Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Had pizza delivered to our hotel room. Was fast and yummy and didn't cost an arm and a leg.

After waiting 20 minutes after calling in an order I showed up to pick it up and it was not done..., dough was frozen!!!! No call or anything, they waited for me to show. Save your energy and head a half mile up to Londis!

There are very few times when I use the phrasing "best..... In the world," but I am going to pull out the phrasing here. I came into this place with high expectations, and they were blown out of the water. BEST CHICKEN FINGER BROCCOLI ALFREDO PIZZA I have ever had. I am not kidding!!! We started off with jalapeno poppers. Talk about delicious, cream-cheesey, fried goodness. Then came the pizza. Definitely huge portion sizes for not a lot of money. The crust was flakey, heavenly, and doughy in the best way possible. I honestly have had pizza in many places- this pizza is better than any I have ever had, and I have had classic brick oven pizza in Little Italy. This is so much better. To make this all so much better, and so much worse for my waist line, there were these marvelously sinful, and decadent little creations called "Cinnamon balls." The owner himself made us these (hilariously) and charmingly named desserts that were basically little drops of Cinnabon heaven with gooey icing on the side. The entire meal was a fantastic experience, and I will definitely be coming again!! Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go for a run on my treadmill while eating the rest of my cinnamon balls. Yolo.

I can't say Bella Mia has the best or even excellent food. But it's good, consistent, and they're open later than nearly every other place in Danvers. They also have a few interesting menu items like their buffalo chicken quesadilla- not the norm for a pizza place. Girl answering the phones could use a lesson in customer service pleasantly, but oh well, it wouldn't detract me from ordering again.

We ordered takeout from here as it was the only place I could find that had lasagna on the menu (I was trying to satisfy my wife's lasagna craving). The lasagna was very good! We also ordered a garden salad (meh) and a moussaka calzone (REALLY good dough, but don't do what I did and ask for a moussaka calzone with no meat, because it's a bit empty). Takeout was ready a bit after the 15 minute wait promised on their website. Foodler's estimate was much closer to reality. There was an incident with my calzone in which it was handed to the delivery driver instead of me! They made good on this incident by making a new one and sending the driver to my house with a bonus order of DEEP FRIED MACARONI AND CHEESE BITES. If we go back for more lasagna I will probably bump the star rating if nothing wacky happens to my order.

I was contacted by Bella Mia and told they went through and ownership change and was asked to give them another chance. I was hesitant at first but decided, worst case scenario I would have another failed meal for my family. I am glad I gave them another chance. These guys have some of the best pizza in Danvers. The food has been consistently phenomenal and their service is one of the better ones in town. They haven't failed a delivery time since they contacted me. Recently another pizza place failed a large order with 2 hours notice and these guys were able to pull 10 pizzas together with their normal quality in about 45 minutes. I'm very happy they contacted me and hopefully quality and service will remain high.

I've gone here a couple more times and had a much better experience. Customer service has been top notch and I haven't had to sit and listen to employees blasting customers on the phone or anything like that. They have online ordering, which is a huge plus in my book because it's pretty often that I don't feel like picking up the phone to actually talk to real people. There's a lot of gems on the menu and the prices are solid. Bacon jalapeno cheese fries? yes please. The subs are decent, and.. as mentioned, the pizza is very dominoes-esque. It's not bad at all, but its something I have to be in the mood for. It's not very greasy, which for a lot of people is a huge plus. I personally prefer my pizza grease to soak straight through the box and explode on my counter. Overall a nifty pizza joint. It's seems they've made some changes for the better since my first visit. It's not my personal top spot for pizza but it's pretty good and I've eaten here a fair amount of times. I would recommend anybody in the area give it a shot.

Good pizza for a good price. I lived down the street from this place for about two years with my girlfriend (now wife). We both worked and ordered from here quite often. The pizza is good and the service is friendly. They knew us by name and would always ask how the other was doing when we came in to pick up food as an individual.

I was starving the other night and didn't want to venture out in the freezing cold rain so I called to order delivery. We ordered 2 chicken finger subs and were told 40 minutes which seemed reasonable. They were delivered in 15.. WOW speedy! The subs were VERY small. The large had possibly 3 chicken fingers in it.. they slice them into small chunks so you wont notice.. and the small might have had 1 1/2 chicken fingers in it. Not worth the $15 it cost! I have gotten food from them in the past and it was all good... that's the only reason for the 3 instead of a 2 star.

Bella Mia used to be my go to pizza place but they have dropped off on just about everything. The service is not the great and the food is just so-so. The most recent deliveries have taken an extremely long time too, I cannot say if it is due to being busier or if is their fault, but either way, expect a wait.

I figured I'd try Bella's since I want to find who has the best pizza in Danvers. This place is soooo not the place! We ordered a family size pizza (not really a family sized, looked more like a large), chicken fingers and wings(chicken fingers was a generic fake meat and gross, wings just fatty and nasty). Now to the pizza, I'm not sure why the past reviews said it was sweet, I found it super super salty sauce. I think I drank a gallon of water to eat it. Went there to pick it up and the girl at the counter kept asking what order. Even though I gave her the order number bunch of times. Then she just disappeared, so we had to wait. Also ordered online and clicked on square slices since it was an option and we got huge slices instead that I had to recut to smaller when I got home. I'm not sure if it was a Saturday night and it was busy but I've never had such slow service at a pizza place. Even my kids who love pizza didn't ask for more then the one slice that they didn't even finish. I feel I just wasted 30.00 , I'd rather drive all the way to Lynn to fauci's then eat this crap.

Bella-Mia, you lost a customer. I am never giving you my business again. What happened to your original staff? Every time I call, I get some person who asks me for my entire information. I give him my phone number so he can look up my delivery information, he doesn't know how. I tried to pay by credit card which I've done over 50+ times before, they driver shows up and is expecting cash. You have an idiot answering the phone! The driver wasn't at fault so I paid and tipped. I go to eat my typical calzone. Lukewarm and no extra blue cheese that I always pay for. You know who I am, you know where I work, you know I've recommended you to everyone in my building and yet my business is obviously not appreciated. I have taken down all the menus I hung up, and threw them in the trash. I've informed people who asked me about pizza places to go to Papa Ginos instead. Why? Poor customer service. Example: Sassy asian girl. This girl has a stick so far up her ass it shows when she talks. She delivered my food one night (probably because the driver was busy on another run) and she pretty much said "I'm in a rush so if you could just pay me...." EXCUSE ME? I gave her a $10, no tip nothing. I go to bite into the food, the FUCKING CALZONE IS COLD! So I get cold food, bitchy delivery person, and wasted $10. (Microwaving food does not have the same taste) Good riddance Bella-Mia. It's sad when I'd recommend McDonalds' or Burger King over you.

Interesting that the reviews compare this place to Classic Domino's taste. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger pizza and that taste took me back. A large pizza easily fed 3 people, so the value is there too. Reccomend!

I'm the type of person who has a different place for different cravings. Bella Mia pizza is one of my favorite junk food-ish places. The service is quick and courteous to a fault. By the second or third time ordering from here they already remembered my name! One of the best things on the menu are the mozzarella sticks. They come with with a lovely light mariana sauce that has amazing basil like pop to it. The second is the BBQ chicken pizza which they use deep fried chicken tenders... so amazing! BIG two thumbs up for this place!

  • H J.

I got pizza here based on the 2 previous reviews, and I was so disappointed! My fiancee and my brother had a cheese pizza, which they said tasted like Domino's. If you like Domino's, I guess that's good, and you should try it! Both of them commented that there was too much cheese, which is funny because... I am vegan, so I asked for a pizza with no cheese, but with broccoli and mushrooms. When I opened the box, there were probably 10...maybe 12 pieces of mushroom and broccoli. It was the saddest little pizza I ever saw. Not only were there only a handful of toppings, but they were all shriveled, too! I guess I expect that if I don't get cheese, all the veggies will make up for it, and they'll toss more on to make it look and taste nice. Nope! Anyway, the cheese pizza did look cheesy, and I'm sure that is a matter of preference. So if you like lot of cheese, try it out!

The pizza is usually quite good, though they do have occasional quality control problems where it isn't quite as good as it should be. I once ordered a pasta dish and it was dreadfully overcooked. After that, all I get is pizza. They are open late and have lots of pizza deals/coupons.

This pizza just isn't good. The pizza sauce is simply too, too, too sweet. Ick! And the pizza itself simply looks sad when peering up at you from the box. Disappointing...

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
