So happy that there is finally a Chipotle in Seekonk! No more hoofing it to Thayer Street which is absolutely miserable because of the crowds and parking situation (as in, there is none). There is plenty of parking here and the location itself is nice and spacious. Unfortunately, my first two trips have left a lot to be desired. The line moved uber slow and the portions were miniscule. Tinest burrito bowls I've ever gotten from a Chipotle. Also, the guacamole, while not bad, tasted off. I am hoping that they are just working out the kinks and a few months from now, this will be up to usual Chipotle awesomeness.

Love this place, wish I could eat it daily! Delicious food-everything is sooo good and made to order! The tortilla chips are warm and with guac or salsa, yummmmmmy! I have tried everything and never been disappointed! Only complaint is between the loud music and busy dining room it is hard to hear the staffs questions while they are making my order.

Very small selection and quite costly. (A SMALL bottle of water costs $2.35) 'nuff said.

I have a feeling I'll be eating lunch here 3 out of 7 days a week! I just have to say how amazingly happy I am this location is finally open! Took 3 months from the time the sign went up and I was worried I'll never have a juicy humongous burrito any time soon. Visited today again and this time got a burrito, with chicken and all the fixins... Don't forget the chips and guacamole! My burrito was wrapped a little loosely but since the burrito wrappers were fresh out of training I let it slide. There's was no complaints here, everything was fresh and right on. Have to love the fresh and pure ness of chipotle! Hand whipped sour cream, fresh guac, non infected chicken, beef and pork. The option of tofu instead of meat ( which is really tasty btw and infused with Mexican flavor), and veggies. WELCOME TO SEEKONK CHIPOTLE! We love you!

I've eaten here a number of times. Service is fairly good, food quality is consistent however their portions are not. It really depends on who is serving up the food as to how much you get. I have to imagine there is a standard out there somewhere, but no one seems to follow it. Again I wish I could give a 3.5 but since I can't they get 3 stars.

Where have you been all my life! Ventured into chipotle today for the first time with my family. Let me tell you! The employees where friendly and the food out of this world. Steak tacos with everything you want. No seriously I choose everything I could pick. All was fresh and I actually saw them grilling the steak and cutting it by hand. Now that's the way to make a taco. The chicken bowl and tacos where just as tasty. I don't know why I never ventured in before. Needless to say I will be back :) Very inexpensive too! Definitely stop in and go with the hot or the med sauce both are good. Hot has an after kick but on the bowl with rice it totally evens everything out! Mmmmm

So I asked for the server to cut my burrito in half, and the server looked at me like I had five heads and says "Uh, I don't have any knives" and I look directly behind him and there are literally 7 butcher knives on the wall. Wtf are you a lazy idiot? And my burrito fell apart and tasted like shit (cold steak, mushy chicken). Every time I've gone to a Chipotle, it's sucked.

I hate this Chipotle. They rush you and don't give enough of anything to have a big meal, like other Chipotle's do. My steak is always chewy.

So they haven't been open long. They're working out the kinks, training a super new (and young staff) and they don't have their liquor license yet (not that I was looking to imbibe on a Sunday, it was just prominently mentioned everywhere they were working on it, ASAP.) Ordered a Veggie burrito bowl. Got a salad made...they looked at me like I was evil for asking for mild and corn (hey....they do not make any mentions on you not being able to have more than one salsa....those of us in the know take advantage). 4 times I had to repeat no cheese, but yes I would like sour cream. Don't judge. The poor kid who rang me up didn't ask me if i wanted a drink and then kept reading the pre tax balance to me. Very large and clean location. Lots of outside seating, but I mean there isn't exactly a nice view. Train your staff and I'll definitely give you another shot.

Sigh.. The child wanted her favorite overpriced "Mexican" fast food tonight. She ordered her usual burrito bowl which consists of only; chicken, rice and cheese. The girl behind the counter scooped a tiny bit of rice in her bowl... My daughter asked for more rice (as she only gets 3 items in her bowl, so filling it up with cheap white rice shouldn't be an an issue?!) so the girl scooped a tiny bit more into the bowl and then added the chicken. The end result was a sad, pathetic, skimpy bowl that was merely enough food to fill up a toddler never mind a teenager and it certainly wasn't worth the amount it cost. I'll let the pictures take over from here.. I marked a plastic fork at 2 inches so you can get an idea how skimpy the bowl really was.

I recently went in for a salad bowl. I specifically asked for a salad bowl and the guy serving my gave me a hand full of lettuce. I had to ask him to put more lettuce twice. Even after all the toppings, grilled chicken, beans, sauce, no peppers and onions because they didn't have any left, my salad bowl was still not full like how it'd be made at other Chipotle's or Cliantro's. The only good thing was the chicken was flavorful.

First time at any chipotle. I have a cilantro close by I have gone to instead.. My burrito was good, but for the price I thought it was small in size ( expecially compared to cilantro which id say are almost too big), and there was not as many topping options either. For a quick bite I wish this place was a bit cheaper. 13$ for a burrito and a drink??

Although I am giving this place 2 stars I have to say that I do eat there about once a month.. I will start with the positive - The burritos are huge! They are packed with fresh ingredients and made right in front of you. This place is super fast but it isn't fast food. These are some of the reasons I keep coming back. It is fast and yummy Mexican, but I've had better. Here are my gripes with Chipolte. 1st - They don't offer good seafood choices! Where is the shrimp? They just have a white fish that has bland flavor - there is nothing like a good shrimp burrito! We are in New England! It stinks to walk in and get greeted by nothing but meat.. 2nd - My burrito is ALWAYS barely warm to cold when I eat it - and I am eating there! When I bite into it I really want hot food - it just doesn't ever happen and cold food drives me CRAZY! It's as if you let it sit for 20 mins before eating. 3rd - This really isn't their fault but they have a SERIOUS bee issue when you choose to sit outside.. No bueno.. I really want this place to step it up and have a nice presence on RT6! The concept is wonderful - but it is falling short. I will continue to try it here and there and write a better review when they deserve one.

I love this place! My boyfriend and I LOVE chipotle and we go quit often! So happy this location was open! Now that it's been open for while the staffs rolling and their great! Always so sweet and welcoming to me! They do sorta rush you, but what do you expect it's a fast food place. Another thing is there not as clean as they should be I feel... They are always busy and I can understand that it's hard to juggle that and all the customers. Other than that! I love chipotle! And I love their location! Literally down the street from my house! I'll be going there a lot, that's for sure!

Been to other chipotle's before but had been dying for this one to open so I could show my family the food I normally go for back in the city. The food was awesome (as always)! I got the burrito and like everything on their menu it was custom. I chose the carnitas (shredded pork), white rice (which has cilantro), tomato salsa, sour cream, cheese, and lettuce! Very fresh, and very tasty. Affordable prices and it's organic! Which is a plus because I only eat organic meat! Great location, lots of parking, there tends to be a line but it goes pretty quickly, and a good amount of seating! The kids option is great and filling for kids!

For something "fast"this place is amazing. I'm glad I finally have one close. My only issue is how full I get from this food! Chips are really good, salsa is, too. I will come back after a really long hike, or workout, to avoid feeling as big as I did the first time.

I'm so glad there's a Chipotle in Seekonk! The first thing I tried from Chipotle was the carnitas burrito. It's so juicy and flavorful I find myself ordering it every single time I go. The guacamole is yummy as is the roasted corn salsa. I'm officially addicted!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
