Wow- Hardly ever leave reviews on Yelp unless I'm "wowed". One of the best gyro's I've ever had. I ordered the gyro and the authentic, was NOT dissappointed. The portion size was adequate (filling). The gyro meat quality was amazing. The meat itself was not too salty, but well seasoned. Good combination of tzatziki sauce, fresh pita, gyro meat. I should have taken some pictures, maybe next time. Well worth the Drive! Definitely a MUST in my opinion.

Ordered food from the Eat 24 app, it took over an hour and a half to get here. Was OK when it finally came, I just got the lamb gyro and a salad, but not 30 minutes after I finished my stomach started turning and I was up all night with food poisoning. Had to go in late for work the next morning too. Don't plan on going back

Best fries ever! I had the chicken Caesar gyro and it was very tasty. The chicken was spiced nicely. Took a bit for the food to come, but that might be just because I was hungry haha

Delivery took almost 2 hours and the food was cold and hard. I won't be ordering from them again.

I love this place! Everything is always so fresh and delicious! Service is always friendly and fast! Best cheesesteak in the city!!!!!!

Stopped in on a short road trip. Was greeted by a cute girl at the register. Got the lamb Gyro. She took us our food also, pretty quick. Wow, I think this is the best gyro I ever had. Pita was slightly toasted (which I love). Gyro meat was sliced off the spit and had a nice sear on it as well. Rarely find that but I loved it. I had ordered fries as well. I went up and asked the girl, she forgot to tell the kitchen I think. Was itching to get back on the road. I was about to cancel, but the girl finally came out. She wrapped them up to go, figuring I wasnt going to stay just to eat them. Fries were standard frozen stuff. Luckily the Gyro was so good, it out weighted the whole fries incident and I'll keep the rating at 5 stars.

Food was ok. We thought the platter would be different. We thought it would be a giant gyro. It was just a giant heap of lamb.

Can't beat this for quality greek delivery!!! I can't put it on par with Samos but in a pinch this place is great. The classic gyro is excellent and the spinach pie, grape leaves and greek salad never fail. The prices are amazing and delivery is always earlier than what they tell you on the phone.

  • Jeanne R.

Best gyro in Baltimore City hands down! My boyfriend loves the lamb or authentic gyro and I love the chicken. We found out about this place maybe a month or two ago and we have already ordered from them 3 or 4 times!

I have never had anything bad from Greek Town Grill. The owners are great. The veggie spread and walnut cake are excellent. Be sure to try alittle of everything, you won't be sorry.

Great new find in Greektown. Friendly and tastier than Samos which, after three visits, I still feel is overrated. Greek Town Grill is cheap, too. Recommend the tasty veggie/feta spread.

Definitely one of my favorites in Greektown. I would say second only to Samos. That may be a blasphemous statement but I'm willing to stand behind it. Don't get me wrong Samos is fantastic food but I believe they're a little bit too high for their own britches, You know the long wait the fact that they take the phone off the hook so they don't get any phone orders just gets annoying after a while. But when you want high-quality Greek favorites at a really good price with delivery there is no other place to go than the Greektown Grill. Must tries are the authentic pork Gyro and the feta spread. A best bet for a budget meal would be any one of the platters they come with fries rice a Greek salad pita bread and whole lot of Gyro meat you can't beat that anywhere. I highly recommend this place that's why I gave it all five stars.

Winner, winner lamb gyro dinner! The lamb gyro platter ($8) is absolutely piled with a mountain full of tender, juicy lamb gyro over a bed of buttery rice. The Greek salad side had generous chunks of feta cheese. The fries were seasoned extremely well---so much so that I did not even need ketchup. As Matt L. stated, the platter is huge and a great value. This is definitely one of the top Greek places around!

REAL gyros, off the spit - not easy to find in town. you can get your gyro in two styles and both are delicious, check out the menu for details. they don't skimp on meat and all the ingredients were fresh especially the tzatsiki sauce. i live in the neighborhood and this is my favorite place to get food from. they also have a wide selection of sub shop food and sides.

This place is great! They always answer the phone, they are always nice, and the food is great! The customer service is worlds better then Samos.

VERY clean atmosphere is what you first see. The menu has a great variety of Greek and American items. I went for the chicken gyro which was absolutely awesome. Better than any gyro at the diners. Also got the rice pudding which was equally great. All this awesomeness was less than $10. What a deal. Hope they are open a lonnnnnnng time. We will be regulars especially since daycare is around the corner so perfect for take out. They will also deliver. For a larger eat in meal, check out their deal on restaurant.com . Enjoy!!!!

Delicious!!!! I had the tzatziki spread and chicken gyro. Absolutely amazing. The staff was helpful, the prices were great and the place is clean. I will definitely be back!!

This place is definitely a welcomed restaurant to Greektown. The Gyros are amazing and they have three different types... my favorite is the chicken! Prices are super reasonable ($5.50 for a gyro) and they take credit card... If you're just looking for a gyro, skip Samos and check this place out as it won't disappoint. Oh and they are BYOB friendly and don't charge a cork/drink fee.

The best Greek food around. I drive from 40 minutes away to come enjoy this food. Price is great, portions are great, and the food is amazing. I consistently choose this place over other Greek establishments in the area. You will not be disappointed.

Rock solid local place. Small but very clean. Fresh food made fast, nothing is sitting around, they make it while you wait and I've never had a bad order from here. I usually get the grilled vegetable souvlaki. The new Samos, IMO (not that there's anything wrong with Samos, just that this place is the new competition).

  • Mike R.

Wife is the "Gyro Nazi". She likes them her own way. From Yelp reviews, she decided to try the Classic lamb gyro with fries. We had to wait an hour to eat. But even after the wait, she declared it one of the best gyros she has had. She even said "Wow" to the fries. I tried a couple of her fries and they were sooo good even after time. I don't usually eat gyros but I give this review based on better half's opinion. She wants to come back again! She loved it! Oh...and we loved the fries!

This is a gem. In my mind restaurants should be rated in regards to price point. For price point this place is great. They are quick and cheap. Both the authentic and Americanized foods are fantastic. The place is clean, service is quick, and prices are cheap. Everything is under $8 (most around $5), tip is optional (order at the counter, carry out also available). Gyros, dolmades, you name it, it's good. Funny enough, they have some of the best french fries as well. The portions are large. A platter is larger enough to feed 2 people ($8). Best cheap Greek option I've found in Baltimore hands down.

  • Roxane B.

I hardly ever review stuff, but this place was incredible. Went there tonight and had the lamb/beef gyro. Literally the best I've ever had. Perfect balance between meat, feta and sauce. Meat is perfectly cooked. Couldn't believe the price - $5.50! Restaurant is not fancy, but it's clean and convenient. Don't miss this if you're in the area and love Greek food.

This is a first rate, high-value "fast food" greek grill. Prices for the lean times when your pockets are lined with lint and change; portions to satisfy the hungriest of hungry; taste to satisfy to the most discriminating. I've had both the "Authentic" and "Classic" Gyros, and the pizza. My buddy ordered the Chicken Gyro. Unanimous consensus: REPEAT VISIT!! Listen, no kidding...the size of the gyros leave you asking, "how can they make money with gyros this big for six bucks?" The pitas are crispy and fresh. The meat is tasty and moist. Do not hesitate trying the food here.

  • Kojo B.

It was o.k, no Samos that's for sure but it hit the spot. I ordered the authentic, lamb, and chicken I tried the authentic and lamb, nothin earth shattering just your typical gyro

  • Ashley C.

Love their food (chicken souvlaki and their fries are my favorite). My fries arrive steaming hot/crispy on the outside - so clearly very fresh. The delivery does take a while, so order before you get super hungry.

Amazing, what a hidden secret. For when you want to great fast Greek food for a bargain, this is IT! I heard about this place from the nurses at Bayview who frequently make large delivery orders while at work. Of course everyone know about Samos, but when you want good food delivered and at a cheap price, look no further. The FOOD: Gyros: the are amazing....not the kind you from most street vendors. I got the "Authentic gyro" in which the main meat is roasted, sliced pork - awesome, bursting with flavor, crispy. Other mentionables: my colleagues ordered the classice gyro which includes tender juicy slices of lamb, and another got the chicken gyro. Tho I didn't try any of these I overheard shouts of satisfaction from each of them. Fries: these are excellent, crispy, on a thick side, and seasoned on the outside. Reminds of the great fries i used to get at my college cafeteria (this is a compliment, as those were some of the best fries ever and always hit the spot) - and there's fries in the gyro, not sure if this is authentic or to satisfy the american diet. Haven't tried their soulvakie or other Americanized foods, but I imagine everything to be good here and of course a bargain. Also, here's a little nuance that Greek town grill fulfills. Don't you hate it when you get a gyro and then try and take a bite, and the next minute you have gyro sauce, tomatoes, and meat scattered all over and on your clothes??? Well, Greek Town Grill fixes this with the unique way they wrap and their gyros so the mess avoided. You have to see it to believe it. OVERALL: $5.50 for a delicious gyro. great steal.

Never had a problem with this place until tonight. You will have to wait for your food but its always been worth the wait. Tonight they forgot part of my order and when contacted about it they said they would redeliver... they never did. Poor business practice.

We moved to Greektown about a month ago and decided to try Greektown Grill first. The Authentic Pork Gyro and Greek Salad are delicious. The Greek Salad has a huge hunk of feta cheese on top. We order there quite frequently now and are never disappointed.

Had their lamb/beef gyro...can you say AMAZING!! Gyro arrived and I wasn't certain I could finish it!! Huge amount of food for a small price. Tasted amazing and cannot wait to go back again!!! Girl taking our order was nice and courteous-great customer service!!

  • Stephanie I.

We had a great experience with this place. They have a huge selection to choose from. Their main food is Greek, obviously, but if someone else wants pizza or wings or subs, you can definitely get that here too. The Greek food was great. We ordered the chicken souvlaki platter and a original gyro. The chicken was flavorful and Not set at all. They came with a side of tzatziki sauce that was tasty. The best part about this place is that it's reasonably priced and they deliver!! They told us a 50 min wait and showed up in 20. I will definitely be going back!

    Lamb Gyros Are The Bomb

  • Rachel S.

Greektown Grill takes the cake when it comes to fast, fresh, frugal delivery fare. Lamb gyros blow most places out of the water (tender meat, creamy tzatziki, fresh maters and cukes), and their fries are surprisingly some of the best around (perfectly crispy on the outside, soft pillowy potato goodness on the inside). The Greek salad is heaped with feta and kalamata olives, and the best part? $9 minimum for delivery. That's for you, single-n-sexy masses. No more ordering enough to feed a family of four to meet the minimum. Hands-down my go-to for weekend delivery.

This place is the shit. I love greek food and have had it all over the US. this has to be one of those places I will remember to go to if I am around Baltimore. Ordered a gyro platter and GF ordered a pita veggie wrap. Also some greek fries. Everything was great. Granted your stomach feels a little uncomfortable after eating all that, but well worth the slight discomfort. Since I dont care about decor etc (which are subpar) no points deducted for that. Rating is only for the food.

  • Rachel K.

Amazing gyros but never ever order the dolmades! They are soggy and gross. The gyros are the best in Baltimore though

  • Timothy S.

$5.50 for a Gyro? Perfect, fresh cut lamb meet and very fresh veggies. Sit in or grab it Togo, either way they won't disappoint the person looking for a quick meal from a friendly staff. My niece liked the fries!

I love this place! The food is consistently excellent. My personal favorite is the chicken souvlaki! I know, it's not very adventurous but the marinade is amazing! Great location and they deliver. Everything is fresh always.

delicious and cheap= win! Had the soluvaki pita and it was flavorful and tender with a few fries thrown in. Loved the sauce- a little garlic-y but not overpowering I'm gonna try the gyro next time

I'm new in town, so based on the Yelp reviews, and my yearning for a good gyro, I drove out of my way to go here on my way home from work yesterday, and for the life of me, I cannot figure out how this place manages to get such good ratings. I honestly don't think I've ever eaten a worse restaurant meal. And I've eaten at my share of holes in the wall-they usually have the best food. The girl running the register was rude and unfriendly, which I wouldn't have held against them had the food been amazing, but unfortunately, of my gyro, fries and spanakopita, only the spanakopita was passable. It was actually pretty good. The fries were terrible (and I love fries-I'm not sure how it's possible to screw them up so royally when they go from the freezer to the deep fryer, quite honestly), they had some kind of weird coating on them, an unpalatable texture, like the middle was powdery almost, and left a bad aftertaste. The tzatziki on the gyro tasted pretty good-I should have just gotten an order of that. The chicken was dry, parts of it were rubbery and weirdly chewy, and just seemed low quality and not fresh at all. Really disappointing experience, and will stick with Samos or explore other places in the future.

Go to place for dinner on the fly, their Gyros are counted on to be the best. They carry authentic pork, mystery meat, and chicken versions which all are worth trying. The tzatziki is only slightly less amazing than Yia Yia's, they'll even put fries on it for you if you ask. The only bad thing is that it's easy to forget it's closed on Sundays. A week ago I found the door shut and gasped in frustration, "No!" while watching a shaggy white-headed mustachioed Greek man stepping out of the cafe next door chuckle at my misery. You likey the sauce?

  • Melissa B.

Went based on yelp reviews. Neighborhood is kinda meh looking. Gal at the register was less than friendly. We ordered chicken gyro, chicken skewer platter (2 skewers, rice, fries, small n fresh salad, and tzaziki sauce, 2 lemon wedges), and spanakopita. The spanakopita was amazing, delish!!! The tzaziki was awesome! The rice wasn't bad but not great, pita was quite disappointing, chicken was well seasoned and tasty. There are 4 tables and I believe 4-5 bar stools. The seating area was clean, bathrooms were clean. I expected more given these reviews but just wasn't impressed. It wasn't bad but not great either.

  • Matthew H.

In any other neighborhood, they'd get 4 stars but this place is a god send to Highlandtown. Everything else that delivers over this way, besides chinese food, is garbage. The food is bad, they'll lose your order, and take 2 hours to get to you on a Tuesday. It can't be overstated how terrible getting delivery in this neighborhood was before Greektown. The food is also pretty awesome. The beef and lamb gyro is basically perfect. The subs are standard pizza shop subs. Their fries are the like breaded crispy kind, and they're good. The prices are pretty reasonable. I wish I could get a stromboli, but that's nit picky. I'll be sad when they inevitably decide its not worth it to deliver over here.

  • Tina J.

Best Italian cold cut I had in my life it was perfect everything I asked for on it was on point they put the right amount of everything and it was a fast delivery! Wish they were open now cause I'm craving a sub! They also had amazing gravy fries the gravy tasted like it had a hint of old bay. Loved it

  • Jack M.

We got the authentic pork gyros. They were good, not great. Just a standard gyro. The fries were really good. Get those. The atmosphere is pretty bad. The order line backs up into the dining area and the clientele are pretty grungy.

Best delivery for healthier options! I enjoy the chicken and rice. I love how they deliver to canton and I've never been unhappy with an order from there.

Awesome gyro platter. Big enough to feed myself and small son. Feta cheese was awesome on Greek salad. Price for the amount of food was unbelievable.

Solid, solid Greek Food at a very reasonable price. Generous portions. A lovely, friendly young lady to take your order. A great value over all.

Yummmmmmmm. Gyros, tzatziki, fries, souvlaki - all of it was great. Deserves all the amazing reviews & fab yelp ranking. This is good unpretentious Greek food. Yaya approved! Prices are great. Portions are huge. Its def a hole in the wall with like 3 or 4 tables. I wish parking was better. We drove round & round for a good 20 mins to find street parking. I see a few defunct Greek restaurants nearby **tear. But I wish they'd move to one of those nicer bigger places & get a big lot. We'd be here every weekend. Probably not a great idea from a business perspective, but Yelp is the outlet for my culinary dreams :) This place is awesome. In fact this whole Greektown in Baltimore is really really cool & we should all do our part to keep it vibrant & in business. It's def struggling, which is a real bummer. Grab the family or some friends & come to Greek town, woman up & look for parking. Enjoy the yummy food here, then walk down the street & get baklava & some Greek coffee. Think of it as a mini outing to our local version of Athens.

The best Gyros I have tried in the region!!! I moved to Baltimore around 6 months ago, and this has been my go-to spot for gyros. First of all, this is one of the few places I have eat at that has the authentic Gyro just like in Greece--meaning its PORK and not the beef/lamb cone. If you google or youtube gyros in Greece or authentic gyros, you will find videos and information. I have tried the pork, lamb, and chicken gyros. They are all excellent, but the pork one is unbeatable! Anyone who comes here needs to try it! My only disappointment is that they are closed on Sundays :( TRY THIS PLACE! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

Greek Town Grill is now on EAT24 and.. they don't charge a delivery fee! Whoop Whoop! I have never stopped in to grab a bite to eat but ordered through Eat24. I can say, I wasn't disappointed. The reviews were enough for to me to jump on the band wagon. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki Platter and the Chicken Gyro Platter for my boyfriend. Both were only $9.99 and the deal was an awesome price. The Souvlaki Platter came with two chicken skewers, with a side of pita bread, rice, fries, tzatziki sauce and a side greek salad. Woah... was that a lot of food! The only negative I can say is that the chicken was a bit overcooked. Would have been happier if I had gotten tender meat but overall the food was very flavorful and at just the right price.

  • Tear S.

Great little gem in Greektown! I had a taste for a gyro and boy, did they deliver. I ordered a lamb gyro with extra tzatziki sauce. It was so delicious! The lamb was perfectly seasoned and the tzatziki sauce was perfect. The pita was buttery and crispy. I will definitely make my way back! Why go to a chain restaurant and spend so much more when you can enjoy a nice, delicious, affordable lunch at a local spot like this? You're going to absolutely love it. =) P.S. The half lemonade half iced tea was super good also!

  • Nathan S.

Delicious food! I had the pork kabob, spinach pie and mozzarella sticks. Highly recommend this place. It's a small, mainly carry out, but they do have limited dining space.

    (4)
  • Nisht G.

This is the type of place where the food is tasty while you are eating it and then you immediately feel disgusting. My friend got the gyro platter and I got the chicken kabob platters. A lot of food for 8.99, but it was doused in butter and probably wasn't made from the best ingredients. The restaurant itself is very hole in the wall and you can see them make the food in a pretty unhygienic kitchen area. I would never go back, but two stars for large portions and low prices.

For the most part, I have been very happy with Greek Town Grill. Very fast delivery, and great prices. the souvlaki, gyros and gyro fries are all delicious. It's not Samos, which will always be my favourite , but Greek Town is a close second. I've been hooked since my first order of Gyro fries !

Gyros. Do you want a gyro? Yes. Where should you get it? Here. Come hungry. Order a lamb gyro. Add feta. Savor it. They do a gyro SO well and their prices are SO good. Jesus, just please order a gyro. Also, rice pudding.

Greektown Grill is great and have never been disappointed in the food nor the delivery services if they deliver to our business address or my home address. Staff has always been polite on the phone. The food is always plentiful, comes HOT !!! what a novel idea right? AND can't beat the prices. If you haven't tried it... what are you waiting for ??

  • William C.

I ordered the Gyro platter with Pork around 8pm to-go. When i got home, i opened the box and i was fairly displeased. I'm pretty sure i got the scraps that were left on the skewers because my pork was not sliced. They were bits and pieces (similar to size of meat you'd get in a taco). There were two visible skewers in the kitchen - one had almost nothing left, while the other one was still bulky. Or perhaps, someone didn't know how to shave the meat off properly. I only mention this after i saw the photos posted on here. On the upside, their tatziki sauce was delicious. And the greek salad that came on the side had a large variety of ingredients packed away into that container. I would love to comment on the pork, but i don't think i stuffed my face enough with the bits i got to come to a fair conclusion about it.

Although they messed up our order (likely due to the high volume of people trying to get take out before the10 pm curfew) the delivery guy was really apologetic and the food was still delicious and fresh. Def cheaper, but just as good, as Samos! Ordered the chicken gyro and the lamb and beef gyro and both were amazing!

Just moved to the neighborhood and walked the block looking at places. Was worried with so many Greek restaurants in the area it would be overshadowed: i was wrong! Had the Lamb/beef gyro with a small garden salad and Greek dressing. What a combo! I will definitely make this my go-to spot in Greektown!

Holy @#$@#$. Best gyro I ever had. I was visiting Baltimore with my boyfriend when we decided to come here to grab a cheap lunch. I ordered the pork gyro sandwich while my boyfriend ordered the lamb. I knew from the first bite that I regretted our decision. I'm back in NY now...what do I do when I want gyro? This gyro place ruined all other gyro establishments for me. Okay, I'm going to stop moaning about my loss and talk about the actual gyro. The meat was succulent, the bread fresh...I have to stop there because I'm going to start weeping if I recall more details from this heavenly dish. The most amazing thing is, that the gyro held together as I scarfed it down. I usually order gyro platters because I always struggle eating gyro sandwiches. But this sandwich was obviously wrapped by a Greek gyro god whose blessed hands skillfully wrapped it so I could enjoy it without causing a gyro explosion. My boyfriend also ordered a souvalaki (sp?) skewer. I don't even like souvalaki because it's usually just charred, dried out meat on a stick. But the one made here was charred on the outside but moist and flavorful on the inside. The icing on the cake was the cashier girl that served us. After we got our order, we thought that our gyros didn't have any tzatiziki (wow butchered the spelling there) sauce (it's actually there on the bottom, below the meat) so we asked for it as well as a cup of water. The lovely brunette helping us gave us a large container of water as well as the sauce for free. Maybe it's because I'm from NY and I'm used to being charged for every little thing but I was really taken aback by this gesture. I also saw her actually walking the trays over to the more elderly guests even though you're just supposed to pick up your food from the counter. In conclusion, I would pay $15 for a gyro sandwich here (don't worry, it's only $8) and give this place 7 stars. Yes the interior is plain but I don't give a flying f***. The food is damn delicious. P.S. There are bathrooms in the back. Clean.
