I came here to Port 305 last night for dinner, and if it weren't for the great company I had, I probably would have left this place fuming. I've been here several times before -- it's in a great location in the lovely Marina Bay, but this is the first time I can say I was truly disappointed by my experience here. The hostess who sat us was great, and we were seated right away. Our server came over fairly quickly to take our drink orders, and she brought out our drinks quickly, too. However, 15-20 minutes passed before she came back to our table to take our food orders. This is WAY too long. Strike one. Three of us ordered NE clam chowders, and as the server brought us our soups, the very first thing I noticed is that all three cups of clam chowder had almost an inch worth of space that had not been filled with soup. Essentially, we paid nearly $4 for cups of soup that weren't even entirely filled. WTH? This is a BIG strike two. Yada, yada, yada -- our entrees arrive. I ordered Port 305's Roasted Pear & Scallop Salad for a cool $18.90. What I received was a small, mediocre salad with very little actual greens. For an almost $19 salad, I expected to at least have some salad (read: greens, maybe one pear and one scallop) left over to take home. NOPE. Wrong. Since my soup wasn't even a full serving, and this salad was TINY, I ate the entire thing. For the price, this salad was not even close to worth it. Strike three, Port 305 -- you are OUT. Moving forward, I will not be recommending this place to others, and I most likely will not be back any time soon this summer.

Came in and waited 10 mins to be seated. Gave up on the wait and sat at the bar. This was my first time here. The scenery is beautiful you're looking out into the marina. As far as good goes we ordered chicken quas: pretty tasty and very much stuffed. Lobster roll: fresh and not heavy Steak tips: i like the marinade on this but was a little over cook for my pallette. Bloody mary: had the works.

Place on the water to grab drinks and people watch. There are other bars next door too. I don't know if I would come here for dinner, but it's a wonderful place if you are in the area!

Still very consistent. One of the great things about Quincy and South Shore in general these days is that you have so many options, with all the new ones popping up. I think Port 305 is doing an excellent job in managing the expectations and the crowds that throng Marina Bay - pretty much all year round, and especially during Summer time when it is super crazy busy, every day, for lunch and after work. And weekends can really get crazy. Went here the other day with the office crowd for lunch. Everything outside was packed given the gorgeous day. We managed to get a big table inside, with a fabulous view of the Boston Harbor, the marina and the skyline. (Again, another stellar point about this place - no matter where you are seated in the restaurant, you have great views!) I have to say our waiter was super awesome (dang I forgot his name!) He was juggling between a couple of tables and did an excellent job managing our table of 15 or so. Their food is very semi-traditional, American pub food with a good balance of seafood, and some international favorites. We started off with drinks and appetizers. Standouts: + Fried Calamari: What made this different from the traditional plate of fried calamari? Those yummy banana peppers. Simply Brilliant! + Chicken strips: This was a total surprise for me. Not a big fan on chicken tenders, but these were so moist, and I didn't know I could use melt in your mouth terminology for the same. It was that good. My platter of fried clams and clams belly was so so so good. The chef knows the art of frying for sure. Other words to describe: Crispy, Fresh, Non-greasy. I pretty much finished every last piece of fried batter left on my plate - it was that good (Confession!!). The asparagus as one of my 2 sides was also grilled to perfection. The amount of crunch you feel with every bite, and even when you cut the ends with your knife - that's an indication enough that you are getting some good grilled Asparagus. The Asian slaw definitely stole the show. So glad I got that and not any other side. The zesty flavors and minus the trace of cream of any sort - just what you want your summer side to be! Everyone around our table seemed to have enjoyed their main entrees. And it was quite good to see the variety of spread! Some of the positive comments from some of my coworkers: + Steak tips were to die for. + That was a massive, massive lobster roll. My expectations are really high the next time I have one (from a first time lobster roll eater) + Wow, that was huge for a personal pizza + Doesn't get any better than this plate of fried clams (another coworker who got the clams) Me: Sorry, i couldn't interview the others :) Great job indeed! There is a reason why this place is super packed every time I have been here. Shy of that one more star because - it seems like they need a few more people to handle the summer crowd! Else - please keep up the good work!

Great place, great service! Been here 2x. The food and view are great! Went for dinner and lunch before. Steak tip and the Buffalo chicken quesadilla are to die for! Waiter recommended it and I'm glad he did. Also recommended a green eye drink which of course was delicious. Dying to go back soon!

My wife and I went for the first time on Valentine's Day we had a very good meal. We will be back again soon! The service was very good and the prices were very good as well. We can't wait to sit out on the deck when the weather gets better and warmer

Came in to eat with my sister and husband and we were seated towards the back, which is fine. However, during our ENTIRE meal, we had to listen to one particular waitress complain LOUDLY about how mad she was that our waiter wouldn't switch shifts with her. She then went on to argue with him, with explitives, and several other waitresses during our dinner. I finally asked if they could do that in private, seeing as it was extremely unprofessional. She didn't like that. Our dinner was okay, some components of the meal were cold. We had to ask to get drink refills, probably because of the drama going on. Basically, I came for dinner, not dinner and a show. Had to rate this place low for such ridiculous employee standards.

Was there this weekend for my brothers wedding. The service was fantastic, especially Michelle who was friendly and very helpful. The salad and bread served were good. I wish the butter wasn't rock hard but that's really my issue, especially since the bread was piping hot. For my entrée I had the chicken, broccoli, ziti and the portion was small and it was pretty bland. My husband had the a cranberry stuffing stuffed pork and the meat itself as well as the mashed potatoes were delicious but the stuffing and the sauce that was spooned over the pork was way too sweet. Not sure if I would return.

When next near Quincy, I'd go back to this seafood restaurant as the food, service, low noise level, and ambiance were all quite good. The Cioppino, a fish soup like bouillabaisse with scallops, mussels, shrimp and vegetables in a light tomato wine saffron broth, was absolutely delicious with just enough spice and very fresh. The seasoned asparagus was crisp and perfectly cooked. However, the mashed potatoes --- a massive serving enough for two --- were disappointing as not even hot enough to melt butter and lacking much taste. The entree and two included sides were $18 which seemed a good value for the quality and taste. The service was friendly, attentive and accurate on a Monday noon when the place wasn't very busy. The view of the bay, marina and Boston skyline was pretty and relaxing. Part of a huge marina, office, and housing development built in the past few decades, this place doesn't have the interesting vibe of a classic New England slightly shabby seafood joint, rather more like a nice but bland chain restaurant. Parking wasn't very convenient --- a block away, but it was free.

Location is the only good thing about this place. My dad and I both got sick after eating the very mushy, very sandy steamed clams here. I tried two mixed drinks and both were terrible. Moscow mule too sweet. Asked for salt on margarita and got a sugar rim, ummmmm? Way overpriced. Slow service. Hated it.

We left Fish bones...too busy to wait on us. Walked over to port 305. Kristen the bartender met us with a cheerful smile and suggested an amazing Martini. Food was really good and an amazing staff..... We are definitely coming back! Thank you for taking care of us after a bad experience at Fishbones.

Very disappointed. Went there last night with friends and sat outside on a high top. Put our drink order in and appetizers as well. The waiter Shawn asked if we knew what we'd like for our main course as well and we did so he took the order. The order came out pretty much all at once. When the person from the kitchen brought our main course out as we started our appetizers I told him to take them back, we just started the apps and there's no room. He snapped at me and told me that's too bad there's no room in the kitchen and placed our food on an empty table next to us and left! My food sat outside on a table next to us! I was shocked! This restaurant first had no etiquette on serving and was only interested on making a quick turnover. I will never go to this place again.

Marina Bay is more about the drinks and atmosphere than the food, but of all the restaurants Port 305 is by far the best. I love their skirt steak salad, it is my go-to. Great quality! If you are looking for something hearty and healthy, it won't disappoint. Their Port Fries are nothing to brag about. They are a cross between a chip and a fry. Not worth the Calories, in my opinion. The last time I was here, my friend ordered the turkey club with sweet potato fries. You could tell the turkey was high quality deli turkey. She was really pleased with her meal. I used to order the mint martini, opted for ice tea last time. Though, if it is on the menu (they tend to rotate their martinis), it is worth a try. Service was good, not great Location is fabulous, especially for a warm summer day.

By far my favorite place to sit and have drinks! My only complaint is the bar tenders, they serve you when they feel like it, it was a quiet evening this week and had to ask three times for a drink! This place is so beautiful but the staff are just not capable. The bartenders in the bar should be more experienced and know that there phones should not be used while working. From reading the past reviews it's clear that the staff need some more training.

view of the marina is nice, service & food are ok. bourbon steak tips were flavorful. mac & cheese was fair -- cheese was not uber flavorful or cheesy. bordered on the white and runny side. our server didn't know the pinot noir from the cab -- and gave us the wrong ones. sounds wine snobby, i know, but was just the beginning of the small mishaps. i ordered sides for my son's plate, but it was plated with my entree. seems minor, i know, but added to the overall experience. we ordered dessert which was supposed to be fruit over angel food cake, and it came out as yellow cake. when i asked about the angel food cake, they said they were out. i would have preferred they asked before they brought it out to see if i still wanted it. this is a sleepy little marina, and maybe one of the sleepier restaurants. unfortunately, probably wouldn't come back.

Came here kind of late on a Tuesday, after just arriving into town. We decided to sit outside, since they had the patio covered and with heat lamps. We ordered drinks and the Pot Roast, Grilled Marinated Steak Goat Cheese Spinach Quesadilla, Grilled Blackened Chicken Pasta, and the Burger. I found the pot roast to be very tasty but they included too much of the fat in my bowl (I know you should keep it on while cooking, but a heaping portion in my serving dish is kind of gross and displaces the actual portion of meat that I would eat). The quesadilla was also quite tasty, but the crappy low budget salsa they included with it, completely ruined the dish (think Sysco salsa you would never buy let alone eat). The pasta was a bit too oily at the bottom IMO but the person who ordered and ate it enjoyed it. I didn't try the burger. Our accompanied sides of Port Fries and Butternut Squash were pretty good, though. Service was really sub par, unfortunately. Waters weren't refilled, no one checking on our meals, and a bit of an attitude. They brought out the wrong side, then acted as if it was our fault. They never returned with our correct side until we asked for it 10 minutes into the meal. I honestly thought about rating this place two stars because of service, but I thought the pot roast and quesadilla don't deserve low ratings for shoddy service. The potential is there for this place!

Foods not bad at all for pub grub. The service on the other hand is unbelievably brutal!!!!!! They really need to step it up with a busy summer coming! So so bad

Port 305 is a good spot for some appetizers and drinks. Especially in the summer, Marina Bay is a great spot to hang out. While their menu is expansive, we haven't loved the entrees we have gotten here. That being said, the mussels app is great. The drinks, pitchers of sangria, martinis, are poured well. It's a really nice spot if you sit outside right on the water. Even in the winter this is a nice atmosphere as they have a fireplace inside and the decor is classy.

Watch your credit card receipts after visiting this establishment. Servers will add to receipt and steal from you. Management will credit you, IF you're lucky enough to catch it, but will make up a story about how it "mistakenly" happened that just doesn't add up. (This has also happened to me at Fishbones. Beware of the Boardwalk!) Nice view though.

Surprised about the average star review. The food is very, very good. Sure the view adds a big plus to this restaurant. Ive been 5-6 times over last summer. The steak tips are amazing. Little on the pricey side, but you do get better-than-normal quality. Will continue to visit this place...

Great view of the water and relaxing under the awning. We ordered a pitcher of sangria that consisted mostly of ice in the pitcher and ice in the glasses they served it with. Tasted mediocre but not something I would order again. The several appetizers we ordered were decent and came out quickly. Waitress was abrupt and unfriendly but I did see other waiters and waitresses who were friendly. Come here for the view but expect to have an average meal.

This review is based on limited experience. Last Sunday, waited 25 minutes for a table for dinner with my family, and was seated around 7:30 pm. Nice waiter came and very honestly told us that the kitchen was "backed up" and he couldn't even put a food order in for at least 45 minutes. If I was with friends and OK with sitting around with drinks for an hour and half before getting food, that might have been OK, but we had our two teen boys with us. Spending an hour and half watching them dejectedly suck down four sodas each didn't sound like a fun Father's Day to me. We split. For inability to manage the basics on a busy night which anyone could have anticipated, one star. For not having the hostess even tell us as we were about to be seated that there was a huge delay, one star.

Nasty! It should be called Port A 'Potty 305. Man, I tried this place with a friend about 3 years ago and it was awful then. Just last night my husband and I tried it on a whim and it was a big mistake. The $20 bacon wrapped scallop appetizer we ordered clearly came from a box in the freezer. They were chewy, nasty, little things. Frozen seafood on Marina Bay? Pathetic! We would have sent the scallops back if we hadn't just sent the BBQ chicken pizza back which had disgusting, pre-cooked, rubbery chicken jiggles on it! I'm so sick of restaurants in this area serving pre-cooked jiggly "chicken"! How hard is it to cook a fresh chicken breast? It was nasty, a mama celeste pizza would have been more appealing. The only saving grace was the toasted baguette and hummus appetizer, but then again, how hard is it to screw up bread? We had thought/hoped the manager would at least stop by to apologize about the pizza, but nope. Their attitude matches the food here. We will never be back.

Pretty outdoor seating under a shady canopy - the view of the marina is perhaps the best thing this place has going for it. The food is fine - simple and caters to the well off old folks and/or young couples from the Quincy area who frequent the place. Service was a little slow but she made up for it in smiles and personality. I go here often and go with realistic expectations and therefore usually enjoy myself. If you're looking for an afternoon luncheon or sunset supper overlooking the boats and bay - go here.

Start of a new boating season so once again going here. Little disappointed that it is the same old menu. Time for some new things on the menu as it has hardly any change in the past few years. Really turning into a just OK place to eat. Siro's, same owner, however continues to be the best food at the marina but expensive.

Horrible service!!!!! Went here tonight with 2 friends. We sat at the bar. There were 3 bartenders behind a half empty bar. We were approached when we first sat down by a bartender and we asked for a drink menu. That was the last time anyone acknowledged us. We sat there for 20 minutes while the bartenders ignored us. Literally the blonde bartender served the gentleman next to me and stood and chit chatted with him while I stared at her trying to get her attention. She completely avoided eye contact with me and walked away. We sat and waited for 20 minutes and nobody ever came to wait on us. Last time I checked bartenders worked for tips! Why would you purposely not wait on us? We were so angry at the lack of service that we walked out. I'll never go back there.

Always Terrible! This place only services based on it location. The food is awful. I ordered a blue cheese salad and it came out with barely any blu cheese. Our waitress went MIA for 15 minutes and we had to ask a cook for the bill. This was a weekday in October so they weren't even busy. During the summer the food is the same very disappointing with bad service. I hope they can improve their menu and wait staff next summer.

The view definitely saves this place from being terrible. Food is mediocre at best (had the popcorn shrimp and the lobster Mac and cheese...don't bother). You're going to pay more than you want to, but if you're looking more for the marina ambiance, this place certainly is right in the heart of it all. Go for drinks & an appetizer.

I just came back from a baby shower in the function room at the Port 305 and it was amazing! The function room is gorgeous! The staff were super friendly and attentive. The food was buffet style and very delicious. Even being that it was buffet style it was still very fancy. We had chicken alfredo, string beans with mini grape tomatoes, mashed potatoes and fish. The function room was very tastefully decorated and spotless with a cute little bar! I definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking to hold a function! I loved it!

The view from the deck is nice on a warm day. Service was friendly. The food is OK. I doubt anything here will knock your socks off. I tried the Chili, Sweet Potato Fries, and a slice of the margherita pizza which, again, was OK.

3 stars is generous for service. In the 5 years I have been going there tonight was the worst service and last summer it was heading down hill. Started timing after a few minutes and it was about 8 minutes before being acknowledged. Was handed menus right away. Ordered drinks and asked for a glass of ice water. I got a glass of ice. Maybe he didn't hear but why would I want a glass of ice and a chilled glass??? Obviously not paying attention. 25 more minutes went by and we caught attention to pay. No one ever came back to take order. Certainly wasn't pleasant watching the blond bartender chomping away on presumably gum either. Used to have great bartenders who never missed an opportunity to serve. Teach your bartenders that every customer is money in their pocket.

Absolute worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I observed the "manager" Mike openly yelling at, and berating 2 servers in the short 20 minutes my wife and I were there, before leaving without ordering. This man yelled across the restaurant at 2 different women who then appeared both to have started crying. He then proceeded to chat with friends for the rest of the time we were there, ignoring guests at the bar. I had heard about his reputation from friends who have eaten here, but had to see it to believe it. We went to see a show and were not disappointed. Unbelievably childish behavior from an authority figure. I will never revisit this establishment. Clown show.

Have been here many times through the years. Seems to be in a downward spiral. Service is terrible. Had to beg for menus, drink refills, condiments, etc. May as well have served ourselves. Food was fair. One of three meals sent back for being wrong. Overpriced due to the location. High turn over, low cleanliness. Good place for drinks and apps if you're sitting outside, and leaving quick. Inside is not worth leaving your house. I will try every other place at Marina Bay before returning.

We did brunch here and it was awesome! The white sangria was great and so were the mimosas. We started with the calamari and it was really good. Perfectly breaded and fried... I had the chicken teriyaki over brown rice which was ok, not terrible but not amazing either. Service was a tad slow at times, but it was Sunday so that's to be expected. The views are phenomenal!! It's a great spot to catch a bite with friends.

Another recent trip here solidified that this is not my favorite spot in Quincy. I ordered pasta dish that tasted like a Lean Cuisine. The bar and drinks are good but I've now had two meals that I wasn't thrilled with. Looking around the table, nothing looked that spectacular. My husband's pastrami sandwich had a lone, flimsy piece of Swiss and no mustard; another member of my party asked for fries, which were soggy and lacked flavor. The saving grace here was our very sweet and attentive waitress.

Dear Management, Create a system where your food runners know everything to bring to the table; waiting for my butter while my vegetables cool down is annoying. Don't serve Sausage and Shrimp bisque unless there is actually going to be shrimp in it, being light on ingredients is just cheesy. Encourage your wait staff to double check the bill before presenting it to the table for payment, customers don't like to be charged for food they didn't order. Think about knocking a dollar or two of your prices; the food isn't as good as you think it is. If I come back it will be for drinks on someone else's dime. Sincerely, A customer

Port 305 was our choice to experience the fireworks on the 4th and it did not disappoint. I had heard good things but I was surprised that our service was so good despite a fair amount of people their for fireworks... Our server made sure our drinks were full and the food came up at a good amount of time. The beach bar type atmosphere is a perfect compliment to marina bay and you can't help but feel happy and relaxed...

My boyfriend and I decided to try this place because the wait was only 30-45 minutes on a gorgeous day. The hostess told us to wait at the bar and she would come get us when a table was ready. An hour later I went to the front to ask if it was almost ready and found our name had just been crossed off the list. To make up for it she decided to seat us right away and put us at a nice table right at the front of restaurant overlooking the water. I walked away for about 30 seconds to get my boyfriend from the bar and came back to find the waitress seating someone else at our table. I told her that we had just been seated there. Turns out this other table was unhappy with their location and wanted to move. My boyfriend and I ended up at the table they were unhappy with and they gave them our nice table. I was infuriated by the overall lack of service. We left almost no tip for the waitress. Definitely don't recommend this place. They seem to feel like they can treat customers however they want to because of their prime location. Don't give them the satisfaction by going!

I gave them two stars because waitress was very nice and she brought everything I asked for (I was kind of demanding). But price, amount of food and cleanliness deserve no stars. I had Bloody Mary that was decent and we ordered fried calamari. There were more pieces of banana peppers than pieces of squid. Overpriced and baby portions. When I went to the restroom, I was shocked how dirty it was!!! And it was a slow day with barely 10 people at the restaurant. Staff was leaning on the bar and chatting the whole time. We won't come back here.

Average food, drinks and service, the outdoor seating and location on Marina Bay lovely, for which you pay premium price. Good for a special occasion like birthday or graduation due to location, but I would never go her routinely.

I've been to Port 305 a handful of times. In all honesty I come more for the view and atmosphere than the food. Case in point a meal I had last night; I chose the baked scallops (shown as MKT price on the menu). I figured that I would be paying a little but more, but expected much more for my money. The scallops ended up being $25 (not terrible) however I was very disappointed that this only included 4 smaller scallops in a large bed of breadcrumbs. Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend this dish. Overall, Port 305 isn't bad if you're going for a place to sit outside.

I've eaten at Port 305 many times and usually make it there for my Thursday night dinner. Atmosphere: Generally perfect, fireplace provides a comfortable evening, restaurant is always warm in winter so your not feeling the cold like some restaurants. Food (winter menu): Bourbon steak tips are incredibly tender and delicious, Seafood Newburg, Meatloaf and chicken pot pie all are prepared well and plenty of it. Lunch time ,10 oz burger and the Black Russian Pastrami sandwiches are to die for. The best part, between 4 and 6pm they have appetizers for only $3.05 and not a cheap portion either, but you must stay there, not for takeout. The atmosphere is friendly and the bartenders actually have great conversations going on with everyone. Looking forward to the Summer months of sitting outside and overlooking the bay and enjoying a good meal in this beautiful setting.

I'm surprised that I have lived in Quincy for so long and have just been here for the first time recently. When we showed up around 6pm there was no wait for a seat outside. Our server was friendly, and attentive at first, our drinks, appetizer and food came out very quickly. But once we got our entree's our waiter disappeared until well after we finished eating. The food was good, we got the fried calamari for an appetizer, it was a good size portion, and they were cooked well. I got a chicken stir fry quesadilla for dinner, and it was very big, I ended up taking half of it home. The view was great looking over the harbor.

I've been here twice recently and it is OK, but not great. It has a beautiful view of Boston and the seating outside is good for people-watching. The service has been fine as well. When I had to send back a meal, the waitress did it without any problems. Chicken teriyaki stir fry - this is the meal I had to send back. It was DROWNING in teriyaki sauce and I couldn't taste anything else. Pastrami sandwich - literally just pastrami, Swiss and a roll. They gave me mustard on the side. I thought it was fine as I like my sandwiches simple, and this is about as simple as it gets. Baked haddock - the haddock was fine, but it came with two tomato slices on top, which I thought was kind of weird. The description didn't say that it came with them, and I ended picking them off. Ginger mashed sweet potatoes - good, although I wish the ginger flavor was stronger. Fries - shaped more like chips and not crispy enough Corn/broccoli/carrots - they are just vegetables, hard to mess them up Overall, I will come back. It's nothing spectacular, but fine if you want a cheap meal and a nice view of Boston.

Went here with my boyfriend over the weekend for our monthly "fancy date". A co-worker of his recommended that we check out the restaurants in Quincy, especially by the water. So we looked into it and decided to try Port 305. We meant to leave the apartment at about 6, but left after 6:30 instead. Took us about a half hour to get there from Somerville (didn't hit any traffic, smooth easy ride). Getting there around 7:15 on a Saturday night, we only had to wait about 20 minutes to get a table. We were placed at a hightop in their outdoor seating section, with a lovely view of the skyline and the boats in the marina. They had a playlist of fun music playing, which I enjoyed, but if you're looking for a quiet meal, this may not be the place for you. Our waitress was a total sweetheart. She brought out a sample of the ginger mashed sweet potatoes for me to try before I ordered, which I greatly appreciated. I ended up ordering the Haddock with creamy mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus, and my boyfriend ordered the grilled chicken quesadilla. He also had a beer and I splurged on the French Pear Martini. My martini was absolutely wonderfully delicious - light and crisp and a little bit sweet and just wonderful. At $12 a pop it's a bit steep, but definitely worth the extra cost once in a while. When another server brought out our meals, my boyfriend took a bite of his (very large) quesadilla and realized he was served the buffalo chicken quesadilla, rather than the one he'd ordered. We flagged down our waitress and she apologized for the mixup and went to check with the kitchen. Within three minutes she came back out with the correct quesadilla (just as big as the first) and explained that the server had grabbed the wrong order. She apologized and said he could have both quesadillas if he'd like, which I thought was a nice offer considering restaurants typically just insist on disposing of incorrect orders. My haddock was delicious, and was a nice sized fillet of fish. It was lightly breaded and baked with a tomato slice on top. The sides were yummy, but cooled off pretty quick since we were sitting outside and the temperature started to drop a bit. If it were just for the food, I'd probably rate Port 305 a 3-star restaurant. But the service and atmosphere definitely amped it up for me a bit. Our waitress was wonderful and knowledgeable about the food, and you really can't beat a view like that for a late-summer date night. Four stars for yummy food, semi-reasonable prices (a bit high for some items), good portions, nice service, and a lovely scene.

Three Stars Strictly based on Brunch. We came here not realizing that it was only Brunch on Mother's Day. I was actually hoping to order a meal...I love Italian food, and I just had to get my fix. Port 305 is a very nice restaurant inside and out. It's two stories high, and brunch is served upstairs. Brunch was delicious...this coming from someone who isn't fond of brunch/buffets. My issue with Port 305's brunch? Cost thirty two dollars per person, but mimosas weren't part of the brunch, cost NINE dollars each, AND had ice in it. I didn't even realize the ice til I was all done. This mimosa issue really messed it up for me, and so did our server who was never around for water refills. I would've liked to give them 4-5 stars.

Beautiful view! I came here with some friends I hadn't seen in a while. We were talking and catching up for quite a bit. The server kept coming over and asking us if we were ready, I could tell she was getting frustrated with us after the fourth time she came over and we hadn't looked at our menus yet! I felt bad about that, if you're reading this, I'm sorry! Her bitterness with us did last throughout the meal, that wasn't great. It was pretty evident we weren't her favorite people. We got the hummus dip to start, pretty good. I got the sweet potato fries and the port side salad as my main course. Salad was unremarkable, but the sweet potato fries were fine. They did have quite a few vegetarian menu options, which was very nice, but there were none that caught my eye. I would definitely go back here, but just for drinks (maybe dessert) and to enjoy the view.

Great location , nice hummus appetizer,,,,that's about it. Flatbread pizza was very similar to something you would find in the freezer section, caesar salad was typical low end bagged salad, ken's steak house caesar dressing. Server was very nice but inexperienced. Not somewhere I would run back to.

I want to love Port 305 but I can't. Except for Cocktails. It is the perfect location right on the water with a good view of the sunset and boats and everyone walking around the marina... I came here one more time last night to see if maybe on a Monday after work, thinking it might not be too busy, service would be on-point, and food would be decent. I was wrong. Service was super slow, food was mediocre - we ordered two side salads and the chipotle chicken nachos which were just corn chips, very rubbery chicken cubes covered in BBQ sauce, with a little bit of salsa, cheese, lettuce and sour cream. No guacamole, no jalapenos, no other basic nacho toppings. . We could have probably gotten a fresher salad and better nachos down at the Waterclub. (I actually just checked out there menu out of curiosity and their nachos have everything on them!) If you are going to come here, I would suggest just grabbing a few drinks and possibly an appetizer, but that might be pushing it. I might be back for drinks only.

The first time I came here I thought to myself "This is Quincy?!" I thought I knew my way around but Marina Bay is such a hidden gem. It's taken me a while to write the review but I've sampled quite a bit from the menu. The Scallops wrapped in Bacon are a great appetizer but are definitely not the best to share since you only get 5 scallops. The Nachos are fantastic for sharing with a group. They're huge! The wait staff have been pretty good about keeping up with our dietary needs, wants, and dislikes with the nachos. The BBQ Chicken Sandwich should come with a bib and about 7 napkins! It's tough to eat but tastes decent. The Sweet Potato fries and House fries are both great choices as sides. They have a full bar so ordering a beverage shouldn't be too tough! Their Sangria is tasty and is great on a warm day overlooking the water. Just remember, bring an extra layer if you're sitting outside. It can get chilly on the water.

I love Port 305 at Marina Bay! Upscale but casual, the vibe inside always makes me feel comfortable - and the view of Boston across the water is spectacular! I've been to Port a handful of times, and every time is a wonderful experience. Friendly and Attentive staff, delicious food and wine! The food always arrives in a timely manner (my favorite is the seafood risotto!) but I've never felt rushed. I'm looking forward to visiting this summer in the warmer weather, but winter hours still make it easy to stop in for lunch - it's always warm and toasty inside!

Sticky table and slow slow service. The white sangria is 90% pineapple juice. The view and location are what you come for.

For starters the service was good. Sat outside on the patio with the view of the water. The steak tips I ordered were cooked to my taste. The only real complaint I have is the limited wine and food selection. For the the limited menu, the items were a tad bit above average at best

Staying in Marina Bay for a week, I ended up here three times. I'm GF and like most places in the area, there is a high concentration of fried foods. The bar and restaurant is nice though - wooden floors with the option of sitting outdoors if the weather is good. The GF menu is somewhat limited but is ok (I wasn't wowed). I did switch the lobster rolls for a lobster salad and the lobster was fantastic. Cooked just perfectly and lovely and fresh so well done on that! Such a great taste, I left it naked rather than ruin it with a heavy dressing. The first time I was here, I had a huge steak and blue cheese salad which was good - lots of steak but the US portions are a little on the big side for me (and I like my food!). Service is on the whole, friendly - just better to not show (like the server on our last visit when you obviously preferred to hang about and chat to your friends as the place was quiet) that you are pissed off with the girl asking what is gluten free and what can be adapted... Great location in the Marina and it is a great place to sit with a Martini or three (good cocktail list and premium spirits are used) and then head home to bounce off the walls later at night...

This place gets to 4 stars because of their outdoor seating and beautiful view. Went here for the 4th of July. They have a decent size menu we ended up getting the buffalo chicken quesadillas, which had the perfect buffalo to blue cheese ratio. We also had the lobstar macaroni and cheese. The waitress described it as divine, I would have called it bland. The menu described many more flavors, none of which were apparent when I tasted it. The waitress was very friendly but we dd have to wait quite a while for our check. I wouldn't go out of my way to return here but if I'm in Marina Bay I would probably return.

My husband & I were out on the motorcycle going for a nice Sunday ride when my friends texted me to come meet them, as they had been there for a while (I wasn't driving, I was riding bitch-for those who don't know-passenger). I love Marina Bay, so off we went! I love Al Fresco dining on a beautiful summer day! People watching on the boardwalk and looking out at the harbor & boats The hostess gave us the table next to my friends, as they had already ordered & their food was about to come out. I really like the food here; they have a little bit of everything. He got the steak tips (yes, again) & said they were pretty tasty & I got the Roasted Pear & Scallop salad w/ Corn bread croutons. It was light & filling. The service was good; the waitress came around a few times making sure everything was ok. She even brought me a fresh glass of ice water w/ lemon, when I was about empty. (yes, I was impressed, they usually just pour more water from the pitcher & always forget the lemon-I like my water to have a little citrus in it, so it is not so boring-so don't kill me) We took care of my friends bill as well as ours & I noticed that their waitress was a little worried about it, probably because my husband joked around & told her he was a creeper & wanted to pay for the pretty girls dinner...LOL Seriously!

I come here once a year for work's Christmas party and everyone loves the spread... they do a really great catering job all around. However when I came for dinner on a separate occasion I ordered the steak tips and mash. Sad to say it wasn't up to par and I required a half pint of water to swallow after each bite. I did however try my girl's lobster mac n' cheese that she ordered... amazing. I wish I had ordered that instead. If I'm in the area I'd come back.

Went for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon, was not busy at all.Pretty dark and we were seated in a booth with a clear view of the kitchen which was a little strange to watch them prep our food.Food was ok , i had haddock and wife had tips, neither were great or bad just average.Waitress was average ,not all that attentive but not totally ignoring us.Whole experience was very average, probably wouldn't go back.

Great location and food was pretty good. The waitress was awful though, she kept coming back every few minutes and repeatedly asked us the same questions. We felt rushed. Then at the end of our meal right before we paid she started being really rude. Not even looking at us when responding and being really short with her responses. I have never met a ruder waitress.

A perfect mid-week dinner on a mild March evening. We were greeted immediately and seated in the dining room by the window. The lighting in the room is reduced which creates ambiance and the perfect conditions for viewing the illuminated Boston skyline at night. There was a fire in the fireplace and with the boardwalk lights outside, the vibe was spot on. The menu has a little bit of everything. People in our party had the clam chowder and the onion soup - both of which resulted in thoroughly empty bowls. The flatbread pizzas are very good and just the right size. The potstickers were great. A person in our party had a haddock dish that was very good. Someone at the next table got the chicken pie and it looked damn tasty. I got the Boston cream pie for dessert which was great. Rather than a typical gold cake, it was made with two loose pieces of lady finger-esque discs, with the custard in between and chocolate on the top. It was delicious and not overpoweringly sweet. It was perfect. That's all I can say. Every dish was presented in an artfully simple, contemporary manner on the plate. Care was taken in presentation however it wasnt off-the-wall crazy with a streak of sauce in one corner and a dot of condiment on another etc etc. The waitress was attentive and friendly. She was knowledgable about the menu and helpful with answering questions. A weird thing worth mentioning is the uneven pricing. The soups and dessert were around $6 and flatbread pizzas less than $10 which is totally reasonable but potstickers were $10 and a glass of white sangria $11 ??!? The sangria kinda sucked BTW. Wine and fruit juice with a piece of fruit as a garnish does not a sangria make. It should have a larger glass to accommodate chunks of fruit that should be in it. Anyway... The bottom line - the food is probably 3.5 stars but the whole experience was a 5.

Giving this 2 stars only because we had good service. Place was like a circus with all the staff hanging out and eating by the entrance. The food was not fresh - wilted lettuce on the burger, brown mint leaves in the mojito, stale bread...Will not be coming back.

We returned again in the summer (7/2) and had a great experience: 1. The hostess was really nice to us - and seemed genuinely concerned that we couldn't get a table for two right away. We did get our table within 10 minutes! 2. The food was great... we were seated outside, and the views with small towns having their pre-4th firework shows was beautiful. 3. Great people watching if you are seated outside. (On a funny note, our server did not know what a Summer Shandy BEER was and proceeded to say: Yeah, I think the bartender can mix that up for you. We that that was hilarious!)

The food was actually good however very expensive and small portions. It took reallyyyy long for us to get our food to come out and their excuse was that because we ordered seafood, normally you'd think seafood does not take that long... The staff was also not that friendly starting with the hostesses that offered us a booth seat. I am seven months pregnant and was with my husband and three year old son. After we refused that table as there was no way we could sit there they gave us a big attitude... Would not go there again.

My husband and I went there the night before his birthday. The location is great. We waited for a seat outside and had a drink at bar, which was good. We got seated under the covered area outside. But once seated there the waitress was not good at all. We ordered an appetizer. Hummus plate was ok for the price...just chips and hummus, no veggies came with it. We had another drink at the table and told waitress we would be ordering dinner as well. After her walking by us a bunch of times, we waited about 30/40 minutes before we had to ask her to place our dinner order, I was ready to just leave. But we decided since we were already there. I ordered quesadillas with no meat ... Which was an item on the menu. My husband got a sandwich. When food finally came out. They gave me the quesadilla with chicken and I don't eat meat. So I sent it back. my husband finished his dinner while I waited. We should have just left...when I got my quesadillas finally they were just ok. And waitress didn't even comp bill at all. I would go there for a drink but never again for dinner. Just because location is good, doesn't mean service and food should not be good.

I was going to give this place 2 stars until I took a bite of my pot roast. Definitely the best pot roast I've had in years (and I love love love love POT ROAST) . We went on a Monday night and they only had one server and one bartender on for the entire restaurant and bar, and there were about 50 of us there so the service was tremendously slow - not something I enjoyed being in a rush myself!!! The good looking bartender was very friendly and nice and waited on our table seeing the other (good looking) waiter was also very busy. They were both very nice people, and the bartender accommodated our last minute entree order change too. My friends had a beef stew and a pizza - all of our meals were very very good. I ordered the humus as an appetizer because it's the same as Sirro's and I love it - too bad it's not complimentary here like it is at Siros. I'm not in love with the prices here and wish they did some type of local program that offered discounts during the off-peak Winter Season or for the local residents to the marina. I was here once before for a football game/Sunday and it was packed. The food was good then too but slow to get out. The chefs certainly know their stuff because both times I've told them I'm allergic to onions and they automatically knew that I can't/shouldn't have garlic either and are quick to point out what comes with garlic. I completely disliked that they chopped up half a raw purple onion and put it on my humus plate prior to learning of my allergy - BAD chef, BAD!!!! Raw diced onion is not a garnish!!! Please write on your menu if you want to add so much raw onion to a dish! But kudos on your pot roast!!! Did I mention you have fabulous Pot Roast - honestly - I thought I died and went to heaven. Thanks :) ps - please turn up the heat a bit - you're on the water and it wasn't necessarily warm in there :) Keep in mind I'm still giving you FOUR STARS here (solid greatness) but you've definitely got room for improvement!

It's a nice place, nice view, friendly staff, good drinks. The food is good, nothing to write home about nor anything you haven't seen before. It could use a little imagination with the food, add some items that weren't so plain...everyone and their brother does chicken wings, nachoes, chowder, pizza and this place is no different.

I've recently had dinner at Port305 in Marina Bay, and overall, was quite impressed. They had a bit of a wait on a Friday night (about 45 minutes - but they take reservations, so I could've planned better). It was a beautiful night out and we got outdoor seating - which was wonderful. The water views are great, and there's great people watching along the dock if you're into that. Our waitress was super friendly, polite, efficient, and flexible. We had a picky eater or two in the group and they allowed for us to make minor changes to the dishes that we ordered. Our food came out timely, warm, and will all of our modifications as we specified. The portions were good for the price, and dessert (we had the chocolate bundt cake) was delicious! The ribs appetizer was really good, could eat them with a fork. The steak was flavorful, tender, and juicy - another big hit. The surf & turf was not only delicious but really a steal for the price. The ginger sweet mashed potatoes were different, and very delicious. Definitely a place worth going to not only for the atmosphere but also for the food!

I came here for lunch with my girlfriend after boating earlier in the day with friends. We thought it would be good to check out the place as it looked pretty nice. The setting is great, right off the wharf/water, well-kept, and overall nice atmosphere. The food was disappointing especially for the price. Paid about $40 for one bowl of chili and two salads between me and the GF. Mind you, we didn't even order drinks! The chili was soupy and lacked any real flavor. I got a cobb salad and my GF got a chicken caesar salad. Neither were special. I've had better food at dives, but then again I may have been paying for the location more than the food. Service was confusing. I think we dealt with 3-4 different wait staff. I suppose I appreciate the "team" effort, but like the saying goes, "a horse with two masters, will never be fed". We ordered from one server and after 20+ minutes of waiting, we got our food. After my glass was left sitting empty for about 10 minutes it was refilled by a third, more attentive server (which I can say I'm glad he was at least looking out for the other diners such as myself). Overall, I expected more from this place. I appreciate the location, but it's not worth returning for the food or the weak service.

My guy and two friends went for the 4th of July around lunchtime. Despite being saddened by the fact that they were not serving brunch (we somehow believed that that day was a Sunday), we instantly perked up at the mention of fresh seafood. Holy lobster sliders! They were deeeelish. Fresh, savory, packed into lightly buttered brioche rolls. The shrimp cocktail was also excellent. 6 mega-jumbo shrimp for $13... not too shabby. John Daly pitchers were quite thirst-quenching, as well. John Daly is a huge Arnold Palmer, and it's fitting. We had a great, young, fun waiter, who also told us where to pick up craft brews in the area.

Port 305 is located near the water with a beautiful view. They have indoor and outdoor seating for your party. We had a party of 10. Everyone ordered different items on the menu. I had the lobster roll with port fries. The lobster itself was fresh and good, but the roll just couldn't hold the large amounts of meat. The clam chowder was not bad, but nothing to write home about. We had mixed reviews in our party about their food. Some finished their meals and some didn't even bother. The staff was friendly, but a little busy at times. It was pretty pricey for each meal. I don't mind returning here, but I wouldn't go out my way to come here for lobster.

Such a great experience here last night. Great casual dining spot in Marina Bay! We sat at the bar and the bartenders were friendly, attentive, and could tell us a lot about the drink options and food. The drinks were excellent, our food came out in a timely manner, and was cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend checking it out!

I threw my boyfriend a big birthday dinner there and the process was actually quite horrible. I called weeks in advance and no one could confirm the reservation for me, telling me they would call me back. Alas, they never did. When I called back, they still didn't confirm! A few days later, I called again and they finally said OK to our 20 person function. When we got there, we were sat upstairs in a section that had no light and no one knew how to turn it in. Finally, our server was able to solve the mystery. We ended up having a party of 25 with ONE server. When the food came out, the runners didn't know what belonged to who and it was just a mess. People yelling out orders like it was a fast food joint. A male runner even rolled his eyes at us because someone didn't hear him shout "WHO GOT THE SALMON???" Aren't you supposed to know where it goes to instead of rolling your eyes at us? Pay attention!!!!!! The food was cold and not that good.

With a beautiful location and energetic atmosphere, Port 305 falls short of delivering an equally matched meal. The food was simple and bland- we ordered the nachos (big mistake) and the margarita flatbread pizza, which I'm sorry to say, reminded me of elementary school pizza. There was nothing margarita about it minus a piece of basil here or there. I actually think I've had better food in a hospital! If you're looking to have a drink and enjoy a nice view, then this is your place. The staff is friendly and it's great for people watching. But if you're hungry I think you'd have better luck down the street, my guess is any restaurant will do better!

I'm not sure when Skyline changed over to Port 305. But we had dinner here on Sunday and it was OK. Atmosphere: The best thing was the outdoor seating. Its right by the dock and we were able to see the sunset during dinner. Service: I was not happy with the service. The server was not friendly nor too nice. Food: The food was good but the portions were really small. I ordered the lobster mac & cheese and that was yummy! They were fairly generous with the lobster, about 4-5 big pieces. The cheesiness of the pasta was a bit light and the dish was missing the panko crumb that was listed as part of the description. We also ordered the shrimp scampi, a burger and the fried clam plate. The shrimp scampi was good; also on the lighter side but it was served with 5 huge shrimp that was delicious! The burger and clam plate was good as well. Price: All the entrees are just under $20. I would love to come back but I wish the service was better.

LOVE the location, you can't beat it in the summer. This is by far the BEST casual restaurant in Marina Bay. It blows Fishbones out of the water and is priced less than Siros. Waitstaff has always been friendly.. Lots of TVs so you can watch the game while you sit at the outdoor/indoor bar!

This place is awesome in the summer. They have an amazing and large waterfront patio at Marina Bay. The menu is huge. Food is great. They offer gluten-free. Gets pretty packed on a nice night in the summer, but they seem to handle the crowd well. Never sat inside before. Looks like it would be fine, but there's no particular atmosphere, so it would not be as glorious as a patio seat on a fair weather evening. Also, fun to bar hop to the nearby places after your meal.

When my friend first suggested Marina Bay, I pictured getting club-humped by a bunch of Jersey Shore-esque dirtbags and almost reconsidered the friendship. Come to find out she had left out the crucial "Port 305 at...". Friendship salvaged. Anticipation restored. THE GREAT: The service at Port 305 was excellent. Our server was friendly, cool and super responsive. She did an incredible job of refreshing drinks at a table of seven "thirsty" patrons. The location is picturesque, overlooking the harbor with Boston in the distance. Sitting outside, enjoying a drink or some food with such a backdrop is quintessential summer. THE GOOD: The food was okay. They are definitely banking on location more than anything here. I had a bland piece of steak, a boring pot sticker and the sandiest freakin' steamers ever. People-watching is pretty good. At night, however, the boardwalk turns into a skank runway of sorts. Watching girls fall down in their stripper heels is funny. It's also pretty easy to tell which fat, old guys own boats by analyzing the corresponding groupie hussies. Prices are moderate. THE BAD: I expected more from the bathrooms. They were pretty filthy. Water (I hope) all over the floor, used...um, apparatus on the toilet, gross. Would I go back? Yes, but probably just for drinks.

Overall a good, option. Out of the three restaurants in Marina Bay (Siro's and Captain Fishbones being the others), it presents the best overall value. The food is pretty good, not great but I will certainly come back. It has more outdoor seating than Fishbones and more menu options than Siro's. The steak tips are great but the rest of the menu is just good. The location is great with views of Boston and the harbor. In my opinion, the best of Marina Bay. Altough, they always seem to be very understaffed. The waitstaff are flying around and do put in a great effort but the fact that their are so few of them makes it hard to get the attention you should expect. Overall, Port 305 is a good choice, especially on a nice summer night.

Have been hearing good things about 305 from my wife and sons. Decided to have a late dinner with two of my sons. Walking across the dock I noticed that 305 was the busiest of the restaurants for a week night . The place has a comfortable decor.Service was friendly and efficient. For food two of us had steak tips with fries, one sweet potato the other regular. Both very good, cooked the was ordered. My other son ordered mac and cheese and list it as one of his favorites. Overall looking forward to another time at Port 305

This place certainly had a few kinks to work out when it opened (as most do) so I agree with some of th earlier reviews, give it another chance as this restaurant has turned the corner! The food is moderately priced and they have GREAT happy hour specials (not sure if this will continue through summer or not?). The flat-bread pizzas are excellent, quality size portions and fairly colorful combinations. The setup at the port is great and definitely has that laid back sort of vibe. Sit outside if you can it is a real nice view and they have the heat lamps going if it is not warm enoug. I just hope Pauly D and the Situation do not start coming over her from the Waterclub...

I won't waste too much space telling you that I wish this waterfront area were better utilized. I'm sure the folks who live in Marina Bay love that there is a dentist and other random services available just a short walk from their yacht, but personally, I'd like to see little boutiques, or local crafts, etc... but I digress. The point, is that Port 305 so far has been a steady and predictable place to go for a casual yet elegant meal. This time around I enjoyed a lovely pear and scallop salad along with a glass of Sav. Blanc. My previous visit I enjoyed the decadent scallop appetizer (with brown sugar glaze and apple wood smoked bacon)... yum! I don't really have a reason for not rating higher except that it seems to hit highs on some elements and just average on others. The service is consistently good, so perhaps it's been my experience with fellow diners on a couple of occasions who have been less than courteous that sours things just a tad. Overall, it's good to great and satisfying food in an underutilized area. PS: Skip dessert and head to Cream and Sugar down the dock for some Richardson's ice cream instead. PPS: I recall being slightly disappointed by brunch buffet here, but to be fair that was a little while ago at this point...

I was at Port 305, Marina Bay, Quincy recently with my fiancee. It was a sunny Sunday late afternoon. The weather was beautiful. The food was decent, but the service was terrible. Now, I'm ok with paying for overpriced food (about $46 for onion soup, burger, steak tips and soda) as long as everything else it exceptional ..... This was not the case. As soon as the waitress learned we were not having cocktails the service was awful. Specials were not offered. Once our meal order was placed, our waitress was no where to be found. Runners brought out our food. The waitress did not come over to see if I needed any condiments for my burger and fries. When I was able to flag her down for mayo, she looked directly at our empty drink glasses and offered not additional drinks. When she finally came over to check on us, we were done with our meals. I asked for another water. My fiancee did not ask for another soda. She came back with water, soda, and the bill .... which there was a charge for 2 sodas. Since she took so long coming back, I didn't want to argue over $2.50 soda, so I simply gave her my credit card. The waitress was walking around to all the other tables, back and forth with my bill and credit card tucked under her arm. Now, if you've ever been out Marina Bay, everything is on the pier. I was just waiting for my credit card to fall out and fall through the spaces in the floor boards .... believe me, I've seen it happen. After 15 minutes, I got my credit card back. I signed it, left NO tip and walked out. While to food is decent and the atmosphere is very nice, I recommend you asking for a different waitress if "Emily" introduces herself.

My husband and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Port 305 in the function room upstairs and it was perfect! The view of the harbor and Boston skyline is stunning, the food was delicious (everyone was particularly impressed with the expansive antipasto appetizer display) and Louise (the function manager) was wonderful to work with. I highly recommend!

So I am an avid person of trying a new restaurant during the lunch hours since the prices are normally cheaper, smaller portions and not as crowded. Thus today I ventured over to 305 with co-workers and sat outside on the patio. The food was good but the server def had way to many tables to take care up thus kind of disappearing most of the time. Another employee brought our food and refilled our drinks which was great se asked before she just dropped the food and ran. The atmosphere was pleasant and I will try it out again.

I went here with my girlfriend and got here around 8:15 on a Friday night. I know I should have made a reservation so the 15 minute wait was my own damn fault right? The host was kind enough to update us on the status of our table about halfway through though. We sat in the room with the fireplace, we did have to trudge through people at the bar area to get to and from our table though. To be honest, that is the only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars, everything else was great! Once we got into the fireplace room as I am going to call it, we enjoyed a lovely view of the city. I think at one point our server changed but I didn't notice, service was excellent no matter who helped us. The portions were great, both my girlfriend and I didn't finish our meal, although we were saving room for desert. The attire was some mix of upscale and casual, hard to describe but it's safe to say I'll be back!

Great place to grab a drink. Food has been great both times I've gone. I've had the steak and the chicken pot pie. Both were great. I love the chips they serve. We love Port 305 and love the area. We're planning our wedding here next June.

My family and I celebrated my mother's 80th birthday party in the function room of Port 305. The room was nice and the view was amazing. The staff was polite, helpful, & hard-working. The food was very good, the bar well stocked, and the bartender was great! After the party we hung out in the bar downstairs. The atmosphere was nice but casual. The bartenders were very attentive...we were with a big group and they were on top of getting drinks while being friendly! We also ordered some burgers and bar appetizers (chicken fingers & fries, etc.)- they were delicious! I recommend both the function facility and the restaurant/bar!

I have been here a few times since I moved to Quincy. The food is okay, but I'll still come back because it's gorgeous. The view, the water, the outside seating. It's not too crowded after work. It's beautiful. You should def stop by for some food and drinks here, the experience is fantastic. I hope they will improve on the food, which is average. But the upside is that they got the pricing right, it's not expensive.

Bummed this place isn't better. The food is so-so, but expensive for what it is--you're definitely paying a premium for being in Marina Bay. The service is TERRIBLE. I thought the waitstaff was just ignoring us, but I looked around and realized it wasn't personal. As you've probably noticed from my other reviews, I don't have a lot of patience for bad service. This is definitely the best place for lunch and dinner in Marina Bay, but that's not saying anything.

Port305 offers delicious meals but a different type of food than Siros. I love the pot stickers, steak tips, lobster mac and cheese and the steak quesadilla was fantastic and the left overs even heated up wonderfully. The sangria is fruity and delicious. I highly recommend Port (and Siros) if you want a nice evening out with spectacular views.

It was a nice night so a friend and I decided to check this place out. Nice drink menu, but the options for dinner were so-so. I decided on the margarita pizza described as a flatbread with mozzarella and beefsteak tomatoes....what I got was a frozen Celeste pizza with a few tomato slices on top

Went here for lunch on a Saturday, and wished I never did. First of all, our poor waitress was running around like a chicken with her head cut off - she easily had 10 tables by herself, so I didn't mind too much that service was slow, but that's what it was... SLOW. The food was meh as well. I would much rather enjoy a $45 elsewhere. Sorry, Port 305, but I won't be coming back any time soon.

The only reason I'd come back would be for the view - definitely not for the food. The standard American bar menu features average-tasting dishes, at best. The people watching and OC feel with Boston in the backdrop is pretty awesome. But there's a few other restaurants here...I'd check them out first.

Make sure you sit at the bar, and ask for Mike as your Bartender. The guy is TOP NOTCH! He makes the drinks strong, and always has a great story! The food is always good, not great. But I do reccomend the Chicken Teriyaki, tasty! Its slammed during the summer, so get there early, but during the winter, its quiet, sit by the fire, view the skyline of boston, and sip a Martini, you really cant get a better place to relax!

We planned on lunch at Siro's yeasterday but had to try out Port 305 since it was jumoing on Sunday. Scored a nice table on the edge of the canopy with a great view of the boardwalk. People watching in Quincy is like watching Seinfeld:) There was a wedding shower at Siro's and some poor man (father of the bride?) looked like he was going to keel over in the heat from running gifts back and forth from the lot. We had the buffalo wings (grilled is nice for a change) garden salad and bbq chicken flatbread. Portions were fine and there were at least 10 large wings on the plate with crumbled blue cheese. I'n not a fan of chicken on pizza but the flatbread was flavorful and lite. White Sangria was excellent. We'll be back

The service is terrible and the food is disgusting. Would not recommend this restaurant. If you would like a good meal go to captain fish bones. Guaranteed a good meal, friendly service, and no hair in your food! This is my 3rd time trying to go to this place for a good experience.

Mediocre food. Nothing to bring me back other than the view over the harbor.

Had lunch there on Sunday. This place is over-priced and mediocre. We sat at the bar and the service was OK....not good. Food was very bland. If I want to spend $75 for lunch I'll do it at a better place than this. Very forgetful place. We won't be back anytime soon.

I have been here twice for dinner and once for a baby shower. Each times the food was mediocre. I remember thinking each time that the food must be good because its really nice inside, the view is wonderful, and the prices are so high. Unfortunately it's the same pub food you can get at The Fours or the Beer Garden... But for way more money. The way the menu describes the food you think you're getting a flavorful, decadent dish, and when it comes its not worth the money. Today we went and we waited forever for our order to be taken, when our meal came, 2 out of 3 dishes were incorrect, and we had to wait forever for the waiter to come back from socializing at the next table to fix it, and another eternity for him to bring back the right order. Then we ordered more drinks, and he never came back with them. He only came back at the end of our meal with the check. It wasn't even crowded-- there was only one other table! The people next to us received their order incorrectly, and had to speak to the manager. The waiter did not care, did not apologize to anyone, and made no attempt to demonstrate any professionalism or manners. The food we got was decent, so I would recommend this to anyone who isn't picky about their food or having an attentive wait staff. If you want to hang out and be left alone to catch up with friends, this is a great place for you.

Go here for the location, stay for the food. My boyfriend and I went here early on a Saturday night, and both enjoyed our meals. I got the clam chowder and a tofu and chicken stir-fry. My boyfriend had a salad and a burger he really liked. Our server was great, and the overall value pretty decent. It's worth a visit on a nice summer night.

WOW! This place is a huge improvement from Skyline. The outside seating area is a lot nicer and more spacious. The bar is really neat because you can sit at it inside or outside. They also have plenty of indoor seating as well as a function room upstairs (which has been all re-done!). The food is really great! The wine selection is also good (maybe I am bias because they are only one of the few places to carry my favorite wine). The service was also good. I would say an all around great place to go, especially in the summer.

We were hesitant to go because of the reviews, but we tried it because of the location. We were satisfied. We had the chowder, nachos, tuna tartar, salmon entree, lobster mac n cheese and fried scallops. All was delicious. Service was fine and friendly. Place was clean. We were in and out in an hour. I would definitely recommend.

My husband and I were very excited to try Port 305, but unfortunately our hopes for a new good restaurant in Marina Bay were unsatisfied. While the space is a huge upgrade from the Skyline restaurant that used to occupy the same location, the food fell far short. My pear and scallop salad was an odd combination of over-cooked, unseasoned scallops (and a small portion at only 5 medium-sized ones), soggy cooked pears, and pieces of broken cornbread (billed as "cornbread croutons" but completely soft - it seems they just broke a piece of bread over the salad). The result was not a good-tasting meal. My husband had salmon, which was just a glazed salmon fillet with plain brown rice. No vegetables, nothing else. Taste was mediocre. Not really up to par for an ~$18 dish! The place has a great bar, so if you're going to go I'd recommend just hanging out there and staying away from the food.

If it wasn't for Rose, one of the bartenders, it would have been a 1 star. The place cleaned up well from when it was skyine but the service was horrible except for rose. Two people sat next to us and waited for 20 minutes to get served on. There were two girls just walking back and forth. Thankfully, we got there shortly before Rose left. We sat down and she helped us right away. She knew her drinks and knew where everything was. She had to keep telling the other bartender where things were. We asked Rose what her schedule was because we would enjoy the establishment when she is there. She said she is not sure yet so I am sure we'll pop in to see if she is there, if not I don't know if I would be willing to try it again after the poor service from everyone else there.

Four of us girls ate here last night to celebrate a birthday. We were seated outside right away, around 7:00 on a Thursday night. I had red sangria, which was really good. We got the scallops and bacon for an appetizer. So yummy! I had the margarita (beefsteak tomato, fresh mozzarella, basil, and olive oil) grilled flatbread for an entree. It was delicious but pretty small. (Everyone else's portions were big, so I was a little disappointed that mine wasn't.) I tried my friend's lobster mac and cheese, which was sooo tasty. She loved it too. And I also tried my friend's buffalo chicken quesadilla, which was very good and just spicy enough. My main complaint about last night was the service. Our waitress was nice but disappeared for such long amounts of time. We waited forever to put in our dinner orders, and she barely checked back with us to see if we needed more drinks or anything. Overall it was a great time, though. Beautiful night and view of the marina. I'd definitely go back.

Nice place, great setting on the boardwalk and they do a great job with the food. Service can be hit and miss depending on who you get

I went here with my girlfriend last week on wednesday night. We sat at the bar outside that faces inside the restaurant. We ordered the buffalo chicken quesedilla and the bbq chicken flatbread pizza. Both were delicious. I like the location right near the dock. It is a nice restaurant with reasonable prices (for being right on the water). Somehow we ended up with a waitress and then a waiter all of sudden started to take our orders. Staff was pleasant and i would definetly go back here again. Great views as well.
