Cordon Bleu cooking? No. A great cheap breakfast that is hot and fast and CHEAP? Yes. Never done takeout - why anyone would order takeout from the Bottle astounds me. Never done the ice cream. The ice cream stand is always busy during the summer so it must be ok. Only thing we get is the awesome breakfasts on our way out of Cape Cod at the end of the trip. It's a family tradition, and eating at the "milk bottle" is part of the trip. As are the pictures afterward to chart how much they have grown from the summer before. The sign on the wall says "Beware of the Waitress" but don't believe it. They are all nice. Not "fake nice" like in a chain, but competent, they keep up with the coffee and beverages, and are down to earth real people. It's consistently busy, and the tables are always bussed regularly and turnover is pretty quick. It's a place to get in, get some decent food, and move on with your life. Bonus? Clean bathrooms. Nothing fancy, it's just a little room with a toilet and a sink but I've never seen it NOT clean. And I'm a nurse, so I am picky about bathrooms.

Food: Decent to good. Typical diner food with a couple of twists here & there, but nothing special. We had the linguica sandwich, club, & Bottle burger all of which were ok. Servers were very nice, but the service itself was a little scattered. The most special thing about the place is the building. For me, that made it worth the trip. I'd go back, but I can't say I'd go out of my way.

Love it here. Service is great. Coffee is the best. Food is so good. Don't get frustrated if there is a line to get in. It moves fast and u will be sitting in no time at all.

Well, you can't miss it. The Milk Jug is one. A big one. Nestled beneath a towering milk jug replica is a humble breakfast place that seems to draw locals from three counties around. The place is awash in floury pancakes, runny eggs, charry bacon and gritty coffee. All being consumed by the progenitors of little leaguers and preteens in a roughly 3:1 ratio. An OK place if you have a lot of guests in town and don't have the materials or will on hand to make your own food in the morning. Be prepared to wait and pay a few bucks more than you expected.

Ive come here for years and all I will eat here is breakfast! First off, the design of the building is better than a square building anyday! The breakfast has been delicious, and is especially a treat when I the previous night was full of drinking. 2 people can easly to served and have a full breakfast with just a $20 including the tip. The breakfast sandwiches and home fries are my personal fav. The sandwiches are greasy and filling and the homefries are delicious. If I am eating pancakes, an omlette or a sandwich, I will always get the homefries! Breakfast staff is the usual, since I come during breakfast, its always hectic and sometimes the wait is long. I wouldnt suggest for large groups since most of the tables are only going to fit 4 and 6 would be a stretch. Overall delicious and Im sure in the next month I'll be bringing my $20 bill ready to eat!

I had lunch here recently with my Grandfather. We arrived at the location closer to closing time that I would normally have liked, but the staff was just as welcoming as they would have been at opening. The service was attentive, quick, and refreshing. The food was made quickly, and the portions were impressive. My sandwich was rather delicious, stuffed full of tasty ham, and the fries were unbeatable. I hear they serve a mean breakfast and I plan to make it out there for it one of these days, so stay tuned! Oh, and if you are interested in classic cars, they often have quite a few of them in the lot. I believe they hold classic car events there occasionally, might be worth asking the staff about.

This place was pretty good. If u want a decent cheap breakfast than this is the place. Service was ok. More like 3.5 instead of a 3.

Best breakfast ever. In the area to visit some friends and were early, so we stopped at the first place we came to. Friendly waitstaff. Great prices and the food was really good. "Fast, friendly, yummy" as my wife put it. The pancake was the size of the plate, the sausage side was two large patties and the side of hash was a heaping side plate filled. Wish I lived nearby to go there every weekend for breakfast.

went here for breakfast... had to SPIT OUT the home fries, EWW... my western omelet was "edible", grilled english was ok also.. waitresses were nice.. my husband didnt even bother with his pancakes bc he already knew how gross they would be, so he got a BLT, cant mess that up right? he said it was OK, not great ... came with some more GROSS home fries... tasted like they used bad potatoes, and I'm not one for spitting food out in public.. wouldn't come back -- stick to a chain restaurant like ihop, at least they wont serve you food thats gone bad.

I've had many Sunday breakfasts here. The food is consistently good, service is attentive, and prices more than fair. Highly recommended.

Tasteless pancakes, cash only. There was no flavor to anything my family ordered, but of particular note, the chewy flavorless pancakes were startling. I thought it impossible for such a thing to exist because a little buttermilk and vanilla go a long way. I am pretty confident that these were made from flour, guar gum and water. Very disappointing considering we waited 6-7 months between visits in case the cook had an off day. Apparently not. We will not be returning.

Friendly staff, quick service but found my eggs to be very rubbery and tasteless. Won't be back.

Been eating here for years. Great place to eat, breakfast is always good and they have daily lunch specials. They have an ice cream window and a patio. Also they serve beer

I've stopped going to the milk bottle because well its just not that good. I can make a better breakfast at home. And they don't accept debit or credit. I think its just a blah breakfast. Its somewhat pricey...I really wish they would redo the menu and freshen the place up a bit. The milk bottle building is always a draw for the kids (they really think its full) but I just drive by and go to Mel's or Friendly's.

The food has always been mediocre here. Nothing special, but nothing bad either. Just your average food that anyone could prepare for themselves at home. If it weren't for the awful service I would have given them three stars for their food. The only real highlight of this place is the building, and that's just "cool" from the outside. When you enter the building you can't even tell you are in the milk bottle. The room is small, outdated, and could definitely use a facelift. I've eaten here many times, and the the service is always bad, but this last visit was the worst (& it was for take-out, how do you screw that up?! lol). The staff always seems to have an attitude, but my last visit was the worst!!! I ordered one breakfast to-go: Scrambled eggs with cheese, toast and home-fries. When I got home and opened the box I was completely grossed out. A fork, knife, napkin, 5 ketchup packets, and paper salt and pepper packets were thrown directly on top of my food. My food was blended in and mixed around with all of this dirty, hand touched, exposed to the world for who knows how long, goodness. Hungry? I think not. So, I called. I honestly hate complaining, but cummmon. When I explained what happened to the girl that answered she was clearly mad, and said "honestly, I don't see what the big deal is, I would eat it", and proceeded to tell me that "she didn't have time to argue with me", and then told me to "screw off". REALLY!? I will never come back here again. Gross experience, and and more gross service. Mel's diner is across the street. Save your self some aggravation and eat there instead.

When I was a wee lass, my Daddy would take me here before Tae Kwon Do class with Mr. Lima across the street. And maybe I'm just being nostalgic, but the food was always really tasty. Nowadays, the food is still really delish, but the wait times - especially on weekends - are really loooooooonnnnnngggg.
