Ok - five stars? For what this place is - it deserves a five star rating - why - because it's more then a buffet and it's more then just a hibachi grill - therefore the combination is outstanding. My colleagues tried to tell me about this place, but I didn't believe it would be this good. You can gather up the raw foods you want cooked to your order - pick your sauce and while they cook that up for you - stroll on over to endless buffet stations that have everything available for you. From the coconut shrimp to sushi (which isn't bad for this type of setting) to all your favorites - meatloaf, fish, veggies - DESERTS (though they had a lot - this was a weakness - more like MY weakness as I had to sample at least 7 of them) even a person who doesn't like eating lots of carbs can find LOTS to eat here. Everything looked fresh - tasted great - the place was clean - didn't take the staff long to restock, remove empty place and refill our drinks. There wasn't a lot of co-mingling among different foods (again staff was on top of everything ensuring that the food was always as it should be). Finally the value simply cannot be beat. I know they must work off volume, but I just can't see how they can make money. We paid ten bucks for lunch and left satisfied - VERY satisfied! This isn't a place I MIGHT go back to - it's a place I will make it a point to return to - what a great place!

I don't even know where to start. The food was horrible, the bread smelled the noodles were over cooked the rice was old the service was piss poor. I never revived a refill and she took and never returned my eating utensils I will never come back again I wasted my money and I'm still hungry.

Usually packed. Interior looks nice. The lady at the front counter was somewhat nice. No hello or anything just "That will be 10 dollars". I noticed they seat people very weird here. I noticed when I was eating my food. If a group of like 4 businessmen come in they will place them next to a family with like 3 kids or like 2 adults come in. They were placed near a group of teens who were loud. ????????? Seen this like 3-4 times while I was there. Also the tables are somewhat small for a group of 4. Anyway the food here is subpar really. 1/2 of the food like the chicken and mashed potatoes were not even hot nor warm. The buffalo wings had barely any meat on them and also not even hot. The corn was watered-down so I just passed on that one. The only good food was the ham really. SMH. Lastly you would think it's impossible to mess up a drink. But not here. The mountain dew was watered-down to the point I had to switch to Pepsi. 1st time being here and will most likely be my LAST....

The food is just ok. I love the fried shrimp and that is enough to get 3 stars from me alone. I kikebthe sushi and grill options.

I have been here several times. It never disappoints. If nothing else tips you off the place tends to be packed to the rafters at the peak times (weekend lunch). I also have this rule; if you are looking for a cuisine go to places where the "natives" of that cuisine go. This place always has a broad sample of Asian hues. It also seems to be the kind of place people go to for events, like suit and tie. If you are a big eater this place is heaven. If you prefer to graze and sample you are also in luck. There is a broad variety of things to choose from. The Hibachi is "free" but they accept tips, same with sushi area. There isn't any set of dishes that blow you away, its just all good solid stuff. Enjoy.

Did another big family celebration/birthday combo meal here recently. For 10 bucks a person you cant do better the Hibachi Grill especialy if your footing the bill. The coconut shrimp is de-lish. The deserts were looking a bit this last time but theres something for everyone. The service is great too, they add 10% now to your bill for the servers so no need to tip additional. The sugar rolls are damn good too. Two thumbs up for Hibachi Grill and Buffet!

I went here at least once a week before several things happened: 1. They stopped serving korean bbq ribs in the afternoon 2. Then they stopped serving korean bbq ribs in the afternoon AND evening 3. Food poisoning when I ate with my parents 4. Food poisoning again when I gave it a second chance when I went with my gf 5. I found raw dough on some of the desert bakery 6. I found raw chicken (pink) meat After hoping that things would change .. I had to abandon my then favorite buffet

The food is good and usually fresh. It is a buffet and you do better when it is busy so the food does not sit too long. They have a grill where you choose the raw items (chicken, beef, shrimp and veggies) you like and they will cook it to order. The beef roast was dry and over cooked, but the other items are decent.

Only reason this place gets 2 stars is because of the price. Honestly, spend a lil more time and head around the beltway to Tokyo seafood buffet in woodlawn. Its cleaner, bigger, and the food is better.

For the price of $10 (not incl drink), you can not beat it. This is one of the better Chinese American buffets in the area. This location is better than their Manassas, VA location. I believe they are the only location that serves blue crabs and big clams. The sushi is so so here but they do not slice the fish thin because it is a buffet. The selection is pretty good here and I really enjoy the mongolian bbq. I had never had Hershey ice cream but it seems to be full of air. I definitely recommend this place since it is cheap n good!

EAT HERE! Best Food, Best Price anywhere in Baltimore. This place is clean, bright, comfortable; the food is really good and a wide variety of selections. The servers keep plates cleared and drinks filled. This place is the best deal anywhere.

I've been to this place 3-4 times as my roommate likes it. It has more than 50 food selections, including entree, desserts, salads, fruits etc, but the problem is almost everything tastes the same, especially seafood. For only $10, I say i am still satisfied with the food here.

This is not your standard Asian buffet. its more like the shang ri lah of buffets. Chinese, Japanese (including sushi), American, and a Hibachi grill to boot. choose your own raw ingredient mixture, they cook it up on the spot, you add the sauce afterwards. the selection in each area of the buffet is vast as is the amount of food they supply. its not 5 star Chinese food but you get a great taste and fill for your buck. its great for groups of friends and their desserts are better than most Asian buffets. its about 11 dollars per person so if you can afford it its a nice experience. just dint come during prime dinner hours at anytime or you're screwed on a wait time and a line out the door, come during the early bird dinner times.

I love! This buffet! It's so much better going when it is not crazy busy. Great spot to bring your family and/or friends to. You must got to the hibachi grill and get everything you love to eat cooked and served directly to you.

I went to this one after work it was my birthday and I had a taste for some sushi and I thought well I work near habachi never ate sushi there so why not...right?.. the waitresses were nice... very hospitable...the whole atmosphere was nice and quiet... well depending on what time you go probably. Habachi is a Japanese American buffet it's suppose to be more off Japanese food with the choice of american food as well. Not even real Japanese food. I had a friend who had a bad experience with sushi and doesn't want to eat it anymore because of this place

I bounce back and forth between 2 and 3 stars depending on the experience I have at this location. I prefer to visit the Parkville location off of Perring Parkway. This location has a weird dessert selection and the hibachi section never has snow peas, ever. Which makes me sad. Pay when you arrive, as apposed to getting a check at the end. I believe this has a lot to do with the clientele in the area. Probably quite a few walk outs. This is ok, I can live with that. You'll come here if you can't decide what you want for dinner, but you're pretty sure you want Chinese, but maybe American, but mostly Chinese, with a little sub par sushi to boot. And you only have $10, and you're really hungry. Yep, this is where you find yourself. Not the worst, certainly not the best, it is buffet food in all of it's splendor. With a little area where someone can cook up whatever you can fit on the plate. Love the concept, just prefer the other location. Gotta have those snow peas, man!!!

Have been here several times. Price is excellent. Food quality is good love the grill. My wife says the fried fish quality is down and don't taste the same I haven't noticed. My problem is that the bathrooms are A mess. They only clean it once a day. I gone in their and say to my self my God. What happened in here. Kind of like the first hangover movie what happened in the suite. They really should do better than this

You know that one place you're ashamed that you love just because it's such a sketchy place? This is that place for me. While it's not as good as its sister shop in Towson, this is still your best bet if you're starving and have ten bucks. As far as buffets go, you can never expect much, but this one actually keeps some quality with their quantity. Large selection of Chinese food, fresh hibachi, and sushi all for one low price. Some of the American foods look a bit less appetizing, but the Chinese dishes have always been just as good as my local take out place. The sushi here isn't as good as Towson which is my chief complaint. That sushi is actually great for what it is. We go here once a month, usually after running a race (You know - carb replenishing). Definitely worth a stop by for a cheap meal!

I was all prepared to give this place a better review, because it had, at first, surprised us. Then, unfortunately, it surprised us again later. Let me explain what I mean. We were looking for a place to sit down and eat around the Eastpoint area, but Applebee's was too busy and we didn't feel like just walking up to a stand, so we decided to try this place. I remember it from when it used to be a Golden Corral, and it's similar, but has an Asian-style flair to it, so I thought, "Well, okay, it can't be that bad." The prices were solid for lunchtime - 7.50, AYCE. No problem. They had plenty of "healthier" items such as fresh salad, vegetables, etc., and LOTS of seafood. I mean baked fish, octopus, that kind of thing, and you could also get it in a stir-fry if you desired. It was actually pretty good in variety - of course, they have the ubiquitous fried crap and heavy, starchy, carby American fare, but we more or less stayed away from that. They have a LOT of items, though - soup, salad, sushi, a stir-fry bar, plus the awful fried carby crap previously mentioned, so there's something for everyone here. They have a fairish dessert bar, with cake, pudding, ice cream bars, and plenty of fresh fruit (which I was pleasantly surprised by). Service was pleasant, if a bit rushed. It's just like Golden Corral, really - you serve yourself, the wait staff cleans up the plates and refills drinks - that's it, nothing really more to comment on. The second surprise, unfortunately, came later. I'm not sure if this place caused it, but my husband was EXTREMELY sick hours later with a bad stomachache and nausea. I wasn't sick, but I didn't feel too hot. Admittedly, he stuffed himself (and on more "unhealthy" type things), so it might be his fault. :p I'd probably try it again, though I think my husband would probably pass on it. It's a solid option in the Eastpoint area, though, if you're into this sort of thing.

If you enjoy this place, you are serious TP... buffets usually suck normally, but this place says it is hibachi and that must mean something totally different here in BFE.. This is a substandard chinese buffet that uses food coloring to make stuff look how it is suppose to (see sushi). The waitresses are the best thing here but that is a far stretch. Wave caps and wife-beaters is the dress code, so come prepared!

This is far from my first time here but today I review. I live close by this one so it's my usual Chinese buffet spot. I like how often they ensure that the pans stay full and fresh as well as the buffet areas stay clean. To feed three of us with water as our drink came to less than 25 for lunch. I like that they have carrot cake and although some of the others have hand-dipped ice cream, the pre-made cups of ice cream here keep it portioned control (because you know coming to a buffet means watching your calories lol). Seriously, it's great for the price and consistent with the quality of food.

One of my fav places when I can't really decide what I want more from a carry out Chinese place. The food is always good, maybe not as fresh but what can you expect when you feed a lot of people. I've never had an issue with this place and will obviously be back. Didn't give 5 stars because staff could be a little more demanding when it comes to telling parents to watch their brat children, but eh, you get what you get for this area.

I have never been a fan of all you can eat restaurants. I had an enjoyable lunch at the Parkville location, which offered octopus and squid, so I agreed to travel to this location for lunch today. They had odd offerings for an allegedly Chinese restaurant, and their Chinese food was circa 1970-pepper steak, most exotic option, sesame chicken and rice noodles. The iced unpeeled shrimp were tiny (I must me spoiled, I prefer GIbby's Jumbo shrimp) The soda tasted flat. They served an unpleasing surimi, which is fake crab (often found in salad buffets at random grocery stores.) I love fruit, but this location was highly disappointing. The cherries were stale, the pineapple slices were tasteless, the strawberries were obviously past their prime. They did have a tasty carrot cake, which gives them a single star.

The question you have to ask yourself is are you looking for Quality or Quantity when it comes to the Hibachi Grill and Buffet? Although there is a vast Quantity of food, almost Vegas style in comparison, the Quality is very poor. Also, if you are there any time on Sunday, do not expect anything to be replenished quickly, especially the Sushi. Having Hibachi is a nice touch, but still not worth the typical pricing. I will likely not return.

I have been here probably 20 times, including just yesterday. This place is top notch for a japanese buffet. The value is tremendous. Get there prior to 3:30pm and get lunch price for $7.50. The food is great. I stick with the hibachi only and love it. Others I have gone with the other offerings on the steam tables and there were never any complaints. By way of the japanese, stear clear of the steak(it's pretty tough) and get shrimp instead. I agree that the clientele isn't awesome. But c'mon, it's in Dundalk and it's cheap. Were you expecting a dress code or parenting classes? I think not! For the area and the value you won't get better than here. Enjoy!

I love the hibachi grill! Most of the time the service is great, and the food is almost always delicious. There have been one or two times where food was under cooked, and the groups that bring small kids (running around) is a little annoying, but overall a great spot! Beats paying $100+ for two people at KOBE's...though, hibachi grill doesn't have a bar... :/

OMG, it was $10 for a Saturday night buffet. TEN DOLLARS! Now let's be honest, the food wasn't blow-you-mind-delicious... but you really can't beat the value and variety of food. I don't know what they put in their mac 'n cheese, but i LOVED it. Also, i didn't touch the sushi b/c I was too scared. Looks like no on in my group got sick so WE'RE ALL GOOD!

This is a comparable place to the Hibachi Grill in Parkville. Actually, it's better. Although they have very similar dishes, they have better selection on fruits. For dinner, there's a nice raw oyster selection and their sushi contains a lot more choices. They have steamed maryland blue crabs instead of crawfish like the other Hibachi Grill off Joppa. So certain selections are different. But for the most part, the dishes are similar if not identical. For dessert, they have plenty of cakes, cookies, pies, etc. Their ice cream selection is awesome! It's not by the scoop. Their individualized ice cream bars! The food is OK, but for 9.99 per person (no tax or drink included) what more can you ask for? Give it a try!

I was looking for a place to get Chinese food and heard this place was good. I saw how many areas of food they have and was optimistic. As far as Chinese goes, they have okay fried rice and sauces but that was where things ended. The meat was tough, fatty, or just plain bad. I even tried a little of most everything in case I just got one bad serving. You know it is bad when you find yourself spitting the food back out. The customer service was okay but the hibachi grill was severely lacking. I will say the food off the hibachi grill was the only thing that kept me from asking for our money back. I have eaten at a number of Chinese buffets but this was by far the worst. Perhaps as a buffet this place is okay but not as a Chinese buffet. I will say that I did not try the sushi, which may have been okay but it looked like it had been sitting awhile.

Used my birthday gift card here on a Sunday afternoon. very busy but got seated in a reasonable time had a friendly attendant (not sure if to call them waitress because it is buffet style) the food was good as always even my almost one year old enjoyed his portions. the only compliant would have been the busy areas when getting your food i almost got ran into and ran into people while getting back to my table.

I ate here today with my brother-in-law and his parents. I'm visiting Maryland for a few days, staying with my BIL, and we thought it would be nice to take his parents to dinner. Imagine our disappointment when we call my in laws, only to find that they were already thinking of going to dinner at the Hibachi Grill and Buffet. BIL expressed his reservations about buffet-style Chinese food, and they were quickly squashed. I soon realized that I too had little vote in the matter. Our decision was made before we got everyone into the car. We arrived at what was probably an old Friendly's, Perkins or Denny's on the exterior ring of a low-budget mall near the Staples and Dollar Tree. I remained optimistic. We parked and went inside. I dismissed the greasy glass doors as a sign of a busy restaurant. (I dismissed that detail too soon.) The tables and just about everything else were also pretty greasy. It must have been a busy day. I soon realized that because the restaurant is a pay-in-advance, eat-until-you-faint, let-the-kids-run-around-and-touch-things kind of buffet, it would be better if I stuck to the hibachi grill, where I could choose my ingredients and get something cooked fresh. That was a good decision. I also tried some sushi, which was not bad, but just kind of bland. I've had better sushi from the supermarket. The in laws, on the other hand, went for broke and tried the Chinese food, which was warm and apparently just the right quantity. BIL reports not tasting much of anything in the food he ate. Some of us tried the desserts, and those were fine. But really, if you're going to dinner, why go to a place where you have to do so much of the work, the serving, the dodging kids, the waiting for the hibachi guys, to eat food that isn't really fresh? And for ten bucks a head, how can they possibly be using anything except the cheapest possible ingredients? Now, you're probably thinking that a single star is not fair, given the fact that we paid $60 bucks for dinner with soft drinks and tip for four and none of us got sick. But really, the single star is more about the fact that I'm trying to dissuade you from paying ten bucks for a buffet of unappealing food. If you want to have a low cost meal, find a good Indian restaurant with a small buffet of quality curries. Or go to a great neighborhood Italian place and split a large pizza, salad and some appetizers. All of us, rich and poor, black, brown and white, young and old, need to stop the buffet madness. We need to tell restaurants like this that quality matters over quantity. Now you're probably thinking I'm a snob. But I live in the Midwest. And I like Subway as much as the yuppie sandwich shop in my neighborhood. And I love Chinese food ... when it's fresh. And even though Chinese buffets are common where I'm from, I have never been to one. After this, I doubt I will go to another.
