"Hostess" lacks much charisma...especially if she doesn't know you. Mixed drinks very high-priced. Stick with the pizza if you're gonna eat. Avoid the chicken parm...deep-fried without any flavor. Hard to screw up that dish but they do.

Wish I could tell you how the food was butttt I didn't last more than five minutes here because of how inexplicably rude the bartender with the short slicked back (poorly chosen you look like a cheap old hooker gone wrong) hair. I work in the restaurant industry and therefore, I am extremely understanding of servers and bartenders who are not on their A game and there is little that can go wrong to have me give any place one star... Renzo in Revere did it. My friend was a regular and unfortunately neither of us will ever be back. That woman lost a lot of business for the restaurant and a pretty good tip for herself.

We've been wanting to try this place for a while, especially since this locale was once the Driftwood, or the Bar, or whatever it chose to call itself, the gathering place of many ne'er do wells engaged in derring-do and other goings-on, when I was a habituer of such a den of iniquity, of such happenings - ah my youth, there is no such thing as beauty without decay! The atmosphere has changed drastically: which is for the better (it's amazing what a coat of paint can do). The long, wide glass doors to the street and the sea air gives the space a sense of openess, and the view of the ocean is spectacular - you can almost feel like you are in the South of France looking out at Antibes instead of Nahant. The pizza was good - order it well done. It's thin crust. We got steamers for apps, and the bartender made my friend a mojito, grinding down the mint like a pro, and my friend, the mojito snob, loved it. I stuck with the Stella. The pair of bartenders that waited on us were friendly and polite. There were two flatscreens, one showing the Sox double header, and the other the US Open - classy for Severe. We spent most of the night reimagining what the old Driftwood looked like, where the jukebox was, the pool table, where someone OD'd (you think I'm making this up?), etc. It was a bit warm in there, what with the nice day, the open windows to the street, and the heat from the pizza ovens. You can't drink alcohol outside, which is kind of a letdown. The bathrooms, sadly to say, appear to look exactly the same from the old days, sans the junkies and heady piss odor. The hostess was prominently displaying her tossed-boob-salad, and the manager, the Cruella Deville from a previous post, offered us a free sample of forcaccia bread, which was good, but salty. There are some hiccups with this place, but give it a chance, and I hope it does well.

Hmm. One of these days maybe I will leave satisfied enough to bump Renzo's up to 3 stars. Most recently stopped by on a starvalicious Saturday night on our way home from a spontaneous Aquarium Day. Prime Time and the place only had 4 or 5 tables bumping, which I guess is a statement. The martini menu could use an update, and for 10 clams those martinis should taste a whole lot better and have a whole lot more effort put into them.. anyone can throw flavored vodkas and liqueurs together and come up with nasty tasting concoctions. The spinach dip is served with pizza dough triangles, and I could feel the fat cells expanding in real time as I tried to pace myself for the actual pizza that we ordered. The pizzas were probably the best part, with a nice thin crust. Can't vouch yea or nay on sauce as we generally get white pizzas. Only one of us was served water when it was requested (really? come on!), and ultimately I got up and got two more myself at the bar and was no worse for the wear. No problem getting the old lady in with her wheelchair, but considering the place was stone cold empty -- they sat us in the back table next to the men's room!! Seriously? Very poor form, Renzo. People in wheelchairs like windows, too.

So my friend and I stopped off here for some pizza and calamari (throw in a couple of beers) and we had a decent meal. The food was good and the bartender was very nice. She even started chatting with us about the Red Sox and Patriots and how Teddy Bruschi just retired. As I glanced across at the "brick oven" I thought for a moment that Glen Close was all dressed up as Corella Deville in 101 Dalmations! I had no idea this was a celebrity hot spot. Until she turned around I didn't realize that it was just the manager, who had the sway and swagger of the bitchy dog-slave herself. There must have been 10 people in this place at 7pm on a Monday and the manager never even walked over to check on us to see if the pizza we ordered was good or not. How about a little human interaction. Then I saw Arthur Fonzarelli in the bathroom, oh wait, that's just because the bathroom was as greasy as his hair and as aged as the era in which he was on TV. So much for our celebrity hot spot and wish from the board of health.

Of all the places I've eaten on Revere Beach, this one is by far the best for its combination of good food and nice atmosphere. That's really not to put down the other eateries on the beach, which are designed for either mostly window service or a very quick bite on your way back to the sun and sand. Renzo is more of a real restaurant, where you can sit at a nice table in an air conditioned venue. They also have an outdoor area where you can sit under a shade umbrella and do a little people watching. This was my second visit to Renzo. The first time,my companion and I had one of the specialty brick oven pizzas, which was delicious. This time I had the Renzo Burger, perfectly cooked and tasting great. There are plenty of great beers on tap, and the service staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive on both of my visits.

Finally ate here for the first time this weekend. I'm pretty sure it's owned by the same people who opened Lola at this location over the winter, as many of the same problems are present. The service, while friendly, occasionally veered toward the inept, and the people marching in through the dining room using the glass doors in front (instead of using the appropriate entrance) was incredibly annoying. On the upside, the food was pretty good. My dining companions shared a pizza, which was excellent, and because I'm weird (and still missing Uncle Pete's) I got the pulled pork, and found it to be a surprisingly capable effort. If you happen to be in the neighborhood and don't want to fight seagulls to eat pizza from Bianchi's, this is a decent alternative, but it's nothing special and certainly not worth going out of your way.

Over the past year we have been to Renzo's 3 times...the 1st..absolutely GREAT...the pizza, the service, the ambiance. Second visit...food great but the bartender had a SERIOUS attitude problem (hint ,here, big guy...don't bring your personal problems to work). I'm a professional chef so I'm more than willing to give some slack...I have the utmost respect for people who work the front of the house..tough job, one that I don't want to do. Third visit...really BAD. We were eating our pizza when the bartender said that we needed to clear our tab because they were changing shifts! You actually expect me to handle money (extremely filthy) so I can clear YOUR tab?!?! Upon speaking to a "manager" (she was unwilling to commit to that title although she had been more than wiling to take the cash from the register at the shift change) she stated that the bartender should never have made that request and was there anything else she could help me with. Either these people have NO idea how to run a food service business, or it's a bogus tax shelter. P.S. Your bathrooms are filthy.

Love this place. Great atmosphere. Good food. and friendly bartenders. Paulina is my personal favorite bartender but they are all great. The brick oven pizza is great. My wife always gets the Chicken parm and always loves it. I've had the steak tips as well as the fried clams and both were fabulous. No complaints about Renzos at all. Friendly people and good food.

My husband and I had a,pizza and a couple of drinks here one day on our vacation. The guys who were working that afternoon were very nice. We wanted to sit outside and were acknowledged within a minute of sitting down, no pressure, just checked if we wanted a drink and gave us menus. It was hot so we got a couple of beers and checked out the menu. Our server's name was Trevor, very friendly and eager to please. He took our order and checked on us before our pizza came out, good service is hard to find, he was trained well and had a great personality. As a matter of fact the others inside were very pleasant too.The restaurant had some full tables, but server's took time to acknowledge you and see if you needed something...We will definitely be going back here again, nice to sit outside enjoy an ice cold beer and have good food! And of course great service makes it so much nicer! FYI, Don't waste your time going down the street to that other restaurant, terrible service!

TERRIBLE!! The environment and look of this place is deceiving. Its seemingly upscale, but the service is slow and the servers are either rude or ignore you. The seating is also limited because those seated outside cannot drink alcohol, making the wait even worse. Skip this place a roll to Kelly's for some roast beef or a lobster roll.

We were intrigued by the brick oven and the outside seating, but it was a huge disappointment. The waitress ignored us except for taking our order and started clearing the table before we were finshed eating. Sodas are full of ice and refills aren't free. The pizza was paper thin and the cheese was very greasy. Don't bother.

I am not even sure where to start. Yesterday a few friends and I went to revere beach for the day and we were hungry so we decided to come to Renzo's since its so close to the beach. I decided against kellys because this place looked promising.. boy was i wrong. Great on the outside horrible on the inside. We sat on the patio and it took about 7 minutes for a server to come over she wasnt nice at all, she just asked us if we wanted drinks and threw 2 menus down... when there was 4 of us. I asked if they had ice tea and lemonade.. she said yes. I asked her if she could make me an arnold palmer she said no because its not on the menu. First off is that serious? Second you just mix the two juices together. I told her id pay for them seperate and ill make it myself. She brought me over 2 glasses of warm ( no ice) ice tea and lemonade. she took our order, my boyfriend and I ordered a pizza and ceaser salad to split, guy friend ordered chix ceaser wrap and his girlfriend ordered philly steak. My boyfriend and I got our pizza and 40 minutes later came out our salad.... still our friends did not get their food. 10 minutes later our guy friend got his wrap and at this point we were already done eating and annoyed. I asked to speak to a manager and she didn't come over for 15 minutes! This place wasn't even busy and it was fourth of july so it had a good amount of customers but it wasn't slammed by any means. This woman who is suppose to be a manager walked around at a snails pace and ignored our table. Still no philly steak came out.. finally when it came out. i had them take it back and asked to see the manager again. The waitress said yup and walked away. She did not apologize for the disaster of a lunch, she did not explain the reasoning for such horrible service and delay on food. Finally the manager comes out and blames the kitchen for how fast the pizza came out and that all the waitresses came in at the same time and they are so busy. UM first off lady.. be a team player and don't blame the kitchen. second its fourth of JULY...did you really not expect it to be busy and is it our fault you scheduled all your servers to come in at the same time. I explained to her that fine okay the food isn't such a big deal even though it was, but the service was the worst i think I ever had in my life.. she was rude and we would have been okay if she explained the fact they were busy and behind yada yada but she dropped off food every 20 minutes and walked away. She dropped off a stack of plates, 2 napkins when there was 4 of us and never once filled up the glasses with water when they were empty. The manager said she was overwhelmed... well newsflash lady I am a server and I understand that it gets busy, servers get overwhelmed but that is still no reason for rude horrible service. I promise you this place will fail and I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone.

Brings class to the beach. The atmosphere is fun yet sophiticated, not pretentious. They have daily specials. I highly recommend the vegetable tempura, it is lightly breaded preserving the sweet flavor of the vegetables and the aspargus saute mmmmmmmmmm. The wings are good. seems to be freshly battered not like the typical frozen wing dings sold by most. This is my new fav place. Third time there in 2 weeks and have not been disappointed. Finally, If you find yourself at Revere Beach do yourself a favor and check this place out for some creative cuisine not normally found at any beach eatery around.

Not that great. My boyfriend and I went there to try someplace close by and figured it was right at the beach on a great summer night. First impressions were ok. The inside is stylish and they had the doors all open with the ocean breeze coming in. We were seated outside which was great but once seated we realized things were going down hill. Our drinks were brought out in paper cups (there may be some kind of issue having the glass outside, not sure) kind of strange for dinner but we went with it. We ended up ordering the pizza which was thin crust but not crunchy at all. It was kind of soggy with hardly any toppings. Our pizza had some chicken on it and we just expected more considering the price and size. If the lack of topping wasn't enough the chicken was dry and over cooked. After finishing our meal we waited for the waitress longer then it took us to order and eat. The hostess walked by several times and never said anything to us, eventually she cleared off our table as the waitress was no where to be found. Overall we were disappointed in the food the cost and service. It is a shame because it is really one of the few places in our area that is convenient and updated.

This place doesn't look exciting but the food was great. They were out of a lot of things on the menu which annoyed us at first and costs them a star but when we got our dishes we forgave them. We had meatballs, garlic shrimp (no kissing after this one), and dates wrapped in bacon... I wish we'd been more hungry! I'm not a tapas guru but the friend I ate with tonight is and blessed it as authentic. As an added bonus since no one hangs out on Revere Beach in the winter you can get a parking space right in front

We've visited twice in the last few months. Service is VERY slow. Wait staff are friendly though. Hostess was useless. Food so-so. The steamers were great, but it seems as though they dumped my clams, fries, and rings back in the deep fryer and forgot about them. Maybe if they served bread while waiting, the wait wouldn't seem so long. Probably won't go back - we've been burned twice.

I was given a gift certificate from my neighbor and I officiated a wedding ceremony there. My wife and I decided to give Renzo a try and we are glad we did. The place was buzzing with customer, The food looked and smelled AWESOME. We sat at the bar and was greeted, given menus and drink orders taken. As always, Martinis to start and BRAVO!! Big Martini Glasses.. We sat for a bit, never rushed. We ordered the steamer app, good size, fresh and tasty, but could have been a little warmer. We ordered our pizza and I have to say it was the best we have had in years. Loaded with toppings just the right amount of sauce and cheese and most important was a very thin crust, PERFECT!! The prices are right for an up-scale place such as this. The menu was loaded with other choices than pizza and we can't wait to try them.. One thing I do want to comment on was our bartender Paulina, Sweet, pleasant and was right there when needed. See you soon..

My best friend has been raving about their deep-fried olives since she moved in a couple blocks away last year. So on this visit, I had to try it out. She was not exaggerating - the vegetable tempura platter was outstanding. The olives were joined in deep-fried goodness by asparagus, peppers, artichoke hearts, and (this was a first for me) broccoli. The coating was light and falling off in some places, and all the veggies were really high quality and cooked perfectly. The broccoli was exceptional. We followed the "veggies" with a funghi pizza with perfectly thin, floppy crust, just the right amount of stretchy, stringy cheese, and mushrooms that had been deliciously seasoned and cooked before going on our pie. Renzo's has reinforced my belief (based on similarly great experiences at Jerry Remy's and The Parish Cafe) that Boston is a place where "bar food" is elevated to a higher place in the culinary world. Can't finish this review without commenting on our service - we sat at the bar and despite being busy, the bartender was friendly and just an all-around great server.

Great pizza, fresh toppings very thin crust, fair price, never dinned inside so no comment on the service, but for a good take away pizza on the beach this is the place.

I love going to this place, the food is great, the staff is great with one exception, the manager never says hi to us. We have been going there for a while and she has never uttered even a simple hello! I dont even know why they have her there, the rest of the staff seem totally capable of running the place without her.

My family and I went there today (5/31/10) after walking Revere beach. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. We ordered the calamari appetizer which thankfully was fresh and delicious! We also ordered the sausage & rabe pizza and the Italian wedge salad which was accompanied with gorgonzola cheese and pancetta. Both dishes were just okay. However, the pasta Bolognese was absolutely fantastic! It was true Bolognese. The way my mother always made it. Bolognese can be tricky because some restaurants make Bolognese like a Ragu sauce which is a no-no. It was our first time there and our server, Kerri's second day there. She was nice enough but could have been a little more attentive. We had to ask her for more soda for my son. By the way, they charge $2.50 per glass of soda with no refills unlike most restaurants. I would probably go back to sample other dishes. That's it for now!!

I've walked or driven past this place hundreds of times. Last night, i decided to check it out, and I am glad I did. I sat at the bar - the service was incredibly friendly; the food superior. The bartender recommended the pork chop entree - for $15, this might be the best value in greater Boston. Incredibly thick, cooked perfectly, roasted peppers on top, absolutely delicious - served w/asparagus and mashed or roasted potatoes (I got roasted - they were great.) Lively atmosphere - pretty crowded but not packed. Pizzas were clearly a hit here - they looked great. Other things to like: homemade french fries, great beach views, very fair drink prices ($3.50 for a bottle of beer, $6 for their red wine "special"), big portions, entree prices that top out in the mid-teens. I saw a complaint about their valet parking - no big deal - there is free parking up and down the boulevard, so just park on the street. Give this place a try!

The first time we attempted to try Renzo's, a new brick-oven pizzeria in Revere, we could not locate a parking space as Revere Beach parking ends at 10pm, even though the restaurant is open until midnight. On the second try, we found a spot out front and were quickly seated in a great seat facing some open windows to the ocean. It all went downhill from there. Our waitress was very overbearing, our Asparagus appetizer for $8.00 contained only 3 small pieces of Asparagus wrapped in prosciutto and the ambiance was unbearable by the end of the meal. The lovely seating location with open windows facing the beach turned into a walk-through for anyone and everyone stumbling in for a drink or visiting a friend at the table next to ours. We spent our dinner staring at groups of smokers that hovered around the front of the restaurant and although it was almost 10pm, 2 small children kept running in an out of the window-space, bumping into our chairs. We actually over-heard one customer complaining about the trip hazard entering through that window-way, even though there clearly was a formal entrance at the other end of the restaurant. To top things off, our waitress starting taking away our cutlery before we finished our pizza and hovered around us after she dropped off the check, waiting for us to pay. A nice night out turned into a pretty irritating and over- priced meal!!

Came here last night with a few friends. We decided to sit outside since it was a warm evening and inside was very loud. The hanging plant over my head must have just been watered and was dripping on me so I moved a bit to be out of the way, but the outside area is very small. We decided to order individual pizzas. One person in our party asked about an ingredient listed on the menu and the waitress said it was a type of cheese. When his pizza arrived it had bacon on it which this person does not like. When he questioned the waitress she brought it back into the kitchen and she then came back to us with the same pizza and said the chef told her that's they was it is made. My friend asked her to take it away and make him a plain cheese pizza. By the time his cheese pizza arrived the rest of us had finished our meals. We asked for a to-go box. When we got the bill we told the waitress we didn't think we should be charged for his pizza. She did remove it. Although the food was good the wait service was terrible. Maybe not her fault - could be she wasn't trained. She obviously didn't know her menu items.

We've gone to Renzo several times and found the food to be pretty good with pretty good (if not great) service. This time--our LAST time-- we walked in around 4:30PM. The place was fairly empty. The bartender was talking to another waitress. The tall, blond haired manager/hostess was sitting at the bar chatting with a patron. We walked in and awkwardly stood there in the middle of the room waiting for someone to greet us--at least say "sit anywhere"--but no. Nothing. The bartender stared at us like we were from Mars. The hostess never blinked. We were completely ignored. I asked "are you open?" and the bartender said "yes", but never offered to seat us, get the hostess or again, "sit anywhere". We stood there in the middle of the dining room for another full minute --at this point relishing the fact that we were being ignored--and just walked out. G'bye. We went up the road to Antonia's where we had a nice meal and were treated with respect.

The service here was TERRIBLE. First the waitresses act like they did not see us waiting to be seated. We then seated ourselves. I guess each waitresses was waiting on the other to clean our table. Finally they clean the table and take 10 more minutes to bring menus (after we went to the bar to make the request). After looking over the menu the waitress no shows so we go to the bar to request a drink and she says we have to wait on our waitress. All in all we left. Best decision because we went down to Kellys and it was AWESOME!

**Keep in mind this is the ONLY place on Revere Beach that you can get liquor while sitting outside. ** This place...meh. It's not the most magical place on earth...but if you want to have a cocktail while sitting outside (which I personally cannot think of anything better...) then this is your place. Don't have great, magical expectations of the food. It's middle-of-the-road-at-best and a little on the pricier side for the quality. Though there IS a brick oven for pizzas and had I actually been in the mooooood for a pizza I probably would have been very enticed by the oven. However, during my visit the pizza that was made was sitting on the counter for what seemed like forever. If that WERE my pizza...I would have been concerned. We barely touched what we ordered as we weren't that thrilled with it. The staff: just ok. Friendly. A little spacey (we were told they were setting up a table for us outside, then they sat someone else there and we got stuck sitting at the bar). Not necessarily knowledgeable (asked the bartender for Patron shots, chilled, she basically shook them half to death then served us watered down shots in a lowball glass. Thank god I asked for my dirty ice...half my shot was in that shaker). I saw they have DJ's at night, so maybe the place gets hopping a bit - but when I was there it was day time and it was a solid ratio of 75% elderly drunk regulars and 25% not-elderly-drunk-regulars. It was a little weird. Long story short: would I come back to have cocktails outside because it's my only option...yes. BUT: RIGHT NEXT DOOR offers food, and BEER outside - and that's where we ended up going after...and probably where I'll end up going again unless I'm in absolute desperate need for Patron....which is never.

First off, a big thank-you to Rose, the manager , for helping us download an old picture of Revere from another customer's phone - she went wayyyyy out of her way because neither one of us knew what we were doing! Bartenders pour a great drink , and we always end up in conversation with either staff or others at the bar! A gem on the beach!

This place is lucky to even get a one star. SERVICE FROM BLOND OWNER/MANAGER SUCKED!! Ordered a vegetable pizza with hot peppers and broccoli. Pizza comes out without broccoli and without hot peppers. Manager / owner says we don't serve broccoli (nasty attitude). She gives us hot peppers on the side. I asked can you put the hot peppers on top and why am I seeing a broccoli pizza here on the menu. Manager/owner a Brigitte Nielsen wanna be but much, much uglier says that's not broccoli it is broccoli robbi with a very rude attitude in a smirk on her face. Then I told her just forget about my order is she takes the pizza in started talking with her staff pointing and laughing. My friend that I was with ordered a side of vegetable melody that had guess what broccoli. First off, with her running this place she believes in ZERO customer service. She is taking this place for granted because it's on the beach drenched with tourist and great location. If you're into good food maybe come however if you're into good customer service absolutely, absolutely without a doubt DO NOT come here because she will ruin your appetite.

First time here and I had a relatively great experience last Thursday night. I tried to pump myself up for the Season 5 premiere of Jersey Shore and thought it would have been appropriate to find a nice authentic pizza place on the Shore! (North Shore, that is!) I chose the Saucice (homemade sausage) and I was pleasantly impressed. Thin crust pizza with a delightful amount of sausage. (That's what she said!) No, seriously, it was great. My pizza wasn't an oil slick like most pizzas are. I also paired it with a Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon. Dinner by candle light is always a plus. I couldn't stop giggling after realizing that the live DJ didn't really match his music to the dim lit ambiance. But, who really cares? The food is great and prompt. Hot and delicious. The pumpkin cheesecake that I had ordered disappeared too quickly, too. Find yourself here and be fulfilled!

Yikes. Okay, where to begin with this train wreck of an establishment. First, I walked in to VERY loud and obnoxious music. The place was dead, so I'm not sure who was really being entertained by this. I sat at the bar, and a rude decrepit woman approaches me and asks for my ID. She told me my ID seemed fake. Im well over 21, so my ID is not fake. Besides, I ordered a beer anyway! Fine. I finish my beer and ask for a long island iced tea. This was probably the worst long island iced tea ever. I could have scooped up water from Revere Beach and splashed pepsi into it and it would've tasted better. Terrible. I waited for my check for what seemed like an eternity, and when Bertha the Bartender finally came back with my check, she charged me for two long islands. I didn't even bring it to her attention. I subtracted the amount of one of them off the bill, and left exactly that amount. Horrid.

We felt so strongly about the poor service at Renzo that I decided to finally leave a review on yelp. We waited FOREVER for our waiter to take our order and refill our water (no worries it was only NINTY FIVE degrees today). Being Independence Day it wasn't too busy, there was really no reason for the terribly slow service. When he finally did come around we had to ask for a drink menu and then our margarita and Long Island were served with soda water mixed in, they were so bad. The food was mediocre. One of us got a Caesar salad pizza and it was literally a slab of dough baked, then a salad thrown on top. The whole experience was just so poor! We highly suggest our server find his true calling because serving isn't it. Think twice before going here!

I wish I could write a review about the food served here- it's a restaurant, so why wouldn't I write about the food? Well, the food didn't stand out. It was a little pricey, but good. If you come to this place, you shouldn't have any other plans for the night. You should probably have a few drinks elsewhere, and maybe a bite to eat as well. You'll wander in off the street and stand near the front door. Everyone will ignore you. There is no sign that says "Please Wait to Be Seated", "Please Seat Yourself", or "Begone from here Foul Creature". You'll wait an uncomfortable amount of time while servers/hostesses/bartenders put their heads in the sand and pretend you are invisible, though you're now clogging the pathways and will probably be in the way. You'll end up seating yourself. We did this, and continued to be ignored. I was near a pile of menus, so I figured I'd get ready to order and grabbed a few. The server came over and took our drink order- no welcome, introduction. She could have been a robot for all the personality shown. She dropped off our drinks after quite a delay, and took our order. We finished our drinks, and a runner brought over our pizzas and salads. They were actually very good. Now we have no drinks- my visibly pregnant wife has 3 empty water glasses in front of her (I gave her mine, and her friend gave up her water as well), as everyone in our party is now 3/4's of the way through the meal. I go to the bar and ask for 2 beers and a water. The bridge troll behind the bar asks if I'm at a table, and I flash some cash, and repeat my order. She gives me the beers, and then yells over to our server to bring over water. I'm giving you CASH MONEY- GIVE ME WHAT I ASK FOR!!! Our server sent over the hostess/food runner. This has taken enough time so everyone remaining at the table is now done with their meals. I had another piece of pizza, then went in search of a takeout box. I boxed up our food, and waited another 15 minutes to get our check. I was lucky enough to have the cash on me to take care of the bill. I wish I had tipped nothing, but threw down $5 on a $55 check. This building was not even half full, and this started at 6:00 on a Friday night- not even a busy time for them. Will not be back. I started out the evening happy and kind, worked my way down to polite, and left stunned and After perusing some other reviews, the culprits are not hard to spot- the hostess looks like Birgitte Nielson on a light makeup day. There is a witch hag behind the bar. The comments I saw were spot on- they keep bringing back the same servers to treat everyone badly. Avoid this dump. They don't care how good of a time you had- the Keno lady, servers, waitstaff, bartenders, bouncers... no one will help you, or be even close to polite/kind.

Food was pretty good. Thought the portion size was pretty flimsy, though the quality of the food was good. The service was extremely slow and for a party of 8, we were jammed in the corner. The place is better for couples and those that want to sit on the bar or in the outdoor area. Prices were reasonable too. In the end, if I want Italian, I'm headed down the street to Antonia's on the Beach. If I want pizza, I'm headed to Bianchi's, also right down the beach.

Came here with one of my friends for a dinner and drinks. We got the spinach artichoke dip which wasn't all that impressive. However, we got a spinach, mozerella white sauce pizza which was amazingly delicious. I live less than a block away from here and I'm sure any night I need to grab a pizza I will come here first!

We walked in a server told us they would seat us, so we waited a couple of minutes and we asked to sit at a 4 top just inside the open front and we were told all of those tables were reserved so we opted to sit outside and they pushed 2 round 2 tops together for us. we ordered our drinks my wife and I had frozen daiquiris and my sons ordered ginger ale and a strawberry smoothy and he didn't like it so they brought him a ginger ale as well. Server was very nice though you could tell she was new to the serving and untrained. the restaurant was maybe a third full with a couple of large groups about 6 to 8 people celebrating fathers day. we ordered our food at 11:39 (it was on the check) I ordered 3 eggs scrambled with 2 orders white toast and was informed they don't have toast so I changed to arancini, My wife ordered their omelet of the day and we ordered cheese sticks and fries for the boys. about 10 minutes later my arancini came out and it was good, another 20 minutes went by and no server, when she came over I asked about our food and she said "its our first day with the brunch menu so the kitchen is backed up but I think they are finishing yours up" at 12:50 I called her over and asked for the check for our drinks and arancini and it took another 10 minutes for the check. when the check came I told the server that if the kitchen is really backed up to where it takes more than an hour for eggs and french fries the kitchen staff shouldn't take so many smoke breaks in the front of the restaurant. oh and the tables we asked to sit at, 2 out of the 3 were never sat. A woman who appeared to be a manager or an owner walked by a few times but never came to our table. Being in the hospitality industry its sad to see a nice looking establishment not care for their guests

Visited Renzo after being away for awhile and now I know why. At one time, they made one the best coal fired chicken dishes around. I ordered this for lunch and was greatly disappointed. Hardly coal fired roasted, in fact, tasted more like boiled with a myriad of odd seasonings and then oven cooked. This dish was not edible and extremely dry. I did not eat it and told the waitress to which her reply was...sorry! This happened once before, but we gave them a second chance. Third time is not a charm for me. Overpriced with dirty restrooms. Good for drinks and views of the ocean! Hope pizza is still good.

Horrible. Went here with my boyfriend one night and ordered chicken parm. For 16 bucks I got a fried chicken patty with a tiny bit of sauce and cheese. When I asked for some more marinara on the side I was given a cup of cold marinara! It looks nice from the street and since revere beach has no nice outdoor restaurants people like myself get sucked in

I went to Renzo's on Tuesday after work with a friend. we sat at the bar facing out towards Revere Beach, looking out onto a gorgeous view of the beach - I was in heaven already! there are patio tables outside but I have heard you can't drink out there. the place is very casual but very well put together, nice tables in the restaurant area, also with a view of the beach. Behind the bar you can watch the guy tossing up homemade dough for the brick oven pizzas they cook right in front of you - I wish I would have had my camera --- I ordered chardonnay, a caesar salad, and the 'shell special' which was 1/2 steamed clams/1/2 mussels, accompanied by drawn butter and a big honkin homemade breadstick. They had run out of anchovies for my Caesar salad, but the dressing had anchovy paste in it so I was happy. Love anchovies! My friend Sandy had Lobster Fra D'avelo and she loved it. the bartender was very nice and also my favorite bartender from the 99 Restaurant in Revere just started working at Renzo's - her name is Paulina! It was great to see her at Renzo's. I had a great experience at Renzo's and I will be going back soon - the place, the view, the music, the friendly staff, and ambience deserves the best rating - 5 stars!!

Up front: I don't know what the state of this place is in the summer. We went in maybe May -- all I know is that it was fairly cold walking by the beach at dusk. Lots of people, with tables incredibly close to each other to make room for the ridiculously large bar and stage with the fake Elvis. Who is really loud, by the way. I hear that he's only there on weekends. It was pretty slammed, so we waited on food for maybe half an hour or 45 minutes. About as long as it takes to make a pizza and cook it in a brick oven, shockingly. Friends' pizza and pasta came out a few minutes before mine, but I'd rather everyone's food be warm and get it at slightly different times. Charging for soda refills is superbly ass-tastic. As both my friend and myself know from having worked in restaurants, you make incredible profit on soda in the first place, particularly with a glass packed full of ice. Like 1000% profit. Do it once and give me free refills if I'm going to be waiting for my food, please. On the plus side, and for the 3 stars and the "I'd go back again", I ate my entire white pizza. Which is something I never do. So there's that.

Don't even bother with this place. Just left after sitting at the bar for 15 minutes. Told 3 people behind the bar we'd like order drinks. No response. Three people working behind the bar on a quiet day and no service. What a waste. (Ended up going to Antonio's up the beach - all good there.)

The pizza was delicious, the bolognese sauce on the pasta was tasty, and they had an Elvisey guy singing Elvisey songs live. So that was awesome. Awesome, that is, until the bill came and we discovered that we were charged for soda refills. What the crap? If I'm paying $2.50 for a fountain coca cola, charging me another $2.50 to refill it is unacceptable.

This place may have jumped the shark. The last two times we have visited, the service was horrendous. On our last visit they were still "training" wait staff. They had had a recent kitchen fire (instills customer confidence) and the only available items were pizza and salad. Fine with us. After getting our pizza, the table next to us were informed they would be getting the "last pizza" as they were out of dough as well! This after comping an entire meal for two at the table on the other side of us! Add in a new "valet" (read shakedown) service and this place drops in value. It may be ok during the week (if they get the gas situation squared away and the kitchen doesn't explode.) but I will be looking for a different venue in which to drop my bucks. I highly suggest you do the same.

Just ok. For the atmosphere I would give it 4 stars. They had the doors open to the outdoor seating area, so there was a nice breeze coming in from the water, and we really enjoyed the live music on a Saturday night. They also have off-street parking. But other than that our experience went downhill. Fast. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks, a calamari appetizer and a margherita pizza to share. 35 seconds after we ordered, a food runner came and gave us our pizza. The couple next to us said, "Um, didn't you JUST order that??" Puzzled, we flagged down the bartender and she took it away and gave it to another party across the bar. Fine. Then we see the same food runner 5 minutes later give a shade-tastic group of 3 opposite us at the bar a calamari appetizer. We got suspicious. 25 minutes later we were still calamari-less. When my husband asked the bartender what was going on, she literally shrugged at him and walked away. A few minutes later our calamari came out, promptly followed by our pizza a minute later. It was BEYOND annoying. Clearly our food was given away by a food runner who doesn't know what he's doing, and instead of apologizing to us when the bartender realized what happened, she just rang up another calamari so our food all came out at the same time. Now, all of us could have been forgiven had the food been good. It wasn't. The calamari was average and I've had better margherita pizza at Bertucci's. We might come back here for drinks because that's hard to mess up, but I wouldn't spend my money on the food or the annoying experience trying to get it.

Went back a second time. The "vocalist" other yelpers mentioned was there this time. And he is really tedious to listen to and really loud. My guess, he's related to the owner. I ordered a pizza, other two in my party ordered entrees. My pizza came out after about 5 minutes, charred. Entrees came out after about 20 minutes. I would have preferred to have a bit better timing so I could eat with my family. On the plus side, the two entrees were quite good, I had samples of both. So, the timing was a drag, but it was the singer who necessitated that I remove one star from my previous review.

I have tried this place a few times....mainly because it's very close to where I used to live. Every single time I went.....whether it was noon or dinner time, there was a random fake elvis "DJ" playing absurdly loud, 70s disco music. Dont get me wrong, it was hilarious...but it's a brick oven pizzeria. Wasn't expecting it. One time there was a playoff game on and several people asked for the television volumn to be turned up or if Elvis can chill out for a minute. The manager refused. A whole group of people left confused. The food is meh overall, but pizza is good. If you like Elvis impersonators...this place is for you.

We've been here several times. The pizza is good, we like the thin crust. There is always an odd selection of patrons, but it is Revere! The place seems to employ family members who REALLY give the impression they don't want to be there. The service is slow and boarders on rude. Is it really that hard to smile and appreciate your customers? We have crossed this place of our list due to the slow and unfriendly service but even more so because of the REALLY,REALLY HORRIBLE DJ's that can't sing and seem to think they have to turn up the volume loud enough to be heard in Boston. Seriously, who's mother is that talentless woman and is it her son the is "Elvis?" Loose the "entertainment" and we might be back!

The pizza is good. Average price ($14) for a large gourmet brick-oven. The front opens up to a view of the ocean. The decor is sub-par, feels a little dated, but good overall. Not enough servers though, ours was so swamped he only checked on us twice in an hour. I would recommend giving it a try, mainly because of the proximity to the beach/oceanfront view and decide for yourself.

  • Jessica S.

This is a pizza place and the pizza is good. Stick with what they do best. The view is very nice as well. BUT, my husband's Philly Cheese Steak had liquid, melted plastic cheese drooled over it, the bathrooms are dated and (worse) dirty and lacking supplies, and the bartending service is mixed ... there were two, one of which was non-existent and the other who was very good. Yes, I'd try it again but I'd stick to pizza and apps for sure.

Staff was rather unfriendly. After standing the door for about 5 minutes some some miserable looking lady seated us without saying so much as hello. Ordered a few drinks which came out about 10 minutes later. The second I went take a sip of my water as we water the smell from the glass was awful. Literally smelled like vomit in the cup. The server said they must have cleaned the glass with a dirty rag....gee ya think. Nobody else at the table drank anything. We got up and left with no appetites. Wouldnt go back if it was the last place on earth.

We went here randomly today bc that's where we found parking for our car. We almost didn't go in bc of all the terrible reviews, but we decided to try it anyway. The service was great! We had no issues, unlike other reviewers. Our server was attentive, friendly and honest. We ordered the broccoli rabe pizza, and the the Renzo burger. Both were delicious. The burger was huge, but good enough that one of our friends got a second one! The crust on the pizza was thin, crispy and tasty. If your looking for a NY style pizza, this is not your place. In terms of the ambiance- they have beach front, outdoor seating with doors that open outside-- this makes for perfect people watching. There was also a guitarist playing who was great. All in all, a great experience!

This place cracks me up. It's pretty much the only bar on the beach with open windows, so the crowd is all over the place but skews on the older side, and a mix of total tourists and total townies leads to an interesting atmosphere. Their drink list is not my favorite: they use paper coffee mugs (literally) for any beer that's served outside on their small patio (glass inside at least), the beer list isn't the greatest, and the cocktails are more on the rum&coke and blender daquiri side. Food is decent though: we were given free samples once of their white pizza (they have a kick-ass pizza oven), and we thought it was gonna be really bland but it was actually pretty delicious. Atmosphere-wise, it's all over the place- sometimes it's more chill with people hanging out quietly playing keno, and sometimes they have a DJ playing very loud 70s music at 2 PM on a Saturday afternoon. Sometimes you get a friendly and attentive bartender, and sometimes you get a salty old barmaid. Just go in with low expectations, enjoy the beach view and open windows, and you'll be fine.

This is a nice place for friends to hang. Located right on the strip on revere. Bar with a Dj spinning disco tunes, which was a little loud, but when we asked to turn down the volume they did right away. Service was mediocre but good enough. The age range here is mostly 40 plus, blue coat people. The food here is great though. Seafood chowder tops legal seafoods any day. Fish and chips were moist. Lobster rolls were fresh and sweet like they should be. And the burgers here are thick and juicy, very well prepared. The pizza here also is very nice. Good ingredients and a very nice oven. Overall, would recommend for people in the area.

I really like the pizza here and I love the view but there is just too much wrong with this place. I ordered 2 large pizzas. The waiter didn't seem to understand what I was saying. When we got the 2 pizzas, they seemed like average large pizzas - the type you'd get at any pizza place. But instead of being charged $13 as stated on the menu, we were charged $18/pizza for the extra-large price. I had no idea. It was definitely not worth almost $40. The waiter seemed very overwhelmed and was never around. When I asked about the charge, he said we got a large pizza upcharge. Ridiculous. We won't be back.

I really, really would like to love this place. I live a short walk away from Renzo's and enjoy the quirkiness of the people who go to the place as customers. It tends to be an older crowd, 30's and up. Over the past few years, I've had countless negative experiences at after entering this restaurant. Most of them boil down to inept service and the unfortunate attitude of the blonde manager. Whenever I'm in the place, whether it's busy or almost empty, it seems like a good candidate for one of those reality shows that rescues struggling bars and restaurants. I don't really know why I keep giving it a chance (probably proximity), but I would not recommend this place unless you are willing to wait 30min/45min/1hr until the next time that you see your server.

PURE DISGUST. THE BLONDE WOMAN WAS RUDE AND TURNED DOWN MY MONEY. Since the sign read "restrooms for patrons only", I offered to purchase a soda so my 8yr old could use the restroom. Her response, "there's a public restroom next door". Their door also read "restrooms for patrons only" but at least they had enough decency to allow a child to use the restroom. We live in Boston and our family frequents revere beach. We have always thought about trying this restaurant, but now, you couldn't pay me to go near this place. That blonde woman is cold and heartless.

Still sitting in the restaurant and I'm writing this review...I couldn't wait until I leave to write about this horrible customer service. The 'blonde' manager is SUPER RUDE! My friend ordered a burger and asked for a well done burger. Obviously when he got closer to the center is was really under done. We told this to the manager and her response was "well you are a good amount of it as is" Of course! How else would you realize it until you get closer to the center. But a good note their Caprese Salad is good. Just horrible customer service from this woman. Never coming back.

The food was good, but they way the business is run... Not so much. There are a few huge chalkboards on the wall with specials on them. My friend noticed that Monday was buy 1 get 1 free appetizers ... Perfect - we got 2 choices from the appetizer section - mussels and asparagus wrapped in prosciutto... We also shared a small pizza. It was all tasty. We were charged for both apps so I brought it to the attention to the blonde woman who seemed to be in charge. First she said that holidays aren't included in the special ...ok, but it's not a holiday... Next she told me that the deals were on a special menu that we didn't receive. She picked some laminated sheet waved it in the air, but I didn't have the chance to read it... Finally she told me that even though the mussels are on the appetizer page they are actually an entree...GIVE ME A BREAK! I don't go places looking for handouts, but if there is a deal written 6 feet tall across the wall I expect it to be honored .... Oh and I won't forget to mention the menu had the mussels listed at "market price" they charged $19.50 for them... I feel the standard price for an appetizer of mussels is $10-$12 tops & this was an appetizer by anyone's standards. The food was good, but I'm sorry to say I won't be back after being treated like a sucker.

  • Rachael T.

I don't know how this place still survives with that horrible blonde manager. She is a miserable person who should not be in the service industry. I won't ever go back and it's 100% because of her. You would think she would read her yelp reviews that are all negative and directed solely at her, but she clearly isn't concerned about her customers. Avoid this place at all costs. The food is mediocre at best and the bartenders are incompetent stay at home moms who have been offered their first job ever in their life just because they know the grease headed blonde.

Came here tonight on a date night. It was really busy the service was terrible there was 1 server and a blonde woman who was helping him. The food was really good the 4 of us split quesadillas, wings, margherita pizza and the refa pizza everything was delicious. For dessert it was a brownie marshmallow which was awesome. I was the only one who got a moijito didnt look great but it was the other 3 had beers. There was a singer there but considering how small the place was she was way to loud. It took awhile to get drinks, our 1 appetizer came out right after our dinner and the second one at the end of our meal. The food was really good if you can deal with the service.

Service was kind of clueless- the waitress kept trying to take food away before it was finished and in one case actually did. The Beach Blowjob shot was good, and the calamari was decent although small. The pizza was woefully dry and almost entirely tasteless. We had the broccoli rabe and sausage--a very small amount of both. Disappointing.

Ordered a salad.. A bit expensive (20) but we delicious. Restaurant was very loud (live music) didn't like it much.. Didn't get the best service from our waiter (never asked how the food was) (didn't refill drinks). Managing staff seemed unprofessional as well.

First of all the yelper who referred to the manager as a bizarro Cruella Deville nailed it. I gave this one star for the gross part of our dining experience (see end of review) The food here is decent. I'd give it 3 stars....I had pizza and a beer and some calamari. All great....but the service was so lacking. We sat at the bar for about 10 minutes before we got a drink. Another 15 before we ordered. Food came out reasonably quickly but that's because there were no people in the restaurant....but my friend didn't ever get the side salad she ordered and was charged for. then when we wanted to pay for out bill, it was another 20 minutes with our cards in the bar, there were maybe 10 people MAYBE sitting at the bar. THE GROSS PART: the bartender claimed to have allergies, although she could barely open one eye and it was all red and draining and looked like pink eye. She had a tissue in her hand for her eye and nose THE WHOLE TIME. and there were no hand washing sinks or hand sanitizer in the bar service area. Fortunately she only handled our drinks and our credit cards because The manager did all of the food running. I am just so grossed out anyone who touches their runny nose or drippy eye and THEN SERVES PEOPLE. gross. gross. gross.

  • John W.

I also thought the manager could have been a little more friendlier but who knows what's up. I decided to give her grace and move on...life is short. Pizza was good....food wasn't bad. My friends Italian Coffee took forever to come though... I would go again. Again the manager could have been a little kinder but who knows the battles she is fighting.

This place has a great location but that's about it. Staff are nice but could use more training on how to expedite orders and get checks out to tables for people who have finished their meal and want to leave. It took way too long to get the check even after asking for it a few times. Food was pretty good but the portion for the artichoke dip was substandard not even filling half the bowl it came in. Three hungry people were not happy to have this be the first experience at Renzo's. The tall blonde lady runs the place well but needs to light a fire under the staff and get them on point. Unfortunately if staff are laxed then that fault goes on the shoulders of the manager and/or owner. Too many people on Yelp calling her names. Not cool fellow Yelpers. I don't think you would appreciate her coming to your job and calling you names SO STOP IT! Let's be grownups on here and give clear, honest and polite reviews. Save that other silliness for Facebook.

I've been here a few times and the food and service have always been good. Most recently, I stopped in on Sunday afternoon for some wings. The wings are not buffalo wings, so they are not spicy, which I like. They are good size and juicy. I recommend them. I got a pizza for the road. I think it was called Mario's Love, but in short, it's the meatlovers pizza with pepperoni, prosciutto, chicken, and a couple other meats I can't remember. It was good, but I think next time I would skip the chicken. It was cooked fine, but taste-wise it just wasn't a fit for me. The bartender was Kelly, and she was friendly, knew the menu, and was able to make a suggestion on what pizza to get. She kept the bar clean and was attentive the the customers. I see some comments about the management, and my experience is different. Keep in mind I am making an assumption as to who the manager is, because I've never been introduced. But there is a woman there who seems to be in charge. On one occassion she noticed me and a friend asking the bartender about the dessert menu. We ultimately decided we were too full to order, but to our suprise the manager had overheard and she sent over two desserts for us on the house just to sample. One was a mousse (chocolate and raspberry, I think) and the other was a deconstrcuted s'more type dessert. Both were delicious! Lesson learned: leave room for dessert next time. Atmosphere here is pretty cool. Most times I'm there on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, and there is usually a dj playing some oldies..Frank Sinatra type era. The music is great, and there are customers of all ages there enjoying it. I don't know what the atmosphere is like during the week. I'm definitely a fan of Renzo, both the food and the staff. You should give it a shot.

I came here hoping to enjoy a pizza and drink with some friends. But the hostess (blonde woman) or what seems to be the manager told us the wait time was going to be an hour and a half. Yet right in front of me, there were three empty tables! No lines at all. The timing seemed very unreasonable and too long for a place like this, I felt un-welcomed and very uncomfortable.

Decent food. Absolutely terrible service. The waitress completely disappeared for a half hour then walked by us, noticed that we were clearly done and just kept walking after making eye contact with me. She then disappeared for at least another 20 minutes. I asked the waitress to send the owner over and she never came over. Tried to complain to the owner after cornering her and she made it very clear that she could not care less about a report of poor service. I also got the distinct impression that if I did not bear a strong resemblance to an angry state trooper, the owner would have told me to get lost or suck her bouncer on me. We eat out 100 nights a year and have NEVER had such terrible service. 15% is the lowest tip I have ever left in my life and on this night I left no tip. Trust the many negative reviews for bad service and an incompetent, unimpressive and miserable owner.

Overpriced beach pizza. The matrix lady with blonde hair is also pretty rude and always giving these creepy glares. I would prob skip this joint and try another place on revere beach. Would give ZERO stars if I could. Starts at the top with that washed-up dishrag of an over-bleached blond who seems to run the show. Thinks she's all that, but wears the same 1980's outfit every night. Actually pushes people out of her way while she is bombing through the place on her way to doing absolutely NOTHING. White trash, classless excuse for a woman. Place is supposedly hers but is probably fronted by dirty money. FOOD SUCKS, SERVICE SUCKS, BLOND IS A DISHRAG.

I've been coming here for years because of the location and their awesome pizza; however, I recently stopped going. The service is so slow, especially at the bar, and the blonde woman makes you feel like you're being a pain because you want to eat in her restaurant. Last time we ate here, the server ordered us the wrong pizza. We were hungry but we understand mistakes happen. Rather than giving us a free desert or drink, she added an extra soda on my bill AFTER I gave her my debit card! I would have said something to management, but anyone that knows "Brigitte Nielsen", knows she would not have done anything. What a terrible way to run a business.

I will start off by saying I never do this but I went in to here today and was greeted by the rude blonde woman others are also complaining about. She told us the 2 seats we sat at were taken and being saved with someone's cell phone (there was no cell phone). She said it with attitude like we were dumb for not seeing it. Thinking it was a fluke we walked to another section of the bar and she rudely said those seats were reserved. Long story short she sent us back to our original seats claiming someone moved down one even though no one had. We sat for 2 minutes before deciding to leave. That's not how to treat a customer and there was no way I would leave her a tip. I don't think it went unnoticed because another customer politely offered to move down but we were already heading to the seats she sent us to and didn't dare try a different one. I assume the food it good since the place was fairly full but I can say I will never be back due to that woman.

The food wasn't that bad! The manager is a witch. I got a sangria. The sangria tasted like a Mai tai, I asked the bartender why there was vodka in my sangria. She replied with no one likes it but the manager makes it so there is nothing I can do. We asked for another drink. The bartender went to the witch and the witch came over and said I will put wine in the sangria for an extra charge of 5$. I said no I'm not paying for extra wine. She walked away and the bartender came and apologized. We get the bill and she charged 17$ for a appetizer we didn't order. Again we called the bartender over and she said the manager did it BY ACCIDENT. At this point my boyfriend was mad and started yelling. The manager walked into the kitchen and wouldn't show her face. She is pathetic, stay away!

This is by far my favorite pizza place! The pizza is cooked to perfection!!! The "blond owner" people are complaining about has always been incredibly nice to us & we've never had a problem with her. She usually goes above & beyond to fine us "that perfect seat" Food has always been great & I've never had a problem here, even when they are really busy!

Woah... hearing a lot of noise about how bad the service was at Renzo's- I couldn't disagree more! Our waitress was a lethal angel on the restaurant floor- relentlessly efficient yet outrageously friendly. We received our breadsticks, caesar salad, and pipin' hot brick oven pizza in rapid succession. We shared a personal pizza and had enough left over to nibble on for days like two little mice nibbling on a delicious block of cheese! Furthermore, our meal was spiced up not just by the red pepper flakes provided GRATIS by our waitress, but the live music! Though we might have forgotten the name of the performer, we will never forget his rendition of Frank Sinatra's Strangers in the Night.

Very nice atmosphere, however do not be fooled. Went on a Friday night. Packed inside. Sat at the bar with a friend. Got drinks right away. Had to get the bartender's attention to order food. Service was extremely slow. I ordered a burger, friend ordered the calamari appetizer. We must have waited 15 minutes. My burger finally came out, warm. So it has been sitting. Calamari did not come out. Waited a few more minutes. Finally got the bartender's attention. After a few MORE minutes, it was brought out. It was cold. We got their attention again. They asked if we wanted the dish again, we said yes. We waited another ten minutes. I could see the new dish by the pickup area. No one was getting it. I could see the owner / manager lady (short blonde hair), she was too busy counting cash instead of noticing not only us but others were growing impatient. Calamari finally came out. It was meh. Burger was not good. Recommending to avoid! Even our bartender, who was very nice, was telling us the kitchen was a complete mess. You could see how the servers were confused every time they were picking up food.

If only the management would be a bit nicer this place would be great. The atmosphere is not welcoming at all.

Owner/hostess was just out right rude. My friend and I were extremely disrespected by her. I felt guilty for even asking for a table and then she lied about having an available table open... She walked by several times giving us dirty looks and said sarcastic remarks. Just spend your money somewhere else. Her presence alone gave me anxiety and I would never go back again.

The service here is fine. The management, however, couldn't be less polite. A blonde woman runs the place that goes out of her way to make the customers feel uncomfortable. I've been here three times now. The food is good and the setting is great. The atmosphere is ruined by the blonde owner. She's horrible

Having a great meal on the beach in Revere! The asparagus appetizer was delicious and the tomato soup is very good. We both ordered fish- salmon and haddock and it was prepared well and the vegetable were fresh and crisp. The waitress was excellent and looked great in her Halloween costume! Next time I want to try their wood grilled pizzas.

The blonde manager has zero people skills. She treated us like we were an inconvenience because we wanted to eat there. The servers are incompetent, probably because they work for a total witch. We waited ten minutes for a table or for anyone to acknowledge us at the door. The Witch Lady came and told us she couldn't give us a seat when though there were several empty tables. She treated us so badly that we just left. I would rather starve than give my money to her.

Trashy atmosphere....people.....and food. Pizzas tasted microwaved....artichoke spinach dip half full like left over from another table.....flat soda with a couple ice cubes floating on the top......just downright gross. AVOID.

I feel bad writing this because the place looks great and is a great location on the beach. However, the staff there are very rude and talk about tables in front of other customers at the bar. The bartenders ignore you unless your a regular customer and seem to roll their eyes when they finally take their order. For the pricing of the food, they best beef up their customer service and make people WANT to come back. The live singer even came up and said hello but the staff couldn't be bothered, he doesn't even work there! ha

Food and service were good (not great). Nevertheless, Renzo is one of the best places for food and drink on Revere Beach. I'll be back.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
