I was so sad when Angelo's closed (again). Hampden has plenty of places for fancy, artisan, brick oven pizza, but sometimes you need a cheap, humongous slice. We had to give it a shot at least once. To be honest, I was kind of ready to hate it, and definitely didn't. Not bad! So far, all I've tried is the pizza (pie, not by the slice -- half plain cheese, half pineapple!) and I was pleasantly surprised. It is not the same as Angelos at all, but not in a bad way. The crust is fluffier and softer, which I enjoyed. The sauce is slightly spicy. Plenty of cheese. Delivery was quick. Food was relatively cheap. I hear they have curly fries, so I'll be back soon to try those and some of their other offerings. I can't hate on them just because they aren't Angelos....it was actually pretty good.

This restaurant showed up on my favorite food app eat 24 so pf course I had to try it lol. I was nervous because I saw two reviews one was horrible and the other was amazing. After getting over myself I decided to try it for lunch. I purchase a few slices of pizza and an order of wings. Sooooo the pizza is HUGE at least from what I got. However, I would say it was just ok as a huge pizza fan. That being said for the price nice portion but quality could be better. The surprise in the meal for me was actually the wings which I thoroughly enjoyed. They really saved the meal for me and this a again at a decent rate. If I wanted pizza without having to order a whole pie this place is worth it just get it as a side to something else (it's listed as a side order for a reason lol) otherwise everything was fine for a carryout in baltimore.

This place just opened up. My husband and I ordered food and it was awful. We got two subs and one was so greasy with hardly any meat on it. I got onion rings he forgot to rind up and charged like almost $5.00 for them and they had brown spots on them from the deep fryer. My husband also got gravy cheese fries and when the girl was preparing the food saw her lick her fingers with no gloves at all and was making up sub rolls with no gloves.. The owner did nothing not like the old Angelo's The big slice is not good and my friend said she threw it away has not white cheese on it. Dont eat here unless you like to get sick off the food!

Great Local Pizza & Sub kind of Shop. Love their Cheesesteaks and fresh cookies. Also have eaten their pizza, fries, mozzarella sticks, and wings and have never been upset. Nice staff! Give it a try. I really like their different kind of fries. Funnel fries, curly fries, and western fries. I am a regular now.

Business replace Angelo's Pizza when the closed. 36 Avenue pizza was the worst food ever. First warning sign is that their prices were very low. Second warning sign is the owner was on vacation and left no supplies to sell, no menu's printed, and no real cook but like an idiot I tried them anyway. Ordered pizza which was a cardboard type crust that doesn't rise and had little sauce with no flavor, cheese was artificial misplaced all over the pizza in spots and was under cooked. Ordered fish sub and again used a bun that was suppose to be a 8 inch sub roll instead used a 5 inch dinner roll and was under cooked. Still cold inside the fish. Ordered 6 deep fried chicken wings. Again under cooked, no batter or spice and clearly was just taken out of a frozen bag and thrown into the deep fryer. We ate some of it and threw the rest away. About an hour later I felt like I had to throw up but did not. My wife however did. We filed a complaint with the FDA, BBB and filed a complaint with the city inspectors. Please just do not use this place. They are not even listed in the 411 system and the phone number is the old Angelo's number. They do have a Facebook page which is where their menu is.I learned afterwards that the owner is actually the owner of the service station across the street. Obviously doe's not know a thing about food. Also they had no food permit to show nor did the cook have anything to show that he has passed the food safety program. Avoid this place at all cost.

I've been going to Angelo's for 20 years. I was shocked to find that Angelo's was no longer here. However since we drove all the way from DC I figured let's give it a try. The person taking or order was rude and short. The person making our pizza got the order wrong. They had no heat, no bathroom and the pizza was absolutely horrible.

This place is far from fancy, but as a transplant from Jersey. I had my only authentic Jersey pizza experience here. I ordered a plain slice and it was huge! Just the right amount of sauce and a lot of cheese. This will be my go to neighborhood spot now.
