My husband and I have stayed numerous times at this wonderful inn. It is an excellent value for a clean and comfortable room with a breakfast that simply cannot be beat! Deborah and Jim treat you as family and go above and beyond to accommodate all their guests. We recommend the spacious Sleigh Maker room with its relaxing jacuzzi tub. The inn has all the amenities of a larger hotel minus an exercise room, however the school across the street has an outdoor running track I believe open for use to everyone and if not gym and yoga options are available at nearby businesses for a fee. If you need to be in Westborough or the nearby areas overnight or for an extended visit then this inn is where you need to stay period.

I really loved this B&B. I stayed two nights just after the 36" snow blizzard in late January. Deborah and Jim went out of their way to make me happy. Similar to a previous posting, instead ordering me a taxi, Deb offered to, and then took me to my place of work each morning, and offered to pick me up too, but it wasnt required in the end. I loved the breakfasts in the morning - so original, but very tasty, and filling! The historic building and bedrooms are really beautiful, and very well maintained. I was in the Sleigh Maker room, and it was awesome. I just wish I had had the time to try the jacuzzi bath. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs to stay in the area. I'll surely be going back on my next trip to the area. Thank you Deb and Jim!

I stayed at the Sleigh Maker Inn for two nights while I was visiting the Tufts Veterinary School for work. I have to say, Deborah and Jim have a really wonderful thing going on here. They were completely gracious and went out of their way to help me get to the inn after I arrived via commuter rail, and again taking me to/from the vet school for my meetings. They absolutely didn't have to do any of it, but they offered so I didn't have to pay astronomical fees for cabs. I can't thank them enough! The inn itself made me feel so at home. The sitting room has plenty of comfortable seating if you want to settle in with a book or newspaper, but don't necessarily want to stay in your room. They had it festively decorated for fall, which was so much fun! I stayed in the Writer's Room, and found the space to be tranquil and comfortable. The bed was heavenly to sleep in, which is something I find very important when I travel. I loved having an en suite bathroom, which was actually roomy, and even a little TV for those times I did feel like staying in my room for the evening. The two breakfasts I enjoyed were great - Deborah is an amazing chef! She makes sure your food allergies are taken into account (I'm lactose intolerant), and that the food is delicious and healthy. You get a nice, three-course meal with coffee/tea and some kind of juice. Overall, I would absolutely return to Sleigh Maker Inn if I am ever in the Metrowest area!

Stayed here one night, in town for business. My only regret was that I didn't arrive until almost 11pm and wasn't around long to enjoy this place. Deborah was a most gracious host. I will never stay in a hotel chain when in this area if I can help it. The amenities and service are top notch and the price a steal for what you get. Thanks for a most restful evening Deborah, look forward to seeing you on my next trip up.

When you choose a place online there's always the worry that you'll get to somewhere that turns out to be nothing like promised. Thankfully, the Sleigh Maker Inn more than lived up to my expectations. I can't say enough good about the wonderful hospitality of hosts, Deborah and Jim. They have just the right attitude toward their guests: friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Deborah's breakfasts are a delight! I'd come just for the amazing food. If you're in the area, this is the bed and breakfast you should stay in! I hope to return again sometime in the future.

My boyfriend flew from London, and I flew from San Francisco, meeting in Boston just in time to settle into my childhood home with my parents. It was supposed to be a lovely time, chatting, playing games, and just hanging out. My parents hadn't met my partner and I hadn't seen them in years. Unfortunately, a few things conspired against us. 1) My parents are hoarders, with a house filled to the brim with books, magazine clippings, foodie stuff and random knick-knacks. 2) They thus do not have a guest room so much as they have a room with a twin sized daybed hollowed out amongst cliffs of teetering presents from Christmases way, way past. 3) There was a big, wet snowstorm that completely knocked out power (meaning heat, light, and refrigeration)... for three days and three very chilly nights. But there was a light at the end- my parents got us a B&B for my partner's birthday at the Sleighmaker Inn, and god, what a reward it was! With a beautiful jacuzzi tub we could both fit in, a bed that was heavenly in its softness, sheets that were divine against the skin, and a breakfast that was filling, healthy and delicious, I had a lovely time in there. The decor was a sort of Victorian shabby chic Americana that really worked with the house. We were in the most luxurious room, and it was fabulous. We even had a cheese plate waiting for us! There's an on-site parking lot and some restaurants nearby, plus they had a handy guide giving you ideas of what's around. There was another guest there while we were there- never saw or heard him, which should say a lot in terms of soundproof walls! The owners also teach swing dancing if you're interested which was neat. Definitely recommended and will go back!

We stayed here for two nights, and we will absolutely be back. This B&B features fabulous food, great accommodations, and extremely competitive pricing. While the rest of our group stayed at big chain hotels with horribly inflated rates(due to the number of graduations in the area at the time), we were treated to a clean, quiet room and a number of perks easy to overlook on the B&B's website. There is also a train station in Westborough that goes in to Boston, and it's pretty easy to navigate if you want to go to the city for the day. The breakfast menu is different every day, consists of three courses, and can be tweaked to accommodate allergy or dietary preferences. Everything we had was delicious, and the portion sizes were appropriate. The coffee was amazing, and the available tea selections could not have been better. We stayed in the Editor's Room and couldn't have been more pleased. The decor involved a number of subtle touches that made the stay really something special. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the sheets were amazing. The bathroom was a great size considering how many rooms are on the floor. Also, the innkeeper makes her own soaps(solid and liquid) and features them in the bathroom. The inn has a wrap-around porch in the front with rocking chairs that overlook a lovely assortment of flora. There is also a back patio if you prefer to be away from the street. Also available to those who choose to stay here are a bottle of port and a plate of cookies to end the evening. This was a lovely touch I haven't had anywhere else. The owners of this B&B are as flexible as I have ever experienced. They were able to accommodate our(very) late check-in, asked when we would like to have breakfast, and in general were as helpful and amiable as anyone could have been. The cost to stay here was incredibly affordable. Considering everything that is included in a stay, I doubt I could have done any better at another area hotel even if there hadn't been several graduations occurring.

My fiancé and I decided to celebrate our anniversary by having a weekend getaway at the Sleigh Maker Inn. When we arrived, we decided to upgrade to the Sleigh Maker Room and were so glad we did. All of the rooms were exquisite, but our room was particularly spacious and had a beautiful jacuzzi. Deborah and Jim were WONDERFUL. They were so friendly and helpful- they offered recommendations for activities and restaurants and went out of their way to help us any way they could. Breakfast was amazing. Everything freshly made and created with our tastes in mind. Deborah also makes her own soaps so we had a fun time shopping for some gifts as well! We absolutely recommend this bed and breakfast to everyone- we are hoping to make it our tradition and go every year!

My wife and I have stayed here twice, and look forward to future visits. This is everything a B and B should be (too many B's, I know...). But seriously, the owners really make you feel at home here. The rooms are luxurious enough (one has a Jacuzzi to boot), the place is great to look at (19th century furnishings and decor), and the breakfasts are fine. The pace is a great value, as well. It's convenient to Tufts Vet School and close to the train to Boston.

This is a wonderful B&B to stop for a night, a couple of nights or 3 weeks like my son and I did. Jim and Deborah take you in like you are family. The rooms have private baths and very comfortable beds. Deborah fixes a gourmet breakfast every morning to suit "your" needs. A large selection of teas and coffees are available at all hours and in the afternoon she provides a sweet like cookies. My teenage son attended an internship at UMASS Medical in Worcester for 3 weeks so he and I used the Sleighmaker Inn as our weekday base. On the weekends we traveled the North East. Every Sunday night we looked forward to coming back to the Sleighmaker Inn after a weekend of staying in chain hotels. Deborah and Jim really make you feel at home. We also enjoyed chatting with other guests we met who stayed during our stay as well. Tidbits...they have soft sheets, lush towels, Wi-Fi and TV's in each room. We found the location to be central to many areas of Mass.
