We have eaten here before and had a WONDERFUL experience, but last night was just not as good. First of all, the place was packed but only one harried server trying to help everybody. I ordered manicotti but did not enjoy it. Just a different taste that I did not like. (My parents shared my leftovers and they DID like it, but said it did taste different.) Waitress forgot to bring us bread until i was done with my meal and we asked about it. It was just not a special experience like we had before. We will try it again, and I will avoid the pasta!!

OK, after having tried the standard fare and pizza, I've decided their pizza is a 10 and restaurant fare is about a 7. Good, home cooked meals at very reasonable prices. They were recently voted #1 in Sturbridge for the pizza. Tip: if you like sweet pizza sauce- this is not for you. Their red sauce has lots of buttery-garlic flavor. Perfect for my family.

On a whim, we stopped at Lola 's for dinner. I ordered a cup of onion soup, as well as a shrimp dinner Wow! The "cup" was a fabulous big bowl of thick, rich, chock-full of onion cheese on top soup DELICIOUS. The grilled shrimp dinner was also superb. Very reasonable as well.

Excellent homemade meals. Little hole in the wall family restaurant with a big menu. Friendly staff. Order the specials, they are great. Complimentary dessert.

Amazing! Best Manicotti I have ever eaten and the fries were good also. Everyone Loved their meal and could not finish their plates! The owner was very attentive and very nice! I will be going back!

Although we were very tempted by some of the blackboard specials, we had stopped in for another delicious pizza after shopping at the Pedlar. This time we had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with the proprietor Lola, a very nice and personable woman who made us feel right at home. We'll be back to sample more of her food when (IF) the nice weather comes and we're out and about in Sturbridge again.

A diamond in the rough! Off the beaten path but so worth the stop. I have a gluten allergy and the chef made me a baked haddock meal with extra veggies! It was delicious! My son had a Hamburg pizza that he devoured and hubby had the homemade spinach rice soup. Like a classic Greek Lemon Soup but better! We are traveling through and will most definitely stop again.
