They have remodeled since I last came here. Somewhat upgrade a better counter and good view of the Italian ice. Now if only they can keep all in stock would be nice. It's pretty dark with low lighting. The food is just like I remember it. Hot and spicy jerk chicken with crispy skin and full of favor. My sides rice n peas and greens. I picked the small. It was enough for two people. The coco bread was served pipping hot. Yes to coco bread. I will fight you for their coco bread. Sorry no pic because it went straight to my belly. After going though 3 choices of Italian ice favors to see which one they had. I was able to get lemon. It brought me back to my childhood. Brain freeze and all. These is a must to bookmark mark. They also deliver for orders over $15 pretty sure the have a limit to area.

I didn't realize that I have never written a review for this place. It has been almost 2 years since I have been to this place. I was shocked today when I went in to get a carry out order that I had called in. I don't really know if I was feeling the new look. It felt dreary inside. However, customer service was still good just as I remembered. My pick up order was Jerk Chicken & Oxtails both of which I have posted a photo of. I can only speak of here say on the oxtails because I don't eat that but, I hear it is just delicious. However, I was a little disappointed in the seasoning used on the jerk chicken. When I use to get it in the past it was a dry seasoning and very spicy like I like but, the new seasoning is like a bar-b-q sauce. .......I was not feeling that new sauce at all. Even the greens were missing something that use to allow it to taste spicy. I don't know what seasoning they have stopped using but, I wish they would start using it again. The rice and beans were good. I thought that I was going to be able to give this place 5 stars because that's how I remember the taste being. But, they lost a star for the remodeling and a star for the missing spice.

So we're hungry... riding in the car talking about what we'd like to eat. He says, "are you ready for the best brown stew you ever had?" "Authentic Caribbean food," I ask, as I'd been disappointed before. "Yes!" he said, "the best in town." He warns me that is a hole in the wall but the food is worth it. We drive to a parking lot beside a brightly painted building. Clouds of jerk scented smoke greets us as we exit the car. Promising I think. We walk in and I'm pleasantly surprised, humble yet proud, you could tell that renovations had happened recently. Freshly painted with three tables and a row of tropical flavored ice creams and ices. There are three different meal sizes, all reasonably priced. He gets the brown stew chicken but I go for the jerk, the smoke from outside had already pulled me in. We both order a small and there is more than enough to share, with extra for seconds that I am devouring as I type this review. There were other Caribbean staples to choose from and of course I'll be back. The brown stew chicken was EVERYTHING!!!! Tender, well seasoned, and perfectly accompanied by cabbage and rice. The jerk was good as well but covered in a bbq sauce of sorts that I could have done without. It was yummy but I prefer to go naked. I'd just planned to check-in but when I tried the restaurant wasn't listed. It could be because the name changed or it's just a well kept secret but honestly that secret needs to go bye-bye because the Culture Caribbean Cuisine restaurant is definitely worth a visit, or two, or three. Shoot, just become a regular, I know I'll be. : )

This Jamaican spot is the best in town. The location sucks but the food makes up for that. I had Jerk Chicken, cabbage, and rice, and it was sooooo delicious.

The go to spot for the best Caribbean food, the food is always fresh no matter the time of day which is a damn good thing in my book. I love the oxtails and the brown stew is pretty good too. The jerk is done on a grill which makes it taste authentic, their prices are very reasonable and they sell a variety of different food fried wings and chips, ices something for everyone check them out you won't be disappointed.

The food at this restaurant is very good and fresh. Some of the best Jamaican food I've ever had. They also serve a few southern items. The prices are very good. The only reason I can't give it five stars is because it is a very small place with seating for only six. It's in a rough neighborhood where local drunks and addicts come in for various reasons. If in the downtown area you should check it out. I'll get the number and post it so orders can be called in.
