Every time I come here the service is top notch! I have come here on a slow Wednesday and a busy Friday or Saturday and the staff are very attentive and helpful. This is my go to bar in Haverhill!

This has to be the worst food I have ever eaten....I got the pastrami sandwich and it had one piece of pastrami which looked like corned beef fry's are soggy bar tender was good probably because the place is empty very disappointed :(

I come here occasionally at night (when the night crawlers are out). This place is a dive bar. It's mostly a 20-30 y/o crowd, mostly wacked, mostly men. If you're a guy out for a beer with your buddies this place works fine.

Townie bar in a townie kind of town. Got scoffed at when asking for a "dessert wine" for the girl. Merloh, pinoh, and chahdonnay's all they've got. But when it comes to beer, there's a reasonable selection on tap, most notably BBC's Steel Rail EPA, which has a nice (but almost sophisticated) punch that classes the place up by itself. Note the smoker's door at the back of the bar. Unprotected by architecture, beware the icy blast across half the building when a smoker heads out for a nicotine hit!

Not a bad place to drink cheap. 2.00 pbr's. Food is good but my issue is the bartenders. Even if it's dead they aren't attentive at all. They'll walk by your empty glass numerous times till you flag them down and ask for another. They're not rude just don't seem to care. First time I went I thought maybe it was the one bartender but upon returning I've noticed every bartender does it. That was when it wasn't busy. I wouldn't wanna go in during a boston game or on a Friday night. Stay away if you like getting good service.

I grew up in Haverhill and remember going to this bar a couple years ago and had a good time. But I went in over this past weekend and now they make you pay for music on a juke box or else there is nothing playing at all. I just find that really strange and probably won't go there again because of that.

Says they close at 1am yet some guy, blonde hair, not sure what his position was, considering the entire time I was sitting at the bar, I never saw him, until he was literally screaming "LET'S GO" at exactly 1230.... I myself am a bartender and no way would I be yelling for people to leave 30 minutes PRIOR TO THE TIME POSTED (that we close) ON THE DOOR, WEBSITE, ECT. I understand last call, but to continuously stand there yelling for people to get out, 30 minutes before you officially even close is a little ridiculous. Tone it down a notch.

Atmosphere is non-existent. Bartenders as well as regulars are no more than degenerates and common thieves. The food is actually edible, though once you enter the place if you actually stay long enough that the bartenders realize you and take your order, its not that bad. Generic pub food. Don't think about mounting a complaint thus you may get asked to leave by an impassionate, dismissive female owner. Better download the "How to tip ad" prior to going because you will hear about it. Place smells like a foot marinated in two-day old beer. I recently left a clothing item behind after dinner and drinks with my significant other and was dismissed for days and actually ducked by the bartender on service that night, so wear your homeless clothes when you go there, Hell, everyone else does.

I Have had dinner there in the past and have always been pleased. A few days ago my gal and I went there for lunch. They have a small outside deck in the back (it could use a cleaning) that has about a half dozen tables with umbrellas. They have a sign saying best burgers in town so we decided to give them a try. WOW they have the best burgers in town OMG. My gal had a bacon cheeseburger and I had the Caprese burger. Both cooked to our liking, juicy, tasty and a real treat. The price was around $10 for each which we're finding is about average these days at a restaurant. The place lacks ambiance, but the food makes up for it. Plus, you can play Keno. We'll be back.

I came here for a couple wobbly-pops with my husband. The place was kinda stinky in a fry-o-lator sort of way. It didn't make me want to try the food, that's for sure. It seems like a "locals" sort of place where the patrons all know each other. The people and staff were not super friendly, but not rude either. I could take or leave this place. The bar area did offer a lot of seating, which was a bonus. They have a back deck that you can bring your drink on to if you want a lovely view of the stinkin' ol' Merrimack. That about sums it up.
