Chipotle is life. There is literallly nothing better that chicken and rice for me. Its fast and super convenient on the go. It's literally a life saver when you're dying and famished. Most of the time I get the salad bowl with carnitas, green salsa, corn salsa, mild salsa and of course guac. Everything works well and tastes delicious. It's actually relatively better nutrition wise compared to other fast foods. The only negative thing that I could give chipotle is that the customer service discrepancy between locations. When I go to some places, the people serving me are extremely quick and super friendly while others on another hand, make me want to never come back.

WARNING! The WORST chipotle I've EVER been to and I loooove chipotle. I drive 10 minutes out of my way to go to the chipotle on Braintree! Management needs to get replaced. New manager needs to then replace most of their employees. Half-cooked gross chicken is pretty common. The place itself is wicked dirty. Chipotle is known for their long lines but the employees are usually efficient. NOT this location.

They give a lot of meat, but the wait is absolutely ridiculous. Also, this Chipotle isn't the cleanest and there is limited seating. Unfortunately, there's not many food options in Quincy, so I do some here from time to time out of desperity.

This Chipotle sucks! Slow service.. Place is always a mess... Staff could care less about the product... Always packed.. Zero urgency. A woman in front of me wanted fajita veggies on her burrito which? Of course, they were out of. Instead of moving the line along.. And letting the woman wait for her veggies.. The entire line was held up for about 3 minutes... While we waited for her veggies... . And the chips are always stale. .... Always...

Okay..I came back here and gave it a 4 star rating for the cleanliness of the place! BUT, after what I saw the last time I dined here..I will NEVER step foot in this place again. After buying my regular burrito bowl and sitting down in my regular spot and just watching all the workers "behind their glass." I watched all the workers including the register girl who was taking money from all the customers..(YES! The dirty filthy money..with no gloves on) go into the tortilla chip bowl and continuosly just keep taking chips from the bowl and eating them right behind the counter..The worst part of it all is the one at the register would go from register to bowl..register to bowl..I was completely sickened. OH..that's not all. There's this one girl that works there that always has a big let's say "chip" on her shoulder. She was actually talking about "YELP"! A matter of fact she was talking about ME! YES! ME! She was talking about my "YELP!" How I gave the place 4 stars and said the manager was on her hands and knees scrubbing the chrome..etc. Then she began to bash my review on the place and then bash the manager and say how much of an asshole she was and how much she hated her. I will never EVER go back to this place...NO THANKS!

This place is a few steps away from one of my work places. I have been to one more Chipotle before a couple of years ago. This is a rather small Chipotle. Not too much seating. So around lunch time when I went there with another coworker, it was almost full. We barely managed to get a round high table for 2 to share. In this cold weather, we decided to drive despite the short distance, another big challenge when it comes to parking spots as their private parking lot is very tiny. You are better off parking at Stop n Shop lot across the street. All these semantics aside, what really matters at the end of the day is the food. This Chipotle wasn't any different than the one that I had been to before. I had a burrito bowl. The choices were Carnitas, rice, hot sauce, sour cream, corn, lettuce and salsa. The quantity was decent - not too big a portion, nor too small. The flavors were ok. I liked the heat from the hot sauce which was definitely to my liking. The Carnitas were quite bland and I wish they had the smokiness of the flavors that I tend to expect from my Mexican food. It is fast food served by a well trained staff that do a great job of fixing your lunch options which are very simple and straightforward: Nachos, Burritos, Bowls or Salads. For a place right next to where I work, I had to try it once. Quite sure this would not be my go to lunch option. Here are my rating splits: Food: 3/5 Ambiance: 2/5 Service: 4/5 Value: 3/5

Fresh, very fresh, ingredients. Good price, good food, huge servings. They close at 10 which is sometimes too early for us. Menu is limited to Mexican only. The interior is 'cold' in design so I've only done take out.

I love this Chipotle. The staff is friendly and usually do a pretty decent job with my burrito that I basically get every ingredient in. Yah, there are a few people who aren't great but its the same anywhere that you go. All in all I'm happy as a clam to have a Chipotle so local and I for sure go like once a week.

1984 has happened, I love Big Brother. 1+1=3. I like Chipotle now. Or maybe I just hate traffic on 93. I don't know. But I've been a few times and it seems like it's better each time I go. The staff is always really friendly now at this location. And on more than one occaision, I've caught them dumping old meats that have been sitting and putting in fresh ones instead. That's good. Nobody likes to see the dried-out bottom of the pan steak or chicken going into their burrito. The last time I went, there was some mix-up and they wound up giving me my burrito free of charge. And the burritos have been consistenly hot and well made. I'm updating this, well, they deserve it.

  • Moodie Dudie ..

The burritos are decent for the price. It is very big but bigger isn't always better, I have to say Taco Bell items are kinda better except for their melted cheese, just doesn't look right to me.

Chipotle has a simple menu, but the burritos and tacos are yummy. Steak marinated in tobasco sauce makes one hell of a taco (or three). This specific location is kept clean and food is consistently well prepared and tastes great. The chips and green chili salsa are delicious. Only 4 stars because the menu is kind of limited, but if I were to compare it to taco bell I would give Chipotle a thousand stars. If you haven't had Chipotle yet, give it a shot.

Are you serious? Ok... first things first, Chipotle only has 5 choices for burritoes. They include 2 kinds of beef, one carnitas, one chicken, and one veggie. How sad. This place charges WAY too much for burritos. All of the meat burritoes are over 6 dollars. Unlike other popular burrito places like Anna's or Felipe's, where a large burrito with meat will run you under five dollars. Here, to add guac to your burrito cost $1.75. WHAT?! Everything is way over priced. I sat under some pipes and got dripped on multiple times - they need to get that checked out. And the service is horrible. The servers are breaking every other burrito they're making. If only they'd stop shoving so much stuff in there! I've never seen anyone breaking at Anna's or Felipe's. In addition, the cashier let someone cut in front of us to get chips and salsa when we were suppose to pay next.

I am a huge Chipotle fan - but i was disappointed with my visit to the Quincy Chipotle today. I arrived around 4:00 today and it was pretty slow. In fact, they were interviewing an interesting character at one of the tables near the cashier. There was no one behind the counter when we walked in. Someone one in the kitchen hollered at someone in the office and eventually made their way out to take our order. The meat and sauteed peppers and onions were dried out as they had been sitting in the bin for awhile. I compensated with extra salsa. I've been there before and I'll definitely go back. It is my closest Chipotle, but I'll try to catch them at a better time.

I'm a bit shocked at the lack of love Chipotle is getting. Though on the pricier side (versus Anna's and other burrito joints), the food is decent and super filling. It's true, some of the employees at this Chipotle need to get a crash course in burrito wrapping, but I always opt for the burrito bowl - so no complaints here. As a frequent lunch option at our office, I find the ingredients to always be fresh and really well seasoned. (Though one co-worker gripes that the tomato salsa is too onion-y for her liking.) It also seems that my fellow yelpers have an issue with the customer service. I have to say, every time I've been there the customer service has been great -- pleasant at the very least. Before they had the online ordering up and running, we faxed in a rather large order and confirmed via phone. When we went to pick up the food, it wasn't ready so we had to wait. The manager gave us a few free burrito coupons to thank us for waiting. We weren't there for more than 5 minutes, but we weren't gonna pass up free burritos. The one thing that keeps Chipotle from having 4 stars is the guac. I'm sorry, but $1.75 for guac on your burrito is silly. Downright highway robbery. A mockery to the burrito! First: really, Chipotle, how much guac are you giving me in my burrito? A teeney scoop? When I do opt for the guac, I get it on the side so at least it comes in that little tub. But srsly. How can you have a burrito with no guac? For shame, Chipotle! For shame!

I've only been to this location, but came here after a horrible experience at Anna's probably 2 weeks before. I was skeptical about having another "fast food" burriito, but the guy behind the counter at Chipotle was so nice and friendly to each person in our large party of 6+ people, that I was soon put at ease. I got the barbacoa burrito and stuffed it with sour cream, black beans, guacamole (add extra $), and the best salsa ever -- it was medium spiciness and chock full of grilled corn and other goodies. It def. gave my burrito some kick! I was surprised how well my burrito was put together. I seriously thought the thing would rip and fall apart since it seemed like there was 5 lbs. of meat and fillings combined. Miraculously, it never fell apart and I ate 3/4 of the burrito on an early Saturday afternoon. I won't go back to any of the Anna's locations, Qdoba is only okay, but will definitely try Chipotle again.

I've never tried Chipotle before the time that I went here, but I've seen all the billboards, ads, and heard all the rave reviews about how they are suppose to be so good. Unfortunately I don't think that it was all that great. The selection was pretty basic, not that much to choose from. I got a burrito with chicken, it was alright definitely not the best I've had. It left me with such a bad taste in my mouth that I had to stop and get another drink.

  • Nat P.

When the Nat Dogg wants a burrito, Nat Dogg goes to Chipotle. They are the leaders in the burrito industry. So why one star Nat? Well, this Quincy location is what is known as the loser location. Terrible service, skimpy fillings, and stale ingredients. Quincy and its residents deserve better. I only came here after a wild night at Ups and Downs and I needed my burrito fix right away. I guess I should stick to Boston and Cambridge Chipotle's. This Quincy location nearly ruins the reputation of the franchise for me. I almost rather eat at a Qdoba than this one.

you're certainly not going to get haute cuisine at a chipotle, but i'm happy they're here and hope they stick around. quincy was missing a burrito-only place for nights when there isn't the time or the inclination to hit la paloma so imagine my excitement when, after seeing this property vacant (except the 3 months there was a henry's root beer here), that maroon chipotle sign went up a mere 2 blocks from my place. burritos are definitely a bit more than they used to be, but i can't say $14 - $15 for a delicious, filling, quick dinner for two is a horrible thing. i've had them all (not as cool as it sounds, there's only 5 or 6) but the staff is accommodating with special requests and "a little more of this" or "a little less of that" which is nice. i usually go for whichever kind of meat looks the freshest, but they offer steak (2 kinds), pork and chicken. they have a good selection of salsas (i like mixing the mild and the roasted corn) and the hot salsa is actually hot (not restaurant hot, which is moderate at best). yes, the guac is $1.75 extra, but they give you a pretty big scoop for the extra dough, so i go for it. throw in some rice, beans, lettuce, cheese, and sour cream and you are good to go. the space itself is about what you might expect. sort of a postindustrial factory/loft/clean/metal-panels-and-wood affair. i don't know. i live 2 blocks away, so i don't stick around once my burrito's in the bag, but it's not bad. they keep it clean and there is an enclosed area outside with additional seating, which i would totally go for in the warmer months if they had beer. since they don't i'll sit on my balcony. and drink beer. one thing i do not like about this location is the parking lot. it's easy in, but next to impossible out. not chipotle's fault by any means, but they are at a busy intersection and the lot dumps you right at the light. it's fine if you are continuing up newport towards dorchester or hitting the ramp to squantum street. since i have to go left off of newport ave. at said intersection . . . it gets . . . tricky. . . . but i'm a massachusetts driver so i make it happen. i also wish they had some type of frequent flyers card. a buy 10 get one free sort of thing. ah well.

Crappy ambiance, even for a fast food joint. No interesting choices to speak of, and really high prices. If you're going to have the first two, prices should be rock bottom. Avoid this place, even if you have the money to burn. Go spend it at a place that cares about the food, not the franchise.

A one is a little harsh for this place but Imma give it two stars. They just don't give you good enough quality food and quantity is TURRIBLE for what you pay. Its about 7.50 or so for a godamn steak burrito which they insist on giving you more filler than meat. The burrito maker scooped some steak and a piece fell into the chicken pile and he followed to pick that one tiny piece out and throw it out. Mind you there is probably no more than 3oz of meat overal in the burrito. Also a burrito from chipotle has appoximately 1,000 calories and I am not full after eating one? ...... Yuck pass like steve nash on this one.

yummy!!!! so i walk in and see the menu. it looks rather limited. and i was thinking that eating just a burrito is gonna do nothing for me because i was hungry. so i got the burrito and chips. but let me tell you my burrito was sooooo delicious and filling i had to force myself to finish it. my husband ate up the chips (i could only fit about 2) soooooo good. they make it right in front of you so you can tell them how much of each ingrediant to put on it (me-lots of pico very little beans) i thought the price was super cheap for the quality/quantity of food. i will be back!!!

    (4)
  • B C.

I get a salad bowl (no rice, no cheese, no sour cream) and they're pretty cheap with everything but the lettuce. I pay the extra $2+ for guacamole and they 'tap off' the spoon till there's half a serving and want to charge you AGAIN if you ask for a little more. Really don't know why they are so cheap at this Chipotle!!

My kids and I went to Chipotle on 7/8/15 needing a quick quasi-healthy meal with sit-down opportunities while we were on the go. Before we sat down, I noticed a couple of drops of water on the end of the table (one of only two tables available at heights that kids could sit at). I assumed this was water left from a table wiping (good thing). We sat at the other end of the table. Half-way through the meal I noticed water dripping from the ceiling and splashing into my daughter's food. When I looked up, I noticed corrosion on the HVAC ducts and water running down the wall (brown at the bottom of the drip). There were several spots with similar problems. I mentioned this to a staff member who said a HVAC company had been called. We dumped our food and left. When I reached out to Chipotle almost a week later, the problem still had not been resolved. Has the ceiling been dripping since the restaurant was opened? Have they not cared to fix this? Here is Chipotle's response: Dan, I'm sorry you and your family's visit to our North Quincy restaurant last week wasn't top notch. Water dripping from the ceiling does't sound like a relaxing meal! I called Clinton, the General Manager, about your comment. He said the water is condensation from the air conditioning dripping from the pipes, and we're trying to figure out how to fix it. I'm looping in our Facilities Specialist to make sure we're getting on top of this, as well. Thanks for reaching out and putting this back on our radar, Dan. I'm confident we'll get things turned around in no time! Your friend in the burrito biz, T*** Customer Service Coordinator Chipotle Mexican Grill And still on 7/14/15: Dan, I heard back from the General Manager and he let me know that we had an HVAC team out this morning to look at what we can do to remedy the problem. And we are actively working to get a solution in place ASAP. Best, T***

This is a Chipotle. They serve burritos. As far as Chipotle goes, this one is average. Sometimes when a lot of people want burritos, it takes longer to get my burrito. Ive been stuck in the massive lines to get my food from this busy location. Some people view this as a bad thing, but i've noticed the ingredients are always fresh since they're constantly running out of stuff and having to make more. Here is how I get my burritos within 30 seconds of walking through the door. 10 minutes before I leave the house, I log into my chipotle app (for iphone, dunno about other platforms). I place my order through a series of very intuitive click throughs. I receive my email confirmation. When I arrive, I walk straight to the cash register and past the massive line that curves past the drink machine. I tell the cashier im picking up an order and if im paying credit, im out the door within a few minutes tops. I always order double meat with extra corn salsa and they never disappoint.

This being the closest Chipotle to my job i had no option but go to this one. There's always a ridiculous line but that is not the problem. I got the burrito bowl as take out. when i get to my job to eat it the rice was so under cooked it crackled when i chewed it. The chicken was also taste less and cold. My job is a 5 minute drive away and with the 90 degree blazing heat outside i didn't understand how the chicken was cold. I enjoy the heat so i didn't even turn my AC on in the car. so i couldn't comprehend how the meat got as cold as it did and everything else was hot unless it was cold from the start. This chipotle is food poisoning waiting to happen. Never again.

I'd like to share an experience that I had at this location a little more than an hour ago. I walked in at 11:45 am hoping to avoid the busy lunch rush, intending to order a chicken burrito and a steak burrito. As I neared the ordering counter, the customers were informed that they were out of chicken and if we wanted to wait, we could. A few of us waited and allowed others behind us not ordering chicken, to cut ahead. It was almost, a ten minute wait and I was very close to leaving and going elsewhere. I was growing impatient because from the looks of the back of the house staff, there was no sense of urgency on their part. No hustle and no real concern on their part that there was a line of waiting customers growing angry. Not to mention the front of the house staff who were forced to yield angry looks from customers and explain why they were out of chicken (and black beans.) The chicken was back on the line, and they started moving the customers (including myself) alone. Now, I was a bit irritated for having to wait under the circumstances mentioned above, but what makes me give a four star review is the fact that the (front of the house) staff were absolutely kind, friendly and professional. They didn't lose their cool. They didn't treat the customers poorly because they were in an unpleasant position. They simply smiled, got the job done and kept customers happy. Added to this, they comped my chicken burrito for the inconvenience, which was a nice surprise. So my point here is, the staff's professionalism and friendliness made me a happy customer. I wish more establishments worked well under the same type of pressure. ***in addition, let me just say that since this location opened (2008?), I have been stopping by on average, once a week or sometimes once every other week. Although there have been instances here and there of a slacker employee, no forks, no ice in the soda machine, etc.. I'm realistic enough to know that these things happen in the restaurant industry. If I stacked these incidents' up against all the times that service has been stellar, they would be non-issues in my mind. I wouldn't return time after time after all these years if the staff weren't friendly and the place was a dump. I'm very picky and quick to dismiss any place that gives continual bad service. This Chipotle location, is definitely not one of them.

  • Tsui S.

I asked for brown rice, but got white. Later, I came back and asked for extra salsa. After taking quite awhile to put the salsa in a cup, the associate straightened the rest of the cups and lids before walking away without handing me the salsa. I had to ask the cashier to hand me the salsa, which she did while copping an attitude and not even an apology. I know they were busy, but it takes no time to be friendly. I may never come back to this chipotle again. NOT TO MENTION THAT MEN'S RESTROOM WAS DISGUSTING. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.

This place is a bit difficult when it comes to parking and exiting but that's where the problems end. The staff is great. They are very social and genuinely seemed to enjoy working there. The burritos are packed full and the price is reasonable. Highly recommend this location.

  • Kris M.

The portions have gotten a lot smaller over the past year. I would say that they are half the size, even the double meat now is the same as normal meat size a year ago. Also, the chicken does not always seem to be cooked enough. Overall, this location is not good anymore.

  • Moses P.

Another update. This location still sucks. What a shame. I'm never going to this one again. You would think that after a month with a new manager things would change but nothing has. They've gotten rid of the carpet that smelled like garbage and that's just about the only improvement. You still have dirty serving stations. You still have nasty bathrooms. You still have a bunch of angry people serving you food and unhappy to be there. I get it, I get it. I worked at Dunkin Donuts for YEARS and food service is not the easiest. But it wouldn't hurt you to not get annoyed when you ask me what kind of food I'll be having that evening. Yes, you read that last sentence correctly. So disappointed, never coming back here again. My wife and I vowed never to come back to this location again. And we never will.

  • Matt S.

Let me start off with the fact that I am a Chipotle fan - you won't hear me bad talk Chipotle food. This is a review for their service. This Chipotle is awesome! Yes there is always a line out of the door at this location, but somehow they still keep the service top-notch. My office normally places very large orders online to avoid the 12 o'clock lunch line and we have never had a bad experience - actually, all of the experiences we have are great (and that includes special orders, extra this or that, and even quesaritos). You will almost always wait in a line at this location but because of the foot traffic here, you will always get one of the best and freshest burritos.

    (4)
  • Tom M.

I love chipotle and have it almost daily. This location is easily the worst in the area - consistently below mediocre. Always a line, employees couldn't care less, food is never hot, not the most sanitary (I've seen the same guy eating chips while making them with no gloves and another time wipe his nose on the back of his hand with gloves on and then start mixing chips). Literally always smells like shit. Seems like nobody cares that they're at work. Wouldn't recommend unless you are really craving Chipotle and can't make it to the SSP.

I got Chipotle tonight and then watched Family Guy. Hilarious. Between good and garbage, it's Chipotle! Hilarious. Service was good though (skip steak as a filling)

Most of the people who work here have an attitude problem, both with customers and with each other. Don't put a finger on the glass partition or you'll get yelled at. The food is as good as any other Chipotle.

This place is overrated doesn't compare to Anna's. It just doesn't. The burritos are pricey and it was okay. I don't see what is all the rave about this place.

  • Merieka T.

The worst service ever!!! my whole family loves chipotle and we have been doing online order for years. I ordered tonight and was given a pickup time of an hour and half later!! My husband was picking up on his way home, and they made him sit and wait for 45 minutes until the time on the online order to fill the order!!! Worst customer service i've experienced in a while.

  • Keven C.

This place was just gross looking. Not one of the best. The rice was undercooked the guacamole was brown like it had been sitting out since last week and over all the food was not good at all. They also need to clean there counters where they make the food off more often. That was really concerning how unsanitary that looked. I hope I don't get sick

    (1)
  • Adrienne U.

This location is absolutely HORRIBLE. Corporate should really step in and shut this one down. No forks or chips 8 pm on a Saturday. Filthy, slow and just down right horrible service. Cashier stepped out from behind the counter to pay for her PIZZA THAT SHE HAD DELIVERED. Are you kidding me? This place is atrocious. Ruins the chipotle name.

    (1)
  • Kimberly Y.

The food is pretty standard compared to other Chipotle locations. The service could use some work though. While assembling my burritos the workers were chatting and laughing with each other. I telling them what I wanted in my burrito and wasn't sure if they were listening to me or to each other. I had to repeat myself a couple of times and there were instances when they were laughing then look at me and then to each other. Were they laughing at me?? I have no idea but they were just plain RUDE. I only come here when I crave chipotle but if based on customer service I'd probably never set foot here again.

    (2)
  • Carmine O.

Food is decent, if there is ever a line it moves quickly. I'm not a fan of seeing the cooks drinking out of cans and keeping the can on a prep table. If anything runs out it is replaced in minutes.

    (4)
  • Shaun C.

I have gone to this place multiple times and every time the portions of the food seem to be getting smaller. In the past the portions used to be a lot more. It was a major reason why I liked this place and continue to go. But lately I find myself not wanting go to this place due to the quantity of food received. Also I find the works here to be friendly and kind, but lack professionalism. Examples are seen in allowing friends in the back, eating in front of customers, and making lots of unnecessary noises. Overall the place is ok, but needs to go back to the old way of running things.

I love chipotle. I usually frequent the one in Braintree but i have come to this location several times and each time i go i am always disappointedS The employees are rude and more interested in each other then their customers. The food is usually way over seasoned or cold. I hope corporate does something about this location. I can only imagine how many customers they have lost already because of this location.

  • Michelle W.

Not a huge fan of bashing on places via yelp however I am truly annoyed by this specific location. I called and said "I'm sorry to be difficult but the last few times I have ordered pick up the order has not been correct I would just like to make sure that I pick it up correctly today" .. The man who answered was extremely rude and instead of extending an apology only said "um okay". As a former server I understand that mistakes happen but an apology is always appreciated. Well, once again I get home and open the burrito bowls and they are all wrong again. The thing that infuriates me is that they're all missing the meat and have onions and peppers in them. I did not order veggie bowls. Annoying bc meat obviously costs extra. Needless to say I will not be ordering from this chipotle anymore.

Awesome customer service today!! Thanks to the staff for making our visit today very pleasant. We waited in line for awhile for our chicken burritos however, in the end the experience was very positive one. The staff handle very well in a high volume of customers demand situation. Keep up the good work folks! Came in around 1:30 PM on a Sunday

Sunday 8pm. Out of chips. NO CHIPS!!! Has anyone ever been to a McDonalds that was out of fries? Anyone? Because I have never had that experience in 43 years. But, this Chipotle location is out of chips on a weekly basis.

Worst Chipotle I have ever been to. I live down the street and love Chipotle but will never go back. Staff is either incredibly dumb or incredibly stoned. Wait time is about 5 minutes per person. It's so bad that once they start making your burrito, it's cold by the time it gets wrapped. It's messy too, like so messy they shouldn't be able to call themselves chipotle. Drive the extra distance to go to a different one. This is the worst and the owner should be ashamed.

The food is great because it's chipotle but the service consistently sucks here. Don't come if you are in any kind of a rush, regardless of the time of day.

I have to downgrade the rating on this abysmal Chipotle location. They're so consistently bad that it's genuinely comical. Highlights from my last visit: - slow, so so slow... just crawling... toddlers would be able to serve faster - four employees staffing the entire restaurant during dinner rush - the dude manning the 1st station was pushing out burritos as fast as possible, no matter how backed up everything else was... this meant your food got cold waiting for the salsa & condiment stations - we all watched as the one person responsible for wrapping burritos seemed fundamentally incapable of actually wrapping one, and nobody helped (let alone the manager, who was too "busy" to help her swamped employees) - as always, the place was filthy, the temperature freezing, and the music loud Whomever owns this particular store needs their head examined. (Thankfully, Chipotle's food is so hard to screw up that despite their best efforts, the food often turns out edible, albeit cold).

Once again, the Quincy location lets me down! I stopped in Sunday evening to pick up 2 burritos. There were about 6 people in line ahead of me, which is no problem usually. I observed 7 people behind the counter, with one employee in the line getting his dinner meal and joking around with the people behind the line. This is EXACTLY what happened the last time I had a bad experience there. No one was really on the ball. I ordered a carnitas bowl and a chicken burrito. First guy in line starts the bowl, sees there is no chicken - puts my tortilla on foil back where the guy is about to cut the chicken. It sits there while he sharpens the knife (directly over the pile of cooked chicken - nice!) then the bowl sits there while other orders are started. So I'm standing there watching them prep other burritos. There are little to no beans left. I watch a girl scoop out what amounts to water with a few beans on someone's burrito. Ugh. Then the chicken is finally cut, and attention returns to my order. A girl finishes the bowl, then drags my burrito across the prep counter - which is smeared with old guacamole, lettuce, and globs of "stuff". Sounds really delicious doesn't it? Now I'm starting to think this is pretty gross. My burrito is done, and she tries to roll it up into foil, and while doing so, pulls a bunch of lettuce up off the counter into my foil. Again, how gross is that? OK, I just want out of there at this point. It's backed up - no one seems to really care about expediting orders - it just makes you want to leave - and quick! I pay my $16.32 and leave - bag in hand. So I get home, and decide I will simply make my own bowl out of my chicken burrito, as it looks pathetic. Get my wife situated, sit down and take a bite - and guess what?? It's STONE COLD. One would think if it had been cut while I stood there, the chicken might at least be WARM??? Nope. COLD as a ROCK. I'm a frequent diner at Chipotle, but this is pathetic. Sixteen bucks for food that's not only unappealing to look at - but awful to eat? Not going to happen. I'll spend my money elsewhere. It used to be awesome. The manager was great. Looked out for his customers. Not any more. Oh and the employee sitting out back smoking a butt was very appealing to see as I left. Too bad he was busy smoking. They could have used his help inside!

I've been going to this particular Chipotle since they opened some years back. The quality of the ingredients is quite good. The service can vary, but most of the time I'm pleased with the experience. Usually the portions are generous, with the occasional employee who holds back on rice, beans, or meat. The burrito wrapping is something I've had unpleasant experiences with, where best case scenarios have the employee re-wrapping one that is slightly torn to burritos so loosely wrapped that they barely hold together. So I started just getting the burrito bowls, which seems to be more food for the same price, usually. This location can be extremely busy during a weekday lunch rush. The parking lot is often full at this time, with people parked in additional creative spots. There's a Stop and Shop across the street, with a controlled intersection nearby, where a person might park if Chipotle's lot is full.

super pissed. just left this location. staff didnt want to be working and were rushing and skimpy on everything. the reason im so mad is because i drove far to this location and got the food to go and realized when i got home they didnt give me the chips and guac they charged me for. they dont answer the phone either. waste of time money and gas.

I LOVE Chipotle but this location SUCKS! The people who go to this Chipotle won't bother to read this review but I will write it anyway. The stuff does not give a damn about the way they make the burrito. They are constantly running out of tortialla, or bread or barbacoa. Horrible management. On some times they play annoying music at non-human decibel level. Why are they closed on New Year's day? It is a fast food restaurant!

Their super burrito is a challenge to finish. It comes in $9 with all the trimmings (guacamole and sour cream), but will last a normal person 2 satisfying meals. For me, I get full at the 90% mark and see no point saving 10% --and I definitely wouldn't consider discarding it -- so I loosen a notch in my belt and keep going til every bean and rice granule is in my tummy. I'd get some napkins because the burrito is so jam packed that it turns into a burrito bowl in your palms. I made the mistake of driving and eating; at the red light, drivers of adjacent cars gasped in horror to see an Asian girl mash her face into what appeared to be a handheld plate. Don't judge me-- Ya'll don't know me! Disclaimer: The giant burrito is about 1200 calories so if you do what I do, which is stuff my face, walking might be difficult in the ensuing few hours.

The b team came in that night and ruined my burrito. Terrible service and no coke from the fountain machine. This place is terrible.

Gummy tortillas that the plastic knives could not cut, rushed service, cold rice and a paltry amount of meat in my burrito earned this Chipotle a 2-star rating. I used to prefer Chipotle to the other mega-burrito maker - Qdoba - but the latter's more varied choices, special burritos and more generous portions put them ahead. P.S. Mr. Manager: If you go through the motions of circulating in the dining room to ask customers how their meals are, at least wait for them to respond before moving on. I have been driving by this location on my way to and from work since it opened, and I've thought about trying it several times. On the rare occasion that I buy lunch at work, though, Panera usually wins. Today was a trainwreck of a morning, so I didn't have time to pack lunch, and on my way to work, I decided I would try Chipotle. Especially after watching "America's Next Great Restaurant" and hearing Steve Els talk about his Mexican grill chain, I was tempted to put this place to the test against my favorite burrito joint. Chipotle was everything its CEO and founder promised and more. The location was clean. The menu was insanely simple. All four service staff behind the counter were pleasantly friendly and cheerful. The ingredients looked fresh, and I had the choice of customizing my chicken burrito several different ways: salsa, beans, rice, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, guacamole... all kinds of options. I opted for rice, no beans, cheese, sour cream, mild pico de gallo salsa and guacamole (at an extra charge). Everything was bundled up efficiently in a substantial, but extremely well-wrapped, burrito. I was in and out in under five minutes -- including the time it took me to ponder the menu. This Chipotle location certainly has the system down to a fine science. I walked out extremely pleased with my experience and anxious to get back to my desk and devour my (hopefully) tasty lunch. Man, it was tasty. My burrito was extremely satisfying and slightly spicy. I think it was gone in the same five minutes it took me to purchase it. Final verdict: Chipotle is a good option for a quick burrito fix. I thought it was slightly overpriced (compared to my regular burrito haunt, Anna's Taqueria), but the ingredients seemed to be slightly better quality. It didn't feel quite as authentic, but the service was definitely friendlier and less chaotic. I would definitely go back.

I love Chipotle, but this particular location is garbage. Every time I go, they have run out of some key ingredient such as cheese or rice. The last time I was there my burrito was cold to the touch and the meat seemed like it had been refrigerated. Given my past experiences at this location, I would rather go to the 99 across the street. Honestly... The 99.

The worst chipotle ever. They offer the worst customer service and are really rude to customers. They are horrible at reading the comments on the order. Never go here, unfortunately the only one in my area.

First I love Chipotle !!!! One of my coworkers ordered the whole office lunch and faxed over the order their fax machine apparently was not working, so when she went to pick it up is was not ready they were obviously busy cuz their food is so great!!! So they did rush and kinda messed up our order so I called and spoke with Jess I believe and their costumer service is GREAT she was very understanding and apologetic and took care of us. Even though there was a little glitch Chipotle is still our #1 lunch spot great people great food.

I live in Quincy and go out of my way to avoid this location. Slow service, not the most hygienic, seems as though everybody is in training. Disappointed on NUMEROUS occasions. Last time, they were out of rice and wouldn't expect another batch for another half an hour. The food was cold. Unacceptable. I will be contacting the general manager. Not good for branding.

All I wanted was some damn chips, but I guess having some in stock at 830p is simply too much to ask of this location. Maybe if the employees stopped playing grab ass for a couple minutes this wouldnt be a problem.... I ordered a burrito which was hastily slapped together by the giggly young woman behind the counter who cared more about whatever dumb teenage garbage that was going on than taking 30 seconds to be sure my burrito kept its shape. I'd like to give this location at least 3 perhaps 4 stars because Chipotle always has good food, but every time I come here there out of chicken or low on salsa or some other BS. Bah! Seriously though how the hell can you run out of chips!?!?

Well, I hate to start my yelp account off on a bad note, but after the experience I had today at this particular Chipotle, I think it is worthy. I went in today (a Sunday) and the first thing that I noticed was that the line was almost out the door. Now, it is important to note that there were absolutely no people sitting at any tables, so clearly there is no reason for them to be that backed up. The line ended up taking forever...I have never seen a slower Chipotle in my life (and I have been to many Chipotles in various cities). For a point of comparison, I used to frequent a Chipotle in Pittsburgh that regularly had lines out the door because they were absolutely slammed by health workers at lunch time. The difference between here and there is that the line out the door took about half the time at the Pittsburgh one as it did here in Quincy. I saw absolutely no urgency on the part of the staff. One of the girls just kind of stood over by the drink machines wiping things down and didn't seem to get until 5 minutes later that it would be a smart idea to come over and help with the register (since there was no one at the register). Maybe it just seems like common sense to me since I have worked in multiple food service jobs, but apparently not. The guy asking about cheese and sour cream proceeded to put mounds of each on my burrito even after I told him I wanted a little of both, at which point he zoned out and I had to say it 3 times for him to respond and take some off. As for the food itself, the burrito was very dry compared to other Chipotles and I struggled to get through it because of the ridiculous amount of sour cream. Looks like I will just have to stick with Falafel King if I am looking for my cheap Quincy food fix..

This Chipolte is hit or miss. The restaurant is on the smaller side but in the summer you can sit outside which is nice. The first time we were so unhappy with the flavor of the beef. Now I've only been having the chicken. I'm not a fan of the rice, it's a bit bland. But, I love the salsa and guacamole. It's A-OK

I have been working in North Quincy for just over a year now and only recently have I stopped into Chipotle, and now I can't STOP! Service at Chipotle has been fine, no major problems here. I've been greeted upon arrival, and attended to immediately. The Daryl Hannah doppelganger (as previously mentioned) is almost worth the cost of the trip alone, she also makes a mean burrito! I did have some trouble understanding the person who built my burrito the last time I was there though. He did have a thick accent, but usually that's not a problem for me, he just needed to speak up, as I had to ask him to repeat himself several times. To me, the burrito is the main attraction of Chipotle. So far I've tried the Chicken, Steak, and Barbacoa meat filling, and thus far the Chicken is my favorite. I thought the Steak didn't have a lot of flavor, and the Barbacoa was tasty, but a bit too spicy for my liking. You can choose your own filling including rice, beans (black or pinto), salsa, cheese, and sour cream. Their mild salsa is a pico de gallo (salsa fresca) and its basically chopped tomato, onion, and cilantro. I did try the hot salsa, but it was a little too hot for my tastes. They have other options such as tacos, salads, a burrito bowl (the entire burrito filling served in a bowl with no tortilla). For vegetarians they do also offer a veggie burrito with guacamole. Chipotle's value may vary by customer. $6.25 for a chicken burrito is moderate, I know there are cheaper places, but none of them are less than a mile from where I work. I've had about 4-5 burritos there now, and they've been fairly consistent, but some of the employees make better ones than others (see: Daryl Hannah). Beyond that I don't think there is much value. Nothing comes with the burritos, so if you want chips & salsa, they charge $2.05. Granted, you don't technically need them with a burrito, they do help make it a meal. For fountain soda, it's another $1.90, so overall you're not getting out of there for less than ten dollars, which is expensive for a lunch. I don't understand why there are so many negative comments about the atmosphere. Upon walking in the place has a nice modern/minimalist décor with a little Mexican culture thrown in here. This in comparison to the gaudy furnishings of some of some other restaurants, it's nice. Besides, I don't go to a restaurant to judge the art on the walls or the tiles on the floor. I would like to point out how much I love the music though. Most likely it's being pumped in from some satellite station, but kudos to whoever chose the station. One minute I'm hearing Radiohead, the next a bluegrass cover of Pink Floyd. For the most part the restaurant has been as clean as one can expect, both in the dining room and in the restroom, and the staff is presentable as well. They have an enclosed area to eat outdoors, which is a great option for those nice Massachusetts days. The location is decent, formerly a Henry's Root Beer Stand (sadly, a failed endeavor) and prior to that most likely a bank or something, Chipotle is trying to capitalize on a great location on a busy road just down the street from several large office buildings, but in a really inconvenient spot. Taking a right out of that parking lot is hard enough; don't even think about trying to bang a left. The parking lot is small, but I've never seen it packed there, so unless they start giving food away I don't think this will be a problem. Overall I have been very pleased with Chipotle, and I will continue to visit. My only major complaint is the value/price, if they added a combo where you could get a burrito, chips, salsa, and a drink for like $8, I would be ecstatic.

I avoided Chipotle thinking it was a subsidy of McDonalds for way way way too long. Fortunately, my proselytizing co-worker got me to look into Chipotle's website. Turns out, McDonalds Divested 5 years ago... and I can't stop going here. Sure, with Guac and other sides, it can add up to 8 or 9 bucks a burrito pretty quickly... but its a MASSIVE burrito for the price. This location is fast friendly and the food is fresh. I will be back... actually sending my co-worker out to get me some right now!

This location is definetly the best one for me. I used to come here all the time when I went to school down the street with my friend and we would stay here for HOURS. Literally. The employees never complained, the manager would often walk by... talk to us, ask us how our food was. I always love when they do that. We went there so much, we actually became one of the employees who worked there. So chill. On to the food, even though the menu is not extensive, it always hits the spot. Every time I eat here, I am reminded of why I love this place. I either go with the bowl or burrito w/ white rice, fajita peppers and onions, chicken or steak, lettuce, cheese, and lettuce. My burrito is always the size of my head, on a few occasions, the skin would rip. My only complain is that to add guac. (which is delicious) ... it is almost 2 dollars.

  • Charmie S.

I can't take this place too seriously. It's a good spot for when you're craving Ameri-Mex, or something of the sort! I'm going to comment on the brown rice and black beans that I usually get with my kids quesadilla. It is definitely a combo to stay away from. Brown rice has absolutely no flavor. Healthy does not have to equal gross. Ditto for the black beans. I might not notice the taste inside a burrito, but standing alone, it's hard not to. The chips here are super salt; I literally have to take a napkin and do a little dusting. Again, I think my first line says it. It is what it is, right?

I have been here several times. Generally 3 stars...2 when busy, because they are sloppy when in a rush. Not too long ago I was in there, and there were TWENTY TWO people in front of me! GAW! Don't go during the lunch rush!! I told them I wanted guacamole. They plopped guacamole on one end and quickly rolled it up. None on the other side. If they are charging extra for it...put it on the whole damn burrito!! It was not wrapped well..stuff was falling out. A few other times I have been to this Chipotle NOT during the lunch rush, and it was a whole different jalepeno...the staff were not rushed, the burritos were built much better, and there is just about always beyond friendly customer service, which I appreciate.

This Chipotle seems to give you more food than the one in Harvard Square. I ordered my lunch from Chipotle on Sunday and the food portion was huge, my fiance even said the burrito was enormous. There were only 2 other people eating in the restaurant at 12:30pm on the "First Snow" day of the season. It was nice to see the snow falling. But, I must say the aesthetics in this place are really wonky. The floor was an old concrete one, not unlike my elementary school cafeteria. It was glazed over with whatever you put on the floor to make it look glazed but it was all cracked. The place like I said, was not busy, so it was odd, since it was lunchtime -- but I bet this place is jumping during the week as it's on busy Newport Ave and there are several office parks around that area. The girl who took my order was nice, although I could swear the chips they gave me were salted waaay too much and they were STALE! Bad! Very very bad! Their guacamole isn't too exciting either. Disappointing. Back to the aesthetics. The couple next that we sat next too must have thought we were stalkers. The reason for my saying that is there are only four tables to sit at. The rest are all high bar stools and I want to be comfy when I eat my Mexican food, so I chose to sit at the table next to the couple. I wish this Chipotle had more regular tables and not stale chips and I'd give them another star. But, for now, TWO STARS.

This was the first time in history of Anyas love and addiction to chipotle that I could not finish my bowl. Let me say this: I love chipotle! I worship chipotle! I have a chipotle hoodie bought on ebay! I love their quack!!! Dear Chipotle, I am so disappointed, Im at lost for words. This is a disgrace. The guacamole was brownish!!!!! It was not made today, I dont think it was made the day before. It was salty, it was soo salty, I could NOT finish my bowl. The rice was overcooked, the salsas were blah. The staff didn't appear to care. They were chatting about their own business. The only good thing about this chipotle is the clean bathroom. Now, Im forced to make a trip to Cleveland Cicrle chipotle, as this one totally sucks and blows. Avoid this chipotle.

Holla Amigos, Chipotle's Mexican Grill offers excellent customer service and tasty Mexican food that will definitely 'hit the spot." The ingredients are consistently fresh with generous portions that will satisfy almost anyone's appetite. I've been a loyal fan of this location for the past 6 months. To this date, I've never been dissatisfied with the quality of the food. The staff are very cool and down to earth. They really seem to enjoy their jobs, placing strong emphasis on making sure the ingredients consistently meet customer expectations. The management staff is ready and able to help out the staff giving direction and leadership when needed. Advise: Mix it up, try different combination, and split a burrito with a friend; trust me, it will be more than enough. Special props for the outstanding guacamole- now if they can only lighten up on the salt for their chips?...otherwise, they might just get 5 stars. One last thing, the Daryl Hannah look-a-like; she is one cool cat peoples. Check her and the crazy staff out at Chipotle's because you've got to love'em. All the best, DC

It's like there. I drive past it EVERY day. So, why not try it? Try I did! They have very few choices. I got a burrito and it was just OK. It wasn't too tasty;pretty bland. However, the food is VERY filling. Don't order the chips and the burrito! I was stuffed. The staff there is very friendly and the prices are quite similar across the board. Inexpensive for the quantity of food and not terribly unhealthy. How to get there? Walk there from the N Quincy red line station or drive. Not far off 93. VERY small parking lot. You may end up parking across the street at the STOP N SHOP plaza and walking across a busy road. Would I go back? Nope. La Paloma is down the street and FAR BETTER. I don't particularly appreciate most chains.

My go to whenever I'm rushing to work, rushing home and there's nothing in the fridge, or just any old reason bc the food is great! My customizable burrito bowl and extra guacamole on the side to dunk tortilla chips flavored with a hint of lime hits the spot EVERY time. I'm a regular and adore management. The portions are enormous so for $10 after the extra guac and chips and drink I can definitely feed myself for two meals so definitely hit up this spot for a yummy time!

I LOVE this location, seriously blows the plaza location away. I love the staff here, and I've never gotten anything bad.The tacos, crunchy or soft are amazing! And the burritos, they're like the size of a newborn baby! I think it's definitely worth what you pay for, and the food they use is quality. I'm a huge fan of the chicken or carnitas tacos with no rice or beans, lettuce, mild salsa, sour cream and cheese... you should try it sometime! I will always consider this location the best and closest to me, seeing as how the parking is convenient, it's never too busy, friendly staff, and most important - fresh food! Update - writing this review made me hungry for tacos so I went over there for lunch, it was busy but I easily found a seat. The crew was very eager to serve me and the manager came and asked how my food was. He was going around cleaning tables and making sure everybody was happy with their meals. I think it's awesome to see an active manager on duty and was very pleased with my visit.

This Chipotle location consistently has quality service. There aren't great places to sit indoors if you are with three or more people, but during the warmer weather there is an outdoor patio. They also give bigger portions here than at other Chips I've been to. They even gave my friend a free burrito once because she goes so often. Just don't go during the lunch rush (12:30 - 1:30), because you will wait in line forever!

I am surprised how negative a lot of the reviews are. As fast food chains go, this place is A-Ok. I'm not gonna rave about it, it's hideous inside and the food is factory assembled, but it's tasty and super-quick. I like that they actually bring the heat a little with their salsas, and the meats are seasoned better than i might have expected in a place like this. Bottom line for me is that i feel much less horrible after eating here than i do after eating from any other place that serves me my lunch in 2 minutes flat. (I am not claiming it's any healthier for you, just that it isn't heavy and greasy and naptime inducing.)

Dearest Chipotle, You softened me up with your new billboard campaign and your circuit city wannabe exterior. I was hungry and looking for some starchy meaty goodness, so with the stars aligned, you were in the right place at the right time. I was pulled in and survived the bacteria on the floor and counters long enough to get a steak burrito with salsa. Thinking back, the suppressed memory of sheet metal, plastic and fake-wood resurfaces and I wonder if you did this to discourage dine-in customers. Your burrito was [insert adjective for not so good]. The shredded steak was tasteless and dry. And not dry in a beef jerky goodness kind of way either. Tastelessly dry. There weren't any noticeable seasonings in the salsa, rice or beans. And as a final eff-you, there was a piece of scotch tape surprise inside the burrito. Chipotle Quincy, I'll see you in hell.

Would I go here on my own, no - I hate chains. Did I try some of the guac and chicken bowl leftovers of my friend's ... sure. Guac was surprisingly decent ( only reason this place gets a 3rd star ) and the bowl was edible but generic and not spicy enough. There's something just too robotic about this place - did I mention I hate chains?

Food is equal to other Chipotle's, but the service is great. I don't know if I've been there at a time that the owner (i'm guessing) has not been present, which I'm sure makes a major impression on how the other employees function. We've always been very impressed with the owner's energy, good attitude, and presence. I do have to say that I wish the cilantro in the rice was separate. I enjoy the lime, but hate cilantro, & know that it holds things up to get the other rice & to add the lime juice individually.

great cold burritos. don't expect it to be warm. portions are good some times, but most of the time you don't get your moneys worth. counter staff looks like they just came from the carnival. pink hair. guys dressed in drag, boys in skinny jeans. SANITARY ISSUES ARE NOT THOUGHT OF HERE. i was in here found half of the staff were not wearing hats while cooking or serving food. thoughts go some where else if there not dressed properly. fill the steam tables with water so we can get a warm meal. true to 4 stars i am indeed a fan. But not without some controversy... First, I tried Chipotle a few weeks ago with some of the burrito crazed guys I work with (they swear by it). Since we only had limited time we opted to grab our food to go. My burrito that day was def a 1 star. I am told that I needed to eat in the establishment to get the full effect (desired hotness, freshness, etc...) So I figured I'd wait till I went back to review. Well...This past weekend was trip #2. WAY BETTER! For a few reasons. 1. I had the opp to try a burrito one way (on my not so tasty first trip) and adjust the filling to my taste. 2.The young Daryl Hannah look-alike behind the counter was also funny and knowledgeable and hello gorgeous!!!!!! Def enough to give a 2 star burrito joint 4 stars. Or at least enough to get me to go back for more. All in all, burrito was pretty good, but the service was excellent. I recommend going in when the Daryl look-alike is working and and ordering a burrito and eating inside.

Would give 0 if that was availible. This location has really gone down in quality. The food was cold and some of the corn tasted frozen. The server need training in how to wrap a burrito, she broke the first burrito and made it a second that leaked completely. The amount of serving was small too. I have frequent the restaurant many times and various location. I have to say this was the smallest 6 burritos ever made, on average about 25% less than elsewhere. If this is the way to adjust for profit, I don't think I will come back. All in all, very disappointed.

Its a chipotles. delisious but deadly. This one is funny tho cuz there's this blond girl that works here who is in obessed with lil wayne. anything you say to her she some how relates it back to little wayne. "can i have a burrito?" "omg you know what I heard on the radio today?" "no..." "Lil wayne said he wants to run for president. omg if he was president this country would be amazing" that conversation really happened.

Standard Chipotle fare. Good food, good value. I can't believe this location has survived as long as it has. This is one of a few cursed locations in Quincy which seem to have had a revolving door of businesses over the years (the old IHOP near Quincy Ctr, the building across from the Uncle Sam billboard other corner of Newport & Beale, etc.). So they must be doing something right if they made it at their current location.

I used this Chipotle to order food for 10 people for a Bachelorette party. They were fast, I was able to order on line and they labeled all the food with the individual peoples names. Not a single thing was off and all was pretty delicious for fast food

I love this Chipotle location! My husband and I have always had great experiences here. For a chain, semi-fast food restaurant, Chipotle is great! It's a great value for what you get and the people who work there have always been so nice. On the other hand, we have been to the Mansfield location and there was a noticeable difference, much smaller portions and the employees were barely pleasant. So, go to the NQ location for a great Chipotle experience!

Me?! Giving Chipotle 2 stars?! I didn't think this was possible.... i LOVE Chipotle!!!!!!! Sadly, yes... it's true. This experience today was only 2 star worthy. No one was there, which meant that the food had been sitting out for awhile. I hate to be wasteful, but if service is that slow... make the portions smaller. You still need to keep your product fresh, so every so often you need to toss what is getting dry/burnt. What saved this place from a 1 star review? A few things... #1 - I love chipotle #2 - private parking lot #3 - their guacamole is the BOMB and can cover up just about any flaws #4 - it kept me full from lunch onwards so no need to make dinner! I'll be back, it's the closest Chipotle to my house... but hopefully next time the food is a bit fresher.

This location SUCKS! compared to the one near my home in Medford. Management is horrible- I wanted my husband's cheese quesadilla xtra crispy and the manager burnt himself on the machine and gave a nasty look like it was my fault! I wanted a little tomatoes but the employees didn't listen and slammed the entire bucket on my bowl. Please hire people who listen to their customers and get better management GOD! They always feel like they are in a rush to get customers in and out- even when there is no one waiting behind me.

My prayers were answered when Chipotle opened in Quincy. I am a big fan of this burrito chain and Quincy was missing a burrito place. Chipotle is located within walking distance from the North Quincy T stop on the red line. The parking lot has ample parking, but is a bit tricky to pull out of. I have found the service to be friendly and efficient. They do a nice job of really stuffing the burrito full of whatever you want. I have always found the eating area to be clean and well-kept. In terms of price, I think Chipotle is right in line with other burrito places. I think it is reasonably priced for the amount of food you get.

Before even going into Chipotle, I already knew some scoring statistics: barring major divergence from corporate mandates, their the base menu would score them 0.398 stars for the tasty spicy meats and ease of customization, the size of their burritos would get them another 0.208, the varied and tasteful selection of music would give them another 0.074, and their polished wood mexi-figures and shiny walls that elevate sheet metal to legitimate decor instead of screaming "third world shantytown" would score them another 0.120. Those are the bonuses, mind you, on top of the 3 stars they get for having a roof and a bathroom. Thus, they hit the mat with an impressive 3.800. Parking: private. Nice, though not impressive for the area. +0.012 Staff: happy, friendly, accommodating and accurate! Smiling even in the middle of the lunch rush, cracking jokes with me whlie they restock the soda station, more than overshadowing the very minor bottleneck that developed in food prep. +0.308! Seating: indoors is fine, but hey also have an outdoor-ish seating area, open on one side and full of great light and very airy, while still providing shelter from some of those pesky elements. +0.181 Cleanliness: I didn't notice, so that's a good sign. A guy I was with ate a piece of fallen chicken off the table and didn't die, so there's that. +0.021 Free refills: present, but few points. That's pretty standard now. +0.002 Hella-pricey guacamole: damnit! I like guac. -0.071 ICE-COLD cheese and salsa or something that sent me looking for a microwave: -0.091 Final score: ...what, you added all that up? Don't you have a job or something?

Standard food. Far better than Taco Bell. More fore your money than Anna's Taqueria. Salty but good. $10 will get you a giant burrito with guar and sc and a drink.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
