Great Pizza - Yummy carmalized onion/feta/pine nut. Amazing desserts - really nice to stop in when you come off the Pike into Natick. So hard to get to from my house - almost a 45 minute round trip at dinnertime to go three miles. The folks are nice and I would come in once a week but the road is scary in the dark.

Great pizza & sandwiches. A new local favorite

I am completely addicted to their pizza. I can't even honestly say it's because it's the best pizza I've ever had, but there is just SOMETHING about it that makes me crave it. Not to mention I love the pastries......great now I'm hungry

I'm pretty particular about my pizza and this pizza is really really good. My wife loves the BBQ chicken with jalapeños. I like the Mediterranean. But you can not go wrong. We've had the shrimp and the caramelized onion too and they both rock. We've yet to have a bad pie. For the kids I like Nick's on 135 in Natick. But the adults go with North End Treats!

n.e. treats has the best pizza in town, with their ny-style pizzas. our favorite is the vegetarian pizza, but we usually substitute some sausage for the eggplant. there's something about the sweet peppers that they put on it that make it truly glorious! we've never had a bad experience. they also have some great italian desserts that can satisfy a sweet tooth, without having to drive into town and struggle with finding parking. we especially love the lobster tails and tiramisu! the people there are also very friendly and accomodating. we had a party last year and wanted to have mini lobster tail favors, so they baked for us about 50 mini ones and individually packed them. if you haven't tried them yet, you really have to, you won't be disappointed!

Have had some slices of their pizza as well as some of their sweet stuff. Pizza was great -especially given the "by the slice" format which can be lame 9 out of 10 times. People behind the counter were really friendly as well. The desserts were insanely good looking and really tasty will more than satisfy any sweet cravings.

Cute little place. You can only really do take-out, but the sandwiches are good. I have heard the pizza is good, but have not tried it yet. They have fresh cannoli and other desserts that are very good.

I really liked the panini and lobster tail pastry that I ordered. I'll definitely make a return trip!

When I first reviewed this place, it was new and did not have its act together. So, I tried it again, and I agree with others that the pizza is very good, and I now recommend it. However, the delivery hours are somewhat bizarre.

I've ordered from North End Treats for lunch and let me tell you.. that pizza was, as you Bostonians would say, "Wicked good". Yum... BBQ Chicken Pizza.... and they made it pretty quickly. I will definately return for more!

I am still searching for a good local place where I can find good take-out. This probably comes the closest to that... Good desserts, my favorite pizza in the area, and good coffee. The panini and sandwiches are also good. It can be a little challenging to get out of their parking lot though if you're making a left onto route 30.

A little North End gem in Framingham. The pizza is great and the pasta dishes are incredible. They have the best chicken, broccoli ziti with white wine sauce that I've had in a long time. Also, they have amazing cannolis and Neapolitans. If you live out in Metrowest, try this place out.

  • Diane L.

yes, there's no place to sit and eat. yes, it's a weird location. yes, I understand that some people actually eat, and like, Pizza Hut. but for really great thin crust pizza, this is the best in MetroWest. extra love to the fig and proscuitto pizza.

  • elisabeth h.

This is the best italian place I have ever been to! The canolis were amazing and the tastiest panini was the chicken pesto one! My friends and i have travel forty minutes to get there and its deffinately worth it!

As a pizza connoisseur (and Italian) , I am psyched to finally be able to get decent, well made pizza without driving into the North End. In the Natick / Framingham land of chain restaurants....WELCOME NORTH END TREATS! These guys serve fantastic brick oven pizza, with the greasy provolone/mozzarella cheese blend and authentic tasty crust. Service is so / so, and there's no where to sit, but if you love really good pizza, stop on in. In addition to the pizza, they have authentic pasteries and bread from Bova's in the North End. I can;t believe I have a place to get Sfogliatelle (A flaky, multi-layered, clam shaped pastry filled with ricotta cheese and diced citron fruit.)...just wonderful...although I asked one of the servers for it by name and they were like ..."oh these??". Oh well. If you've never tried one..go for it... or better yet, start with the "Lobster Claws", they are similar but bigger and most people like them better.

  • Jody G.

Best pizza in metrowest! Favorites are roasted veggie and the fig and prosciutto. Sauce is on the sweeter side and crust is perfection. The desserts from Bova's bakery are sinful! Only drawback is there is no place to sit--business is all take-out.

  • Latitada H.

This joint serves one of the best pies in town. It's worth the trip.

  • Valerie A.

The pizza is great, nice selection, tasty...great thing crust. Our office often orders 3-4 pizza for meetings, etc. and several of us often order the pizza on our own. The treats are the "piece de resistance!" and so reasonably priced. Was shocked when I saw lobster tails at a bakery downtown Natick for nearly twice the price! They are as delicious as they look. The cannoli's are another favorite!

Used to be great - something has changed. I have been regularly ordering take out from NET for about a year. At first, it was definitely the best in the Natick-Framingham area if you don't want Greek-style pizza. But lately, the dough has been chewy and undercooked, and the pizza is wet and doesn't hold up, it falls apart - feels like the dough is unevenly prepared and the ratio of cheese and sauce is off. Tonight, I finally spoke up and called them back after my husband returned with an unedible pizza, and they replaced it, but the replacement wasn't much better. So, we'll be taking a break from this place until the owners figure out what the problem is - either the recipe, the ovens or the people making the pies need some changing...

  • Dana J.

I am a pizza connoisseur and this is one of the best pizza I have ever eaten. Thin crust but with a distinct tomato flavor. My family and I have become addicts. The pastries look really good, but it is the pizza that I am excited about. Also, the employees know a thing or two about pizza - when we tried to change one of their special pizzas they firmly told us that it was not going to work and advised against it. I appreciated that !

    (5)
  • Jeffrey L.

The cannoli was good. It wasn't quite as good as Bova's in the North End, but it was nice to have access to something similar while I was in the Natick area.

Tonight my coworkers and I ordered from North End Treats. Out of 7 people we all LOVED their pizza, sandwiches and desserts. We got 4 pizzas, a chicken pesto pannini and a whoopie pie (which was HUGE) and the most delicious tiramisu cups ever!!! They were the SHIZZLE!! We ordered ahead and everything was ready, hot and correct. Thanks for a great place to eat so close to work!!

After moving to the area from NYC/Philadelphia, my boyfriend and I were looking for a pizza place to call our own. After driving by North End Treats many times, we decided to place an order to pick up. We had previously ordered sub-par pizza from another place in Framingham and still looking for a great pie. When we got there to pick up our large pizza with pepperoni and green pepers, they were taking it out of the oven, and it looked and smelled AMAZING! The girls at the counter were nice and friendly, as were the 2 gentlemen making the pizzas. After I stared at the dessert case for a few minutes, we decided to get a couple of cannolis too. We dug in as soon as we got home and were so impressed by how delicious this pizza was! The crust was the perfect combination of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside...the brick oven definitely makes the pizza. The sauce was tasty and the cheese was perfectly melted, obviously using high quality mozzarella. We are still talking about this pizza have found "our place" and will absolutely be going back!

Ok, I have to tell you... I found this place on Yelp I came all the way from Worcester here. I wasted every single ounce of gasoline and my time by coming here. DO NOT COME HERE! Go to your mom and pops Greek place and you will have the best bang for your buck! I spent $33 dollars on a small salad , a small pizza 4 cheese and 2 cans of soda , YES $33!!!!!!! Never coming back, portion was small and nothing like I thought it would be like, not sure why other viewers would rate it 4 starts... Ops, almost forgot about the attitude of the employees, almost like they wanted to say " just leave this place , your bothering me "

    (1)
  • Chris D.

Pizza is not as good as papa Gino, that's a problem considering their name. Got a can of soda with lunch, it was not that cold, so I asked for a cup with ice...they didn't have ice! What kind of restaurant doesn't have ice? Good selection of pastry.

  • Amanda C.

Updating my review because times have changed at North End Treats.. and for the better!! When I was here recently I had the same fig and prosciutto pizza which was delicious and I also got the tiramisu and canoli chips with dip. The food was so good, and I have to say that the tiramisu is some of the best I've ever had. On top of the delicious food, the service has much improved! Everyone working was smiling, happy, and just very pleasant.

  • Dan P.

Pizza is sub par. Chewy crust shows they use all purpose flour. Orange oil on top shows they are using cheap cheese. Table was dirty and had to clean myself. $16 for a cheese pizza and two drinks , better compared to Dominos but that's not saying much.

  • Parker K.

Hole in the wall place with EXCELLENT food. Chicken pesto panini was fresh and delicious. 2 baked goods (chocolate mousse with chocolate cake, and pistachio pear tart) were some of the best pastries we've ever tasted. Their AC is crappy (and I wish they had more seating) but for food this good I'll be back. Panini + 2 desserts + 2 small coffees = $20 total.

    (5)
  • Jonathan K.

The food is excellent including sandwiches and dessert. They have a pear - pistachio tart that is the best pear pastry I have ever tasted! They have a lot of variety including paninis and lots of types of pizza. The only issue is that the coffee is bitter and they don't do defac espresso. The seats are comfortable and the pricing is good for Massachusetts. A lot of people do take out but you can enjoy yourself there by a table.

I used to live in Natick and would order pizza from here every once in a while. I've also ordered catering for events for my kids, as well. We moved to Ashland a few years ago so we're not in the area as often. I knew I'd be there today and ordered a pizza to pick up on the way by. It was so delicious that I will now dream about it until the next time I can have it. The most solid Italian-style pizza in metro west.

    (5)
  • Bryan W.

The pizza is okay, but the desserts are worth the trip. If I had one meal left on earth it would include the dessert the guy behind the counter said had no name, but was topped with the lobster tail filling and peanut butter cups. It is that good.

  • Mckenzie G.

This is an interesting mix of bakery and pizza place. The building is set back from the busy on/off ramp of the Mass Pike and doesn't have all that much parking or seating inside. The staff was friendly and quickly waited on me. It seems that the buffalo chicken pizza is the thing to get here as that is what 3 of the people before me ordered and what they had for slices, so I went with a slice of that. The slices are huge. Definitely enough for lunch. They are thin crust and not that cheesy or saucy. It didn't look as good as it tasted. Next time I will have to try the baked goods - they looked pretty tasty.

About 8 months after moving to the area we've sampled pizzas from half a dozen local places and even Papa Ginos. None were terrible, but coming from the NY metro area none were really great. Until North End Treats. We've been driving by it on our way to and from Target all this time, but for some reason never stopped in. The pizza is spot on. We made our own pie with meatball and caramelized onions and it didn't even last the night. Usually we have a few slices left for lunch the next day. We've found our pizza place and plan on making this a pizza night staple. As if the pizza wasn't enough - the pastries. Oh my god the pastries. They don't have the dozens and dozens of cookies and pastries that a traditional italian bakery does, but the selection is delicious. We got a sampling of (almost) everything. The lobster tails were the best we'd ever had. The cream puffs were more of the same. The eclair was excellent as was the napoleon. Next time we have to try the whoopee pies. Forgot to get one of those. All in all the prices are great. The food is great. And the pastries are great.

I have been enjoying their pizza since they opened in Framingham/Natick. Tonight we ordered a pepperoni/mushroom and sausage/onion pizza. Over the years we have seen the quantity of toppings dwindle but the taste has always been excellent. Gotta say the onions on the sausage/onion pizza were hard to find. Little bitty pieces of that reminded me of bacon bits. I put more onion when I brown hamburger meat than they had in their pizza. Still tasted good but when we order the extras we want to get them!!

I finally stopped in a couple of weeks ago to grab some lobster tails to bring home for dessert that evening and have a slice of pizza for lunch. I had read good reviews on here so I was excited to try North End Treats. There were a couple of tables available as it was just before noon. The pizza was very good. I am particular about pizza crust and North End Treats had great dough. Thin and crispy. I am only giving 4 stars though because I thought there could have been a few more slices of meat on it. Otherwise a great option for pizza by the slice. 5 stars for the lobster tails! Best I have had. Filling was not overly sweet and outside was flaky & crunchy. We kept two in the fridge until the next day and they were still crunchy! I will be back for pizza and will try another pastry. Maybe cannoli. By the time I left, the lunch crowd was lining up and take out pizza was going strong.

Love this place! The pizza is a tad oily but the sandwiches are good and the bakery is really excellent. I love how they have tiny versions of popular treats for when you are super full but want something sweet at the end. The place is kind of small but that's ok, the service was great and they even have Boar's head meats in their deli (woo my fav)

Lobster tail! Lobster tail! Lobster tail! I literally go to North End Treats just to get their delicious cream-filled puff-pastry. It is so good and really pretty. I've gotten several other desserts here, but this is my favorite! Their pizza is pretty good too and the staff is really nice (the desserts aren't labelled and they were very patient with me asking 'what's that one'? about 15 times). Be careful if you get the tiramisu, though, it definitely has a rum-flavored kick :)

Three strikes and you're out. I ordered a dozen cannolis I asked her if it was fresh they said they were "just made". The shells were soft from sitting in the cooler for hours. Brought them home where I had guest visiting from Italy, needless to say we threw them out. The last two times I went in for pizza it was no better than Papa Gino's.

  • Stacy M.

Very solid option for pizza delivery in Framingham. Crust has a nice balance of fluff, crunch, and chew; there was a good ratio of sauce to toppings; and both times we ordered, it appeared that the pizza had been made fresh. Nothing is more disappointing than getting a pizza that has been reheated and tastes dried up. Bonus points to North End Treats for having pastries too. The lobster tail that was delivered our last round did not have powdered sugar on top, much to my husband's chagrin. I guess all that cannoli filling was not enough sugar already!? ;) But, it was still darn tasty. I'm guessing there are other options for Italian pastries in the Metrowest area, but it's nice to know North End Treats is around in case we need a fix!

  • J B.

Not a fan. They've got a real problem with customer service. Some small businesses are really focused on going the extra step for their customers. Some, like North End Treats, are not. We'll be returning to our old standby, Gianni's.

Stopped by here for lunch by accident, glad I've found the place, when I'm not near my favorite pizza place intown, this is the next best thing! Fresh ingredients makes for the perfect pizza#

Incredible pizza. Incredible pizza. Incredible pizza. Ok??? If you didn't know it was there you'd drive right past it. Nice little hidden gem.

We ordered 3 slices of pizza and 2 'build your own pasta' dishes. Pizza was incredibly greasy. The top of the pizza was just a pool of oil. The pasta- one with spaghetti + marinara + meatballs, the other was penne + marinara + meatballs. Both pasta dishes were swimming in a cup and a half of water each. They didn't drain the pasta. We had to drain the dish over the trash can. We would have bought dessert except for the fact that everything was terrible. The food was not worth the $30 already spent.

Solid thin crust pizza, especially for MA. Best I've found within a few miles of Wayland.

    (4)
  • Douglas W.

An absolute hidden gem. I've really only stuck to the basics, pizza and dessert and I haven't been disappointed. The pizza is made in a brick oven and delivers the perfect charred, crispy crust. You can tell they use high quality mozzerella with the perfect amount of saltiness. Throw on meatballs and ricotta for my favorite pie. The true standout, however, is their dessert. The lobster tail is as good as you'll find in the real north end and always leaves you wanting for more. You'll need to show up early to score one, though, as they tend to sell out quickly. Do yourself a favor and plan a trip here next time your in the Framingham area.

Just picked up an order of cannolis from north end treats. I ordered them on Saturday for a Sunday pickup. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was lovely and said he would personally handle my order. When I arrived to Pick up my dozen large mixed cannolis they weren't large. They were small. The girl behind the counter was polite but informed me it would take an additional 15 to fix the order and then proceeded to wait on an additional 6 people instead. I realize I am not the only customer but I was dissatisfied. I took the cannolis anyway as I didn't have time to wait. I am sure they will be delicious and I will give north end treats another chance but that's it. They mess up another order and I won't be back again. Now I need to make another stop for something because what I have isn't enough. Thanks.

*This* place garners four stars in Natick? You Natickers have some low standards, my friends. Granted, an hour before closing is not the best time to come into any pizza place but it was an HOUR, not 10 minutes before close. They were done making pizzas and were already in the process of cleaning up so I opted for slices. Upon returning to my hotel room and examining them, I guessed they were from today's lunchtime. No more recent than that. And this was around 8PM. I threw the slices away and slunk downstairs for brutal (but better) food in the lobby of my Marriott Courtyard. I was going to withhold the one-star review, which I hate to give, until I tried their whoopie pie, but that was just as awful as the pizza. This place gives you a box with a big flag that says "Proud to be an American." Wish they had as much pride in the food they serve.

  • Stephanie S.

If you live in the Natick or Framingham area, there is no better tasting pizza in my opinion. Yes, the cheese pizza is $2 more than other places, but you get quality cheese, sauce, and crust. Delicious! This is a small take-out pizza place. There are only about 4 small tables. Also, it's only open until 8pm Sun.-Wed. I wish it was open later. Otherwise, this place is great.

I just had my second experience at North End Treats in Framingham, MA. The first time i ordered a turkey sub loaded with all of the veggies and I enjoyed it quite a bit. This time however, I ordered a tuna sub and it was decidedly the WORST tuna sub I've ever had. The tuna was completely DRY. It seems as thought they just opened a can of tuna fish, drained out all of the water and then dumped it onto one of their sub roll (which fell apart). I think these guys should just remove the tuna option from the menu completely because it's obviously not their forte.

Got a margarita pizza and it was delicious. Very tasty. The mozzarella was fresh and the crust was perfectly fluffy. I ordered a canolli too and it was great. Also, they deliver!

I'm from New York and was so happy to find a place that had a New York style pizza. I always get their 4 cheese pizza, it's amazing. They have good desserts too: lobster tails, chocolate mouse cake, and strawberry cake are delicious.

We checked into the red roof inn across the street and didn't want to go far for dinner. And so glad we didn't!! The pizza was amazing! Not to mention the yummy pastries! Holy cannoli is this place amazing!!

Hidden little gem on the Route 30 strip. Sampled some part peanut butter, part brownie, part dark chocolate cookie bar beyond good enough to have me coming back to try more treats.

I went today for the first time. The cupcakes had a greasy taste to them and the icing did too. The panini had too much pesto sauce and the bread tasted like the panini iron had not been cleaned.

    (2)
  • Jason W.

Love the pizza though price is a tad on the high side. Parking is plentiful and its right off Route 30/Mass Turnpike which is easy to get to. Cannolis were pretty good. Only disappointment is service. Seems I have to move around and wave my arms to get noticed.

I love the pizza here... it is not the normal type of pizza I usually like but it is always cheesy! They have a very thin floppy crust pizza. It is always very greasy which to me is a sign of good cheesy pizza! I haven't tried their sandwiches but we order them for work events frequently and everyone loves them. Their basic salad is oddly basic... lettuce, tomato and baby carrots. Their delivery takes at least an hour during lunch time - more like an hour and half most times! The prices are a little higher than other pizza places around but I think it is worth it - you definitely pay for what you get. I am not including my review on their baked goods because they come from Bova's Bakery in Boston not from North End Treats. (but I do love the lobstah tails!! - I haven't liked any of the other baked goods I tried)

This little American style pizza joint has a domed oven and modest selection of nice pastries. They have some pizza selections that are intriguing. The American style sandwiches and such are descent and made with good ingredients.

Pizza crust was fine. The pizza was not. Their pizza sauce is what ruins it. No flavor at all. The ingredients however were fresh. They need to make a better pizza sauce.

Always our go-to place when we have or are going to a dinner party. All if the desserts are phenomenal!!!! Definitely make sure to try a lobster tail....they are wonderful!

We ordered a large pizza from there this evening with several meat toppings and vegetables. It was actually pretty bland despite all of the ostensibly tasty toppings. The crust was soft and soggy - we were expecting more of a thin, crispy, crust (picked it up at the 20 min mark so it wasn't sitting there long). The fellow that grabbed our pie was extremely friendly and helpful.

Ordered the large BBQ Chicken & Steak pizza at my last visit and for my first visit, I was sold. The pizzas are large (like literally, not the dominos "large") and fulling. I believe they used BBQ sauce instead of tomato which was a great idea but felt overwhelming at some points. One pizza had me out - it was big and satisfied my hunger. The chicken placed on the pizza is huge and delicious. I definitely recommend this pizza shop to anyone thats loves pizza and tired of the generic chain pizza shops. Each pizza was $16.99, totaling at about $33. A bit expensive but worth every dollar. The customer service was great and one of the guys that works there is a cutie with a hot body - (; Bonus: You get to see the pizza made - flips, spins, and etc.

Not enough cheese on the pizza. If I come back will definitely have to order extra cheese on the pizza.

So I discovered NET through Yelp when looking for a pizza place from which to get some pie for my friends. I was absolutely, surprisingly pleased! I am a fan of the upscale flatbread pizzas you tend to get in town with healthy toppings and all and I've had a hard time finding pizza I like in Metrowest, until I tried NET's pizza. I was so excited to find a great pizza place that I went back for lunch, was excited by the slices again, enjoyed my salad which stayed fresh overnight even thought I left it out, so I went again the next chance I got. The third time was unfortunately not a charm. I can only think it was the time of day...somewhere between lunch and dinner time on a Saturday. The pizza slices had a totally different flavor and were slightly burnt. I suspect they had been sitting there all afternoon. I ordered little mini cannoli's for dessert and what I liked about them is that they are not overloaded with sugar, but, after the pizza, I almost got a bit disappointed with that too. The service has been consistently good. The people seem competent, helpful, attentive. No doubt I'll get another good pie if I order it fresh made or order it during primetime. Because I didn't taste the pizza until I had made it out of the parking lot, I didn't tell them directly. I have a feeling they would have addressed my concerns, but I'll never know, and it doesn't matter now. I would still go back. One of the down sides is the location on a very busy part of cochituate Rd where it can be difficult to get out at times. But, when you find a good place, it's worth it. I am curious about all the other offerings and may try some of them now that my excitement for their pizza has been tempered a bit. I am certain they have a secret recipe in their sauce that has eluded most pizza places and I do feel like I am eating an honest-to-goodness old-fashioned north end pizza here. I probably will try the lobster tails next!

The delivery service is awesome. Came before 45 minutes and we were on the opposite side of Framingham. Cheese slice was a 5.7. Broccoli and zeti was a 8.1. BBQ chic was a 8.7. All reviews are out of a score of 10 and on gut, there are no criteria for them. You're welcome

Some of the best pizza around. I'm a huge pizza fan, and this place nailed it. Brick over Italian style pizza. Hasn't let me down yet and I've been here over a dozen times. Their Italian pastries (esp Cannoli's) are also delicious! Go here and get their pizza!

My Company decided to try something different for an office bday party - Got six pizzas all got really good reviews - I tried the Buffalo Chix which was a little sweet for my taste but still good and the meatastic Italian - it was an Ita Sub on top of a pizza (def going to gym but it was worth it) - Even the salad was decent for a pizza shop (meaning it sucked but was edible). I will def try again

  • Andrew R.

The lobster tail pastry and the large whoopie pie I ate were two of the most delicious pastries I have ever had. Why the place opens so late is a mystery to me, since I like an early morning pastry with my coffee. But the wait for it to open was well worth it!

I got an individual Italian pizza, and a canoli, and both were decent. i was a bit disappointed with the pizza because the meat was barely separated at all. I had bites with all cheese and bites with way too much meat and the slices were all stack on top of each other near the center of the pizza, which is pretty lazy on the pizza maker's part. The ingredients were definitely good, I could taste how good it could've been if the shoddy workmanship didn't get in the way.

Pizza is good, prices could be better pastry is great, service is getting better was a time they took for ever to make a pie.

First of all, the pizza served here blows every cardboard pizza chains out of the water. I especially recommend Margarita pizza, something you don't often see in the delivery pizza chains. Their prosciutto paninis are top notch as well. They also have a cool section of desserts. I've only tried lobster tail and tiramisu, but they are both made in heaven. Great stuff. Now there is a small down side to this place. It's mainly with the delivery. I'm already thankful that a quality restaurant like this actually does delivery, but flaw is a flaw, so hear me out. Ordering delivery is quite a risky and dangerous task when it comes to North End Treats. I usually just order the same things over and over since I've already tried everything I wanted to try. I've recently noticed the total price seems to fluctuate despite the fact that I order the same stuff. I just let it go since it was too late to complain, but if you want to call them for a delivery and you are ordering the same stuff, make sure you have your previous receipt in your hand so if they make a transaction mistake, you can ask them what's up. I have no idea why but the delivery guy is probably carrying the pizza in a wrong way. Once, I got my pizza and when I opened the box, I was greeted with a pizza with all the cheese and ingredients slightly migrated to one side. Which made the experience pretty uneven in my mouth. Not a pleasant thing at all. Despite these flaws, it's a great place and if you like pizzas in general, you should definitely give it a try!

Awesome North End desserts in Natick. Need I say more? I picked up a couple boxes of pastries on one day, bought the totally yummy and adorable gigantic whoopie pie to bring to a dinner. Great to pop in with the kids easy in and out for quick coffee and dessert. The pizza was just ok which is why I'm only giving 4 stars. Prefer deli-max or Natalie's pizza.

After dinner at Five Guys, it was time for a little something sweet, so we swung over North End Treats! They had glass display cases of sweet selections, including three sizes of whoopie pies, and I spotted a boardful of frozen yogurt flavors plus over 20 choices of toppings, but we went for the lobster tail. If you haven't had one before, that's a crispy (if you're lucky!) shelled pastry stuffed full of a whipped cream filling. We were lucky that night. The shell was indeed crispy. The whipped cream was full of a sweet dairy flavor. It was good! I'd get it again.

Legit brick oven pizza. If you like piping hot thin crust pizza with a LITTLE too much oil (similar to papa ginos), then this is it. This place is tiny but dont let it fool you, the pizza is delicious. however its called North End treats but I feel like that shouldnt be the focus. While they have an amazing selection of sweet tooth satisfiers, this is not THE place to go for them. I had the tiramisu cup (yum) and the butterscotch 7-layer bar (dry) so its a small sampling of what they offer but wasnt wow'd. 4 stars on the pizza alone. Def a stop that needs to be made if you are in the area.

I've gone here several times since this place opened. I even ordered about 200 mini lobster tails and cannolis for a party I held one time. Everyone absolutely loved them and kept asking where we got them. I have gone in a couple of times recently to grab one of their mini cannolis but I was really bummed to find out that they had removed their frozen yogurt machine! I asked an employee about it and they said the machine had too many problems and broke too often and they hadn't been selling as much of it as they used to. I was bummed because their froyo was delicious! That being said, this place is definitely a local gem and there isn't anything like it in the area! You should definitely check it out and order a pizza from there! Their lobster tails are also amazing!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Froyo was yummy! I think I am going to stick to Frozen Dairy product variations rather than pastries. Every time I try to like a pastry I am just not impressed. They all look absolutely decadent so I tried a few. Tried the mini creme horn, mini eclair, and mini cream puff. Of them I liked the cream puff the best since it did have real cream and not frosting. However, the calzone that was rising looked awesome. It takes an hour to rise so you need to call ahead. I am going back to try the pizza, calzone and work my way down the pastries. As they say never give up. The choc bomb may be a winner. There are a few tables inside but seems like it is mostly take out. They have a giant ice cream cone near their sign outside even though they don't really have ice cream. The staff were friendly and quick.

The pizzas here are incredible! You can watch them make them in front of you. And all the pizzas are artisan! I can say without much doubt that they pizzas they serve here are unique to this place - if you eat a lot of 'regular' pizzas like Papa John's, you'll be blown away by this place in quality and uniqueness. You can get pastries here too, although it is obvious that the places doesn't specialize in Pastries. They have indoor seating, but it's a joke so order out... always.

I resolved to finally try North End Treats after hearing so much about them from my coworkers. After reading reviews from where else, Yelp, I decided I'd order a prosciutto/fig pizza, lobster tail and 7 layer bar. The girl who answered the phone said so quickly "North End Treats please HOLD!" So I did. A man then came on and was incredibly nice in taking my order in pretty much the friendliest voice I've ever heard. Fast forward to the pickup. The young girl wearing a Dover-Sherborn t-shirt snappily asked if I needed help, made me repeat my name 3 times and in picking out my pastry when I made the mistake of pointing at the 7-layer bar I wanted she sighed loudly and said "TELL ME which one!" Ooo ...I definitely caught someone on a bad day, or maybe she was upset about having to work on a Saturday night. However I could have done without the attitude I saw her sling at another patron as I was leaving. Now the food, pure ecstasy! I have never been so thoroughly satisfied with a pizza before. The lobster tail was perfect and made with a french cream instead of ricotta (I hate the ricotta ones). I was so full I could only spare a few bites of the seven layer bar which was also excellent. I believe I've found my new pizza spot! The food is so good I may just overlook the girls attitude.

stick to the treats. they can't even get the ingredients to a margarita pizza correct, let alone the amount of grease that was on it(margarita pizza, sauce, basil, and mozzarella.) they decide to hammer on the parmesan cheese(not an ingredient), tomato slice(not an ingredient), and little basil, yet charge more for it. might as well have gotten a cheese pizza for less, and settled for the same grease job. couldn't even pick up a slice without the cheese falling right off it.

My experience with North End Treats got off on the wrong foot by ordering their Buffalo Chicken Pizza. It's not the strongest item on their menu. It was more like Jalapeno chicken pizza with a bit of hot sauce and onions. Too hot. Not good. I did feel like a survivor after eating it though. We gave it some time, after seeing North End Treats on the PhantomGourmet, we went back and it was a great experience. My favorite is a ricotta and meatball pizza they call "The David." Also their Wed. deal - Two large cheese pizzas, four mini-cannoli, and a 2 liter bottle of Coke for $19.99 is great.

Decent, but nothing special. I was super excited to try their steak sandwich panini but it was a pretty big disappointment, especially given the pricetag. Our company always orders their pizzas for our office shindigs, and I suppose it probably is the lesser of many other evils around Framingham....

Growing up in Southern Connecticut I was blessed with living close to Pepe's, Sally's, Modern and all the other fine pizza establishments spread along the CT shoreline. When I relocated to the Boston area I was a bit alarmed about the style of pizza available. I discovered Upper Crust and said to myself "I can live with this." But they definitely have their off days and the pies don't come cheap. North End Treats turns my thoughts of Mass pizza upside down. I'd call this place a hole in the wall, but it is better described as a hole that stands in the middle of a pool supply place and a torn down gas station. The pizza is excellent and very reasonably priced. Two huge slices of peperoni cost $4.90 and make for a great lunch. Their other offerings aren't bad, but I think the pizza is where they shine. If you like brick oven style pizza and work/live around this place, give it a try - you won't be let down.

Called to order pizza to p/u. We ordered the Margarita. I have gotten pizza here a couple of times and don't really feel like they are that friendly in general. Service always seems lackluster. picked up pizza and when we went to eat our slices they were limp and the sauce and cheese fell off when we picked up our slices. Not going to bother ordering pizzas here anymore. The "lobster tail" was pretty decent.

I like this place! Quality tasting ingredients, friendly staff, and horribly tempting desert! It took me a while to try this place out because it seemed strange to have a pizza/gelato combination...but I was wrong. It's an awesome idea! More of a take out place than dine in, but they have booths to sit at while You wait. I'd say this is the best pizza I've had in this area.

    (4)
  • Rowan L.

The pizza here is terrific. The brick oven provides the opportunity for a reasonably thin crust that's crunchy. The toppings are done in the style of gourmet pizzas. And then there are the Italian desserts.... Tiramisu is awesome, their lobsters (shu pastry with Bavarian cream) are a favorite of their customers and I can see why. I was driving to Franklin from Boston and wanted a better pizza for the evening in Franklin. While the pizzas would sit for 30 mins, it was well worth it. I'm going back there for sure!

I work at a large corporate office that often orders catering. We love North End Treats and it didn't take long before it was a go-to menu for us. The pizzas are all great, fresh tasting and always get delivered hot. Our favorite part of this place? The TREATS! The canolis, peanut butter bars, eclairs, lobster tails and (my favorite) the tiramisu cups are all excellent. It's not hard to convince me to stop and grab a little dessert. The staff is always really nice and they are attentive on the phone as well. This is important when you're ordering catering and 30+ people are expecting the food to be right. We have replaced Bertucci's with North End Treats for quick Italian food.

I use to live in framingham for about 7 years... sad to say I NEVER tired this place ... I just got a job right up the street... .the pizza at north end treats ... sooooo good ... and everyone there is really nice and helpfull ... I think monday - wed they have a 2 large cheese pizza deal with extra snacks... for $20 ... place is CRAZY GOOD ... it's right off the Pike .. so people should really be hitting this place up ... Grade A

Pizzas are so-so. I got a hankering for a bacon/garlic pizza after having one at Sal's a few months ago. Was not as good - garlic wasn't very evident and the bacon wasn't very bacony. Other pizzas I've gotten here have been OK, but just that, OK, nothing to write home about. The big hit for this place though is the dessert. Great North End style desserts without having to drive in to Boston. The lobster tails are huge and awesome. Definitely go for the pastries.

Oh my, good gracious! Holy Cannoli! I was heading to a friend's place for a housewarming party when dubbed with the whole, "I'm not sure what to bring..." since I'm sure most people would have gotten the alcohol covered and well I didn't have time to bake/make anything, I needed something quick and good! That's when I remembered, I had driven past here several times and had wanted to check it out for awhile. So I'm glad I had an excuse to come in now. And boy am I glad I did! Plenty of delicious treats to choose from, I had a hard time picking and choosing so... I selected a variety of pastries from their eclairs to lobster tails to cannoli and more! I couldn't resist the temptation of bringing a couple of boxes to my friend's place, I ended up getting myself a box of treats as well! So far, I can tell you my fave is their lobster tail - which actually comes in 2 sizes, I got the smaller ones, which was still a pretty decent size! The cannoli is probably a close second. My tiramisu is still waiting for me in the fridge, but if their lobster tail and cannoli is any indication of how good they are, I'm sure my tiramisu won't disappoint. The staff was also extremely helpful and attentive and were all on top of their game when they saw this crazy chic with sugar in her eyes came trotting in. Now I can have my treats from the North End without dealing with the parking in the North End! Hope to check out the rest of their food menu soon! Could it actually be possible, that I may be able to get some real Italian food in the MetroWest without having to trek back to NY?!?! I think I might!

  • Ben P.

Order the lobster tails. Their deserts are great. Their sandwiches not so much. But you don't go there for the food, just the desert. There is one problem and I have not had it recently. All their deserts are made at a central bakery and shipped to this location. Which means it might not be as good as going to the actual bakery. Also since they don't have a bakery on site, don't expect the good stuff to still be in stock when you walk in. This means my lobsters are sometimes sold out before I get there and if you want to get a fruit tart, its always sold out.

Disclaimer: I've discovered when judging pizza in "Metrowest" you need to grade on a curve. It's not a bad pizza, and I found myself wanting more after I ate. It has a nice crust, and it's not one of those spongy dough like a lot of places in the area. The sauce is halfway decent, but nothing extraordinary. Last but not least - greasy, wicked greasy. While this pizza may never make it to my "will kill for" list, it is likely I will return many times. I didn't try dessert there, but WOW --- only I would be able to walk by a glass case full of treats that look that damn delicious, and not buy anything.

4 stars, and im happy to be giving a positive review for a yelp for once! so i went in here a few weeks ago, and yes i have been hiding it from yelp because wifey would think i went here today. i guess she feels that if i post it that day, i went there...now about that time i reviewed montreal and was home for dinner that night.... so anyway, this is a welcome edition to metrowest. is it the same thing as perusing down hanover street? no, salem street even? no? route 9? yes, much better then route 9, so there you go. i went it looking around, i had heard, but not seen nor smelt, so now was my time. i was before lunch rush, so i can tell you about that, but i can tell you the parking situation is not the best, ive seen plenty worse, but not too bad. i had a piece of pizza and a sample of there cookies. couldnt pass those up. the pizza was true to form, Neapolitan style with tasty ingredients. no complaints. the oven they use is wood fire, so you get that taste with it. this is also welcome from the greek pan style that i do not like so much. the butter cookie were ok, not like mikes for sure. at that time they did not have rainbow cookies, so i can vouch for those (wifey now makes the best rainbows ive eaten) and their sandwich cookies were semi fresh. as i was saying, not the north end for sure, but way better then the schlock youd get at stop and shop. the prices were absolutely fair and the staff were friendly and attentive, but again, before lunch. still a steady pace inside....speaking of which, they only have two stand up tables, so take it to go or brave the elements with your drippy pizza. youve been warned. definitely worth a shot if you are yearning and in natick/framingham...might even be worth the venture if you are at the "collection" and want out quick.

The pizza is really good italian style. Everything else is just mediocre. They don't really have a kitchen so it really can't be that great. It really depends on when you go. If you go while the owners are there, the food will be really good. IF you go on a sunday when the stoned teenagers are working, the food suffers greatly. I once ordered a pizza, showed up, and they had no record of it. We had to sit there and wait from scratch. Worst part is, they could have made up for it by giving us a little discount or thrown us a free canolli or something. Instead, they charged us full price and didn't even throw in a soda, pastry, or anything like that for our troubles. Bush league.

My husband and I both ate here for lunch and since I'm gluten free I didn't have many options, but my husband is now a huge fan! I chose the steak tips and rice - the steak tips were overcooked and dry, not good at all. The rice pilaf, however, was really good and they give you a ton! It was moist and had great flavor. There was a guy and a gal in there when we went and the place was empty so they were very friendly and helpful about what we should try. They both explained the desserts to us and made us feel welcome. My husband got slices of pepperoni and cheese pizza and preferred the cheese. He said he will definitely go here anytime he wants a thin, floppy pizza...at $14 for a whole pie they are reasonable. He then tried a whole buffet of desserts and his feedback was: Cannoli - not good. The shell was too hard and didn't have much flavor and the filling was also lacking flavor. Mini lobster tail - really good! The outside pastry was a bit chewy but the inside cream was really good. Not sure what it's technically called, but the tiny pastry cone filled with cream cheese filling - SO good! This was his favorite...the turbinado sugar on top made it a delicious bite. Butterscotch bar - not good. It's incredibly dense and the bottom crust was so hard the fork almost didn't make it through. It tasted artificial. Strawberry shortcake - pretty good. It's basically just a little strawberry cake with frosting. Not bad, but probably won't order again.

My last experience at North End Treats (which will definitely be my last forever) was terrible. I have been a loyal customer here for a while. I always found the pizza a little pricy, but my family likes it so I always return. Last weekend though the girl ringing me up could not have been ruder. I could get into details, but to sum it up she was very condescending towards me. I tried to pay half credit half cash (since I called beforehand and they told me the wrong total amount for the pizzas). Asking for this was a mistake apparently. She was confused as to what to do and then took her anger out on me. I ordered $40 worth of pizzas; I deserve some form of..kindness, right? I didn't sign the credit card slip right away because I was trying to help the young girl whom I had with me with something. This made the girl at the register aggressive and bright red! She stated, "next time you need to tell me what to do". Sorry hun, there will definitely not be a next time. Didn't even get a "thank you" or "have a nice night" in the end. You're welcome for spending $40 on pizza, which I could have gotten for half the price somewhere in Framingham!! I own in a successful small business where we pride ourselves on customer service. The kind attitude your employee portrayed towards me is not the kind of attitude you exhibit to retain customers. Customer service is key to me. I am treated much better at plenty of other pizza places in the Framingham-Natick area AND the pizza is much more inexpensive. To the owner-- I hope you see this. I am sorry, but you have lost a repeat customer due to the way your staff treats customers. The way she treated me was rude and unacceptable. I will take my service elsewhere for now on. To a prospective customer reading this--Warning: You may encounter a rude young lady at the register. I actually think I have seen reviews about her in past reviews that I just skimmed through.

I'll tell you what, I wanted to stop in here for a long time, and then I went ahead and forgot to review it! OK, so let me take you there. You walk in and you're surrounded by a bazillion pastries. Big, small, and GIGANTIC. I of course, got the gigantic whoopie pie, and yes it's everything you want it to be. YUM. As for the food, I got a little pizza which was pretty delicious and my guest got a sandwich which he also enjoyed. Definitely stop on in here, good stuff! Well, as long as you don't plan on eating inside, because there are no seats. But maybe just maybe the weather will be nice and the bench outside will be open.

I have never had a bad experience here! Although I have only tried their pizzas and baked goods, what else do you really need though! Two slices of cheese (NY huge slices) and a fountain soda for only $5! I was in heaven. My boyfriend of course who can eat a whole pizza usually gets four slices because they're thin. But an amazing thin that tastes so good you never want it to end! Their cannoli's are pretty good (I used to work in a bakery so I'm pretty picky), if you go around dinner time or after though I'd ask them to fill them fresh because once I could kind of tell it was made in the morning. Their cupcakes are delicious, along with their lobster tails. Everyone is always wicked friendly and willing to answer any questions I had. Cannot recommend this place more! Oh and they have an awesome special Mon-Wed 2 large cheese pizzas, a big bottle of coke, and four mini cannoli's for $20! I work at a hotel nearby and I always recommend this place to our guests! I've never heard a complaint so far!

Absolutely amazing pizza! This is now in my top 10 places to get pizza. I got the BBQ Chicken pizza and it's unbelievable. Let me quickly describe it. Instead of pizza sauce they just use the BBQ sauce. The crust is crispy and a perfect thickness. Pieces of chicken are large and tasty. Also comes with Jack cheese, jalapeños, and onions. One of the best BBQ chicken pizzas I have ever eaten. I can't wait to try more food from this place. This was my first time visiting and it won't be my last!

I was born and raised on pizza in Brooklyn, NY. It used to be you could get a great slice anywhere. Although that may not be true anymore in Brooklyn, we can get a great pie in Framingham.. Who'd a thunk! Great pastries too. Wish they had a meatball or veal parm subs instead of panninis.

This review is solely about service. Let me say that our family has been extremely loyal customers to this restaurant, including getting regular take out there weekly since they opened, catering events and parties, eating lunch there, and telling everyone that we know to make this their regular pizza and pastry shop. Tonight the level of customer service that we've been dealt is unforgivable and could sadly have us searching for a new pizza place in the Natick area (suggestions are welcome) - please do not suggest Pizza Peddler, George's or Oversized Pizza, not a fan. We placed an order for 3 pizzas as my in-laws were driving through town and we needed a quick dinner before the continued their drive. My husband arrived to pick up the pizzas right when they were supposed to be ready, only to find that they hadn't put the order in at all. The young girl working the register said that they would take care of it immediately and that the pizzas would be ready in 20 minutes. FORTY FIVE MINUTES LATER, two pizzas were done and one HAD NOT EVEN BEEN STARTED YET. No apology at all, no offer of a discount, and my husband brought those two pizzas home to an antsy and hungry crowd. I called twice to speak to the manager to find the same disrespectful girl. I left a pretty specific message and made it clear that I wanted to hear back. She said I'd hear back "around 8:30 tonight"...and so far, nothing. I know they're busy, but I'm being treated as though we are an annoyance and not a priority. If you've had negative service here, please post it. This isn't the first time we've encountered rude people or that our order has been messed up, but this was such a blatant mess up and an opportunity to show strong customer service that I just couldn't let it pass. I'm sure you'll agree that locals make these places popular and deserve to be treated with respect.

Note: we had them cater our party, did not eat at the place or anything. Food came right on time, looked good, tasted delicious. We had pesto linguine, eggplant Parma, chicken and mushrooms, sausage and peppers, ravioli (sauce was not good), salad, Canolis and Eclaires! All arrived in convenient trays for serving, and piping hot! Have heard pizza is killer, will have to try it. In general, highly recommended.

Love it! For the metrowest it's a nice surprise. We get the goat cheese, prosciutto, fig and spinach pizza, minus the goat cheese, add caramelized onions. Delicious! We have never had any salads, sandwiches or desserts from them.

Went back here recently and both the panini I tried (shared with someone) weren't very good. We got a meatball and a bruschetta. Both were too greasy and lacked flavor, and I felt kind of gross afterwards. The bruschetta actually tasted bad and I didn't finish it. The people working there were nice, and I like to support local businesses, but the food wasn't great.

You can get better treats... for a lot more money with a lot longer drive! The lobster tails and cupcakes here will satisfy a craving and won't disappoint. And their pizza is second only to Gianni's in Nobscot unless you want to drive into the North End. Verdict: YUM!

This is probably one of the better pies to be had in Metro-West, definitely tops anything I've had in the Natick/Wellesley/Framingham area in the last 15 years or so; however, it is not in the all-time greats. As I've mentioned in some of my other reviews, I take pizza very seriously (spending seven years of your life in New Haven will do this to you) and hence have a high standard. We had the Quattro Formaggio--the cheeses were all present, but muddled into one giant melted mass. The crust was thin and not greasy (both good marks) and had a nice charring on the bottom, but alas, the crust was on the chewy side (reminded me of taffy a bit in some parts). I also felt the red sauce was not quite all there--decent, solid, but not one of the greats; I do believe this is because it was too sweet. Again, I am just pointing these matters out for the connoisseur: all in all it was a very respectable pie. The sign out front is a little deceptive. It says North End Treats (in flaming letters), and attached to it is a giant plastic ice cream cone--the gauche, soft-serve kind and with rainbow jimmies no less (everyone knows chocolate are the ONLY jimmies). However, this place is, in reality, a legitimate pizza shop (albeit married to some kind of sweet store). I think they'd do better going for one or the other with gusto, but maybe they are trying to cash-in on some kind of North End credibility. It is not the greatest ambiance--feels like a chain fast-food joint. I'd recommend the take-out if you live nearby.

W have tried North End treats a few times since it opened. The pizza is OK (a little overpriced for me) but tasty and it is hard to get decent pizza in Metrowest. That being said, we are not thrilled with the service. A while back we ordered a Pizza for my son who was allergic to tomatoes and specified NO SAUCE 3 or 4 times to the girl that answered the phone. When my husband picked up the pizza, low and behold it was drenched in tomato sauce. He had to pick up another pizza on the way home. Wish we could have sent N. End Treats the bill.

This place has the most delicious looking pastries I've ever seen! We ordered a BBQ chicken pizza last night and it was top notch. Jalapenos, onions, loads of spicy BBQ sauce and a relatively thin but chewy crust. The sauce had a kick, even for someone like me who likes it hot! It took all of my willpower not to order some pastries, gelato or frozen yoghurt for dessert. They had every flavor imaginable! Well priced and definitely worth a visit!

I give their pizza 2 thumbs up - the crust is chewy but not doughy and the dough is always nice and fresh. My kids always get the black olive pizza while I really like the pizza with the caramelized onions, pine nuts and feta cheese. My husband who doesn't eat dairy anymore and doesn't really love pizza was mentioned how much he misses eating North End Treats pizza! I had their pasta once and it was so-so but you really can't get too creative with pasta sauce and ziti. Their whoppie pies are good and so are the layer bars. The cannoli were so-so the one time I tried them. Know how you go to a party and bring home left over pastry to have that night or the next day? The pastry isn't flaky the next day, it's sort of mushy - that's how the cannoli tasted, could have been a fluke so I would be willing to give them another shot. There is very limited seating, a few tables and chairs - more of a take out place or somewhere to get a quick bite.

I really love this place! Great Pizza! Definitely up there with Gianni's in Nobscot. Everytime I order from here I place a minimum of 15 pizzas for our meetings at work every month, for the past 6 months. Every time the order has been correct and delicious. They deliver on time, never late. They have delicious pastries as well! The pastries are there staring you in the face when you walk in, tempting you to buy lol. The reason I knock off one star is because there is NO room in there for public seating. They have some tables and chairs but it's cramped and I hope they expand or move sometime soon. Love the discount for having a Framingham Co-Operative Card too. Knocks off a little off your bill showing them your card or mentioning it. :)

My friend said she went to this place earlier last week...she's not from MA and I'm embarrassed that she has spotted it even though I've probably passed it going to Natick mall all me life...which is a lot unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on how you look at it. Tried the frozen yogurt and my god! The small is like a HUGE and it tastes PHENOMENAL (and cheap!)! Yum yum yum. They unwrap this rock like thing and they put it in a machine that just crushes the frozen yogurt...so it was fresh out of the freezer and it was so darn tasty. Come here definitely if you want a stop for ice cream after a long day of shopping!

Stopped at 8pm for a quick bite to eat. Asked if they had pizza by the slice. The staff (looked like just young teens or 20's) was completely apathetic and would barely communicate. Received terrible, cold pizza that I ate two bites of and threw in the trash. Must have been sitting out for hours. Can't believe they would serve this.

I've been here many times. The pastries are great and are pretty much always very fresh (there have been a couple exceptions with the filled ones). The variety is really nice, there is something for every taste. The calzones are awesome and huge. Have not tried the pizza or gelato yet.

Fantastic pizza with great toppings. The best pizza in the Framingham area. Their desserts are yummy!

Chicken ziti was amazing! They have about 5 sit down tables now too. Perfect lunch!

By far, the best pizza in the area. I love the prosciutto/spinach/fig/goat cheese pizza, it's amazing. Their sandwiches are pretty good, too and I love that they use romaine (and now iceberg, ew!) in their salads (that you can add fresh mozzarella to).

Stopped in here yesterday, hoping to sit down and eat a slice of pizza or something else good for dinner. I was really surprised to see that the store has no seats. No. Seats. At. All. There's a couple of tables you can stand up at, and I wonder why in the world they didn't get a few stools to go with them. There were 3 employees, and I was the only customer in the store. I didn't get the warm-fuzzies from them, sadly. I skipped the dinner idea and tried a cannoli instead. They were pre-stuffed, which was really disappointing. The ones at Mike's in the real North End are pre-stuffed... but they can get away with that because they do such high volume, and the shell never gets soggy. This one wasn't terrible, but it wasn't as crispy as I'd expect. Great idea, great looking menu. Some room to improve on the customer comforts.

I work close by and really like this pizza. It's close to being fantastic, the only thing it's missing is a crust that stands up. Funny...the crust is kind of floppy. That said, it's easily the best in the area and highly recommended. Here's a funny thing. When they first opened, you could get two slices and a can of coke for $5. Then it jumped to something like $6.25. No biggy, 'cuz I thought the early price was low...I chalk it up to getting to know the business costs. I hope this place does well and is around a long time.

I usually go there for pizza but I decided last weekend to get some of the bakery treats. I got 4 of the little cakes for my mother's birthday (brought them to brunch the next day). They were so pretty and tasty too. Came to $20 which is cheaper than 1 cake at a higher end grocery store and these were easier to share. A little taste of the North End in Framingham. :)

NE Treats has decent pizza - crust, sauce, cheese are good overall (Famous Pizza in Saxonville is the best in Framingham) . The deserts are really good - probably not a better place around in the MetroWest area.

came here late on a Saturday night for some sweet noms after we went out to dinner. haven't tried the pizza yet, but from the reviews, maybe i should. it is true that the metrowest area is hurting for really good pizza. anyway, we got three pastries: one very good and two insanely amazingly out of this world. the very good: the cannoli. maybe because it had been sitting most of the day (after all, we got there 25 minutes before close), it was just good. the filling could have been smoother and richer. however, we also got a lobster tail and a peanut butter bar. both of these are the stuff dreams are made of. the lobster tail is not for the faint of heart - it tastes like it was made with about a pound of butter (and likely was). rich flaky pastry on the outside, and gobs of cream-like deliciousness on the inside. probably the best i've ever had - eat your heart out, Mike's Pastry. the other high point was the peanut butter bar...simply imagine the best peanut cup you've ever had, only 5 inches square. yeah. the two of us couldn't even finish it, that's how big it was. the man who helped us out was really great, explaining what was in each pastry and soliciting our opinions as to what we'd like. he was really nice, especially considering we came in so close to closing time. highly recommended for a bright spot in the other dismal culinary landscape of Framingham! edited to add: finally had the pizza. i would give it 3 stars. it pretty good, a little greasy. honestly, i've had better brick oven pizza. but it's probably the best in this area.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
