I haven't reviewed this place yet? WTF? This has become my go-to dive / sports bar since moving to Locust Point at the beginning of the summer. The bartenders are all very friendly and a few of them already know who we are and remember us. If you open the menu, it's exactly what you'd expect for a divey sports bar. Big menu, mostly bar food, even the classic sports logos that have nothing to do with the categories of food they're representing. But for what it is, the food is generally surprisingly good. It's hard to mess up things like nachos, quesadillas, wings, and burgers, but it can be done, and here they all come out tasty, especially the wings. The appetizers that I've had have generally been good too, especially the tuna bites and the jalapeno poppers, which aren't always on the menu but they are huge, bacon wrapped, and ridiculous. The atmosphere is also standard sports bar stuff. There are a ton of TVs, although it would be nice if the banks of 7-8 24" TVs on each side of the bar were replaced by 3 or 4 bigger ones. They have done some renovations recently which made a huge improvement, the tiny front windows are gone and replaced by french doors that drastically improve the atmosphere, especially when the weather is nice enough to open them. The various weekly specials are great too, from $10 steak dinners to $5 burgers, and the beer is always very affordably priced. Basically, it's the kind of place that you wouldn't necessarily come from across the city to come to, but if you're nearby, it's awesome, I highly recommend it, and you'll probably keep coming back.

This is the main spot to be in Locust Point. If you're looking to play some shuffleboard in a relaxed setting at reasonable prices with wide selections of beer, wine and food, this is the place for you! They have 15 TV's, so it's also a great place to watch the Sunday Ticket!

Great bar down in Locust Point. I moved to the area 3 months back and head here often to watch sports. I have never had a bad meal the whole time. $5 burger night on Tuesday is particularly awesome.

This place used to be on point like no other. I literally would drive out of my way to eat a steak salad created by the owner's wife and have a few orange crushes. They used a whole orange and used Finlandia orange vodka to make it. They even had a huge poster board to advertise them and they really were the best thing in town without driving all the way to Ocean City. But the last time I was here I first noticed the poster was removed advertising the orange crushes and when I ordered it, I asked what vodka was inside. "Svedka Clementine," the bar lady said. Clementine is a type of orange, but definitely a different flavor and Svedka is far from premium vodka. I can buy the same size bottle they have behind the bar at my local liquor store for $12.99 (just $5 more than the cost of the drink). Needless to say I was disappointed and sent my drink back. I'm back again to give it another go and this time the bar lady is smiling while arguing that they only ever used grapefruit vodka. I only had countless conversations with the owner about the drink and watched him crush oranges. Sooooo annoying...Cus I really hate smartasses. At least they got the salad right this time. Last time they botched that up too. It was just unappetizing to look at, the lettuce was wilty, the steak was slim, and there were hardly any peppers and onions. Will I come back? I don't think so. I don't like surprises or being let down...OR smartasses. I'll search the city for another steak salad that isn't so out of the way and just tell the bartenders exactly how I want my drink made if necessary. Nothing lasts forever and this place just got removed from my Yelp! Bookmarks. Til next time!!!

This place is super divey and I love it! A real neighborhood joint that serves quality bar food with great service. They have specials on weeknights but even without them, prices are decent. There are plenty of TVs for watching sports and shuffleboard to keep you entertained as well. The only (sort of) downside is that they don't do beer pitchers, at least not for a discount. Make sure to try the buffalo garlic wings, they are amazing! I've also tried the jerk and the Old Bay wings, but they weren't quite as good.

I love this bar. From the daily specials to the people I'm all in. When it comes to good prices on beer/drinks and good food (huge shrimp, steak salad, burgers done how you ask) they always deliver! I have been there almost weekly since I moved to the area and keep going back. The bartenders are awesome and the owner is great. Perhaps I could be called a regular? I plan to take visiting friends from Ohio and my parents who live in Tennessee and appreciate good specials on food and drinks with a good local atmosphere.

It's a bar.... so if you are looking for 5 star dining you will be disappointed. If you are looking for a great place to have a beer watch a game and have some GREAT bar food... this is it. Next time I am in town I will be here.

Dive Bar Extraordinaire. Nice burgers on buttered brioche buns, solid Buffalo Chicken Wraps. Nothing fancy, but then again, you aren't paying $7 for a draft beer like so many of these joints in Locust Point nowadays.

Great atmosphere and friendly & attentive bartenders. TVs on north side of bar are a little small. The barstool have backs...which means no achey or slouched back. Yay! The wings are good, and come with a plentiful supply of bleu cheese - a nice and rare feature these days. In the past I have had the nachos, and they are excellent. The fatty Attie cheeseburger is a lot! I recommend you split this dish unless you have a massive appetite. It was very tastey. The crowd is older than the fed hill scene and varies in age....nice scene. You can easily blend. The food and drinks are yummy and reasonably priced. Overall this place is great....yummy food, good drinks and nice crowd. Come!

If you're looking for a laid back sports bar with great service and great food, go to City Limits. You can't beat the Tuesday night burger special and Wednesday night steak special! The owners and staff are really friendly too.

I used to go to City Limits all the time (more than once a week) - I recently moved 2500 miles away and have noticed how much I took for granted. City Limits has some if the best food with the best atmosphere and an even greater staff. I have been missing and craving the Limits Wings, Taylor Ham (with Tots, of course), and a cold Natty Boh. This place is a true gem - I miss it every day..

Wonderful neighborhood place. The specials are pretty yummy and the $10 steak night (Wed) is a great deal. We bring our kid in for an early dinner no problem- he loves the tater tots and grilled cheese with tomato.

Neighborhood bar next to Latrobe Park. Been here a few times for Ravens games, always had a great time. I admit the nachos are good, but I think other reviewers are exaggerating a bit--they're a big pile of stuff, good stuff of course, but nothing that isn't replicable. I personally think the garlic wings are a highlight, though bring some mints or something if you want to keep your friends. The crowd here is great--not too rowdy, but during football games everyone seems to be having a good time. The room itself is a bit old and worn, but in that awesome Baltimore way which I wouldn't want to change. You're also not going to get like a fancy cocktail or whatever here...just get a bucket of whatever, you're in Baltimore. Prices are fair and square. Parking is of course difficult in Locust Point but there are often spaces on Andre next to the park which have no restrictions. Recommendation: hang out at the park, LP Steamers for dinner, City Limits for some drinks and fun.

As others have stated, this is a neighborhood bar located in Locust Point. The neighborhood has alot of really great local bars. However, the problem with some is that if you're not a regular, you might as well be invisible. The bartenders don't have time for you when they are too busy with their friends. They really don't have to provide anyone else with anything close to decent service because they obviously don't need you...they have their small base of customers. As others have mentioned, the food is average and the service needs improvement. I love supporting local business but only when they equally value the neighborhood. Next time, I'll skip the headaches and just go to a few blocks away to The Green Turtle. It's a little more expensive and a chain but at least someone will serve you.

Nachos are amazing.... I repeat, amazing! In fact, all the food at City Limits is good- quality salads, yummy burgers and creative specials. The portions are hearty and the menu has a lot of unique choices. If you ever get the chance to order the 'Holiday Balls', don't hesitate.... you will love every bite. I always get great service, bartenders are friendly and welcoming... City Limits is a great place to grab a bite to eat, watch a game or have a few drinks!

Love the food, customer service could be a little better, usually the manager is nice but the guy during the day, has a little attitude an has thrown money at my friend as she picked up her to go order..we are always ordering lunch an ordered everyday from here, but since that incident, no one at our job has been ordering from here, need to improve customer service an hospitality, otherwise the food is great..

You will never have better Nacho's in your life!!! Really I don't think I have have anything here that was less than yummy (in a bar kind of a way). There is no better place to watch football than this place! They have oodles of TV's and the big screen is great for Ravens games. The people are friendly and the staff is super. They have this orange crush drink made with fresh squeezed OJ mmmmmmmm On Wed. nights they have Trivia complete with prizes like pez, chia pets, and Spam. Cheezy fun, more fun than should be allowed on a Wed. night. This place rocks

By far the best food on our trip. The service was fantastic. Family owned and the owner was very nice and gave us ideas on other places to go in the city. Tuna bites were awesome will definitely be back. My husband had the blackened shrimp quesadilla. Said it was amazing

Great sports bar in the neighborhood. The food is awesome. The night I was there the bartender seemed a little drunk and was being a goof. He told me the wifi password was underwear. In reality it's citylimits1.

Summary: Great TVs with mediocre bar food Even on a chaotic Ravens game day, the servers were friendly. Sadly they were also overwhelmed by the huge crowd and service was spotty. Best to order at the bar and hope your food eventual showed up! The food portions are big and decently priced but I haven't been able to find anything that's actually tasty! The options are various apps including chicken tenders, crab dip, nachos, etc. There's an entire burger section and wing section on the menu. There's also a quesadilla section but STAY AWAY-every from here! Two of our group ordered quesadillas...the shrimp one was mostly cheese and the chicken one was way salty! We also tried the nachos which were overloaded with wet toppings on thin chips...resulting in floppy soggy nachos. The chicken tenders with fries were fine but nothing special. I am still seeking a great dish here! They have great drink specials including $2 cans of Natural Light. One main pro-tons of TVs with amazing views for games! Likely will not be returning...unless I've eaten elsewhere first!
