Came here for a mini family reunion, party of 15. The restaurant was accommodating in seating our party and provided two servers for us. The restaurant is immaculate inside with a very fun tropical theme. The food and drinks were excellent. My only gripe is that they make the drinks looks so nice in the menu pictures but look miserably boring when you actually order them. My tip would be to sit outside. They have a great patio with live music.

I really wish I could be giving a better review than this, but unfortunately this is what our experience was at this location. To preface this, I LOVE the Bahama Breeze restaurants. I have been to several in Florida and other states and always had a great experience. The ambiance and service have been what makes it great, as well as the cocktails. At this location the ambiance is different. There were no steal drums (and even if they didn't have them live, they could have played the steal drum music in the speaker system), the server was awful and not in a happy cheery mood like I am used to and even the cocktail wasn't great. The food is always just so-so and so I don't necessarily come for the food, but when the other aspects are lacking you rely more on the food and notice how it is not up to par. We highly enjoyed the chicken wing app, but everything else (tuna tower, jerk pasta, coconut shrimp, onion rings and plantain fries) were just ok. This location needs to step up their game when it comes to atmosphere and service.

One of the most delicious Caribbean treasures I've ever had outside of the Caribbean. From the decor, to the patio, to the beautiful plate setting, I find this to be the new gem of the Nashua hotspots! I will definitely be back to enjoy the live reggae music and have my taste buds teased and satisfied by the well balanced drinks and chef prepared specials!

Good drinks, food was decent and nice presentation. But manger was rude. Will not return to this location.

I came to this place with a big group last summer. I absolutely love the concept of this restaurant. The Virgin Islands is one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited and coming here took me back. We sat outside and were seated right away even though it was a busy night. They had a lovely lady singing and playing the drums. She brought joy and laughter throughout the restaurant. I don't remember exactly what I ordered but I remember the food being alright. I definitely remember them having big portions and good drinks though. I need to go back so I can give a better review on the food but honestly the atmosphere sold me. My party and I really enjoyed ourselves that night. It's the perfect place for a birthday or just a fun night out with friends/family.

I'm giving this place 5 stars for the Wood-Grilled Turkey Burger Topped with caramelized onions, guacamole, vine-ripened tomato and arugula on a toasted brioche bun. It's one of my favorite meals here.

Last night, I introduced some of my friends to Bahama Breeze, which is located behind the Pheasant Lane Mall. The food and service was excellent, complements to the chef and our server, Justin, who was knowledgeable about the menu. On their drink menu, they have a wide array of cocktails, which aren't expensive as well as look and taste great. If you like fruity cocktails, I'd recommend the Bahama Mama and Curly Tail. The Bahama Mama consisted of three types of rum (Malibu coconut rum, Myers dark rum, Barcadi rum), Banana Liqueur, and two types of juices (pineapple juice, orange juice). It is garnished with a Maraschino Cherry and Pineapple Wedge. It was a sweet tropical alcoholic beverage with a foamy top. The Curly Tail consisted of Barcadi Oakheart, Malibu Rums, and citrus juices. It was garnished with pineapple chunks and lizard. After ordering our drinks, our server was no where to be found for 15 minutes but he eventually came out of the kitchen to take our food order. For appetizers, I'd recommend the Coconut Shrimp, which consisted of six large, crispy, shrimp battered with flour and coconut and served with citrus mustard dipping sauce. For entrees, I'd recommend the Wood-Grilled Turkey Burger, Key West Shrimp and Grits, Grilled Chicken with Cilantro Crema, and Applewood Bacon & Cheddar Burger. The Wood-Grilled Turkey Burger was topped with caramelized onions, guacamole, vine-ripened tomato and arugula on a toasted brioche bun. The Key West Shrimp and Grits consisted of tender shrimp sautéed with bacon and mushrooms in lemon butter sauce with fresh green beans over cheesy grits. My friend said the dish was on par. The Grilled Chicken with Cilantro Crema was served with mashed potatoes and roasted corn topped with a blend of three melted cheeses drizzled with cilantro-cream sauce. I fell in love with this dish. It consisted of tender chicken breast grilled with a sweet and tangy salsa-like marinate/glaze. I loved how the restaurant added roasted corn to the mashed potatoes as well as topping it with three cheese blend. It certainly made the side more interesting (in a good way) and made the side sweet and savory at the same time. By the end of the meal, we were too full for dessert :(

This restaurant takes you to another place. I almost forgot I was in Massachusetts . The tiki post and the live band on the patio give you nothing short of Bahamas. I ordered the the conch fritters which I disliked ,but the shrimp and grits where very good. There was an abundance of shrimp. The staff were extremely pleasant and attentive.

Usually don't venture into massachucets for casual dining and drinks, but we're in the area for a birthday party and we had a baby sitter. Great margueritas and very friendly service. Give average reviews because it was very crowded on a Saturday night. (Too crowded). Reminds me why I love living in New Hampshire!

My husband and I went to the Bahama Breeze. The place was even flowed with an average night crowd, plenty of staff, and open tables, yet we waited 15 minutes to be seated. After we sat down, we waited for our waitress for drinks, and then waited even longer for her to be ready for us to take our order. Being me, I order my usual salad and my husband got a basic burger. We waited over 45 minutes, and never saw our waitress again. We ended up walking out. Very sad, because I did not ever expect such poor service from here.

Recently had lunch at Bahama Breeze, was surprised to see the chain in MA, after dining at one in Florida. I was dinning with 2 kids for lunch. Very few positives to relate in this review. The kids ordered burger sliders, two small overcooked patties on stale roles is what they received. It looked like a regular burger was cooked and broken into uneven parts. The kids did not finish their meals. I ordered a soup and taco special. The chicken tortilla soup was awful, there were carrots and what I though was potatoes in the soup, both undercooked. I was later told it was Jicama. The soup did not resemble any other chicken tortilla I've had before. I sent it back for the Cuban black bean. That soup too was uninspired, and bland. The adobe chicken tacos were smeared with off color guacamole. We had also asked for lettuce for the kid's sliders. They came w/o any toppings...not event pickles. The lettuce was the garnish type, and was unwashed. Gross. Service for a quick lunch was very slow, and the staff did not help out each other. After reading other reviews it sounds like there are serious problems at this restaurant When the manager stopped by to see how our meal was, I explained it was terrible, showed him the lettuce, and he comped my meal. This was fine, but I suspect that the folks in charge have a lot of work to do with the kitchen staff. Good luck, but we won't be back.

    1. We waited an hour for our table after reservations. We got a booth for 7 people. Three of us are meatheads. So picture a can of sardines with 7 people. 2. They ran out of rice. So we ordered again and waited again. 3. The buttermilk chicken was overcooked so they took it back. However, they had no problem charging us for it. 4. Two bathroom stalls had no toilet paper. 5. Jerk chicken pasta was watery and runny. However, our waiter Ryan was awesome and he deserves 5 stars. Drinks were also on point! Unfortunately, the restaurant needs to work on their management skills because it was absolutely horrendous. I already had low expectations after reading reviews but I guess I should've had no expectations at all. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to have a shitty experience

My husband and I have been here a couple of times, good and bad, food and service. Really seems to depend on the day, time, manager on duty?? We have decided not to go back as it's just not consistent.

I enjoyed the authentic Bahamian food! I had a Bahamian style Coronita, a Bahamian style tortilla soup, a Bahamian style Cuban sandwich, and I was very impressed with all three dishes. Our waitress was extremely disappointing, made no effort to speak with a Bahamian accent with us. I just wanted to feel like I wasn't in Tyngsboro, MA for one high second and she ruined it for me.

I will not be back. Terrible food and service. I waited 30mins for a drink and 45 for an app... When the app came out is was gross and cold. The fire cracker Shrimp was inedible and I had to send it back

This restaurant looks awesome from the outside and even the music coming from it sounds way to good to be true but yes it is I was sucked into, the food was something less desirable maybe if I got drunk which by the way they push the drinks on you it would have been ok because at that point when your drunk the food all taste the same I think they need management to take a trip to the islands to experience real island food plus the food was cold yukkie

**BEST STAFF** This is the go-to place for me and my boyfriend. We come here atleast once a week and it's always a great experience. The food is unbelievable and all reasonably priced. Their happy hour specials are great if you want a drink and an appetizer. Great place, great food!

I was out of work early and decided to take myself out to lunch. I chose here only because it has been so long. I sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly. I ordered a glass of wine and the Cuban sandwich. The sandwich was really good. One of the better Cubans I have had. It wasn't to greasy and cheese wasn't gushing out. I would defiantly order that again. Lunch was $16, not bad. I would give it another shot.

Came here a Sunday afternoon with my husband and friends of ours we were craving seafood. We got some great tropical drinks, they were fantastic. We got the firecracker Shrimp appetizer it was great! I got the seafood paella it was good a wee bit salty but fine. My husband got the pan seared salmon over pasta he loved it. Now the deserts were phenomenal. We shared the chocolate pineapple upside down cake. Outstanding. Our friends hot the chocolate Island, they like that a lot. Atmosphere was nice, music good. All in all I'll go again but I'll try something other than the paella.

I have been to Bahama Breeze several times and have yet to be disappointed. This last time, we were able to sit out on the patio. They had someone playing the steel drum and singing - reminded me of being in Jamaica! I had a salad with salmon on tostadas. I forgot to ask for the dressing on the side, but was pleasantly surprised to find that my salad was not soaking in the dressing. My only minor complaint would be that the salmon was only slightly overcooked; but still it was tasty. My husband had a burger and it was cooked exactly as he wanted. I may have given a 5 star rating if the service were just a little quicker.

Absolute worst customer service possible. We got there at 5:30 on Friday. We were seated immediatly which was one good thing. We were there for happy hour which ends at 6. We waited 15 minutes for service. Then she came and asked if we wanted drinks. We ordered them. In another 15 minutes (now 6pm) we got the drinks and were asked if we wanted to place our food order. We ordered apps, (due to happy hour special). The food was actually great. The argument came when we got our bill. We expected a $25 food bill for 1/2 priced apps during happy hour and instead got a bill for $50. I said but we were seated at 530 and it took 15 minutes to get our drink order in and then another 15 to get a food order in. The server said "Sorry, but the food order had to be in by 6pm. On the receipt, ours was in at 602. Give me a break. I looked at her and asked for a manager. She said they were not available. I paid $50 in cash. This is the first time i considered a chew and screw, but i didnt. Instead, i looked at her and said since your service stunk, here's a penny for your tip. Never again will we go back there.

I've never been to this chain, though my friends had been multiple times. They spoke well of it, so we went here one night while I was up in NH. I can't really say I was disappointed, but at the same time I wasn't blown away. I got the Cuban sandwich and it was a pretty standard Cubano. Good, not great. Apps shared were firecracker shrimp tacos, which were very good and a perfect app size. Drink was a Long Island, which is always a crapshoot since every bartender I have encountered make it differently. This one was decent, not too sweet. My friends ordered a drink not on the menu, which seemed to puzzle the server. Not sure why. The full bar seemed well equipped for any drink order. For some reason, it took the server close to 10 minutes to bring our drinks back and it wasn't even busy. Maybe they were distracted by the news that Michael Sam was cut? Who knows. Overall, a run of the mill chain that could be in anywhere, USA.

We really like this place. Food is decent and it comes out quick. Drinks should be better for the type of place this is. Don't get the Ultimate Piña Colada, the regular is much better. Happy Hour is especially good with half price appetizers. Kids love the coconut shrimp. They like the virgin drinks. Desserts are good too. Get the pineapple upside down chocolate cake. It is pretty darn good.

We were hesitant in coming here in the first place. From the outside looking in, this place seemed packed full. No outside seating and the parking lot (it is a large parking lot) was close to full. We still decided to head on in and there was plenty of open tables. We were seated right away on the inside. The food I got was great. I ordered the Key West Shrimp and Grits, and just like our waiter said, I cleaned the plate. My friends ordered some rice dishes and everything about those dishes were as expected. My buddy said "I wish I could keep eating because its good but I'm just so full." I am a picky rice eater so I generally move away those types. The portions were filling and the food wasn't too expensive. The next time I come here, I will probably stick with eating from the seafood section, and hopefully I get the same waiter, Paul. I mean this guy was walking back to the kitchen after talking to another table and I was about to give up waving him over until he turned around for a last second check up on his area. I am going to give this place four stars because I've only been here once, but it was an enjoyable first time.

We were seated after a couple unpleasant glares from the unfriendly Asian hostess. After ordering our drinks and apps from one waitress, another swoops by to take our order, unaware we'd already been served. Then our first waitress returns and they exchange a few words with each other, right in front of our table. Awkward and unprofessional! Service then continued to be slow and unpleasant (restaurant was not busy at the time). I had wonderful food and experience at their FL locations, this one was incomparably bad in every aspect. Feel free to come here if you can put up with service from a ratchet staff.

Long wait. There's no reservation required, casual place, our waitress was really nice and attentive. Nice n clean. Very nice decor. Loved my meal except for their cinnamon mashed potatoes. But be your own judge. Also with that meal came grilled chicken topped with a mango glaze and chopped mango on the side. But what topped our whole dinner was really the appetizer (chicken tostones) OMG!!!! That was extremelyyyy delicious and cheesy if u like cheese.. that is a must have trust me u won't regret it... :-) enjoy!!!

My daughter and I stopped in for lunch and I got the lunch Combination Key West fish tacos. Really delicious! Seasoned to perfection! The guacamole (on the side) is fresh and spicy, just the way I like it! The salad was great, too! house dressing was tasty. We got the hummus from the Snacks and Small Plates menu. Comes with amazing baked flatbread chips. So good. My daughter enjoyed her chicken quesadillas. I can't comment on those as I didn't try them. Service was great - we had a waitress and a gentleman who was in training. It was his frist day and you would have thought he was a lifer. He knew the menu (even offered suggestions) was attentive, funny, respectful, and very outgoing. Class act! One of the chefs even stopped by the table to say hello and ask about the food. I had to mention not only was everything delicious, but everything was just so pretty! We ended our meal with Rebecca's Key Lime Pie. Amazing!! I will go back just for the pie!!

Part of the charm of Bahama Breeze as I have known it, is the location- right on the water in Tampa, Florida. Unfortunately, Daniel Webster Highway in Nashua, NH lacks much, if not all, of that charm. Though the service when we went for lunch was fast and attentive and the food was pretty good, it's not so delicious that I would become a regular. I like the coconut shrimp and the signature alcoholic beverages, but a view of the retaining wall across the street isn't as cool as palm trees on the intercoastal waterway. And the loudmouthed NH whale in the booth next to me was no substitute for the bottlenose dolphins you can spot from the outdoor patio in Tampa. The free face lotion in the men's room is cool though, if you like to moisturize or rub out a quick one during dinner. What is this all about? I hear the womens' room had mouthwash, too. Homeless people take note.

I stopped into bahama breeze for a late lunch the other day with my fiance. Our waiter, Eric, was very friendly and helpful. I felt sorry for him having to recite his favorite everything.. drink, app, meal, fish preparation.. It seems a bit much for a table that says they have been there before. I'd suggest cutting it back to maybe one or two suggestions, one being something new (especially for people who have been before). Anyways, I ordered the black bean burger with a tomato salad. I appreciated the option of having a healthy side dish at no extra charge. The burger was delicious, and had a nice crusty outside. My only suggestion would be to add onion strings or something to add a little crunch. Maybe a toasty bun? With guac, melted cheese and butter lettuce, there werent a lot of different textures. Very good experience and very affordable.

We made a reservation for 12 people on OpenTable. We also called to confirm our reservation. We waited an hour and a half for a table. The manager was very kind and got our group free appetizers. When we finally got to our table the service was so lacking. We had 2 waiters and both seemed like they had better things to do. They came to our table very few times. I got a salad with salmon. My salmon was very small and my waiter even noticed and told me that he was having the cooks get another piece for me....it never came. Both our waiters spent their time literally sitting at 2 other tables talking to their friends. It was a very frustrating dinner and I don't think I will be back.

The food here is great, there's no doubt about that. What's lacking is good service. We waited to be seated for about an hour, and the host had an attitude whenever we checked in to see how far we had gotten up the list. We almost left. If you really want to dine here, it's definitely worth making a reservation. Once we were seated, the experience improved. I ordered a crab cake, plantains and a mushroom sandwich. All were delicious! I'd come here again, but only with a reservation.

We seem to be going downhill here. New things on the menu don't sound really appealing. I mean, bean burger? Have you ever tried to eat that in public? Messy. Not to mention that no one is coming to BB for veggies. The drinks continue to be overly iced with straws that get more ice than drink in your mouth. The awesome apps (goat cheese peppers) are history replaced with the usual, boring, suspects. Our regular meals were good, but the things that made this place special are evaporating...at the wrong time of year....

Came here after finding Olive Garden Packed with a 40 min wait. Me and my boyfriend decided to give it a try and our experience was amazing. We were sat upon arrival, server intoduced us with some specials and a very positive attitude. Coconut mojito was awsome and apps and food arrived within minutes. We will be back soon, this is one of the best restaurants I have visited.

4 of us went for dinner last night. New menu but my wife ordered the jerk chicken No mushrooms please. It came out with mushrooms we did send it back and explained she was allergic to mushrooms it came back in 3 minutes. With Mushrooms . The manager came over and sent it back again now she could not eat with us. I am surprised they did not take it off the bill. Oh well never again

I do have to say when my friend and I decided to give this place a try last night, wr were not expecting it to be decent at all. But from the moment we walked in until we left we were surprised at how nice and big the restaurant is, how attentive the waitress was, and how good the drinks/food was. I had not been to this building since it was On The Border way back in the day and loved how much it had changed for the better. I am giving 5 stars because for a restaurant like this in the area, its a pretty big deal since nothing around here is that good and I tend to stick with the Boston/Cambridge area. For a drink i ordered the signature bahamarita frozen cocktail. It had the right amount of sweetness that i love and i liked that you could add the amount of triple sec you wanted since they give a little shot of it that comes attached to the martini glass. We split a little plate of chips and salsa just to start with. The salsa looked like it was fresh made in house. My friend went with a regular burger and fries, and he said his burger tasted really good and it was cooked perfectly the way he asked. I had the jerk chicken pasta. It was actually really good, creamy, and not too spicy like the waitress had warned me before hand. It had the right amount of flavor needed. I especially loved that it had asparagus in it as well. It was a big enough portion that I ended up getting it packed and had the next day, still tasting great. Our waitress was very attentive and always asking us if we needed anything or if everything was good to our liking. The prices for drinks and food were very reasonable. I am sure after this experience, we will definitely be comin back here.

We have given this restaurant 3 shots. The food is beyond horrible and the service is not much better. The only thing that is half decent is the drinks, however, you can get the same at any local Chinese restaurant for half the price. In addition, the last time we went, we just got drinks however, they had live "entertainment" on the patio and it was so loud we only stayed for one drink and we weren't even outside! Never going back here again.

I received a gift certificate to this establishment for my birthday and decided to give it a try. My husband, daughter and I went for dinner. We ordered the Jamaican wings for our appetizer, which were pretty decent. Not sure that we would order them again - we can make better at home. We ordered the baby back ribs which were absolutely delicious. We also ordered the coconut shrimp which were out of this world.

Went there for the first time with a group of my Coworkers! and i loved it! the drinks were sweet and made with all kinds of Rum (which was awesome!) the food was seasoned and tasty, real Caribbean vibe in the place with reggae music on. The staff was so kind and fast! We all decided to meet there at least once a month. It was that good!

Just went here last night for my second time and I have mixed feelings. Upon entering the building I approached the hostess "Alyss" and received a very annoyed "how many" greeting while handing me the buzzer- no hello back, no welcome, no thank you, not even an attempt at a forced smile and it wasn't like it was busy. We were told about a 20 minute wait and were seated in about 15. Our waitress was very friendly, which made up for the bad interaction with the hostess. The food was good, just your typical chain restaurant cuisine with an island flare. I think I'll come back for a nice easy good weeknight dinner out. I got the Key West Fish Tacos and specifically said I did not want cilantro, which the waitress made note of. When I got the plate, you could tell that cilantro had been sprinkled on top of the tacos and scooped off before serving to me. Unfortunately, they didn't get it all and I had to remove it myself- thank goodness I am not allergic to it. Once we got the bill, we realized we were charged for an appetizer that we didn't order or receive and had to have the waitress remove it. As we were walking out, the same hostess just looked at us like she couldn't be bothered and didn't even say goodbye or have a good night. Go here with the expectation that service is spotty so you are not disappointed and make sure to double check your bill before paying. Also, if you sign up for their "Island Insiders" club on their website, they will email you a $10 off $20 food purchase which is a great deal.

I am amazed that people wait in line to eat here. We decided to sit in the bar as opposed to waiting. We were greeted nicely and served. We ordered two simple items. The jerk shrimp appetizer took over 30 minutes to come out as we watched others get served although they came in after us. Not once were we informed that there was a problem. There was no Cuban bread either as it was just regular bread. The fish tacos came and the tortillas were stale and hard. Being that we waited so long for food, we were not about to risk another long wait. The food was not worth the wait. Seems to be a place to party but it would be very expensive as drinks are not cheap. I cannot believe that people even give this 3 stars. I predict that this place will be gone in two years only due to its lease. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME and MONEY HERE!!!!!

I'm really surprised that this place doesn't have better reviews. I went last weekend with my parents and aunt and uncle for my aunts birthday. We were greeted by very friendly hostesses and told there would be a 15 minute wait. We went to the bar and ordered drinks and the bartender was really friendly. The drinks were delicious! They have an amazing drink selection. We waited less than 15 minutes and were seated in Chantal's section. She was GREAT! So friendly, very attentive and she had no problem putting up with our rowdy group. We ordered appetizers, the ahi tuna, wings and coconut shrimp. Everything was great. One of the wings was very undercooked but once we told the waitress she brought out a whole new order even though we had eaten the rest of them! The seafood chowder was also a big hit with everyone. I had the salmon and the mashed sweet potatoes, which were amazing. Everyone was really happy with their food. I was too full for dessert but we ordered a few and everyone said they were just as great as everything else. The prices are fair and the atmosphere is really fun. I highly recommend Bahama Breeze, we had such a great time, we will definitely be going back!!

My husband was invited to dinner here. It's a new franchise that opened recently in the area and he said he'd check it out with his friend and report back if it's worthy of a dinner out together. However, after checking out their menu online, there really ain't much I would eat here. How -- in this day and age -- can you expand a restaurant franchise with absolutely NO vegetarian dishes? They even have a "Entree Salads" section of their menu -- nope, meat in every dish! Really? Cmon!

Lunch recently, big attractive place and it was really busy, a waiting line for lunch in tyngsboro!!!!! we ate at the bar, service was ok as there was just one bar tender covering everything and some of the local tables so she was pretty busy, drinks were good, small selection of beers, food was very good and pretty reasonably priced so we were impressed....not really my type of place but pretty decent!!!

Bahama Breeze is now open, which is located just south of the Pheasant Lane Mall in the former On The Border. Bahama Breeze is a fun place to eat and drink with a tropical Caribbean themed atmosphere and menu. I've dined at Bahama Breeze a few times when I was in Florida and enjoyed it! This is not quite the same feel as the other Bahama Breeze locations in Florida. I'm typing this review as I'm enjoying dinner at the new Bahama Breeze in Tyngsboro. The restaurant has a bar area with seating at the bar and booths (with TVs) and the dining area has booths along the walls/windows and tables and green plants in the center. There's also a outdoor covered patio area with table seating and flatscreen TVs hanging overhead, which should be a very popular place to hang on nice days and evenings. I can remember eating in the big wooden patio area with fire tiki torches in Ft. Myers which was very open with live music. There's tropical music playing over the speakers here. After work, I drove down here from Concord NH for an early dinner today when Bahama Breeze officially opened its doors to the public at 4PM (one of the first paying customers), "training in progress" signs were finally taken down after a long period. The place was moderately busy, but not mobbed yet. I was seated in the bar area where they were offering select happy hour (4PM to 6PM weekdays) appetizers for $5. I was also going to order a Bahamarita with my dinner, but I decided to go with 2 appetizers with my ice water. For starters, the Coconut Shrimp ($5-special) were fantastic, (butterfly) sliced up the middle, spread out, coated with flaky coconut breading and deep fried, very crispy on the outside and hot & tender shrimp inside, served with a citrus mustard dipping sauce with a fresh pineapple slice. Also, the Beef Empenadas ($5-special) (4 of them) (similar to West Indies Patties) were very good, filled with ground beef, potatoes, carrots, & spices, served with cool sour cream dressing and mango apple salsa. For dinner, the Shrimp Creole over Yellow Rice ($9.99-lighter portion) was a pretty good spicy dish, which had plenty of tender shrimp (cleaned), green olives, sausage, and tomatoes served over yellow rice with black beans around the dish. For dessert, the Warm Chocolate Pineapple Upside Down Cake ($5.99) was a very nice ending to a great meal. This cake was warm and very moist with a molten chocolate center topped with caramelized pineapple ring, cherry, raspberry sauce, butterscotch brandy sauce, and whipped cream. This dessert was very sweet and very rich, a great treat for those with a sweet tooth. Overall, the food was very good and the service from my waiter (Justin) and other staff was very attentive and informative. I was told by Justin that the staff got to sample many Bahama Breeze dishes during their training. This is good since the staff can describe the food to the customers and make recommendations. Several staff including the manager stopped by to check up on things. I wasn't rushed as I was using my laptop to take care of some work and to write this Yelp review. By the time I was finished with dinner after 5PM, the place became very busy with waits to be seated. The patio area was open since it was such a nice day outside. I am very glad that Bahama Breeze is now in my backyard and this will definitely be a great place to hang out with my buddies. Ya Mon!!!! (4.5/5.0 stars) FREE WIFI Great luck and prosperity to Bahama Breeze on their new restaurant in Tyngsboro, MA. ******* This is water under the bridge. I have to note that this is the first official Yelp review of this Bahama Breeze since the place (officially opened) its doors to the public on March 12, 2012 at 4PM, an initial first hand and relevant experience of this particular location. I also reviewed another Bahama Breeze location (Sawgrass Mills) in 2008, which was a completely different experience from Tyngsboro. I had the intel several months ago that Darden was opening several Bahama Breeze restaurants including in MA and I would traditionally wait until opening day when I was in the restaurant to write a review. While the food I had at both locations was very good, the very well trained staff in Tyngsboro were more attentive and timely than the staff in Sunrise, FL, night and day experiences. I will also note that Darden is opening a new Olive Garden in Clifton Park, NY in April (I saw it under construction). It would not be relevant to post a review of that location ahead of time & about experiences at other locations since iPhone users could be disappointed of driving to the place & it's not open yet. Boston Yelp Elite members know what I'm talking about?? Flashback to 2009 regarding the Friendly Toast on Boston Yelp Talk (search the topic: FTR Standards). The author of that post (Devon M.) was definitely in the right and justified to start the topic, with official word from the Boston Yelp Community Manage

In two recent visits service was much improved over my early October visit. Entrees are still on the small side for the price, but most items are well prepared. I do not know why food quality is not as consistently good as it was just a few months ago, but I hope for improvement on that score and will continue to check back. Bahama Breeze is still to be recommended for ambiance and a unique menu to tantalize your tastebuds. Lusciously tropical on a cold winter day.

My friends and I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago, only to find that it was still in the process of opening. We were excited to realize that it was now open and ready for business, so naturally we planned a date to go out tonight. It was well worth the wait. For starters, if you ever get Chad as your waiter, listen to anything he tells you. He was very knowledgeable of the menu, and helped me make a decision on what to eat for dinner; I am extremely indecisive when I go out. With his recommendation, I chose the Cobb Salad. It came out presented beautifully; it had chopped avocado, cheese, chicken, spring greens, egg, and chopped tomatoes. Everything was arranged by group on top of the spring greens, and served with vinaigrette and blue cheese dressings on the side. Everything was extremely fresh; the greens were not wrinkled, old tasting, or discolored, the tomatoes were extremely sweet, and the egg wasn't crumbled all over my plate. It was a delicious and filling salad. Chad was very attentive to the table, even though the location was filled, he came to check on us often. And not that my friend and I are complaining; one of my friends and I were full and ready for the check, but the second he mentioned "fresh key lime pie", we had to order a slice. It was AMAZING. Don't tell my mom, but Bahama Breeze's key lime pie is way better than hers. He described how they made it, and that it was made with fresh squeezed key limes. You could taste it. Once again, it was presented beautifully. All and all, this was an amazing first experience at the restaurant. I really hope that this service continues into the future. But no doubt, if the quality of the food and staff continues as it is, this restaurant will be a success and go-to favorite for myself and a lot of people. It's definitely a new spin on sit-down food that the Nashua/Tyngsboro area needs.

I've come here several times, and I've always had good experiences. I don't know what these other people are talking about. The service is always very friendly, and helpful. For newcomers, they'll always give a rundown of the menu and explain the fresh fish menu. Happy hour appetizers are a good deal. Beef empanadas and yucca fries are my favorite! I wish it came with more mango salsa though. I like their small plates menu and I'll often order a bunch of these. Two words: HOMEMADE DESSERTS. I'm sick and tired of all these chains having frozen, "imported" desserts. Bahama's key lime pie: fabulous. My favorite is their bananas supreme. The caramel sauce is super fantastic.

Jamaican jerk pasta was excellent, seafood papaya was a little too dry. Drinks were ok but I found the Long Island ice tea very watered down. Atmosphere was good I think I would try it again and sit outside and hope the drinks were a little better next time.

I love going here. The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious (I've yet to need a doggy bag -- not because the portions are small, but because I'll eat it all, regardless of how full I am). Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the Tyngsborough/Nashua area

I recently had the pleasure of trying bahama breeze and it was absolutely terrible. This place makes Applebee's look like fine dining. Started off with some frozen coconut shrimp appetizer that tasted like they came out of Long John Silver's drive through window, next we ordered some of there "hand crafted tropical drinks" which were suppose to be there signature mojito's but tasted more like a glass full of sugary syrup and whole milk, to top the whole experience off I had ordered the jerk chicken for dinner when it came out it looked like a f*ckin jerk had put it over a grease fire for an hour or so then threw it on a plate with some microwaved sides...100% disgusting, so bad i couldn't even eat it, it was so black and burnt. The manager came over and tried to make me something else I told him it was so bad I wouldn't feed it to my dog. The waitstaff and manager were nice and took the terrible items off the bill but I am not sure how a place this bad is even in business the bahama brinks takes sh*thole chain restaurant to a whole new level.

Food was okay. Wife enjoyed the fish tacos, burger was nothing great but the kids Mac and cheese is fantastic. Charged us for a soft drink we never had. Plus the cost of said soft drink was $2.59, I think that is high. I also noticed they charged for the cheese on the cheeseburger, (.50). Felt a little nickel and dimed, so we won't be back.

We just finished a delicious meal at a bahama breeze. They have a large variety of really good tropical drinks, I tried a few around my table. The food was delicious, I had the jerk chicken wings and shrimp and grits. Nicole was very attentive and made sure we had everything we need. A good waitress/waiter makes the experience even better. I am definitely going back and take advantage of the outdoor patio when it isn't 5 degrees out.

Waited for the crowds to die down to try this out. Went there on a Monday and the parking lot was only about 25% full. We were not very impressed with the menu or the dishes we ordered. Clearly the focus of the restaurant is fruity rum drinks--that takes up a large portion of the menu. The food on the menu is a little of this and that but pretty much all familiar dishes. No interesting "Caribbean twist on xyz" or anything original. The food is also pretty bland which is not what we expected given the caribbean theme. They were pushing the wood grilled fish so I ordered that. Only 3 choices: salmon, tilapia, swordfish and two sauces. I got an almost tasteless piece of white fish with some orange marmalade ladled over the top. For an appetizer we had the firecracker shrimp which was just fried shrimp in with the tail chopped off and a chipotle mayo on the side. Eatable but not spicy at all (it was one of the few dishes marked spicy). My wife had a Cuban sandwich which they didn't even bother to press--just pork on a bun. Nothing was bad. It just was uninteresting. We're not considering a 2nd visit.

Went here for the first time a couple weeks ago with my girlfriend. She had been before and said the food was excellent. We went on a Tuesday night so crowds were minimal. I liked the woman playing the steel drum on the patio- really added to the Bahamas theme. We were seated quickly but I found our service was mediocre at best. There were long spells of us not seeing our waiter in between ordering our drinks and our meals. Our main course took the longest to come out. We each ordered a burger done medium-well but mine was burnt to a cinder and had no flavor. I don't think hers was much better. We did have the artichoke-spinach dip with tortilla chips for an appetizer and we both enjoyed that. She ordered a virgin piña colada which was also delicious. I liked that they served a variety of tropical beers, which included one of my favorites which is difficult to find around these parts. All in all, I liked the atmosphere and the theme, but the deficiencies in service and the unexciting food are what is keeping me from wanting to make another visit.

When we walked-in the hostess greeted us like we had just insulted her mother. The restaurant had a low volume of customers and we were not given a choice of being seated in the dining area or the bar area. We were shuttled to the bar area. Once we ordered, our appetizer was brought out before our drinks. Getting someone to check on us must have been extra or maybe you have to call ahead to reserve good service. We wanted plates so we could share the appetizer without having to hover over one plate. We were doing the customary rubber neck, needy eyes to get someone to come over to our table. After 10 minutes of waiting, my spouse got up walked to the other side of the bar and asked for plates. Again, the restaurant had about 10 tables going in the bar area and nobody was sitting at the bar. --not busy Once our entree arrived my spouse asked the food runner for mustard (we knew the burger would get cold before we saw our waitress so she pounced on the opportunity to ask the food runner for mustard). The food runner gave my spouse a dirty look but brought out the mustard anyway. The food was on par with similar chain restaurants. We had the onion rings, fish tacos, cheeseburger, key lime pie (got dessert "to go" because we couldn't stand the service). The only comment I have about the fish tacos is that they need to drain the liquid from the fixings before they load it up in the tortilla (usually a sign of being rushed or just not worried about presentation). I would only consider take-out at Bahama Breeze. If you want to enjoy a true restaurant experience where you are waited on, you may want to breeze past this establishment.

We had lunch there yesterday. We have been excited to try this place. We arrived about 3:15pm. We were seated immediately. Our server was Kim who was extremely pleasant and accommodating, she was right on top of everything. The drinks here are fantastic, we had the painkiller and the pina coloda. We started off with an app called Jerk shrimp. It was absolutely delicious. Shrimp in a spicy broth with plenty of bread to dip in the broth. My wife had the coconut shrimp and I had the apple bacon burger with Swiss and pineapple chutney. Both meals were delicious and cooked perfectly. For desert we had key lime pie and pineapple chocolate upside down cake. Both were delicious and a generous portion. We will go back again. Something to note. There is a lunch menu and a dinner menu. There are a few more items on the dinner menu that are not available on the lunch menu. Enjoy!

(For the purpose of this story, please note that we are not idiots when it comes to bad service, but had been in the car all day, had eaten nothing, and were so looking forward to this.)If I could give zero stars I would. And for the record, this is my 3rd BB location, having been to, and LOVED the Las Vegas and Orlando (Near WDW) locations. And then there was this one: We arrived tonight, a Sunday night, at 7:30pm. Upon checking in, we were told by the snotty hostess that it would be a 30 minute wait. However, we can see at least 5 open tables, and not that many people waiting. Warning #1. After hanging out for a few, the husband spots two seats open at the bar and snags them. I return the pager and tell the hostess we'll be eating at the bar. Her: "Whatever." Warning #2. We sit at the bar, which incidentally was soaking wet, and immediatly one of the bartenders hands us drink menus and asks if we'll be eating. We say yes. Within a few minutes, we have drinks in hand. Yay, something positive! While we're mulling over choices, we notice that our favorite app, the coconut onion rings isn't on the menu. We ask, and another bartender replies: "Yeah, we don't have the full menu here." Wait, WHAT???? This is not mentioned anywhere on the website, and would have been helpful seeing we drove a very far distance to come here. Warning #3. We finally decide on what to order, but it takes forever to get anyone's attention as they're too busy slinging full beers through the air (Nope, not kidding) and mostly missing. Beer and shattered glass all over the floor. We order our meals, and an app and sit back to wait. After what felt like a really long about of time, the bartender looks over, says "Hey, no apps yet? Hmm, should I check on that?" We say yes, then watch her go into an A.D.D. moment, and forget. However, about this time, she finally puts our tab in the glass in front of us, which suggests she forgot to put the food order in entirely. Warning #4. Finally, someone brings out our app, which was supposed to be chicken sliders. They were pork. We send them back. Bartender: "Ooops, I thought you said pork. Oh well." Warning #5 Our main courses come of 2 seconds later, at which point, I asked her please to remove the app. We would just eat our food and go. I cut into my burger, which I requested medium-well and it's RED in the center and still running red. I couldn't help it, but let a few colorful words fly. Another bartender immediately steps in, and takes my food away, and offers to send the manager over. I tell my husband to keep eating his meal, and low and behold, his shrimp is cold. The manager was very nice and comped everything, and offered us coupons to return but COME ON. Mistake after mistake, a bartender with the worst case of A.D.D. who is more interested in throwing beer and glass instead of keeping an eye on things, not even a full menu?? Sorry, BB, but I'll never return to this location. In fact, corporate needs to know how this single location is killing the reputation of the rest of the chain.

This place really varies and isn't the most consistent. The drinks here are really good and it's definitely a place to come for drinks and half off apps. The coconut shrimp are to die for and the fire cracker shrimp is also a favorite of mine. Sometimes when I come here it's packed other times it's super slow so I guess it demends on the day. It's a really fun atmosphere though, it's like an older version of a rainforest cafe. Definitely try it out for yourself!

Nothing. Zero. Zip Zilch. This place has been very busy since it opened but around 1pm on a Tuesday the lot was not full. The hostess told us that the patio was first come, first served, so we sat on the patio. That's all we did on the patio - sit. No less that 4 different servers walked by at least twice each. They waited on others around us, but none of them stopped at our table. After an uncomfortable amount of time (those of you who go out enough understand), we decided to leave. I had gotten past the point of having to ask someone to serve us. I let the hostess know and she seemed amazed. Another server offered to serve us immediately. I thanked them both and told them to let the manager know and maybe someday we'd be back. I don't like to get up and leave but when the restaurant is half full and there are plenty of servers walking around and you don't get acknowledged, there is a problem. Might have been a one-off, but I have no way of knowing.

Hmm, Bahama Breeze? Back when we lived in Joisey, we used to go to the store in Cherry Hill and liked it so we were excited that a new location opened just down the road. They have done a decent job of converting the old On The Border into the corporate Bahama Breeze look and things generally work OK. The menu is good with lots of choice. We shared the Tostones as an appetizer and I had chicken curry and Caren had salmon as the main course. Only problem (and one of my pet peeves) is that the bloody wait staff bring the appetizer and entree at the same time - how annoying is that? I was going to tell the guy to take the entree away and bring it back later, but Caren pointed out that he'd probably spit in it (or worse!) before bringing it back again. Shame about this because it spoiled an otherwise nice meal Caren enjoyed her fruity martini and the draft Sierra Nevada beer was good. Our waitress was really good (she wasn't the one who brought the food all together). Funny, we usually make a point of not ordering our entree until the appetizer has arrived - we won't make that mistake again!

we went back for a 4th time this past Veteran's day. It had been a while and they had redone the menu. The service we received and the food quality was excellent. I would not do anything different than what they did for us on Monday. We ordered takeout as well. The order was packaged nicely and ready quickly. A +

It's 'ok' overall here, but the service is lacking in a big way. I've been here twice, and it seems that the hostesses and some servers are inconvenienced by you when you walk in during the slower hours. Getting the food to your table can be very slow, even during the off-peak hours, so be prepared to wait...if you need to get out in a certain time to see a movie or something, you may want to eat somewhere else that night. The food can be very good, although the menu seems a little limited.

Such a refreshing menu for this area. Yucca, cuban rice and beans, Caribbean inspired dishes and a significant seafood menu, including conch. Lots of fun girly drinks including "skinny margaritas" and an entire skinny drink portion of the menu. My biggest complaint, and I am attributing this to the waitress being new, is that the service was horrible. She forgot to put in the appetizer, gave us the wrong drinks, asked if I wanted to get my dish wrapped up as I was taking a bite of my sandwich... overcharged us on the bill, I could go on. Decor is kind of like Key West meets Ruby Tuesdays. Also- they have a mouthwash dispenser in the bathroom- I guess they serve a lot of garlic?! This place must be getting a lot of buzz after opening because wait times are generally 90 minutes +, and parking extends out to the main road.

Drinks are good. Had paella here before and it was great....I was looking forward to it again. This time it was dry, overcooked which is really hard to do with paella. It was more like a rice bowl dumped onto a plate. I told the waitress to let her know so she could inform the kitchen, and her reply was "another guy liked it"...I left the paella and finished the appetizer instead.

I came here last night with my dad for the first time - not really knowing what to expect. I'd heard that it had been crazy busy since it opened, but that was about it. We were seated right away. While busy, I think it wasn't their busiest night. The waiter seemed pretty informed about the menu. We both ordered sodas and got one of the lemonades made with cane sugar to share. There were a lot of menu options for food - we ordered the spinach dip to start (pretty average, but served hot with plenty of chips). I got the Wood Grilled Chicken Breast for my entree. It was really good and had great flavor, but the "lighter portion" option would have been enough - the normal size came with 2 full chicken breasts, a heaping mound of potatoes, and broccoli. We didn't order dessert - we were too full! I thought the food was pretty good, and the prices were decent for the quality of what we got. I highly recommend the lemonade - it was delicious!!

Last night redeemed this place for me. I'm glad we gave it another shot, because after the first time, It would have gotten 1 start and I would never have gone back because the service was HORRIBLE and the entrees we chose had NO flavor to them whatsoever. The biggest thing that bothered me was when we arrived and the hostess quoted us 25 minutes when there were only 4 people waiting and like 4-5 tables open that I could see. WTF? We sat at the bar. The bf has been to the Bahamas about 20 times (no joke, like 15-20 times or something crazy) so he's a lot more critical of the food and especially the flavors than I am. Despite that, he really liked the Goat cheese and flatbread app and his Calypso Shrimp Linguine (except the incredibly stale garlic bread that came with it) even though his rum punch was WAAAAAAAAY too sweet. I liked everything. The goast cheese app came with sooooo much goat cheese, I saved some and put it in my grilled chicken sandwich for dinner (which was awesome on its own with it's pesto sauce, arugula, avocado, and naan bread). Also, they had Belvedere Red Grapefruit which nobody ever has (I'd like to suggest to their management that they stock it because I think the bartender mentioned it was a promo bottle). Not bad for a last minute dinner decision on a Wednesday night. I only wish there has been an open table on the patio cuz they had a woman playing the steel drums singing Caribbean music and the weather was perfect to sit outside.

Well, I am going to try this AGAIN. My husband and I visited this restaurant on Saturday evening. We are NOT affiliated with anyone from the company. It appears, however, that some people on yelp can't stand it if they are not FIRST in Review. We were very excited that Bahama Breeze was coming to Nashua/Tyngsborough area. We had eaten at the Orlando FL location a few yrs ago and really enjoyed it. It's owned by the Darden Chain (Olive garden, Red Lobster, Longhorn) but it doesn't feel like a chain. The meals were freshly prepared and hot when served to us. The grilled jerk chicken was very flavorful, juicy and moist. The spiced sweet potatoes were a great compliment. The sirloin steak was cooked to order and perfect. The pomegranate sangria was really good also. The staff was friendly and attentive. We look forward to going back and enjoying the outdoor deck seating when the weather warms up. There is nothing else like this in this area.

So far my co-workers and I have come to Bahama Breeze three times since it's fairly recent opening. The food is surprisingly good for a chain owned by Darden Restaurants (i.e. owner of Olive Garden, Red Lobster, and LongHorn). Obviously, it is tropical themed and features a lot of seafood with a carribean twist. I have enjoyed their fish tacos with seafood chowder, and a co-worker loved the Tilapia with creamy mango butter sauce. We have yet to try their alcoholic drinks, which is a shame because there are so many to choose from!

After being taunted for years by the "Bahama Breeze" logo on the back of Olive Garden gift cards, my husband and I got pretty darned excited when we found out that the restaurant filling in the old "On the Border" space near the Pheasant Lane Mall is indeed a Bahama Breeze restaurant. We went there on Tuesday, 3/13/12 which is the day after they opened. The parking lot was jammed which reminded me of Friday nights when On the Border was open... this space does not have enough parking spaces, which if you're starving can be kind of a drawback (which is what holds this back from a "5" rating). The good news though is that unlike its Olive Garden counterpart across the street - they take call ahead seating! The decor is definitely chain - but in a way that tries to keep in touch with that island feel. It's very "chill". The dining area is well lit over the tables but the overall lighting of the environment is dimmer than I was expecting. Before I get into the food - let me tell you about the service. The service here was spectacular. Our waiter was Chad and he was one of the better waitstaff we've ever had at a Darden chain (I mean... we actually remembered his name...). He was super friendly, great at recommending food, checked in on us constantly - but was not at all overbearing about it. Not only was Chad a fantastic server, the runners/bus-people were prompt and continually checking for/taking trash off of our table. I was thrilled with the service; I sincerely hope that this does not go down as the restaurant is open longer. For the food... since it was our first time there, we did order drinks, appetizer, dinner, and dessert (we usually just get water, apps, and dinner). My husband ordered a standard mojito and loved it, I ordered a virgin pina colada (7 months pregnant) and it was one of the better ones I've had. For our appetizer, we ordered the coconut shrimp which comes with a citrus-mustard dipper. The shrimp were cooked perfectly (which is good, no one likes rubbery shrimp) and had a fantastic coconut crust. The dipper though was fantastic - I'm not typically a mustard person and I couldn't stop eating this dipper. The citrus tang combined with the mustard tang was an incredible balance. Quite good. Entrees: I got the shredded beef & rice ("ropa vieja") and my husband got the jerk chicken pasta (since it's supposed to be a "signature dish"). The shredded beef and rice was quite good. The marinade used for the beef was spiced well and left the meat incredibly moist. It was balanced well with peppers & onions mixed throughout, and the yellow spanish rice was pretty standard - not dry, which is good enough to meet my qualifications. Around that was a black bean and roasted corn salsa that while it probably came out of a can (remember, this is a chain) it tasted relatively fresh. It wasn't soggy at all, the tomatoes tasted freshly chopped, and the cilantro wasn't overpowering. I really enjoyed it (and saved some for leftover lunch!). For the jerk chicken pasta... I took a bite of my husband's and while I thought it was pretty good, I was honestly kind of underwhelmed. It fit the theme of the restaurant, but it tasted like standard Darden restaurant chain pasta overall. My husband said it was pretty good, but that next time he'd likely get the grilled jerk chicken dish instead because that would better satisfy the "jerk" craving he tends to get on occasion. However - I will say that if you're out with a picky eater who doesn't like spicy food and wishes they were across the street at Olive Garden - tell them to get this dish. Problem solved. Dessert: We couldn't agree on something to split, so we each got our own thing and were thrilled individually with our selections. My husband ordered the key lime pie which is made fresh in-house daily with "real key limes". The portion was quite generous and it has a meringue on top of it... almost like a key-lime meringue pie. I took a bite of it just to see how it was - if you're a key-lime pie lover, you should probably get this pie if you go to BB. It was pretty good, and I'm NOT a key-lime pie lover. He really enjoyed it... he polished it off, and usually neither of us finishes desserts if we get them. I got the banana supreme (I think it's called that?). Basically - it's slices of banana bread with a banana sliced up, vanilla ice cream, and a butterscotch-brandy sauce. It sounded basic... but it was the sauce that made it. The banana bread wasn't super moist, so it soaked up the sauce (which I freaking loved) and with a bite of vanilla ice cream it made a delicious dessert. It really hit the spot for me in terms of a comfort-food dessert. We left there definitely feeling like we would go back there again once it's been open for a little while and their demand evens out. We were very pleased with the food & service - which at the end of the day is the most important thing about the experience.

This is a tale of two meals. One, at a place where the kitchen screwed up, and everyone bent over backwards to make up for it; the other, at a place where the kitchen screwed up, and the only thing they cared about what making sure that I wouldn't yelp about it. As it turns out, Bahama Breeze was the one that screwed up, but in the end, we had an awesome time, and can't wait to go back. At the end of the review, I'll tell you who "the other" restaurant that really doesn't care is. Being Cuban and living in New England, finding good Carribean food has always been difficult at best. Throw in a food picky Cuban mom on her 70th birthday, and finding somewhere to eat can be even more difficult! So, on mom's 70th birthday, we thought we would treat her to Bahama Breeze - got there at 5, and promptly got seated. The atmosphere is awesome, the staff are all professionals, and the menu is just down-right fantastic! Since it was mom's birthday (and my husband and I have already written a review), I will focus on mom's experience. Mom insisted on the yucca fries, and the conch fritters, both of which were simply awesome. She followed it up with the special of the day - a coconut shrimp and grits meal (both her favorite) - which we hadn't seen on the menu before. The service was great (and quick), but we noticed that she only picked at her food, and when the waitress asked if she wanted it to go, she was quick to say no. When the waitress asked her if it was okay, she admitted that she thought the grits were cold, and that the shrimp weren't that great, which totally surprised the waitress, who was very genuinely apologetic, oferred various things to make up for it (though mom just wasn't interested in anything else), and had the manager there within minutes to personally apologize (and to make sure we knew that it would come off the bill). By the time they brought out the key lime birthday cake for her, we had completely forgotten about the screw up, and we left planning another visit soon with mom (of course, I tipped on the entire meal, as one should, since it wasn't the server's fault). Just one more reason why we LOVE Bahama Breeze, and highly recommend it to everyone who is looking for somewhere to eat!!! :) On the other hand, for really crappy service and mediocre food, make sure to check out Cobblestones in Lowell (or read my review about the lousy meal I recently had there).

The entire dinner was a disaster. Not like, "end of the world" type stuff yet will never return for dinner again. Went here for a birthday party for my niece. It was a party of 16. Called ahead and got a 5PM reservation. Checked in with the hostess at 5PM to tell her we arrived. The hostess never even looked at me to acknowledge my statement. Simply stared at some menues or something. Thought maybe she didn't hear or was deaf, so I repeated it. She paused, continued to steer at the menues and whispered "yes". More confusion persisted and I simply went outside to wait. She never even asked what party I was with, number of people ect. She simply steered at the menues to ensure no menues would be stolen under her watch. Someone else checked in and said the table would be ready around 6PM. that sucked. While waiting outside for my table I was forced to watch Billiards on ESPN 6 instead of the Red Sox in extra innings or at least the NBA playoffs. Asked to change and it actually happened 45 minutes later and after asking twice. Now dinner-we order our drinks while the two dork waiters discuss logistics in "nerdy waiter lingo". Bring our drinks and spill 4 full sodas all over my nephew. The food was horrible as well. Got plantains for an appetizer and they were dry and tasteless. Got the curry chicken and rice meal and it too was plain and tasteless. Bills came and they messes up all the seperate checks. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone I like. May be a coll place to hang out-side and drink a beer two. I just hope you enjoy watching billiardsor cricket.

I have been to Bahama Breeze countless of times. The curry bowl, jerk chicken... Caribbean goodness. The food is not gourmet - obviously - but still very flavorful and satisfying. The lady playing steel drums last Monday night was a nice touch too. My only complaint is that if you come on any weekend night, you'll be waiting anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half for a booth.

Went out to dinner this past week with my wife and daughter and loved everything about Bahama Breeze. Our server Eric was phenomenal, his suggestions on drinks and entrees were spot on. The food was delivered quickly and we couldn't have asked for a better meal. My wife got the avocado and goat-cheese burger and she's still talking about it days later.

We went for lunch. The cocktails were yummy, especially the lemon ginger mojito. We got the chips and salsa and beef empanadas for appetizers. The empanadas were awesome. The salsa was made with fresh tomatoes, which were somewhat lacking in flavor during winter in New England. I wanted a Cuban sandwich for lunch, but they were out of the bread. I got a Cobb salad instead, which was good. My husband got the Jamaican jerk chicken, which was delicious. The bartender was a little brusque, and I was bummed to miss out on the Cuban sandwich, so I'm giving them three stars instead of four.

My husband and I went here on a Saturday around 5 pm. Looked busy, but got seated withing 15 minutes, which was nice... Waitress was not very personable. I asked her about a few items on the menu, all chicken and beef because I don't eat fish. She gave me a look of disgust and said I think they all look bad because I only eat fish.... WHAT? Maybe at least say something good about them or get another server who can help a customer decide...!!! so I decided on the chicken quesadilla for my meal... BUT, asked for chicken and cheese ONLY! It came to the table with ALL the veggies inside. I again asked for Chicken and cheese only... Came back again this time with Chicken, cheese and cilantro! I hate Cilantro... Needless to say I left hungry and so did my husband. He got coconut shrimp which was dry and tasteless. He also got fish taco's. The cook couldn't even take the time to spread the ingredients just blobbed the sauce on one side so my hubby had to take the taco apart, just to spread out the ingredients and eat it. Then the fish was really dry and the tortilla was stale and flaky... After we told our waitress I had a problem, she dropped my quesadilla off at the table without saying anything... She barely walked up to the table and placed it at the end of the table... Then the manager came over and comped the meals... OK, but I'm still hungry! Then the waitress was extremely rude to us... what the heck! we know you didn't cook it and never were rude to you!!! Horrible customer service!!!! Needless to say we left hungry and will NEVER GO BACK!!!

Terrible watery drinks. I had a mojito and my boyfriend had zombie. Food took forever then plate was hot but food on it cold. Waitress was embarrassed...that was our second try here....never again.

Had to check out what all the hype was about. I was totally unimpressed with all of the food. Coconut shrimp, yellow rice, spinach dip, veggie sub - none of it was very good! I definitely wouldn't go back.

Mediocre at its worst. We wanted to sit outside. The outside seating is "first come, first serve" which leads to people hovering around waiting for tables. When we finally got one, it was by two parties of 8 full of drunk, rowdy college students. They did let us move to another table that was quieter when it opened up but that did nothing to improve the lack-luster service and mediocre food. We won't be back.

Good food at a good price. Bill is relatively inexpensive for Mexican. I tried the braised beef with yellow rice and it was excellent. I got the adult entree for 11.99. I had 1/2 the next day. Cheap! Service was prompt. Our waiter was personable and polite. We went about 9:30, we closed it at about 11:30. Excellent diet coke, must be because it's new. Try it out!

We were up in Nashua doing some tax-free shopping and decided to stop into the Bahama Breeze for a late lunch. It was a gorgeous day so we staked out a seat outdoors - these seats are first come, first serve and luckily we managed to grab one of the few that were open. Only downside to the outdoor seating? They recently re-paved their parking lot and on the hot day it smelled very strongly. We started out by ordering some beverages - the hubby ordered a Caprihina and I ordered a Painkiller. A couple of years ago I went to the British Virgin Islands and drank my body weight in Painkillers. They are the local drink there, and I haven't had one since. Drinking one today gave me instant nostalgia for that trip and also a buzz. We ordered the Yuca fries to start, which were deep fried like french fries and served with ketchup. I've had better elsewhere, but they were still really tasty and the perfect portion for two people to split. For meals, the hubby got the coconut shrimp meal, which came with four or five shrimp and a side salad. He really loved his shrimp. I got the portobello and veggie sandwich and opted for the tomato salad instead of fries since we had the Yuca fries to start. I almost regretted that when I saw the fries at a nearby table, but I ended up completely enamored with the tomato salad. Fresh, perfectly ripe tomatoes sitting in a pool of balsamic vinegar and topped with shredded basil. So simple and so damn good. I probably could have eaten an entire bowl's worth. The sandwich was also pretty tasty too although in retrospect I do wish I had gotten something rice and bean oriented instead given the cuisine. Our meals were the perfect portion - we left there satisfied without feeling like we could be rolled back to our car. It took a few extra minutes more than it should to be waited on and to receive our meals. The waitress overall was really pleasant and competent. She was extremely apologetic about the wait for our meals; she said there was an issue with their computer system. Honestly, I barely noticed that the food was taking a while; it was 80 degrees, sunny, and I had a tasty rum beverage in my hand. All in all, I was really pleased with this place, especially considering it's a chain restaurant. We will definitely plan to return.

We TRIED to call Sunday morning to let them know that we had a party of 8 for a birthday celebration for that night. They said to call back 1 hour before we wanted table (5:30pm). We TRIED to call 1 hour before....they said there was no wait and to call again 15 minutes ahead...we called 15 minutes ahead, and they told us SORRY, the big tables were taken and we'd have to wait at least an hour. We went to La Carreta....

We just had our work Christmas Party at Bahama Breeze and had a great time. The manager was very accommodating when requested to have the tables moved for our large party. The food was great and the waitresses went above and beyond to keep everyone happy. Thumbs up Bahama Breeze!

I decided to try this place out since Ive heard lots of people talk about it, .....and because they sent me a $10 off coupon. Atmosphere: The decor is really cute and the place is a good size. Didnt have to wait, I found a seat at the bar quick during "dinner rush". They had lots of tv's on so you could watch whatever game or sport was on which was nice. All the tv's were set to different channel's to accommodate everyone's taste. Service: There were two bartenders on, one male, one female. The female was extremely obnoxious and loud. The male was very nice, greeted me and offered me a menu. He asked if I had ever been before and upon answering "no" delightfully told me about bahama breeze, the menu and the drinks. He is probably the only reason I didnt give this place one star. I ordered a drink, which was okay and pretty high priced for what I was drinking. He checked up on me to see if I had questions on the menu and took my order promptly as the other female bartender was complaining about a bad tip she got....gee i wonder why. Food: I got the conch fritter things and a steak (i know, steak at bahama breeze, but i was just in the mood for it) The conch fritters came with a dipping sauce and about 4 of them. LOTS of breading and filling, not much conch. The steak was rather expensive and was a cheaper cut of meat, definitely not filet as what the menu said. Everything was to temperature, hot food hot and cold food cold but there was nothing special about it. Overall I may go back for happy hour, or their small plates, but I wouldnt recommend any of their special drinks, oh and dont order a frozen drink...the female bartender will roll her eyes at you.

Don't quite know what to say. Made it to order drinks- that was it. Told first off that the fryalator was down, followed by no fresh fish. Said ok- I'll deal. Appetizer we wanted- didn't have that either. Than they couldn't guarentee the food we wanted would be avail. Needless to say-we left. Still paying for our drinks and no visit from the manager to apologize. Were told that it would be better next time...sorry they'll be no next time. Really poorly run.

Go there very often on Fridays for lunch with my colleagues. The quality of food is good. The service has been good every time I have gone there so far. Key west fish tacos and grilled salmon toastada salad are my favorites. I do not understand why they do not manage outside seating as they do indoors seating.

Finally, Bahama Breeze makes it to N.E.. We always stop at BB when in FL. The atmosphere, service and food were all very good. Very consistent with other locations. Our only disappointment was when we ordered the tostones without chicken (we've ordered it this way evert time in FL). This location said that they could not do it as the toppings were prepared in advance with the chicken. Really? So you are telling me that the tostones are not prepared separately and you cannot shred cheese, add onions, peppers and salsa individually? Come on now. Someone use your head.

Honestly, I was apprehensive about eating here as I've never been overly impressed with chain restaurants, especially the ones found in the Nashua/Tyngsboro area. They're all so generic, corporate, & the food is never inspired. I figured this was what Bahama Breeze was going to be like when the dude suggested we go. First impression: the parking lot, which is pretty large, was almost fully packed on a Monday night at 8:30-9. Alright, so it's a popular spot - that's good, right? There's also some outdoor seating (with a great view of the DW Highway, but what can you do) which will certainly be nice once summer comes. Unfortunately, the interior looks like a Hollister store (at least it doesn't ~smell~ like one.) We were immediately seated in the bar area & someone came by to take our drink orders. I sipped a red sangria (served in a stemmed wine glass... with a straw?) while my partner sampled the house beer (Aruba Red, which our waitress said is brewed specially for them by Anheuser-Busch.) There is an extensive cocktail menu with an emphasis on the fruity/tropical, & a pretty nice bar area! The televisions are recessed so they look like they're a part of the wall & are not distracting at all. Our server was friendly, & offered suggestions when we were struggling to find a small plate to start with. (I would like to mention that I was also impressed by another server, who instead of merely pointing me in the direction of the restrooms, actually escorted me to them, which is the correct thing to do! Whether he knew to do it on his own or they've trained their staff to aim for a higher level of etiquette, I don't know, but it was noted & appreciated. It was also somewhat ruined by some female server chasing after him to whine about the latest drama... really, really unprofessional.) We opted for the coconut shrimp, & got the dipping sauce for the firecracker shrimp as well (too bad it's not at all spicy.) I ordered the jamaican jerk chicken & the dude got the fish tacos that I heard all about his cravings for on the car ride there. My plate was a 7/10 - the chicken could have been a little more flavorful & blackened, but it was good otherwise; the dude was stoked on his tacos. We didn't stay for dessert, nor did they have an espresso maker, so we just opted for drip coffee. I think that, in comparison to the other chain restaurant offerings in the area, this is the place to check out.

My friends and I tried this place on a Tuesday night, using the call ahead seating option, and even with that, we still waited a while to get seated. No big deal. Once seated, we apparently had two waiters and it was almost like by having two, we had less than one? I'm not sure what was going on, but from the time we were seated, it took 2+ hours to get our food. The restaurant was full of empty tables and it didn't seem particularly busy. Our first round of drinks came in a reasonable amount of time, but anyone who ordered a second waited for 45+ minutes (and I canceled mine, and one cocktail inexplicably came out alone, and quickly) and even then, they only came out after we flagged down our waiters more than once to remind them. There were no apologies for the wait at all and we were even told once that they were "working on" getting our drinks and then 10 more minutes would go by. Some of these drinks were beer and wine, so I'm not really sure how it could have taken so long to at least get those out. Missed sales opportunity: we definitely would have ordered a lot more if things had come out more quickly, but any time we considered ordering something additional, we realized it would be a long wait, so why bother? An appetizer never came, either. No apologies. One person in my party sent back her meal because of a soggy bun and the burger being rare instead of medium well, and asked for an estimate of how long it would take (because everything had taken so long, she didn't want to be eating long after everyone else was ready to clear out) and they said it would take a long time, so she canceled her order and decided to just eat at home. No apologies at all from the waiter. The waitstaff seemed harried (and would explain to us things that were making them busy, like one quote was, "Well, I had a 14 top of twenty year olds" and there were some explanations about how they were trying to split up the labor, one of them did a lot of work on their other big table that was already gone so they were trying to do more of the work on our table so it would be fair) which was irritating. Just apologize if there's an unreasonable holdup and try to rectify the situation. Drinks gone missing? Say you're sorry for the wait and find them. And if you have to explain the division of labor to your customers, honestly, it's not working and the management should figure out a new way to handle table assignments. I don't think any of us will be back. It was just too frustrating waiting for so long and having no apology whatsoever for any of the mixups. If you're going to go, give them a few months to train up.

Their drinks are freaking AMAZING. I would only go there for drinks though. I order the rice w/ seafoods (not sure what it's call) it cost about $20. It wasn't good at all and it seem little/cheap too BUT the waitress were AWESOME. I went there for the 2nd time and she remembered me. She was just really friendly. I tried like 4 different drinks from there and they were all amazing. I'm not sure what they were call though. I usually want to try new drinks and this is the first time that I ever been to a restaurant that make my drink "perfect" all the time. I would definitely go there again. Only for drinks though. :x

The food is great, but the service is miserable. The fish tacos are very tasty and the option of the side fruit salad instead of fries is really refreshing. However, I have to agree with Kateri M.'s post below which stated that the servers seem inexperienced and they are dashing around the restaurant like crazy. I have been twice and the first time I went I called ahead, but they did not find my name in the computer. Once I was seated we waited 15 minutes at the table and no server came to assist us. We had to get the hostess to find someone. Our server was very apologetic and stated that he had to work a double because someone called out and it had been hectic. The second time I went with my family, which was a party of 6. I had to ask the waitress multiple times to clear the table of the empty glasses and plates and she seemed annoyed each time I did! I am sorry if it is busy, but it's your job to keep on top of those kinds of things! I also overheard her making rude remarks about her tables of customers to another waitress. I spoke with a manager and he was very apologetic about the behavior. I will try the restaurant again, and the variety on the menu is much better than any other chain restaurant in the surrounding area. However, be warned that the staff is not impressive and training must be improved.

Ok, but not great. We sat on the deck, which was really loud. The steel drum is nice for atmosphere, but overpowered our conversation. The spinach dip was nice, and the chicken quesadillas were good, but nothing special. I also ordered a dark and stormy, which was properly mixed. Our first waiter was woefully inattentive, but the server who replaced him halfway through the shift was much better. Overall it was a mediocre experience that left me with no burning desire to return.

All I can say is eh. This place is overwhelmingly uninspired. The island decor permeates the dimly lit dining room, and the place is huge, so seating isn't an issue. But the staff seemed like it was their first day, despite the fact that this place always seems to be busy. The menu seems pretty sparse considering how jazzed up the place is, and honestly, for what you get, the prices are a little high. For an island themed place, there's not really a cohesive theme on the menu, there's a mishmash of grilled, pseudo-indian, and sorta-carribean inspired food that's kinda bland when it gets to the table. I could probably go to Chili's if I wanted similar food, and pay less for more. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here again. While it wasn't horrible, it had no wow factor to pull me back in, and other places can and have done what this place does, only better.

The waitress forgot to bring us plates and napkin rolls. Then she messed up our order - twice. She did not know about most of the items on the menu and had to go back to find out what something was and how it was prepared! The wait between the appetizers and the main course was interminable - and we could not locate the waitress. The drinks were flat. The food was too salty. The restaurant put barbecue sauce in EVERYTHING, including food that is touted as authentically Caribbean! We ordered Tostones with Chicken and found exactly 2 pieces of tiny chicken bits! We ordered the big plate of Jamaican Grilled Chicken Wings - she brought us the small one. BTW The tangy dipping sauce that it is served with is barbecue sauce. The salmon was not Rich and Flavorful as the menu claims. For that matter the tilapia was not Delicate and Flaky - both the salmon and tilapia are best avoided! Actually, imo this place is best avoided. We lost money and time - you should not have to.

Coconut shrimp. Key lime pie. Those are the things we liked about BB when we lived in Florida, and they're as good as they ever were. And the rest of the food is as boring and same-old, same-old as it ever was. BB knows how to take the same rice, same beans and throw different meats or flavors on it. The goat-cheese avocado hamburger is good although it took them two tries to cook it medium-rare. And the goat cheese must have been waved over it. A few crumbles accidentally fell onto the burger before they served it. The lettuce wasn't the usual iceberg, but was a quality green-leaf lettuce. Did appreciate that. The meat was strangely not seasoned, lacking any hint of salt or flavor. Heaven forbid they grind a little flavorful fat into it in this politically-inept age where fat is bad. As usual, BB has great decor, and in this case, it is like a time-machine, making us feel as if we were back in Florida. In general, BB is a drinking place first, maybe food second. If you're looking for real food, not a ton of vegetable oil, and real cooking, there are better places to spend $40, $50, $60 bucks. Skip the plantain appetizers....they're just plain weird and tough and strange. I appreciate the fact they offer a number of sides for sandwiches/burgers, other than the usual fries, but the tomato & balsamic salad I choose featured mealy, tasteless tomatoes. My daughter had the lobster pasta. Good flavor, and I think she found three pieces of actual lobster meat that were about 1/2-inch in diameter. What a steal - of my money - considering that dish was $19. Could have bought a couple lobsters from Market Basket, had 'em steamed and gone home to a better meal. Great decor. Wait-staff tried hard. Wish they had more interesting offerings. The key lime pie is made fresh every day, though, so that really is worth it, even if that's all you get.........

Definition of "average." Typical spotty service at dinner tonight. Receptionist was indifferent, and we waited 40 minutes despite minimal people and many open tables. Waitress was good and reasonably attentive. Food choice and quality is mediocre. My beef and rice dish was soggy and served lukewarm. There are much better options for a predictable, family meal.

so the outdoor seating doesn't take reservations and you have to "stalk" a table and basically jump on it when the party leaves. we went on april 19th a super hot day!!! our waitress was a spaz, but she was trying. the wrong cocktail was brought to our table, when we ordered a beer. we got a great apptz, the kids loved it...yucca fries. the youngest loved the mahi mahi (he's 8) ate the whole darn thing...you can order it three different ways, he had the simply grilled. the teen got the quesadilla's and was happy with them. i got the fish taco, they were ok, i probably would try something different next time. desert we had banana bread with ice cream and sauce, was yum!!! the little on had some chocolate cake/mousse thing, which he also devoured. all in all, we will go back, liked the atmosphere outside. food wasn't "chain" like at all.

Road Trip... All us got in the 'ol war wagon on Saturday for a day of tax free fun up in New Hampshire...On the way back one of our intrepid travelers suggested we stop off for some food before we hit the highway. Original plan was to hit Smokey Bones near Pheasant Lane Mall but the wait was a bit long. One of our group espied Bahama Breeze down the road and since she had been to one of their properties in Florida, we all decided to give it a shot. It seems this place has only been open about two weeks or so. We expected growing pains, but really didn't experience any. Boy those Nashuans like to eat...let me tell you... The place was packed at around 5:00 on Saturday Afternoon. We only had a short wait so we were off to a good start. The drink menu was huge, but I think more geared to the 20 something crowd than us old folks (LOL), but you know good tequila crosses all age boundaries... We had a couple of plates of app's while we decided what to order. I had the conch fritters, pretty good, but more like conch balls, than fritters and who knew conch had balls, I ask you? We had some sliders, some crab and finally it was time to order. I had the fish taco's strangely enough these were listed under sandwiches... hmmmm, never heard of a taco under the sandwich line... we also had some pasta dishes and another round of sliders... We were all full, but had to split several pieces of Key Lime pie... yummo.... Pluses... Great Service, almost overwhelming attention, but maybe it was because the place was new. The server also explained everything we asked about on the menu...The drinks were good, never ending ice tea as well. Minuses... Very noisy, but I guess if you wanted a cone of silence you should eat someplace else. Seating.... we all had a both on the perimeter of the center of the room so people kept going past our booth on both sides... a bit disconcerting.. But good to watch what others were eating...Parking... we had no problem but when we left, the cars were circling in the lot. Anyway.... All in All, a better choice than Smokey Bones....

Went here today for the first time. No major complaints. Pretty much chain food quality. Not too bad, not great. The place was nice and clean. The service was fairly good. There is outdoor seating, but that was unavailable. The hostess originally offered us A very undesirable table, she did give us another without argument, but I always wonder why restaurants try to put you in the worst table in the house, when there are much better ones. The prices were reasonable. My sangria was ok, a little too, sweet for me. My soup ,was cold, but the server rectified that quickly. I thought the music playing in the background was too loud. All in all, I would go back, but I wouldn't go too far out of my way to try this place again..

Heard a lot about the new opening of Bahama Breeze in Tygnesboro,MA so me and a couple of my friends went their for dinner. The decor is nice but I kinda wished that there was more of that Island feel to it. They have a large drinks menu which was nice...when I got my drink...it was ok but didnt seem like their was that much alcohol in it. The older women we had as a server seemed like she didnt want to be there..she wasent that pleasant. Of cource...every server is different and she prob had a long day but wish she was at least pleasant. I feel like this restaurant could have more potential and its understanding that since it just opened..they need to get everything putt together. Not so much a fan :/

If you like stalking an outside table on the nicer weather and watching the servers play 3 Stooges with your food and drinks then this is the place for you! Outside seating is 1st come 1st served and as your meal winds down be assured someone is watching you closely for your table to vacate. The servers don't know the table numbers and if it is a holiday weekend be prepared for them to not have the popular menu items. They didn't even have limes when we went in Monday! Definitely NOT as good as the ones in Florida. Maybe because they are still "new" and very much playing the concept store game. I didn't enjoy my experience here. I won't be back.

Honestly this is my first time at this place and we loved it. It was recommend through a couple of friends that travel down south and said they loved it. Wait was a little long but if your waiting and the place is packed there must be something good going on. So we sat down and ordered like 4 apps and a dinner. I have to say there "Jerk Chicken Wings" are great. Its not like your usual diner to eat out at. This is one place I would recommend and def come back to eat again.

its ok, did a nice job of tryin to capture the bahama decor. food is average, but one thing i did like was the option to get a side dish of fruit & sorbet. i had fish for lunch, but the fruit & sorbet side item was the highlite of the meal!

Fun nice atmosphere (We ate outside on a beautiful Spring day), and the service was just okay, but I was absolutely not a fan. I got the chicken tortilla soup...loaded with strips of tortillas...considering myself a soup connoisseur it could have been a lot better. Also got the quesadilla ...veggies were in large chunks and almost raw and very light on the cheese and chicken. They did not have jalepeno's so I settled for store brand hot sauce. He got the Jerk Chicken pasta and said it was good and had a different flavor. All in all I would not go back. He mentioned it would be a good place for his after work drinks with coworkers. So I'm happy he'll have people to go with so I won't have to!

This is my new go to place. I'll have to wait until the excitement wears off a bit since I drive by the place almost everyday and the parking lot is full and cars are actually parked along the side of the road. We stumbled the open restaurant (thinking it was still "in progress") after shopping at the mall. Turns out It was just two days after their first opening night. We waited about 20 minutes as promised. We wanted to grab a drink while we waited bit it was too busy to manage that. Once the beautiful porch opens for the season I can see the possibilities! We ordered the Pineapple-Coconut Martinis as we looked over the appetizers. They were delicious. Dining with me in a place like this must be a challenge because I do not eat seafood and my companion would have loved the coconut shrimp to start. We landed on the empanadas. Excellent. I had the Jerk Chicken Pasta and my partner had the Seafood Paella. We were impressed from start to finish - finish was an excellent Mojito Cubana for me and he had a frozen Bahamarita. I think our server was named Jen and she recommended all of the top sellers and was great. We'll be back for sure - maybe when the crowds die down. We grabbed a take out menu so I can call and pick up food on my way home but even parking to pick up take out looks like it will be a challenge. The parking lot is big but so many people are checking out the newest restaurant in the area it is difficult.

We live right near Bahama Breeze and it's our go-to place when we don't feel like cooking. For a chain restaurant the food is quite good...I highly recommend the fish tacos, which are the best I've had in the area. The servers are generally pleasant and mostly competent. The hostesses are indifferent and usually seem more interested in chatting to each other than helping you, but whatever, you just need a table from them. Drinks are good and overall atmosphere is comfortable. If you're looking for a nice, upscale restaurant then this is not the place. But for a tasty meal in a casual environment, this fits the bill.

The first time I walked up to the place, Margaritaville was playing. The weather was hot and sunny and I felt like I walked into a nice an relaxing environment. The drink I had (I'll have to do some research to remember what it was named) was good but it was thicker than I imagined it would be for a tropical drink. The fried chicken sliders were amazing. Decor was ok. It was more like Earnest Hemingway/Florida Keys/Ethan Allen than "Bahama" to me, but no complaints really. The second time I went we sat outside to listen to the woman playing the steel drums. It was a nice touch. It was a tad loud though- even for being outside. The food was delish- but again the drink was too "thick"- and I didn't order a milkshake. I don't know how else to describe this coconut drink. I'll definitely be back- especially when it gets cold and dreary outside and I could use a little islander stuff in my life.

Please keep in mind, Bahama Breeze has only been open a month, so hopefully some of the kinks will be worked out. However, last night on a Tuesday, the four of us had a very bad experience. We arrived at 8 PM and were given a beeper and a 15 minute time to be seated. When we checked 30 minutes later, they said they called us but no response. Not true. They said they would get us the next available table...the restaurant was not even 1/2 full, plenty of tables. We were seated about 5 minutes later. While at the bar, the bartenders were tossing full beer mugs back and forth and mostly missing. Not a pretty sight. Maybe should practice a bit more, just seemed wasteful and they didn't wipe the glasses down so patrons were getting wet glasses. They were friendly, though. A round of drinks arrived at our table very late. Two were wrong and one specialty drink seemed watery. The fourth was wine, so thankfully that wasn't messed up. Three of us wanted the Paella, but were told they were all out. The wing appetizers were good, if pricey. Our dinners were disappointing. The hamburgers cooked incorrectly, missing toppings and the sides were on the wrong plates. The bottom bun on one was so soggy I couldn't eat it. The waitress did offer to bring it back, but I was hungry and service was extremely slow (restaurant was not even 1/2 full). A shrimp linguini entree was swimming in oil, although the shrimp were plentiful and tasty. The shrimp curry dish was plain awful. We constantly had to ask other servers to find our waitress to get condiments and water. Lots of staff running around, but no one seemed to know whats going on. We even had to find some silverware and napkins ourselves after having asked three times - and the hostess had even told us after seating us that she would go get silverware. While the staff was friendly, they were very inexperienced. Maybe after they have been open for another six months I will try again, but for now, save your money.

My wife and I went today (5/19/2012) which was 80 degrees out. We want to go for some pre-costco shopping lubricant (I think I shop better after a drink to numb me from the crowds). We got there at 4pm, just happened to look at my watch as we walked in. We got lucky and got an outdoor seat which is a really nice area. As our waiter slowly approached, I had one of those feelings it was not going to be good. Watching him move was similar to watching paint dry, just not as exciting. We ordered 2 drinks and 15 minutes later they still were not there. As he came over with a dumb look on his face asking us if we wanted food we pointed out we did not have our drinks. So he went back in one door and eventually emerged out another. He then told us it was happy hour and there was $5 appetizers. My wife wanted one so we ordered one. After a few minutes he slowly crept over to our table and said it was not $5 appetizers it our be normal price of $8. I cringed when my wife said that was OK, since our drinks were gone and I would have bailed rather than deal with the service. We order spinach dip and two more drinks. 15 minutes more passed and no App no drink when the waiter came over and asked us if we wanted to order more food. At this point I was aggravated so I said "can you locate our drinks or App which we had been waiting for". Off he was to do his lap around the restaurant. A few minutes later the bartender came out with my wife's drink. I asked about mine.... Was not order. App came out and it was tasty and eventually maybe 25 minutes after I ordered my drink it came out. I immediately asked for check, we ate and left as soon as we good. We tipped the waiter accurately for his service. I think the place has real potential, JUST HAVE to IMPROVE the SERVICE.

Experienced first dinner there with a group of 8. Table was near the bar. Food was good with many choices at fair prices. Only complaint was that THE MUSIC WAS PLAYING TOO LOUD and we had to shout at the people sitting directly next to us and conversing across the table was not possible. We meet as a group to dine out frequently and we all agreed this would not be a future venue for our group dinners DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE ACOUSTICS WERE TERRIBLE AND THE MUSIC WITH ALL THE BASS TYPICAL OF THAT TYPE OF MUSIC PLAYING WAS JUST WAY TOO LOUD! Too bad because the food is decent and it could be a fun place IF WE COULD TALK TO EACH OTHER!!!!! If they turn down the volume then we will return some day.

First visit for lunch. Coconut shrimp and fish tacos were wonderful and the soup and chowder were also quite good - if a bit salty. The large waitstaff were pleasant enough but seemed somewhat confused at times. Not the place for a quiet relaxing meal - a real family restaurant atmosphere (kids, customers and waiters constantly walking by). Even so, I'll definitely go back for the food.

The food here is excellent, i thought. The jerk chicken is so flavorful, chicken tortilla soup-right on, and the Bahama Rita...GET IT. They make their own sugar from real sugar cane. The only down fall is the service. I've been in twice since they opened and while the service is pleasant enough, its not very efficient. First time i came in my drinks came 5 minutes AFTER my entire meal which included salads first of course then entree. Second time it took around 10 min to get drinks, and the bread that i ordered ( not complimentary) never came out, and few other things went wrong also. Neither times did any managers offer to compensate, or even apologize. Maybe i just have bad luck, but the food will keep me coming back.

ok im leaving off one star to be honest, im quite picky and usually at any restaurant i will find " something" well i did and am glad we went in for lunch and we waited less than a minute and then we were asked by our service how we were doing today and if this was our first time here. seated at a booth in the back of the restaurant, which was not crowed at all this time of day.what brought me here was sheer curiousity and wanted to try something different..the two other people i was with found what they wanted.two of us got the painkiiller drinks and they were strong.you can taste the coconut, but it didnt overpower the booze.the others had a salad and a soup with chicken and sweet potatoes.they said it was good.i got a simple grilled chicken sandwhich, hence i didnt find anything else on the menu that i did like, sorry, just being honest. online they show they have onion rings, but when i asked they did not have on the menu.bummer.so my suggestion, would be to change the menu online, a lot of people who do see that might become angry, just sayin.and one other i did notice,i would think this restaurant does not serve rolls or bread.another bummer. we finished off with the chocolate pineapple cake, warm moist and delicious, we all shared this and loved it, especially the sauce, very good.just enough.and some coffee which is strong, and complemented our dessert. ambience is nice, with the "hollister" feel to it, and the island feel to it. i think if i will come back again, it will just be for drinks only i have to mention my server, Meghan, very polite and very customer oriented, you can tell she cares about her job and does it well, so if her manager reads this, youve got a great employee.keep up the good work.

Sat at the bar, ordered a rum and coke, NO LIME, the bartender had already started walking away when I said no lime, but I said it loud. He took a lime and squeezed it into my drink, I sent it back. Ordered an appetizer, there were 2 of us but we only got one menu? Kind of weird, my hubby had to wait while i read the menu. Ordered an appetizer, 20 minutes later, i asked nicely why it was taking 20 minutes, all of a sudden it came. A bartender was pretty rude, yelling OMG what a catastrophe it took 20 minutes. Insult the customer, that's good service. Hey it took 20 minutes, you don't need to yell at me. The place was 3/4 full at this point. I asked for any type of bread with my meal, remember the old days when you got bread and water with your meal at restaurants, server said she would get me something, no bread. I got the friend chicken and mashed potatoes, it was tasty and the coconut chicken was ok.

My first visit to the Bahama Breeze was a positive experience. I found the atmosphere very relaxing inside the Restaurant and if you prefer you can sit outside on the Patio. Being new to the menu my Waitress (Ivonne) came up with suggestions for me and my friend. Everything she suggested was excellent. We ordered a appetizer which were chicken wings (4). Just to let you know the wings are on the large size. Then we started off with a drink. The waitress suggested a Mojito Cubano which is rum with slices of lime and ice. It cost over $6 and the drink was refreshing. My only complaint is that there was too much ice in the glass but that's normal these days. My friend has the Batida de Coco which is some kind of coconut drink. She said it was on the "strong" side. For our main entrees I had the Jamaican Chicken Entree Lite which is one boneless chicken breast instead of two. It was served with Sweet Mash potatoes (yummy) and green beans. My friend had the Chicken Cilantro Lite, another great choice. Now for dessert I had the Chocolate Island. OMG it was really sinful. The Chocolate Island is like a Chocolate Mousse served on a plate with a whip cream, chocolate chips and almonds surrounding the Chocolate Island. It will take me two days at the gym to work it off. My friend had the Chocolate Pineapple upside down cake. Again, it was delicious. I was impressed with the menu and will definelty eat there again. One more thing. The Portion sizes are not big but the Portion sizes are what they should be. Our meals were presented on the Plate in a decorative way, that is Presentation of the meal looked appealing. The total cost of the meal which included Appetizer, Drinks(2), Main entrees, and Dessert was $56.75 for two people. It would of been much less if you skip the drink and dessert but it was our first visit and wanted to splurge.
