    The decoration is fantastic love the restaurant painting very clean and nice convenience location and spacious. I love their atol de elote and its presentation.

    Authentic Central American food enough said. If you have never had a pupusa your missing out. Ask for the pickled carrots and onions they won't just bring it out with the food. I don't like sweet tamales the ones that I had with this combo brought it. It was good but not my favorite.

    The food here was very fresh and tasty. I particularly enjoyed the papusas. I would have awarded this place 5 stars if the service had been a little quicker. You should definitely check this restaurant out!

    I thought this would be a tiny hole in the wall, but it was surprisingly spacious inside. There was plenty of room for our group of 7. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to share - pupusas w/ cheese and beans, pupusas w/ cheese and pork, pastelitos, corn tamales, tamales pisques. Everything was about $2 a piece. The pupusas were good but there wasn't as much flavor to them compared to the other items we ordered. The tamales pisques were also pretty good. The red bean filling was very flavorful. The favorites of the group, though, were the pastelitos (meat pies) and the corn tamales. I was impressed with the pastelitos. The outside was nicely fried and had just the right crispiness and crunch to it. The corn tamales were also great. They were sweet and moist, and let's face it, corn is just delicious in general. You really can't go wrong. I also really enjoyed the slaw that came with the dishes - good tang and a slight kick of jalapeno. The meal was about $6/person and we were all stuffed by the end. They also gave us complementary chips and salsa. I would definitely come back here.

    I love this place! I would recommend the pupusas and the tamales for first-timers, and if you've never had a lorocco pupusa, get it. The maranon and the horchata are always tasty and refreshing, too. My husband's favorite is the creamy chicken dish, which is extremely tender and flavorful. The service is always friendly and quick, too. Overall I'd say this is my favorite place to grab dinner in Fell's Point.

    Best. Salvadoran. Ever. Great, attentive service (often lacking elsewhere the staff and customers speak something other than English) and excellent food. There is an attention to detail one doesn't often find in a hole-in-the-wall ethnic restaurant, and and the menu is pleasingly varied: four kinds of pupusas, three kinds of tamales, and an impressive variety of shrimp dishes for the pescatarian on the group. I had pescado relleno, fried whole fish stuffed with shrimp and recommend it to everyone!

    Holy amazing food! This place is awesome. Service is on point and the atmosphere is friendly and bright. But the food is all that matters, it is amazing. Best refried black beans. Awesome seafood and creme chicken. And don't forget the flan, it's to die for. This is a must eat at spot

    I'm surprised to be the first one to review this restaurant on Yelp.. I think it's been there for awhile. I'm a Salvadoran food fan so I've been wanting to try this place for months and finally had the chance to do it tonight. The food is excellent. Although they have Mexican and Honduran foods on the menu, we all pretty much stuck with Salvadoran plates. The pupusas and Tamales are delicious. The pastel de carne (little beef pies) were also really good. My partner got a whole fish dish which was perfectly cooked. They have a decent beer and wine selection and what looked like a pretty stocked bar. I would have given Restaurante El Salvador 5 stars if the decor was a little bit better and the tv screens a little smaller. I do have to say that the sound was muted when we were there so it was pretty easy to ignore. I'll be back!

    Visited this place for the first time, since I'm not from this area and I must say this place was pretty darn good! Plenty of options to choose from. Flavors were very authentic and delicious. The waitress that attended us was great! Overall this restaurant had great food and great service!

    I just finished eating here. My meal was excellent...and I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. I ordered Carne Molida from the Honduran food section. I'll definately go back. the breakfast items looked especially good to me since breakfast food is my favorite.

    This place is an excellent option if you're in the mood for authentic Central American cuisine. It's cheap, clean, and the flavors are spot on. Their pupusas are definitely a highlight, as were the pickled veggies. I recommend the platos típicos simply for the variety, but the Honduran enchiladas (which are more similar to a tostada than a Mexican enchilada) are fantastic as well. Best of all, there's so much food that you'll inevitably have plenty of leftovers for the next day. Highly recommended!

    Excellent place because it's so authentic. I got a combo #3 and it was very good. Prior to our meal we got the spicy pickled vegetables(cauliflower, carrots, peppers, and onions)...so good! I highly recommend if you like spicy dishes. The plantains were also delicious...very sweet and done just right. I highly recommend AGAIN! It's super good!

    Stopping by here with a few buddies. We looked in and the place was empty, but we decided to try anyway. The complimentary tortillas were good. Good things : the appetizers are really good! Bad: we got the tacos, that was not good comparing to this hole in the wall taco place I've been to. My friends liked the combo platter and guisado.
