Maybe it was the booze, maybe it was the nacho cheese, either way the Canton Pretzel Store had me hooked. We strolled in sometime after midnight. If I could recall the exact time, I'd let you know; but the drinks and all... The place was empty and the staff were friendly and tolerant, considering 5-6 strolled in and were probably a bit loud if not completely obnoxious. We ordered our pretzels and they all came pretty quickly. Mine was a plain one with nacho cheese. The good (See: gross) kind that comes from a can and is everything you want in the world. The combination was everything my New Year's eat healthy resolution desired and more. Our friend's crab pretzel was also pretty good. Either way, friendly service, reasonable prices, and good food makes this a definite late night munchies stop.

Most people visit the Canton Pretzel Store after a night of drinking and while I'm sure it really hits the spot for them, I enjoy the shop for a late night treat! It is a quick walk from my bf's house to the square and we are always craving pretzels! The service is quick and no fuss but they keep in mind that they only accept CASH! Luckily there is an ATM around the corner in case you forget!

Right on the square and only open odd hours at night after people tend to be drinking. I wish it were open more because their pretzels are pretty good. They are cash only. The menu consists of different types of pretzels (salt, cinnamon sugar, crab), pretzel dogs, pretzel pizzas plus ice cream and smoothies. I have only tried their salted pretzel and pretzel dogs, which were both delicious. The salted pretzel has just the right amount of salt and butter flavor with the soft texture that I love. (e.g. more similar to Auntie Anne's than the "super pretzel" you get at the stadiums) The pretzel dog was a little salty for my taste but my husband really likes them.

The BEST after drinking food. I seriously love the pretzels here. They are fresh, buttery, soft, chewy and salty, but not too salty. Yum. Carb heaven. The original pretzel with nacho cheese is my favorite. The cinnamon sugar pretzel is another great option though. Service here is speedy! This is a hot spot for late night food after a night out in the square, but you won't wait long to get your pretzel. It's cash only, but I'd totally walk to the ATM if I forgot cash. I can't tell if it's a gift or a curse that this place is only open 8:30PM to 2:30AM Thursday through Saturday. The last thing I need is to eat these pretzels regularly, but they are so delicious!

You. Pretzel-dog. Get in my mouth. This place. Sweet Mother of Doughdom. Why... WHY are they only open late night?!!? I could do a B-L-D given the right mood. Throw some eggs in, I don't give a care. Fresh, flaky, buttery pretzel dough...wrapped around a mothalovin hotdog. What's that? You don't like hot dogs? Now you do. Get the Pretzel Dog. No, really. This snack must be sampled by all. It could change your world. Put some spicy mustard on that ish. Or, if you really can't be swayed to dog it, top the reg pretzel with marinara and cheese. Or just nacho cheese. Except it's ALL your cheese!!!!! That's right. All. Yo. Chayze. Get em' plain. Get em' with dogs, cheese, or cinnamon and sugar. Whatever way you spin em', these twists are pretzel-licious. Next time you're in Canton, succumb to the craving. Gravitate towards the pretzels. It's only natural. Note: This fine establishment is 100% cold hard cash, so don't forget to bring your greenbacks. Or find some kind-hearted Samaritan to give you dollar bills from their wallet. You'd be surprised how convincing St. Rachel's Pretzel Fund of the Empty Belly sounds at 1 am.

Great pretzels but have only been here late night. Imagine they are good sober as well. Best pretzel place in canton for sure.

Maybe its becuase I come here after drinking, maybe I come here hungry, maybe it was that interacial couple that gave me a cigarette outside this place and suggesting grabbing a pretzel once my smoke has smoked.... either way I can now appreciate the pretzel potential lost in so many of the NYC preztel-standmen. Canton pretzel has few selections, but in the same way, few errors. The salt adhears to the butter which affixes to the pretzel in a triad of fusion i never thought could exist in a single bite!

Probably the best late night post bar snack place ever. Cinnamon sugar pretzel, pretzel dogs with cheese and the pizza pretzel are a must. Probably should get them all at one because let's face you are probably drunk anyways so why not. They also have a crab pretzel that isn't listed on the menu, you just have to ask.

This place is an enigma because its only open on the weekends, only open late at night, and only serves pretzels and pretzel dogs. I love this place because I know exactly what I am going to get and there are no surprises. The prices are reasonable...running about 3 bucks for a flavored pretzel or pretzel dog. The service is prompt and I've never felt disappointed leaving there. I'm sure that my taste buds are biased after drinking a ton of whiskey --making me believe that these pretzels are divine...however, if that's the only time I'm buying these things...who cares? PRETZEL DOGS!!! YUM. Four stars - for consistency in service and product, decent prices, meeting or exceeding expectations.

I am upgrading my previous 4-star review to a 5-star. Why? Because for the last few weeks, I have literally been dreaming of the pretzels where and when I went back, it was BETTER than I remembered. That never happens - especially when you are having been obsessing over it. It's like if you obsess over a hot celebrity and then you meet him or her. Usually, 9 times out of 10, you are disappointed. Either they aren't as tall as you thought or are snobby or something is off with their hygiene. Something. Not the case with Canton Pretzel. If Canton Pretzel were a hottie celeb, it would not disappoint - it would be the nicest, most generous, down to earth hottie celeb around and he or she would only have eyes for you. At least that how I feel. Canton Pretzel - I'm coming back for you. You bet your tail. I am grabbing a six pack of beers and then loading up on a least of a dozen of your wonderful pretzels and I am making it a very happy night!

Pretzels for the masses. It is what it is, great after drinking food. Nothing but cart food, but what else could you want at 2am. I really like the garlic pretzel. The fact that they are so patient with the late night clientele is an added bonus. I have been a couple cents short on several occasions and been able to get by. Cash only. I say support the local businesses that support you.
