This was my very first visit. I am always eager to support new businesses in our neighborhood. Had the rib dinner with collard greens and mac & cheese. A good number of ribs, but very small portion of sides. My roll was really too sweet and dense; the greens and mac & cheese were okay, but not good enough to order again. The ribs did not taste very good. The meat was tender but it was not seasoned well and the sauce was a little greasy and lacking in taste. Overall, I was not very pleased with my meal.

I just had the sides but they were soooooo good. Like seriously. The ladies at the counter were super nice as well. I came up from DC to visit family and the next time i come up, this place will definately be on my list to visit! I would have gave it a 5 if it was a sit down eatery.

If your looking for tasty comfort food, Foods Made Good fits the bill. I always get the fried fish and it is always well seasoned. I have also bought the fried chicken tenders for my daughter and she loves them. In addition to the fish, which is a favorite, I have always had their wings which are also good. In addition to your main meats there are an array of tasty side dishes. My favorites are the mac and cheese, which is ultra cheesy. I also really love the potato salad which is mouth watering. The rolls are heavenly, they are dense, but they have a very distinct flavor which is highlighted by the honey butter that comes with them. Now for desert, I love the bread pudding. It is so good! I just can't say enough about it. I don't get it all the time because I am trying to watch my girlish figure,but when I do get it I savor it. Check out Foods Made Good. It's a small local family biz with good food!.

The smothered chicken looked mouth wateringly delicious and tasted like something out of a grandma's kitchen. The yams reminded me of thanksgiving and don't get me started on the mac and cheese. The ribs tragically pork aren't bad of you eat pork sadly I don't. The selection of tea was small but packed a punch each more sweet and delicate then the last. Oh and the kicker they are family owned and operated
