I grew up in the Broadneck area and used to go here all the time. Went this afternoon and there were two people that were not so friendly to me. Also I ordered "mac&cheese" and I was given a small red pasta with some Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top and when I asked if that was my mac & cheese he said "yeah ours has a red sauce in it" Idk if he was messing with me or what but that is not mac and cheese.
YESSSSSSSS. This place makes awesome hot subs...we got the meatball parm, hubs said it needed a lot of salt; I got a chicken cheesesteak and I also needed a lot of salt. But, I'm in the school of thought that it is easier to add than to take away so nbds here. Gravy fries = tits. Get them. Overall, big thumbs up for a cheap sandwich.
The pork roll, egg and cheese on a roll was awesome. The Italian sub even better. Great variety of sliced to order lunch meat and cheeses. Great prices.

I stopped by on Sunday with most of my family, 9 of us. The food is really good but they had issues with their coffee pot. The young woman serving us (Brooke) was great but she explained that the coffee maker was broken so they only had one. On the bright side every cup was hot. My mother is handicap so that is a concern when we go out. There is nothing to worry about at Mothers. They have a great entrance ramp and a spread out dinning room, they made us feel very comfortable. No one at my table had anything bad to say about their meal. I love the (Rancho huevoes?) wrap and home fries. I will be going back again for breakfast.
OMG Why haven't I been here before now! First that me say THE BEST SERVICE in ANNE ARUNDEL County! I must say it was my Birthday and Me and my Friends were ready to Party! From the time We walked in I felt like I knew everybody that worked there! JOHNNY was are Server and he Rocked!! But other Servers also checked on us for Drinks or for anything! We never Had to Wait for anything!! Nicest People in the whole place! Very Helpful! Told us what was good and that everything Was Fresh and Homemade! That Meatloaf was out of this world! I never order Meatloaf out but Johnny said I Wouldn't be Disappointed and he was right! Made with KOBE BEEF! All the appetizers we ordered he suggested and they were spot on! Spinach dip Top Notch and Asian Rolls Just DELISH!!! We were there all Day and no one try to Rush is out!! We had party horns and Laughing loud and not one employee Complained that we were too loud! OMG the Dessert they gave me with like 8 candles in it! It was so creamy and good it was a fried banana Cheesecake with a caramel sauce! It was huge! I will enclose pic of it! Forget CheeseCake Factory! You go to Mothers Grille and you will have the time of your Life!! Also I want to Thank everybody that came to our table and wished me a Happy Birthday! Cause it was one I won't forget!!! I will for sure be back! Until then Keep up the good Service and excellent Food!!!
Never had bad service here. It's family friendly which I absolutely love. The food changes very so often which is nice as I love to try new things. The bar area is open to the restaurant so if you don't want to hear the noise, this is not the place for you. I however, don't mind this at all and actual like the open feeling. The staff has always been friendly and efficient. As a former waitress/bartender in college I know how hard it is to be in that business. The wings are very good but I recommend you order them "extra crispy" or they tend to be a bit under done. No place has ever made it in this awkward location and yet Mothers has.....must be doing something right!

Brought my family here yesterday while they were visiting from NY for lunch. They wanted some good italian food, this was the first place i thought we should go. Everyone loves it, this place has very good italian food!
Best pizza I've had in a long time. Being from trenton new jersey I know what a real tomato pie should taste like...They nailed it. Awesome job. Will be back!
I just stopped in for lunch and wasn't expecting much. The Cesar salad was good and a good size. I also got the spaghetti which is really good and comes with fresh cherry tomatoes in the sauce. The salad, spaghetti, a drink, and bread was $7.42. I will be returning.

I've lived in Arnold for a long time but have never tried Naval Bagels, today it was either McDonalds or Naval Bagels. I chose to try Naval Bagels. I had the Ruebenwich it was delicious, I will definitely go again.
Their bagels are are breadier than bagely and don't have that good chew to them that makes a good bagel. Their eggs on their bacon egg and cheese I believe were microwaved and had a weird consistency- the bacon used was almost non existent and I'm not even sure it was bacon seeing as I could barely see it or taste it. Their ice coffee was pretty good and the coverage of seeds were nice on the e.t. bagel. Also the wait staff was very friendly.
It's a decent bagel place. The bagels are good, but could use more flavor. I usually get the naval bagel which is very good. The staff are very friendly. Great little local spot.

It's nothing fancy, just a little walk-up place in a strip mall. So don't expect the fine decor and well-dressed staff that you'd find in nice Asian restaurants. But the food is really pretty good, and the staff are always friendly. Prices are reasonable, $8 for orange chicken, and portions are a good size. Not much else to say......Chinese food is pretty standard unless it's REALLY bad, which this isn't, so I'd recommend it. Check it out!
I wanted to update my earlier review because we went back and tried Hong Kong again after a while: ( thank you Yelp for letting people update their reviews especially on mobile devices!) the food and staff friendliness here at Hong Kong in Arnold, MD was much better towards the end of 2013! We were happy again, but then we moved across the country and have to find a favorite local Chinese food take-out places all over again...
HK used to be my go to Chinese spot!!! That changed very quickly when I entered the establishment to pick my food up. A lady cutting raw chicken with no gloves stopped what she was doing to prep my order without washing hands. I told her I did not want the food and left. I have not been back.

Seriously, this place is a hidden gem and probably only the locals frequent this place because it's so hard to find. You go through windy paths and friendly neigborhoods and through farms and forests and finally you get there! This place was highly recommended by my hubby's boss that goes there at least once a week. There's not a lot of items on the menu, and mostly are sandwiches and salads, but they really know how to make a good sandwich. Be sure to ask about their daily specials. We ordered the seared tuna sandwich, and the portions are really decent. The slice of tuna was about 1/2 inch thick and almost the size of my palm. It comes with pan fried potatoes and a pickle and all that for $9.99. Ya can't beat that! We also ordered the daily special, which was shrimp with stuffed crab meat over rice pilaf and veggies, and that was $14.95 for two very large shrimps and mounds of blue crab meat baked in a savory cream sauce. It was delish! Also, did I mention how amazing their crabcakes are??!!? I'm serious, the crabcakes had mounds of the freshest crab meat in there, and it was very flavorful and not greasy at all. I really enjoyed it, and almost had to order two crabcake sandwiches because it was that good! This is definitely one of the better crabcakes that I've had in this area. We sat at the window table overlooking the marina. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The food and ambiance was fantastic! Now that's an awesome day!
This is a restaurant at a marina. Its not a high end place so don't expect too much. On a nice day the location is great and the food works.
Obviously, right off the bat, five stars. There is nothing I wanted more after a good american election day than good American beer and good American wings at a good American establishment. Despite my depression at the loss of summers day light (read: daylight savings time), my mood was immediately brightened upon my entry in to this establishment. Sitting down at the bar, I was promptly greeted by bartender Linda who informed me that this night was the night of half-price chicken wings. My cohort and I rejoiced at the occasion and celebrated by ordering two plates. They were most delicious -- I might even say they rivalled McGarvey's or O'laughlin's. Buffalo wings fried to crispy morsels smothered in irresistible sauce; Chesapeake wings deserving of the Chesapeake gods! To die for. All of it. Our meal ended with the most delicious of warm oven baked bread assisted by the most delicious home made honey butter. My taste buds were literally cuddled in to submission by the elegance of the flavor duo upon my tongue. In short, my soul literally cried tears of pure and unadulterated joy after my experience at this establishment. If you are anywhere within three states of this place, go here immediately.

Best wings outside of Buffalo! They really missed it with the Beef on Weck, though. I was thrilled when I saw it on the menu. While the beef was good, the bread was not close to right. Kimmelweck is supposed to be crusty, not soft. The crusty bread holds up to the moist beef. This bread was so soft the whole bottom bun had disintegrated by the time it got to my table. I had to either flip it upside down and eat the sandwich open-faced or eat it with a knife. Please fix the bread! I would LOVE a legit Beef on Weck locally.
It does not even deserve one star. Went there for lunch. Service was horrible. The waitress was too busy flirting with the manager to help of three tables. My taco was horrible it was pieces of plain chicken in a taco shell with no sides. My moms crab cake was small and expensive and mostly filler. I won't be there again. You can get better food for cheaper.
Mediocre chicken sandwich (at best). TERRIBLE french fries. The were obviously fried earlier in the day, sat out, and then re-fried when my order was put in. My meal was comp'd - so there's that redeeming factor.

I love this pizza place and have been eating here for years. Their sub's are really good and they usually have awesome specials
Maybe the pizza is good, BUT we took out 1) boneless chick wings, and 2) Italian cheese steak. Have you ever heard of BREADED chick wings? Neither have I - so these were 1"x1.25"x1.5" nuggets @ 12 for $10. Go to McD instead. However, was pleasantly surprised by the 12" sub ($10) which had plenty of meat. Unfortunately the clerk didn't ask what I wanted on it and I didn't think to say (sorry, I don't get out much), so wasn't as good as could have been.
Excellent pizza. Very fair price for good quality pie. Service is consistently good. Had tried this place years ago and recently returned, very happy I did. Great pizza.

Yomato Sushi Resturant

I've been to Yomato a handful of times over the years, but more recently it was the last two times that turned me off. A few months back I ordered carry-out. I presented one of those $2 off of $10 coupons and the owner seemed to have an attitude about it. Not sure why because I spent over $40. I looked in the bag when I got in the car and there was half of a small ramekin of soy sauce and no wasabi... for a bunch of sushi. I was mad, I ended up going to the grocery store to buy some. The sushi tasted okay. Experience #2... My boyfriend and I decided to dine-in at Yomato. The owner greeted us and sat us down in booth. It was kind of weird though, we were in the dark while the other part of the restaurant was more lit. We ordered a few rolls. The sushi was bland/tasteless and the wasabi was too. We globbed it onto our rolls and still no kick. The fish was kind of warm and not firm. The spicy tuna roll had seasoning poured on top of it, instead of mixed together. Nothing about it was spicy. The owner was too busy chatting with others to notice we needed plates and a drink refill. We won't be going back. I've given this place chances, Joss in Annapolis continues to shine.
Excellent sushi. Although the atmosphere is a bit dated, they make some of the best sushi I have had on the East Coast. The staff is very nice and friendly. They have the best green tea! I have eaten here for 9 years and the consistency and quality is outstanding.
I ordered sushi for the first time here due to a Groupon take-out deal. When I went to pick it up, the woman at the register was on the phone taking an order and the man next to her did not acknowledge me. So I patiently waited for the woman. When she got off the phone, she did not acknowledge me either. I initiated the conversation and told her I was picking up my sushi order. I was shocked at the price of my order. I had gone online before I went to pick up my food to estimate how much my order was. Even though my Groupon was accepted, it was $15 more than I had expected. I paid it anyway, but looking at the quantity of sushi and the amount I paid when I had gotten home, I'm certain it wasn't right. I felt ripped off. The quality of the sushi was just OK. The sushi tasted fresh, but the rice wasn't very good. The rice was a bit dry and flaky, not sushi rice. Since I only ordered sushi takeout, I can not review the dining experience or food other than sushi. Needless to say, there are far better places around the area to go for sushi and better customer service.
