I have been here several times and will continue to go back. The food is always fresh and very good. The servers are always friendly and the service is great in restaurant and lounge. In lounge a game is always on and they have keno, can't go wrong ..

We drive from Marshfield to Hanover to get our take-out from Imperial Garden. They have been consistently the best Chinese restaurant we've found in the area. Dine-in is also a most enjoyable experience. They're worth the drive. If you live in Hanover, you are lucky, indeed. I'm getting hungry, just thinking about it...

I was looking for Chinese food around the cordial town of Massachusetts. I found a place called Imperial Garden it was very good in food terms. The presentation was very cruddy. But the brown rice was very commendable they also had terehaki on a stick it was splendid. The inside of the building needed to be cleaner. It looked very junky the design they tried to put needed some help. The food was good but the staging needed to be better.

Under new management as of 8/2014. For past 3 years I've spent, on average, $2000 per month in this place. On my first visit back upon their reopening I waited 20 minutes for service and then went to bar for service. On second visit we waited 30 minutes in the bar the staff didn't even acknowledge we were there, we left. I could understand if they were busy but both times there were less than 20 customers.

We stopped in to get a take out menu so glad we did! I have not been happy with the greasy food served at Tsangs and Beijing House, so we thought we would give Imperial Garden a try. Love that you can order a complete dinner for $10.00, the food was fresh and delicious. Great Food...give it a try!

I have to say as someone who has years of memories in this establishment it is sad to admit that the quality has declined over the years. The Food is not terrible (Chinese food can be hard to review) but the atmosphere and clientele will most certainly deter those of most discriminating tastes. As someone who used to frequent this restaurant before two upscale Asian restaurants opened just a minute away a part of me wants to return for loyalty's sake but I unfortunately can't bring myself to.

This our regular place for Chinese food. Its the tradional American/Chinese. Service is good, food is consistently good. Can't say the same from the other places we've tried in the area.

I go there every once in while for takeout so I can't comment on the dining experience, but I like the food here. Takeout is fast and the portions are large. I wish there was more flavor though, as others have said the "spicy" dishes are not spicy but it's OK if you just have a hankering for Chinese like I get sometimes.

This is my favorite Chinese food place ever. I don't think the staff has changed since I started going here back in 1996. I'm in Brooklyn now searching for a Chinese place that will make rice that comes close to theirs, but alas all they have here is this weird yellow rice. I want my brown pork fried rice and combination K! I'm definitely hitting this place up when I come home to visit my folks.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
