This place is also known as "Spring Kitchen". I was in Baltimore and ordered food to the hotel. The food was inexpensive, good and delivered in the time limit they gave (30 min). The delivery person called when he was about 3 min out. To my surprise, when he got to the hotel he also delivered food to the front desk staff that had placed an order just before me. It is a vote of confidence when you know this place is a locals choice as well. I thought the food could have been a bit more flavor full and the egg rolls and fried rice could use a more eat and vegetables, but overall I was happy with this place. If I could give 1/2 stars I would choose 3.5, but I give 4 here because the other things really fell into place.

Well today I got to try the food at this carry-out and I can say it was ok, nothing really to jump out my chair exciting. I brought shrimp egg rolls, wonton soup and general tso chicken. The portion size for a small was great, the soup size was nice even the cooking speed was lovely. The only thing I can say was wrong was the service in being a customer at late hours. They seems scared of blacks or just me getting food at 2300hrs. There is a 10 dollar charge of you use your card, all purchases as to be up or over this amount but I food was made fresh due to being the only customer. Will I can back to this place, hmmm, maybe if this was my last retort or will I drive to a different location closer to home to try another Chinese place, yes I will.

This place's name is Spring Kitchen. 5 stars for this place meaning, this is as good as it gets for chinese takeout. not comparing it to fancier/sitdown restaurants. Lived in the area before, and this was definitely my go-to chinese take-out of all the places around here. My favorite on the menu is shrimp & eggplant in garlic sauce. I work in the inner harbor, and I cringe when I see coworkers get chinese from other inner harbor places... all very subpar. I'll still walk over here, because it really is close enough and grab a $5 lunch every now and then. I'll still grab my takeout for dinner on my way home from work, rather than grab something from other places closer to my home... yes, they're that good.

Would have given this no stars if we could. We stayed at a local hotel and ordered in. The prices are good and delivery was quick, but the food was AWFUL. Wonton soup tasted bad, the garlic chicken and chicken with cashews were rubbery, and the boneless spare ribs were really fatty. This place had a few good reviews so Maybe it was an off day, but well never go back

It's actually called Spring Kitchen. This is my favorite chinese place in the area. The food is cooked in the traditional chinese take-out style. Typical menu items seen in other places. Strangely though I never feel a food coma after thair food. Either way, simply put this is the best kept secret in Baltimore. We always see cars parked outside waiting to pick-up and we like to order their food.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
