The atmosphere is great, food and presentation are as well I do love the bar The biggest issue here, which is why I hardly go, is service The bartenders are good, don't get me wrong They need 3 maybe 4 bartenders on the weekend You wait FOREVER for a drink and to pay There is also lack of bar seating I wish they could extend the bar More bartenders and seating would bring me back but after going on Saturday , I realized why I never go! I waited to get a drink in knee deep people..and also to pay I stayed for only one drink bc two would be painful

I have been to the Roo a few times now and each time was an amazing food experience. The place has a very hip and industrial feel to it and the wait staff is very knowledgeable about the menu. Everything my lady friend and i tried has been outstanding. Very flavorful apps and entrees and good portions as well. Prices are well worth the quality. I look forward to our next trip to the Roo and hopefully it will be soon.

We had dinner entrees and thought it was just ok and a bit pricey. Pizzas look like they might be good - probably would get that if I went back again.

I will start by saying this is THE best food in Plymouth. The atmosphere is cool but casual. The bar is perfect, music on the weekends and a few flat screens for the game. Or sit out back in a more formal dining room or by the open kitchen and brick oven. I have yet to have a meal/app/slice of bread for that matter that wasn't perfection! Amazing selection of entrees will not disappoint! Only downfall is no WiFi, but your mouth and belly will be so happy with the experience you may not even notice! Perfect for date night, anniversaries, girls night out or any time you crave an amazing meal!

It pains me to give "poor" reviews. But when I had such high expectations for a place that advertises as "creative cuisine" and walk away feeling I could have had the same flavor experience at a McDonalds and same stomach feeling... It pains me. I made the reservations based on reading some of the yelp reviews... Shame on me for not checking the way I normally do. Shame on me for getting too excited when I see the ZAGAT ratings on the door. Maybe it was a bad day in the kitchen? Be that as it may, with a heavy heart, here I go: 1. If this is the best of Plymouth... I think I'll trek across the bridge and stick with Hyannis... 2. Decor: Interestingly eclectic. Funky and confused, but its a great attempt to revitalize old industrial buildings. If they could clean it up, it would make a better statement. A bit busy, like the bar countertop looking into an almost clean kitchen and a wonderfully smelling wood oven. 3. Service: After being so spoiled with service over the past couple of weeks, we found our greeter FANTASTIC but our server, nice but bland as bland can be. Nice, just not someone I'd call up and say I'd want again. Not that the food was worth coming back for. 4. Food - SIGH! Bearded PEI mussels, ashy colored, and yes, SERIOUSLY BEARDED and sandy. Not even gritty. Sandy. Like popping a teaspoon of sand in your mouth. I NEVER send food back. She was pleasant about taking it back... but... Then I ordered the veggie tempura. Ok. Super greasy, but not bad. A spinach salad with "crispy prosciutto" - the meat was limp and the salad was greasy, even though they were light handed on the dressing, as I had asked for - but not a bacon dressing by any stretch of the imagination. OVERLY red onioned, that weren't even cut through a mandoline to cut through the bite. Huge chunks of red peppers... not the type of creative interpretation you'd like to see on your salad. Sloppy, very sloppy. For another $8 added 3 pieces of nicely grilled steak tips that were cold and blue... I had asked for rare. Cold and blue. Serves me darn right for sending the mussels back and not pleading how much I loved them! And their very bland foccaccia. Last but not least, a lovely half charred, half undercooked pizza. Nice topping - scarce but nice crispy eggplant, boursin (this chef LOVES boursin, they use it in several dishes... why, only God knows), nicely "mozzarrellad" some fresh tomato chunks. This dish could have been a STELLAR pizza with another turn and getting it proportionally charred and letting the dough cook a bit longer, maybe get some char on the bottom. We couldn't wait to get the bill and run out. So underwhelming. So unnecessarily so. I wanted to love them and make it our stomping ground when in the area, but we left after a $60 bill (meal plus tip, only one drink which my husband liked - a spicy dirty martini). The look of the place and the hubub about its marketing left us seriously disappointed, and wishing we would have had McDonald's fries on our way back to Hudson. The place PACKS, which tells me a) its not for myself or any of my foodie friends who have come to expect flavor, cleanliness and service to be satisfying b) there may not be a lot to chose from in the area c) there may be discrepancies in the kitchen that could be fixed with a bit more focus? Who knows, Im not the expert. I just know the food wasn't what I expected. Sorry guys. I really wanted to love you!

Tonite the food was prepared poorly with very little saucing or seasoning. Normally food is rock solid but today disappointing. Service was fine and atmosphere contemporary but food was off...way off!
