I always end up here wondering how I ended up here and why I am here. Yet every time we've sat down here a pitcher of Natty Boh (Baltimore's finest) ends up on our table and seems to be constantly refilled till the wee hours of the night. Music is decent too. Not up my alley but very folky and sometimes they have a live band playing too. Can't remember ever having a bad time here.

I was in town for the weekend and ended up here for some cheap drinks and some live music. My brother had pre-gamed a little too hard, so when we got there, he passed out in a sitting position by the pool table and the local crowd decided to take a photo shoot with him, which was hilar-eeee-ous.

The best place to get your drink on in Fells point. Very good musicians and drink specials. Whats not to like?

Strolled in for a drink while visiting Inner Harbor, we love us some unpretentious, All-American dive bars, this place totally filled the bill. Jimmy was working the bar while Kate Foster strummed some coffee house type melodies on her guitar on an early Saturday afternoon. You could hit any fancy pants bar in the Inner Harbor area, but I get enough of that in NY, there's something to be said for a down home place to get a frosty cold pint (one that you've never tried before perhaps? The Raven?) and admire the collection of flags on the ceiling. The little French doors to enter the bar are an interesting touch as well, kind of like 'modern-day' makeshift saloon doors. Quiet when we were there on a Saturday afternoon but evidently is a BOOMING metropolis at night.

Leadbetters is one of my more preferred bars in fellspoint. Cheap drinks, an unpretentious crowd and live music. That's all your really need to know.

When I walk into Leadbetters, I know that I will not have any unsavory characters talking to me. On top of that I know I will be able to hear myself over the music and be able to get good service from the bar staff. I know the place may be a little cramped at times and a dive for sure but who doesn't want a hole in the wall when that is where you want to be at the end of a hard day? Some people want to go party after work, I just want to be still and have a few drinks. I like coming here and sitting at the bar watching the passers by outside and be by myself. Great place to have a drink and have a good evening/

As far as divebars go, its perfection. They have cheap drinks and their band rocked!

Dive bar that features live music. And by "live music" I mean, more likely than not, some guy with an acoustic guitar singing Jimmy Buffett and Dave Matthews covers.

Great bar. Lots of personality and character, and they have a good beer selection. It gets packed easily since it's kind of small, but you should add this place to your list of "places to bar hop in Fells Point."

Stopped in here and only stayed for a beer. I love dive bars, however it seemed like if you Got the stink eye from a couple people... As others have mentioned, bar on the left band on the right. Seemed like all the people watching the band were friends of the band. Place wasn't crowed at all, drinks were cheap. Took a bit for the bartender to even address our existence.

This was the first bar we stopped at on our own bar crawl of Fells Point. We walked in to the grungy bar and instantly almost walked right onto the live band. I'm not going to lie, the placement of the band was not really thought out. When you walk in, bar is on the left and band was on the right. We had to walk between them. The small gathering of watchers there, only made it harder to order a drink. There was plenty of space in the back of the bar, they should've placed the band back there. For it being only 9pm, the bartender was a little more involved with talking with his patrons/friends than working. He was actually not behind the bar, socializing on the floor while we waited to order drinks. Once that did happen, we did see they had a good range of draft beers there. We only ordered one round of drinks here, but a draft beer and a gin and tonic only cost $6! I had to verify that from the bartender again to make sure I heard it correctly. Sure enough, $6 it was! For where we were, lord baltimore what a deal! I could honestly see myself being a regular here even amongst all of the hiccups(easily fixable) that we experienced.

This was a very chill bar. They emphasize live music and at the time there was a single guitar player playing. There were plenty of taps but not all of them were open, which was disappointing. There are a few TVs inside and its easy to watch a game here. All in all, not a bad choice to duck the crowd.

Crowded little spot, like most of the places in fells. The drink prices aren't terrible, but I was disappointed they don't even offer a bloody mary. Service is so/so, hard to find space to make your way up to the bar. Good live music, though!

As big a dive bar as you'll find this side of the Cat's Eye Pub. Laid back, good music friendly service but their drink prices aren't quite divey enough. The Happy Hour of $3.25 for a domestic drank is down right AWFUL compared to what you can get at other spots and the mixed drinks might as well be served in a dixie cup they are so small

Erm. It's ok. Loved the pool table. Service seemed normal and good, except for me.The bartender insisted I did receive a Rum and Coke. Everyone else said yeah, it was a Jack and Coke. Not a whiskey girl...drank it anyways. Didn't get anything else. Bathrooms clean, interesting graffiti.

If dive is what you seek, my child, look no further. Leadbetters is a must-go in Fells Point. This is a 'do some shots, pound some beers, shoot some pool, wail along with the live music' place. Been known to witness some nakedness on occasion too. The "bathrooms" are a classic can't miss! Does it get any better?

A great dive bar and usually some great music too. Cheap beer (pitchers too!), candy for sale, diverse crowd, and plenty of space. The bartender is also a hilarious dude with some entertaining tales.

Classic dive bar with questionable structural soundness--of course! The pool balls even had some gouges in them. We had the back pool room all to ourselves while an old grizzled guitar player sang up front. Easy going crowd.

This is hands down the best bar in Fells Point. The music is great, the beer is cold and insanely cheap, and the staff are top notch. It doesn't look like much when you walk in, but after one trip, you'll be planning your next and next and next... You are doing yourself a grave injustice by not visiting this place and abusing your liver. A perfect Saturday is starting off here in the afternoon and then walking up the street to finish the night off at Friends. There's a reason the Baltimore City Paper voted this the Best Dive Bar for 2006 ( citypaper.com/bob/story.… ) in city that has its fair share of want.
