I dream of their lobster club sandwich. Really. It has avocado and bacon and lots of lobster. So great. They have great but expensive appetizers. I would get an entree for better value. Salads are delicious! I like the portions, not too big, not too small. Everything I have had here I have liked. The service is excellent. The room is nice and big, and fairly quiet. I love their desserts. I once had a pannacotta here that I have thought about and wished for ever since! The bar is fun, and it has a nice fireplace. They have a great wine selection too.

Nice place in the norwood area. The service is good and the food is good as well. The restaurant is nice inside, decorated well and huge. The clam chowder here is really good. We got a few different dishes, the sirloin is great, the steak tips are really good. The short rib was ok, a bit dry. They changed the recipe. Overall nice place in Norwood.

I had a particularly bad day here. Perhaps other days are better. First, the person sitting next to me and I had a strong allergic reaction to something in the room. So, I had to leave the restaurant for some air. When I returned, the waitress spilled wine on my trousers. So, I spent a lot of time being cold, wet and sneezing. Maybe it was just bad karma. But, the little food that I had was pretty average. On the plus side, the gluten-free menu is very extensive and they take it seriously. However, I don't think I will take a chance here again. Hopefully, your experience will be better.

Recently ate there and what an average at best experience! Ordered cheese plate for an appertizer but all they had was a pork plate in its place. I am far from someone who wants monster portions but this was tiny, not worth the price and forgettable. Wife had a salad to start but there was a hair in it so that sat on the table. Wife ordered filet medium rare, arrived medium well but of course she wouldn't send it back. I ordered gnocchi dinner that was average nothing to write home about. My wife's steak came with mashed potatoe but surprisingly no vegetable. There is a sides menu that I guess you have to order from. Sky let me make very clear to you you are nothing like a high end steak house (Morton, DelFrisco) so stop charging for sides consindering the cost of your mains. What you deliver to the table are not $30+ steaks! The only thing enjoyable of our meal was that our meals, our guests paid for them. I don't see us ever going back there.

We sat in the Sky Bar area and it was the perfect casual area for drinks and appetizers. We got a few drinks (wine and one of the special cocktails). Their cocktails were delicious and very interesting combinations of alcohol. For appetizers, we got the lettuce wraps and the crispy chicken skewers. Both were great and, honestly, filled us up enough that we wouldn't have been able to eat a full dinner meal. Overall, we were happy with our experience. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!

My friend and I dined here early one evening hoping for a quiet and relaxing dining experience. Sky did not disappoint. We had an excellent appetizer plate of cheese and various meats and enjoyed some nice cocktails. The seafood entrees were had were presented elegantly and delicious. The bar area did seem to be a little loud. If you're looking for a quiet dining experience, ask to seated in the dining room.

Recently hosted a company dinner for 15 in the restaurant's Board Room. The restaurant is quite large and well appointed, featuring a beautiful waterfall in the main dining room. A prefix menu was developed in advance, from appetizers to soups/salads, entrees and dessert. In short, everything was delicious! Staff was exceptionally attentive and accommodating to special dietary requests. I will book this restaurant again for future dinners--both personal and professional!

The most amazing drink menu, particularly bourbon drinks created by Kyle!!! Much thought and adoration is put into creating unique concoctions found no where else! To pair, food is awesome, chicken parm is great as is most every dish enjoyed here at Sky.

Went to buffet with family. The one thing that really stood out to me was the fried Brussel sprouts. Yummy. I've never had Brussel spells so good! I really enjoyed the omelet station too! Service was good and the waiters were attentive.

We visited Sky in Norwood recently for a Friday night dinner as walk-ins. With plenty of available seating we were not only seated promptly, but were given a lovely booth facing the water feature within the restaurant. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. Furthermore, they inquired if we had visited Sky before which I had not while taking our drink orders. Upon his return, our waiter was helpful in providing an overview of the regular menu and reviewed specials in great detail. He also answered several questions indicating his knowledge of the menu and the chef's food preparation techniques which was a big plus. The food was excellent! The fish special included a ample sized filet of haddock with asparagus which were both flavorful and well prepared. The parmesan encrusted chicken filet was also full of flavor and while thin, was still succulent. We ordered a slice of chocolate cake for desert to go, which we enjoyed later. Sky is a winner and we will certainly be back soon.

I like the brunch buffet. It is your usual fare but quite the selection. Just solid all around. Three stars because it's a safe bet for a fussy crowd. Nothing memorable - positive or negative - but nice.

First time sitting in lounge to eat , in the mood for something light. Food was excellent reasonably priced. What was very impressive though was the staff at the front entrance who made sure they held opened the door for eveyone coming in and out. This is "Old School " service and was a pleasant surprise as I have not seen that in a place in years. There also were a few other items on the menu I wanted to try. We are local and will be back. Great Job SKY,,,,,,,

Sky offers a really great menu and ambiance. I am an out of towner who traveled for business and found this gem near my hotel. I recommend chicken piccata and for dessert .. Apple streusel. I couldn't imagine anything on this menu wouldn't be perfect! My colleague ordered lobster mac n cheese and that also looked amazing.

Great atmosphere and attentive staff. Shouldn't have to ask for bread, but things happen. Drink menu is second to none; try the Robert Burns... Had the pork chop. Was a little over cooked, and over-pounded. A little tough. Gorgonzola mashed potatoes could have been a little more seasoned, or had some more cheese. Spinach with minced garlic was perfect. Great texture and flavor, not watery or oily. Well done! The chocolate fondu is worthy of needing your fat jeans the next day. I'd drink it as if it were the cup of everlasting life. Great atmosphere, a cool place, and good food. Not the "best" but not over priced either.

Great gluten free options. Love their chicken piccata and flourless chocolate cake (gluten free). They also have gluten free bread to start, which is a plus! Great place for a date or for meeting with girlfriends in their bar.

OK this is the 1st review I have written so please be patient with me! In April 2013 we went to brunch (usually my favorite) for my sons birthday and was so irritated with our service that I emailed the manager the next day...something I also have never done. I was happy that the manager responded with a gift card for the poor service we received. I still have the gift card but haven't returned until tonight. We went for a birthday celebration for dinner. There were 4 adults and 2 children. One of the children has multiple food allergies. The outline of the allergies were explained to our waiters and relayed to the kitchen staff by his mom. To say that our servers and chefs went over and above is a complete understatement. They supplied a list of foods that fit into the allergy outlines, even offering to completely drain and replace the frying oil to ensure that there would be no cross contamination so he could have french fries!! They referred to both children by name, making them feel so comfortable in a fancy restaurant. The food was fantastic. We collectively ordered the pork saltimboca, salmon, shrimp and scallops, parm encrusted chicken, chicken parm and the all important uncontaminated french fries and hamburger. It was early on a Wednesday night and there were not many tables filled but we were treated as if we were the only table in the restaurant. I wish I could remember the names of the gentlemen that were our waiters. I will tell everyone that asks what a wonderful experience it was.

Although it's expensive it is most definitely the best place to eat in the entire town. I've only been one time, but without a single doubt will I be back again. Props to them.

I have been to Sky three times in the last year. I have Celiac Disease, and Sky not only has a great GF menu, but they are very nice and accommodating about dietary restrictions (they don't make you feel like you're being annoying!). So far I have eaten the prime rib special with mashed potatoes, the chicken piccata, and the lobster mac and cheese. I have also tried the tuna appetizer and the lettuce wrap appetizer. Every entrée I've tried has been delicious, but the prime rib was uniquely good. The lettuce wraps are also incredible. They bring out GF rolls before your meal, so you don't feel left out as the non-GF diners eat their rolls. Very tasty! I've noticed that they also have a few GF dessert options, which is amazing, but I'm always too full to try them. Pretty pricey, but definitely worth it! Always a great dining experience at Sky.

YUMMY :-) I took my family to Sky this morning to celebrate my Dads birthday. Go there for brunch, you won't regret it. The restaurant is very clean, relaxing ambiance (waterfall), and the service is fantastic. You know what it could have used, maybe some music, nothing blaring, but a lil somethin somethin....some Buble, Sinatra, or Legend perhaps to filter out other people's conversations :-)

We had a reservation for Valentine's day. The server was loud and impatient, just wanted to take the order and finish us as fast as she can, she was making a loud comment about us that we didn't order alcohol for celebrating the Valentin's day that the couple sat next table told us "wow..that was not of her business!!". The seating was OK, yes there is kind of a waterfall, but the tables were very close to each other that we could hear the conversation 2 tables away from us. The food was pricey and not exceptional, we had the Lettuce Wraps (they should send their chef to P.F Chang to learn how to do that and why it is so popular there with less $), also we ordered the Organic Miso Sake Salmon, it was oily and the salmon and veggies were over drenched with sweet , cheep Teriyaki sauce, the rice cake was fried in oil. We complained and they brought us a small plate of oily veggies with no taste placed in the microwave until it was really hot (again, they should send their chef to Sofia in Dedham to learn how to cook and present a good Grilled salmon...), sorry Sky, we don't think you made our so special Valentine's day meal something to remember, but at least we had great coffee and dessert somewhere else that made the night memorable....

We went there just after New Years, we had been before, but for some reason it had been probably a couple of years for us. We always love the bar ambiance, it's big yet cozy, lots of seating. The wine and beer list were very inclusive. We didn't remember it being so great in the past. We sat in the dining room with friends. It was very quiet compared to the bar. The food was great. The menu is a really nice compilation of casual, yet upscale selections. We had the lobster club, salmon nicoise, a chicken and pasta dish. All were freshly prepared, beautifully plated. Service was great. We will most certainly make this a regular destination. While the little, upscale restaurants in the suburbs are fashionable now, it's not such a bad thing to go to a quality place that has some space for you to relax.

I've been to Sky a couple of times. Really nice ambiance (the back wall is a waterfall). The food however, is a little underwhelming. I really enjoyed the calamari the first time I had it, but the second time it just seemed lacking. The fried pickles had a tasty sauce but they had a thick breading (but deep fried dipped in anything is usually tasty). The prosciutto and fig pizza was the most surprising, and not in a good way. It was definitely too sweet, maybe too much fig jam. I ate some, took the rest home, and when I tried to eat it again I just couldn't finish it. The only time in my life I've EVER thrown away pizza.

I will start by saying the food was great, I had no complaints with the appetizer or the meal. We sat right in front of the waterfall that was nice. I would gave given 5 stars but our server was beyond slow and really didn't seem to care. He came to take our drink order and I stated that I wasn't sure yet and instead of asking if we wanted to place appetizer/food order he walked away it took him almost 15 minutes to come back and went to walk away again after the drink order so we had to say to him what we'd like for an appetizer and then he walked away again with out getting our dinner order. A different server brought out our appetizer and we still hadn't even placed our dinner order our server went to clear our appetizer plates, and went to walk away again almost as if he FORGOT he hadn't taken out order so again we had to awkwardly tell him we were ready to order. Food came out and was delicious but again after the food there was no offer of desert we had to ask for the menu. Very inattentive and not what I expect from a nice restaurant, this is service I would expect to get at friendly or the 99 not an expensive restaurant. I feel like 2 hours for food with no alcohol is a little much especially with the long wait between courses. I understand it was valentines day but it wasn't exceptionally busy and there really is no excuse for forgetting to take someone's order and then looking so stunned when we requested to place one. I probably won't be returning, honestly the worst service I've ever received.

I have been here on a few occasions and have always had good service and good food but for some reason always forget about it, but I think its because everytime I have come here, its been on a date.. with someone I wasn't all that into (don't judge me..). So technically, its not the restaurant's fault. The decor is really nice, the menu has some interesting and delicious apps and entrees, though prices say "Boston proper" more than "The Auto Mile" which is off-putting. The cocktail menu is also pretty pricey for where you are and what you get. The being said, the Ahi Tuna app was delicious, the Beet and Pear salad would have been evern better if they'd remembered to add the goat cheese (sigh..), my date's steak was good and his veggies not over cooked. Overall, Sky is a good place to meet a date you have tepid feelings about, if you would like to have a good meal and slightly higher than expected prices.

Oh GOD!! I rarely take the time or have the afterthought to write a review, but in this case it is well deserved. First the stats: 5:30 reservations for 10, seated at 5:40. 25 minutes before a drink order. Apps arrived at 6:40. Main course arrived at 7:20. Yes....it took 1 hr and 40 minutes to get our meals. Not one member of the party had anything good to say about their meal. My Chicken Picatta was warm at best with COLD mashed potatoes. The menu heading read "Chicken and Pasta"....not a string of pasta on the table. Service was mediocre at best, quality of the meal was what I would expect at Applebees. True opinion. Avoid this disgraceful establishment at all cost unless you're a divorcee and plan on meeting someone at their bar....that looked promising at least.

This was the second time we dined here. The first time was 4 years or so ago. I remembered a nice environment, but couldn't remember the food. First the good. The restaurant itself is nice. Nice separate bar and dining areas. I don't think the posted photos do it justice. A covered drive-up entrance makes it ideal for dropping off your lady during inclement weather. The tables and booths are nicely spaced so that you don't have the feeling you are on top of the next table and are able to have a private conversation making it ideal for date nights. Our bartender was friendly, responsive and quick. My wife enjoyed her pomegranate martini and I my IPA. They offer a good selection of beers on tap. As for the dining experience, our server was friendly and attentive. However, she got our wine order wrong and after spending a good deal of time trying to locate what we ordered she brought us the wrong wine and had to go back. My lamb Osso Bucco was so so . Not quite tender and not quite flavorful enough. It's served with mashed potatoes ... risotto would have been better. My wife and I agreed that hers is better. I also had a mixed salad which came with blueberries, nuts, and blue cheese. It was tasty and fresh but a bit too sweet. My wife ordered the spicy fish tacos and a house salad. She liked both, although I found the tacos a bit too salty. I was surprised it didn't come with salsa or guacamole, just chips. Sky is a good place to meet friends, but the cuisine is not going to be enough for foodies. My wife thought it deserved three stars, but meh ... I've experienced better.

Kelly and I came here one night for dinner after we decided we didn't want the same old routine of places we usually go to. We had a great meal and the service was superb. Kelly got the Lobster Mac and Cheese and I had the Chicken Parm, both of us loved our meals. The portions were impressive! We decided to try the Desert Plate, which consisted of chocolate fondue and a plethora of dipping items like cake, brownies, fresh fruit, granola bars, etc. It was heavenly!! The atmosphere was fantastic as well! Sky would make a perfect place to take someone on a date, whether it's your first or 15th. The waterfall and dimmed lighting really set a nice tone, however it's not overly stylish were a middle classer like myself would few uncomfortable. I can't wait to go back!

We usually have a great meal at Sky, and it has become our go-to restaurant, but we were very disappointed with our meals last night. We all ordered Parmesan Encrusted Chicken, which by itself was delicious, but they served us instant mashed potatoes as a side dish! Gross! Also, our other side dish (broccoli) was cold. Very disappointed, Sky.

Excellent food, atmosphere and ambience One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. I came here for my anniversary with my GF. We began with martinis, which were very tasty and they had an excellent selection. Next was the Pork empanadas for our app, they were good but nothing spectacular. After that was our main course, I ordered the Grilled Atlantic Swordfish which was a delicious piece of fish along with the AMAZING lobster risotto. My significant other ordered the Parmesan Encrusted Chicken which was equally as good my meal. Onto dessert, we decided to try the Desert Plate, which consisted of chocolate fondue and a variety of dipping items such as brownies, cake, fresh fruit, granola bars, it was SOOOOOOO good. Just writing this review makes me wanna go back. YUM

Thrilled! Stopped here while traveling on business and was NOT disappointed. I follow a gluten-free diet and not only were there gluten free options, they had a whole beautiful menu! While it was hard to choose, the meal I had was the best I have had all summer. And my waitress, Christin was amazing! Will definitely be going back!

Great place for a night out with friends. Good food, good service and good drinks! Overall a nice restaurant with a good ambience. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is because we had to wait awhile for a table and ended up sitting at bar because we were hungry.

Came here for a company holiday party. My first visit here, because I don't live in the Norwood area, nor do I own a car, so this place is off my beaten tracks. I was very favorably impressed. Our holiday buffet had an assortment of delicious foods, with a good variety. The only problem was deciding what to eat first, because it was all so tempting. The wait staff circulated with hot hors d'oeuvres (mini chicken tacos, spring rolls, meatballs) which were all delicious. Not only did they actually have Sauvignon Blanc, but I had my choice of two different kinds. The staff was attentive without being obtrusive, and did a great job of keeping the room clear of used dishes and cutlery. We had a lovely holiday party, and I am hoping that my company will use their services again next year, when I won't eat so much at lunch so as to leave room for their delicious buffet selections.

I just bought a car at one of the 350 dealerships nearby and after doing a quick Yelp search we learned that Sky could accommodate a gluten allergy so we gave it a shot. The first thing you notice is how massive this place is. It's no wonder they advertise for wedding parties as the place has a stately feel with big wide hallways and lots of private rooms for smaller parties. The gluten free menu is awesome and all it took was for my wife to see Lobster Mac and Cheese on there and she didn't need to consider any of the other options. I guess they recently revamped their regular menu as well and I went with one of the newer options - the Turkey Burger and sweet potato fries. The Mac and Cheese was a little more watery than we were expecting, but it tasted great and had lots of lobster in it. The Turkey Burger was good as well with the fries perfectly crispy. The waitress was really nice and attentive and the drinks were tasty as well. We'll definitely be back even though it's a bit of a trek from Waltham. If you are a fellow Celiac this place is definitely worth the ride.

My husband and I came for dinner the night before Thanksgiving before hitting the road for the holiday weekend. We were seated right away in the dinning room and the waitress approached us right away. The parking lot looked busy but the dining room only had a few tables taken. I think most people come here to enjoy the bar area (which is pretty cozy). We ordered 6 raw oysters to start, I had a mixed green salad and then the grilled swordfish with asparagus and lobster risotto. The entree was delicious- the swordfish was very tender, the asparagus was crunchy (which I like) and the risotto had chunks of lobster. My husband had the NY Sirloin which he said he enjoyed. Everything came out nicely timed and the waitress was attentive and friendly. It is slightly expensive, if you indulge in a starter/salad, but for a special meal or corporate event, I would recommend Sky. I believe they have changed management over the last year and I would say that this visit was a vast improvement over prior visits.

I came here based on the recommendation of a friend (a yelp extremist and elite I might add as well). Thanks to her, my boyfriend and I make up an excuse as to why we should spend nearly a hurtful amount of $$$ for a worthy dinner. Not only is the decor elegantly modern, but it also carries a somewhat feng shui vibe with the beautiful waterfall wall. After a delicious appetizer, entree, dessert and wines, we left wondering why we had never tried this place out sooner? Every meal we've consumed from Sky has sat right in our tummies and taste buds. However, I feel as a poor person (thanks college!) that this place calls for special occasion events (birthdays, anniversaries, etc,) because as a broke person (thanks college!) you'll simply feel out of place...maybe...I mean, the prices are high but not SKY high (get it? haHAA). It's a great place for food, nice decor, good service. What's not to love? Here's what we ate and recommend from them (elevator music in the background): Appetizer: Lettuce Wrap (Make your own. A lot for an appetizer) Small Ceasar Salad (Small Croutons! :) ) Enree: Parmesan Encrusted Chicken (I did spinach instead of green beans. And the Parmesan risotto is to die for!) Grilled Steak Tips (My boyfriend's choice, great barbecue) Dessert: Boston Cream Pie (It's too small for me!!!!!!!!!!)

I really enjoyed this place. Nice setting, plenty of space between tables, nice decor. Staff was friendly. The food was excellent. I had the lamb that was cooked perfectly. My son's kids meal was really good too, he finished it completely which is unusual for him. I came here on a groupon discount, but I will be back on my own dime.

I take my mom to lunch at Sky at least once a month. The staff treats her like a queen. That alone gives them 5 stars in my rating system. The food is quite good, we both enjoy the salmon. The specials are usually quite good and the desserts are amazing.

Dressed up American food. Its good stuff, and their drink menu is extensive. The decor in the restaurant and bar is artsy. Their bar is pretty big, and has a bunch of tv screens so you can catch the game. The dining room has its own waterfall, which is an original idea. They have a lot of pasta, seafood, and steak dishes, and lots of creative appetizers. I like their baja eggrolls (appetizer). Everything is on the pricey side, but the ambiance, and presentation of the food (and taste) makes up for it. Definately a romantic place to go. They also have the original Sky in Sudbury, MA. go to sky-restaurant.com to see the menu, etc.

1/2 priced Burgers every Monday - ALL DAY! How could I say no to that?? My hubby, friend, and I stopped in today for exactly this. Me being the burger fan I needed to try it out. I thought I'd be expecting just a cheeseburger for half off but no! Every burger on their menu is half off. Yes, even the breakfast burger with a fried over easy egg and canadian bacon on top, sautéed onions, avocado, and yellow peppers. Are you drooling yet... you should be! It was the bomb. I might have to go get my heart unclogged but it was worth it! And for $6!!!! It also came with a side of french fries. They were simple fries but I was too busy being a piggy with my burger. The hubby and my friend ordered the Texas BBQ burger. From the silence and grunts, I think they enjoyed it. No one was speaking to each other. And you know what that means - we were too busy eating. The waiter let us know that every day from 4-6pm they have half off apps. So you're telling me I can return on a Monday evening, order a burger for $6, and an appetizer for half off. Hello, of course I'll be back. Oh yeah, and the atmosphere and service were great!! This is also a great spot for a date. They have this awesome waterfall and dim lighting to set the mood.

Came in last night and was amazed at how pretty this restaurant is. I liked the waterfall in the main dining room. I ordered the crab ragoons for an app (it was a special i think) and they were amazing. Our server was a very sweet woman who kept our drinks full and overall very attentive. I had the lamb chops and they were very good. I didnt care for the sides it came with. Our server rushed and got different sides which were very yummy. I also had some of my sisters lobster mac & cheese. It was pretty ok. I would definitely come back and try more items off their menu. Service : A+ Decor: A+ Food : Appetizers: A Entrees: B

Went back. Still have the same feelings. We tried the Chef's Board, Fried Pickles, Baja Egg Rolls, Fried Calamari, and the Prosciutto and Fig Pizza. The Chef's Board was a trio with goat cheese wrapped in prosciutto with balsamic reduction, brie and prosciutto in puff pastry with mango and strawberry salsa, and warm pears wrapped with prosciutto over a small salad. The brie combo wasn't warm at all. The pear combo was burnt, and the salad was drenched in dressing. Fried pickles were 90% dough and 10% pickle. There was a nice dipping sauce, but not worth it. The Baja egg rolls were the only positive. Full of great ingredients, and the salsa and queso were full of flavor. I already stated my feelings on the calamari, but the bf likes it. The pizza was overly sweet. The figs were dry and chewy. The thing that ticked me off the most was that everything was brought out at the same time when I specified to bring the first two then the other three. We waited a while, then everything was brought at the same time. Looked like a crazy buffet. Apps then dinner? Guess it doesn't happen there. Still, do not recommend.

A lot of money for a lot of disappointment! We have been going to sky for father's day brunch for several years. Although it has pretty much always had the standard brunch buffet fare for a lot of money, the service has been good and the buffet was always well stocked. Not so today. The service was very iffy- had to ask for more hot water for tea. Had to borrow my daughter's knife, and this is for a really nice tip for someone who only has to bring beverages and silverware. What!! The food was really disappointing- my first round at the buffet looked like everything needed to be replenished. I scraped the bottom of the barrel for huevos rancheros, declined to take the meager amount of mussel risotto remaining and tried the prime rib hash and the home fries. If the prime rib hash was made with prime rib I'll eat my hat- it tasted like I was eating my hat already. The home fries were TERRIBLE, and the huevos rancheros were surprisingly pretty good. Second round I tried again for the mussel risotto- still hadn't been replenished, but I scraped the bottom of the barrel again and managed to get a little. Way too spicy- no nuanced flavor, no lovely risotto creaminess- no great shakes. For dessert they were out of Creme brûlée- the only thing I would have considered. My father in law brought me a piece of cake- blah and bland. Everyone with us who had waffles and omelettes seemed to enjoy them. Most cooks should have a hard time ruining these things. I did a lot of research this father's day to try to avoid going to Sky again, but so many places don't take reservations and it is harder for older folks to wait, so we really need a place that takes reservations. Next year we will definitely be elsewhere. We can be done now. I was not happy with the food, and I was not happy with the service. Luckily the company was great!

This has been my second time going to Sky. I was so impressed with my first visit that I wanted to go again. Our servers name was Jason. He was very professional and accommodating. We were their to celebrate an engagement and birthday and were offered a free dessert. Our food was excellent and very tasty. One of the plates were cold and Jason was apologetic and took the meal away right away. The new plate we got was perfect. the prime rib was amazing. I can't wait to go back.

I have been to Sky Norwood several times previously for dinner and drinks, but we made reservations immediately after Mother's Day to try the Father's Day brunch buffet. My father was excited to try it since the Phantom Gourmet rated it as the best brunch around. The first thing that shocked me was the service was sub-par, especially as compared to my other visits. I will give our waiter the benefit of the doubt that they place was truly bustling that day. He was slow, slightly inattentive and our water glasses went dry (a pet peeve of mine). My mother's napkin had a blood stain on it, which is something you never want to see in a restaurant -- especially one with white napkins (bleach, anyone?). I loved the custom Bloody Mary menu, but I went with a peach bellini ($8) instead. It was delicious, made with fresh peach nectar. The buffet warranted a room of its own, and it covered all the bases with a made-to-order egg station, carving station and chocolate fountain. I especially loved the egg station because you placed your order with a friendly hostess who took your name and table number -- leaving you to go get other goodies while your order was made and delivered to your table. Everyone should do this. My tomato, bacon, mushroom, cheddar omelet was a bit overcooked for my taste, but still yummy. I went back for Eggs Benedict, which was perfect minus the lemon undertones. The rest of the food was good. The "crispy bacon" (yes, the sign actually said that) was high quality. The hash browns were spicy. The lunch items shined, however, in my mind. The sweet and sour chicken and shrimp was delicious, and the cajun mac & cheese had me going back for seconds (and contemplating thirds). It had the perfect kick, the right amount of cheesy goodness and Canadian bacon or sausage (not sure) that took it to another level. The carved sirloin was tender and perfectly cooked, and the accompanying mushroom gravy was perfect. I didn't try the mashed potatoes, but boyfriend was convinced they were instant. I have to say the chocolate in the chocolate fountain was divine, and they had almost anything available that you would want to dip in chocolate from fresh fruit to chunks of seven-layer bars. We left full and mostly satisfied, but I have to say that the $28 per person price tag left a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth. I'm not sure it was worth that. I am not going to say I whole-heartedly recommend Sky for brunch, but I definitely recommend them for dinner, and I will not let this experience keep me away. Just give me a tray of that cajun mac & cheese!

Came here for the Lenny Clarke comedy show on 9/20. It was an awesome night! We have been to the sister restaurant 3 in Franklin many, many times so we figured we would like it. I think we actually liked the food better here. The bread and oil was delicious - I think we ate almost two loaves. I ordered the chicken piccatta and my husband had chicken parmesan. The portions were huge and very tasty. I ordered a bottle of wine which was good - it was a red blend. They can wrap up anything you dont drink which is such a nice convenience. Because we bought tickets to the show we got a free dessert each which was a bonus. We had an apple tartlet with ice cream and chocolate cake(which we brought home). The apple dessert was much better than the chocolate. Our server was very attentive the whole night. And of course the comedy show was hilarious. It is not cheap by any means but definately worth the money. I would definately come back for another dinner and show. I wish we lived closer!

Been there 4 times prior over the years and it was good. what the heck happened.??? I took a couple there last thursday night and it was horrific!!!!! $12 martini served in a water glass because at 7pm "they were out of martini glasses." Then, after 1 hour, two conversations with the alleged "manager", a set a mediocre appetizers on the house, and a $55 bottle of wine we took our out of town guests to Legacy. And to top it off the manager came running out into the parking lot, not to apologize for the ruined evening but to accuse me of running out on the bill! I advised him calmly that I left the $100 gift certificate on the table because noboby came to the table and we were sick of waiting. PS Because of my prior affinity for Sky I called to speak to the GM before posting this review and he never returned my call. The Sky has lost me and my friends and family.

I personally loved this place. Maybe because we sat at the bar. The bartenders were friendly, the patrons chatty, and the food excellent. Pricey yes, but well worth the money. I would say go if you are in the area. We will be back...

I had one of the WORST DINING EXPERIENCES ever. For the first time, I left a restaurant very unsatisfied and hungry. Everything from the service to the food was disappointing especially for a $$$ restaurant. Here's the breakdown: House-made root vegetable ravioli was LUKEWARM and had a FUNNY/BLAND taste. For $19, I should of stayed home to eat my frozen raviolis from Trader Joes. I doubt it was "house-made." I sent it back and got lobster risotto and crab cakes. The lobster risotto came out LUKEWARM and the risotto was RAW. The crab cake and/or the sauce tasted and SMELLED AWFUL, like it was SPOILED! My partner ordered the NY sirloin--which was fine, not great. We ordered a side of creamed spinach and it looked like boiled spinach DRENCHED in HEAVY CREAM. The prosciutto and fig pizza was okay. A little on the sweet side, too much figs, rarely any prosciutto, but it was fine. And the SERVICE... The server was slow and poorly trained, and he was actually training another new server. Need I say more? The MANAGER offered me a different meal, but by that point, who has an appetite? He said "I would like to do something for you. Let me see what I can do..." then DISAPPEARED and never came back. I'm appalled and so angry about this experience. A date night gone horribly wrong... Probably would have been better off at a chain restaurant..

So I've finally been here for dinner and I have to say it was quite good. Also, the atmosphere is MUCH different at night... sort of dark and Film Noiresque. My appetizer fig and prosciutto pizza was not as great as I had expected it to be, but the martinis were well crafted (albeit pricey) and the lobster mac and cheese was very good (I loath mac and cheese with breading, but they fried theirs or something so it was cripsy in the dish which was awesome). Also, our server was very attentive and friendly and we have a reservation and our table was already set and ready when we walked in the door.

Came here for the second time in 10 years for dinner. This place is ideal for couples or a special occasion (anniversary, special date, couples/group outing, etc). Food is much better than average...but you would expect that for $20+ an entree. Service was excellent. Lighting in the main dining area could be dimmed a little bit near the walls. Selection of wines by the glass was better than average, but disappointed they didn't have more than one choice of Merlot. However, the Merlot was pretty good to be fair. Bar area is classy and pretty busy on weekend nights. Not the type of place where you come for beer but more so cocktails and wine. For a couple with dinner, app, a few drinks, and tip expect to spend at least $120. Wasn't wowed with their menu choices but everything we ordered was very good.

I will admit that I have never taken the time to rate a resturant on Yelp. I travel 48 weeks a year so as you can imagine I eat out more often than not. Sky was an amazing experience. I ate at the bar and had two of the nicest bartenders I have ever encountered. The food (had a steak) was perfectly cooked. All of the staff made a point to introduce themselves to me by name and asked who I was. In a world of declining customer service Sky bucks the trend! Nice work guys. I will be back every time I am in Boston. Thank you!

LOML and I were over to get the Batmobile repaired at Dalzells Volvo in Foxboro and decided a return to Sky was in order. Bread and oil hit the table before chowder with bacon pieces were selected for our start and we were not disappointed. Tough to get bad chowder anywhere around Boston. LOML selected Mac and cheese with no options (chicken, lobster, shrimp) and I opted for the French dip sandwich. Don't know what they do with the m&c but outside of LOML's it's the best we have ever tasted. The French dip was great (perfect med rare) with a little creamy horseradish but the au jus tasted like onion soup from a can (big disappointment). Fries on a half bag felt very Parisienne and were hot and crispy. Couple of cokes and we were back on the road fighting crime in North Gotham.

I have not been here in awhile now that I do not live in the Norwood area but have never been upset by a meal at Sky. They have the best steaks and drinks. And the beautiful water fountain in the dining room is amazing! The food is all homemade and tastes delicious. And the desserts are amazing!

This used to be the place we went for occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, and the like, and was always great, but it's gone down hill. I think they abandoned the fine dining concept for mass appeal, which is ironic, because when we used to go there it was packed and the last two times no one was there, and we are talking Saturday night at 8. My biggest disappointment was with the menu. They added pizza and sandwiches and a bunch of stuff that you find at any chain, like fish n chips and steak tips, sandwiches, burgers, and dumbed down crap. If you want that, go to Fridays next store and save about $60. My second complaint was no one was there, but I can't fault the restaurant for that, but I guess that has to do with confusion about what kind of place it is--fine dining, or casual dining that it seems to have become. I will say, that the food is still good. I ordered a steak that was cooked well and was very nice, as was just about all the food we had. And the dining room is still great, as it always has been, but empty. Another compliant was paper specials on the table, and other marketing on the table, that doesn'f fit with my idea of fine dining. Bottom line, its not the fun scene it used to be and when you sit down to spend at least $100 on a meal for 2, you want to get dressed up and enjoy every aspect of it--they used to have valet parking--and not feel like you are getting the same thing, and the same crowd you get at Chili's or Fridays. Maybe only the chef still cares cause we still got a good meal. A note on the service. Mostly good, but toward the end of the meal, the waiter came over to the table and as he walked away we noticed a terrible stench. We looked at each other thinking: was that you? and we were convinced the waiter left a terrible fart at our table. Id blame it on another customer, but as I said, we were one of only three or four tables in the whole place. Sad, because I used to love this place. Still hope they refine the menu again and get back to when it was fine dining, and not trying to compete with Fridays. Next birthday, I'll go to Isabella's in Dedham, which is always great.

I agree the food is great unfortunately make sure you check your chair before you sit in it. I am not a heavy woman weighing in at 120 pounds and when I leaned back in my seat the chair fell apart and my back hit the chair on the floor. Management didn't do a terrific job in taking care of the situation. They definitely need more practice in what to do when an emergency happens. Luckily I didn't break anything but am going to the chiropractor. Not worth the price won't go back

I've noticed that many of the poor reviews mention that the food is mediocre and the service is good. I've had the opposite experience. I've only ever been on Sundays for the brunch buffet. A couple of birthdays and a few Mother's Days. I LOVE the atmosphere and the food. They have live music, gorgeous decor and a waterfall. The online reservations are convenient. My issue with this restaurant is the service. I'm a big believer in friendly and professional service and unfortunately my last two visits were terrible in this regard. A couple of examples: Server did not pay attention to my table at all (did not check on how things were, refill drinks, ask if we needed anything), served us cold coffee, cleared all dishes and condiments when we went up for seconds, server no where to be found, etc. A terrible combination over the course of two visits. For the price of the buffet, you would think they would be more attentive and helpful. Although this is a lovely spot, unfortunately I will not return due to the poor service and hope to find something comparable that I can celebrate with loved ones.

My Norwood-local friends took me for an elaborate brunch buffet at Sky several years ago, and I had remembered being very satisfied with the substantial meal. Though I try to avoid buffets because my eyes and stomach are too big for their own good, I offered the destination as an option when recently visiting Norwood with several other friends. Surprisingly, the buffet was still priced at the $28 rate I remembered from years prior, so I was sold. Sky is essentially a large mansion that is located on a commercial highway. The dining hall offers several classically decorated rooms and a dark, wooden bar area. Due to the large size of our party, we were able to enjoy the cocktail lounge all to ourselves. We ordered beverages, which were ridiculously not included in the meal cost, and went to check out the goods being served at the buffet. The outer edges of the room were reserved for warm breakfast items, like potatoes and sausage links, as well as lunch selections, such as stuffed chicken, salads, and a carving station. Another wall housed a made-to-order omelet and Belgian waffle counter, where you could view your options and place your order. Your creation was then shortly delivered to your table. In addition, a multitude of desserts, including an alluring chocolate fountain, were tauntingly located in the corner of the room. I found the breakfast potatoes crisp and spicy, yet greasy. My egg white omelet was packed with fresh spinach, peppers, tomatoes, and mushrooms. Though it tasted flavorful enough, it was swimming in a layer of what looked like oil. For some reason, my friends' versions, which had been created from whole eggs, were much leaner. One of my companions blamed the watery spinach for being the culprit supplying the liquid on my plate, but I had my doubts. Aside from the marginal breakfast fare, I loved the tangy sweet and sour chicken over rice, the hearty roasted chicken stuffed with cranberries and breadcrumbs, and the freshly-carved roast beef. The chocolate fountain, fresh fruit, and cocoa-y chocolate chip cookies ended my meal on a sweet note. Sky is a beautiful restaurant mostly enjoyed for special events and relaxed Sunday brunch. It delivers above average food in large portions and at moderate prices.

I've been driving past this place for years. In fact, my 10 year high school reunion was held in the function room. Never given much thought to the Sky. However, that all changed when a friend gave me a gift card. Went there for my birthday with the wife. It was a Sunday evening and was not crowded. Bar was 30-40% full and the restaurant had 5 or 6 parties. Very slow to me but I don't know what's par for Sky. I always order the raw bar when available. Waitress didn't know what was available nor the type. Not good. Oysters were from Chatham and a bit briny. I prefer the Blue Points but you roll with the punches. I wanted to try several of the apps. So went with the half order of the squash ravs, caesar salad with 2 slices of anchovy on the side and fresh bread. The apps were a hit but the oysters failed to impress. The bread is from CT and I'm not a bread person, so when I tell you the bread was good - it's greeeeeat. The wife loved her salmon salad but my 14z steak was doomed from the start. Even the wife commented on the presentation. The steak looked dry and the cut resembled something from the Old Country Buffet. Min you - I haven't gone to OCB in a long time and that's another review. ;) All in all, there are many other options and I think I'm sticking to Legacy Place.

We two haven't had the negative experiences some recent reviewers have had. We go to Sky maybe once every few months, someitmes for cocktails and app's. in the bar, sometimes for dinner in the dining room. The prices have always been a bit on the higher end but the food we've had has always been very good with nice choices. (Cocktails are good but, yes, $11.00 for a martini is a Boston price, not a Norwood/Route 1 price.) Service has invariably been friendly and helpful. We went this past Friday ago and much to our surprise the menu was very new, apparently changing and expanding offerings three weeks ago. Many of the more interesting and good dishes are gone, while the menu is considerably enlarged to include sandwiches and appetizers containing American, Tex-Mex, and Chinese. Entrees seem more "okay" rather than "that sounds really interesting." We were told that mgmt. wanted to make the menu "more accessible." I guess it's "accessible" if you mean that it now contains many of the dishes available at nearby Route 1 eateries like TGI Friday's and Chili's and Siam Lotus. But the prices don't reflect "accessibility" and I've never thought of Sky as just another "eatery." The dining room seemed pretty full when we left, as was the bar, so mgmt. has to be happy about that. Generally louder than usual. For us Sky was a place to go locally for a romantic dinner, but I'm not sure that will be the case going forward. I'm afraid that the "specialness" is gone and I fear we may be, too.

Went for brunch today. Just great. The fact that you don't wait at the omelette station is extremely efficient. You order and it is brought directly to your table. Many many choices. Make your own Bloody Mary which I have never seen before. Nice jazz and not too loud. If I had any criticism at all it is that the coffee is terrible. Not hot at all. I changed over to tea. Figured at least I could get hot water. All in all though great experience

Went here on a business dinner and really enjoyed the chicken piccata. Also, great chowder, and this Colorado native doesn't get Boston chowder all that often so this was a real treat. WIne list was good--the waitor gave us the silver list and said that the prices were marked down from normal (maybe this is seasonal or just on weekdays--not sure), but we had a tasty Landmark chardonnay for a reasonable price. Good service. Recommended by the hotel we were staying in. I'll go back when I visit the area again.

Very positive experience! I went alone on a Friday night between Xmas and New year and sat in the bar area. They were very busy yet the service from the reception, waiter and bar staff was very professional. The salad had the right amount of dressing. Not to little and not to much. I ordered the Sea Bass and it was cooked to perfection. What surprised me was the roasted potatoes were not over cooked. Dessert was a very good Boston cream pie which looked as good as it tasted. The bill came at the right time. Not to early as to say get out we are busy, and they were, and you did not have ask and then wait around.

I've avoided this place for years...I thought the name and logo were dumb. But we happened to be in the area and decided to give it a try. We had to wait for about 5 minutes in the cavernous lobby before being greeted. The place was quiet (even for a Wednesday night) and I was ready to head out the door when we were finally approached (no apology for the wait) and seated. The host/ hostess staff need training. But the waitress was outstanding and knowledgeable and the meal was excellent start to finish. The fried pickles were recommended and were an unexpected treat - the sauce was especially delicious. The butter and garlic potato chips were also good but the truffle aioli that came with them was amazing. We had the baby back ribs and the veal with noodles and I would recommend both. In the end, I'd return for the food but my suggestion to the owner would be to make sure that first impressions are good ones.

I'm in Norwood for business for about a month each year. Because of this, I've visited nearly every restaurant up and down Route 1 to keep from getting entirely bored. I've been to Sky with co-workers on two occassions, both for dinner. The food was good, as well as the wine, but the prices are high. Granted, I was eating on the company $, but I really hate overpaying for anything. I think this would be a good place to try to impress a date or for special occassions, but it is definitely not somewhere to go on a weekly basis.

Yummy hot bread, great service, great food. Dropped in for lunch and it was pretty quiet. The place is large, with multiple function rooms, as well as cabaret-style booth seating in the main dining room. This would be a great place for a business meeting, a romantic dinner, or just drinks. Got a seat near the infinity fountain. Had knowledgeable, friendly and prompt service. Cocktails that were well-balanced and used real ingredients (not mixes, as far as I could tell). They have a small selection of notable beers in the bottle (Smuttynose IPA is the only one I can remember.) , as well as some more common ones on draft Blue Moon, Stella, Sam Summer and the like). The beer selection is probably the only point where they could improve. Portions were very generous and the entrees of all the people at our table were big enough to be split between two people. The lobster sandwich is AMAZING if you can get it in season. I loved this one in particular because there's no celery in it (ack!) and it's not drenched in mayo or sauce. Fantastic. For lunch it was a little pricey, but delicious and worth the treat. This was my first time but I will definitely be back to try out their dinner menu.

It's entirely possible i might have to re-review this place after eating there sometime when i was paying closer attention to the food and service, but overall it seemed like a nice enough place where i'd be fine with that. The lounge area where i was sitting was plenty comfortable, if a little sparsely decorated, and seemed to be pretty busy until the dinner rush got finished. It's a reasonably nice restaurant, from the looks of it, yet didn't seem offended when I asked for a beer, which always scores points with me. The food was tasty, and they brought us bread despite it not being terribly clear whether or not we'd order any food. The spring rolls were a tasty appetizer, too, enough so that i'd probably want to try actually ordering a meal next time.

Okay, so the foods good, but not great. And the service is hit or miss at times. And the crowds can be overwhelming on the weekend. And the drinks are a little on the weak side. And this place is billed as a family friendly restaurant, so what I am about to say is a little strange to say the least. What really makes this place entertaining are the Cougars and Pumas hang out and prowling the bar scene. Seriously, I think I've been asked if I was here alone or with someone a dozen times. I thought I was being Punked by Ashton, but I'm not a celeb, just a poor biologist. Anyway, I thought I should share; so if you're into the 30-50 crowd and you're feeling like a piece of meat, you've found the perfect jungle.

I love Sky. Great atmosphere, great food, great service! A group of us went one night to celebrate our engagement for 1/2 priced apps and got a ton. Everything was really yummy, but our server that night didn't really like us (you could tell), and charged us full price. It ended up turning out ok in the end though. I have gone back a few times for the "happy hour" and I would love to try their burgers. If we could afford it, we would go for dinner much more!

I went to Sky for a friends birthday. There was 6 of us in total. First impression: the place looks huge, the parking lot is full, but when you walk in, it was a ghost town. We started at the bar. The drinks were good. When we got to our table, our waiter was quick and rude to us. When we asked questions he seemed annoyed. Then he would disappear for long periods of time. My friend ordered the calamari and when it came out it has cheese on it. Because my friend is allergic to cheese she asked for another one without cheese. Again our server was clearly annoyed and rude to us. Our waiter then came back and told us that they were out of the two entree specials and we had to pick other items off the menu. The food was mediocre. The atmosphere is awful. I don't want to eat in a large dining room with zero ambiance and a waterfall. If I go back, it will be to go drink in the bar.

Extremely dissapointed in the customer service. My boyfriend and I went to celebrate my birthday this past Sunday at 10am and we were told we could not be seated until 130pm. We were informed that reservation were required and immediately ignored. The website does not indicate that reservations are required.

I have been here quite a few times, with large groups and with friends for a dinner for 4. All the meals I have had here are satisfying and delightful. I would say that the Martini List needs to be updated. I visited on April 10th, 2010 the service was awful. It started at the bar with the bartender giving us a horrific look when we sat down. She sauntered over with pure attitude and I am not sure if it's because her boyfriend was sitting three seats down from us, as we ordered drinks and waited for our friend, I noticed her attention to him and got the sense they were in a rift. I have NEVER been greeted in such a standoffish manner before in my life. After my first Margarita I let it go .... We ate dinner in the dining room, the food was delicous but the waiter was condescending and rude. I wrote his name down to include it in this review, however, I can't seem to find it. To the management, please revisit with your staff proper etiquette towards the customers. I will take a break from Sky but will give you another try because your food is delicous and we all make poor hiring decsions occassionally.

Great place for a nice date and/or Sunday brunch for a special occasion but a bit on the pricey side. It would be nice if they offered a choice of entrees for brunch in addition to the all you can eat. The best thing is half price appetizers in the bar on weekdays! You can get some outstanding food for a great price in a fun atmosphere!

Had the sake salmon which was very tasty and spicy. My sister had chicken parm which was good. They seemed to bake the chicken parm as the cheese was a little toasty on top. My brother had the Chicken Marsala which you really can't go wrong with. The waiter took some time to deliver the check although since it's a fancy place is probably part of the ambiance. Personally, I could give a crap about ambiance, just bring me the food and make it delicious, that's what I'm really looking for in a restaurant.

I have been to the bar here for drinks previoulsy but never ate in the dinning room. I went here with 9 friends for a birthday dinner. I made a reservation through open table so we didn't have to wait to be seated. The table was ready. The service was good even with our large group. There was plenty of parking and valet if you want it. The wine and martini's were great especially the Carmel Appletini. I the steaks looked really good but I had the lobster mac and cheese and it was wonderful. The breading was crispy and the labster was a good texture. Sometimes it gets a little rubbery in dishes but this was just right. I also tried my friend's thai vegetable stir fry and that was also very good and not too spicy like I would have feared (then again I am a spice wimp). Also we ordered a vanilla bean creme brule which had a good taste and a crispy shell but the shell wasn't warm like it had just been toasted but rather like it was pre-made. Overall I had a great meal, it was a bit pricey though.

Went here today for Sunday brunch with my family. The service was attentive without being in your face and the food was very good across the board. For brunch fans, they had a full complement of standard breakfast fare, made-to-order omelettes, eggs benedict, and waffles and pancakes. There were also a lunch table with several options (ziti bolognese was excellent), a carving station (ham + beef), a dessert table, and yes, the chocolate fountain mentioned in another review. My sister specifically inquired about the age of the chocolate fountain citing the below review here on Yelp. The manager on duty immediately came over and explained that that particular review was unfortunately left by the friend of an ex-employee who left under "bad circumstances". Interestingly he cited that they had tried to get it removed, but Yelp refused citing journalistic integrity, but then offered to remove said poor review if they began advertising [see the well-publicized ongoing lawsuit]. While it's difficult to assess the truth of online reviews, the look of pain on the manager's face implied truth on his part. Personally I didn't hesitate to go on a chocolate-fountain bender after speaking with him. Brunch was a bit on the pricey side, but considering the quality (and quantity) of food with the relaxed and non-rushed atmosphere, it seems like a good value. Live jazz was a nice touch. I'd say this is hands-down the best brunch in the area.

2.5 stars... friends took us here after seeing it listed as one of 'new england's best brunches' on a tv program called phantom gourmet. there was live jazz (called upon to play birthday music and otherwise ignored), a waterfall taking up one whole wall of the cavernous room, nice layout and tables, and attentive over-enthusiastic service. the food was satisfactory overall with a couple highlights... it was like being on a cruise-ship! there's an omelette/egg station, pancake/waffle station, carving station, and a huge chocolate fondue fountain. the only thing missing was mediocre sushi and an ice sculpture. standouts: cinnamon raisin french toast, prime rib hash, baked haddock, mixed green salad with figs and goat cheese, and creme brulee (had to request this special). the space is huge, so i can see it being a good venue for wedding receptions, etc. a big minus: the bathroom was as cold as being outside!

If you want to feel what it is like to be treated like a king, come here! I feel so spoiled after coming here. The service was sooo good! And just as important, the food was great too! I had Mac, Cheese, and Lobster. Sophisticated comfort food! It was great! Before the main dish, they served a seafood salad in a martini glass containing cocktail shrimp and scallops which was also delicious!! Sky Restaurant is a former banquet hall located on Route 1 that has been remodeled and turned into a nice restaurant. The prices are not cheap. Expect to pay $20-$30 for your main course. However, the quality of the food , the nice atmosphere, and the service makes this one well worth it in my opinion. 5 stars all the way for this one!

For what it is - this is a great spot for business and drinks. We did not have a full dinner, although what I did have - the calamari, was less than impressive. It was bland, and there seems to be a theme here... but I realized MA likes deep frying jalapenos to serve with calamari. Eh? I didn't get it. My fiance had the chicken skewers, which were apparently flavorful, but i tried it with the peanut sauce, and it more or less tasted like bland, pureed beans. Thai people would be very upset. Nonetheless, I am giving Sky 4 stars because the service was excellent and the bar was well stocked. Truly a fantastic place for a business meeting with cocktails to hover.

Returned to Sunday Brunch this past week with my parents. We all had a great time and the food as expected was excellent and service was very good. I continue to remain a fan and really enjoy the ambience with relaxing jazz music played. I would definitely return as I've been to very few brunches which compare in selection and quality of choices.

Decided to go to Sky this past Saturday night based on advice from a friend. Overall I had a very positive experience. I did read the reviews about the room being too dark and the waterfall being too loud and to me that's nonsense. The room was a bit dark, but still plenty of light to see the menu, your entire party, etc. The noise of the waterfall was nice, and if anything drowned out others conversations so it was serene. A very nice atmosphere in my opinion. We had a reservation at 8:30 and arrived at 8:25 and the courteous hostess almost immediately brought us to our table. We had only been there for two minutes and our server, named Jason, came over and apologized for the wait. However there was no wait really as we had just put our jackets down and settled in. I appreciated that. Another reviewer here also mentioned slow service and slow kitchen..we experienced none of that, in fact the timing between our wine, app, main course and dessert was nearly perfect. Not too fast not too slow. We started with the egg rolls and they were about average, however the sauce they came with was very good and enhanced the taste. I absolutely loved the Chicken and Sausage Cacciatore (can you say crave worthy!) and my date liked her mac and cheese, nothing special, it was just good. I'd suggest to the chef adding chicken, or even buffalo chicken (yum!) as an option with the mac and cheese as the only options to add on the menu was pork, lobster, and truffle. Dessert was this little Oreo chocolate mouse shot and it was quite yummy. Overall i'd most definitely come back to Sky.

I've been to the Sky on several occasions usually a birthday. The menu has a lot to offer and the prices are expensive. I had the filet mignon and it was cooked to my exact liking. I let the waitress recommend a bottle of wine and it complimented the meal just right. Be sure to get their rewards card if you are going to eat there frequently. Also, there is a nice martini bar to the left as you walk in that is great for an after-work drink.

Went to Sky with a friend on another yelp users recommendation on a Monday for half price burgers, did not regret it. This is a fancier place than what I'm used to, I walked in for lunch wearing my favorite cargo pants and star wars hoodie and felt like a bum. We decided we were a bit out of place when I spilled a drop of the oil they bring out with the bread (which was excellent) on the menu and it soaked in because they weren't covered in plastic! Nevertheless the place was really nice and the young guy (Kyle) who waited on us was nice and seemed very genuine. Both of us opted for the bbq burger. So big and full of burger goodness that I wasn't sure I could pick it up. The "you're in a nice place" part of me said use a knife and fork, but this was a burger, and its disrespectful to burgers everywhere to eat one with a knife and fork. Picked it up bit into it and had to force myself to put it down because I knew I would be very sad when it was gone. Beef cooked perfectly medium, juicy but not greasy, the chili gooshed over the edge of the bun and I joyfully forked it up. I wont go into too much detail as to what was on the burger, you can look at the menu online for that, but suffice it to say someone loved making this burger the way Spongebob loves making Krabby Patties. The fries were nothing special but they didn't need to be and they were cooked perfectly. This was a phenomenal burger. I wont say it was the best burger I've ever had, but I will say it was the best $6 I've ever spent and I plan to do so again!

Took Mom there for lunch over the holidays. Food was average and service slow for mid-week lunch in a nearly empty restaurant. My wife and I were both disappointed. Mom was ok with her meal.

I have been to Sky a few times. The atmosphere is nice. Nice waterfall in the main dining room, a separate room for the bar. I always try to have a different dish here everytime we go. I went on a double date with my hubby & some friends this past Saturday nite. We got the Mozzarella & Tomato appetizer, Shrimp cocktail & Southwestern Beef soup. We had gotten the Mussels Bianco before which are also really good. For dinner my friend Tammy & I had the Chicken Marsala which was delicious and my husband got the Parmesan Encrusted Chicken, which is normally very good but he said it was a little overcooked this time. and his risotto was a tad bit salty and Tammy's boyfriend Jeff had gotten the Jumbo seared Scallops were cooked to perfection. Our waitress was slow. she wouldn't take our appetizer order with the drink order and would not take our dinner order when we gave her our appetizer order , so she took 3 separate orders, when we tried to tell her we knew what we wanted when she came around the 1st time. But all & all the food is good. A little pricey for Norwood, but you can probably run into a Patriot here as I saw Junior Seau here last year.

I prefer to sit in the bar area- great appetizers- espeically buffalo chicken tenders. Very disappointed in the Lobster Mac and cheese and lobster bisque. Was there even lobster in either one?? The Atlantic Cod with asparagus risotto is my staple- get it every time.

I have to say the service, ambiance and the food was great.. Definitely worth a visit.. If I lived closer I'd be a regular there!! I had the scallops and they were huge and in a coucous sauce... The calamari appetizer was perfect,,,soft and flaky tempura style..... Im going back and I know good food!!!

The brunch is good but about 30% more expensive than it should be. Charging kids over 10 the full price is a bit extreme as well, no 10 or 11 year old eats $28 worth of brunch food. The selections are good and the omelet station and chocolate bar make it worth the trip. Service can be a touch snotty at times and not welcoming (especially if you have a kid). Overpriced at dinner as well but the surroundings are nice and there is no competition along Route 1 which makes it the default winner for the anything-but-a-chain category. Add some value items and make the service more welcoming and cheerful and this would be a real gem.

We went on a Saturday night with a coupon. I remember Sky as a great place to go on a Saturday night for a quiet meal in a nice atmosphere. Very noisy in the dining room and families with children and babies (doesn't the review say not good for kids?). It's 8:00 p.m.--kids should be in bed! I really don't get it--leave your kids with a babysitter or go down the street to TGIF--so many other choices! Back to the food--we ordered two apps and a bottle of wine. Chicken Satay and Steak Wontons--both very good. We never got the bread??? I ordered the Thai Shrimp--awful--loaded with sauce, soggy rice and very small shrimp. My husband got the steak which he enjoyed. We didn't get dessert even though I was still hungry--didn't want to take a chance. Even with the $60.00 coupon we bought for $30, it was rip off. Very over-priced and now it seems more like a "family" restaurant. We will not be going back.

My husband and I and another couple dined at Sky on a Friday night in the main dining room near the waterfall. Very few customers were in that room. We were meeting friends that we wanted to catch up with after the holidays. Our waiter was very attentive when we arrived, almost too attentive, as he kept coming back quickly when we asked for more time. All in all that was fine and he knew the drink and dinner menu well and made suggestions. We all ordered drinks. My husband had prime rib (special) and it looked and tasted great, I had the peppered bass (yummy, but overly peppery), our friends had veal parm and the scallops. Both were very good. The restaurant was very willing to substitute veggies for the gnocchi. We had the chocolate fondue for dessert...it was okay. The manager came over to ask how everything was. I mentioned the overly peppery bass, but no response. Once we paid our bill, our waiter disappeared....barely cleaned off our table, yet the restaurant was pretty empty. Finally after awhile he filled our water glasses, never asked if we wanted more coffee. Our coats were in the coat closet. We had to retrieve them ourselves. It was a really good dinner, but it could have been a better experience. My husband and I had been there 2 other times before and enjoyed it more then. Not sure if it was the waiter, or the fact the place was not well attended. The food is expensive, so I'm not sure I'd rush back. I would give it another chance sometime in the not so near future.

Went here with a colleague and had a decent steak. I had the 10oz filet mignon. It was a bit dry but I think I probably asked to have it too well-done (medium). Next time I'd go medium-rare. The center of the steak was great. The potatoes and sauce were excellent, as was the wine we ordered. Nice ambience. The service was OK. Kind of slow at times, and it wasn't that busy; they forgot to give me a steak knife, but the manager appeared to say hello and fixed it immediately. Unfortunately I didn't have room for dessert! Nice spacious place--I can see it working well for a larger group.

This is a great place for a night out. Ambience is great, very funky with nice lighting and a waterfall that makes you feel like you're on vacation in some tropical locale. The food is amazing - we started with calamari and I think it was the best I've ever had, topped with pesto and cheese, which is a unique idea, and also a delicious marinara sauce. The swordfish was great and the pan-seared scallops may be the best scallop dish I ever had - the scallops were perfect and it came with a nice little salad and some tortellini, making it more filling than just a few scallops but without the heavy risotto side that many scallop dishes feature. Overall great service and outstanding food. A little pricey but worth it. (Good night spot, not sure how late they are open, also they have valet available, and I would dress up but have been there with people wearing jeans)

I've been here a few time with some friends. I never thought that there was anything that great about it. I think the food is pretty mediocre and the prices are kind of pricey. Guaranteed I'm only 20 and it's probably not a restaurant catered to someone my age, but it a fun place to go when we feel like getting a lil more fancy than the local Fridays or chilis. Definitely think it would be a little more enjoyable once me and my friends turn 21 and will defiantly do that.

I got a Phantom Gourmet gift card over Christmas, and it was something of shame to have wasted it on this place....but at least we didn't have to pay for the sub-par meal ourselves. We went to Sky for a pre-movie dinner at 8pm on a Saturday night. We had made a reservation on open table and were seated within about five minutes. Food was mediocre...The fig and prosciutto pizza had no prosciutto. The clam chowder, while certainly hearty, seemed to lack clams. The breaded chicken cutlets were good, but pretty uninspired. The Baja appetizer rolls were tasty. Service was almost nonexistent. It was a good 10-15 minutes before our waitress showed up to take our drink order, and another 10 minutes before she returned with it. Our food came out in a timely manner, but we had to make a special request for bread, which she had assured as earlier was on its way. She gave us the wrong bill at the end of the meal and after 10 minutes of trying to hunt her down (all of the waitresses looked oddly similar), she brought us our new bill but never reappeared to take our credit card (and by this time the restaurant was practically empty). Another waiter, noticing I was standing impatiently next to the table with my coat on, finally took care of the bill. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the menu seemed to have many other interesting options, but we can't stand bad service....I don't know that we'll be back.
