This is one of my favorite places in the area to grab a hearty turkey sandwich for lunch. Here, they carve slices off of whole turkeys for the sandwiches. I usually opt for the Thanksgiving sandwich (turkey, cranberry, stuffing) or Turkey with a Grass Skirt (Turkey with shredded lettuce and sprouts) on a roll. Here you get a large variety of breads to choose from (standard bread fare, nothing out of the ordinary). The past few years, I haven't had a typical American Thanksgiving dinner, so this Thanksgiving sandwich really seals the deal for me. If you're ever feeling reminiscent of Thanksgiving eats, you can get this sandwich year-round. Located in Lexington Market, across from the Faidley's.

This place is great and a healthy option in Lexington market. The turkey is always very good and while the sandwiches are nothing fancy (regular sandwich bread and regular lettuce, tomato, mustard or mayo toppings), it is just plain good! I really like their turkey chili as well. It's the perfect choice when you are coming down with a cold.

whenever i am down, the amazing chicken noodle soup warms me right up. in fact, i crave it every single cold day and at this very moment. big chucks of tender chicken with an amazing broth of carrots and celery. it is crazy that is so cheap!!! every person should go to lexington market and try their amazing selection of foods for an amazing affordable prize.

Luv this place. Their Turkey is Delish!!!! Juicey and Tender. They also sell single parts; Legs, Wings, Neck. The Owner and staff are always pleasant and helpful.

You know when you just can't wait for Thanksgiving dinner... but it's August? Make your way to Krause's. So delicious! They make whole turkeys every day, so you get freshly-cooked, juicy meat right off the bone. They have the best turkey sandwiches around. And, the turkey dinner is just right when you're craving Thanksgiving dinner.

The turkey here is pretty solid and it's the only place in Lexington Market that sells roast turkey sandwiches - none of that cold cut stuff. The owner makes sure that his turkey is high quality - they roast the birds every morning. If you talk to the him, he'll tell you how he has perfected the roasting process and how even 5 minutes over cooked makes a huge difference. I have to respect a guy to cares that much about roasting his birds properly. I got the Thanksgiving Sandwich which was delicious. The turkey wasn't too dry and there was just enough stuffing and cranberry sauce. I have also discovered that he carries a chipotle ranch sauce so I might try that next time with the grass skirt sandwich.
