiful, and the meat is large and in charge. Perhaps the only other maybe minus is the fact that the bowls aren't as big as they could be. They're filled to the brim with soup, and that makes for precarious moving from the counter to the table(s). Other than that, though, I didn't mind. Their Vietnamese iced coffee is no joke. It might be small, but it packs a punch, and for those who aren't used to such strong java, it may be best to wait until the ice melts a bit, so the flavors are a bit more mellowed out. Overall, a definite boon to the area, and a supremely tasty one to boot!

If you're looking for a quick work lunch, but you're absolutely craving Vietnamese food, the Mekong Delta Cafe, located in the Charles Tower food court, is there for you! I've gone here three times and have had a variety of options (thoughts below), but I wanted to note that all my experiences were take out. It's really hard to get noodle soups to go and be pleased with the quality, which is why I'm giving them 3 stars. They're always really accommodating (separating the noodles and soup into different containers, labeling between everyone's orders and arranging it all neatly in an easy to carry box). It does take some time and they only take cash, but it's worth it to satisfy your Pho needs. 1. Pork/seafood Hu Tieu - delicious, hearty broth! Pork was dry, but I just dipped it in the hoisin sauce so I was quite content 2. Rare beef pho - the one time I ordered pho, the meat was sadly clumped together, which turned me off on even attempting to salvage my lunch. But, my coworkers have ordered the pho numerous times so I'm sure this was just a result of the takeout curse! 3. Grilled pork/egg roll vermicelli - what a surprise! I wasn't feeling soup that day and ended up loving how this dish turned out . I do wish i had more fish sauce for the noodles, but I'll know to ask for extra next time. 4. Spring roll - rubbery waste :( Just ended up eating the shrimp inside, but never again! Maybe one day I'll sit in and try their Pho when it's hot and fresh out of the kitchen, but for my go-to Pho urges, Mekong Delta does deliver.

SURROUNDING: Downtown baltimore, street parking, moderately sketchy neighborhood. Go here during the day. SERVICE: Small restaurant, family run business. When I say family run, I MEAN family run. I have seen rude people straight up kicked out by the intimidating owner/waiter. You might want to call before you go, because they may be observing a holiday. Food takes about 15minutes, because it's literally made in the attached kitchen right after you order. The place is usually full, so may have to wait 5 min for a seat. CASH ONLY! FOOD: Tried pho, summer roll, bun bo nuong. Most authentic vietnamese food in Baltimore. Portions are a little smaller, very fresh ingredients. PRICE: 10/bowl BOTTOM LINE: An authentic mom and pop viet stop.

A few things 1- Great Pho!! 2- Great Service 3- Fresh Food 4- Call your order in before you are at starvation level ( especially at lunch time) 5- Cash Only Im happy that they have finally reopened. and even better across the street from me!! The crew here works very hard to ensure they are putting out delicious food and sometimes that comes with a wait. Its worth it.

Absolutely no atmosphere because it's in a drab food court but the food is good and cheap. I go here for lunch at least twice a week and get Pho. My only complaint is that they fill the bowl up too high and it is impossible not to spill it when you try walking with it to your table. It would get 5 stars but like I said, no atmosphere and they only take cash.

Unfortunately, I may have to "buck the trend" here; while there are things about Mekong Delta that have improved since the move to the new location, my previous impressions (which was a 3-star review the last time) remain. The new location is definitely a big improvement; there is plenty of seating available for everyone and anyone that stops in. It's in the food court at the bottom of Park Charles/Charles Towers; there are plenty of tables at which you can relax and take your time eating the food, something that just wasn't possible at the old place (which had maybe six tables, if you were lucky). It's not as far from the old place, either, only a block away, so it's not that difficult to find. Parking might be a little easier, too, since there's an underground garage. (I do find it amusing that someone stated the old place was in "a sketchy area" - so one block apparently makes a difference?) So, definitely points for more space. I appreciate that. I ordered summer rolls and a bowl of pho (P6, steak and meatball), looking forward to at least the summer rolls, if nothing else - I remembered that Mekong had THE best rolls in Baltimore. However, when I received them.... wow, what happened? The rolls were about 90 percent LETTUCE, I kid you not - very little in the way of shrimp, sprouts or any other filling. Really, if I wanted lettuce, I'd have ordered a salad. And the peanut sauce was NOT the sauce that I knew and remembered so fondly - this was watered down, sour, thin - seriously a huge disappointment. I was absolutely crushed - what happened to their rolls? They once had the BEST rolls, ever. Apparently not any longer. The pho was a bit better than I remembered, though the broth was still WAY too sweet for my liking (and adding hoisin to it ended up being a huge mistake). Still way too much noodles and meat to broth - I prefer the broth, always have, and it was no different than the last time (though, in this case, it may have been a blessing). They did get rid of those irritating square bowls, though, which is good. It may seem weird that I'm complaining about too much meat and noodles, but there was just little balance to this bowl of pho, and I recall that this was the general problem that I'd had with this place the last time I'd visited, as well. The service continues to be good, though the cozy "small-business" feel has somewhat dissipated with the move to the new place. Still cash only, which is a huge irritation. I just don't carry cash with me - I live in Baltimore City and the less you have available on you, the better. However, there is an ATM in the food court as you come in the building, so that was convenient. This place isn't fast, either, though I don't expect good pho to be, so if you're in a hurry, you may want to go elsewhere. They're going to take their time. Unfortunately, I think that I'd prefer to walk/drive the 8 blocks further north and go to Indochine over this place - unlike Mekong Delta, they 1. take credit/debit cards 2. offer damned good bahn mi sandwiches, which Mekong DOESN'T 3. the pho in general is just better tasting overall. I gave it a shot. I tried. But it just didn't rate anything more than an "okay".

Came here for lunch one day while we are on vacation in Baltimore: The great: food came out fast, the beef stock pho was fantastic and it was more than plenty to fill up one hungry person. The good: service was good and the guy that took our order was very friendly. We also got the vegetable fried rice and while it wasn't as good as the pho, it was still good. Price is fair as well. The bad: nothing I can think of honestly Good little place if you are looking for a hearty meal.

I am a huge pho fan. So to me this place does A-OK, just like the three star yelp rating says. There's nothing especially phenomenal about it, and I wish it had more of the bits that I love about old school pho like tendon and tripe and things like that. The noodles are bery good, a pretty average sized leaning towards slightly small portion, but they give you all the fixins you expect which is always great. To me, a good pho is all about the broth, and mekong delta's is pretty passable, absolutely nothing wrong with it, except that the broth wasnt as flavourful and layered as the kind of broth my dad makes. Maybe the missing secret ingredient is love. Or bone marrow. Anyways, this is an extremely reliable solid place to go get your pho-nk on. haha I'm terrible at puns.

Awesome food. Reasonable prices. Great service. Probably one of the best Vietnamese joints in the city.

I was a huge fan and regular to their old location, which was in a sketchy neighorhood, and now they are literally at the doorstep of my building. Yes! Same owners, same cooks. Awesome! Today was their grand reopening, and their new hours are 11 am - 9 pm Monday thru Saturday (last order at 8:30 pm). The venue is the "Eats" food court at the Charles Plaza. It's a nice clean place (all the other eateries in here are only open for lunch, so I'm so glad they stay open for dinner) and there is a lot more seating. Of course, the venue obsoletes water service (now it's self service) and there is no free glass of water (but there is a water fountain next to the bathrooms) but hey, that means you don't have to pay tip! Although they still only take cash *sigh. Menu is the same good old deliciousness array. I came back for my favorites: summer rolls and the P6 combination pho. Still one of my favorite places for pho (great broth, noodles don't stick together, a TON of meat). My only complaint is that the peanut sauce has become this gooey syrupy thing--I'm thinking it's kept in the fridge and congeals like that... I also got the Vietnamese iced coffee. It tastes like coffee ice cream but without the extra sweetness of ice cream and definitely not like the sugar filled diabetic frappucino of Starbucks. Something in between and more subtle. Yum yum! Anyway, happy they're back and I will certainly be back for more.

I love their pho and other main courses. However, their summer rolls were disappointed, wrapped loosely and sauce was watery, tasted more a pre-made. I will skip their summer rolls straight to their main courses. My second time visit today, another big disappointment! Asked for a combination over rice, only chicken, pork & beef on top of rice. Where are the egg, shrimp and others? Fried egg rolls are below average (2 stars). Next time I will drive to Pho 14 in Columbia Height, they have the best of everything!!

I am so happy they re-opened in a new location! They are now located in a food court, so there is basically unlimited seating. But still the same amazing food at good prices. I had the P3 pho with beef and flank, which was a delicious, generous amount of food. CASH ONLY!

I have been coming to Baltimore for 7 or 8 years for business trips and very early on discovered Mekong Delta. Originally in a small house -- the few tables were in what would have been a small living room -- there was almost always a wait outside. A good sign, because the food was delicious. Simple, flavorful and fresh. The small number of seats made things a bit of a gamble if you showed up late -- anytime past 7:00 and you might not make it in. Last year I wandered over to find the place being closed up -- the owners were relocating a few blocks away, to the dreaded food court venue. I wondered whether it was a wise move, as it lost all the charm of the old, way-too-small place, but also risked turning into average, pedestrian food. This visit I was to find the answer, which is...... .....NOTHING has changed. The smiling owner greets you and chats away with old customers and charms new ones. His wife is at the stove turning a handful of ingredient into a culinary masterpiece. You are still eating on china bowls and plates, not styrofoam. The aroma greets you when you walk in, and all is right with the world. Mekong is open much later than the handful of other places in the food court, and open later than the old location. There is no problem getting a table now, and instead of waiting 45 minutes outside in the cold, you can now enjoy your meal as soon as it is prepared. On a cold night like tonight, a steaming hot bowl of the Pho is a must. I have had Pho at dozens of places, all a bit different, but this is my favorite. The beef broth is flavorful and memorable, and the mix-in ingredients fresh. There is a wine store a few doors down, and you can buy a bottle, or a beer, and bring it over to enjoy with your meal. Everything is prepared after you order, so you will have a small wait for your meal, especially at a crowded time of day. But it's a fraction of the wait at the previous place when you added in the wait of just getting in! In the past I hesitated to recommend Mekong because the last thing we needed was an even longer wait! But it was no secret that this was the best Vietnamese food in the city. Now I can give it 5-stars and not worry that on my next trip I won't get inn!

Omg! Best pho I have ever had! They hook it up too- I usually add jalapeños and siracha. The staff is super friendly. We usually call and order ahead for lunch since it's so busy!

I love Pho, so when I found out that Mekong Delta moved to Charles St I had to come try. It is a tad more expensive than most pho places, but it's also in the heart of the city. The broth was clear, flavorful and very authentic. I also had a Vietnamese ice coffee and it was so good! Don't be fooled, the bowl looks small but this place hooks you up with a good amount of noodles. This is a must try. Don't be turned off by the cafeteria style dining. It won't disappoint, especially in these cold winter months.

I've heard wonderful things about this place but their previous tiny location discouraged me from visiting. After their relocation I decided to finally check them out. I went on a Friday during lunch and the wait was about 30 minutes. I ordered the summer rolls (because they looked delicious in the Yelp photos) and the beef pho. The summer rolls were served first (about 15 minutes after placing my order). I knew ahead the rolls were not cooked but they still didn't live up to my expectations. They were too cold and pretty bland although the peanut sauce helped. The ingredients did, however, taste very fresh. I thought I would be too full to enjoy my pho because the rolls are so big but I was surprisingly still hungry. My pho was finally ready and after adding some sriracha (a staple in my life) I was ready to dig in. I tasted the broth first- again, not what I was expecting. I prefer more of a salty broth and this one had hints of sweetness that I think was attributed to the onion. The more I ate the more I enjoyed it and I was stuffed about halfway through. They really do give you a lot of meat. I took the rest home in a plastic container. I couldn't give higher than three star review because while the food was good, I wasn't blown away, but that's just a personal preference. Also, a 30 minute wait doesn't deserve higher for this type of establishment. But they were very friendly and were appreciative that I ordered despite the long wait. If their move means a 30 minute wait (far too long for a food court restaurant) I can only imagine how insufferable the wait was at their previous location. I think Mekong Delta would benefit by moving to a location where they can focus on giving the their customers a better experience in terms of service and ambiance. I put this restaurant in the "I heard of it it, so I tried it, but I don't need to go back" category. Tip: You can call your order in ahead of time.

The H2 - Southern Seafood pho from the depths of the delta. LOVE YOU! So good! The shrimp. The crab. The scallops. The broth - this one has chicken broth instead of your typical beef and I love it! First tried this place long ago before they moved - my mom always when because it was delicious and so she took me a few times when I was visiting home. Then I have started coming back because during lent I was feeling like a cold was coming on and I needed hot soup - specifically pho - but didn't want meat. Mom mentions: Hey lets go here again, we go and now we can't get enough! Everytime I'm in the area I have to go - regardless of what ails you, pho always does the trick, and this southern style one H2 is the sh**! It really is amazing! Try it. Give it a shot, you will not be sorry... CASH ONLY! Just fyi. Also I have had many other things and it is all good.... this is just my go-to item now. I'll try other things agin... one of these days :)

I might be biased because I was a HUGE fan of Mekong before they moved. But actually I'm actually happy that they moved because in their old location, they had really unpredictable hours. We took the circulator and got off at the Saratoga stop and walked one block over and it's right inside the plaza. The Pho: the broth is aromatic but on the sweeter side and they also provide a substantial amount of meat. Compared to Indochine, Mekong Delta's meat is of higher quality and does not have that strange chewy what-am-I-even-eating texture. The Seafood Noodles: this is what I always get. The broth is garlicy and sweet. I always ask for extra fried shallots, and Leo the owner always accommodates. The clear noodles have a firm, chewy texture and overall- this is probably the best noodle soup in baltimore city. There's usually about three or four shrimp, a handful of smaller bay scallops, and crab meat strewn throughout the broth. The Rolls: The rice paper isn't too soggy (one of my pet peeves) and there's an equal balance of protein with lettuce. I would highly recommend the beef rolls because the beef has a great charred barbecue taste. The Service: When I went on a Wednesday around noon, it was packed. It was also raining sleet and ice outside, which is a testament to their popularity that all these Baltimoreans would brave the conditions to come to Mekong. We were told there was about a 30 minute wait, but our food took closer to 15-20 minutes. Mekong is a family run business and it makes me happy to see them thriving. The only thing I don't like about their new location is that I didn't get to see Leo's sons delivering the menus. Definitely stop by for a quick lunch!

I was so sad because I went by to the old location and thought they had closed. Found out they just moved to the food court. I actually prefer this location as the previous location had limited seating. The pho is still delicious. Summer rolls gigantic and tasty. Tip, call in your order ahead of time and no waiting.

Surprisingly delicious for a stand in a "food court" (really more like a small hall with several restaurants, likely catering to the local offices for the lunch crowd). It was quite busy, with many to go orders presumably called in to save time. Although it took a bit longer than expected to get our food, the chicken over rice was worth the wait - great texture and unique flavor with the perfect amount of spice.

Never opened!!! I have never been able to eat here because every time I try to, they're closed! It's in a run down food court. Hard to find, no street parking out front. If you're by the area, I suppose you can stop by here... But don't, under any circumstance, make a trip downtown to get just Vietnamese food here, there's WAY better Viet food in the county

Hands down the best vegetarian pho you can get in Baltimore, loaded with stuff and the broth is really flavorful. Got the vegetable summer rolls recently, which were also really great. Other than that haven't tried anything else on the menu -- always want to but the Pho is too good to pass up. The new location is a little goofy, but has an interesting charm like the old one. Still cash only --there's a 7/11 right across the street if you need $.

This place is as good as it gets (for Baltimore). -Food: Solid Compared to all the pho that I've had from the West to East coast, I have to give this place a solid 5.5/10. Very enjoyable but by far, not even close to the best pho I've had. However, for Baltimore, I would give it a 9/10, as it beats out the other two places I've tried since moving here a couple months ago. The pho is average sized but a bit highly priced given the quantity (~9 bucks). It comes out in a small bowl (but the bowl is literally filled to the brim). The main consequences of this are: (1) you can't put your beansprouts/basil into the broth to cook without first eating some of your noodles/drinking the broth (2) you spill some of the broth while carrying the tray from the counter to your table The pho will fill up the average girl, but if you're an above average sized guy, you'll most likely want to get some extra noodles. Extra noodles were very reasonably priced here at $1.00 (or was it $1.50? Where is my memory going...), so you'll want to probably pick that up after your main bowl if you're a guy. The extra noodles are put in a small bowl with hot pho broth inside for you to throw directly in. I also got the fresh spring rolls (pork / shrimp ones). The fresh spring rolls were surprisingly big for the price ($4). Definitely consider getting them if you're hungry and don't feel like getting extra noodles. The sauces they have are: Sriracha sauce, Hoison sauce, chili paste. There is NO Sate sauce (chili, fried garlic, oil) unfortunately - seems to be hard to find on the East coast from what I can tell... -Service: Great! From what I could tell, the place is owned by a family. The husband seems to always be manning the cash register, and he behaves professionally - no random mumbo jumbo, kind, and courteous. The food comes out promptly. You go to the counter to pick up your food as you would at any food court. You can purchase soda/bottled water. There are no free cups of water from this establishment, but that is no problem, because there is a drinking fountain right next to the place. -Ambience: Fine I usually come here after work ~5-6pm, and the place is pretty much deserted with most of the other restaurants closing out by then (I personally don't understand why they close before dinner service). This lets you have a quiet space to maintain conversations with friends while eating. -Overall: I am definitely coming back. There is no place in Baltimore that I've been to yet that has better pho than Mekong Delta. The family that owns the place is nice, and the food is good/decently priced (pho is a big on the pricier end, spring rolls are on the cheaper end). The only thing that will keep me from coming back to this place is its closing time! Am I the only one who craves Pho at 1am?

BEST pho I could find in area (and I'm from seattle where we have TONS of pho). My recommendations are to get the lemongrass spring rolls (cheap, delicious, and good portions). I'm also particularly partial to the P2 pho option. But as far as I know - you can't go wrong with any of their dishes!

Delicious, flavorful chicken pho and sumptuous, oversized chicken rolls. They could downsize the chicken rolls quite a bit, and I would still be happy.

Best pho place in Baltimore and beats Pho Dat Thanh in Towson IMO. Come here for the pho (obviously) it won't disappoint--big portions and lots of meat. The new location is within a food court, and I believe Me Kong Delta is the only stall open after lunch here. There's plenty of seating since it's a good court, but the wait can be long (between 10-20 minutes) and they are cash only.

Best pho, best food, and best owner in town! I have been eating at Mekong Delta once a week (at least) for over two years now and do not plan to stop anytime soon. The chicken pho is my go to. Most complex and delicious pho I have ever had. The beef lemon grass rolls compliment the spicy pho very well. The new location has plenty of room and is still BYOB. Everyone should eat here at least once.

Staff were nice but the food was mediocre. I had the vermicelli bowl with pork and spring rolls. Both the pork and spring rolls were really bland. I was hoping for some nicely charred pork but instead there was no char or color on the pork and it was a bit tough. The veggies on the vermicelli were fresh and the portion is generous. It's about right for what you'd expect from a food court but I wouldn't get the vermicelli again.

Wow this place is a hidden gem. The menu is small but very well prepared with Pho as the main staple. The spring rolls were freshly made and very large. The Pho was packed with meat and vegetables. The broth was a huge turn on for me, the heat was perfect and the taste was not over powering. Ample spices made the soup one of the best in Baltimore. Downside to the visit, parking in a parking garage and can be hard to find during rush hour. Next once inside the building with the "eats" sign look for the rest rooms and you will run into the stand. BEWARE they only take cash as payment at this really me so bring it. The average dish ranges $8-10 and the apps are $3-6. I walked it from the Royal Farms Arena in less than 10 minutes, it was worth the walk. Enjoy

This place is located in Charles Towers food court. It's relatively small, CASH ONLY. The food is pretty decent. My friend and I shared a pho and a vermecilli. For one thing, it's a little bit on the pricier side for Vietnamese food (around 10 dollars) and for the price you pay, the portion sizes are a little bit on the smaller side. Pho broth is good and it's pretty authentic. However, my biggest pet peeve....unless you ask for it, their Vemicelli noodle is WARM. It's meant to be a cold dish, and in fact, it tastes nasty when you make it warm! However, their spring rolls within the Vermecelli was quite cruncy and tasty. Overall, probably the best place to satisfy pho craving WITHIN BALTIMORE CITY. If you are willing to drive out a bit though, would recommend pho saigon in Cantonsville.

This is a decent place, probably 3.5 stars. This little place is a little bit hidden. It's in the little cafeteria place. My friend, boyfriend, and I wanted to do pho on the freezing (randomly snowy) Valentine's day. We were going to go somewhere else, but because of the snow and time, we ended up finding this place, which was much closer. They do open until 9pm on Saturday, so head on in even though the rest of the cafeteria is closed. Their pho was pretty good. Rich flavor, although I'm wondering if they use MSG because, of course, it was kind of salty. They gave us a lot of meat, which was super nice, but I don't really know if that was because we were the only people there (since it was snowing out, and it was getting close to closing.) or if they normally give that much per bowl. It was an average sized bowl, and therefore, on the pricey size for pho (close to $10). Egg rolls were fried fresh (again, prob b/c we were the only ones there) so they were nice and hot, but also super oily. They could have dabbed it on paper towels first. Nothing really special though. The owners were super nice. All in all, if you're craving pho, this is a decent place to check out, and it's one of few places within the city and in walking distance.

Best in class pho in Baltimore. People have been raving about this place forever, but I never made it to the old location because I hadn't really developed a taste for pho. Recently I've been going to the pho spots in Canton and Towson, and so I decided to give MD a shot. It is really good! The format is order, pay, sit with a number (a la Pei Wei). I wouldn't call it fast casual though, because pho isn't something you can bang together in under 5 minutes. On that note, I recommend getting a spring roll appetizer. I've gotten the P2 rare beef pho both times and it is stellar. The spices in the broth are complex: sweet, some spice (maybe coriander or cumin?). The noodles are great and the layering is really good. I like the spoons even. I should stop here because all you need to know is that the pho is really tasty! Go to Mekong Delta for some of the best pho in town!

I had pho #3 (with rare beef and flank steak) for lunch today--so delish! The man who served me was very nice and personable. Don't know if he is the owner (?) but made me want to continue to support the business. As others have posted, yes, *cash only*!

Friendly service and delicious pho. Read reviews online then tried out Mekong Delta, now located in a food court. It was tasty and reasonably priced. Will definitely go again!

I've traveled the world. I'm always trying Pho around the country. This is the only place I've ever eaten that I had to go to the bathroom to puke half way through my Pho. I've been sick from eating food around the world. Usually a couple of days later and me being too daring. This is in the United States. Don't eat here.

Omg! This place is so good, and very surprised at that too. Since its location is kinda funky in some food court corporate type area. I'm only knocking a star off because it was cash only. I got the Vegetarian Hu Tieu and it was DELICIOUS. They have a pretty decent selection for vegetarians and I can't wait to come back and try more. Plus it's very reassuring to hear vietnamese actually being spoken by the employees :)

Great job (dick who I can't mention otherwise yelp will delete my post), sandbagging them on their new yelp page. Bravo. Do you have any idea why they closed down in the first place? Probably not. Why don't you do us all a favor and stay 30 mins outside Baltimore if you're just going to act like a douche. As for the food this is place is the best Vietnamese you can buy in/around Baltimore, it's just that simple. Can't vouch for the new place yet because it just opened, but if the previous owners are cooking, I'm there.

This place used to be amazing! However, since moving, it is no longer that great. The food is filled with MSG and does not taste vietnamese anymore (my gf is Vietnamese). Really wish they would go back to their traditional routes. Get the vietnamese ice coffee. It's quite good.

Ordered the grilled beef on vermicelli. Maybe I should have gone with the pho, as I wasn't blown away by my dish. The portion was generous, but the beef was more steamed than grilled. I'm typically a fan of cilantro, but found it didn't go well with this dish. When I've had this dish at other Vietnamese restaurants, it's been served with sprigs of mint which helps provide some freshness. While it's great and convenient that this place is open late (9pm), it isn't charming eating at a food court late in the evening when all the adjacent food stalls are closed. May try them again during an afternoon when the food court seems a bit more lively, but this experience didn't give me the Vietnamese fix I was hoping for.

I live above this restaurant, and I'm thrilled that they are open until 8. Their Chicken Curry is delicious and spicy if you want it to be. They are often the highlight of a difficult week when you need a great meal. I haven't tried the Pho yet, but it is on my list to try.

Pho at a food court? Yeah, I was skeptical, although really curious, about it too. That being said, I didn't actually order pho when I got there, but I expect to be back soon on a cold day to get some. The nice thing about this place is that it seems to stay open after most of the other places in the food court close. The food that I ordered was great, and actually of higher quality than I would expect out of a food court environment. On top of all that, presentation was neat and the owners and staff running the place were actually really nice. It's not every day that you hit the trifecta of good food, presentation, and service at an Asian place.

I heard this place was good, even for vegetarians. I had some spring rolls here. Tasted weird...maybe bitter? I could not pin the flavor but they were easily the worst spring rolls I've ever had. They're huge, an order can make a meal. But they tasted so bad I didn't finish it. I don't plan to return if something as easy as spring rolls come out so bad. Also, they are cash only.

Delicious Vietnamese food, fast service, and reasonable prices. I went for takeout and ordered the tofu curry, and it was ready in five minutes or less. Next time I will probably get the mild spice; the medium is not for the faint of heart.

I tried Vegie pho and scallop spring rolls. They are DELICIOUS! The homemade broth was so good I wanted try the pho again the next day. They take only cash but the cashier is friendly and nice and you will love the food.

Not a come back. Food took forever to be served and when we got it, it was barely warm and the taste was not up to par. Either too much msg or just bad recipes.

I'm not a pho expert but every time I've gotten it here I've absolutely loved it. Staff is polite and courteous, you can tell it is family owned. Food court location isn't exactly dripping with atmosphere, but for lunch, who cares? Only reason they don't get 5 stars is the fact that I have to stop at the ATM every time I come since they won't accept credit cards.

First impression was positive with mostly Asian customers and very efficient and unpretentious. Wafting "make you hungry" aromas escaping from the nearby cook stoves and very fair pricing with the usual array of Vietnamese choice of dishes. Menu well organized and cash only for which I don't blame them as good business decision certainly helping keep prices reasonable. Open food court seating low key and no need for ambience if the grub rocks. Condiments are fresh and you can get extra basil for a buck more. Very young crowd here not stodgy. Since I skipped lunch today preparing for an enjoyable dinner I might get a rice dish for "desert". Was not planning on alcohol tonight so no big deal drinking sanpellegrino Soda with my meal but not a good match. You get more than you pay for in this joint for sure. I like being able to look at food being prepared. Very clean and WiFi a nice bonus. Well worth the short walk from hotel to get here. So what's the downside? Shrimp in the pho were the peeled type you buy on a platter at Walmart and the broth was too sweet and the pork pieces way over cooked. Can you tell I'm writing BF and AF ... before food and after food. Doubt broth was home made but not terrible. Overall could be 4 stars but 3 more appropriate.

Nice place to get pho, I think the best on the city. Just tried the chicken broth noodle bowl as well. Yum. The counter guy is really kind, and you get a good amount of basil, jalapenos, and lots of bean sprouts here. I'm going to start including disability accessibility in my reviews because that is mostly overlooked. This food court where Mekong is located IS wheelchair accessible, there's a ramp to go up next to the stairs from street level to the outside of the building and the food court itself has no stairs inside. So, much better than their old location. The food court is spacious and has lots of room for a scooter or wheelchair and any accessories. Sure, it's less cozy but it is now available and is a great quiet space to read.

What a delight! My fiancee works across the street and we went here yesterday for the first time. I don't think they need reviews to get business- their product will sell itself and I'm sure they have a loyal following. I agree- the guy who left the one star rating needs to get a life. People need to start thinking about how reviews affect businesses in general- what happened to common sense and empathy? It's a food court stand that caters to the lunch/business crowd and lots of vendors keep varying and unpredictable hours. Their food is excellent and the prices.

A review of vegetarian dishes.......I reallly, really wanted to love this place but it was not as great as I had hoped. Portion sizes were good and my husband enjoyed his veggies, tofu, and yellow curry. We ordered the vegetarian rolls which were quite large and had plenty of lettuce and shredded carrots but there were hardly any noodles and what really made them not work for me was the peanut sauce. What they call peanut sauce is not peanut sauce at all. It's actually just a super sweet clearish brown sauce and not a creamy opaque peanut sauce as you usually get with good Vietnamese rolls. My soup was ok. It did have plenty of nice veggies and tofu but the their answer to a vegetarian broth is a broth that is flavored with what seemed to be quite a bit of soy sauce. I should mention that we visited them a few years back (at old location) when we still ate meat and enjoyed the dishes more so perhaps it might just not be the best place for vegetarian dishes. Having said that, the peanut sauce was just bad all around and really should be addressed.

I love Mekong Delta. They definitely have the best pho in Baltimore. I also love their lemongrass beef rolls. I liked the old location better than the new food court set up they have now. It's not the best atmosphere but the food is still on point so that's good enough. Right?

Best pho in Baltimore! Their new location isn't as charming of an ambiance as the old location but the food is still as good as you can get. It's all about the broth that makes or breaks pho for me and theirs is spot on. I've never had a more flavorful broth. The pork and shrimp vermicelli is also excellent if you're not in the mood for soup.

  • Siman H.

CASH ONLY!

    (5)
  • Christine S.

They have better hours, but no free glass of water, so u must buy bottled water. Food is still great....bettee locatipn as far as accessibility.

Loved their old spot and love their new spot too! Best pho in baltimore and I love their hu tieus as well. There is now plenty of seating and you don't have to wait outside in the cold. You do have to wait for a while if you come on a Friday night but it's totally worth it!!!

Pho is great! I like it spicy and their pho is the right amount of spice for me without burning my mouth! The portions are also generous!

"Off the beaten path" good. Usually the best places anyways, right? Hefty portions (4 spring rolls instead of usual 2, huge and amazingly sized Pho). Owner really nice as well.

My favorite place for pho in Baltimore! I would honestly drink just the broth of their pho for all of my meals 24/7. It's amazing.

This place has great food and large portions for the money. I do not like the food court setting and would prefer finer dining but you cant beat the price for a quick meal.

Delicious pho, P3 is delicious. The broth is great and the portionsize is huge. Still cash only, the family is super nice and now there are more seats since it is in a food court, still as yummy as ever since the move :)

It's back. Thank God! Everything is delicious. The owner Leo is the best. Called me on Wednesday to let me know they reopened. It looks like there are one or two new menu items but everything else is the same.

I love Mekong Delta. They definitely have the best pho in Baltimore. I also love their lemongrass beef rolls. I liked the old location better than the new food court set up they have now. It's not the best atmosphere but the food is still on point so that's good enough. Right?

This is the best pho in the Baltimore area. Sooo yummy. The owner is friendly. I liked the feeling of the previous more but the new location is bigger and works well for lunch. The food takes awhile but it is worth it!
