It's Chipotle. What more is there to say? The store seemed smaller than normal and was mainly a college kid hangout. They could definitely use a little more cleanup, but other than that my chicken bowl was great.

I've eaten food from here twice now, and have been disappointed both times. First time was barbacoa hard tacos - which were a wet, falling apart mess and I gave up and threw them away after 3/4 bites - not worth the effort. Second time - beef burrito to go - another wet, soggy mess which had to be double wrapped and placed in a bowl. There was not a lot of steak which is just as well because the meat was tough, stringy and a great snack for my dog. I guess I'm too old to appreciate the hipster decor and vibe. Won't be back.

Honestly, I've never been a fan of Chipotle. I know, I know... They're hip, and fun and funky. And a friend convinced me to go to this one last week, and sadly, it continued the poor experiences I've had previously. It was about 9:40 on a week night and they were out of: Chips, Guacamole, and Black Beans. They also forgot my quesadilla on the iron, and it was dark and carboardlike That said, the staff tried to be helpful (even going so far as to give those f us who wanted guac a half of an avocado) and while stressed at being out of things, they were nice, and friendly.

As much as I don't want to like Chipotle, I have to admit their burritos are decent: not greasy, mediocre tasty, but definitely the invention of a Southern Californian. But every time I order a burrito past 7:30pm, the filling's always cold, which ruins everything. Line gets too long in the evenings. I like Bueno Y Sano.

I was pretty freakin excited when I saw the Chipotle open up its one of the few fast food like chains that I recognize from living back in Texas so naturally I jumped at the chance to go there. But I was quite disappointed by a number of things as I was going down the food line. First of all let me just say that I got a burrito bowl so no burrito folding needed so that being said I was ready for them to pile on the toppings but the one topping I was looking forward to getting , the corn that bites back, was not the same color of all the other chipotle's that I've been to. *Disclaimer: I have been to quite a few all over the DFW and Houston TX area* l didn't think that their corn was supposed to look as white as it did. Thankfully nothing what I got on my bowl didn't look or taste funky. My boyfriend, however, did wind up getting a burrito and for some reason the woman who was folding his up broke it....I mean it was beyond hiding and repair, to the point where she asked him if he would either like a bowl or another layer of bread. Maybe some employee's need some more training? Maybe she just had an off day, who knows but we were sorely disappointing by the state of his burrito. Another thing to note, and this isn't official but its the only thing that makes sense was that night my boyfriend was really sick. This was the last meal we both had where we ate different things and didn't share. I have no idea what it could have been because we got really similar things in our food with the exception of two or three differences. But his stomach was doing cartwheels for a good portion of the night. All in all I am sorely disappointed by this location, I've had better chipotle experiences in the past and will not be coming back to this location in the future.

I had a similar experience to the previous reviewer but held my fire until I saw someone corroborate my experience. Here's the basics: the staff seems overwhelmed and didn't move the (very long) line along swiftly, the food was not warm enough (we had two different bowls, which was not the greatest concept in food presentation), our table was dirty and not wiped down, and the room in Hadley is too cold and uncomfortable because there isn't a vestibule, which allowed gusts of freezing air on our backs each time someone came in or out. I don't see the point in wasting my time there when you can go to Mi Tierra or El Comalito nearby. Chipotle, I hardly knew you.

Have had nothing but good experiences at this location, it's a little on the small side as Chipotle locations I've been to go, but the staff is friendly and they work as quick as they can given how this place works. 4 stars because let's face it, a chain can never be as good as the local places like Bueno Y Sano

Staff is sure friendly, but food was horrible, their liquor license still pending . Hmm

Inexpensive, delicious, simple, fast and fresh. You choices are exactly what you would expect from an Americanized Mexican restaurant, hard shelled tacos, burritos and shell-less burrito bowls. Good choices of well seasoned meats and veggies. Simple bare-bones interior styling. You can eat for around $6 or $7. They're trying to be a little aware of their environmental impact with antibiotic free meats. But here's what I have noticed about the four different Chipotle's I have been too around New England...THEY'RE CONSISTENT! Every one of them has had the same flavors, the same prices and a reasonably happy staff...and when you're having a comfort food kind of day, you want to know exactly what you're getting.

I've had Chipotle a couple times before going to this location. It has always been alright never really a place that I would go out of my way to go to. This time that I went to Chipotle it was busy busy. Tables were filled with people and trash. The line was long and people had to wait for certain items . Understandable since there was a lot of customers. I do recommend that Chipotle increase their selections of fillings. unfortunately after this visit I got quite sick definitely some type of food poisoning not sure from what food item it was . So I probably won't be going back in fear that I might get sick again.

I've been here twice and was very happy both times. I ordered online and the food was exactly how I ordered it, no incorrect ingredients or mess-ups. Very hot and great quality. Both times I ordered around lunchtime/early afternoon. The black beans and rice taste great. I love that you can pay online and select a time to pick it up. Definitely will be back.

This location has three reviews so far and each is under 2 stars. Why?? I've eaten there four times so far and it's never been less than really good. The staff does seem a little new at this, several times I've seen them need help with register issues and the tables could perhaps use a wipe more frequently, but who cares. The food is excellent. I only ever get the burrito bowl with barbacoa, brown rice, mild salsa, sour cream, guac and lettuce. I discovered early on that it's one of my favorite tastes ever, so why deviate from what works? Maybe some day, far in the future, I'll try something else. Till then I've got something I can't stop slapping the table over.

There's something about this Chipotle that just doesnt compare to the rest- their products seem less than the average quality of any other Chipotle that I have ever visited. I only go here for the vegetarian (veggies only) bowl with lots of guacamole. I honestly remember a Chipotle near Boston telling me that they made their guac every few hours to make sure it was always fresh. Not this location! Time and time again, the guac is brown and just.. gross. There arent any onions/cilantro in it either- just mashed up brown avocados. It's like they just stir it up and think the brown will mix in? Another issue I've had is that they do not drain anything. I've gotten bowls that have had huge puddles- half bean liquid and half salsa- and they were honestly just inedible. The cheese also doesnt seem to be the typical Chipotle cheese. I figured they'd all use a similar distributor to ensure quality products across all locations? It's like this store just goes to Big Y and buys over ripe avocados for guac and a big bag of cheap cheese and pours it right into the bin. Seating is also awkward here- other places have cute little set ups with seats around the windows, while this location only has tables. They're all really close together and many of them are in the way of the line that's ordering and the soda machines. I know it's a chain, but it's a GOOD chain. This is literally the only location that has let me down. A few weeks ago I drove all the way to Chicopee just to receive a quality veggie bowl- they're that bad!

It's in a college town, so when the semester is on-going expect very long lines, long wait times, and lots of college aged kids who like to be loud and make messes. Either go when the semester is over or at non-peak hours, the employees can only do so much with a non-stop flow of customers for 5+ hours. Otherwise, all the times I've been here (which, being honest, is a lot!) I've loved it. The only other location I've been to is in Chicopee and their staff isn't as nice, and they're more likely to burn or under-cook their product. My only complaint, and I don't know if this is done on purpose (why would it?) but it seems all the lights above the tables flicker in and out at random. Kind of annoying when eating to have it suddenly get dark. Would also be nice if they had a bigger location to add more seating.

I would agree that this place is not nearly as clean as the Chipotle in Chicopee. We had to clean our own table and there was trash all over the floor. Even though Chipotle is good, they're not nearly as good as Two Rivers Burrito in Westfield for almost the same price. The chips were strangely soggy tonight, and I would like fresh tomatoes without the cilantro or whatever is in the mix. My son had a request for some nacho cheese sauce for the nacho chips, and there was a request for a ranch dressing instead of sour cream for a light dressing option. If you don't want salsa, or your kids do not want salsa, there isn't much to moisten the burrito. I'm not sure if they offer ranch dressing if you choose a salad, but when we asked for ranch tonight, they did not offer it.

Veggie burrito-mild with brown rice, pinto beans, cheese, lettuce and sour cream. Should try their famous guac next time. Good for a quick and cheap eat.

It's a typical Chipotle nothing too fancy. But compared to my regular one in Virginia this place is a hott mess. Portions are so so small. I had to ask twice for more meat & beans. The guy literally put rice back into the container after he put it on my taco because it was too much for a single serving. I mean seriously? It was maybe a quarter of the spoon size any way. The worst part of this place is the college students. I'm not long out of college myself but PEOPLE PICK UP YOUR TRASH. Yes all caps was needed to write that. I literally watch a group of six young frat guys leave huge chunks of food & all their dirty napkins on the table & floor while they cruised to the door. If you're going to act like a pig at least leave a tip for the poor kid that's gotta clean up your mess. We had a hard time finding a place to sit because nothing was cleaned off. They seemed a little short staffed because the guy at the register was doing double duty by cleaning tables. It was pretty pack hence the lack of clean tables. This place could be good if people used common decency. Apparently everyone was raised in a barn here.

When my wife & I were first dating, she suggested going to Chipotle. This was when we lived in Cambridge and had a ton of options, I was surprised that she would suggest Chipotle over El Pelon. Well, we went, and thus began my love affair with this place. Needless to say, I was pretty excited when I caught wind that they were opening one in Hadley, down the street from my job. Specifically to this location, the staff is always friendly, deals well with the often super-crowded dinner rushes, and is sensitive to dietary restrictions or allergies. Not specific to this place, the guac is fantastic, the chips are the best, and SOFRITAS! I'll continue going to Bueno Y Sano, also, but Chipotle's burritos are different. Not in the same league, and really, to me they don't compete with each other. You either want one or the other.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
