I guess you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Due to inclement weather I was forced to endure some more torture at the feng yang house. I'm not sure what these people are thinking. I paid $1 for extra green pepper with my sweet and sour pork and they put one 3 cm piece of green pepper in my dish. That's not what I call value. I'm out.

A very average experience. We started with the egg rolls which come 2 to an order. We were a party of 3. The egg rolls weren't greasy but served very crispy. The wonton soup was more noodle than meat. We had the chicken lo mein and the ginger chicken with string beans. Those dishes were pretty good especially the ginger chicken. The ginger chicken dish didn't come with rice and we had to ask for it. Service was good and prices were very fair. My daughter said the ladies room was very dirty and needed a very good scrubbing and updating.

Seriously amongst the best Chinese food in greater Boston with above average sushi. Don't be deceived by the quiet dining room - this place is great. The real secret, until now, are Jade's Mai Tai's. Perfect

Visit the restaurant few times because my friend used to work there. I love the hot and sour soup! Also main dishes Garlic Chicken, General Gau's Chicken and Pai Thai are must try! The service is fair. The drinks are super inexpensive.

    1. No Chopsticks. Seriously. Aside from a chinese restaurant not automatically giving you chopsticks, the service kills it for me. The only thing that is even worth any stars are their sushi. And even their sushi doesn't deserve anything above 3 pr 4 stars. I'd prefer to drive another 10 minutes for great sushi, food and service. I've been multiple times and not once have I experienced and decent or friendly waitress. The woman we always have gives a look of annoyance when you've finished your water and ask for more. How dare I ask for more water. The fried rice is so bland too, I'd prefer to frequent elsewhere for my Chinese.

First off Jade makes this place. She works the whole bar side with grace and friendliness no matter how busy she is. We have been there many times but tonight was awesome. I'm not a huge fan of seaweed in sushi rolls so I asked for a tuna and avo roll minus the seaweed and they replaced it with a perfectly cut cucumber peel, tuna was so fresh (lived and ate sushi in San Diego for 5 years, amazingly fresh) which is always a nice treat. Veggie goyza were pan fried and so tasty. Boyfriend got his go to spicy orange chicken. Comes with rice and a app, such a good deal. Their egg rolls are awesome, not too greasy like some places. Also Mai tais are great there!

Everyone needs a "go-to" Chinese food spot and we found ours! After driving by Fen Yang House several times during the past year, my wife and I made it our mission to give it a try. The restaurant blends in among several small shops on Atlantic Ave, so you have to keep an eye out! We were seated right away and our attention was immediately drawn to the huge menu selection - classic Chinese Food, Japanese, sushi, and dozens of specialty drinks. My wife and I each did a double-take when we saw the prices. Only $3.99 for a mixed drink! And the drinks packed a punch! I ordered sushi and my wife ordered one of the dinner specials. The sushi was fresh and the portions for my wife's dinner special were generous. We took home enough pork fried rice, sesame chicken, and vegetables for lunch the next day. Drinks, an appetizer, and 2 entrees came to less than $45! We've been back a couple times since and it's worth noting that some of the wait staff speaks very broken English. If you point to the menu when you place your order it solves that problem. Overall, the experience was great and it's worth a visit for a casual meal or just the inexpensive, delicious adult beverages! p.s. We've been back a few times but I just tried the sweet & sour chicken for the first time and it was disappointing. You may want to stay away from this item on the menu. Otherwise, the overall experience remains above average.

It was a rainy Sunday night when we walked in. I was sure they would be closed or tell us they were closing up. After all, it was nearly 10 p.m. But, the lady gladly welcomed us and showed us to a table. It looked like we were the only patrons there. Our server was very friendly and fast. She brought us two beers right away. Props for carrying a wide variety, including Amstel Light (which I had been wanting to try). We ordered a couple miso soups, which were delicious. My BF and I chatted while our order - a sashimi boat with a side of rice - was being prepared. We didn't wait long, though. That was a good thing, since we were both hungry as all get out. I LOVED the white fish. It pretty much melted on my tongue like butter. The salmon and yellowtail were amazing too. After we polished off the sashimi tray, we caved into craving for more, and each of us ordered a favorite: him - eel; me - mackeral. Both were divine. I would definitely recommend this place. I'll be back. I'm not sure how they are during peak hours, but when we went, we got top-notch service and excellent sushi. And the price was unbelievable - about $40 for all that! I swear eating out is way less expensive here than in Phoenix (no sales tax!). If you're in the area, definitely check out Feng Yang House. I snagged a card, so here are their hours: Mon - Thurs: 11:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Fri and Sat: 11:30 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. Sunday: 11:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Great drinks, and fabulous Pork fried rice. I haven't had rice with eggs, and bean sprouts in years, that is till I found this place..

Service is great and our dinner was very good however their sweet n sour chicken I didn't like. It was actually greasy battered chicken fingers with sauce on the side. We will go back though as other dishes were good

Not really authentic chinese food. There was too much sauce for my taste. Chopsticks were not offered unless asked. The staff does not really speak English well. The service was quite slow when I went with some friends. However the price was good.

Buyer beware!!! I would have given them 0 stars if I could. My husband went to pick up take out last night and instead of charging us $101.36, they charged our debit card $1,001.36. Fortunately, my husband looked at the charge amount before he signed the receipt. He pointed out the error and they voided the charge. However, even though they voided the charge, it is still pending in our account and the funds have been withdrawn (both the mistaken charge of $1,001.36 and the correct charge of $101.36). We have been told that we may have to wait up to a week for the funds to be returned to our account. Needless to say, a pretty big inconvenience! You would think that Fen Yang would apologize upside and down for the error and offer to give us a coupon for a future visit. No! They just said sorry... that was it. Just sorry! Even after my husband asked how they were going to make this right for us, they told him all they could offer him was "sorry". I work in the customer service business and am frankly shocked at their response. This is not the first time they have screwed up our order and we won't be back.

They always get my order wrong. ALWAYS. They have teenagers working the counter and taking orders. Well that is part of their down fall. These teenage girls never know how to take and order and give it to the darn cooks. They always forget something so check your bag before you leave. They get three stars cause the food is eh.

They have ok food but the atmosphere is really subpar. The only reason I go here is that it is the closest available sushi. But most times an extra five minutes in the car is worth it.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
