Worst restaurant ever!! Staff are nice and friendly but don't waste your money there. Don't dare go with a groupon you will get charged whatever you "save" $35 per person on a "Buffet" that only has 3 options is ridiculous!!! And the food was nasty! You will never see me there again!

I NEVER post reviews but this place deserves one. My boyfriend and I bought a GROUPON and had reservations for 7. When we got to the restaurant there were only a few people there and we were weirded out because most good places are packed by 7pm. (By the time we left the restaurant was about half full). We decided to look up yelp reviews to find out what the deal was and most of the reviews we read were not good, so we questioned how our evening would turn out. WELL, it turned out to be one of the BEST brazilian steakhouses we have been to(and we have been to a bunch). The specialty drink was delicious, the calamari and salad were OK, the rice and beans was fresh and delicious, french fries good, potato salad not my favorite, fresh garlic style bread and cold vinegar topping to start was DELICIOUS. The whole meal someone was walking around with different skewers of meat and they ALWAYS offered us some, even if we already had it. Bacon wrapped chicken was very good, beef was incredibly tasty and juicy, sausage/kielbasa was good, different types of chicken were SO tasty and the pork was awesome as well. The staff was very attentive and kept asking how we were liking our meal and if we needed anything. My boyfriend and I have not stopped talking about how WRONG the bad reviews we read are. Yes, the staff play many rolls and our waitress was also the bartender and host at some point but I could tell that they all work as a team and help each other out! The place was NOT outdated, the food was SO fresh, the staff were SO friendly and attentive, and we left so incredibly full and happy. I would HIGHLY suggest this place to someone that wants a good meal!

So sad I was looking forward to this order . My delivery over 2 hours and 30 min never made it . The driver blames his GPS for the address of the hotel not showing up . Two stars simply because I think they did try to deliver , however update your GPS maps. Who uses a GPS ? Google maps next time . EAT24 tried to get involved but no luck . After 10 phone calls and me Turing into IT support for the restaurant I simply cancelled the order

This place stinks. First off, their beer selection is horrible. Unless you only want a light domestic, don't expect much for options. Food was meh. Small salad bar to start. The server who comes around to serve meat - the ONE server on a Friday night, obviously was slow considering he was a one man show. For a "steak house," I saw him a total of twice for the steak, and it was mediocre at best. Not well seasoned, and just low quality. Came around more with chicken & sausage. One of the sausages tasted like roadkill that was scooped up a week before. The bartender was the one who I guess was in charge of coming around to get drink orders for the whole restaurant, so drink service was basically non-existent. When we settled up, my friend showed them his Groupon...they told him they couldn't accept it because they were supposed to show it before eating, and "the tab is already in the computer and the groupon will screw everything up." The manager told him to come back another time to use it. What the hell? I've used Groupons tons of times at restaurants and never had an issue when settling up. Seems this place is just scamming Groupon and the customers who buy them. This place stinks.

WORST service I have ever had! We stood around for a good 20 minute and no one seated us. I had to ask the bar tender. The "server" came around once for drink orders about 15 mins after sitting down and never again. The drink selection was pathetic. They only took half the party's desert orders at the end. I had to fight for using one Groupon for the table and we still had to pay the difference on the savings because they refused to correct the bill. We got charged for an extra person who just bought drinks at the bar. The food was average. Salad bar was very limited. Absolutely do not recommend going here. Certainly not with a Groupon. There was less than a $5 savings per person on the Groupon and we didn't ever get that discount.

Large portions of good Brazilian food. Service was a bit slow and acted strange when asking for the bill. Atmosphere was nice and it wasn't very crowded for a Friday night.

No no no! The steak the shaved off on to my plate was no good!.... Tasted like freezer burnt meat. The waiter ignored me even when I stopped him. Went out of his way to serve everyone but me in this tiny little place until the bartender/waitress seen me getting frustrated and informed him. He came over and I politely asked for water. He said ok. Grabbed the water and proceeded to serve everyone but me again! Then went and brought people desserts they can choose from. Wtf! I stood up and he runs over with water.... At this point I've had enough. I asked for the bill and left. the food was just as nasty as the service. I have no idea how they are still in business.

Second time here. Food was better this time but service is absolutely terrible. The guy who brings the meat around doesn't do it in a consistent fashion. You wait a good amount of time between each meats and I was forced to ask for specific ones. The worst experience of the night way paying with the groupon. They tried to tell me because I did not present it in the beginning that I could not use it. Also they said that I could only pick certain appetizers with groupon and tried to charge me extra for it. Groupon does not state any of this. Manager was extremely rude over this. I would come back but not after that experience with the manager. Do a better job with service, walking around consistently with all the meat offering, and being more specific with the groupon. Will be going to Midwest Grill in Saugus for now on. The extra drive is worth it.

If I could give this place no stars I would. Worst service, drinks, and food. I ordered a long island, pretty sure it was just long island mix, I didn't taste any kind of alcohol in it. This "steakhouse" should be called a "chickenhouse" since that's all they serve. There was only 2 people on the floor, but there excuse was someone called out...seems to be a pretty scripted excuse. They did not serve any lamb, and the "steak" that they did bring out, I would consider Chuck steak that was wayyyy over salted, overcooked, and dry. When I asked if they had any prime rib, filet mignon, or sirloin that most traditional Brazilian Stackhouse's have, I was looked at like I was crazy for asking for such cuts and that I should be satisfied with the shitty food being served. The only reason why there in business is because of groupon. There a one hit failure because you go there once and never go back. I'm guessing the 5 star reviews you see on here is someone they paid to say they were good, because I don't ever see this place being is good as those reviews say. I can't imagine how sanitary the kitchen is considering the people working there take no pride in anything besides taking your money. The whole time I was there I thought I was on a show for kitchen disasters because it was that bad.

I've never been here before and I purchased the groupon and despite the awful ratings on Yelp, I gave it a shot. Man, I'm glad I did! The food was amazing, service was a little slow but there were only two people on the floor so that is understandable, and I wasn't in a rush to eat so I didn't mind. I wouldn't pay full price ($70 for two people) but the groupon definitely made it well worth it! I recommend this place to anyone, it is definitely underrated. The staff was very sweet and welcoming and the food was amazing! We got the all you can eat meat menu which was very flavorful and it came with plenty! It came with an appetizer, side salad, bread, beans, potato salad, french fries, and one other side, I forget what it was (I was to full to even try it!) Definitely give this place a try!!!!

I'm not sure why people were claiming to have negative experiences here. I almost didn't purchase my groupon because of some of the reviews left on here, but I'm sure glad I did! The food is pretty delicious. I went pretty early for dinner (5 pm) and there was no one else in the restaurant. There were 4-5 other tables filling in by the time we were finishing up, but being alone was awesome. After rotating through all of the offered meats, the guy came back and asked us what we'd like to have again. That has NEVER happened to me at a Brazilian BBQ before. I was really happy to be given that choice, as I just requested my favorites to be brought back. IMO, the best options were the Top-Sirloin (incredibly tender and juicy, with a very nice flavor), the bacon wrapped chicken (because how could that NOT be amazing!?), and the kielbasa. The sides they served were quite good as well. The bread was HOT and freshly baked. The beans were superb, and they also had rice, potato salad, this interesting salsa-like stuff, and even some french fries. We had no problem at all using the groupon. The waitress kindly explained what the groupon was good for, and yes, they include the tip for you, but it is 20% even, no more, no less. I think this place is a great deal with the groupon, considering you are getting delicious cuts of all you can eat meat, and a nice variety of other side dishes. The waiters were all kind and personable and provided top-notch service. I would definitely go back again!

Food - 3 Service - 1 Value - 2 I spent 2 years working as a server, meat server, and bartender in a Brazilian grill. I had high expectations coming into this place. I was disappointed. When we arrived, ONE guy was managing 6 tables. He was serving, meat serving, and bartending so far as I could tell. He could very well have been running the grill, too. Frankly, that's ridiculous to essentially to attempt to take on such a workload. Granted this was a Monday night and they probably weren't expecting to be busy, but still, ONE guy? At dinner time? Is this joint trying to run itself out of business? The service was subpar. When I go to a Brazilian grill, if I have been greeted, I want to be able to flip my cue/card to green and start getting meat service. There is meat on the grill all the time so they can certainly meet that need. After being seated, we waited for 23 minutes before we got waters. It was another 5-10 before getting our appetizer orders taken and another 6 minutes before appetizers came out. Then came salads another 5-10 minutes later and when we finished the salad it took another 5-10 to get rice, potato salad, red beans, and vinaigrette. Meat came soon after that. To be fair, they told us it would be 10 minutes before they could serve us. The whole dining experience was twice as long as it needed to be. On top of that, there was no consistency to the meat rotation. Infrequently, 7 of the 9 meats came out. As good as the picanha was, it only came around once. Cheaper meats like sausage, pork loin, and chicken managed to make the rounds two or three times. I know they're trying to save money, but we certainly didn't get what we paid for (though to be fair, we grouponed this one). Food was decent though. The lombo was a bit dry, but the picanha more than made up for it. We left full and were overall satisfied with the quality of the food. I'd eat it again. Our bill was 123 for 4 people. An 20% auto-grat of had been included. I don't know what the hell that is. How you gonna auto-grat a four top? And how are you gonna auto-grat a four top when your service was subpar? The staff was friendly and clearly overwhelmed and it wasn't worth it to me to make a stink out of it, so I left it alone. Won't return to this joint unless they're under new management.

I have NO idea how this place has 3 stars... if there was an option for zero stars, it would be absolutely worthy of that. My husband and I eat out a fair amount and after seeing the Groupon for Brazilian Steakhouse we decided to give it a try. I would undoubtedly say this is one of the worst restaurant experiences we have ever had. The food and service were AWFUL! We were actually afraid to eat the sides because they looked old and arrived in somewhat sketchy containers... Do yourself a favor and skip this place!

  • Gi S.

This place does not deserve even a single star... They serve terrible food, have horrible service and forced me to pay 22% gratuity because I used Groupon. I bought Groupon, ordered just two cokes at the restaurant and had to pay $ 27.42 extra... According to them, if you use Groupon your gratuity must be added to the check . I felt disrespected and did not even had a good meal. DON'T GO THERE!!!!!

As my husband said - they tried to make a comeback but we would never go back - extremely disappointing. We love Brazilian Steakhouses and have been to quite a few - usually you have to beg them to stop coming over to your table....here, just the opposite. We were seated somewhat in the back of the restaurant - there was a large party in front of us. First off there was no rotating selection of entrees, - " rice, beans, salads, french fries, plantains, brazilian stuffing (farofa) and cheese bread will be brought to your table." - We had none of the above - Always fresh home style Brazilian cuisine. (per their website) . There was a buffet with dried rice, baked beans , and pasta with meatballs? The salad was empty. - No bread, plantains, etc... The meat was minimal - there was one waiter going around with the food ( I will say he was very nice) - but he would come out of the kitchen and by the time he got to us the meat would be gone or there would be one or two pieces. We were literally getting one piece at a time. Finally, my husband said to the waitress, we are hungry is there a way to bring some meat over here - I will say she did start helping out the waiter and bringing over food - but we never got a number of meats they mentioned on their website and never got any pineapple, etc... at the end. The staff was very nice but the restaurant itself, not to good. For the two of us the bill was over 60 dollars (I had one drink) and we felt like we had not gotten even close to our money's worth. With so many other options in the area, we will not be back.

The food here was amazing. Not kept coming! You need to go there really hungry, we had to be rolled out if there. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was very clean and romantic. We will definitely go back!

This is a Brazilian BBQ on roids! This barbecue house is definitely as good as it gets when it comes to Quantity, Variety, and Service! First off, the wait staff does an incredible job of taking care of you and making sure you have what you need aside from the meat. Then along comes the train of servers offering you this meat and that. Among my favorites, anything with meat, the sausage, and bacon wrapped filet. If you can make it through all of the cuts they have, I salute you. It's not easy, and you will probably walk out of there literally 5 pounds heavier, but more importantly 5 pounds happier. If you can make it to dessert, those are actually pretty good too. If you can't fit it, I found a nice "CAIPIRINHA" was the perfect end. Overall, the service is impeccable and if you walk out of there hungry or dissatisfied it is probably your fault. This Brazilian steak house is well worth a visit and the just price tag. Just make sure you go there hungry. The new decoration is amazing I loved, it worth after so many time came here with my family. The unique concern for me, is due I can go there only on Sundays, otherwise I should became a partner ...... :)

This place was terrible. We had a reservation and they asked if we had one, we said yes, and still waited for 20 minutes. The candle at our table wasn't even lit. The meat took forever to come around to us. We had to ask our waiter to refill our water glasses. Clearly understaffed and they just don't know what they're doing. If you're looking for a good experience, you will not find it here.

Not a great experience at all. Bought a Groupon and made a reservation. Arrived on time & stood at the front of the restaurant for a good 5 minutes. When someone actually approached us it was as if we caught him off guard stating we had a reservation. The place was not very crowded. He showed us our seats and there we sat for a good 10 minutes. At any other place I would have walked out but now we are invested because we have already purchased the Groupon. Took another 10 minutes for our drinks and appetizers. The waiter did explain that they had a few people not show up for work which would have been fine if the food was spectacular. Food was average. Sausage, lamb & kielbasa were tasty. Chicken tasted like rubber. Best part was the pineapple. I would not recommend this restaurant.

We purchased a "Groupon" to eat here on a Saturday night while visiting Boston. The website and yelp said that they were open until 11pm. We arrived at 10pm and were greeted in the parking lot by a waiter asking us if we were coming in to eat. He then told us that they had already closed the kitchen and cleaned their very large grill because it had been so slow that night. When I explained that the website said 11, he said he knew that, apologized but turned us away. I will have to go through the trouble of getting a refund through Groupon now. Bad business!!!! I have a feeling they did us a favor if they were soooo slow on a Saturday night! I recommend to spend your hard earned money else where!!!

Brazilian Steakhouse is probably your best bet for a Brazilian BBQ dinner in the immediate vicinity. Their Churrasco Rodizio (the BBQ) is $22.95 per person, which is not bad. Dinner includes a tossed salad, some sides served family style (black beans, fried plantain, french fries, stuffing). There are a good number of beers, mixed drinks, and reasonably priced wines available. THe Rodizio promises sirloin, ribs, lamb, Brazilian Sausage, Kielbasa, pork loin, wings, bacon-wrapped chicken, and chicken hearts. I've done the Rodizio twice, in two extremes: a dinner for a small number of people on a weeknight, and a dinner for a large party on a Saturday night. The small group/weeknight dinner was a better experience. The big party/Saturday dinner was okay but nowhere near as good. It took a long time for the dinner to begin. For the longest time the only thing they brought us was the sausage and kielbasa, the wings, and the bacon wrapped chicken. The pork is small pieces and not sliced off like the sirloin. The sirloin, when it did come out, gave us only 2 options, quite rare or quite well done, and very little in-between. We never got the ribs or lamb the entire evening. At the end of the evening, besides desserts, on which we passed, they also bring around skewers of grilled pineapple, which is delicious. It looks like Brazilian Steakhouse now has a deal through Yelp where you can get a $20 gift certificate for $10, similar to one they used to offer through restaurants.com . While I was satisfied with my most recent meal overall, I was disappointed of course to not have been served the lamb at any point in the evening. I would definitely recommend going on a slower evening. Service here is very good

Sparknotes: Food: 4/5 (over all pretty good. top picks: Mussel Apps, Lamb, Steak), Service: 4/5 -3(He was friendly but I don't care to be stereotyped as a wine amateur nor as a non-tipping asian) Cost: 3/5 (with the groupon it's a pretty good deal, but normally @ $25.00 per person, I think it's acceptable per person.) ProTip: Check the bill, and the receipt and have the lamb. Took my father out for a late father's day dinner. Since he's such a meat lover decided what can be better than a Brazilian steakhouse? Luckily found a groupon being offered for a dinner for four, and decided to use that. We went there on a Wednesday evening. Not many people in the restaurant, only 2 other tables had customers. I informed our waiter that I had a groupon from the get go. We ordered our appetizers, the calamari and the white sauce mussels. And we also asked for a bottle of red wine, in this example the Beringer Cab.sav. Soon enough we got our salads (iceberg lettuce, and few pieces of other veggies) and oil and balsamic vinaigrette. Nice plates though. And then our server brought us our wine. I don't consider myself a wine expert but I sort of do know my wines, and also spent some time in Napa and in Sonoma. He started opening the bottle, and I had to say "This is NOT the wine we ordered. Where is the Beringer (it's not even that top end)?" And he said that the wine is basically the same thing, and the offering was some unknown table wine. He suggested that I try it since it's almost the same, and if I don't like it we can have a different bottle. Opened it, tried it, tasted like welch's grape juice. Almost the same? Balls~ so he suggested couple of other bottles that he would give us at the same price. And ended up just getting a bottle of Chianti which was acceptable. Completely assuming I'm a wine newb and trying to push garbage to us~ yah strike one. The apps, the mussels were pretty good, should have ordered 2 plates of that. The calamari was just the rings, dry and rather bland imo. I thought we might be getting some meats while we had the apps, but we finished our apps then the host of meats came out. 1st up, kielbasa(3 of 5), was nicely roasted and moist, very good but compared to the other choices. Sausages (4/5), not 100% what it's mostly composed of but juicy and packing some flavor. Next up, Bacon wrapped chicken (2/5), ... it was editable but ... chicken was dry and bacon was mostly weak in the flavor department. Lamb (5/5), came up next, haha I really liked this, herby and roasted pretty nicely. The end pieces were a bit over cooked but, def had seconds of this. If you're into the gamey meats, awesome. Steak (5/5), this slab of meat came out and he cut us pieces from it. Cooked very nicely, parents like the medium~well meats, and I enjoyed the rarer meats. Lamb & Steak top picks, pretty awesome. The sides it came with, beans, salsa, rice, and mash veggie potatoes? But salsa was good with the meats. Over all the meal was pretty good, Time to pay the bill. We had the groupon and the only thing we had over that was that $21 bottle of wine and I was charged $60.00. Okay fine, taxes yup okay. Server says cannot take credit cards cause the machine is down, and I said well then we can't really leave a tip. Machine works. And we leave him a $37 tip on the table. And we left. And thinking about it on the drive back, we thought we paid too much and we drove back. And what had happened was he "failed" to mention he added a 18% gratuity for a party of 4, and blamed groupon cause "they sometimes add that fee in there", plus mentioning that sometimes people only tip on the post groupon amount. Plus he just smiled when we left a pretty decent additional tip on the table. Will leave the waiter nameless, but that's some shady stuff, and will not be going back.

Nice 25 min walk from the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Maybe 20 tables...ordered the Rodizio for about $26. Great value. Started with salad, rice, fries and other goodies offered, but I fill up on meat at these places. Offer bacon wrapped steak, chicken, a couple lamb offerings, some other steak and chicken skewers too. All you can eat, and they aren't shy with serving. Dessert looked good, but I finished my meal with some very tasty pineapple! Do it!

  • Shelby G.

This place is not bad, however, I would not have come here if I didn't have the groupon. The food was good and service was awesome, but there was not a lot of selection for meats. There were lots of tables and the place was very crowded. I prefer a place where I can move about freely after a few drinks.

    (3)
  • Greg L.

The service was quite good. We were rather disappointed with the barbecue though. The different choices of meat were dry and very salty. At the end of the meal the computer system went down and I had to run out to an ATM in order to pay the bill. Sure, stuff happens but somehow I think our dinner at this place was doomed from the beginning.

You MUST go here on an empty stomach. You will leave stuffed no matter what, but you wanna enjoy every single bite. All the food is delicious, service is great - present enough, without hovering. A bit pricey to come here regularly, but it's worth being a treat night once in awhile.

The service was excellent and the food very, very tasty. They were generous and offered more of everything. The beans were by far my favorite part! Used a groupon and well worth it.

Unfortunately I think the quality of food and service of this place has been slipping. The last couple times I've gone, I've been rather disappointed. On my last visit, we got there too early (5:45pm) and they weren't ready to start dinner service yet (wasn't going to be ready till 6:30). Most of the staff had called in sick, so they had one of the carvers serving, and while he tried hard, he just wasn't trained/prepared for it. We had to order from the menu instead of the rodizio, and the mixed platter we each got had several items we weren't really interested in. Hoping they bounce back...

Horrible experience. We went there because we love Brazilian steakhouse style foods. We ordered the tilapia fish, the meat platter and the jumbo shrimp. The tilapia that they use is the cheapest red tilapia that is almost flavorless. The meat platter contained 60% oil and fat, the steak was not trimmed and was mostly fat. Normally I wouldn't complain because my favorite meal is steak, but this was not steak. The shrimp are average size and comes with 6 of them with rice and sauce (for about $16). The salsa is just shredded bell peppers and chilies. The service also was not decent. I went home thirsty because I did not get enough water. Do not go here.

  • Mom M.

It is a sit down restaurant with no buffet. The meat selection was decent but for 34.99 - I expect an expansive selection. Nothing about this place jumps out that I'd be willing to pay 34.99. 24.99 - Maybe and that'd be on payday only.

My wife and I have been here twice and thoroughly enjoyed the food each time. All was cooked well and served warm. The place was not busy at all, in fact it was nearly empty each time. most recently purchased a groupon and made it quite affordable.

Stopped by with a group of coworkers on a Tuesday. According to their hours they should be open, but there was no sign of any life in the restaurant, and no sign on the door indicating why they were closed. Ended up going to Tudo Na Brasa down the road which ended up being a great choice.

New owners have restored this location to provide excellent service and ample amounts of quality food. Delicious, accomodating and properly priced. We reserved the entire place for a corporate event and another time reserved a table for 8. I recommend Braziallian Steakhouse for any size group! Bring your appetite!

Sorry but I was charged 78.00 dollars for 2 adults and an eight year old. Dinner where they came around with many skewers of meat was not what I asked for. Since I never been there before I did not realize the mistake till end. Then they argued with me and would not relent. On top of that the food was overcooked and poorly seasoned

The absolute worst. Having worked in the foodservice industry for over a decade, I try my best to be as understanding as possible when issues arise while dining out. My experience at Brazilian Steakhouse felt like I was sitting through an episode of Kitchen Nightmares.

Having been here once before (when it was under the old ownership) I was thrilled to see that it had re-opened. This place is under new ownership and the change shows! Food was fantastic, service just as good, not to mention the prices have been lowered so this is a great value for the amount of food you get. After we had finished eating this past Saturday, the new owner came over to our table to ensure we had a great meal and experience. His focus on making sure we were happy proves that he really cares about the customer. If you've been in the past you should def go back (especially if your prior experience was less that ideal) We will be back soon

It's interesting having such an amazing experience somewhere I particularly didn't like a few months ago. I went there about a year ago and the service was terrible and the food was bland.my friend wanted to go there so I did. The food service and the whole ambiance was different the meat cutter and the server was quick and polite .the food was vibrant and the meats were so succulent .you can't go bad with beef and bacon or chicken with bacon.

THE WORST evening in a restaurant Ive had in a very long time. I would not go back nor do I recommend it. The restaurant was 1/3 full and the staff was overwhelmed. The owner/manager was rude and fresh and wanted to argue with me when after being there over 2 hours we said that we wanted to get our check to just "go home". We were tired of sitting there waiting for food and drink. We finally gave up on trying to get beverages from the waitress or anyone else and hoped for water. That took 1 hour. It was 1/2 for a salad and then there was no dressing. The meat came out in dribs and drabs and finally we had to ask for the sides. Those took about another 20 minutes. We were served 2 different meats and then nothing for the longest time. We were never served 1/2 of the different items listed on the menu. At one point my husband called over the manager/owner and asked for food. Yes he brought two skewers out immediately. The only thing that was done correctly all evening after being there 1 hour and 45 minutes. We immediately asked for the check which took another 15 minutes. My groupon was supposed to cover the 2 dinners but they added an additional charge to the bill so they could make an additional .98 cents. I guess they need it that badly. Hopefully they will hire some help or teach the manager/owner some customer service skills. We waited and waited to pay our bill. My husband finally said can you please take this. It was for the addtional charge, a coke and a beer. We would have ordered more but it was impossible to get served. He was like you look unhappy. I replied that I just wanted to go home that this took way to long and it was not a great experience. He then got on his high horse and said "Well why not? I brought you over the meat when you asked ?" We replied yes you did but what about the the rest of the night. We had to asked and wait for everything and still after 1 hour ago you told us you would send over with water we still have nothing to drink. Please just let us pay and we want to go home." At this point he began to argue with me in the middle of the restuarant. I was so embarrassed. It was awful. Then he gave me back my card and said "Take your card... your meal is free... Im paying for it all. You wont be back but I dont care. Ill pay for your bill." To which I replied..."You dont need to pay my $9.00 bill..... and I paid for my meal. I brought in a groupon. Its a special you ran and if you think that is you giving me a free meal then you should not be using groupons." He continued to try to fight with my husband and I and we just got up and walked out. It was THE worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. A manager fightening. So unprofessional. What an awful way to treat a guest. We have never had a bad experience using a groupon before and never had such awful service or treatment. I would tell you that they do not represent the Groupon brand at all and would make a person really questions a restaurants reviews before purchasing another. As well.... The place you are using the Groupon at should never be allowed to say to you that you are eating for free. They offered the discount to get business and if they do not like serving at a discount than they should not use the product. In all the other cases that I have used a coupon or or other online groupon style coupon I have never been treated so poorly. It was a most embarrassing and long evening. The owner yelled at me as I walked out I paid for your meal and you'll never be back. He comp'ed a beer and a coke and I didnt ask him to or was not complaining. I just wanted to pay and leave and he is right. I go out to a restaurant to be served and treated with respect. This place does neither !!!!!

Here is my rating breakdown: Quality of food: 3 stars Ambiance: 3 stars Service: minus one? Value: 1 star It takes a lot for me to be truly dissatisfied with a dining experience. After 3 FULL HOURS in the restaurant being largely ignored, this is probably my least pleasant yet. Even more frustrating is that it had the potential to be so much nicer. I think some other patrons had a much better experience than we did in terms of service but it felt like the staff was running around to keep up (and the restaurant was not full). I believe our waiter was particularly to blame, unfortunately. He would come by our table about once every 20-30 minutes and forgot to place cards at our table that tell servers whether you want them to come to our table. Food passed us by for the better part of an hour while we waited. Food is served on square dishes with plenty of garnish and drizzle, trying to appeal to fans of high-end presentation. Unfortunately, underneath the presentation is where things start to fall apart. The selection of meats tasted good overall, but some cuts were under or over seasoned. Some servers didn't give preference of cut, and I'd end up with inedible tough pieces or a piece consisting of pure fat. On to dessert (we're gluttons for punishment after 2 hours): Creme brulee is served on fire. Looks cool, but a lot of alcohol is left over after the display and the crust isn't thick enough. It actually tasted bitter -- not good. I felt like the price of some items such as wine by the glass and dessert were obscured (no reference on the menu or at least not while ordering them). I already knew that the bill would easily touch $100 for two, but this is really pushing it for a restaurant in the middle of Woburn. For the right price, I would say that we had a decent meal. NOT FOR THIS PRICE. To cap off the evening of blunders (and reduce sticker shock), I decided to use up a Visa gift card I had on me. I gave written and verbal instructions on how much to put on the card. After 15 minutes of first attempting to put the entire bill on the gift card, then trying to charge half the bill on it, my server claimed that he couldn't process the gift card because their machines don't take AMEX. (the card was a Visa!) Multiple members of the staff spent a full 20 minutes swiping my credit cards before telling me they couldn't process my payment successfully. I gave up and put everything on my credit card. After 3 hours in the restaurant I would have expected some sort of concern from the owner or manager, or an offer of a discount... or ANYTHING. Instead we were left to ponder whether we should just pick up and leave, and I was forced to stand up and find my own help multiple times.

MEAT MEAT MEAT MEAT MEAT! If you don't like meat then don't go here. We like to pre-fixed meal. It's expensive, BUT it's all you can eat. So, be sure to go hungry. We love the waitstaff. I think most customers tune them out and just point at meat and ignore them. However, STOP...SAY HELLO...ASK WHAT IS ON THE STICK...SMILE and you will get a friendly human serving you, what? Oh...MORE MEAT! Actually the servers can be quite funny once they get to know you. The more enthusiasm you put into their meat on a stick, the more excited they get to see you. Hint....this means...they like you and you get get first dibs on what just came out! So be extra nice to them and you'll get all the good stuff on a busy night! YUM YUM YUM. WE GOT MEAT IN OUR BELLYS!

Visited with my wife for rodizio, and we found some good and bad with both the service and the food. The waitress was very hospitable and attentive, but the meat guys were a bit gruff. Caipirinhas were terrific, my wife tried a passionfruit variety and I went with traditional. We were using a Groupon that included an appetizer, and the fried calimari was tasty but consisted only of rings, no tentacles. Unlike many other Churrascarias, there was no side buffet but the waitress brought small bowls of salad, rice, black beans, "brazialian stuffing", Pico de gallo, and potatoes, all of which were tasty. However when it came time to enjoy the meats we found it difficult to flag down the servers as they strolled by our table. Of the 9 meats promised, two never showed up and two passed by only once. We had to beg and wait for lamb which was delicious when it finally arrived. We also enjoyed the two types of sausages, however the steak and the chicken breast were wrapped in bacon, but the bacon tasted terrible and had to be removed from the servings to make them edible. As I said, we had a Groupon and the experience was enjoyable, but for the price I expect better.

If I was just rating the food and service this place would get 5 stars. The reason this restaurant gets a 3 is because of the price and location of the restaurant. The food and service was outstanding but the price of the meal was ridiculous. This may have been because it was Valentine's Day but our meal cost 137 dollars including gratuity for two people. We each got one glass of wine and a pre-fixed meal. The wine tasted stale. The food was absolutely fabulous and they gave us an obscene amount to eat! I live nearby and I would come back more often if the meals were reasonable. I will probably never come back due to the prices, which is unfortunate.

This restaurant is much improved under the new owner. The two of us came on a Sunday night, when the price for the Rodizio is $16.95 pp instead of the regular $22.95, which is not bad at all. The sirloin was the best, tender, juicy and not dry and overcooked. Right amount of seasoning. The ribs were also very good, fatty and juicy. We also had the Kielbasa and pork loin, both very good. The bacon-wrapped chicken was dry and overcooked. The chicken heart was good. We didn't see any lamb served. We also had two desserts, a mocha cake that is moist, light and not too sweet, and a flan (egg custard) that's creamy and smooth. Both very good. Overall, this is an excellent value.

What the HELL?! Was there a big change in ownership or something? I had not been here for maybe a year, and just to toss it up I decided to go tonight. If I recall, "back then" they didn't do rodizio style. They just served regular entrees, and I believe at the time the price was right. I was surprised to find guys walking around in skewers, so I figure, maybe they just changed their business model. I didn't think anything of it and just told the waiter we'd do rodizio. The meats themselves were okay, nothing that special. The 2nd round I think they under-seasoned...Never thought I'd say this about Brazilian BBQ but on that 2nd rib eye cut I had, they should have added way more salt. Unimportant. The reason I gave this one star is because of how SHOCKED I was when receiving the bill. $90 for 2 people with an automatic 18% gratuity? What kind of jerk put that scheme together? I have to echo other commenters' sentiments. This is Woburn. $35 a head? I don't even think Midwest Grille comes anywhere near this ridiculous price, and not only are their meats better, but they have a giant buffet. How about all you can eat Sushi in Allston at Yamato? Even that is way cheaper, and the food is leagues above Brazilian Steakhouse quality wise. Again, I don't know who changed things at this restaurant (I also noticed they no longer make the fruit/nut smoothies they once did), but they better get their act together or I can see them closing down soon. $35 for average Rodizio style food? Screw that. The audacity to tag on an 18% gratuity for a party of 2? Insult to injury. I will never, ever go here again. This is likely the only time in my life I'll ever admit to being truly ripped off. $90 in Woburn, dinner for 2. Still can't believe it. I can think of many places in Boston where $90 would get me a much better 3-course meal with a bottle of wine. I'm so angry I went here tonight! I should have listened to my girlfriend and gone to Szechuan Garden!

This place is terrible. The whole process feels like a conveyor belt. There are very few (essentially none) menu options besides the $35 all you can eat food train. The servers didn't even let us finish what was on our plate before they were there with the next overcooked/undercooked meat item that was being forced on us. By the end of the meal i had a pile of meat on my plate that looked so disgusting that i had lost my appetite. i will never return here.

We were a bit nervous about dining here, given some of the reviews, but just wanted to say that we were very pleasantly surprised. Not sure how much it has to do with the ownership change (I believe sometime in the past year), but we had a terrific dining experience last night. The food was fantastic, and every time we asked for something that we hadn't had yet (chicken hearts, lamb), they quickly prepared it and brought it out to us. The meat was cooked to my liking (though a bit raw for one of my friends), and the staff was extremely pleasant. Really recommend this spot for a great place to gorge on a bunch of meat, all for around $40 (with drinks).

DON'T BOTHER!!!! I have been to this restaurant several times in the past......BEFORE the "New Management" took over. It's always been good in the past....food good, service good...etc. HOWEVER. Went to this restaurant last night for Valentines Day for the first time since the new management took over. We had a reservation, walked in, and stood at the hostess stand for 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we were there. It's not that no one saw us standing there, plenty of staff walked by, but no one stopped. Mind you, the restaurant was only about 1/2 full when we arrived....not super busy. We finally get seated, and were given menu's. After 20 minutes our waitress finally came over to take our drink and salad orders. Another 20 minutes passed....finally got out Caesar salads, made with iceberg lettuce and DRENCHED in dressing. After 2-3 bites we pushed our bowls aside. Waited....waited...waited.....25 minutes later, after our waitress walked by our table NUMEROUS times without making eye contact, or stopping....I finally had to get up an FIND her to let her know we were done with the salads and we would really like to start our meal. She brought the plates over, and we finally got to start to eat. The guys bringing around the meat were much, much better than the wait staff. Attentive, asked if there was anything special that we would like...etc. I thought the meal was saved. After we were done eating, we decided that we would like some Valentines day dessert....especially since we overheard the waitresses at the other tables offering free dessert to couples for Valentines day. Well.... before we got the chance to order dessert, our check was thrown onto the table without a word. After having to flag the waitress down, yet again, to let her know that we would indeed appreciate some dessert...... we were met with quite a bit of bad attitude. We got our dessert......ate it in a hurry, because at this point we had been there for 2 1/2 hours. Finally got our check, discovered that they charged full price for my 11 year old daughter....who was supposed to be 1/2 price......because she is 11. At this point I didn't feel like having to find the waitress AGAIN to explain it to her, we just paid the check and got the hell out of there. I WILL NOT BE BACK TO THIS PLACE. Although the food is good....the service was just HORRIBLE.

I am a huge fan of Brazilian style BBQ and was excited to see a Groupon for one within driving distance. Unfortunately, the price break that I received did not make up for the terrible service or the mediocre food. I couldn't imagine paying full price for the meal, but the only good thing was that with enough patience I did leave feeling full. Upon entering the restaurant, which had the decor of a nice Italian restaurant, I smelled the amazing bbq I was looking forward to. After that, though, it all went down hill. Our waters were only refilled once over the 2 hours we were there, they continued to come by and push filler (rice, beans, bread) on us, and then when the meat finally came around it was either burnt or too raw. I had enough patience to keep asking for more meat and being picky enough to get decent cuts. Don't think I'll be coming here again, as I would like to not struggle with my dinner.

Was I at the same place as some of these reviews? By that I mean the ones that say the place was reasonable. Obviously, the prices have gone up because I think $35 a person for the all you can eat is pricey. I am not saying it was not good, it was. BUT to charge $35 for all you can eat THEN add $12 per person for their desserts, that changes the all you can eat to $47 per person. Add in the two drinks we each had OR better yet, add in the bottle of wine we were being pressed to choose, and you have a $125 dinner for two...not including tip. ITS A BRAZILIAN BBQ!! NOT ABE AND LOUIE'S!! Give me a break. As I sad the place was nice, the food was good, but not the 5 star restaurant they are trying to make it. They could of made it $25 a person and had the place packed with patrons. Its Woburn. Not Winchester. Its Woburn. Not Newbury St.

We were in this evening with a party of four, the service was great. The food was enjoyable, a bit salty but overall everything was delish. The plantains and kielbasa were phenomenal. The garlic rolls were also noteworthy. We had a great experience and would absolutely return!

A work colleague and myself were in town on business and tried this establishment. It was interesting to try a local Brazilian fare versus the large franchise ones. They do not have the large salad bar which is understandable and fine. The meat was prepared very nice and was tasty so no complaints there. The side dishes were not very good and were a little disappointing. Based on this I would have given a 3 start rating. The service pulled it down to 2 stars. It was a week night and the place was only at about 20% capacity. The service was slow and not attentive. My friends salad was brought with with the wrong dressing and we asked for specific meats and they brought out different ones. As a last comment we were surprised that they charged for soft drink refills. I have not experienced that in quite a while.

I am not sure if I can give 0 star, so I am just giving this dump a 1 star. I went there with my gf for a rodizzio diner date, I felt like this people just want our money, and they would have taken it and send us back out at the door, with 0 service or food. Let me just say that any rodizzio place I have been to, uses cards, flip one side for more, and the other to either stop or take a break. Well this place doesn't have such a thing, instead a server came with a one chicken wing and later with this salty cut of beef...and then asked if me we were done !!! I felt like I was being served a charity or some free meal!!!!....nevertheless as a gentlemen I left a good tip, left to never ever set food there again....listen you want rodizzio, try Chama grill in North Andover you dine with class, and leave fully satisfied oh and it is almost the same price, and from the look of the place, to the stuff, and the quality of the food, the difference is like day and night.

Absolutely Terrible. It took an hour just for our flat, lifeless looking salad to arrive. The "Brazilian" stuffing was more like breadcrumbs in a bowl, and the rice was drier than the Mojave. The waiters kept going by our table with sirloin and ribs, but only stopped at our table with sausage. It was ok, but nothing spectacular. I'm sure it was Johnsonville from the local Stop & Shop. They came by with chicken once, and oddly enough it tasted exactly like ramen noodle flavoring. We never saw any lamb or chicken hearts. We didn't even see any pork until the table next to us complained. The service was even worse, I waited 45 minutes for a drink, even though the bartender had no one sitting at the bar. The waitress was cold and seemed annoyed. I would be too if I had to work there. There seemed to be a lot of people running around, but nothing getting done. I the end our party was charged for an extra meal, which took another 15 minutes to remove from the bill. This place is a complete joke, and is nowhere close to the excellent service and food at Fogo de Chao.

Last year I took some business clients to this restaurant at lunchtime and the food was very good, and they brought over several side dishes, as is customary with Brazilian BBQ restaurants (the large salad bar was only open at dinner time. The lunch price was $16.95/pp, which for what they give you was very reasonable. I understand that they have since changed over management and they have since stopped serving lunch. Before knowing this I had purchased a $50 restaurant coupon, figuring I would take my wife and daughter here at dinnertime sometime. When we arrived last night and opened the menu, there were two pasta dishes, one "special if the day" dish and the BBQ available. I noticed that the BBQ was $34.00/pp, which, in my opinion, is outrageous (having been to several of these places in the past). The waiter came over (who was very friendly and professional) and he stated they did not have the pasta dishes and the "special" just sold out. Mind you, we had arrived at 5:00pm!! I was not going to pay this kind of money, coupon or not, especially with 3 people but when the waiter realized that I was about to leave he offered us the $17 price for my daughter so we stayed. Unlike every other Brazilian BBQ, the ample number of side dishes became a small house salad and some simple entree sides; mashed potato, 2 stalks of asparagus, a small carafe of beans and some pico de gallo (what did this go with). Once the meat starting arriving, though, it never stopped and it was truly delicious (including the cinnamon pineapple). After dinner, another waiter brought over a dessert tray of sumptuous desserts and I figured what's the worst they could cost, $6.95 each, so we ordered on creme brulee and one small lava cake. The lava cake arrived with a scoop of plain vanilla ice cream and the brulee was delicious. Then the bill arrived and they had charged $8.95 for the brulee and $12.95 for a the lava cake (that cost them around $2.50 wholesale). This is what I would expect in a tourist area, where you are taken advantage of since there's always another tourist coming along that won't know any better. Tell me, should I have asked the nice waiter, in front of my wife and daughter, how much for desserts when he came over to the table? Would you, especially in a neighborhood restaurant? Needless to say, I would not go back to this restaurant because of the way they take advantage of their customers

OMG the absolute nicest people work here, I wanted to bring them home with me! The hostess/waitress was a doll. The waiter was just full of hustle bustle & good humor. He presented the meats with a flourish and answered any questions we had. The restaurant is decorated nicely. Tables are set with glowing votives, lighting is low and music is loud enough to hear but soft enough to have a conversation. Very tasteful, I almost felt underdressed coming from a day trip in Boston dressed in "tourist comfy" clothes. The waitress asked if we had ever been to a Brazilian barbeque before. Even though we had, we asked her to explain how they do it since we've found different ways of serving. Here, they bring a salad and a roll, then the sides and then the fun begins! Out of all the sides they offer, Mr. Picky (the BF) would only attempt the salad & the potatoes. We asked if there were other choices --my mind was on something like french fries. She came back and said they had some zucchini they could cook up. We just asked to swap the pico de gallo for some extra potato. She kept me filled up with water and checked on us a couple of times during the evening. The waiter was just wonderful as I mentioned above. When we'd sampled quite a bit, the BF and I started taking one piece to share just so we'd get a taste. We had both loved the rolls so asked if we could have one more. He said he could do that, bustled off and came back in no time with 2 more fresh hot garlic bread rolls. Super yum! As far as the meats, most were really good. One or two were a little salty and the chicken thighs were somewhat bland, but if you added the beans the flavor popped. The lamb and the pork ribs had to be my favorite. I would definitely go back but since we rolled out of there stuffed to the gills, it may be awhile. As far as cost, it is pricey compared to a regular restaurant but very much in step with the Brazilian barbeque we've had elsewhere.

It's a shame they keep raising the prices and changing the menu here. I live in the neighborhood and there's no way anyone local will be able to patronize it except for maybe special occasions. I also noticed they will now be automatically adding 18% gratuity to all parties. I'm a 20% tipper, but it's the principle! The desserts alone cost as much or more than some entrees at their neighbors the Lanna Thai Diner and Pho Woburn. The food and service were always good but they are pricing themselves out of business.

I've only been to this place once so maybe it was just an off day for them. I went here with my wife for dinner just to try a "new" place out. We've been to other Brazilian BBQ places before and the experience we had here was not as good as others. It was just a little too dark and the food didn't seem that good. Especially the gentleman that was slicing the meat, he kept spinning the meat around and giving us thin slices of the dried up sections. I know I'm being fairly general here but it obviously wasn't a very memorable experience. I might be back to give them another chance... but then again maybe not since I live much closer to Taste of Brazil.

Went here because we had a groupon for dinner for two with an appetizer. We presented the groupon upon entering and were seated promptly. We ordered the appetizer (codfish coquette) which came quickly and was pretty decent. Next they brought salad and side dishes for the rodizio. After this we were waiting a while for meat to come out and the restaurant was less than 1/4 full. The first thing to come out was brazilian sausage. Waited another 10min or so for chicken wrapped bacon. Again, another 10min for the next dish (steak kabobs). After this we kept waiting and waiting for other food to come (since the menu listed 10 or so dishes in total) but it seemed like they kept bringing the same 3 dishes around. Finally, we asked the waitress for the lamb and she said she had none. Literally 30seconds later someone else came over to offer us lamb and pork (what??), which was over 1 hr after we were seated watching the same dishes come. Overall, I would give the food 3 stars, but the service 1-2 stars. We had to ask twice for a refill on our water and were in the restaurant for 2hrs total waiting for food.

We loved this restaurant! The food was fresh and seasoned perfectly! The service was great, and the live music was enjoyable! The kielbasa, sausage, sirloin, and steak wrapped in bacon were superb. And the plantains were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We will definitely be back!

The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because of the waitstaff that was very attentive and the food was actually OK. I am Brazilian and go to Brazilian restaurants in the greater Boston area all the time and have to say that a RODIZIO in this area for $35 is absolutely unheard of. You can go to great places for half of that - Braza Grill in Everett and Bossa Nova in Malden are great places and charge less than $20. The other bad thing was that they only have 1 air-conditioner unit to cover the entire main restaurant - I had to ask to switch tables and be seated directly accross from the A/C ... it was 95 degrees the day I went there. So food for food, definitely go to other places!!!! You will eat better and pay a lot less.

We were so excited to try this restaurant since the one in Peabody closed. Got there early and we were seated by the restrooms in the back. Took way to long to get a bottle of wine, getting the food was no quicker. When we did get ours, after everyone else most of it was raw. We did get a lot of chicken and sausage that was cooked. But I came here for meat. To top it off I was sick when I got home. Stay away!

Went their for the first time today. Sat at the bar and had the all-you-can-eat bbq. We were the first ones and only ones there at the time ...so it was quiet and comfortable. The first course was a Ceasar salad ....it was lettuce and croutons sopping in dressing ....so I wasn't sure what to expect next. There was a basket of warm bread with garlic butter on it which was delicious. After that the sides came ....white rice, black been gravy, french fries, sweet plantains, beef and vegetables in a beef broth (bartender called it stew ...but it wasn't stew). My only comment on the sides would be that the plantains were delicious....a slight crisp on the outside and the perfect sweet-ness to go along with some of the salty flavor of the meats. Then came the meats ...kielbasa, chicken wrapped in bacon, pork loin, brazilian sausage, beef sirloin, beef filet ....and finally garlic beef. The chicken was slightly overcooked but the rest of what I was able to eat was cooked perfectly. I did not make it to the garlic beef as I was completely full but it smelt amazing when it was brought out and looked delicious. I wish I was able to taste it. The bill came ot $44 for two of us ...which included the meal, two sodas each and gratuity. For what it was, I think that was a bit pricey. I had a $20 voucher bringing the bill to $24 ...which I think would have been a reasonable total for what we got. Overall, I would give this experience a 3 ...it was good ...but nothing amazing. I would like to go back and order a lunch entree with the garlic beef at some point.

Having been to Fogo de Chao in Addison, TX. I've experienced the "Holy Grail" of Brazillian BBQ. Churrascaria Rodeo comes very close to Fogo de Chao. VERY close! The selection of meats going around was excellent! Everything was perfectly cooked and when specifically asked to bring meats, those were handled within 2-3 min of the request. Really enjoyed the sirloin and brisket! The sides were good, but that and parking is why this place only gets 4 of 5 stars. Limited selection of sides (recommend getting them to bring you samples instead of full orders). The salad was good, but a bit watery. They do charge PER soda/juice drink, so no free refills. Very good quality place and I will be back! Parking is very limited.

This place sucs, got there at 6:45, sat down and ordered drinks and the buffet. drinks came in awhile, salad came in 45 minutes, and then the wait, wait , wait some more, once the food started coming out scarcely, we got the beef, the overcooked lamb/shoe leather. Asked for a drink of water twice, never got it. the fool that runs it comes over at 8:45 and asks how was our experience. We said it sucs we would never come back, then he brings over the bacon wrapped chicken and better cooked lamb. Still the sides , which are nothing to speak of, came halfway during the meal, they sure had plenty of cheap keibasa to spread around. Finally got a drink of water at 8:50 and left. Two fkn hours of waiting for food to come out. Never Never again, waste of money and more importantly, time.

I don't know of any outpouring of praise for Brazilian cuisine but I had expected that, it being a steakhouse, the meat would be first class. In fact it wasn't, neither the meat itself, nor the preparation. Considering the fact that you are here for all you can eat meat, this part of the meal weighs heavily on the review. Went on Valentine's Day, so was stuck with a prix fixe meal that brought the entry price up about $10 over a normal day. Not sure that's a complaint because, in fact, the soup and salad that came with the extra fare were actually very good. Then came a plate of rice with a tasty vegetable garnish and the carousel of skewered meat and seafood. With each new skewer I thought less of my dining experience. The filet was tasty, the flank steak dry and tough, the scallops wrapped in a very salty, oily bacon, shrimp that was tough, with a rub that made your mouth pucker. After several tasting size portions, I had had enough. It really wasn't tasty. The waiter was very friendly and chose a great wine for us but the meat service was slow, very slow considering that the place was less than 1/2 full. At first this bothered me because it was clearly a way to save money on the most expensive ingredient in the meal but towards the end, as I said above, I considered it a blessing. The dessert was very good. I had the Brazilian flan. Very good. With the wine and tip, it was $170 for two people. Not outrageous for a great meal but waaaaay out of proportion to the quality of the dinner we had.

Don't be discouraged by this churrascaria's small interior and teeny parking lot. I was at first, and until we actually were served, I had my doubts. But Tatiana, our server, was amazing. She was super polite and attentive, and had a great personality. She made little jokes here and there and her comfort in the restaurant was very disarming. She explained that we would start with a salad and then an appetizer plate with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Then, the guys with meat skewers would start coming around. We had a casino chip looking thing with red for stop on one side and green for go on the other. As long as you have your green up and showing, you will be offered meat from 16 different varieties, Including sausage, pork, lamb, filet mignon, top sirloin, chicken leg, etc. We found that even when we needed a break and put our red stop signs up, they guys were so nice that they came around anyway. You might think it would be obnoxious but they were all so sweet and nice, it was fun and not obnoxious at all. The quality of the food was excellent. The meats were cooked at different levels so you can chose what temp you want. They slice it off and you grab it with tongs and put it on your plate. They were all super juicy and flavorful. Most amazing was the grilled pineapple with cinnamon. It tasted like the warm beach in the summer and the way hawaiian tropic smells. I didn't know whether to eat it or rub it all over me. Now dessert was a different beast all together. We had a mango something or other cheesecake like thing with raspberry sauce and something that tasted like cake batter drizzled all over it. I also couldn't decided if I should eat that or rub it all over me. I have been to other Brazilian steak houses with huge salad bars and a "viewing area" where you can actually see the meats cooking. I admit that missing these things detracts slightly from the ambiance here, however the quality of the food and personalities of the servers make up for all of it. I would also consider it reasonably priced as far as Brazilian BBQs go at about $35 per person, starting. Well done. I would definitely go back. Oh and it's worth mentioning I discovered this place via aol wowchers which are like groupons essentially.

They say that a great server can save the worst of meals. Valmir is just that person. We never enjoyed a server so much in our lives. He was funny, witty, professional, and overall fantastic. The food however was hit and miss. We loved the sirloin and the leg of lamb was cooked to perfection. It seemed apparent to us that the pork was recooked from a prior time based on the degrees of dryness. The bacon wrapped chicken was also a big turnoff as it seemed to us that it was cooked, cooled, wrapped and cooked again. Not pleasant. The same goes for the beef used in the kabab. The side dishes were also hit and miss. The rice and beans was perfect. The slaw was creamy and fresh. The fries were hot and crispy and over all the sides were sensational. That left the pan of chicken stew which also tasted that it was made with leftover thigh meat. All in all I'm not unpleased. We were one of two tables in the entire dining room and I feel that if the customer base was bigger the food would have been freshly prepared.

Had the Rodizio - all you can eat Brazilian barbecue - from this place a few days ago. I would rate the experience as just o.k. If you have never had Brazilian barbecue, then I am sure you will love it. The food is good, though other Brazilian places in the area seem to offer more variety of meats at lower prices. The salad and sides that come with the rodizio are pretty mediocre. The service was not great - we had to ask for water refills several times. Next time, I will skip Rodeo and head back to Oliveira's in Everett - which also offers the restaurant.com certificates. Their Rodizio barbecue is about half the price with much more variety of meats and sides and better service.

Service was quite good. Restaurant was comfortable. Ordered Rodizio. Served about 8 varieties of meat, and gave us about 7 sides. Meat was highly variable, generally not of the highest quality. Based on the food quality I do not plan to return.

We stopped in here on a Monday night to use a restaurant.com coupon. When we turned it in before ordering, we asked it getting the rodizio for each of us would be enough to use the coupon. It isn't. The rodizio is $22.95 and you have to spend $50. When they say for food only they mean it. I thought they would just exclude alcohol, but they exclude other drinks as well. So we chose to get a dessert at the end to take home. How they can expect anyone to want MORE food in addition to an all you can eat meat fest is beyond me!! First came little salads, iceburg lettuce with tomato, cucumber, and carrots as well as some garlic rolls. We had this in front of us the longest - I'm sure to try to fill you up before the other food comes. Next came all of the sides: french fries, beef stew (good potatoes), cole slaw (nice and creamy), rice, tomato salsa, veggies, and beans. Thank god they were pretty small dishes b/c we sure weren't going to eat all of it! Next came the meat service. We got three different types of sirloin (good, better, best). My bf didn't like his 'good' sirloin but when I tried his I didn't either. His was too salty - I guess it depends on the cut you get b/c mine was great! We also got sausage (yum!), pork (YUM! maybe my fav!), kabob, pork sausage, chicken wrapped in bacon (eh), and...I think that was it. We had to stop the madness because we were so full! Nothing (besides the one cut of sirloin) was too salty and we enjoyed it all. At then end, we got the strawberry cheesecake to go (very good and only 4bucks). The bill after 2 rodizio's, a dessert, and one beer was $30ish total after the coupon. Not too bad considering how much food we ate! Good, happy, friendly servic and good tasty food - we'd go back!

If this place could get 0 Stars, it would. We made a reservation through open tableand arrived on time. We were sat immediately but no one came to our table for 15 minutes. A gentleman finally came asking if we had gotten menus which we had not. He gave them to us and gave us a few minutes then came back to the table to take our order. First he asked if we had a Groupon and we didn't, but we did tell him that we had an open table check. He asked to see it and said he had to check with the owner if he could take it. We politely told him we had used checks like this a bunch of times and he said no problem and went to talk to the owner. He came back and said unfortunately the owner would not accept it. We asked to speak to him and he went and got him. The owner came over and told us that he does not accept those checks. We assured him that he COULD accept it because he is on the open table website and he said he does not accept them. My husband tied explaining to him that he had to accept it but there was no reasoning with him. My husband also asked if he was the owner why he couldn't accept it-and he said he was not the owner and lied to us. Once he did that we got up and left. Turns out the gentleman that was waiting on us was the manager and he was a very nice guy. This place isn't going to last long with their shady business practices!

This place used to be so much better. We had a party of 8 and the service was terrible. We were there for over 2 hours and a number of the meats never made it to our table. Drink orders took up to 30 minutes. I understand they were purchased recently and the new owners have let this place go- definitely not going back.

I've been to a few churrascarias (Brazilian barbecue) places in the past year, and while this one is good, there are certainly better ones closer to the city such as in Somerville, and Allston. I happened to try this one only because it is so close to my house, but It is a good meal nonetheless. The rodizio is the way to go for sure. It consists of a few small appetizers such as rice, beams, and plantains and then all you can eat items from the grill. Wait staff brings around a skewer with a number of different types of meat including sirloin steak, Brazilian sausage, pork, chicken, and chicken hearts to name a few. The meat was definitely on the rare side, and I didn't think the staff came around often enough. Also, this so far is the only churrascaria that I have been to in which you don't have the option to walk directly to the kitchen and get more food. Usually there is a bar with sides that you can walk up to and serve yourself, but probably because of the slightly nicer atmosphere, this restaurant does not have the bar. Overall, a good meal with good atmosphere. I probably wouldn't go back again, having been to a few more authentic places.

Good food -- Disappointed with the lack of traditional Brazilian food. I do not live in the area and went here for a business dinner with four co-workers. I have spent quite a bit of time in Brazil and wanted them to experience some good Brazilian food. I do not know the area very well so when we arrived at the restaurant we were expecting a parking lot. As it turns out there is a very small (maybe five car) parking lot in the rear of the restaurant. There may be on street parking available as well but it was dark and rainy when we arrived and nothing stood out. The restaurant itself is very nice. White table cloths, candles, nice silver wear, etc. In general it was a little fancier then I was expecting but still quite nice. We were seated in a prompt and courteous manner. The restaurant has the traditional rodizio (all you can eat) option as well as a number of cocktails, wines, and meals that you can order. Our group ordered some wine, a Brazilian beer, and Guarana. We all decided to get the rodizio which comes with a salad as well as mashed potatoes, pico de gallo and garlic bread served on skewers. I asked the waitress if they had the following: 1. Feijoada (traditional Brazilian dish)... no. 2. Pao de quijo (traditional cheesy bread)... no. 3. Black beans and rice (traditionally served with EVERY meal)... no. When I asked how they could call this a Brazilian restaurant without many of the traditional Brazilian foods I was told that people in the US don't eat beans and rice, etc. so they don't serve it. Isn't the whole point of having an ethnic restaurant to have food from that country? After getting over my disappointment the meat started flowing in true Brazilian style. Our waiter had a great sense of humor and was very entertaining. The meat itself was terrific... juicy with just the right amount of flavoring (note that I like a lot of salt and seasoning). We didn't stay for dessert however; another table near us ordered dessert and it looked wonderful. I gave this restaurant three stars because of the lack of traditional Brazilian food. However, if you are not looking for a true Brazilian experience but a nice meal give them a try!

I recently went back for some grilled meats and found that ownership has turned over at this restaurant. With different menu offerings, different recipes, different quality of meats, and different prices, I can't say that it's an improvement on the previous incarnation.

Went here last night for my birthday after rave reviews from my husband, and holy god... what a birthday. **Tips for Brazilian BBQ Noobs** 1. Going for dinner? Stop eating by noon. A light snack to tide you over into the afternoon is acceptable. 2. Drink at least 32 oz. of water a few hours before you go, and another 32 oz. either during the meal or immediately after. The key to Brazilian BBQ is hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! 3. The only thing you need to order from the menu is the Rodizio (aka, the glorious table-side buffet of meat on swords). The rest is just useless filler, including the sides that come with the Rodizio. 4. Do not be alarmed if your heart begins racing halfway through the meal. That's just your blood pressure climbing from the sodium intake- it will go away. See tip #2. In all seriousness - this is a really fun experience, and a great place for groups. According to my husband, there's hardly ever anyone there, so you're not fighting for seats, and last night was no exception. For a good part of the evening, I felt like our party had the restaurant to ourselves. The Rodizio was endless... lamb, pork, "chicken bacon" (that's chicken wrapped in bacon, but qualifiers weren't necessary), sirloin, and for the brave: chicken hearts (try one- they're... interesting). For those who think the meat is too salty: all of it is brined before cooking; this is the traditional way of preparing meat for Brazilian BBQs. (Please refer to tips #2 and 4 above for optimum success.) The drinks were strong but delicious (the Caipirinha and French Martini were quite good). I highly recommend this place for groups and parties- it's a fun, interactive protein-laden experience that's worth the drive to Woburn. I'm totally going back - in about 6 months, so I can give my cardiovascular system a chance to recuperate.

Don't think I'll be going back. Dont feel like I got my monies worth. It wasnt a busy night and honestly the meat was too spaced out that each time it came around I ended up passing on a few cause I was already getting full. They serve the bread, salad and mashed potatoes first...and if you're starving then you end up filling up on these before the real meat comes.

Bottom line: OK food, terrible service. We looked for a Rodizio-style restaurant and went to this one based on good reviews. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the service. To start with - nobody paid attention to us when we entered and waited for several minutes. There was no hostess so the folks at the bar that eventually saw us mentioned they will try to sit us soon (they did offer a beer on the house due to the long waiting). The place was pretty busy and they didn't seem to handle that well. We were told we will have a table ready in about 20 min so we decided to stay and wait at the bar (that had a very tiny and uncomfortable space). It took over 35 min till we finally got a table, than we waited another 10 min (!) till we were attended to pick an order. We waited and waited and after another 10 min here comes a different waitress with some attitude asking what we'd like to order. Again. Finally they went to the computer to click in the order, and after another 10 min the salads came. We were already upset with the long waiting but we hoped it'll get better once the meat starts coming. They finally brought the plates for main courses and we figured we should start being served with meat. Nope! Apparently they don't offer meat until you get side dishes, and they seem to take their time (again) until bringing those. So here we were, empty plates, no sides, staring at the skewers going around us over and over, completely ignoring the fact we are sitting there for almost 40 mins already and got nothing but salads. Then finally the sides got to the table and meat started coming in. Meat was quite fine (though we expected more unique offering) but the attitude from the waiters was... uh, weird. It felt almost like every times we said "yes please" for whatever was on the skewer stopping by our table, they were reluctantly doing us a favor of cutting a piece. We almost felt uncomfortable to say yes... Then when we were done and ready for desserts - the waitress came to ask if we wanted anything else. We asked about desserts, and again this reluctant attitude. Funny, I thought the whole idea is to make customer happy to spend more money and maybe come back, but it really felt like serving guests is a burden they try to avoid. Oh well... I hope they do better on less busy nights. We surely do not plan to try them again.

I would ave to agree with some other Yelpers in say that after spending 35 dollars and then spending another 12 dollars on dessert that you can get at Restaurant Depot. Also I have to vent that the bartender can not make drinks. I order a martini and it came out as a dirty one, then the next on was warm. If a bartender cant make a basic drink, should not be a bartender.

Yesterday, my mother and I spent a lovely afternoon together, which (inevitably) ended in 4:00p hunger pains. Being in the area, paired with dual Brazilian Barbecue virginity, we decided to stop in to Churrascaria. One of the best decisions we have collectively ever made. That statement should lead to one of two thoughts (given the 4 star rating): 1, my mother and I are complete imbeciles who cannot forge a great idea together with Benjamin Franklin's aide; or 2, the food was phenomenal and the two of us were the only non-personnel in the building making the whole "Ridizio" thing kind of awkward. One could argue either way... I would recommend Churrascaria to: Meat-Lovers... WOW, I mean WOOOOW. So much deliciousness. People who love weapons... miniature swords of meat deliciousness. People with strong, clean, clear arteries... if not, you might die. Texans... please refer to "Meat-Lovers". I would not recommend Churrascaria to: Vegetarians... although I vaguely remember a "vegetarian" menu section People who like to hear their waitress... she was the quietest person alive. Social Butterflies... I have no idea why there were not more patrons in this establishment. The food is sooooooooo good. Even given the three creepy, meth-addict-look-a-likes affront of Churrascaria (I think/hope it's a bus stop), and the lack of restaurant-banter-white-noise, I really enjoyed my first Brazilian Barbecue experience at Churrascaria.

I had my doubts about this place when we first pulled up. It's very deceiving from the outside but you can never judge a book or a restaurant by its cover. We had made a reservation and were pleasantly surprised to see that the place was filled and almost every table was taken (so, how bad could it be?). The servers were extremely nice and helpful...they were so welcoming and all worked together to make sure that every guest had whatever they needed, whether it was filling up the water or pouring the wine, they were all so attentive. The food was amazing! The meat was delicious and so tender...and cooked perfectly. And, it never stopped coming out of the kitchen (you get your money's worth!). If you go here, try not to fill up on the extras that come with the bbq. My favorite meat was a sirloin with a garlic sauce and the parmesan crusted pork. Even though we had no room for desert, we got a piece of red velvet cake to go and it was delicious the next day. I would highly recommend this place for a fun, interactive date night.

Just happened upon this little spot while in Woburn. Fast and good! Just enough variety in both sides and cuts of meat. Just be careful... once you start choosing all the delicious options, your meal can tick up over $10.00 as they price by weight. I liked this little joint a lot.

MEAT!!!!!!!! I was in hog heaven, skewered and bbq-ed hog heaven. MEAT! The pork, chicken, lamb and beef was flowing and freshly charred. MEAT! I could not eat the meat as fast as it was being sliced at our table. MEAT! If it wasn't prefect, don't fret, they will be back soon with more. MEAT! The sides were delicious. MEAT! I even had a piece of broccoli to be healthy. MEAT!! Oh, and an insider's hint: ask for the pineapple, it may change your life. MEAT!!!!!!!!!

This place was a lot of fun, the atmosphere was easy going and everyone (patrons & staff) seemed to be having a good time. The manager was very helpful while giving us wine suggestions and explaining the Rodizio meal. The live entertainment added to the good experience we had here. The Rodizio meal was great. Lots of food and many different flavors. My favorite meats where the chicken and sausage, we did not get to try the lamb or chicken heart so we will have to make a return trip for that. The sides were also great with many different ones to choose from. The food, when you get the Rodizio just keeps on coming, they will refill any sides you want more of, though you get so many in the first place you have to have a huge appetite to need more, and the servers that bring the meat will always be 2 steps ahead of you so your plate is always full. A previous reviewer said that the meat servers did not pay much attention to them, I did not find this the case, even with 3 larger groups, we never had a problem, in fact we had to turn then away a few times because there was just to much on our plate. This was my first experience at a Brazilian restaurant and I will definitely be making a return trip here or other Brazilian restaurants.

Haven't tried the buffet yet (but next time we go, we definitely will) but we've tried the steak & shrimp rodeo along with the Moqueca de Peixe. Everything came out SUPER HOT (i.e. heat) and what was supposed to be medium-rare ended up being more like well-done. It was ok though because the steak was still pretty good. One of us got the steak and shrimp rodeo and we noticed it was $2 more than the regular steak rodeo. Guess how many shrimp we got? TWO!!! $1 per shrimp? Yikes. The funny thing was, we ordered the shrimp rodeo for an appetizer and received 7 of them for $9.95. Go figure. The Moqueca was pretty good but again, it came out and was literally still boiling. It probably took a good 20 minutes before I was able to eat spoonfuls (as opposed to sipping it like hot tea). The pirao that came with it was a table favorite though, especially when mixed with their rice. When the Moqueca did cool down, it was very good but maybe a tad salty for my taste. Definitely had to spoon some out onto a pile of rice rather than taking spoonfuls of it alone. The service was a little on the slow side but the staff was very pleasant to deal with. We went on a Sunday evening around 7pm. There weren't many people there, so it was a nice quiet dinner.

Went here last night. It is under new management since the first time I went. Candlelight dinner, a little on the fancy side for me. I was in sweatpants because last time I went it was a lot more casual. Got the rodizio. A very good salad with amazing dressing and very fresh, garlic rolls that came on the skewer which was cool and very yummy. Then the sides, a very fancy presentation of mashed potatoes ( melt in your mouth and smooth) collard greens, beans ( with pork in it and like a barbeque sauce) I dont like collard greens, and two piece of asparagus ( dont like them either so no comment). Then the parade of meats.Chicken with bacon, sirloin ( yum), garlic sirloin ( the garlic completely overwhelmed the meat) pork ( layered with so much pepper it overwhelmed the meat) pineapple with cinnamon ( so so good, ive never had it with cinnamon, the perfect compliment) so many meats its all a blur. buffalo wings which my friend told me were spicy. we got the lava chocolate cake for desert, it was amazing. service was formal and very attentive, maybe a little too attentive. I felt like I couldnt get a bite before something else was being offered to me. Waiters were very friendly and professional. But when we got the bill our jaws dropped to the floor. For two people, rodizio and one coke and dessert, the bill was 95 dollars including the tip. Ive been to way better places for rodizio for tops 60 bucks. Beware, you pay the price for the very formal atmosphere. Will not be going back, way too expensive and not worth the price. I understand rodizio is expensive, the most ive seen is 26 bucks per person and that was worth it. The new management needs to wisen up and drop their prices and drop the very formal atmosphere because there are much cheaper and much better rodizios around, and in my opinion, the very formal atmosphere with white tablecloths and candlelight does not lend itself to eating messy and greasy meat that goes everywhere, and all you can eat.

This place reminded me a bunch of the long dead Pampas in Cambridge. The restaurant itself is pretty plain and nothing to write home about. The drinks were tasty -- two of my friends had caipirinhas and I had a kiwiroska. What is this you might ask? Only awesome sweet muddled kiwi with sugar, ice, and vodka. I loved this drink! They served sides at the table (yay, red beans and rice! made my little hispanic girl heart happy) and the meat is served on swords like a standard churrascaria. Meat highlights: 1. Kielbasa -- WOW! best kielbasa I have had. 2. Pork -- juicy and flavorful 3. chicken in bacon -- for the first time, not at all dry 4. Sirloin -- juicy and tasty Non meat highlights: 1. Flan -- perfect texture. It was cooked properly! None of that grit from cooking the eggs before a custard forms. 2. Beans -- so very tasty and they used red kidney beans. Perfect on the rice The service was very friendly and though not overly attentive, very nice. I would definitely come back here.

This restaurant left a bad taste in my mouth--in more ways than one. For starters, the service was dreadful. Our party of 4 waited more than 20 minutes for drinks to be delivered to our table and places to be set. The host kept running by our table ensuring us that the Ridizio (grilled meat buffet) would be coming right up. We waited. We waited some more.. After a few minutes, our waitress brought us some salads. They weren't even cold. (Ugh!) Then came the small appetizers. They were extremely bland. :-( Finally, one of the waiters came by with a skewer of meat and.. delivered it to another table. There was a large party going on a few tables over from us. Much to our disappointment, 90% of the skewers went to the party. Despite paying $22 a person for the Ridizio, our table got very little meat. After a little while, our waitress came by and asked us if we everything was okay. We informed her that none of the waiters were stopping at our table, even though our marker was flipped on the "green side". She scurried into the kitchen and out came two waiters wtih meat skewers. The meat was extremely salty and overly-seasoned. A few minutes later, more skewers came out and they went--guess where!--to the large party table in the back. We were so disgusted with the service that we left. I've been to Brazilian Churrascarias before in several other cities and have never seen such poor service. If I could give this restaurant less than one star, believe me, I would. Don't waste your time here. Go to Midwest Grill downtown or someplace similar.

Horrible! Will never go again! Prices were outrageous, service was poor. Went on a Sunday night the place was dead and they couldn't bring out the meat any slower. Unlike most Brazilian bbqs this place does not offer a buffet but only a measly plate of white rice and veggies. For 34.95 pp you can go get an amazing steak dinner! Food wasn't worth the price. Just nasty don't bother!

Under new ownership, this place is great. The Brazilian BBQ was good and drinks were better. The food just kept coming out and was hot and not over cooked. The staff was fantastic! The bartender was awesome and waitress was very attentive. The owner even came over to check on us. I recommend this restaurant and it's too bad Yelp doesn't remove all the old reviews since this place has new management and much better prices.

The food is mediocre. The meats are hit and miss. A couple of them ok, rest quite ordinary, and not enough choices. The accompanying salad was terrible, and rice and beans and sides so pathetic. Normally would have rated it as an average place, but the prices are not average! They are way over-priced! After you order all you can eat buffet, they bring out the dessert tray, giving you the impression that it is a part of the buffet. Well its NOT, which added another good $25 to an already over-priced meal (for 4). Just the other day, I got 50% off deal from Groupon for this place, and I still didn't think it was worth it. Would never go back, when there so many more authentic places. Seems like a place for gringos (except that even gringo are savvier these days)

I recently had dinner here with four friends and we had a very enjoyable time. We all ordered the Rodizio. The service was excellent, I don't know the gentleman's name who was our server, but he was really funny and constantly made sure the meat was cooked well and to our liking. I really enjoyed the food as well. All the meat was cooked well, from the sirloin and the pork to the chicken hearts and the sausage. The "buffet" is placed on your table instead of the standard walk around; the restaurant doesn't have enough spaced for a stand alone buffet. I actually enjoy this version better because you don't have to get up and waste your time walking around when you could be stuffing your face. Like any good Brazilian BBQ, just make sure you bring your appetite and you'll certainly have a good time.

Went here on a saturday night, great atmosphere. the waitstaff is really nice. seems like they have a good wine selection. they waiters keep coming out with meats on skewers, and pretty much everything i had was amazing. definitely a good date place, the only drawback would be pricing as it was 34.99 per person for the rodizio. but i am sure i'll be back!

I came here for dinner with 5 other friends using 2 very generous groupons ($45 for $100 worth of food)! They have a huge selection of meats here, most of which I really liked. I wish I was able to try all of them though, the server never came around for 3-4 different slices that they had (It was very busy at dinner time though). A lot of my friends actually got tired of eating meat after a while, and so was I. However, we did have a meat lover in the group that couldn't stop! The service was excellent here! Our glasses of water were always filled and everybody was very friendly. One of the only cons they had was the very limited amount of parking. I would say there are about 10-12 parking spots in the back and around the restaurant. I also noticed that there was an mbta bus stop right out front, that seemed cool to me as I often take public transportation.

Very enjoyable meal, actually worth it's price. None of the meats were dry out as is all too common in Brazilian places. The bread was outstanding, the salads and sides also very good. Service was excellent. Quantity, staggering. Desserts look impressive, but no way we could even share one. A fifth star? No, the wine list is very disappointing. Almost all the lower price wines ($30 - $42) were low rated wines. Luckily, there was one Pinot Noir that was well rated and excellent.

I took advantage of a groupon offer and headed out to enjoy a great meal. The food was great. What of it I did get. I was intrigued by the number of meat options the website offered, only to find out that once I got there, they kept offering the same 4 meat items. What I did choose was great. The cooked mozzarella was a delight. I was finally asked if there was something else I wanted to try and I asked what my options were. I was then told that most of the other meats had been put away already and if there was something special I wanted to try the chef would cut it a piece and cook or warm it for me. This night was not turning out to be the culinary/ dietary dream I was looking for. Now I felt rushed, not to mention the price is not cheap. Even with the groupon, dinner for two with 3 drinks and a shared dessert was close to $160. I by no means received $160 worth of food and drinks. This is why I give the 3 star rating.

Loved this place. The food was fabulous and the meats just kept coming. I was stuffed by the time I left and enjoyed every minute of the experience. We were seated and served quickly and the waitress was extremely attentive. I also had a groupon that defrayed the cost of the all-you-can-eat buffet but even without it, still worth the price. Very nice wine selection as well..

This place is FANTASTIC! Went there on Saturday night with my fiancee and we had one of the best meals we've ever had. We got the rodizio. There were 16 different meats to choose from that were brought around table-side by some of the politest and funniest waiters you'll ever meet. They clearly love their jobs. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth delicious with just the perfect amount of spices on each. The sides were awesome as well. We got to meet the executive chef, Chef Alex. He's a really nice, friendly guy who clearly has a passion for what he does. The restaurant was very clean and the ambiance was great. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody who appreciates a good cut of meat and a great atmosphere. It's a perfect place for any occasion.

I went this past weekend with a bunch of family members and it was awesome! We went on restaurant.com and got a $100 gift certificate that only ended up costing like $20. We had a big group -- about 10 of us, and we all really enjoyed the food. It was reasonably priced ($23/per person) and we got SO much food!! The garlic bread was warm and buttery and to die for. The pico de gallo was spicy and yum. The veggies, rice, plantains... everything was cooked to perfection. The skewers of meat came out at a rapid pace, and we tried all of them (well, I didn't try the chicken hearts. They looked kinda ewe). The red meat was very good and they had it cooked at all different temperatures (rare, medium-rare, medium), so everyone was pleased. The chicken was a tad dry, but then again, I've never had white meat chicken that WASN'T dry. I had the tiramisu for dessert, and considering this is a Brazilian place, it was delish. I also have to rave about their service. The young woman who seated us and got our drinks and explained the menu to us was incredibly friendly and sweet. The guys who brought around the meat and all the side dishes were also very attentive. If you want extras of anything, all you have to do is ask... and the food never stops. Every time we turned around, someone was bringing more food to the table. The restaurant is small, but nice. Pink tablecloths, a small bar, nice bathrooms, dim lighting... it's cute and cozy. Also, they have parking in the back and are very conveniently located. Highly recommend for a big group of people!

Took my girlfriend here to use the restaurant.com $25 gift certificate on $50 for two entrees. Even though I presented the manager with the certificate when we arrived he refused to honor it and tried to argue that we must spend $75. The food was good but the service was terrible.

We tried this place on a Wednesday night and it was pretty good: The setting is pretty nice, and the wait staff is extremely friendly without being obnoxious. In order to get a good overview, I decided to get the Rodizio: this is a mixture of buffet (rice, salad, vegetables, etc.) and catered Brazilian BBQ featuring beef, pork, chicken, kielbasa, Brazilian sausage, lamb, and chicken hearts. The restaurant was not very crowded, so we were treated to a new selection of meat every few minutes. Did I mention it is All-You-Can-Eat? They REALLY mean it! The quality was pretty good: if you had Brazilian food before, you know what you are getting into (salt, garlic, fat, and lots of real flavor) and you will have a great time. If you never had Brazilian before, I'd recommend going with some lighter fare. The wine selection is not extensive, but they feature some red wines from Brazil which fit the fare. Bottom line: If you are in the area and want to try something ethnic, this place is probably a good choice.

I went with my ma and pa to check out this place, which is up the street from my house. We went at about 1pm on a Sunday and there was only one other party there. Over the hour we were there, it filled up a bit, but as one of the first parties for the lunch crowd, the first few meat offerings were all cuts from the outside. (Like other Brazilian BBQ places, staff carries skewers of various meat items around from table to table, and the slices of the roasts are cut from the outside, but the inside cuts are generally more my speed.) We sat there long enough and ate so much that we eventually got to the "choice" cuts from the inside of the roast. The buffet was incredible, with the typical potato salad, etc, but there was a great Brazilian chicken salad, black beans with pork, some sort of beef stew-type item. All delicious. The meat offerings that I remember were: Brazilian sausages, Kielbasa, Lamb, Beef, Chicken wrapped in Bacon, Pork and Chicken Hearts. The chicken hearts were a bit overdone, which was a bit disappointing, but the lamb was incredible! I'm not usually a fan of lamb, but this was tender and without that gamy taste that it oftentimes has (which is the reason I don't like it). My other favorite was the Pork, which (once we got to the inside cuts) was juicy and tender and slightly spicy? I don't know with what, but it was goooood. The service was good, quick and friendly - almost too quick! There's a doohickey on the table with one green end and one red end, which you're supposed to flip to indicate you want the food to keep coming or stop for the moment. The adorable skewer-carriers ignored the red on our table to continue to offer us more and more meat. I kept eating, but I felt slightly guilty about it. They also have grilled garlic bread. Narm narm narm. Anyway, I'd go back. The food was really good and the price ($15.95 for the buffet for lunch, I think $21.95 for dinner) was reasonable considering how much freakin' food I ate. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 was the weird parking situation (street only), the overcooked hearts and the initial cuts that were all from the outside. I will be going back! I'd encourage you to check out their website, but it's not in English. :) churrascariarodeo.com

Shows up on Restaurant.com as "Rodeo Steakhouse." Unlike a previous reviewer, we were not given any difficulty using our restaurant.com $25 coupon. The atmosphere inside is a pleasant surprise. I think I dismissed this restaurant previously because of the giant, red-lettered sign outside. We started with Capirihnias, which were potent, well balanced, and delicious, and then moved on to the Rodizio. After an initial, bland salad, we were served sides consisting of black beans, rice, steak fries, beef stew, roasted vegetables, salsa and possibly a few other things that I'm forgetting. The table was full, and the sides were tasty. Immediately after, a server started making the round with spits of meat. Kielbasa, other types of sausage, bacon wrapped chicken, chicken wings, various preparations of beef, pork, and lamb, sliced at the table. As mentioned in an earlier review, drinking a lot of water is probably a good idea. The food was very tasty, but the salt content was probably off the charts. I wasn't bothered by that during the meal, but definitely felt it afterward. Overall, I enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service.

I have been to this restaurant twice and each time is better than the time before. The wait staff is so friendly and the chef came out to meet the customers. If they have not brought around an item that you want to try, they ask you what they can get you and bring it to you. The cost of the rodizio is $29.95 which is def on the higher end of BBQ places but the quality is really good and I purchased some groupon's to try this place so that helped a little. The staff actually came around and said they were under new management and offered you a coupon with no expiration for your next visit with $10 off so that helps as well. I am def a fan and would go back again, bring your appetite because there is a ton of food to be tasted.

This place was phenomenal! I must say not having been to a Brazilian steakhouse before we didn't know what to expect. The waitress sat us right away even though we were 15 minutes early for our reservation. We sat at the table with the column (that another woman posted about) and it wasn't a problem...the host actually asked us if the vent under us was bothering us and if we wanted to switch our seats due to it being cold air blowing out. The waiter explained in detail about how the meal was organized and was open to questions....he visited us often to see how things were going. The sides were perfect size, fresh cilantro and not too overwhelming. As for the meats...incredible. Perfectly seasoned, not too salty. The filet mignon was so tender, you barely needed a knife to cut it. The steak and chicken wrapped in bacon also amazing. Everything was great. Especially the grilled pineapple seasoned with cinnamon. the servers were awesome. Everyone smiling and laughing, not nice for a tip just genuinely kind. I am big on good service and I cannot say enough about the ppl that work here. After the meal we were stuffed and the waiter told us he was actually one of the new owners. He was talking about how the price had increased since the last owners but that the meat was of a better quality. Honestly, it was worth every dime. my BF and I are taking our parents soon. Never going to another Brazilian Steakhouse....this is the one!

Just enjoyed dinner here with my husband and two children. It was our first time at a Brazilian steakhouse, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The servers were all very friendly and made us feel welcome. Based on some of the reviews I was somewhat hesitant to give this a try, but I am so glad we did. There was nothing disappointing about the entire evening. The salad was very nice with baby greens and a nice balsamic dressing. The garlic rolls were a hit with the kids and grownups alike. Once the meat started coming, it just kept coming and coming. After then first few I started asking for "tiny" slices so in could try as many as I could. The gentleman serving was a delight to speak with, and a real character. We filled up, but managed to find room for dessert. The kids enjoyed the lava cake, full of warm chocolate goodness served with vanilla ice cream. I had the vanilla flan, a traditional dish and a true delight that everyone loved. My husband had the creme brûlée which was nice. All in all, it was a fun evening, with the continuous arrival of new delights keeping the kids entertained. The only negative was some of the meats were a bit salty. The rest of the experience more than made up for that (and if you found a particular cut of meat too salty, a new selection was always on it's way soon). I was especially delighted with the friendly service from all of the employees. We felt like guests in their home, and they took pride in making everyone comfortable, ensuring any of our needs were taken care of. As a note they did mention their menu had changed within the last few months, so those who may not have cared for it before should give it another try. It is a bit pricey, but well worth it for such a fun experience.

In terms of food itself, it's very good, the plantains, the beans, all of that are delicious. The meat itself is pretty good as well, although some pieces if food I've had were pretty dry and overcooked, but the worst offender of this place is the service. We had a table for 4 that was next to two large tables of 8 or 10, and we were always ignored over the larger table, it took 20 minutes from us sitting down to even get a glass of water and attention from the wait staff, and time after time skewers of delicious meat fresh from the kitchen went to other tables other than ours (or so it felt like) in a half empty restaurant that's just unacceptable. They did apologize for the slow service so they were obviously aware of the issues even though we never said anything, but in the end it just left a bad impression.

I have to say the place has a great atmosphere. My brother got a great deal from groupon and the whole family went. We all got the all you can eat BBQ. I found the filets not good. Overwhelming with the bacon. I did however love the bottom and top roast, the sirloin, the ham and pineapple. The first round of meats were better than the second. It tasted like they went to reheat it the second time around. The pineapple was to die for!! The staff were very friendly. I cant say one bad thing about them. I will however say the desserts were very over priced. I cant see $12.95 for a piece of chocolate cake. That's plain insane! I will definitely go back.. but I will make sure I get as much meat the first time around as I didn't like the second round.

Terrible, terrible service. I went here a little while ago with a restaurant.com certificate which had been purchased when the coupon could be used for both food and alcohol. By the time we made our reservation, the policy on restaurant.com's website had changed, though our coupon had the previous policy. We called ahead to double check and had to argue with the manager because we had bought a coupon for $100 of food, with the intention of taking 7 people to dinner. The minimum amount we had to spend was $200, but without alcohol we didn't think we could reach that (we were planning to try the buffet/special) without alcohol. The manager would not honor the terms of our coupon. He then told us one thing and then went back on his word when it came time for us to foot the bill. He had said he'd take off half of the bill even if we didn't get to $200, which he did not. He gave us a discount, but for less than what he said he would have given us. It's not the money; it's the principle, and it just felt sneaky and dishonest. The food was decent, but I've had better Brazilian food and because of the terrible service, I would never go back here.

i've been to brazil and have eaten at some of the best steak houses. back in the states good ones are hard to find. porcao in miami, brazilian grill in hyannis but tonight discovered churrascaria rodeo by mistake. caught my eye as i was going to an important meeting couldn't drive by. under new management with great ambiance and excellent brazilian music i swear i was in copocobana. now came the test of the food. had churrasco on my mind but the italian menu almost swayed me. started off with a strawberry caipirina, succulent as was the brazilian girl that made it. now to the meats. i missed the business meeting, and i will pay dearly for it but i didn't want to leave so i ended up getting thrown out. guess i'll have to go back tomorrow and start all over again. meat lovers you must go.

For a suburban joint, pretty darn good. buffet selection doesn't quite match that of the Midwest Grill in Cambridge but overall a decent Brazilian BBQ. Has live entertainment on weekend evenings too.

Excellent Brazilian food. Service must improve during peak times. We have been there during medium times.. which is fine. I have only had the buffet... and the pineapple finish is great
