I am glad to see that I am not the only one who had a bad

Been here twice and had burgers and beer both times. Fantastic! I had the Hangover Helper my first time (angus beef burger with cheese, onion rings, and a fried egg) which was unreal. Today, I had the stuffed blue cheese and carmelized onion burger and I had a foodgasm. It melted in my mouth and was full of flavor. Great ambiance as well (a pub, not a fine dining restaurant mind you). Great beer list on tap and a killer bloody mary. Service was excellent and the price won't empty your wallet. My new favorite sunday afternoon spot on the north shore!

Have been here a few times. My biggest complaint is the sloooooooow service. The prices are a touch high, but every time we have been there the food has been very good. I agree with some of the other comments, it's not the most comfortable place to dine out. You do feel a little like your bothering the wait staff.

Visited the brick yard last week to celebrate a friend's birthday. The waiter was overwhelmed and the manager had to step in. The food is average. Nothing to get excited about. I ordered a chicken parm sandwich that came with fries because I wasn't asked if I wanted a different side. The chicken was paper thin and tasted just ok. The fries were cold and most likely from a frozen bag purchased in bulk. The food arrived at my table cold because it sat on the counter for 15 minutes while the waiter was mia. I don't like complaining so I just ate the sandwich, left the fries and left. Waiter never asked if everything was ok. Too bad. This place has such potential.

My boyfriend and I went out to dinner last night to the brickyard in Woburn & we had a great time. It was a Wednesday afternoon and there was a live band playing outside. There was outside & inside seating available so we chose the indoor seating & were seated immediately. Within minutes our server greeted us and took our drink order. I got a sangria and my boyfriend got a blue moon. The drinks came in a plastic clear cup. I thought it definitely went with the vibe of the restaurant. We ordered beef teriyaki for starters & it came with 4 beef teriyaki sticks with little bit of salad. For dinner we got the pulled pork sandwich and the Arugula di Parma pizza. I loved the fact that the menu gave options of making your own pizza and burger! Our server was extremely nice and always checked up on us. Overall we had a great experience. Side note: there's free parking in the back of the restaurant

Live close by and have stopped by for drinks a few times on a Saturday night. Definitely a locals bar but a very nice locals bar. Everyone was friendly and drinks were priced as expected. Didn't try the good so can't speak to that.

Every time I go here I have a different experience ... but they've all been good. It's got a fun/funky downstairs bar scene, good food in a semi-small upstairs area, and a standard bar upstairs. But it's a great spot for parking downtown for dinner on a weekend night.

This place has a great menu. I've tried several types of burgers and pizzas and have yet to be disappointed. However... The other day, I ran into a problem with the staff. In particular the manager. I had ordered a burger and beer. While waiting for the food to arrive, I noticed that the glass was dirty. There was what appeared to be tomato sauce on the inside of the glass. I was a little grossed out that it took me a few sips in to notice, but these things happen. I brought it to the attention of the manager and that's when things fell apart. My account is as follows: Manger: Hi can I help you. Me: Yes, I noticed that my glass was dirty. Manager: Oh? Um.. What do you want me to do? I guess I could get you another glass. Me: Yeah, it's kinda gross. Manager: (Shrugs) I'm sure it's clean. He had barely glanced at the glass and pretty much just called me a liar. Me: It's clearly dirty - Why don't you look at it? Manager: Well, our machine sanitizes the dishes... Me: I understand that, but it's a machine! Don't you think at the very least there should be a visual inspection of the glasses before you use them? You know, just incase the machine missed something or in the event something is spilled on them AFTER they've been taken out of the machine? Manager: (Shrugs again) I don't need to look at it. I'm sure it's fine. We wash everything. Maybe it's just dried foam. It was at this point that I got infuriated. But stopped myself from saying anything else. I didn't see the point in making a scene. In short I don't think I'll go there again anytime soon. (I would have given 4 stars if not for the manager)

I am completely and totally disgusted with the service I received at the brickyard restaurant today. I do have a food allergy that I had explained to the waiter. The fact that the Cook/Chef or waitstaff WOULD NOT accommodate me at all was very infuriating. Now, I have been to this establishment several times over the years and I have never been refused service nor refused to be accommodated. I am allergic to tomatoes and when I order pizza (white, of course) and never had this issue. The chef/cook refused to clean the utensils and an area to prepare my food. I was with a friend who actually works in the food industry and she was appalled by what we were being told AND what she saw. Our waiter besides blaming the kitchen staff for me not being able to order food, took French fries off an order that the bartender was bringing to a customer. I mean, SERIOUSLY???!!!!!????!!!

Best buffalo chicken pizza anywhere, ever. Talk to Maaahk at the baaah--he'll hook you up. WICKED GOOD PIE.

The reason for 1 star is that the "grilled" chicken over my salad was microwaved, frozen chicken. I can tell when I'm eating a juicy, off the fire, piece of fresh, not frozen, chicken...and this was not.

I was really disappointed with my last experience here. I had come here with friends a couple of years ago and had a great time enjoying drinks and apps in the downstairs bar area. My boyfriend had never been and wanted to try it out so we came here last week and it was a shit show! It was a Friday night and there was a live band outside which was cool, but all the windows to the restaurant were open and it was just a noisey mess, way too loud. So we get seated and at first our waiter seemed nice, and then he just like disappeared on us, waited too long to order, too long to get drinks, too long for our food, which when we got it, was cold a flopped down on the table quickly as our waiter went ghost on us again. Also, he gave an attitude when we asked for ANYTHING, especially when I asked for the crushed red pepper back that he took off of our table in front of us to give to the table behind us without asking..it was just weird! He avoided us, never once asked if we needed anything, We had to flag his ass down every time and he would try to avoid us. We asked for ranch dressing for salads that we got, 15 minutes later, he threw it down on the table. It's like, yes, I get your busy but this is your job, figure it out and make it happen. It was so unorganized. The kid was obviously stressed because the staff just seemed so unorganized. I was STARVING too, so that could have attributed to my opinion, but if you are looking for a relaxing environment and courteous wait staff , stay away from here. If you wanna get some drinks and get shitfaced with your friends at the bar, this is your place. P.S. the place seemed dirty and the oil and parm cheese smelled and tasted like paint.

Went on a Friday evening. The ambience was great. They have A nice patio area to sit. Though there was a waiting for it when we went. Since we were hungry we decided to sit inside. We were seated by the window and have no complains. The best thing I liked about the menu was that it had great food options. We ended up ordering wings for apps , sandwich and chicken for main course and we liked what we ordered. Drinks options were also decent. Service was okay not the greatest but I would definitely go back again.

Not the first time we've visited. Last night One problem was that the waitress forgot our starter and brought the entrees. We sent them back until we received and finished the starter. However the gluten free crust pizza was a disaster when she brought it back. The"crust" was an undercooked soggy mess. I don't know if sending it back caused it to become soggy or if it was that way to start. Either way don't order the GF crust for pizza.

Went there and got pizza and apps with a friend. I thought the pizza was amazing for a place that looks like a chain restaurant. Pricewise I think they are a little expensive but they do make a mean drink and the burgers that another table got looked amazing.

Burgers are good. Wait staff is great (especially bartender Chris) Like the variety and the live music on wednesdays

I found it strange that there were so many reviews with negative comments on the service. I've probably been here 4 or 5 times now, each time with at least 3 people, and one time my young nephew even came. The service was great every time, and they were very accomodating for my nephew bringing coloring materials and chocolate milk right away. No problems there, but maybe I just got lucky. Food has been great every time as well. Not spectacular, but good pub food for sure. Burgers are good, and kind of ridiculous. Pizza was very good. Apps were all great. The only thing I really didn't like was the beer selection. I think the best thing they had was Sam Adams, which isn't terrible, but no other good beer choices.

Stopped in this past Friday for a quick bite to eat just before 8pm. Waited at the host stand for a few minutes and when I was greeted I asked if we could sit outside. We were told it would be a few minutes. Once our table was ready, the manager threw 4 menus on a table (there were two of us) and walked away. okay, so counting isn't his strong point. Over the next 10+ minutes, 2 or three waitstaff walked right past us and we were never greeted. My boyfriend went back inside to alert the manager, and he got offended that we were questioning why we hadn't been greeted. He clearly didn't care about our business and was extremely rude and flippant. We left and won't be returning. We wish we had read the other yelp reviews and tips before arriving - avoid this place at all costs!

This place was like a middle-schooler invited you to their house and said "hey let's see if we can make sub sandwiches!"

  • Monica B.

I'm surprised to see such low ratings. I enjoyed my visit to The BrickYard. There is a parking lot behind this place and on street parking as well. I've had the Mediterranean and veggie burger, Angus Steak tips and the Parma Proscciuto Pizza. All was great! The place is somewhat overpriced though, I mean, they're located in Woburn. Not in Boston.

  • Greg B.

Great family meal. Staff was very friendly and attentive. High quality, budget-friendly food. Gluten free pizza was outstanding. Regular pizzas were also perfect. Thin crust was crispy with delicious, quality toppings. The burgers were juicy and the unique choices were wonderful. A treat was a combo of marinated turkey and steak tips. Tender and bursting with flavor. Even the salad was complex with egg, bacon and a gentle vinaigrette and the steak fries were hearty and cooked right. Home made meatloaf was also great. Nice wine selection, too. This place could compete in the city with no problem.

  • Mel S.

They do not serve people from out of state, even with legal IDs. The manager refused to serve us without even looking at our identification. I travel to Woburn often for work and have never been declined service because of my ID, here or anywhere in my travels. There are a lot of business travelers who stay in hotels nearby, so this "policy" of theirs surprises me. Policy or not, the manager was unacceptably rude. The waitresses were nice & apologetic, but I didn't stay for a meal.

We came in last night, Friday night, at 8:00, checked in at the hostess station. The gentleman handed me a notification gadget and said something I didn't catch. I gave a confused look, but he just turned back to the conversation he was having with a server (not a work convo). I walked outside to my husband with our little gadget, not knowing how long we were going to wait. While standing there, not one, but two grumpy lady servers smacked me with the door. Once our gadget went off, which was less than 4 mins, we were brought to a banquet that sat about 5, passed two tables for two. The guy threw the menus down and walked away. We sat at the sticky table for 10 minutes while our sourpuss waitress passed back and forth. Finally, she came by, deadpan, and asked us if we wanted a drink. We ordered drinks. She came by again. And left two setups on the edge of the table. So. We set our own table. This type of service kept up. We should have left. From the time we sat until we were served, was a whopping 45 minutes. Dinner was supposed to be a medium black and blue burger and a a portobello mushroom burger. What arrived was a limp cold mushroom, soaked in vinegar on a dry bun, and a tepid charcoal-black-burnt burger with yellow blue cheese. I kept forgiving the lousy service hoping the food would be worth it. She (server) was only at our table four times collected drink and food orders and dump them on the table. Never asked how it was, did we need anything else, nothing. I could pass it off if it was busy. But there were empty tables when we got there and more emptied during our endurance test. No stars for this restaurant, but Yelp says I need to do stars so I'm highlighted one. Parking behind the restaurant was good. My advice to the staff: if you have a nasty attitude, don't go into the hospitality business.....just my opinion.

Pizza was tasty, wings were pretty good too. Was in town for business and picked this one even with the lower yelp score. Food was good, beer was cold and you can't got wrong with a shipyard pumpkin ale. Service was fine. Timely and attentive and the place was full. Would definitely go back again.

So where do i begin...unless you are at the bar you will be completely ignored. The waitress will come to every single table except. Extremely poor poor customer service. Maybe instead of updating the menu they should update the waiters and waitresses. Perhaps a class on how to make a customer welcome would be the first step. In regards to food I give it a B. Okay not remarkable but would come back again because I live slightly nearby for the hangover burger which is their saving grace.

So, I actually like the food here. I've sat at the bar and things are good. However, got seated and watched two waitresses completely ignore us. No hello, no I'll be right with you. One waitress was actually eating! At 6pm. Really?!? We walked out. Couldn't believe how rude.

I picked up a burger here today. First time at this store; it looks nice and trendy. Perfect to sit outside on a warm day. I always ask for my steaks and burgers to be "well done-not burnt", I rarely get it that way. Everyone keeps burning it. But these guys did a good job, and all the condiments were in neat order. I paid $12, which is a great price for the amount and quality of the food.

This place is tough because you WANT it to do well and be better then it is but in the end they struggled on numerous fronts. Decor: Really nice! Absolutely gets a 10 for this. Service: We were taking a little long to decide on what we wanted and the waitress gave us some space which was nice..but then disappeared for 20 minutes. The place was empty and we asked for a few more minutes, but our menus sat in a pile on the edge of a table for over 10 minutes. Each time we ordered drinks (beer or water) it took 10 minutes to get, and the bar was 4 feet away. Each time food or beverage was brought over the server had zero idea which person it went to (even though they took the order). We also had to ask for water three times. Food: You could tell somewhere there was decent food in all this but unfortunately it all fell short. It seemed to me like a lot of the restaurants on "Restaurant Impossible' where someone is just not checking what is going out the door. Everyone meals ranged from piping hot to cold cold. My burger was overcooked (but was actually very good) with cold soggy sweet potato fries but my friends regular fries were so hot and dripping with oil she had to wait to eat them and towel them down. The steak tips on my wifes salad were also overdone and VERY tough and chewy. The basis is there for this to be a really popular and wonderful place but unfortunately with its current management it doesn't seem like that will happen. The service is in desperate need of an overhaul and while the food needs more careful oversight and quite possibly better training for the staff in there.

I don't know why this place gets such bad reviews. Service issues can always be fixed. Whoever designed this bar knows what they are doing. Back bar lighting is beautiful. The downstairs bar has a cool lounge feel. The food is awesome. Loved the bison burger and Quattro Formaggio pizza! All of the pizzas look amazing. The open kitchen concept is great. Overall fantastic experience all around. I will definitely be back to BrickYard!

Food average to below average and service sucked big time. Our waiter was no where to be found at various points during our dinner...the "substitute" waitress had the personality of a doorknob. Fries were greasy, burger was average. Only good item were the mozzarella planks. Not worth driving out of the way to in my opinion.

Love trivia night. Our regular server is great, but we waited 45 minutes for an appetizer and another hour fifteen for our food. Terrible management. No longer coming here unfortunately.

    (1)
  • Lisa M.

The food was good, but to say the service was terrible is an understatement. The waitress and waiters stand in costumers view outside the restaurant and smoke and then come in and continue to serve you, never washing there hands and smelling like smoke.

Food: 4 stars Service: 1-2 stars Bar: 4 stars We first went here for a meal, and it was good! The two of us split nachos and pizza and they were both tasty and more than enough food. The nachos alone could have been a meal for like 3-4 people, but that's how nachos are. The service was friendly, but extremely slow. Our server randomly disappeared for a long time, several times. Other staff would eventually step in pick up the slack for him, however, we were still waiting a long time at every juncture. After that experience, we came back and went downstairs for a drink on a Saturday night. What a well-kept secret! The bar is really cool, though a little small. The lights are amaaaazing, especially after a couple of their Raspberry Lime Rickeys! The bartender was awesome and kept us happy and socially lubricated. Music was a little loud for the space, but it was a good time for sure. We'll be back here, but not expecting much in a server.

I've been here twice and both times had burgers - the texan and the mediterranean. Both were colossal and delicious with great toppings. However, the service could be better. Our server was very nice but she was way too busy even though the place wasn't full. Overall, the Brickyard has great burgers and atmosphere for a weekday dinner.

Great burgers and good pizza. Decent selection of cold beers. Service on a Monday and Wednesday was spotty. All in all a solid place for lunch or dinner.

  • Andrew Y.

Brickyard has solid food, been here 4 times, perfect when watching a game or on a lazy Sunday during football season. Decor is really nice, didn't think Woburn would have something like this. I've had most of their burgers, better quality beef that most places around, always leave stuffed. The comments on service can be valid, believe I might have waited long on the check once, but my experience here has been good with the staff.

Ambience- 4 stars. Sat outside. Can't say much for the inside, but it looked nice and seems trendy. They have outdoor seating that overlooks a pretty man-made waterfall. Seating is in an alley off a busy street. I didn't feel like I was in Woburn at all. Good job on that! Service -3 stars. Serving staff was friendly and prompt, yet pushy on getting you out so that they can go about their own business... I get it. We are human...ok. Food- 2. Wasn't blown away. Generic bar food platters. Drink- 4. Menu has a lot of options. Drinks are strong. In the end, I'd give it 3.5 stars, but that rating doesn't exist. Overall, It's a good place to go out for drinks.

  • Victoria T.

I go here pretty often with my family, as it is a nice local restaurant that is good for a quick meal. Although the food is usually okay, I would not expect to get a gourmet meal, and I am sure there are other better restaurant than the BrickYard. One time I ordered a tomato mozzarella salad and it took longer to make than my friends steak. I mean were you growing the tomatoes in the back? Overall the food can be questionable and you never know what you may get. So I would suggest trying it out, but no guarantees.

  • Carla M.

Strike 3! The ONLY reason I'm giving this 1 Star at all, is that our waitress was very nice. It was our 3rd visit to the Brickyard and the very last. On all 3 visits at least one meal was sent back and on one visit the same meal was sent back twice. This last time 2 of us ordered Caesar salads, 1 with steak tips and the other with chicken. One had 3 very small steak tips and the one with chicken was so over cooked and dry that you could actually snap the chicken in half! When the waitress returned from speaking with the manager she told us that he said that he would replace the meat for an additional $6.00 per salad! He didn't even have the balls to deliver the message himself, he made the waitress do it. NEVER AGAIN...there are way too many other great places to eat in Woburn than to waste money in this place!

  • Daley H.

The appeal of an outdoor seating area was what drew my husband and I to The BrickYard, but that's where the nicities ended. It took between five and ten minutes for someone to even acknowledge that we were waiting for a table, and another ten to seat us. Once seated, the waitress didn't come over to give us menu's or take out drink order for an additional ten minutes due to the overcrowding of the patio and only two waitstaff taking care of customers. So, thirty minutes in and we didn't have even a drink in hand. Once we were able to get our drinks and place an order, it took another twenty five minutes for it to even come out. The food was cold and soggy by that point, and average at best. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt seeing that it had two and a half stars, but I was certainly dissatisfied. If you're one to like subpar food and service, this the place to go.

I have gone here a couple times. The last experience with chicken tenders sent me to the hospital with food poisoning. It was on New Year's Eve and the doctor said the food must have not be stored properly or was left out. I will never go back here. The bar is different of course, but for the food I would get something without meat. I was sick from 9pm to 7am. I only had one drink.

  • Matthew S.

Terrible food. I usually have a pretty reasonable standard for pizza, and I actually came here by accident looking for a different place. their pizza was worse than my lowest expectations. probably used an entire bag of (low grade) cheese on our one pizza. ugh

    (1)
  • Susie C.

Been here 3 or 4 times. Agree with other reviewer it's a turnoff to see waitstaff eating at tables during pretty mainstream hours. Service at tables is a bit slow too. Pizzas are hit or miss the 4 cheese has been consistently great. Antipasto salad lacking was basically mortadella cheese roll ups and olives. The gluten free pizza was horribly under cooked.

  • Julie F.

I had a burger medium rare. The burger was very good, cooked as asked. The service was good, not overwhelmingly attentive, but appropriate. Captain and coke was not too strong, not too weak. We ate outside and the ambiance was nice. Not stellar, but very good. I would definitely go back. Maybe not a "special occasion" type place, but a good meal at a decent price.

The bar is a bit small for what I expected. The beer menu is a bit standard if you are a craft beer drinker. The food looks great, though.

Since I'm often on the road for work, I have the privilege of frequenting many restaurants. As I later remarked to the Assistant GM and to the GM, I expect a minimum level of customer service when I'm eating out, and this was undoubtedly one of the worst dining experiences I've had in as long as I can remember. I'm going to break this down in stages. #1) The Wait - Our party of 4 called ahead at 7:40pm on a Saturday night. Upon arriving at 8:05pm, we were forced to wait an additional 15 minutes. #2) The Distraction - Our waitress, with the name of Michelina per our receipt, was completely distracted by her daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter for the bulk of the duration of our experience, who were dining at a table adjacent to us. The waitress was so incredibly engaged in only attending to her family, that her 3+ other tables were left neglected in every respect. Advice to Management & Staff: If serving your own family is going to compromise the level of service provided to your other tables, why would you serve your own family? Every once in a while throughout the course of the evening she'd make an abrupt "head jerk" towards the kitchen acknowledging some element that was forgotten which should've been delivered to one of her other (less important) tables. Our drinks came out late, about 15 minutes after we ordered them, and not all at once. Our appetizers were mindlessly forgotten, which the waitress tried to blame on the kitchen initially but later admitted she forgot to put them in the computer. Look, I was a waiter in college. If you're going to ask us to repeat each thing we order, please just use a pen and pad of paper- it will make things much easier on us all. Almost every time the waitress pulled something off our table she'd swipe my face with a cloth (weird, I know). When our food came out, she didn't bother to ask if we needed anything else. One of the folks in our party did not get ketchup for his french fries. The waitress didn't return to check on us until our entrees were eaten, and about 15 minutes after a few of us finished our first round of drinks. The waitress did not offer a sincere apology for anything, and at this point the 4 of us were already exceedingly frustrated... #3) The Drop - Now that Michelina's family had vacated the premises, she may have acknowledged she had to make up for lost time. Likely in an effort to overcompensate for the terrible service provided up till this point, she picked up a few too many dishes from our table that she could not properly balance. Two utensils fell from her grip and slammed into the table, puncturing the battery cover of my expensive smartphone, rendering it destroyed. The waitress mumbled gibberish and nervously squirmed away to the kitchen, leaving a fork on top of my smartphone. In an effort to compose myself and act professionally, I waited about 5 minutes and then asked to speak to the General Manager. The highest ranking employee was an Assistant General Manager named Ryan. For a Saturday evening at a restaurant, I'm not sure why there wouldn't always be a GM on site, but Ryan was a decent a guy who tried to do his best to make it right for us. However, even he could not effectively separate himself from the waitress and her family who he knew rather well (as we overheard him comp'ing their entire meal earlier). Ryan ended up removing about $35 off our tab and I told him that I'd make my way over to Verizon to have them assess my phone's damage the next day and then follow up with the GM. After this moment, our waitress Michelina never apologized or told us to have a nice evening- a total act of irresponsibility and disrespect on her part. #4) Conclusion - I went almost 3 full days without a phone and I won't be coming back to dine at Brickyard for as long as I live.

Very nice looking place, but the service and food weren't worth it. The waitress took 10+ minutes to come over initially, then repeatedly mixed up orders for my friends and I. None of us wanted eggs on our house salads, and they call came over with eggs... Service through the whole meal was terrible. She only came by 5 times (initial, orders, wrong orders, check, collect the check.) We ordered mozzarella wedges, but were definitely not mozzarella. Everyone agreed it tasted and looked more like Provolone. Odd taste. Great marinara sauce though. The food was sub-par. The burger was sort of dry. The fries were undercooked and tasted a little old. The rest of the meal good though (bun, bacon, onion rings, BBQ sauce.) It was odd that their "balsamic" dressing for the salad was just straight balsamic vinegar, not a dressing of balsamic vinaigrette. I don't plan on going back.

Burgers are good pizza not so much. 39 minutes for a pizza with burnt crust and cheese not melted in the middle.

A bunch of us came here for lunch during the work week. Good thing it was when our manager was out of the office because the service was very slow. However, the burgers are quite delicious. They stuff them and add a bunch of toppings. So fattening, so greasy, so good, so having a food coma at my desk. I wish we could make this part of our regular rotation but it would take too long and a bit pricey.

Returned to see if things have changed, but while the lower level bar was busy during game 1 of the Sox series, here's the lead bartender playing Candy Crush Saga or some similar game (we could somewhat see where we sat, waiting for drinks). The second bartender hustled while this guy played for 5-10 minutes at a time. Two "regulars" came in and announced "oh, no, you're addicted..." ---clearly not his first time. Again - food was good, on food, this place gets 3-4 stars.

Rating this place was tough, on one hand the pizza and salad is good. On the oher hand, the prices of the food and drinks leave much to be desired. Beers between 5-7 , wine 8 a glass will send your bill into the triple digit total bill. This is Woburn, not Boston. No excuse for these drink prices

Never have I felt so unwelcome in my life. I mean that, nobody has made me feel like I'm putting them out more than the bartender at Brickyard last night. The man seemed completely overwhelmed with side work to want to deal with us at all. But first, let me set the scene because I can understand how a bartender can become overwhelmed during a crazy service with a full house and possibly understaffed, there was a total of 37 people in the entire restaurant. About six tables of diners and 6 people at the bar. It looked to me to be pretty slow and there were plenty of waitresses and a bus boy working so I really don't know what this guy's problem was. He mumbled "what can I get you" when we first sat down to which I replied "a drink menu" and from there I felt that I was at risk of getting punched if I asked anything more of him. I was completely frightened to ask for a glass of water lest he have to do work for something free. The food was ok. The ambiance was both tacky and bland. I would pay their prices if the service wasn't awful. I'll never return and I won't recommend it.

Three stars because the food isn't bad. The menu has something for everyone, and truth be told my dinner was pretty good. However, as others have said, I too experienced lousy service. We walked in and waited at the hostess desk for about 5 minutes before seeing someone who wanted to help us. 5 minutes isn't long but it's long when you're waiting and NO ONE is helping you. There were servers and other staff just walking by us and another couple parties behind us who were also waiting. One couple left, and we were about to until the host appeared. It also took us a really long time to have a waitress come over, for our drinks to be delivered, for the waitress to come back and take our food order, etc. In the meantime, ALL of the waitresses were just standing around the (open) kitchen area toward to the back of the restaurant, and they were all texting or doing stuff on their cell phones. To be waiting for your server for way too long and then to see that they're all on their phones is really off-putting. The place wasn't even that busy and they all looked like they didn't even want to be there. Did I mention this was prime time on a Friday night? Not a good look, not sure I'd recommend or come back.

Just finished our meal. Martini was great! Steak and cheese "torpedos" were good, but a little dry. The MeatLovers pizza was great! We loved the fresh homemade crust, and plenty of meat. We would definitely go back again.

Talked about this place for a Month prior to going.it was an utter disappointment.waited almost 15 min after sitting down for a waitress.my husband and I were there on a night a new person was training.all I will say to that is, I do understand everyone needs to learn but someone should follow thru.we ordered water and we never got it..ever..I ordered a red sangria tasted premixed. ..it was fair.ordered another one of the same and it was darker and different taste with different garnishes.the rings were mushy and cold.pizza uncooked in the center.one burger ordered med rare was a hockey puck.my turkey burger was the same.we tried 4 items and all were poor the pizza and burgers were inedible.they were taken off the bill.we didn't complain about the rings even though they were awful it seemed to be like a joke..where was the camera?..oh yes.my husband's beer..the 3rd.. came with fruit...it had not been asked for or served with in the prior beer.all in all terrible from A to Z

Worst experience I've ever encountered! Been here multiple times for food and drinks. Got jumped at the bar by 2 people friends of the owner and we got kicked out? They disappeared and we stayed? Any thoughts? Owner kicked us out after we go there 1x a week make sense? Such an awful run place would place would hate to discriminate against there other restaurant. Owner told me to fly a kite in nice words. what a joke!

There's nothing special about this place. The Brickyard is just an excuse to make your burger and pizza pretty looking for the ridiculous price they charge in a Boston nightlife atmosphere. The presentation of their food has no correlation to the the food on your plate should even remotely taste like. My medium rare burger was dry and tasteless. My dish wasn't worth it. Never again.

So, I went here without reading any other reviews first. My wife and I were looking for a place to sit outside on a nice night and I remember driving passed this place a number of times and thinking it looked like a good place to grab a burger. The atmosphere was nice outside (inside looks "ok", but we didn't sit inside). The place is kid friendly as there was plenty of room for a baby carriage next to our table. The service was good too. Unfortunately, that's where my good review ends. We split a house salad and it was ok. I got a Mexican burger and my wife got a buffalo chicken sandwich. My burger was undersized (advertised as half a pound, find that hard to believe) and had canned salsa on top, cheese wasn't melted. It was also cooked well done and I asked for it medium. My wife's sandwich was pre-frozen chicken on a dry bun. Fries were also pre-frozen. Even after all that, I wanted to give this place a second chance as they're supposed to be known for their pizza, as it is a pizza/burger bar. So, we went back last week. Again sitting outside was nice and the service was great, but we were disappointed in the food again. The pizza was a 6/10. It was a little small, but the sauce and toppings were good. Crust was a little soggy. I honestly think this place should stick to one thing and perfect it..pizza OR burgers. And go with the fresh ingredients too. You can really tell the difference. Probably a good place to take the kids and sit outside and not really care about how the food tastes, but if you want a relaxing AND deliciously satisfying dinner, this may not be the place. It needs some work. But they are close.

Nice place to grab a burger. We stopped in around 10pm on a Monday night during the Stanley Cup finals. Our burgers were cooked properly, service was friendly, we left satisfied. The menu covers a good range - pizzas, burgers, bar food, salads and sandwiches. It's clean and the prices are reasonable for what you're getting. Overall, I'd be happy to stop in again.

Nice place. We go for karaoke which is a good time. The downstairs is pretty impressive with their lighting. The person who does karaoke is pretty nice, although it seems like some of the regulars are catered to though. I noticed that one group had multiple people signed up and then switched or doubled up so multiple people had multiple turns which was a little frustrating. The food is okay, the waitstaff is friendly but the noise of the karaoke seems to take away from the service. It might be better upstairs.

So terrible...where do I start? The dirty martini tasted like chemical waste ( really cheap vodka). The pizza sounded promising...right idea, but completely wrong execution ( globs of cheese on cheese). Almost like they thought the only way humans would enjoy their food was if it was completely drowned in fat.

The food is delicious, but the service isn't. They don't have an attitude, so it isn't outright negative; it just might be difficult to get your waitstaff's attention - one waitress was literally staring off into space while my dining partner was trying to call her attention. She was seriously zoned out, right in front of us - kind of odd. Another time, the service was fine, and then another time a different waitress was inattentive again, although not as severely as the first one. I've been here three times and have not been disappointed with food quality, though, from the flatbread pizzas to burgers to generous portions of crispy sweet potato fries (a personal favorite). There is a summer concert series in their outside "brick yard" - I haven't eaten here during those, but I've walked by when it's been happening and it looks fun. The lounge in the basement is chill if all you're looking to do is loungs (aka no dancing). Final verdict: Even though the service isn't great, I will probably still go back for the food since I live nearby, but I can't increase my rating unless the service improves.

The best burgers and steak tips around! Not to mention their pizzas. I have not had a bad meal there yet. Plus the atmosphere is wonderful. Mark and Chris are amazing as is Christine with the karaoke downstairs. I highly recommend!

The food is good but a little over priced. The only thing is that the service here sucks! One time I had my server sitting there eating while while I needed a refill. I didn't get another refill. I left having to get a drink somewhere else. Not going back here.

People's reviews are all over the place, but we had a great experience last night. We got cheese nachos and steak and cheese eggrolls as appetizers. Both were excellent and filling. The nachos were cheesy and crisp, the egg rolls had a really nice taste to them. Our waitress's shift ended during our meal and we were given another server who was friendly as well. My dining companion, who is a vegetarian, got a "build your own pizza". She really enjoyed it. I got a meatloaf sandwich as an entree. I would have loved to eaten the whole thing, but I was full from the appetizers. The lady arrived later to join us and she finished my meal. We all agreed the food was great, service was very good. The don't have any local craft beers on tap.

I'll keep it short. Service was really slow/inattentive, drink was disgustingly strong, but food was decent. I'll probably be back, but not by my picking. And if you're from Woburn you'll probably see someone you know, which can be good or bad depending on how you look at it.

Not really sure whatever one else is talking about as the service we received was very good. The waitress was on top of everything, granite we were one of the first people their and it wasnt crowded at all. We sat outside and ordered the pizza and the chili burger. Both were very good. I personally thought the pizza was better. If i were to go back Id try the bacon and cheese stuffed burger but couldnt because of my guest. But again, the pizza was really, really good. The outside ambiance was nice. 3 stars because it was good as expected but not out of this world. If I was in Woburn again would I go back? Sure.. why not?

The patio at the BrickYard looked like a nice place to sit and have a beer. That pretty much ends the positive things I have to say about this restaurant. Let's start with the drinks -- margaritas and a berry martini that were all overly sweet and obviously made using store bought mixes. Definitely not worth the price or the bother. Appetizer-- onion rings that were like eating a wet sponge. Cold and soggy and really gross. We sent them back. Dinner-- sliders with cold, tasteless fries and a buffalo chicken pizza that was just ok. The breaded chicken on top tasted like something you'd get in the freezer aisle at the supermarket, but the rest of it was passable. The real problems with this place were in the service department. My friend got a container of ranch dressing spilled all over her by our waitress at the beginning of our meal. My friend pretty much laughed it off (she used to be a waitress herself), but the waitress barely apologized. Instead, she said something to the effect of "I've never done that before" and my friend had to ask her for a wet towel to de-ranch herself. I get accidents happen, but when the bill came, nothing had been comped. Not the grody onion rings we had to send back, and not even a drink for my friend with the ruined shirt. That seemed kinda crappy to me. I happened to be looking into the open kitchen while we were waiting for our check and I noticed that someone who looked like the manager (because he was wearing a button-down shirt) was eating and then he blew his nose. He didn't wash his hands and then started stretching out pizza dough. I nearly puked up my pizza and I definitely won't be back.

Overpriced. Filthy. Shithole. You'd think whoever was prepping silverware would notice bright yellow mustard encrusted on a knife. Not at this overpriced shithole. And if they didn't notice the *bright yellow* knife they served my companion, there's no way they were going to notice the remnants of someone else's cheesy meal left on my silverware. 3 out of 4 pieces of silverware we were given were filthy. Fine. Things happen. Quality control occasionally slips. I'd prefer it if it didn't when you're prepping food I'm going to eat, but whatever. However, when we, extremely politely, brought it to the attention of the manager, he kind of shrugged. That isn't the appropriate response. Finding out what went wrong? And fixing? So that the other customers who have entrusted their health to you don't get ill? That would be an appropriate response. We got a shrug. (By the way, if you're looking for affordable, well executed, sanitary, casual american dining that is yummy and has great service check out Not Your Average Joe's.) Instead, later on, we saw this manager putting used order slips *on top* of fresh plates of food waiting on the pass for servers to deliver to tables.

I've been here twice, and I won't be going back. The first experience was OK, and the food was decent but overpriced. Nothing to write home about either way... The second time we got there at 8 and were told there was a 30 minute wait. No biggie, we got (overpriced) drinks and sat outside. $7 for a Sierra Nevada? Ok... Sorry, Brickyard, you're not in downtown Boston so quit the act. Finally went inside and sat down. The waiter came right over, noticed we had drinks, but we ordered some waters. He came back a few minutes later and we put in an appetizer. This was around 8:45. Our appetizer came (cheesy bacon fries), and it wasn't great. At this point, we still hadn't put in our dinner order. At first we were OK with this, because we were in no rush. But then we waited... and we waited... and we watched our waiter walk back and forth past us. We saw another table, seated after us, get their dinner. Another table seated after us got their dinner, and we still hadn't put in our freaking order! This was about 9:30. We tried to flag our waiter down a few times, but he literally did not look in our direction once! We finally got fed up and left $10 on the table and walked out. This was one of the most horrendous service experiences of my life. 45 minutes waiting and NOBODY TAKES OUR DINNER ORDER!?!? The only reason they're getting 2 stars is because the burger I had my first time here was a decent burger. Still, save your money and do not come here.

Brickyard seems like your run of the mill burger, pizza and bar type places, but it is in fact, a tad more classier than that. With an atmosphere of cool lighting and a positive vibe, its a nice place to hunker down to have some good food during the week or on the weekend. Though, it can get a bit noisy after a while, so your experience may hinge on the night you go. Located in the quaint downtown area of Woburn, its a cool little place all in all. Their food selection was pretty large, offering staples in burgers, pizzas sandwiches and the like, but the best option turned out to be their burger menu. With staples and heavily decorated burgers to choose from, they actually offer a third option - building your own. This is a choice that I think most places should offer more. What did I end up going with? Cheeseburger with shaved prime rib on the top. Yes, additional meat was an option when it came to making your own burger. Places that do this are great because they give you choice and gives you just more than a meal. The fries accompanying the burger were pretty great as well. As I am not a huge fan of steak fries, as they tend to get soggier and soggier if you don't attend to them, Brickyard's fries ended up having a nice balance between soft and crispy. The beer selection was pretty standard, but apparently the night we came in, they were transitioning to a new menu and many of the choices were not available. That was a bit of a bummer, considering my first and second choice was no longer part of the drink menu. Their house ale was pretty disapointing as well, as I tried a bit, only going back with open arms to the Stella Artois. They did have a significant amount of interseting and tantalizing cocktails and martinis, which I may have to try next time I am in. This place a great place to grab some friends after a long day to unwind. The food is pretty darn good, but like any place, it can get pretty loud. Despite the noise and the draft beer changing, Brickyard is a solid place to grab a bite and a drink.

I agree with previous reviewers......the service is horrible @ "The Brickyard"!! I tried "The Brickyard" for the first time. Went for a Sunday afternoon lunch. We walked in and employees (including an older gentleman in his 70's) that looked like the owner, or even a manager, never even made eye-contact with us. He could have said, "Someone will be right with you". Nope! Nothing! Do we seat outselves? Do we wait to be seated? Who knows!!!?? Finally I stopped one of the many waitresses that was walked right by us and asked to be seated. The place was more than half-empty. I could count on one hand how many people were in there eating lunch....maybe 10-tables were full, if that. So, I cannot excuse the rudeness due to it be too busy. Our waitress came over right away, never making eye contact, and asked if we wanted a drink. Salad was good. Big enough for two to share. But, I was charged almost $16.00 for a "Prime Rib Au Jus Sub"??? Which is just a fancy name for a roast-beef sandwich sub. My husband ordered a stuffed burger. Big and messy. For a salad (that was shared), a burger, and a roast-beef sub the cost was almost $45.00. I also agree with other reviewers that the prices are NOT worth the food you get. Food wasn't terrible....food wasn't excellent either. Very mediocre & bland. Fries were excellent. They were Steak Fries seasoned to perfection. Waitress is another story. Once the food was delivered, we never saw her again. My soda was never refilled....and she never asked if we wanted dessert. Once she saw we were done, out came the check. Again, I can always excuse bad service if the restaurant is busy. This place, on a Sunday afternoon, it was not. Manager (or a gentleman in a tie that was walking around and helping) never even came over to see how food was. Chili's and Applebees has managers that walk around to make sure everything is to your liking. Would I go back?? Resounding NO! Would I recommed?? Resounding NO! Much cheaper places with better food and better service around Woburn. Try "Tanner Tavern" across the street.

First things first, we went to eat here at 3 on a Sunday. I understand that is a weird time, so it might put this into perspective. The restaurant is very nice inside, but they had all of the windows and doors open. Now, this was a very mild day in November, but still, it was a bit too cold for that. We started with the Brickyard wings. These are grilled wings with a touch of teriyaki. A touch is right, if the wings didn't have a caramel color, I wouldn't have known the sauce was even applied. They weren't bad, but nothing special. I got the Texas burger, which was ok, but for $11.50, I was expecting better. My wife got the French Dip, which fell into the same category as the burger, good, but not worth the price. The food was underwhelming, but the wait staff was abysmal. Our waitress was nice enough at the beginning, but disappeared by the end. She forgot several times during her shift that appetizers were half price (I overheard her reminder herself) and forgot with me as well. If it wasn't for one of the other waiters stopping by, I might still be there waiting for my check. The Brickyard is a good concept with horrible execution. I don't plan on returning unless they jazz up their menu and lower the prices. I can get the same quality food at the 99 for cheaper with better service and free popcorn!

I went to the Brickyard a few nights ago. This place needs to fire its entire management staff. We ordered two appetizers and three entrees, which you wouldn't think would be difficult to mess up. I was wrong. They served us one of the appetizers and one of the entrees at the same time. Then the second appetizer came out after the remainder of our entrees were served. How frigging hard is it to serve the appetizers FIRST, and then the entrees? Overall, the burgers and pizza were good, but definitely overpriced. The "Brickyard wings" that were promised to be a sweet, tangy treat were absolutely tasteless, and no bargain for $8.50 for 8 wings. It's not a good thing when a food item that bears your namesake is the blandest thing on the menu. Note to chef: add flavor AFTER cooking them because whatever marinade they were sitting in beforehand didn't do anything. Also, our waitress was nowhere to be found the entire night. Our glasses were empty for 10 minute stretches at a time. The last time I checked, this place had a 3-star rating. I strongly encourage you to check out the 30+ filtered reviews, because a majority of them have a 1 or 2 star rating for all of the same reasons I have explained. Those ratings would bring this place down to 2 stars easily. Until I start reading consistent positive reviews about this place, I won't be back.

Went in here for dinner with the family one night and was highly optimistic about the look and feel of the place. Very nice decor and comfortable seating. We figured we were going to have a nice meal as the prices are higher than average for the area. We left highly disappointed. The service here is brutally slow. Everyone just kind of sits and hangs out. It's like the staff is having a party and random unvited guests (the patrons) are sitting in their house. The food is not terrible, but it is greatly overpriced for what you are getting. It took over 30 mins to get drinks brought to the table after ordering them. The food arrived in another 20 minutes. The problem for me with the pizza is the dough, definitely cheap and too firm. They need something thinner for brick oven cooking. It's very loud (mainly the staff) and they had the AC cranked up too high for a fall night. It's not the worst place, but you can easily do better.

I can not believe these reviews- we love the Brickyard! I do agree that the service at the place can be pretty terrible: slow, not very knowledgeable, not that friendly. But the burgers are so phenomenal that I am willing to overlook it. (To put things in perspective, I am a server, so if I am willing to overlook bad service, the food better be pretty awesome). I typically get the bacon and cheese stuffed burger. I am really picky about burgers and this burger is out of this world. I normally steer toward the gourmet style burgers, but what they do is great. I order mine Med or MedWell and they usually get it right. My boyfriend gets the blue cheese stuffer burger but has also experimented with wings, and sandwiches- and he has always been happy. Sometimes his burger is a bit well done (he likes it rare) but we have come to expect that at places. I typically start with a small side salad and I am impressed with the size and what is on the side salad (compared to many places that just throw down some iceberg lettuce) They should really improve the service because if these reviewers are any indication, they are losing customers. The price is not super cheap, but not too overpriced for the size of the portions and the ambiance balance it out.

I've been here about 5 times and can't understand all the bad reviews. Service has never been a problem (maybe it's gotten better recently?) and every burger or pizza I've gotten has been great. I feel like there are some expectation management problems with some of these reviewers. Don't come here if you're expecting really cheap food and drinks! Also don't come here if you're a massive food snob and/or plan on sampling everything on the menu and comparing it to Boston restaurants! If you want really good burgers and pizza, maybe a few beers, Brickyard is your place. If you're expecting something else, go elsewhere.

Anything not in or around Boston usually has a tough time gaining recognition. Those poor suburbs never stand a chance in the food world, what's great for us city dwellers may not be so great on the "other side." But good food shouldn't know any boundaries, I was hopeful Woburn could end up being a great burger destination, but in the end, The Brickyard comes up short. The menu is built around pizzas and burgers, what's not to like? But the burgers have that chain restaurant-vibe. Redundant flavor combinations and the usual tricks, but not much flavor. The Brickyard Stuffed burger comes with bacon and cheese in the middle of the patty, or so they say. Most of the "stuffing" sits atop the burger, with nary a bit or two of bacon and just a touch of American cheese gushing out of the over-cooked burger. Theoretically stuffing a burger is a nice idea, but it just doesn't work here. Again, it's about cooking things properly, I'm looking for seasoning and technique, always. If there had been enough flavor on these ground chuck burgers to compensate for a few technical errors all would be forgiven. But the burger has no crust, with minimal seasoning and certainly not a lot of personality. The burger is smushed between my old nemesis, brioche. Don't let the buttery and shiny bun fool you, it really only makes sense in one out of every ten burgers, and this is not one of them. The fries are amazingly forgettable, I can almost guarantee deriving from the freezer, and lacking any seasoning whatsoever. The Brickyard tries to promise a unique and special burger experience, but with a good portion of the bacon raw and the burger way over-cooked, it makes a special trip outside of the city a big disappointment, especially when the next great burger is at steak.

Im usually pretty understanding and easygoing at restaurants but this place irked even me. We waited for two hours because they screwed up our order and wouldn't seat us after saying our wait would be 25 minutes (was really an hour) Their explanations for everything were clearly BS and we will never come back here again.

I've been watching the construction to this building for over a year.... When we finally heard it was opened (through fb, no banner or advertisements outside), we made it a point to head over and check out this beautiful new venue. Unfortunately the food didn't match the ambiance. I get that this is the first week being opened, but no one really seemed to know what was going on. We arrived around 9pm on Friday, told there was a 15 minute wait although there were about 5 open tables. I asked if we could go downstairs to eat and was told (rather abruptly) it's seat yourself but the full menu is served. It's beautiful downstairs, but it's not Woburn. They have this cool lighted wall art that gave it an aquarium feel, and little ottoman type seating with some lounge couches. But not really where I would sit to eat a pizza or even drink a beer. So back upstairs we went. During our wait we ordered two bud light DRAFTS, guess the price tag on those? Well that's what the bartender did "I think that's $10?" We were seated pretty quickly. The menu was, over priced for the food that was served. For an appetizer we ordered the beef teriyaki sticks. They arrived fantastically fast, but were burnt black on the outside, didn't really taste like teriyaki, the portion was tiny and the garnish belonged at Applebee's. For dinner the man had steak tips cooked medium. 90% of them were burnt crusty on the outside, every single tip was cooked differently, some medium, some rare some well done. No option was given for rice or fries as advertised but it came with rice. The vegetable was spinach, it tasted good but was kinda slimy, like it had been sitting all day. I had the Caesar salad with chicken tips. They croutons were chewy, and lifeless but the lettuce was fresh, with the perfect amount of dressing. However the chicken tips were teriyaki. And although I like a good beef teriyaki skewer, I do not like getting surprised with teriyaki chicken on my Caesar salad. I was ticked, but I wasn't sending it back because it took about 25 minute for our food to arrive. Total meal - 4 Bud Light Drafts, Beef Sticks, Steak Tip Entree and Chicken Caesar Salad $51 All in all we won't be back, until I see the reviews improve. The Brickyard is a gorgeous new place, it's smaller than it looks in the pictures, but the menus is overpriced, the service was slow and the food was below par.

Went over the weekend, service was friendly & fast. Burgers were cooked to perfection & tasty - as were the sweet potato fries. Another plus, everything was reasonably priced. Is it ultra hip & swanky like downtown hot-spots? No.... it's woburn, duh. But if you're looking for great burgers, a couple of cocktails & don't feel like heading to boston.... this is a great spot. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ UPDATE: While i still think this place has potential, I'm taking back a star (from 4 to 3) after revisiting TBY. The service was pretty slow, we waited a LONG time to order, then only 4 of 5 got their meals, the 5th person waited a solid 10 minutes before hers arrived (HATE when that happens!). The music on the lower lounge was too loud (it was a Tuesday, there were maybe 15 people & blaring music wasn't necessary). Finally, i'm fairly certain my cosmo was cranberry juice.

If you want to take a step up from a chain restaurant but want to play it safe with a mediocre dining experience then The Brick Yard is for you. The setting in the Woburn town square is promising. The restaurant is near a large fountain and it sets the stage for an elegant dining experience. The blonde wood, large glowing bar and open kitchen are signs that the establishment was striving for something hip and upscale. Unfortunately, the terrible service, unoriginal menu offerings and ordinary food never lives up to the potential. My sister and a friend of our went on a weeknight for dinner. It took 10 minutes before our waitress came to our table to take our drink order. Throughout dinner and dessert she had to be flagged down repeatedly because she basically ignored our table. When she did finally come by, she would just remove plates without asking if we needed anything else. When we were able to flag her down to request something, she kept forgetting our drink orders, silverware, etc. A decent selection of beers is on the menu, including beer from Dogfish Head and Magic Hat, but the wine list is limited and filled with stock options (Yellow Tail Shiraz? Really? Did the liquor store run out of Sutter Home?). Although the restaurant boasts a large, well-stocked bar no specialty drinks are listed anywhere on the menu. For families and those patrons under the age of 21, there are about a dozen shakes and smoothies offered. Not much variety or imagination has gone into the food menu. There is something for every palate, but the whole menu has a feeling of "been there, done that." Pretty much all of the appetizers are fried--onion rings, fries, buffalo wings, etc. The salads are standard--Ceasar salad that was just romaine lettuce and a few croutons, house salad, some other type of chopped salad that seemed the same as the house salad and a rather pathetic antipasto that is basically romaine lettuce with a few cold cuts on it and some olives. There are burger options with combinations that could be found at any Red Robin or any other burger establishment. The pizza menu offers few surprises, but it is executed fairly well. The crust is crisp, the dough has a nice chewy texture, the red sauce has a nice sweetness to it and is thankfully free of the acid that ruins most chain pizzas, and the size is perfect for sharing. The four cheese, Greek, and buffalo pizza are sure to be crowd pleasers. The dessert menu has the standards: tiramisu, key lime pie, carrot cake, and chocolate lava cake. The presentation of the dessert is lovely, with designs of sauce on each plate. The key lime pie tasted like cheesecake and was missing the citrusy tartness that makes a good key lime pie. The tiramisu had nice hints of rum, light cake, and a creamy texture. It satisfies a chocolate craving without making you feel bloated and heavy afterwards. Bottom line: If you don't feel like waiting for a table at the Cheesecake Factory and you want something a little nicer than Papa Gino's, this is the place for you.

This place puts the rest of the restaurants in Woburn to shame (not that that's hard)! The pizza is a bit on the pricey side, but I've ordered it three times and each time I'm impressed. The waiters have been consistently friendly, but service time is a little slow. I'll keep going back....thank goodness Tanner Tavern isn't my only option anymore!

Okay, I just went here tonight, a Monday (bartender said they've been open for a week), and did not notice anything that would warrant a 1-star review. Maybe they just had a really shitty opening week? Whatever it was, in my opinion they've worked out the kinks. So my buddy and I came in and sat at the bar. #9, Sierra Nevada and Goose Island (among other things) on tap - I realized I was in the right place. My friend was pleased that they have Peroni as well. We both ordered pepperoni pizza, mine with garlic, which was SO good. My mouth still feels burnt, but whatever, it was worth it. I liked the thin crust too. I did notice that part of the crusts looked burnt on other people's pizza though. The bartenders were friendly, good people. And they had the Beatles playing the whole time we were there, although that might not jive well with certain folk (i.e. haters).

So my boyfriend took me for dinner tonight..... The food was good. We tried the buffalo tenders (a little bit crunchy, with sauce that was just hot enough), a burger (which was cooked just right for my taste) and the french dip sandwich (with onion wings-which I would highly recommend). All were pretty delicious! But the place basically has no "waiting area" and made me feel like we were standing over people while they ate or staring at the hostess. I also felt pressured to go to the "lounge" downstairs...but since myself and guy don't drink I didn't appreciate that recommendation more than the first time I heard it. It was also EXTREMELY noisy in there-I felt l

I have been to The Brickyard a couple times now and I love the place! Yes, right now they are brand new and incredibly busy all the time. Clearly Woburn has been waiting for something to liven up the town. The servers do need improvement defintely but they did not exactly get ample time to prepare for how busy they have been. That being said - Everone calm down. The food is absolutely amazing! I cannot stress this enough. I unfortunately have every allergy in the book and the staff was more than accomodating to me. The owner even personally cooked my fries in new oil and made sure my meal was free of allergens! Also, I felt that there prices were comparable and fair. Drinks were the same price as they are everywhere else unless you're at a dive bar - which this place clearly is not! The atmosphere as someone else said isn't Woburn.....thankfully! You absolutely feel as if you're in the city which is nice because you only have to go down the street. Upstairs is wonderful as well, a nice family atmosphere with a view of Woburn common! All-in-all I think The Brickyard is a nice breath of fresh air for this area and I am overly excited to have someplace to be able to go that isn't Boston but is still just as nice. Everyone should check the place out and please have some consideration for how hard they are working to fix all the kinks of a new restaurant without any down time!! They are all great people and this place is going to put Woburn back on the map!

Grabbed lunch with a co-worker on a sunny August afternoon. Waitress/Hostess was accommodating, gave us choice of table/booth. Quickly seated, quick to take order with a pleasant attitude. Pizza (Boscilo?) was nice, big enough to split when along side cheesy-chilly fries. Beers washed down the 'healthy' meal and checkout was timely. I would definitely go back to try out the Burger selection and the downstairs does look inviting. I need at least a coupla trips to include dinner and beers w/appetizers to see if they deserve 4 stars. So far, so good.. OK its official I am a fan. Have made 3 additional trips, and the verdict is clear. Although a little pricey....it is a nice distraction during work day. Check it out for yourself.

The cheese pizza and brickhouse wings were really good but the service was alright. When asked we got service but besides that we werent asked once how the food was or if we could use anything else. Overall i would certainly go back.

Just came back from here. I was very excited about trying this place out, but it turned out to be disappointing. I really hope they take the suggestions that are being made by people who have tried it out because I really want to like it. A group of three, we ordered a pizza to split as an appetizer and then two burgers. The pizza was good, but small - 12" - not a surprise as that is stated on the menu, but I think they should at least offer a 16" if they're going to be a pizza bar. The pizza (quattro formaggio) was good, well-cooked neopolitan style. However, I think the dough was missing some flavor. As for the burgers, like the other reviews said, the bun dwarfs the actual burger. Overall, the burger was good, but I think they should replace the shredded lettuce with a big leaf or two and replace the small tomatoes with a nice thick slice. The amount of red onion was satisfactory. The table next to us ordered a stuffed burger that came out as a plain cheeseburger with cold fries. They sent it back and it came back with bacon on top I believe, but not stuffed like it was supposed to be. They also ordered coffee and I think they said the machine was broken. Some issues going on here... they were very disappointed My recommendations? -Larger pizza size (16" @ $12 or so), and lower the price of the 12" down to a reasonable $9 (currently $11). -I'm not sure how big the actual burger is in .oz (it doesn't say on the menu), but if it is a 1/4lb. then get smaller buns or if it's not a 1/4lb. then make it that size to fit the bun. -Replace shredded lettuce with leaf lettuce and replace the 2 small tomato slices with a big thick slice for the burgers -More burger options like someone said below. Where are the crazy burgers? Jalapenos, onion rings, hot sauce, fried egg, avocado, salsa, pepperjack cheese, etc. These should all be available toppings and put into tasty combinations that I can't think of right now. Atmosphere was nice both upstairs and downstairs. Very cool lounge atmosphere downstairs, and I hope they will stay open to midnight on Friday and Saturday to give some options for a casual bar in the center.

Food is okay, I especially enjoy the onion rings and pizzas. They change up their beer and make an effort to keep the place lively..so this would probably be my first choice in Woburn.

Just felt like we had interrupted the staff party when we walked in. Uncomfortable. The bar area dominates the middle 3rd of the restaurant and again it just felt uncomfortable, the bartenders and manager(?) just "watched" at us when we walked up to the desk. We fled to the outside tables where the staff party wasnt. The hostess, busboy and our server were all really nice. Food just ok, its pretty much frozen, fried, bread crumbed, shredded cheese, hot suace, pizza and burgers.

Nicely decorated and good service, but I'm surprised at the reviews stating this place is well priced. For downtown Boston maybe, but not Woburn. $8.50 for 8 small buffalo wings. $11.50 for a burger with 5 onion rings. Scratch that, it was an extra $1.50 to get those extra 5 onion rings instead of fries! $11 and up for a personal sized pizza. The food was good, but nothing I couldn't get somewhere else for less money. I really wanted to like this place since I'm local, but there is a ton of competition in the area for food like this. It looks like they wanted to be a trendy place selling expensive drinks but not have to shell out the money for an experienced chef or an original menu (but fool you with ambiance to think you're getting something special).

Been to the BrickYard 3 times. The food is good and flavorful as well as reasonably priced. The wings and sweet potato fries are my favorite. The pizza and burgers are quite good as well. If they can get the draft beer a little colder, my rating will go to 5 stars.

Got into town late on a Sunday evening, basically the only place open after 9pm. We just had two simple pizzas. Both were good, nothing special. The crust seemed spot on, cooked in a hot brick lined oven. The pepperini was cut really think, which would be great but not when its the only topping on your pizza. Just had water to drink so can't comment on that side of the house. This town has a pizza join about every 300 feet, so you might ask a local which is best.

This is my second time here, the first time I think they had JUST opened. Glad we went back, pizza and burgers are right up my alley. I liked everything we ordered. Started with brickyard wings, brickyard house salad and a chopped salad. Then three of us split a buffalo chicken pizza and the Texas burger. Server was very friendly, the decor is nice and the room downstairs seems like it would be a lot of fun to hang out in.

I've been to this place a couple different times now. I really enjoy it. I love the atmosphere and the pizza is really good. Actually, all the food is really good. The only complaint that I have is every time that I have been in here they never have what I originally wanted from the menu. They have always "ran out" of it. So then I have to choose something else. Which is usually pretty difficult because it takes forever for me to make a decision. Even though I'm not disappointed in the meal or the service, I hate having to choose something else after I already pick what I want. But other than that, it's a nice place and a nice addition to the area! Check it out!

There are plenty of positives and also some negatives. We went when it first opened and the service was atrocious. We've eaten in a few times since then, and it's definitely improved. Mostly we order take-out. When calling to order I often have to repeat myself several times because of the noise level in the background. Because of this I'm always nervous they're going to get my order wrong, but it hasn't happened yet. It is very pricey, yet I keep going back. I'm very picky about my burgers, and it's the only place in town I'm willing to order one. The pizza is okay. We consider ourselves "pizza snobs" and our favorites are Santarpios and Louie's.

I am torn about this restaurant! The first time I went, the service and food was great. The second time, both were well below average. The first time I went was on a random weeknight with one other adult and another child. We ordered some wings to start which had a ton of delicious sauce. We also ordered the bacon cheese fries which were to die for. We also order some personal pizza which were cooked well and the toppings were delicious. Service was pleasant and helpful. We could see the burgers coming out of the kitchen so we really wanted to go back. The second time we went was a few months later. I was having a rough day and really in the mood for a good burger and a stiff drink. It was a Friday night so there was a small wait but I sat at the bar while waiting for the table and the person joining me. I looked at the drink menu - Sangria! Perfect! I ordered the sangria and as I watched her make it I saw her adding Sprite to my glass... wait, what? Sprite - Sangria?? As expected, the drink was overly sweet and tasted like Sprite and Fruit punch with a splash of wine. Franzia boxed Sangria tastes better. I tried not to let it bring me down because I was excited for the delicious burger I was going to eat. We got seated and order those wings from before. But when the arrived, there was no ooey-gooey delicious sauce. What happened? The wings were ok but needed that sauce that had been on them before. Our waitress was OK, but didn't really seem interested in doing her job and often was missing for long periods of time. We ordered another set of drinks. i gave it another try and tried one of the martinis they had. I was again let down, my guest and I ended up trading drinks because we both were disappointed. Maybe I was just having an off night ordering drinks? Who knows. We both ordered burgers for our meal. These were pretty tasty, but nothing mind blowing. I was expecting more. I probably won't give this place another try, but even if I do it will be to get those awesome bacon cheese fries again.

We've come to this place twice, and I am in luv. Food is FANTASTIC. I am not one for those fancy cracker thin crust pizzas, and this place makes a perfect pizza. You can completely taste the difference when pizza is made a real brick oven. I used to pay over $16 in rural NJ to get is kind of food. I have ordered the procutto & veggi pizza and the greek pizza (white with chicken, olives feta etc) and both were delicious. My boyfriend ordered the burger stuffed w/ gorgonzola and carmelized onions, and topped with an extra serving of mushrooms (definitly not stingy), with very crispy and delicious sweet potato fries. Frankly i think the order is worth it for the fries alone, but he said this is the best burger he has ever had, in his life. Which is saying something. I am not sure where some people eat, but $7 for a full glass of wine anywhere these days is pretty dirt cheap. Never tried anything from the 'lounge' downstairs, but still loving the food upstairs...we'll be back.

Not worth it! Other that the potato skins everything else we had was bland or poorly prepared. Onion rings were soggy and not fully cooked. We ordered 3 pizzas and didn't finish two, and it wasn't because we weren't hungry. And don't order the Brickyard beer which is pretty much Coors Light

Went here for a birthday a few weeks back. We ended up downstairs which I had no idea even existed. The atmosphere was cool and was a nice surprise. They had a Dj which was pretty cool even though the room itself was to small to even think about actually dancing. Our waitress was awesome very nice and very on her A game considering we had a group of about 25 and no one was every without a beverage! She did an excellent job. The only thing I didn't like about this place was they did last call and immediately started kicking people out. I had a full drink which I wouldn't have bought if i knew the managers would be screaming at everyone to get out 10 min later. They need to plan their last call a little bit better and allow people some time to drink their last drink of the night. Im not saying we need an hour but 10 min is to short of a time to pound back a vodka and cranberry!

Utterly awful. Came here to watch the Bruins game on a late Saturday afternoon. Sat at the downstairs bar, as expected it was pretty empty. Service was awful and miserable. Like the bartender literally made it miserable to sit there and watch the game, I could not wait too leave. We all ordered food, it was not good. I got a buffalo chicken sandwich, it was a dried up piece of chicken fried about 10 minutes to long. It was burnt to a crisp. They had no business serving that out of the kitchen. The fries were frozen steak fries, like the kind you get in the supermarket freezer. There were about 6 of them and they were stone cold. They showed absolutely no effort in the food. I took two bites of the sandwich and just left the rest. I had to ask 4 times for knife and fork, and for all drink refills. Nothing was ever offered. Also, my food came out literally 20 minutes before the other people I was with. How hard is it to make all of the food come out together? Do I need to specify that? Since I barely ate any of it, I guess it does not matter when it was served. But it just reeks of total amateur-ness. Other food was a steak tip plate which just looked 'sad' and a burger that I guess looked about standard. After the bartender pretty much threw the check at us, we were just happy to get the h&ll out of there. This place needs a complete re-do, food, service, prices were all well below par. I won't be back here and will advise others to do the same.

I was there on a quiet Monday night with a friend. Our server (Lisa) was attentive without being disruptive while my friend and I chatted and devoured our food. I ordered the BrickYard House Salad topped with grilled shrimp. It was delicious- I ate every bite! We hung out for drinks at the bar afterward, and service (Joe) was great there too.

Came here a few weeks ago. Sat downstairs in the lounge area, which was nice and a good place to watch the game. The TV's were placed well and you could view the game from anywhere you sat. The service is pretty bad. I actually blame management. First off, I only saw one server downstairs, which is understaffed to say the least. Also, the servers and even the other workers seem to have zero knowledge of what they serve and food-allergies. Getting the order right seemed like a challenge. They screwed up my gf's order. The food itself was okay. The pizza was decent, if not overpriced. The salad my gf got was mediocre at best. To sum it up, the place needs work, especially competent management and servers. I'm guessing training staff on food allergies or anything else is not part of the company's protocol.

I did not have a good experience here. The service and food were far from good. It started off ok; we sat outside, waitress took our drink order right away and came back with the drinks in a reasonable amount of time. That's pretty much the only good thing I can say about the dinner. Our food took quite awhile to come out. I got a burger with fries. The burger was well done and I asked for medium rare. The fries and the burger tasted like they had been sitting around for 10 or 15 minutes. My girlfriend got a house salad with buffalo chicken. They brought a cobb salad with cold buffalo chicken. Is it supposed to be cold? I'm not sure but we both thought it would be warm to hot. The waitress forgot the salad dressing so we asked her for some blue cheese dressing. It never came. We waited and waited for the waitress but she was nowhere to be found. My girlfriend went to ask the HOST for the dressing and like magic, the waitress was out in 2 seconds with the dressing...like 20 minutes after we had been served our food. Ridiculous! My girlfriend got a coffee after our dinner and they brought it with no cream or sugar...which we again had to ask for and didn't get for 10 to 15 minutes. We are not picky and can put up with sub par service if the food is ok, but the food sucked and the poor service on top of that made it a forgettable experience. Skip it and go to Joe's or really ANY OTHER PLACE IN WOBURN! Tanner Tavern is better than this dump!

This place is ehh. Where do I begin? Awesome beer selection but the staff knows absolutely nothing about the beer they offer. Our bartender was extremely rude - he hardly said a word to us. Don't know what they do to it, but the water is the most disgusting water I have ever gotten at a restaurant. I only took about two sips because I was actually a little worried about drinking it. I ordered a portabello mushroom burger with salad. Being vegan I came armed with my questions - I was really nice about it, and the waitress wasn't awful, but she clearly didn't know what I needed. I ordered the mushroom burger and asked if there was dairy in the bun. There was, so I just asked for it without the bun. It took a few tries before she understood that it was indeed possible to eat a burger without a bun. In ordering this, I specifically said, "I don't eat animal products." I made sure to order the salad without cheese. When my salad came, not only did it have cheese, but it had egg and BACON on it. Huh? I very nicely sent it back, and it came back still with cheese and egg. Obviously they had just taken off the bacon. I asked if they could please prepare me a fresh salad. I finally got a salad without any animal products, but I still carefully inspected every inch to be sure there wasn't any flecks of cheese floating around (I've had plenty of experiences where they just prepare the food like normal and THEN remove the cheese as an afterthought, and there are pieces of cheese underneath). The burger was decent, but small portion for a large price. Overall, disappointed. I won't be back.

The Brickyard has a modern feel to it with the newly renovated decor offering a front and back entrance, a 10 to 12-seat bar and plenty of tables to enjoy the atmosphere. Aside from that, the service is slow, and seem a bit lazy. My first time here was okay, my sister & I sat at the bar during lunch time because it was practically empty and both ordered burgers. We both tend to like our burgers med-rare and they came out pretty hammered. The wedge cut fries were not that tastey in the least, which you could probably find better at any fast food place. The second time I gave this place a try, the service and food failed again. I don't think i'll be back here anymore.

The Brickyard has EXCELLENT burgers and sandwiches. The outdoor patio cafe is perfect place to eat on on a nice day. Also the lounge downstairs is the Brickyards best kept secret. Food is always great but sometimes parking can be tight.

We were really excited to try this place and give it a try! We went on a Friday night... When we walked in, we were told it was going to be a 20 minute wait for 4 people, and were given a pager. The hostess told us we could go to the downstairs bar while we waited (as upstairs was crowded). When we went downstairs, it was nicely decorated. Lots of TV's and couches along the wall. The four of us sat at the bar and were greeted by the not-so-friendly bartender. He was actually miserable and not engaging whatsoever. We were all immediately turned off. Once our pager went off, we headed back upstairs with our drinks and were sat at a booth table. As soon as our waiter noticed we had drinks already, we were given huge attitude. It was as if he didn't even want to serve us from that point forward. We asked for waters and he replied 'well, are you gonna drink them?' who says that. He was the worst waiter I have ever had! He neglected us throughout the whole meal, never asking if we needed anything. He came over and asked if he could 'take my wine glass' and didn't even ask if I wanted more wine. When he came over to ask how the food was, the girl I was with looked down at her plate briefly, and he replied ' what's the problem now??' really, who says that??? She was missing all of the fixings for her burger, and he rudely took her plate away and came back with the extras. The whole time I noticed the server paid more attention to everyone else in the restaurant and was schmoozing on several women. When our food finally came out (this took around 30 minutes mind you, for burgers and pizza, it seemed way too long), our waiter was no where to be found. The manager had to bring our food to us! After the horrible service experience, we left and spoke to the manager who gave us a 20% off coupon, gee thanks. Overall, great food.. .but the horrible service and the obvious growing pains this restaurant is suffering, makes me never want to go back again. If you go to the Brickyard avoid the creepy male server at all costs...

I was here a few months ago sometime shortly after it opened. We sat at the downstairs bar which has a cool color changing lighted wall. Another review had said that it's not a Woburn thing, I agree. I felt like i was in Downtown Boston. It wasn't that busy and I'm thoroughly surprised at the poor service. I watched someone bring down our food and put it at the edge of the bar where it sat for a few minutes until the bartender stopped speaking to some patrons, noticed the food and plopped it down in front of us. The burgers were not worth the price. They were barely warm (since they were left sitting in the rather chilly bar area) and tasteless. The only highlight of the night was when I inquired about the Brickyard beer and the bartender offered me a sample.

This place by far as 1 of the best pizza's around the Woburn area. They also have unbelievable Burgers and Buffalo Wings. If you want a nice spot to have some cocktails you must visit the lounge in the basement. I visit this place 2 or 3 time a week.

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. They are uneducated about anything other than Woburn and have extreme attitudes with out of state guests. If I'm coming to your establishment to spend $6 on a drink I expect nothing but generosity. I'm 22 and I live in Vermont and came in for a business trip on a Wednesday. They refused to serve me saying the Id did not match up with " the book" when I asked to see the book, of course they had nothing to say. Word of advice brickyard. If your going to serve alcohol...have the knowledge to know how to read Id's and maybe...GO BUY A BOOK! Later that evening I went to the Monte next door and would recommend that any day over this unwelcoming hole.

Went to the Brickyard on Memorial Day weekend for drinks and dinner and we were very pleased. The delivery of the food was painfully slow and the waiter acknowledged that. Thankfully we were in a hurry and the drinks were quick to be delivered so we never noticed. The pizza was extremely good and rivals anything in the area. My wife and friends had burgers and they were happy with there selections. We sat downstairs which as people said resembled a bar/club in Boston only with large TV's for sports. I would definitely go here again.

Tried out this place last night with my family. We arrived just as they were opening and it felt like we walked into a frat party. Most of the servers were yelling to each other across the room, one waiter was eating a sandwich in the middle of the resturant and most of the kitchen staff were out front sitting by the fountain smoking. Our server was friendly but gave us the sense that this was her first night ever waiting tables, which it could have been so I'll give her a pass on that. I ordered the house lager which was terrible. It was exactly like a cheap light beer, no character that you'd expect from a microbrew. My wife had the pizza and she enjoyed it but there was some sort of liquid in the plate that she had to rescue the pizza from drowning in. I ordered a burger. The buger itself was flavorless, no salt, pepper or anything, just texture. The bun was enormous and (other than it's size) easilly forgettable. The tomato slice I got on the side did offer us a good laugh. My wife pointed to it, chuckled and said "I guess quality control got the night off". It was not quite ripe, paper thin, completely dried out and about the size of a silver dollar. I asked for a replacement which was much better. The fries were cold, and tasted as if they had been frozen and left out to thaw just before serving. My daughter had the kids chicken fingers (because they were out of half of the other options on the kids menu). I tasted her chicken and it too was completely lacking any flavor. For a place that advertises itself as a burger bar the options for the burgers was minimal, and the burgers themselves are marginal at best. They should offer more toppings, get a smaller bun and purchase the cooks some salt and pepper. I gave the place 2 stars becuse my wife did enjoy her pizza after she rescued it and the decor was nice, otherwise I would have given it 1 star. It is unlikely that we will return. I

The BrickYard is in a wonderful location in Woburn center, with an open concept kitchen visible from the back of the restaurant. The bar area is attractive with nice lighting and TV screens. We went on a warm busy evening, and found the service to be just mediocre. Our waitress was nice, but appeared very busy and our food took a while to get to us. However, the burgers are humongous and cooked perfectly. Big juicy slabs of beef dripping with deliciousness will satisfy me any day. I'll give the BrickYard another chance soon, as the location is right and so were the prices.

My family went here on a Friday for lunch and they were out of fries. My son had pizza which the crust was burnt. People who sat down and ordered after us got their food before us. This was my first and last time here. Overpriced for average food.

I was a little concerned about going here because most of the reviews mentioned poor service. Our server, Jill, was great! As was the food and the atmosphere. Would definitely go back!

This pizza is amazing, being born and riased Italian in Roslindale, I am always searching for good pizza. I am not a fan of Price, Santarpios or Pizza Regina. This place is my 2nd fav behind Penguin Pizza in Brigham Circle Boston. I was amazed at the flavor and the pepperoni were awesome and with garlic tossed on.. wow. I have not tried the burger yet but it looks good. I am not a huge fan of fancy yuppie looking places, but I will return for the yummy pizza and they have Italian Peroni beer on tap.

After driving by every night, I couldn't wait for this place to open. Went on Friday. We were seated immediately. It just went rapidly downhill from there. Ordered drinks and then waited. The drinks didn't even taste like there was alcohol in them. Made the decision to switch to beer. Waitress finally took our order. Waited over a half hour for the app. Drinks sat empty. Pizza finally came out after an hour and half. My husband never even got the steak tips he ordered. Finally after just about 2 hours, we cancelled those. It wasn't just us either. Every single table had issues. The waitress was clueless and didn't know the menu at all. It is a very nice looking space but the experience doesn't fit the price tag. It's pretty bad when you have to stop somewhere else for takeout on the way home.

Took the kids out for a bite and decided to try this place out. The atmosphere was excellent. Nicely decorated and lively. The place was very busy so we had to wait 35 min for a table but we were told that before we put our name in. The wait staff was friendly and the food was delicious and prices were great! We ordered numerous items; veggie pizza - amazing, wings - very good, burger - excellent and great fries (sweet potatoe and regular). We will definitely go back again!

Overpriced food and cramped dining seating but it is a nice looking place. Got a regular burger and a separate side Caesar salad. The burger by itself tasted good but the brioche bun they put it on overwhelmed the flavor of the burger so all you could taste was the bun. Not worth $9.00, maybe $7.50. The salad was tiny for $2.50. Should have been priced at $2.00. But the biggest turnoff was the bottle of sanitizer on the hostess counter when I walked in. But, I guess, I should be happy that they use it.

I'm not sure what all these negative reviews are about because I thought this place was awesome! We just moved in down the street and really wanted to try it out and we were really impressed. We sat down right away and our server, Mark (who was fantastic btw) was at our table within 3 minutes. We ordered a pitcher of Sierra Nevada (not too many places do pitchers anymore, so this was a nice surprise) and he brought it over promptly with 2 frosty glasses to go with it. We ordered to burgers and split them at the table, the Santa Fe and The Hangover Helper. The Santa Fe was solid, perfectly cooked and had a nice spicy kick at the end. The Hangover Helper however stole the show! It was so tastey and rich. It was basically a burger and a breakfast in one and the egg as well as the burger were cooked to perfection. Overall, great service, great beer, great food. We'll be back very soon.

My wife and I went on a Saturday night. We did get seated right away, they were out of the first two drafts I ordered which was not a good start. I ordered pizza my wife ordered turkey tips. We ordered their homemade chips for an appetizer. A family that came in 10 minutes after we did and ordered the same appetizer got their chips right away while we waited another 10 minutes. They also got their entrees long before we did. Our food came out and was ice cold the pizza was overcooked and had been sitting. My wives turkey tips were dryed out and the sweet potatoe fries were ice cold. We finally were able to get our waitress and she apologized and said she would bring out a new order. It came back shortly but was obviously the same food that had been microwaved. The manager also came over to apologize. We got our bill and my wife noticed she was charged $16.50 for an item listed on the menu as $15.00. for the 2nd time that evening the manager came out to apologize for the oversite and after our slow service cold food and being overcharged she did refund the whole bill. I had really looked forward to eating at Brickyard and was disapppointed at the outcome. The pizza does have the potential to be good if it doesn't sit for a long time.

Ate here last night, I got a MAMBO ITALIANO burger. OMG it was the best or at least one of the best burgers I ever had. I couldn't stop drooling while I was eating it! Service was good the restaurant clean and trendy as far as the decor goes dress was casual. I really liked this place over all. I am planning on making it a regular stop. I need to try other items on the menu and give this an update but it's going to be hard passing on that burger.

Went there recently on a Friday night with a group of friends. Called ahead earlier in the week and was told they did not take reservations but call back on the day a few hours before we want to come in. Did that, gave my name. Showed up at the place and they asked if we had a reservation; very confusing. They gave us a pager for waiting. Found out later they gave our table away to another large group that they thought was us. The names were not even similar! Unfortunately, the hostess can't be blamed as it was clear she was not trained well, but there were no apologies. No waiting area for a large group, very awkward. Ended up being coerced by the manager into eating downstairs in the lounge - way too loud for dinner! Food was only okay, appetizers tasted like they came out of a box from a grocery store. One waitress for 12 people was torture for the waitress. There is an up-charge for everything if it is not ordered exactly like it is on the menu. No pickles for the burgers! Didn't order dessert becasue it was too late in the evening by the time we got our food and were done eating. I was embarrassed that I suggested this new place to my friends, many of them drove a good distance to get there. This place has potential, but there is no magic to it and no good reason to return anytime soon.

I went to the brickyard Sat night. Have been hearing mixed review so I thought I would try it out. Was seated right away and ordered drinks. I, along with the table behind us felt they were very weak, almost watered down and for the price this is not good. Next, we ordered hamburgers and while waiting almost an hour we observed the cooks all wiping the sweat off their foreheads with their arms, along with wiping their noses, scratching heads, eating, drinking all while preparing food. I said something to the waitress but it didn't seem to bother her too much. The cooks area is open so can be easily viewed by all parties. The food came out and by then we were all grossed out by what we had seen. I did leave a post on their facebook page but it was deleted. So, I guess i will not be getting a response. I will not be returning.
