Good crab shack type of place! It's right on the water and has sand and palm trees in the back outdoor eatting area. Got the all you can eat crabs(they give you two hours to eat) for about $20 which is worth it compared to the regular order of crabs unless you're a slow eatter . It was DELICIOUS. Only downside to the place was the shortage of staff (there was literally one waitress) and the mosquitos.

Apparently under relatively new management, this place definitely has potential... Big dance floor inside... Sand, Palm Trees, a Large Outdoor Deck/Dance Floor, and a Tiki bar right by the water out back... Steamed crabs by the dozen during the day... DJ & Dance club by night... And according to pictures on their FB page, they occasionally hold outdoor foam parties here too! We stopped by MBB for the first time in the late afternoon prior when they started serving crabs for the season on a Saturday. So we weren't totally surprised that it was a bit of a ghost town. We headed to the outdoor seating and ordered a couple orange crushes that weren't made from fresh squeezed oranges, (hopefully they'll invest in a squeezer soon and join the rest of the bay side bars that do "fresh" crushes). And since we were between the lunch and dinner hours, we just grabbed some Old Bay Wings to nibble on with our drinks. The only downside we saw was that MBB is unfortunately so far up Back River that the low tide water levels are only 5' in the middle tapering down to 2' near the shore. So even if they had a pier, (we were informed the floating pier they had last year broke loose, floated away over the winter, and is marooned on the other side of the waterway), arriving by boat is probably only safe for jet skis and boats under 25'. I'm looking forward to updating this review and hopefully upgrading the stars after a daytime trip to do steamed crabs and an evening trip to see what the party crowd looks like here!

Very sad ... New management but supposedly same owner. The steelers meet there and there were no English speaking staff... No waitresses... One person was called in that knew how to run credit cards... The menu consisted of burgers fries and wings. How can u run a restaurant when the bar staff does not know what a bucket of beer is...pathetic!!!!!!

Passed this place on the way to Bills Terrace Inn. Turns out, Bills was closed so we doubled back and ate here after seeing a sign. This place didn't even exist on Yelp until I added it. So, I wasn't expecting too much walking in. All you can eat crab for $21.99. Otherwise it's by the dozen, $25, $35 etc For my first experience with Baltimore crab, this place was decently good. It was next to a major road and some piers in a more run down part of the city. Atmosphere was alright. Walk through the bar to get to the "restaurant" portion. We came around 1:30-2ish and there was only one waitress. She did a great job considering she was flying about everywhere. On to the food. Baltimore styled crab seasoned with Old Bay. It left my lips tingly and spicy. The crab was your run of the mill steamed blue crab plus a crap ton of Old Bay. My sisters bf ordered scallops and said they were horrible. He didn't even finish half of his dish. We also ordered a crab dip that was surprisingly good! If only they served more pita with it... Overall, there's nothing really to rave about here. Great service, but hit or miss food.

Love it. Sat night it's the best for me. All you can drink, and not watered down stuff either. They make sure you get your money's worth and more. Outside and in. Either or. In the summer there is a bubble bath tent for women to get in there bikini and have fun.

I had the Surf and turf burger -- I would get it again but with a broiled crab cake and a burger a little rarer. Mom had a cheesesteak and loved it. Although secluded and very pretty the area felt sketchy and the club crowd didn't look favorable. I'm interested to see what Sunday games days will look like here.

Place seemed to start out well but now is another bust.

I am amending the original crabcake impression, based on conversation after the party. My husband gave me his leftover cake. We agree that the lump crab on top and plentiful crab were awesome. However the breading was way too spicy, and more like a thanksgiving turkey than seafood. It overpowered the crab. They really had enough meat to make a smaller, more delicately flavored cake, but some customers are impressed more by size I guess. We suggest keeping the lump on top like they do now, but decreasing the stuffing. No change in rating, it's a crab shack with a bit of O.C. at the bridge.

Want to be a live music venue, starts shows early, bands done by midnight. 6 bartenders, service sucks. They didn't even have bottle openers. I had to open my own beers, this is against the law. The owners need to change this up soon or this place is gonna die. The beers were cheap.

Had a great time here this afternoon. The food was awesome, I got the crab cake and shrimp. The crab cake was flavorful and chock full of crab meat--YUMMY! Drinks were good &strong and I loved the view of the water from the beach bar. I'll definitely be back to try my hand at the all you can eat crabs.
