Sweet place. Extremely clean, well decorated. Their cocktails were creative and very tasty. I had a cosmo and my husband had their version of a Long Island Iced Tea (and was given the leftovers!). I rarely finish my meal but the Macadamia Beef dinner was tremendous. The sauce had a good spice, the meat was not fatty at all and the veggies were fresh. My husband thoroughly enjoy the Massaman Curry. I really want to return to try the Pumpkin Curry, it sounds wonderful.

Had to call them after 45 mins ( they did not call me) after ordering to find out that they hadn't started making my food yet. While I can appreciate the honesty, it is unacceptable that I wasn't called. Should be a 0 out of 5.

Don't order online from this place. We waited an hour to then call THEM to find out that the order hasn't even been made! Ridiculous and unprofessional! Worst experience I've ever had ordering food online.

And I'm in the area on business at least once a month and always make a point to stop here for curry. fantastic food friendly service!

I love this place. I order often through foodler and I am never disappointed. The lunch menu varies from the dinner menu. Also you can not order lunch from foodler only dinner, as foodler is a delivery app. I have been to Thailand and the open air restaurants in Bangkok and can I say, this food tastes AUTHENTIC. I enjoyed the fried basil rice, though one time I asked for pork and was delivered chicken, so it is imperative to repeat your order. The coconut soup is to die for and the Kapow chicken is just that, POW, packed with spice and flavor. I am a green curry lover though ventured over to the crispy basil chicken once and I am never disappointed. The food is phenomenal and the restaurant itself, when I went to pick up my food, was very tranquil. Treat yourself to this wonderful Thai restaurant, a hidden gem on Stoneham!

I love this place!!! We have been going here for years. It is by far our go to Thai place. The restaurant is always clean, the staff is friendly and the food is wonderful. We have never had a bad experience here.

This place is average at best. The house soup tasted of msg when they said they don't use msg. Massaman curry had shrimp that was not fresh and sauce that was days old. The server was extremely structured and inflexible when asked if one ingredient could be minimized. If it weren't for our meeting being close by, we would not have visited this restaurant.

The best pad Thai around!! Great staff/great service! The appetizers are all delicious as well. We especially love the dumplings & spring rolls. For a special treat, get the Thai iced tea, creamy, sweet & amazing!

One of my favorite restaurants. I order food here regularly, sometimes take-out and sometimes sit-in. The food is always good- I've never to my memory been disappointed with it. The service staff is friendly and sometimes even chats with us while we wait for our take-out. The atmosphere is nice, if simple. I love the pad thai, the drunken noodles, the mango fried rice, and a variety of curries. The spring rolls are delicious and unique- I rarely find any like them and I'm always looking because I love them so much! The golden triangles, the seaweed salad, and the fried ice cream are all very yummy too! I love this place and I think everyone who likes Thai food owes it to themselves to try it!

I so wanted to enjoy this meal, but it was unfortunately the worst Thai food Ive ever had... and that even includes my homemade trials (which were pretty bad!!). I ordered Pad Thai for takeout. It was so dry and tasteless, like they didnt use any sauce. It has the normal 3 shrimp but only 2 TINY pieces if chicken, 1 piece of green onion, about 1 peanut crushed into tiny pieces and about 15 beansprouts. So pretty much a heap of dry ricenoodles. I will unfortunately not be going to this place again.

Love this place!! Everything I have had here has been really good and I eat a lot of Thai food all over the country. this is one of my favorite spots for Thai

Still my go to place, no change from my original review over two years ago. Still my favorite Thai restaurant in the area.

Crispy pad thai was amazing. Better than most ive had in Boston. Great service. Preparation was impeccable. Great care goes into the work of the kitchen.

This is a small family owned Thai place that is worthy of a visit. The food is absolutely amazing and the service is great. I love the pumpkin curry and the coconut avocado curry. The Tom Yum soup and Prik Khing Green Beans are amazing as well. 5 stars and only a mile and a half up the road...don't have to go to Brown Sugar cafe anymore to get my Thai fix!

Stopped by for lunch, they were very friendly and 9 bucks for the lunch special was more than enough food.

I've sat in at this restaurant once a while ago, it was very good, fresh and tasty. Restaurant is definitely small but the staff was friendly and efficient and I wasn't dissappointed by anything! But the last few times we have ordered take-out we went with Taste of Siam... it is definitely our new go-to for take out!! We got an assortment including friend dumplings, chicken fingers, fried rice, beef and chicken dishes and I loved everything! They had plenty of options with rice pasta so Joe could eat it, and I thought it was better then any other asian take-out in the area. They don't overcompensate with the salt because everything is fresh! We will definitely be back!

  • Sam T.

This place is delicious. My favorite thing to order is the lunch box special where you get a smaller entree and two appetizers. The vegetable pad thai is great along with the spring rolls, and you have to get a thai iced tea. I recommend this place if you love thai food.

I get food to go here maybe once or twice a month, for a year or so and it's been delicious every time. If you're looking for Thai in this area, give them a try.

I love Taste of Siam! For a long time, this was a go-to lunch spot for me and a friend. Moving and things happened, but now I win because I pretty much live down the street. Hurrah! All of the fresh rolls for me! Seriously, sometimes I get 2 orders and make a meal of them. Nom nom.... vegan goodness. Super friendly staff, cute and cozy dining room, and fast take out and delivery. Seriously as good as it gets.

I can't say anything bad about my experience here. Good food, friendly service, fresh ingrediants. I went for lunch and ordered to go. Took about 10 minutes and I sat at the bar and was able to watch CNN on the big TV. Pad Thai was excellent and a good sized portion. I'll get 2 meals out of it.

Ate here after returning from a trip to Thailand. the food was good and satisfying and it was nice to have some Thai beer again, not quite as good as the Bangkok street food we enjoyed but I wouldn't expect to find anything like that here. would definitely come back here when craving Thai food as it is local and convenient.

  • Cara C.

This our once-a-week staple for take-out. Very good Thai food (in an area where good takeout is sparse in my opinion). Their healthy stir fry dishes are heaping with fresh vegetables and if you like spicy Thai food like my husband, they can have you tearing up over your dinner plate - no problem. (or mild - like me - not a problem either :)

  • John O.

Another great meal last night. They never disappoint. I tried the pumpkin curry and loved it, my wife got her usual crispy pad Thai. We almost didn't have enough room for the pumpkin custard with sticky rice, but we can never pass that up... So. Good. We almost wanted to order a couple of custards to go so we'd have some dessert with our leftovers!

  • Kristina H.

This is my favorite Thai place ever. The curry comes as like a soup with a candle to warm it. They make origami flowers with the paper on the straws. Food is always great and reasonably priced. I recommend any of the curry dishes and the Thai iced tea.

Food is solid! Great lunch special

The best beef satay I've ever had! It's AMAZING! The kraprow chicken was not so good. The spice/heat was nice but there was no other real flavor. In fact it had sort of a burn flavor to it. I dunno, maybe it was an off night. This place is pretty cool. The dining room is quaint and he staff is nice. I would go back but I would try a different dish.

Excellent Thai food! Last time I went, momma was in the kitchen and had the pumpkin curry. I love this place, because food and service have always been great. Thai custard? Yes, please! Only gripe? Can't get a good martini for lunch. That's ok, because this place is so good!

  • Holly G.

One of the best Pad Thai's I have ever had! I've tried the curries as well and those are good. Have ordered from other local Thai restaurants in the area, and this one is by far the best.

  • Patrick B.

This place is really great! It has a nice, cozy feeling. I got the "Kapow" dish with pork. It was so tasty, and the rice was great as well. I mixed the 2 and it made a delicious combination. I highly recommend this place.

Perfect!! Thanks to Yelp I met a friend here for lunch. The $8.95 lunch box was excellent. I started with yummy chicken soup, then had a Thai spring roll and a crab Rangoon. My main course was a fabulous yellow chicken curry. I would have licked the plate if I could. Unfortunately I don't live close but will have to make up a good reason to head back to Stoneham so I can visit again. Thanks yelp!!

Went there last night for my husband's birthday. It was very good. Best I have had in a long time. I however do not like paying for refills on our drinks. Plus they didn't tell us, so it was just added to the bill. My husband had the coconut soup and loved it. We ordered the mango duck. It was great too. The watress was very pleasant. All over a good experience. I would go there again.

I really wanted to love this place, its so close to my house. Im also on a pad thai kick, so it wouldve been so beautiful, couldve been so nice. However, although the place looks alright, the ambiance is non-existent. The water tasted funny, like it had lemon soap in it. Then so did the diet coke. The appetizer combo plate we ordered was good. The pad thai was a let down. It was soggy and Ive had so much better in the nearby area lately. We asked for soda refills and didnt find out until the bill came, that there are no refills. That just irks me. Well, its not like its bad, but I certainly wouldnt go here again. And if you do go, get a bottle of wine...safer than the soda/water option.

We order from here pretty often. Got delivery a few times and then realized its 2 blocks away from our apartment and we felt kind of silly paying for delivery. Our favorite dish is the crispy basil pad thai. We also like the pineapple fried rice, and the curries. They have some of the best crab ragoons I've ever had, but they're a little pricey.

  • Michelle L.

Really great place for lunch. The special includes a tasty soup, 2 pieces of apps (pick from a list of four) and a well portioned entree for under $10. Your choice of white or brown rice. Thanks to their fresh ingredients and light hand when it comes the sauce...I'll definitely eat here again!

Great food & service! We ordered tom yum soup, basil fried rice & both were delicious! Ordered ra pad for my 4 yr old & she loved it!

Hubs got: Taste of Siam duck, which he characterized as 'respectable'. I got: Chicken Pumpkin Curry, which was definitely solid. The food was a bit too sweet for my tastes, overall. I may go back to try out some other menu options the next time I have a hankering for Thai food. Tip: There's a small private lot for ToS customers behind a yellow multiple family house on the corner of Main and Benson.

This was a nice little restaurant, I really loved the atmosphere and decor, they did a great job with that. We came here for dinner Friday night and it was pretty good. Service was fine, and they were very attentive with the water refills. For an appetizer we had the sampler platter, and it was the perfect amount of food for two people to split. Also, it came with Crab Rangoon, which surprised me because I'd never seen that at a Thai place before. All the sampler items were yummy and their sauces were excellent. For dinner we ordered the pumpkin curry and the drunken noodles to share -- they were very decent but not spicy at all, and I loves me some spice. Especially since they're both supposed to be spicy dishes, or at least according to their menu. Nothing stood out in particular or screamed "I must return!" to me, but I would go back if someone else wanted to or I was in the area directly.

BEST.FOOD.EVER. -Crab rangoon 5/5...I like to consider myself a Crab Rangoon connoisseur, and this is the BEST I EVER HAD (clearly I'm listening to Drake) -Bangkok Dumpling 4.5999/5 ...i would travel TO Bangkok for these dumplings -Pad Thai 4.709766899/5. I will never Get pad Thai anywhere else except here and the Thai place at the Super 88 Connection in Allston. NEVER I TELL YOU! -Drunken Noodle 4.111/5 its iighttt, although my mother who refuses to eat anything other than Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food (ie, home girl hates Asian food and the likes) goes bananas for this dish. So, clearly TOS is doing sump-in right. RIGHT?! And lastly, - Lab Kai 1/5 there's a story behind this. I read spicy in the description and decided MUST HAVE THIS!! Much to my dismay...I HATED this dish, so much so, all I ate was the jasmine rice (which is bomb). When the server came with the bill and asked if I liked to take it home, I refused (I know, wicked bitchy, but i cant help but be honest) she came back 5 minutes later with a different bill (she had taken the Lab Kai off the bill) and asked if I would like another dish (complimentary) (which I didn't take up cuz I already felt like an ass) So...what does this prove? A. Clearly, my taste buds aren't mature enough for AUTHENTIC Thai food and always resort to the Americanized stuff. B. The service is phenomenal. the people who work/own TOS are proud and genuine about their food and service. They're always welcoming and it adds to the charming vibe of this restaurant. C. Maybe my nationalistic mom will like the Lab Kai.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SO, NOW THAT IVE EATEN AT TASTE OF SIAM I can die happy. WAIITTT, I LIED!!! I haven't had their Pumpkin Curry yet that everyone seem to rave about. Once I have that....THENNN I can die happy. Problem solved!!

Great Thai food delivered to your door using Foodler.com . The delivery man is always friendly and the food is excellent. Pad see u, Thai salad and the ka pow chicken for some spice. Their healthy stirfries are super delicious. Our young kids love it too.

Truly a hidden gem. Every meal is made with fresh ingredients. I have gotten to know the staff here over the last few years and have learned it is family run. It is a relaxed atmosphere. Our go to items on the menu include: Paradise Fresh Rolls, Golden Triangles, Thia Pumpkin Curry (YUM), Avocado Seafood Curry and Drunken Noodles. We have confidently taken friends and family here when they visit from out of town and they have never been disappointed. The decor is simple. The drinks are tasty! No complaints with price because of the quality! I highly recommend giving it a try if you are in the area. If the size or decor is not up to your standards then order takeout......

Though I have yet to go and eat at this establishment, they're take-out is superb! They were quick to answer my call and the woman on the line was very nice and made sure that she had my order down correctly before letting me know when to pick it up. We got the chicken pumpkin curry that everyone has been raving about, the pik pow fried rice, and the chicken drunken noodle. The chicken pumpkin curry is amazing. When we saw it on the online menu I thought that this would just be something that has a "taste" or flavoring of pumpkin. I was wrong. It actually has pieces of sliced pumpkin in the sauce. It was fantastic! It was definitely a nice change from other types of vegetables in a curry sauce and it also provided a similar texture of a potato, without the starchy flavor. We ordered the pik pow since we've become die hard converts of the dish as it is served up at Similans in Cambridge and wanted to see how it measured up. Though it doesn't have the same spicy intensity as Similans's version, it doesn't disappoint either. All in all, I can't wait to try this place in person (I had someone pick up the order for me?) to get a feel for the environment and try their fried ice cream!!!

Lunch here is yummy and it's a great price. I'm a huge fan of the lunch box. Two small appetizers, one bowl of soup, a yummy main course, and some rice. I enjoyed it so much, I finished it right up! Parking here looks scary, but today, I discovered their parking lot. If you are coming from downtown Stoneham, it's the first street on the right before Taste of Siam. You could always take a right after the restaurant and take the next right and the lot will be on your left.

Slow service, OK food. - This place used to be a dry cleaners - we're talking a while back now, kids. There was a fire here and the place lay empty for a bit. Then this place showed up - "Taste of Siam". I admit, I had no idea what it was until I read the reviews here. It's right on the edge of this very busy intersection on Stoneham's wonderful Rt 28 (that's saracsm: it's anything but "wonderful"). - We walked in and no one greeted us. Do we seat ourselves? You walk into this tiny room of maybe 4 tables and there's no direction as to what you're supposed to do. Finally a lady comes and gets us and seats us in the other room - which is bigger and has a bar. There was only one other small group of people there. - Service was terribly slow. It wasn't busy - more people came in for take-out than there were people sitting down eating - and the waitress was the only one working, apparently. But she didn't seem to be in any hurry. - We ordered two drinks and an appetizer. We said we'd be ordering dinner too and she said she'd come back. She almost never did. Despite my trying to make eye contact when we were ready to order. She looked like I was an inconvenince more than anything else. - The appetizer came before our drinks. Weird. That bothered me. I can't tell you what we ordered because their website or online menu isn't working right now. I think it was "Puffy Curry". 3 little meat-pie things. I don't know what was in them, I don't know what that weird sauce was that came with it - they tasted OK. The third one smelled.... FUNKY. I'll get back to that in a minute. - Finally our drinks show up. Well, one of them. Strawberry smoothie. It's ok. After a few more minutes - the other shows up. The Pineapple Smoothie was outstanding - if you do go here, get this for sure! - Dinner: Vegetable pad thai: Passable. It had that funky odor to it. Do you know what I mean? You know when you get pad thai and at some places it has that gross FUNKY stench to it like the chef is using a pan that hasn't been cleaned in 20 years? Ugh. It REALLY puts me off my food. And this had that stench. Duck: Incredible: I can't remember which one - again, can't see the menu - but it was awesome. It was super-tender and flavorful and not gamy. Wonderfully flavorful skin. That was a great dish. Desert: Coconut rice pudding thing: Awesome! A great finish. Strong coconut flavor - something you rarely find in coconut dishes. I really liked it. - So I would say some of the dishes are hit-or-miss. The service is totally lacking. - Ambiance: The whole time we were there, this big guy dressed in short shorts and a weird patriots shirt kept looming around: walking in and out of the kitchen, refilling ice at the bar. Hey, how about getting us our drinks or giving us some more water? It was weird. It felt weird having this guy sort of hanging around. I didn't like that at all. OH And you're right on Rt 28 - it's a VERY busy road - police cars and ambulances rushed by while we were eating dinner. Not exactly a romantic spot, know what I mean?

Really great Thai food! We found it based on the Yelp reviews and it definitely lived up to the feedback we read here. They weren't afraid to make the food spicy. We had the papaya salad - a special - and it was fantastic. The drunken noodles and green curry were also very good although nothing extra-ordinary. The service was also great. A great spot in this area and right off of 93.

Awesome awesome awesome Thai food. Love this place so much. I go there for lunch about once every two weeks. I used to live right down the street but now I'm 20 minutes away. Good thing too because I would eat here every day if I could. Lunch prices are amazing - about $8.50 for lunch specials. My favorite is the chicken cashew nut - unbelievable. Other good choices are the curry dishes and the Gai Gapow (if you like spicy).

My absolute favorite Thai restaurant! Authentic Thai food from a Thai family. It's a tiny little place in Stoneham that you can almost miss but worth the trip from ANYWHERE in the Boston area. The star of their menu is without question the Chicken Pumpkin Curry. If you're not a fan of curry, be adventurous and give this a try, you'll be glad you did. I was not a huge curry fan but was turned by this one dish. I like to order it extra spicy with brown rice. I could literally eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner for two days straight! My other two favorite dishes are the duck dishes: Ped Makham and Taste of Siam Duck. Wonderful intimate space for a romantic dinner, a business meeting or having dinner with friends. The seating is limited due to the size of the place and you will have to park on the street (no private parking lot), but the food and service are worth it. Very nice family that owns the place. I call this the jewel of Stoneham. Trust me, the pumpkin curry is a must try!

A friend brought me for the first time, and what a great discovery. This is a hidden gem! All our food was great (Golden cups, pineapple fried rice, Chicken Pat Thai & Tom Kha Gai soup). Everything was interesting, distinctly flavored and perfectly prepared. Pricing was fair to a tad high ($60 for two with no alcohol). Service was adequate. The only knock I had was on the 'experience' - Instructions to the kitchen heard loudly in the dining room, a staff member poorly dressed eating dinner at an unmade table alongside guests, waitstaff in street clothing, a carpet badly in need of replacement and a large television dominating the dining room. Great food - Kudos to the chef. But, the front of the house could use some work. Move the bar and takeout action into the other room, and create a warm intimate dining room. Business would grow!

Thanks, Yelpers! I picked this place for a group dinner based on Yelp reviews. Turns out this was a favorite spot of one of the couples, and will likely become a new favorite spot for us newbies. All the food was excellent. The wine was good. And the service was very good too -our waitress made some great recommendations.

Thai food's always been hit or miss with me. It's good to find a place that actually satisfies the palate. Words from friends brought me to the lovely town of Stoneham, no more than a few minute drive from our location in medford. The place is quaint and wrapped in clear site around a corner of Main st. The interior is pretty luxurious with fiery orange curtains draped at the entrance. Seems like a hot little date spot. My accomplices (including Kristyn. M) and I tried the crab rangoons and golden cups for appetizers. The accompanying sauce had a taste similar to honey that complimented both well. I don't normally eat crab rangoons either but these are more than worth a taste. The entree was Chicken Thai Pumpkin Curry. I personally thought it was quite spicy but quite tasty. I look forward to divulging in the leftovers tomorrow over brown rice. We finished off the night with the fried ice cream and the Thai Custard. Both were ravaged and ingested within seconds. AMAZING. It's just unfortunate this place isn't convenient by T, otherwise I'd be here on a regular basis.

First time i have been to this place and I took my mother. We had an amazing dinner with such nice service. The food was out of this world amazing!!! I am an extremely picky eater and I was very impressed. Our server was very friendly, the food was fresh and delightful. Can't wait to go back!!!

I wish I could give this place negative stars!! After waiting for TWO hours, and multiple phone calls between the driver and his "sister" (who must own the place) we were forced to cancel our delivery of soup and salad! Disappointed because of the great reviews, but seriously don't order delivery.

Nice little Thai restaraunt located on Route 28 in Stoneham. The place used to be an Italian joint, but I never went. Too many other Italian options around. So I'm new to the world of thai food. Been to Montien a couple of times and the Jaes Inn in Adams once. So I ordered my first Pad Thai from Taste of Siam and it was really good. Could have used some more shrimp, but I'm just being picky with the shrimp thing. They also have some americanized appetizers, because I was able to get crab rangoon, which is always a hit. The restaurant itself is pretty small, but well decorated. Looked like less than ten tables in the whole place. I could see us eating at one of their nice window tables sometime. We'll be back...

I was looking forward to trying this place but we ordered via delivery and waited over 2 hours before we called to cancel. Apparently the delivery guy had no clue where he was going and when he called to ask for directions he didn't know how to even find I-93!!! DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM HERE.

    I. LOVE. TASTE. OF. SIAM. No really, I wish I could have it everyday for every meal. I am really picky and a food snob; that says a lot. I hate to repeat something to death, but seriously the Pumpkin Curry is amazing. I would take a bullet for the chef who makes it. It makes my dreams come true. I save the extra sauce after all the vegetables and chicken are gone and find my own things to eat it with. So So SO good. Spicy, sweet.........I guess that's the whole Thai 5 flavors thing. I wont be able to sleep tonight because I am thinking about it. The ingredients are so fresh. The Pad Thai is also amazing and I have never been disappointed. I have never actually eaten in the restaurant, only take out. But with take out this good, I am assuming the dining in is AMAZING. Please please eat here. mmmMMMMmmMMmmm

Thai food. just one word peeps - YUMMERS! I'm glad that Stoneham is growing in it's culture - it's nice not to have to drive to Newton to eat some decent Thai food - let me tell ya. Hubbie and I went for lunch when it first opened, it was quiet and a sweet atmosphere. The food we had was good - don't ask me what it was because I was kinda disappointed that they had no salmon on the menu or no wild boar basil so I just settled for whatever it was that I thought sounded ok to me. Hubbie loved what he had - flat noodles with uber yummie thai sauce. Appetizers were good too. I would recommend this place to my best friend - so I'm recommending it to you guys ! Enjoy!

Finally, a Thai restaurant in Stoneham! And a good one at that! I have been super excited to try this restaurant since it opened and I was not disappointed. We started with an appetizer of Golden Bags, which were described as minced chicken, shrimp, corn and water chestnut wrapped crispy spring roll shells. I'd describe them as heaven. They were amazing. We followed this up with an order of Pad Thai, which is always my first meal at a new thai restaurant to determine the quality. If they mess up the Pad Thai it's all over. But it was one of the best I've ever had. And I'll say the same about the Thai Iced Tea - YUM YUM! I will definitely be back to try more of the amazing sounding items on this menu!

Ordered delivery for our first taste of Taste of Siam (oooh punny enough for you?) There was a little bit of confusion on the directions but it was easily sorted. The delivery guy was very apologetic about the confusion and very nice. He left and we unpacked our goodies. Golden Triangle, steamed Bangkok dumplings, chicken satay, pad thai, chicken & pork garlic...and...and oops, the Thai iced tea was missing. Oh well, we thought as we tucked into our tasty dinner. A few minutes later the doorbell rang, yes, it was our friendly delivery man, returning with the forgotten Thai iced tea. Hurrah! I'm so glad he came back with it. It was to die for! The Golden Triangles and accompanying sauce was super yum! The chicken satay was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the peanut sauce might be some of the best I've ever had. I'm not sure what the sauce is that they use for the Bangkok dumplings but it is hands down the best dumpling sauce I've EVER had. I highly recommend it. The dumplings are good too, perfectly cooked. The Chicken & Pork Garlic is a savory dish served with Jasmine rice and the Pad Thai is a less sweet recipe that is well done too. It's great that they now have their menu on the website and you can even order online too, which is also great.

I love Thai food and I didn't hesitate to say yes when my friends, who live in Stoneham, asked me to go with them to try this new restaurant. I think I may have to move closer to my friends.. or just crash on their couch a few times a week just so I can be closer to this yummy food! The first time we went (yes we've been back a few times) I had the Himmapan Chicken (spelling?) It was amazing! I have a hard time finding it at Thai restaurants so when I saw that on the menu I knew right away that's what I was having. Usually this dish comes with chunks of canned pineapple but here it came with a giant piece of fresh pineapple, right on my plate! For an appetizer I had fried calamari, which were big enough to be worn as bracelets. It came with a delicious sweet dipping sauce. I also tried my friend's pumpkin curry. Wow! If presentation doesn't impress you when this dish comes to your table, then one taste of it will. Since I've been back I've ordered and also tried many different things. The ones that stood out the most were Tom Yum Soup, Massaman Curry, Peanut Satay, Spicy Steak, and always classic Pad Thai. And no meal would be complete without a yummy Thai Iced Tea. The prices here are great. The atmosphere is warm, classy and inviting. The staff is great and the food is absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend Taste of Siam. And even if you think you don't like Thai food because you've never tried it, give it a shot. You will be pleasantly suprised.

Taste of Siam opened down the street from my house about a week ago and my boyfriend and I walked down there last night with a friend. This place was great. The decor is very nice and rather upscale for the location, but the prices are decent (save for the desserts, which are huge and delicious, but expensive). I had the Thai pumpkin curry (amazing) and the guys had the Thai fruit fried rice and the Taste of Siam crispy chicken (also, delicious). Despite one small snafu with one order, the service was friendly and quick. Our waitress highly recommends the crispy pad thai. This new restaurant is a welcome change from Stoneham's usual lineup of greasy chinese and Italian take-out joints. Check it out!

We ordered from Taste of Siam last week and it was yum yum! We tried crab rangoon (which my husband tries everywhere, he's kind of addicted), seaweed salad, and the Paradise Fresh roll to start. Everything was great, although the vegetables accompanying the seaweed in the salad were basic iceberg salad fixings. For mains we were totally unoriginal and ordered seafood pad thai and vegetable pad thai. Both were great, though. Next time I am definitely trying a curry! I have to mention that the woman who took my order was very friendly & sweet, and the guy who delivered was also super-friendly. I can't wait to eat in the actual restaurant.

Love this thai place in Stoneham. It's one of the best restaurants I've tried in Stoneham. I enjoyed the thai iced tea and pad thai and my husband LOVED the yellow curry! Great fast service and yummy comfort food.

Originally, our family had planned to eat somewhere else in Stoneham -- only to find that the restaurant is no longer. On our way home, we passed by Taste of Siam. Our stomachs growled so we decided to check it out. What luck. The lunch menu was quite varied, including the much-Yelped about Thai Pumpkin curry. The waitress was fantastic. When she took our order, she was more than accommodating for our vegan and our toddler daughter's wheat-free meal. While we waited for our food, she brought my daughter crayons to doodle on the paper placemats. I had the pumpkin curry and my husband had the Spicy Bamboo dish. Both spice levels accurately reflected what was featured in the menu. The curry was delightfully creamy and the bamboo was pleasantly light. Good combo for sharing! The only knock I'd have is that the portions were a bit on the small side. We spent the rest of the afternoon talking about how great our find was.

Love it! Love it! Love it! This place is so small and cozy you have to check it out! I tried the vegetable soup and it was amazing. the broth was so flavorful and the vegetables were crisp and de-lic-ious! The "Paradise fresh rolls" were amazing as well. Wrapped in rice papaer with sprouts, avocado, carrots, and other veggies make it so healthy and taste amazing too. Also tried the steamed pork dumplings. These were homemade, which I could tell right away, and just bursted in my mouth with flavor. There appears to be a full liquor license in this small place but I did not drink anything but water. For an ideal spot just slightly north of the city you should definitely try out this place. So so so so good and I will be back for sure!

My boyfriend and I are always in search of a good Thai place. Taste of Siam was a great surprise. A little odd atmosphere but the food is genuine and fresh. We can't wait to go back

We went there on Monday night with very empty stomach. We ordered, Fresh spring roll, Fruit fried rice over brown rice, Chicken pad Thai, Spicy duck, and Chicken pumpkin curry (recommended by Yelpers). The food was late (or so we felt since we were very hungry) with only two other tables seated but the service was good. The food was EXCELLENT!! My kids LOVED the fruit fried rice. My pumpkin curry was more spicier than the Spicy duck. Overall it was a great meal!!

Went here for lunch the other day. Had lunch size yellow curry - it was excellent. Although I felt like prices are too high, especially for a small place like this. Lunch entrees are 8-9 dollars, when other places usually price them at 6-7.

I have only eaten here once and typically wouldn't review a restaurant on that basis, but my friends and I were disappointed to the point that we would never go back, so I thought someone else out there may think it's worth knowing. We went to this place because our usual spots were closed due to being on vacation in Thailand, we all wish we had just waited a week or so. Specifically; our food was overly salty and for the price our portions were very small. Maybe not even for the price, in general - our portions were very small. end.

We ordered take out recently on a Friday night. I ordered online but never heard back from them so I called to confirm our order was fine. They admitted that they were backed up with deliveries and asked if it was okay if we picked up our food instead. Since I live close by, I was fine with that. When I walked in, I was greeted with a huge smile and they were quick to fulfill our order. My chicken pad see ew was delicious and my fiance's drunken noodles was good and spicy. We both cleaned our plates and look forward to visiting this place again!

Went here with my hubby for dinner. We were the only people in there on a Thursday night which made me a little nervous....but it must have just been a very slow night. We received attentive service (thank goodness since again we were the only people there) and the food was really good. There was a steady stream of people who came in to pick up take out orders. After reading all of the rave reviews about the golden bags appetizer we were disappointed that they didn't have them when we were there - we'll just have to go back!

We went there for dinner this evening. The food was so yummy and delicious! The place is very small and intimate. Small bar area (complete with TV, which I could do w/out, but to each his own!) We started with the Paradise Fresh Roll - and paradise they were! Comes with a lovely peanuty sauce. MMMMMM. I had the Scallop Prik Pow - a nice sweet and spicy sauce over veggies and perfectly cooked scallops. He had Spicy duck with was also quite good. Everything there is so fresh. We will definitely be back!! Thank you!!

This is a tiny little local Thai place that is super-convenient for me. The food is tasty but maybe not as good as a couple other Thai places I've tried in Cambridge or Arlington, but they more than make up for it with welcoming service. I've eaten there a couple times with friends and babies, and the staff is very understanding about the messes that kids (and adults) sometimes make. It's a great laid-back suburban Thai place that is great for a meal anytime.

We have wanted to try this place for a while, as we often drive by, and we haven't really come across great Thai food outside of the city. This place was pretty good, on par (or maybe even a step up from) with places like Brown Sugar and "Thaitation", but lacking the authenticity of Dok Bua, S&I and Pad Thai Cafe. The portions were a good size for the price and the service was really nice. As for the flavors, they JUST a tad weak, nothing too drastic. My girlfriend had Pad Thai. It was more sweet than anything else. If I was to order next time we go (which, we will), I would definitely ask for it "Thai style", and they amp some of the flavors up. I had Pad Ki Mao Gai (or, Drunken Noodles). Better flavor on these than the Pad Thai, but still lacking the completeness of flavors that the more authentic places in the city bring. The flavors, although less in the Pad Ki Mao than the Pad Thai have been toned down to adapt to American palettes. Admittedly, I have an American palette, but enjoy the flavors Thai Food has to offer. All in all, this is a great place, and we will certainly be back to try more things on the menu.

Took a chance since we'd never been here before, but quite a good surprise. Went on a Wednesday and it was almost empty, but that must be because it is as-yet undiscovered. Took the server's recommendation as to what to order and it couldn't have been better .

Just got done with our delivery and I'm a fan! We ordered online but with the way it's set up, I had to call in and make sure they knew it was for delivery. The woman on the phone was polite and she told me 30 min for delivery and it was exactly that. I ordered from the healthy menu so I could have white rice rather than fried, getting the chicken with broccoli, carrots, and mushrooms in thai herb sauce. The sauce was thin so the meat didn't soak it up well and at times bites were bland. But when you got the sauce mixed with the rice it was very good! My bf got the Pad Thai and Thai wings. He thought they were just ok, but would order from here again and try something new. We'll order from here again when craving Thai.

I debated whether to give 3 or 4 stars on this restaurant. Here are the reasons. The restaurant is located in a quiet residential area (or at leased that's what it looked). There is no parking lot except 1 handicap slot on the back of the restaurant (1 star off right there). The decor and atmosphere were pretty nice; however, there was only one another couple in the restaurant at the dinner time on Thursday, which felt really odd to be there. I really wish there were more customers, which could have made us feel comfortable. The waiting staff was super friendly and nice; however, she was the only one so she was not as attentive as I wish her to be (but she tried very hard to deal with eat in customers, take out customers, & many calls for take out). We ordered paradise rolls, which was unfortunately a disappointment because it's a cabbage & tiny but of avocado in a rice wrap. We ordered Pad Thai and mango curry, which were just excellent! We absolutely loved our dishes. However, i took another star off because my wine tasted like it was at least a week old. My friend's thai beer tastes ok. As they don't seem to have much of eat in customers, which makes sense. If I live anywhere near this restaurant, I'd be a regular TAKE OUT customer (unless they start to have more eat in customer during the week to make me feel comfortable doing eat in & to serve fresher booze).

My girlfriend and I come here at least twice a month. We always pick up or have it delivered. From having gone inside to pick up, the place looks great and cozy and I would love to sit down and eat sometime. The service is very friendly and delivery is always fast. They never have a problem taking long orders or a credit card number over the phone. The food is the best Thai I've ever had (And I've eaten a lot of thai). It's very rich and tasty but without the grease or msg of other places. You can stuff yourself full here and not feel bad about it. There appetizers are all good, I suggest getting a bunch even if you're not sure you'll like them. All the rice dishes are good too.

I'm so surprised by the great reviews. It's making me think I may have gone there on a bad night. But honestly, if you're relating to any of my reviews so far, you won't go here. Was SO hoping it was going to be a great spot, as there are so few good Thai places in this area. The food wasn't awful, but it was bland and mediocre. I think I got Chicken with pine nuts or cashews. The chicken was overcooked and the sauce was very watery. I tried my companion's food and was equally unimpressed.

Great food. Very tastey and reasonably priced. The quality is good too. We've never eater in the restaurant only take out. The place is small but sort of romantic if you're looking for a nice date night location. I always find something I like and then stick with it in fear of trying something new and not liking it. I always get the thai iced tea, thai dumblings, chicken tempura, pad si ew, and my wife always gets the pad thia. Good stuff!

I have been to this restaurant twice and I have to say, I'm a big fan! The food was really good --I had the tofu pumpkin curry--and I had a bite of the pad thai that my boyfriend ordered. YUM! The service was great and the staff is really friendly. Glad to see something other than Italian food and sub shops in Stoneham!

We've been eating at Taste of Siam for over a year, so it's time to share the love. The food is great, with a good combination of dishes for Thai food lovers and newbies alike. For dinner we had the traditional Pad Thai, drunken noodles, into the wild curry and the pumpkin curry. I'd recommend them all. We usually just go as a couple, but last night went with a party of eight and the service was as friendly as ever. Dishes came quickly and the food was as good as usual. Our waitress made some recipe accommodations to dietary needs. We ordered a sampling of apps -- chicken Satay was tender and tasty, papaya salad was very fresh, Thai spring rolls the usual, and the Paradise fresh rolls were a crowd pleaser. The only negative is that the small front room gets cold when the door opens. Ask to be seated in the main room and you'll be happy.

Tried it a couple months ago. Very good. Pad thai was great and my wife loved it. I got the tom yum soup which was very good, but not great. I also got the beef with mint, cucumbers and carots (forget the name). Served kind of room temp like a salad. It was amazing and will go back just for this dish. Definately our go to Thai place in the area.

Glad to see Stoneham is broadening it's food horizon with this little Thai place. Great food, very cozy atmosphere, awesome service. We have tried some things on the menu that are not traditional Thai cuisine (i.e. crab ragoon), and really recommend sticking with Thai specialties.

Wonderfully prepared meals. The service is very nice and it feels like you are visiting a family for dinner. I asked for something off the menu and they didn't have a problem preparing it. I adore their Crazy Fried Ice Cream!

This place is sooo goood. I am a regular at lanna thai diner, when they closed for vacation, I didnt know what to do!!! I had to have some thai. I strayed to Taste of Siam. It was perfect. I got some drunken noodles, my man, the duck. Both extra spicy, both cooked to perfection, both tasted great. We ordered take out ...sat and hung out at the bar with the owner, worker, and another customer. It was a small casual and comfortable atmosphere. They may even be my go to spot for Thai. So been back a few fimes since..spicy beef, basil chicken, pad thai...it just keeps getting better.

After reading all the glowing reviews I decided to give Taste of Siam a try. I ordered take out - crab Rangoon and shrimp/chicken pad Thai. The food was ready as promised and I drove home in anticipation. The crab Rangoon was very good and accompanied with a sweet side sauce. The pad Thai, unfortunately, was a disappointment. It was rather bland and lacked the characteristic tamarind flavoring. I did not order the spicy pad Thai (didn't know this was an option...) I would be interested in trying the restaurant again someday but if you want excellent pad Thai head to Pepper Sky in Cambridge.

This place is great. I've been here at least 10 times since they opened. The service is excellent, very friendly and helpful. There's a small parking lot across the street with a little sign saying so, otherwise park on main st. The thai iced tea and thai iced coffee are awesome. Curries are good. Pad thai is good, get it spicy. The dishes with the wide rice noodles are all good. The crispy pad thai is the one thing here that I didn't enjoy. I do recommend the Kai Himmapan (dinner size, not lunch size but you can order it anytime)...the weird thing is that I didn't even try the dish, my coworker got it. I think he said it was pretty good. But the best part is that this dish comes with a section of the best tasting fresh pineapple that looks so cool on the plate. And it's presliced into bitesize pieces that's enough to share with 7 of us at the table as a little after lunch dessert. The people here are so nice. When they noticed I was pregnant they gave us free ice cream!

i ordered delivery from taste of siam and it was just as fantastic as ever! the delivery was fast - 30 minutes from stoneham to melrose. this time i got the pad thai, pineapple fried rice and an order of dumplings. the pad thai and PFR were just as good as the last time, and the dumplings were so scrumptious! this place is fantastic.

My friends and I had the crab rangoon (completely homemade) and the golden cups as appetizers. We actually really had to fight to see who got the remaining ones (and we had to cut the crab rangoon in half to please everyone). They were delicious and tasted incredibly fresh. I had the pumpkin curry with shrimp. I highly recommend it. It had the perfect amount of spice and was rather savory. We also spilt the fried ice cream and a Thai custard. We probably would've licked the plates if it wasn't inappropriate ... it was that good!!! For a great environment, friendly service, and delicious food, you must try it!

got takeout here last night. super speedy service. started out with the golden cups app. which is on the special menu on their website (however not on the paper menu I grabbed at the place). the cups were like little scoops tostitos chips, but way better. they came with a little container of tiny potatoes, peas, carrots, etc to put in the cups and a little sauce, similar to sweet and sour. tasty! then on to food! I got the thai pumpkin curry since all the yelpers raved about it. it did not disappoint. huge portion, tons of sauce. I love curries that are rich and sweet yet spicy too. this pumpkin curry is outstanding. came with chicken, though you can get anything you want, plus peppers, pumpkin, potatoes, etc. really really good! Chris got drunken noodle with beef. also great. we've had a hard time finding good drunken noodle (loove it at Brown Sugar, so it's hard to compare!). but this drunken noodle was very good. can't wait to go back and check out some other dishes. definitely want to try the into the wild curry and a bunch of the fried rices - mango, pineapple and the fruit one too.
