First when I got there, there was a 15 minute wait but that is to be expected of any dinner in Annapolis on a Sunday morning so I was not upset. The thing is that there is only 1 small bench that is considered a waiting area so about 13 people are trying to huddle in this little area to wait to be seated which isn't the best but not a deal breaker. Once I was seated my waitress immediately asked what I wanted to drink and had it out o me in seconds and then took my order of pancakes, eggs, bacon, and hash browns and was on her way. 10 minutes later my food arrives, which was surprisingly fast considering it was so busy. The pancakes were medium size but quite delicious, the eggs were pretty bland my a little pepper fixed that, the bacon was not that great and felt kind of rubbery but still tasted pretty good, and the hash browns were great. Overall it's just like any other Denny's I suppose, pretty good place to eat if your on a budget.

This place is busy for breakfast! We waited a bit before we got a table. When we were seated I ordered coffee. The waitress brought me the cup of coffee complete with someone else' lipstick marks on it. I showed it to her and she brought it away. When she returned with the cup, the lipstick was gone from the spot it was, but then there were streaks of pink on the other side of the mug....so instead of getting me a clean cup she just wiped off the lipstick but not such a thorough job. I didn't say anything, but just dipped my napkin in my water and scrubbed the cup before drinking from it. Ordered pancakes with blueberries alongside the Human Torch which I am VERY glad I did. The HumanTorch arrived on a very hot skillet and was too hot to eat for around 20 minutes or so. I ended up moving pieces from the skillet onto my pancake plate just to cool it off in order to eat it. Although the description sounded lovely, in reality the food was not edible. I picked away at it, but the food was just pure hot... like suicide wings. I didn't enjoy it at all. I felt sick for the rest of the day, and I won't return.

I came in recently for breakfast and damn they actually fixed the place up. I remember looking the same for at least 25 years or more. Sadly, the food did not get an upgrade. Terms like mediocre and subpar come to mind for me. While cheap, the food reminds me of something I buy in the frozen section of the grocery store. I ate at eggcellance recently and man the food there blows Danny's out of the water! The employees must be very loyal because I have seen a lot of the same faces throughout the years. No disrespect to them, but I can't imagine tips being that great there.

Quite possibly the worst service I've ever experienced anywhere. Let's see: Waited 10 minutes from being seated until waitress acknowledged us. After pouring coffee, no silverware or cream provided, had to ask for it. There were two of us, and my companion's food was brought out 5 minutes before mine. While I waited my coffee was empty and the server paid zero attention and could care less. My food was brought out and had to ask for more coffee and syrup, which seemed to inconvenience the staff. Waited 10 minutes for the check. Haven't left a place without tipping for a long time, but did so here and felt no guilt about it whatsoever. Will absolutely never return here and may in fact never go to another Denny's again after this experience.

This has the worst service ever!!! Came here on a Saturday for brunch. There was a line as usual but the hosttess took her time in seating us while there were 6 empty tables. We got seated after 20 mintues, then we waited for our order to be taken for 30mins. Thank God our food came out after 10 minutes. Good comfort food but lousy, terrible service.

So, I was on my way from Nordstrom to Whole Foods starving to death since I had not had time to eat before leaving home. Denny's driveway was right there inbetween calling to me to give them a try before I passed out from hunger. I know I am a bit of a food snob and there must be lots of people who like this kind of food, but then there are lots of people supporting Chef Boyardee too... Coffee was awful, the shredded frozen potato side was tasteless with a nasty texture, the bread for the toast was the cheapest quality, and the cheese omelet was rubbery. But the worst of all was the fact that they did not even have the option of butter, only the artificial margarine style topping that comes out of a chemistry lab. Super yuck. I won't be back to try anything else and the reason I am giving 2 instead of 1 stars is that I noticed some hamburgers coming out of the kitchen that looked like they might actually be decent. So, maybe the lunch fare is better?? I'm afraid I will never know...

The food was good, for standard chain breakfast food. But for a Sunday morning, the place was terribly understaffed. I think three waitresses for the floor, and one for the counter. Lots of people waiting to be seated or waiting to pay. I was not offered a refill on my coffee even once.

Denny's has always been a great place for me and the group to go on a Sunday morning after a long Saturday night. Recently I have seen a great decline in service and food quality. Our orders are never right. It always takes a ridiculous amount of time to get our food, and drinks are always empty. I always get the same thing. Chicken salad. Shouldn't be to hard right? Wrong, out of all the orders it usually takes the longest. Never comes with the bread and avocado like its supposed to. After waiting a great amount of time for our food that always comes out wrong going to pay is always a big ordeal. For some reason asking for a military discount is frowned upon here. We get the roll of the eyes and big sighs as if we are asking for something that's nearly impossible to do! Denny's I have to say that you used to be a great place for a group of friends to recoup after a long night, now its just not worth the drive, the wait, and the money. Don't worry though you won't be handing out anymore military discounts for this group of sailors. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Came in on a Sunday morning....I have three things to say. Save the work place drama for after work....or at least go into the kitchen to film your MTV pilot. However the stench when you walk in is subtle but unbearable. Sweaty feet mixed with the undeniable scent of vomit. Given, I did come in on a Sunday morning, I half expected there to be more people trashed from the night before. But I suppose they came in the night before for their late night dining. The food is alright and service is okay. Just like everyone else says, it's quality you'd expect from Denny's.

Once you get in here and get a table, everything is smooth sailing. We had a great server who was very attentive and friendly. The food was the consistent, hearty fair I look to from Denny's and I had to restrain myself from some attractive items I saw arriving at other tables due to a new commitment to eat more healthy. My friend and I were starving and I was happy to find that although very busy, the kitchen was on the ball and our orders came out quickly. Docking from significant stars here though as this is singularly the most irritating business I've ever tried to get into. Its impossibly located and we had to drive way out of our way and then cut across the Pier One parking lot because of the divided road with no turn access from the opposite side of the street. I have an SUV and actually considered driving across a small field to get there when our second attempt to figure out how to access the parking lot failed. Lots of folks waiting around for a table at noon on a Sunday, so if you're heading there for your post prayers pancakes, be prepared to mill around in the far to small waiting area.

This Denny's saved me from starving in Annapolis. I was here on a business trip, and not knowing that nothing is open late, I was ready to leave town until I found a McD's. Luckily, I turned the corner and the bright, savory Denny's sign lit up my night. Thank you, Denny's. That said, the food here is what you would expect of Denny's. The service was good and the waitress was friendly. I had so much food. I just kept eating and eating like a baby.

My boyfriend and I love Denny's and go quite frequently. We had been to this location several times before and had never had a problem, but then on July 5, 2014, we walked in at about 3:00 p.m. and stood in front of the register waiting to be seated. Business was very slow, with about four tables occupied in the entire restaurant, and there was no one in front of us waiting to be seated. There were three employees within four feet of the seating area/register. All three of them looked directly at us several times but never said a word. The one directly behind the register continued cleaning silverware, while looking directly at us, and not once did she or anyone else say ANYTHING, not even "hi," much less ask us if we wished to be seated. After about a full five minutes of total bewilderment at the fact that we were being completely ignored by at least three employees, we walked out and will never return to this location again.

We like this Denny's, it's fast and clean and in a convenient place! We usually go on a Sunday Morning for breakfast and park in Pier One so we dont have to drive all the way around. It's a typical Denny's otherwise, but I have always enjoyed the service when we go. I do recommend this location!

I have said it and retold it, over and over again. Denny's is good for breakfast place but not all Denny's are good; If you can keep it clean and organize, Denny's would be all right.

What's there to say about Denny's...it's "mood food" and it's inexpensive. Service is usually pretty good and food tends to come out quickly as long as its not slammed in there. My only complaints are..it could be cleaner. A serious deep cleaning crew should come in there and once over the whole place. Next time you're there look at the windows. They are caked with crust! Super gross. And the last complaint is something that the staff can't really do anything about...we live in Edgewater and getting to Denny's is soooo inconvenient. We have to go all the way down to the hospital and come up around the mall to turn right into Denny's. I wish they had a back way to get in there from Riva rd. But I'll make the drive to avoid the new Ihop in Edgewater.

Fast, yummy breakfast here. Just what you expect from any Denny's. My hubby and I come here when we are craving a full breakfast on weekends. We sit at the breakfast bar most of the time because you get faster and more attentive service. During our past visit, I noticed that the servers do not help each other out. No help with food running. It was to each their own, which I find really sad and selfish especially since I could see the food slowly dying in the window. I'd really like to see that changed. Teamwork is so important especially for this Denny's because I'm pretty sure it's a magnet for tourists. Also, the current manager on duty was not impressive. Instead of helping his servers out (some triple sat and others running around with their heads cut off and food dying in the window) he was busy trying to change the channel on the TV or ignoring the fast forming line at the register to cash people out. I was not impressed and felt bad for the servers. The other major thing I really want to see changed is the interior. This Denny's needs a SERIOUS makeover. It looks EXACTLY the same when I was in high school (late 1990s). Dear owner of this Denny's, It's 2012! Modern it up! Get rid of the glass enclosed dining area that used to be the smoking section. Give your servers a place they can really enjoy looking at and working in! And give us customers a more comfortable place to enjoy our food!

Super friendly server took our order quickly and let us know that it was kids eat free night! I love a deal! It's typical Dennys fare so it's nothing to write much about unless it's really good or bad.

I came here on a Friday around noon, it wasn't that busy and I was able to get a table quickly. Our waitress was very kind and took our order quickly and served drinks immediately. I ordered the Grand Slam for 6 dollars a great price. Our food came within 5 minutes I was surprised since I'm used to a 10-12 minutes wait. The food was great, I loved how they cooked my eggs and the pancakes and hash browns were good as well. I'm not sure how this compares on the weekend but I received great and quick service and I will come back again when I'm in the area :)

While my car was in the shop, my friend and I dined here for breakfast. I had what I always have at Denny's...Moons Over My Hammy. However, I was surprised that Denny's now offers the half option. Portion control is a good thing, right? Yes, it is. "Yes, I'll have the half Just double up on the hashbrown" Almost there, Larry. Almost. This Denny's was typical as with the others. However, something must've happened to one of their front windows and was now boarded up. Usually, that would have been ignored except we were seated right in front of that boarded area. Almost, Denny's. Almost.

I've been to quite a few Denny's in my time but this is probably the worst. Mind you the food was okay but the service was horrendous. This is the second time I had been there and the first was pretty bad but I figured it was just a bad day. Unfortunately we got the same waitress who was even worse this time. She was waiting two tables and apparently two tables down they seemed a bit upset since they'd been waiting for some time. We didn't order anything complicated and she even mentioned how easy our order was. It took 15 minutes for here to bring our drinks and she messed them up! It took another 20 minutes for our food and she brought out our appetizers and meals at the same time. Listen, I am all for hiring the mentally challenged bu this chick was just plain stupid. Through all this we witnessed a drama unfolding with the kitchen, busboy and waitress. All along the manager is just counting his money. WTF! We finally managed to flag down the manager from his busy schedule and mentioned the horrible service. He took some money off but frankly that didn't make up for the terrible service. Oh yeah, they could use a little updating as well. The place looks like it hasn't been remodeled since 1790 - I meant 1970...my bad! Stay away if you can.
