I have to go to the Post Office every day for work, normally I go to the Wellesley location on Grove St. But today I stopped by here on the way home. The staff was knowledgeable, efficient, and very nice. It's a smaller branch but everything moved pretty fast. The Wellesley branch I go to is okay, everyone is nice as pie, but they are lacking a sense of urgency. The Winter Hill Location did just fine by me.

I was out of town due to a death in the family, so I called up this post office knowing that I had a certified letter there waiting for me to pick up. Turns out my letter was at another post office but the person I spoke to took the time to call the other office and ask them to hold it for me. It's easy to get frustrated with the postal system but the kindness I was shown here is worthy of five stars.

One of the best USPSs I've used in the Somerville area. Nice people working & I'm always in/out of here whenever I drop in w/in 10 minutes. Very nice people working here as well, should be used as a model for other locations.

If I could, I would put -5 star ratings. I had a $400 dollar package intercept to go to this location, and I wanted to pick it up at this location because of how expensive it was. I went online and followed the procedure to be held at that location. Winter Hill had sent it back to the original mail address the first time. I called and asked about it, and it was sent back to Winter Hill again. I went to pick it up a second time. Not only did they not have the package, or know where it was, or care, the desk lady criticized us like children about using their location (which was allowed) as a post office in front of a full room of customers.

I walk by here regularly on my way to work. Every morning people are waiting to get in, after 8:00 am. I tried to drop a package off on a Saturday and they had locked the doors before it was actually closing time. Is it too much to ask employees to work the hours they are supposed to work? Oh, and the package I sent from here never arrived which cost me $159.00

I have gone to this location on 4 occasions. Only 1 of my items ever made it to their final destination. The 3rd time, I lost my tracking # which sucks cuz it's been 8 weeks since I sent it to no avail. The last time I went, which will be the last time ever, I am still waiting for the tracking # to show where it is. But it's only been 6 days (sarcasm intended). I'm almost convinced they just throw my stuff in the trash. They are nice enough, I suppose.

After poor customer service experiences at 3 different post offices in Cambridge, and the inability to park anywhere near the Cambridge offices, I decided to give this location a try, as it features its own parking lot. Parking was a snap, and the service was friendly, courteous, and efficient. I greatly enjoyed chatting with the person handling my packages, Jennifer. This will be the location I return to!
