One of the worst chinese food ever !! Expesive!!! I pay $12 for a teriyaki chicken combination to take out When i open my dinner box i found 2 small pieces of chicken in a stick And a bad imitation of chinese rice.. My wife order a combination of sweet and sour chicken and have just a little portion sweet and sour sauce and a bad breaded chicken ...no napkins or forks in the back ...never came back!! If you look for a good Chinese restaurant visit Dragon 88....

Food was ok, but not worth the price. I would maybe give it one more star, but after peeking in the open kitchen and seeing how dirty it is, I just can't do it and it's enough to keep me away. For much better food, comparable prices, and a cleaner kitchen, I'm driving across town to Singapore.

There are more Chinese restaurants in the US than Burger King, KFC, Wendy's and Taco Bell combined. I've tried countless in the central MA area, north of Worcester, and can attest to the fact that Gold Bowl in Leominster is one of the best. Here's why... 1. 100% consistency: of the 20 or so times I've ordered take-out/delivery, I've always gotten exactly what I expected-- Consistent delivery (~45 minutes, depending on time of day), hot food, congruent quality to all previous orders. 2. The girls who take orders speak clear and easily understood English and typically confirm the order by reading it back to you. If your order exceeds $25, they'll offer you coupon-free deals, like a free appetizer. 3. There are a lot of vegetarian options, and they accept off-menu requests if they can. The General Tso's is a little batter heavy, the spring rolls & egg rolls are a little on the greasy side. I highly recommend the Crab Rangoons, Beef or Chicken w/ Broccoli, and steamed dumplings. The white rice is long grain and has a better taste/texture than other places in the area and they also offer brown rice, which is a huge plus.

Best Chinese food in the area hands down! Fresh hot and tasty and never has the usual just microwaved feel that a lot of Asian restaurant have. Big portions and good pricing you can't go wrong

Me and my boyfriend just recently moved to leominster and have been scared to try a new Chinese food place (we are both VERY picky eaters) but being 9 months pregnant I got a craving and needed some! So we ordered from gold bowl.. We both agree BEST Chinese we have ever had!! We ordered at 9:50, got here by 10:04, very hot and delicious! We got a variety of stuff and everything was AMAZING

This is my "go to Chinese food place". I call on my way home from work and the food is ready within 10-15 min. They have brown rice, which some Chinese places do not have.

I've had several of their items and the common theme I found is dryness. Teriyaki beef and chicken was dry and boneless spare ribs were dry. This may make it healthier than some other Chinese restaurants but much less flavorful in my opinion. The crab rangoons, which I treat as a major determining factor, were ok but again a little bland and maybe a hint of a strange after taste. Egg roll seemed to have no meat in it. They don't need a lot but they should have some. It just seemed like a roll full of cabbage. Everything else was neither good nor bad, mostly run of the mill. I wouldn't never go here again but I'm looking for a better Chinese food restaurant.

Too much soy sauce (salty) in the udon dishes & fried rice. The calamari is thickly coated & chews like rubber. The egg roll is pure cabbage & grease with no meat or seafood inside. The wonton soup is more liquid than substance. The scallion pancake will break your teeth, it's deep fried too long. The teriyaki beef is tough & fatty. The Singapore rice noodle doesn't have enough vegetables. The Ho Fun dishes are only available at the Fitchburg site, yet it's on the on-line menu. The only good items are: Crab rangoon, udon dishes, & sometimes, the egg foo yung (need to drain more). All in all, the prices are steep for the low food quality. Very disappointing that there are no one-stop asian shopping places in Leominster. I go to another location for WT soup and a third place for some other dishes. Been leaning towards sushi because the best chinese restaurant is in Stow.

There are many chinese food places in the area, and this is by far the best one if you want quick take-out or delivery. The food has always been fresh, great tasting, and hot. I find myself trying a new item each time I order and have yet to find one I wouldn't order again. Bonus: They deliver to Lancaster for an additional charge!

We order delivery from here about once a week. Fast delivery, no msg in the food, friendly staff. I like that they allow you to order the lunch specials after 3pm for just $1 extra - still cheaper than their dinner time combos. This is great for me because one of their lunchtime dishes is a favorite, but I'm normally ordering at dinner time. They offer standard Chinese take-out fare, but also some curry dishes and tofu dishes that you don't find everywhere. I've always found the service to be good. It's obvious some nights that they are rushed due to a high volume of customers, but I've never found them to be rude; and the delivery folks always seem to have a smile on their face, even in gross weather.

My family and I love gold bowl we order from here at least once a week delivery is really fast usually at the house within 20minutes. I am vegetarian others in my family are not. We all love it. I especially like the general gaus tofu and tofu with vegetables. They also have brown rice which is a big deal when we are trying to eat healthy. The beef and broccoli pad Thai and crab ran goons are great too.

Gold Bowl is the truth! Well in Leominster it is...well for me! I used to eat at Jade II since it was down the street and Singapore is too far from us. So when we ordered from here, let me say we got hooked! Their pupu platters are great. The pupu for 2 feeds about 4 and has different appetizers for the all eaters. Spicy calamari is the BOMB! Spicy and sweet which I love that combo. General Gau is ok, I like it but not in love with it. Fried rices are made fresh especially the typically ordered pork fried rice. Veggie comes with an array of veggies thru out and the shrimp has plump shrimps not the small ones that you only get 2 thru out the rice. What also makes them awesome is if you order more the 20 bucks you get an order of egg rolls for free, 30 bucks is egg roll or small crab rangoons, and 40 bucks is general gau chix. Never bad when you order a bunch of food and you get something for free. This is the best thing to do to keep people coming back and that is including the food. There are delivery charges but its alot easier to pick up. Ample parking and they are fast. Usually 10-15 minutes from when you place your order and they keep your food warm under heating lamps till you get there. Now that my friends is awesome service and food!

Not bad, not bad. This place was slammed the night 'ol PR went, it seems very popular. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and need your fix of Chinese food, I wouldn't go very far out of my way for it though. Try the chicken Lo mein, and be sure and tell them Peter Rollins sent you!

Awesome food! Never greasy and always way more than we could eat in one sitting. Jenny is a doll-- miss her since we moved from 01453 a year ago. The lunch specials are great combos and very reasonably priced for the quality of food. So good in fact my husband made the trip back for New Years Eve chow!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
