Was very impressed with my first visit to Morocco. Was pleased to find that even on a Friday night, they had a 3 course dinner deal for $20 going on. Usually, I expect to see these promotions midweek. For this price, you were able to choose from 2 appetizers, then a Moroccan salad, and then any dinner on the menu. For the appetizers, my date and I chose the hummus which is served with plenty of pita bread and the crunchy pita pieces. I was amazed at how good the hummus was! It was as good or maybe even better (shhh) than my grandmother's. My dinner was the lamb kabobs and they were cooked to perfection. My date had the Chicken Saiid which was extremely flavorful. Overall, a great meal and a great value. Service was friendly and attentive. Decor was better than average - think exposed beam ceilings, hookahs on display, etc. Morocco's beat my expectations and was better in almost every category over El-Basha. Will be back!

This may be a good Lebanese or Syrian restaurant, but it's definitely NOT Moroccan. In my thirty years of living and working in Morocco, I've never seen a Moroccan cook falafal, hummus with tahini (in fact Moroccans don't even have tahini), stuffed grape leaves???? (for heaven's sake), or chicken said. I was so annoyed with the name that I couldn't judge the food fairly. Maybe good food but definitely NOT from Morocco. I think they're just capitalizing on the Morocco craze that seems to have sprouted up. Bring on the tajines, zailouk, kefta, harira!!!

loved the full bar and the super nice service. the food was pretty disappointing, with the exception of the grape leaves--those were great. the falafel was terrible.

Many of the best restaurants in Worcester are on Shrewsbury street, and you can't really go wrong with any of them. We were in the mood for something different, and the Morroco delights. We started off with their Mezza appetizer, which allows you to choose 4 appetizers from their list. What a great way to get a broad sampling of middle eastern food that you might not otherwise try. The stuffed grape leaves were the BEST EVER. For those of you who may have had less than perfect stuffed grape leaves in the past, try these. They are perfect. Tender grape leaves surounding a stuffing mixture that is just phenomenon. Our favorites were the Kibbi balls - cooked to perfection - fried balls filled with ground meat and spices. The appetizers in the mezza are plentiful and it could be a great meal in itself. The Chicken Schawarma and Swordfish kabobs were our entrees. The rice pilaf was also cooked perfectly with the right level of tenderness, butter, and salt. The fish was done just right, not dry, and the flavors were complimentary. The chicken schawarma was served in a dish, not in a pita. As we enjoyed the meal the belly-dancer arrived and performed. Having seen something like this at Epcot, these shows can be quite hokey, but this was tastefully done. The atmosphere in the Morocco is ideal for a romantic night out. It's like you just stepped into the middle east. The high ceilings and intimate decor make it an ideal date restaurant. I will be going back again and again. This is a great find.

Went to Morocco's for the first time this weekend and really enjoyed it. I've only tried Middle Eastern food once before and wasn't overly impressed, so I wasn't sure what to expect - but I am happy to say I was pleasantly surprised. My date and I each got the three course meal (appetizer, salad, and entrée). The hummus is the best I have ever had - I only wish I could replicate the recipe. For my entrée I chose the chicken port saiid and found it to be very flavorful and delicious. My date had the lamb ka-bob - I've never had lamb before, but tried a bite and found it to be very good. The atmosphere was nice and the service was friendly and pleasant. I would definitely recommend Morocco's

Had a very nice experience at Morocco, don't let the name fool you it is Lebanese food! A bit on the expensive side once you include drinks but very good food. Haven't been out to dinner in Worcester before and didn't know what to expect but the restaurant was very nice, a refurbished brick building with high exposed ceilings and a nice big open space near a bunch of restaurants on Shrewsbury St.. We started inside and had some very good appetizers including stuffed grape leaves, hummus with meat, a meat stuffed pastry of some kind, and spicy cheese with tomatoes. Entrees were tasty but the people who got the eggplant house special and quail wished for more spices were added since our beef Shawarma was so tasty with its 7 spice rub. The belly dancer was perfect, close enough to enjoy but not so on top of you felt like you were getting a lap dance. We ended the night smoking a hookah pipe outside (you can only enjoy them in the outdoor seating. Wouldn't rush to do it over and over again but it was interesting to try out and worth the $20 we paid. Overall I'd definitely go back, not night after night, but definitely go back on a special occasion or to take some guest somewhere different than the usual fare.
