This is a really cute place with a lot of healthy options. I went for lunch and ordered the veggie burger. It was fantastic, but could have been half the size as I couldn't finish it. The veggie burger was their own creation and had a sun-dried tomato pesto on it. I've had many veggie burgers over the years, and this was the most unusual (in a good way!). They also had a fantastic selection of iced teas which I would have loved to have sampled. Unfortunately, I don't live in the area, otherwise this would be a regular spot!

Open a call-ahead line! Please? I've called ahead before and have gone up to the cooking counter to pick up my food. I've done that about 6 times and essentially I "cut the line" to pay. Yesterday I called in and went to the cooking counter and they told me to go stand in line....that was out the door. I said, "Wait. Are you serious?" She told me again to stand in line. So I waited in line 15 minutes, looking at my to go bag just sitting at the counter. I got to the counter and asked when they chose not to allow pick up at the cooking counter. She said, "Well, you have to pay at the register. I've worked here for 2 years and we've never done that." She wasn't rude at all, pretty polite actually. I asked, "What is the point of calling for take out when you have to wait in line?" She shrugged her shoulders and told me to have a better day.

I'm a big fan! We are here often, probably two or three times a week for coffee. We enjoy breakfast very much, often getting sausage egg and cheese on wheat toast... Delicious. My daughter LOVES the PB&J... It's her first choice for eating out! Lunches, too, are terrific. I love the Avacado club, really delicious focaccia bread. The coffee is terrific! The best thing though, are the people. Never have a met a more responsive owner. Questions, concerns... She is the always ready to "take care of business". The staff is pleasant and engaging. We will continue to go there, happily.

Really enjoyed our late breakfast. I ordered their Cafe Breakfast: 2 eggs, potatoes, ham, toast. Coffee and Toast couldn't finish it all. The wheat toast was very good bread. Noticed they had a lovely selection of muffins and cookies, coffees and cold drinks. My husband had an omelette his way and a yummy corn muffin! The servers and other staff were very friendly. Pleasant way to start your day in Beautiful Danvers, MA.

Daily Harvest Cafe has been my absolute favorite place in Danvers. Unlike, Dunkin Donuts and Mcdonalds that are close in proximity to this place- Daily Harvest has an abundance of healthy options that are also delicious. I have stopped in there for not only their delicious Turkey Cobb Wrap, but I have also have been hooked on their smoothies and other frozen treats. The atmosphere is relaxing and it gives a great vibe to customers that choose to stay and enjoy their meal. Although it is one of my favorite places to eat, not everything can be perfect. The hours aren't ideal because there are times where I have gone, craving a wrap, and ended up realizing that it was closed. Along with that, it does tend to get VERY busy which makes parking a struggle because their parking lot is not very big. But, there are many ways to avoid the traffic jam by just parking at Walgreens and walking to Daily Harvest. Other than that Daily Harvest Cafe is a great place for breakfast or lunch and I highly recommend it!

This place is great! I'm in town for a couple of days and found this gem amongst many chain restaurants in the surrounding area. Nice little local place with a good vibe- it seems like a place that would have a strong local following. The menu is a good size and has plenty of sandwich/salad/soup options. I got the portobello burger and it was phenomenal! The bread was clearly homemade and the ingredients were fresh. I also had a smoothie and that was delicious as well. The staff was very friendly as well- I unknowingly snuck in just before they closed (at 7pm FYI) and they were on point and didn't rush me or make me feel like a burden for coming in so close to closing. I would certainly recommend dropping in for a quick bite or a beverage if you're nearby!

The service is terrible here. I gave it another chance because I thought maybe they were having a bad day but NOPE the terrible service remains. I saw the staffs attitudes change when someone they knew came in but anyone else they were short tempered and rude. The wrap was good but not worth the drama.

I got a double espresso. It was so good i got a second one. My girlfriend got a caramel latte and loved it. They also have beer. Sam Adams seasonal on tap plus two other options. Worth going back.

Delicious! Loved the caramel latte, corned beef hash and a huge omelette. And these people know their crepes with nutella. Great cafe with homemade items and good service. Only in town for the day, but glad i found it.

Great little local place, broad enough menu and the sell a good line of organic juices. I had the Veggie sunrise wrap and it was absolutely delicious. Only reason for 4 stars is there was a little wait to get the food and the seating area was a little disheveled and needed some cleaning. Friendly staff though and great fresh food!

I went here several years ago when the girl of my dreams worked there, oh how I loved her...anyways back on earth, it was delicious. Actually I got a plain old grilled cheese. It's not as good as my moms grilled cheeses (I'll be coming home for grilled cheese until I'm 50 and I'm not ashamed) but it was great. Not that disgusting greasy soppy bread, just the right amount of cheese, served with a delicious pickle. Crispy exterior, soft and stringy and gooey interior made this one of the best I've had. Not better then mommy's, but it was delicious. I haven't been there since my love left, but I will be back this summer to grab a grilled cheese and go and sit down on Popes Landing (where they take the boats in and out right down the street) and relax with a nice, warm, gooey, grilled cheese.

If you're looking to spend $5 so your kid can eat 1 cup of grape jelly and 1 tsp of peanut butter globbed onto a piece of stale bread with a side of carrots so dry that they ask,"Momma, what's this white vegetable?"... then this place is for you. If you want to spend $9 for a chicken fajita wrap that tastes like a wad of nothing--NO FLAVOR WHATSOEVER-- leaving you to wonder if you imagined the ingredients that sounded so delicious on the menu but never came to be, and could have stayed home and eaten boiled chicken for the same experience... then this is the place for you. If you want to be given the option of an apple or a pear on the side just so that when you say pear they tell you they have no pears... then this is the place for you. If you desire a gyro wrap where the tomato wrap is so stale that it crumbles as soon as you pick it up depositing gyro chicken onto your pants... then this is the place for you. If this is the experience you want for $30 -2 sandwiches plus the *stellar* kids meal listed above... then this is the place for you. If not, keep driving. We'd been here one other time for breakfast sandwiches that were slightly disappointing (also stale bread, overcooked egg) but we thought, all these Yelpers can't be wrong... we'll give them another shot. Never again.

I'm here from Florida for a few weeks and my friends took me to the Cafe for lunch on Monday. The young lady that took my order apparently had hearing problems the same as I. I had to continually ask her to repeat herself and when we got our order it was all screwed up and a few items were missing. The food was good but not worth the hassle.

Before I go into specifics, it should be known that I've had an ongoing battle with this place since I moved nearby, which, if anything else, means I should probably cook breakfast for myself more often. If they execute your order to perfection, you may be really happy and find the food fresh, quality, and delicious. However, due to the choice to employ no one over the age of 21 (maybe an occasional exception), the chance of them getting your order correct and executing it is extremely unlikely. Of the countless times I've been there they've only done my order properly a few times. I get the same thing almost every time and it's not complicated. Breakfast sandwich on a well toasted bagel with well done homefries. The staff, however, seems to screw this up almost every time. Why do I keep going back? Because I love homefries and on the rare occasion they're not a soggy undercooked pile of potato, they're amazing. But it's just ridiculous that they can't toast a bagel to well done and crisp some homefries. While my conversations with the owner have been generally productive, there is a serious problem with the staff's ability to answer the phone. I do a lot of my orders to go and there has been countless instances where the phone was not hung up, and all you get is a busy signal, for 30+ minutes. I've told the owner this many times and it continued. This is something that can easily be fixed with proper instruction. At some point you have to question the owner's hiring choices and the ability to get the employees to perform simple and standard tasks. I wish I could say these easily fixable issues were resolved but that is just not the case. I hadn't been there in a while and decided to try it again and the same issues came up. I don't think I'll go back there again.

My family and I had breakfast there this morning. Great selection, easy to eat healthy or be a little sinful. Everything was fresh and tasted good! Staff was nice and patient with my little ones! I loved the little neighborhood cafe feel and plan to be back the next time we are in town

This place has gone seriously downhill IMO. At first it was the service, but now that has trickled into the food as well. The counter is manned by mostly high-school aged girls who are hit-or-miss -- some are great and friendly, others are disinterested in being at work like you are putting them out by ordering (oh, my apologies. I was under the impression you were getting paid to be here...). The prices are outrageous -- $15 for lunch if you're lucky. The last three times I've come here, my order has been wrong or bad. The soup was cold. I asked for a cup, not a bowl. Asked for no onions on my veggie burger. It's not really that complicated... My friends eat here often, and have found a handful of times when the restaurant is closed up at 6:45 even though they are "open until 7pm". I'll come here if invited, but I'm not going to subject myself to it voluntarily.

I don't know why I keep going back. It must be the Breakfast Wrap because it isn't for the service. With the exception of two girls the staff is so rude- it's almost as if they are pissed we are taking up their time by giving them business. I went yesterday with my parents and daughter, and there were multiple instances where we were frustrated by the attitude we were given when they messed up our orders (4 different items were either missing or wrong) and forgot a drink. There were no apologies and no attempts to win back the customers, only more attitudes. I remember, at one point, the service was so wonderful and the food was always right, I don't know what they have changed, but it's not working. They need to change it back.

Service is beyond terrible, this place has really gone done hill lately. I used to LOVE coming here, the food quality was great, employees were helpful and cheerful. I found a hair in my breakfast wrap and was told verbatim that it was no big deal and happens all the time. I'm sorry, but I don't enjoy finding hair in my food and to me it is a big deal. I requested a refund be put back on my card. It took me calling no exaggeration 5 times over the course of two weeks to get my money back. Not a very nice way to treat a customer after finding hair in their food! After the hair incident, I steered clear for a while as I was too skeeved out to return. I've gone back a few times here and there and each time is progressively worse. The portions of food have decreased. Muffins I'm finding are old, yet they still charge full price and say they're baked fresh daily - they're definitely not. I called my order ahead this morning to avoid waiting in line and waiting forever for our food. The line was pretty deep, so I proceeded to the counter to pay. I asked a staff member for assistance, the girl was new and said she'd ask someone to help me. The girl came back and said you have to go to the end of the line and wait. Uhm, okay but since when is this your policy? You've always had to go orders come right up and pay. I asked her again to just ring me up she said hold on. I was standing there waiting over 5 minutes before I could get someone else to help me. The girl overcharged me and when I questioned the amount she got extremely upset with me. I asked for a receipt and saw she over charged me. I then opened my bag to find she never gave me all my items. I then had to get back in line and wait to get money back. I was never told sorry, the girl just huffed and puffed while she refunded me the money. When all was said and done, my food was cold. So glad I called ahead only to have to wait and be treated worse here than at the DMV. I will now learn my lesson and steer clear of this place.

After a hiatus, I went back in and had a pleasurable experience, so I'll give them 3 stars instead of 1. Maybe the manager hired a new round of people. They redeemed themselves based on my most recent experience. The food came out faster than it ever has in the last 6 months. I just hope they don't disappoint me again!

Duke of Earl sandwich... Avocado, roasted red peppers, cheese, sourdough bread... The yumminess goes on. I can't recommend this enough! Smoothies are pretty good. Chocolate croissant actually has some type of peanut butter in it so it's more like Nutella. Croissants are fresh and flakey. They also have gluten free items, breakfast, frozen yogurt and beers but I have only tried their sandwiches. The grilled cheese is also the best I have ever had. Soups have just been ok.

Boo! I really wanted to like this place! I've driven by it so many times and wanted to try it. Finally did today. Decided on a wrap. It came as the wrong wrap type and without the cheese. Ok...but it's a chicken wrap that's supposed to have some veggies on it. It was definitely skimpy! 2-3 prices of tiny chicken and it was basically a salad wrap. It wasn't really clear where the ordering area was and where people are just waiting. I "waited" in 3 "lines" until I apparently got it right. They definitely seem to cater to regulars, without really taking 2 seconds to explain that they will bring your food. So, I stood there with a small child waiting and had wanted to sit outside. While I was waiting, we lost all 3 open tables to one person each who got brought their sandwich outside. Fail! So, whatever, we ate inside. I didn't see any hi chairs and certainly nobody offered me one. Some things sanitation wise that I saw right off the bat made me wonder what goes on in this place. A food prep girl had one of those bull rings through her nose and the toilet paper roller was empty with just a basket of rolls to use and grab at in the bathroom, like they refuse to buy refills or someone lost the key. Both are red flags, boo...I won't be back.

Ok I come here literally every weekday so I guess they've earned my 5 star - otherwise, what the hell am I doing there? Note to owners: please get some simple syrup involved. You're iced coffee is far too delicious to be ruined by all the sugar falling to the bottom. I have to like...suck from the bottom with the straw and regulate how much sugar i suck in with each sip...you're not Dunkin Donuts, your coffee is legit - get some simple syrup involved so the sweetness blends in.

Good food, but the staff in the past year, are rude and easily aggravated by an order being corrected, or if we are even in one hour of closing. Dont think im coming back. Too bad, as love the food. My friend and i are frequent visitors. Was here today June 7th 2015.

limited parking, slow service. overpriced. diners tend to linger so seating is limited. tables can't get cleaned fast enough before the next diner takes over. waited in line to order egg sandwich which was just ordinary, no hashbrowns with that. i can get the same thing at mcdonald's. tried it again, waited in line 15 min, didn't even move an inch. i left. i won't be back.

If you're like me and actually like to taste your coffee, then this is absolutely the place to go for your daily fix! No matter the temps outside, I love iced coffee and the Toddy is by far one of the best I've had. The flavor is bold but not bitter and suuuuuper smooth, this is due to their cold-brew process and the TLC in brewing this glorious caffeinated nectar of the gods certainly shows. I also highly, highly recommend the All American breakfast wrap and the Orange Blossom smoothie. Yum Yum gimme some!!!

A fantastic restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Very vegetarian/health conscious friendly. I had the veggie burger. It was fantastic. Though I'm not sure I'd call it a burger because it came on two slices of their home made bread and wasn't actually a burger. But it was fantastic whatever you want to call it. The breakfast I wasn't as big a fan of. The service was much slower in the morning and I'm pretty sure they mixed up a bunch of orders. Eating outside on a summer morning was a good choice though. The coffee drinks are wonderful. I had the Reese's latte. Peanut butter and chocolate latte? That's a dessert. It was too good. The parking is terrible. Its a tiny little lot and definitely not adequate for the amount of service they get. Unfortunately there are downsides. I suggest getting your order to go. The line takes up too much space in the restaurant. There's not enough seating. They are in dire need of expanding. Its like they've done their job so well that its become a problem, which isn't really a problem I guess.

The food quantity and quality here has deteriorated. My favorite item used to be a breakfast wrap with home fries in it. Now it's thin, all carbs and still the same price. I'd rather you raise prices and keep the integrity of the product. Where's the protein? They have good lattes and pastries. I also like that they post today's soups on Facebook. I still eat here often, but not nearly as often as I used to when quality was superior.

Food is awesome. Service is pretty slow. I'm not sure why they have to walk into a separate area every time someone orders an ice coffee. The staff is young and doesn't seem to care much about service. The place is adorable and very comfortable to spend time in. Not a place you want to visit if you're in a hurry.

I love this place. It's not very close to home but Its worth the drive. I have cravings for the chicken fajita wrap on a regular basis, and the smoothies, iced chai and baked goods are delicious. It's not rare for there to be a line out the door and at busy times it can be hard to find a seat but it's an adorable place. In the summer there is outdoor seating in a small courtyard out the side door which is a perfect spot for a relaxing little lunch. I am always taking people here for lunch and everyone I've introduced it to has loved it . I'm hungry just thinking about I and wish I could go right now !

I'm a bacon girl. Ask any of my friends. But I go absolutely gaga over Daily Harvest's sausage, egg, & cheese breakfast sandwich. I started off with the bacon egg and cheese, but even when you order the bacon extra crispy (just the way I like it), it's still going to get soggy when smooshed inside a sandwich. I usually have to order my egg "well done" as I've had many experiences where I have been stuck with a sandwich where the yolk is runny and that is a no-no in my book. It depends on who's working the grill, but I like to play it on the safe side and add that note to my order. Not sure if it's because I usually show up closer to lunch than breakfast, but they seem to run out of plain bagels pretty quick. I call it a lucky day if they still have some available. But if not, the onion bagels are pretty tasty. Sometimes the food is ready in a jiff and other times, if it's a busy morning, it'll take a little longer. But that's not a problem with all the TV's they have set up around the place airing whatever is on Food Network. As a foodie (with no cable), I enjoy getting a chance to catch up on some of the food shows that I miss at home. Coffee is a hit or miss. Some of the girls are really good at making it just the way I like, but other times, the ratio can be a bit off. I prefer their flavored iced coffee, but sometimes I've gotten a cup where it tastes like the coffee has been sitting there a while and it tastes off. I've given up and just settled on their regular blend. If it wasn't for convenience sake, I'd probably get my coffee from the Dunkin Donuts next door. Service is always great and the food is always fresh. And those are the reasons I choose to go there for breakfast almost once every weekend. One of these days, I'll get to trying some of their non-breakfast fare...

Avocado club was really good. Nice little cafe to sit down for lunch or to go to for getting work done. Almost reminds me of a panera. Bottom line, I like this place and I'd recommended it for lunch or breakfast.

I have been coming here for about a year now (off-and-on). The baked goods, breakfast wraps (highly recommend: Ham & Cheese Please), and the deliciously strong coffee are some of the best I've ever tried! Bonus that they use all fresh ingredients. Must come here more often.

What a shame. To think that only three years and one month ago, I gave this place a 5 star review. I've come here roughly twice a month since my 5 star review, and slowly I've watch this place fall apart. It all started when the owners decided to open a Cherry St. location which I'm not even sure still exists. Back then, the place was family operated and ALL of the employees were a complete delight. I knew names, they knew mine, and we enjoyed seeing them along with the food. While the menu is still the same, and the food is roughly the same, the staff, however, is AWFUL. They went from clean, respectful, and nice, to moronic, trashy, and rude. It's sad, too, because there is one girl who has been there this whole time and she's still great... she just doesn't seem happy anymore, and I can't blame her. Neither am I when I go there. Three out of three of the last times I've gotten food there, it's been wrong. One time, as I arrived for my takeout order, they had it on a plate and were calling out my name throughout the eatery wondering why I wasn't already sitting ready to eat my food. Another time, my order was just plain wrong across the board (extra food I didn't order, missing items). The most recent time, I watched as a new hire charged me for a side of bacon, a full $2 more than the $1 "extra bacon" I wanted added to my breakfast sandwich. Mistakes are made, but I watched her demeanor as she sort of shrugged and charged me for it anyway. When I had brought it up, she explained she knew "there was a button somewhere for that". So she knew, she just didn't care to be bothered to look or ask, so she charged me anyway. But guess what? The bacon arrived on the side still, not on my sandwich, and as a side to my wife's sandwich instead. She was new. I get that. But this wasn't a rookie mistake, this was pure carelessness toward the customer. I asked for a manager, and while someone came out to speak to me and rectify, it wasn't a manager. It's very rare I complain, and I've been coming here for a long time, so it took a lot for me to be aggravated enough to speak up. But I think it's a culmination of many other times being let down and watching this great business decline into a place that I dread visiting. I'm sure there are many others in the same boat as me, only coming here because it "used to be great" and the fact that the only other breakfast options around are the 5 Dunkin Donuts everywhere in Danvers, or one of the other Fast Food joints. Simply put, if you want healthier fare, you eat at Daily Harvest. I post this review not because I want to hurt the business here, but so whoever the new owners or managers are smarten the hell up, get their employees into shape, train them properly, and restore their business to where it used to be. Then they'll get my money again.

  • Tanya S.

I went to the Daily Harvest for the first time this past weekend. When I arrived there was one person in line ahead of me. That didn't stop the cranky staff from taking a half hour to make my wrap! The price was over $11 for an iced tea and a wrap with no protein except a sprinkling if goat cheese. What was in the wrap was fresh, but the wrap itself was tiny. I ended up getting something else in my way home to feel even remotely satiated. Save your money and avoid this place.

The food is not bad here, but the service is terrible. I live down the street from Daily Harvest and have eaten there frequently since it has opened. However, over the last year the service and just general politeness of the staff has definitely declined. They started getting orders wrong, and at first the management was responsive and helpful. Then today they again got my order wrong, and when I spoke politely to a manager, she was rude to me and pretty much told me it was my fault. I am not one to send food back or complain, but when you get a tiny salad with no dressing, it makes you wonder. I see the review by Luke S. written a few days ago, and I echo his thoughts. The employees here just get stuff wrong and don't seem to know what's going on. I wish I could tell the owner, so he/she could fix this problem and make this place as great as it could be. If you want good coffee and fast, friendly service, head down the street towards the center of Danvers to Kaffmandu. They are great and so is the coffee!

This place is so amazing I almost want to dissuade people from going so I never have to wait for a table! The food is delicious and they use only the best ingredients. My favorites include the bagel breakfast sandwich, the Thai wrap, and the curry chicken salad. The coffee is top notch too! The service is lightning fast, especially when you consider how busy it can get on weekends. You'll often see Brittany, the owner, filling in where she's needed to make sure service is as good as possible. The employees are also incredibly friendly, even when it gets hectic. They treat their regulars like family and you'll often see employees coming in when they aren't working for a bite to eat and some coffee.

I love a good bagel sandwich and Daily Harvest Cafe didn't disappoint. We stopped in here (thanks to the Yelp app) on our way home after a wedding on the North Shore. It was a Monday morning and the place was pretty busy but a man relinquished his table for our party of 4 (it's seat yourself.) We would have sat outside at the open table but it was particularly chilly. So we ordered our food at the counter -- 3 bagel sandwiches and one meatloaf sandwich (love that the lunch options are available all day long), a large coffee, large green tea and a smoothie. Not sure how the prices were as our friends treated us -- but the sandwich seemed reasonable. I had my bagel sandwich on a multi-grain bagel with applewood smoked bacon. It was great and I loved that they had Frank's at the table so I could douse mine with hot sauce. The coffee was delicious (snickerdoodle) even though I requested skim milk and my coffee was much to light and creamy to be made with skim. Not complaining, sometimes you gotta treat yourself -- if by treat I mean cream rather than skim in my coffee. We left full and ready to make the trek home, thanks yelpers for helping me find this one!

3 1/2. The place has something that Danvers/Peabody BADLY needs. However, it's cramped and gets super busy and mistakes are made. I've had a couple great dishes here, and some misses. Got a breakfast wrap once that was like 80% white rice -take out, btw. Otherwise, your other options are . . . . dunkin donuts and some greasy spoons.

Super friendly service, great sandwich choices, coffee is great (not like the typical crappy coffee served in a local diner), healthy menu options, etc...just a one-of-a-kind eatery. I don't live in the North Shore anymore, but still drive 30 minutes to grab something to eat there. Also, the frozen yogurt kicks! Although they don't have waitstaff for the tables, they will bring your order to your table after you order at the counter. Outdoor seating is available for the summer. Indoor seating is cozy in the winter, with a in-the-wall gas fire place to keep you warm on a cold New England day.

By far one of my favorite places to get breakfast and coffee. I love that they offer veggie sausage, I always get it in my usual American classic breakfast wrap instead of bacon. The staff is all very nice too!

update- love their coffee but it can be hit or miss depending on the ratio of cream to sugar they use. Still better than DD. The staff is always very friendly. I had a Thai peanut wrap which was good. The buffalo chicken soup is amazing!!

Quick, friendly, fresh, and tasty. Not since the early days of Kushco have I found a good sandwich joint in the area. Recently heard about this place from a food blog (I've become that guy) and decided to give it a go. First tip, there is a big menu board, but smaller ones are at the counter. However, the line queue can make it hard to realize that, so you stare in amazment at the board until it is your turn, still not knowing what you want, then are presented with a menu. There has to be an easier way. It is a small space with all the tables. But that's where the negatives end. Everything there from the smoothies, wraps, baked goods, and breakfast items are excellent. Everyone is friendly and helpful, the food comes out super fast. It is never a long wait. I've read some of the negative reviews and some are just stupid and petty. Concentrate on work? This is a restaurant, not Starbucks and certainly not a library. This place being busy and bustling is a good thing, it means they're making money and quickly turning out quality food. Get yours to go and work at home, this isn't your office. If you want quick, easy, tasty, and filling, give this place a go. Cheers, Uncle Juggsy

I have been frequenting the Harvest for about 2 years now since I moved to Peabody... Same order 1 med ice coffee cream 2 sugars and 1 American Classic extra bacon. The food has and continues to be consistent never once making an error. The staff is friendly, some knowing my name and order.... I will say there are times when the line is long but I wait patiently knowing I'm supporting a small local business... Highly recommend this establishment....

This place could be 5 stars easily...I want to give it 5 stars. I want to love it and go there all the time. But there are some major setbacks. First, their food is really delicious, especially their hummus wrap. Best I've ever had! BUT...here are the problems: 1. It takes FOREVER for your order to be prepared, even when the place isn't that busy. Seriously, I can't wait 20 minutes for a sandwich to be made. There is no reason it should take so long. Their kitchen is too small for the volume of customers so they really need to reconfigure the place. The wait time has prevented me from going there for lunch MANY times. If I knew they could slap together a sandwich in less time, I'd go there way more and take others there with me. 2. They ALWAYS forget part of my order. A sandwich is supposed to come with an apple/carrots and a pickle. A few times I've looked in my to-go bag and there was only the sandwich. They pretty much always forget the pickle which bums me out hardcore because I am an ardent lover of pickles. The last time I went back to the counter to remind them that I'm supposed to have a pickle, the cook gave me a super dirty look, said nothing, and basically threw the pickle at me. 3. Which leads me to my next point. A lot of the women who work there (and it seems to be all women in the kitchen and at the counter) have bad attitudes and are very unprofessional. While waiting for my order once I got to listen to one girl in the kitchen talking crap about all of the other people who work there to one of her friends who stopped by. So unprofessional, it made me want to get my money back and go somewhere else. So here's a tip for the owner: train your staff better. When you're not there, they aren't behaving. 4. The cost. Unless those veggies are organic and everything is very carefully sourced, it shouldn't cost so much to get a sandwich. ESPECIALLY when they forget my pickle and carrots. If you're going to charge so much, at least throw in a bag of chips. 5. Parking is terrible. Lot is small. Basically, they need to move to a different, bigger location. Again, I want to love this place. Their food is tasty and it's worth a visit. But there are plenty of other small businesses around with fairer prices and MUCH better customer service.

I use to come here often for a muffin and coffee, bit it was so hit or miss (sometimes the muffins were hot out of the oven other days they were days old and inedible) so I took a brake. Went in this morning for breakfast and tea. I certainly don't mind paying a little extra for organic free range eggs but $12 for a small tea and scrambled egg seems excessive. If the staff had at least been friendly it wouldn't seem so bad. When my breakfast was dropped off the woman didn't even look at me. They had forgotten the cheese on my eggs and when I went up to the counter she ignored me for minutes. I stood there with my food in my hand feeling like an idiot. When she finally decided to acknowledge me she didn't even say sorry or let me fix that or anything at all she just rolled her eyes. When she dropped it off again she literally dumped it in front of me and stormed off. The veggie sausage which I paid extra for was ice cold, but clearly I couldn't send it back. There are enough other places in Danvers to get scrambled eggs for half the price and without the attitude, why would I ever go back?

Okay the food was fine but was a it annoyed at the portions you get. I ordered the Harvest Breakfast item on an English muffin and a friend ordered the Ham & Cheese plate for JUST $0.80 MORE. Well I had almost a 1/3 food portion than my friend for $0.80 difference. I felt like I got ripped. Coffee was served cold too. Also there wasn't a functional bathroom available. But have to say the atmosphere is a nice one and the food was good. Just a tip, if you want more bang for you buck, do not get the Harvest Breakfast sandwich. :-)

The owner has really been working to turn things around with the mix ups in orders. The food has always been great, just was often not right, but as of the last month, things have gotten much better!

My family and I have probably driven by this place 1000 times, one Sunday night we were looking for a place to sit and have a nice cup of coffee. We happened to drive by and noticed it....so we went in. Best thing we ever did. We walked in and it just felt comforting...my wife ordered a cappuccino, I got a latte and the little ones wanted a hot chocolate. We were not expecting what showed up...what can only be described as a bowl of coffees and hot chocolates...they were huge! But don't let the size fool you, it was the best coffee I've had in years. I've been back several tines to try other drinks, including the eggnog latte...all I can say is "Bravo!" That's my go to spot if I need a great cup of coffee. I hope to try some of the food soon, every time I go in and see someone eating a salad or sandwich, which look amazing. Of course every time I've gone in I've already eaten and just want a good cup of coffee. And as I said, I love the decor, the seating, the tables....although not very big I always manage to find a seat at a table. I promise you won't be disappointed if you stop in.

Well clearly this place is a favorite for many. I was visiting Danvers from out of town and decided to come here for breakfast. Upon entry my olfactory sense was assaulted by the overwhelming stench of onion bagels. I could not even stay inside because of the unbearable smell. Maybe this doesn't bother people but between the maddening DIN and the smell I had to sit outside and leave the ordering to my mother. The bagels and muffins looked like they came from stop and shop. Actually no, they didn't even look that good. The cheese Danish with cinnamon topping was "eh", the yogurt parfait was nothing special either. The coffee however, was outstanding. Maybe I will go back and get breakfast like eggs or something.. But only if I can sit outside. Ugh.

Got a Chicken cesar wrap , had absolutely no flavor, except for the hamburger that was made right before my wrap was set down to grill.... should not be put right on top of the same spot a greasy burger just was! very disappointed. And the service sucks, repeat your order, forget to charge you, charge you again, only person standing at the counter waiting for to-go and they pretty much threw my bag at me. NEVER a place to sit, and who has 20 mintues to wait for a simple wrap to be made...not me!

I love this spot for lunch. I used to go when I lived nearby, now I stop by occasionally when I pass it on the highway because it's so easily accessible from 128. I love the menu. I've been several times and still haven't tried everything but it all looks so delicious. I've taken several friends here as well and everyone seems to like it. I love that it's healthy and made fresh. It's never been crowded when I've gone- there has always been a place to sit. And there's never been much of a line to place your order either. I think it's a great place for a good sandwich or soup. I would recommend it.

Coffee is Hit or Miss. Location is so loud you can't enjoy yourself, talk with anyone else or even dare to concentrate on work. The door has a bell on it and its constantly being swung open and slamming closed making the whole place shake and the bell go off twice. Loudest Cafe in the area!

This is a follow up to my original review. It appears they read these comments as they no longer answer the phone while you are mid- order. When the lines get long they step out and try to get coffee orders moving. Keep getting better. You are on the right track.

This place had a coupon on LivingSocial so I decided to give it a try. Def. glad that I did! For a place that serves healthy-ish food, it's also very delicious and inexpensive. Usually a place that caters to the more health conscious ends up being dull and over-priced, but that is not the case here. The interior is welcoming and well-kept. Looking forward to another Meat Loaf Sandwich!

The best spot in town for breakfast ,lunch and dinner. A must if you need a coffee fix! The food is fresh and local! Brittany we cant thank you enough! wether it be catered platters for office parties ,scrambling to feed our family in a pinch, or a much needed cup of coffee with my husband all topped off with a quaint atmosphere(love outdoor seating) and convenient location!! Just love it at Daily Harvest!

Let me preface this by saying I have never written a review on anything...ever. This place is amazing. Great quality, fresh food, great service..yah the atmosphere can be busy depending on the time but it's because so many people enjoy this place. I work nearby so I have been here hundreds of times whether it be for a coffee, bakery item, sandwich or a salad. I've never been disappointed. They have exceptional cookies and chocolate croissants. The service is great. quick and friendly. Someone had mentioned a non functioning bathroom. I'm not sure she's talking about the same place. the bathroom is fine. This place is definitely worth a visit.

In fairness, the sandwiches here are delicious -- one of the best veggie burgers I've had out. But I was sooo disappointed by the salad -- $10 for a bowl of baby spinach = insane. Also, parkign is a bit of a nigihtmare aroudn the lunch rush, but that's to be expected.

This place is almost always slammed whenever I come, so you know it's good. Everything tastes so good, because it's natural and not processed! The coffee flavors are yummy (I always get snickerdoodle because I apparently can't handle change, but when I do, I opt for the Reese's latte--yummmmm). I've eaten the chicken caesar wrap, thai peanut wrap, french toast, whoopie pies, cookies, muffins, tex mex wrap, all-American breakfast wrap, and that spinach breakfast wrap (I forget the name...). I'm never disappointed...but I am only when they forget to give me my apple on the side :(

We hired Daily Harvest Cafe to cater a local photo shoot. They were wonderful! We didn't have much time to break for lunch, so they prepared bagged lunches for us (with sandwiches, pickles, chips, apples, and a cookie) that were perfect to grab while on the way to our next location. Amy was very helpful in planning our meals and making sure we had many options for our client. The breakfasts and lunches were delicious, as were the baked goods (the homemade Zucchini Nut Bread was a huge hit on set!). Delivery was prompt and unobtrusive. I would definitely hire them again!!!

I've driven by this place a thousand times, but finally decided to go in the other day with a coworker. I'm glad I did. My food was delicious and very filling. My coworker said it's her new favorite place! I can't wait for the nice weather to hit because they have a very cute outside seating area that I plan to take advantage of. I did have on issue though that was a bit annoying. I ordered a wrap with carrot sticks for the side and I got a pastry. The girl at the register (very friendly btw) put the pastry in a bag which she handed off to the woman making the food so that it would all be bagged together. While the food was being prepared I heard one woman tell another that they were out of carrots (this was not said to me - I just heard them talking to each other behind the counter). When my name was called I was handed a bag with a wrap...no carrot sticks, no apple to substitute, and no pastry (that I paid for). I had to call out to the woman twice and she still ignored me. Another employee came over to help and was quick to apologize, get my pastry and add an apple and pickle to the bag. Two out of the three employees were excellent, as was my food - but that one employee had such an "don't care" attitude that I had to drop a star.

Went once and messed up my meal and my husbands. Figured it was a bad day for them so I gave it one more shot......again big mess up. The food is gross and appears to be 'natural' but not much better quality than a fast food restaurant. For the price you can get real organic. Seems like a place that is trendy for people who buy yoga pants and pretend they are healthy

Went here the other day and ordered two sandwiches. One was the curry chicken salad and one was tomato, apple slices, cheddar, turkey, and honey mustard. Both were delicious as was the cafe-branded raspberry-lime soda (don't think that is all-natural or whatever they like to purport, though). The main reason we went here, and I apologize if it seems to have affected my rating immensely, was because of the "1st tart frozen yogurt on the North Shore" sign. We were going to order some after we ate, but got a sample instead. Man, I was expecting nice and creamy and -tart- Korean-style frozen yogurt but all we got was icy and lumpy and very, very sweet vanilla yogurt that had obviously been bought from a grocer and thrown into an ice cream machine. Yuck times a million. I don't like liars. Especially when it comes to tart frozen yogurt. They're charging more than what PinkBerry or BerryLine or Red Mango are charging and want to give you that pitiful excuse for a frozen dessert? No. Thank you. But I think we'll come back here to try their coffee and tea sometime.

A big thank you to the Yelpers who reviewed the Daily Harvest Cafe! I was looking for a new coffee place and consulted my BlackBerry Yelp app, and this was the first place that came up. I was not disappointed. I love the outside of the restaurant. That waterfall is beautiful. And, I love the fact that they have a nice parking lot. So many places rely on street parking, and when I end up not finding parking I get discouraged and go elsewhere. The woman at the counter was very nice and friendly. The whole atmosphere of the place was friendly. I would love to come for lunch with friends. And, their specials looked scrumptious. I stuck with the coffee, and I have to say it was the best blueberry iced coffee I have ever had. Service was prompt, and the price was great. I will definitely be back! Next time, I need to try their meatloaf sandwich as the ingredients looked delightful. And more iced blueberry coffee. Yum!

Tried this place while looking for something breakfasty and were pleasantly surprised. Prices are fairly reasonable and everything was tasty - my non-breakfast Thai Wrap is one of the best things I've eaten in a long time. My only complaint is that servings are a bit small due to the sides offered. A very small apple is healthy and flavorful, but still leaves you wanting a bit more.

This is my favorite spot in Dancers. Their breakfast is delicious (sandwiches, home fries, eggs) and their soups are just dripping with homemade delightfulness. Their breads and coffee/espresso are very good as well. The staff are friendly and they have reliable WiFi, making this a good place to get a little work done on the go. On warm days you can enjoy their patio.

Wow, what a treasure, discovering the Daily Harvest. We ordered the following for breakfast: a bagel, oatmeal, toast, eggs, potatoes, sausage, pancakes and coffee. Not only did everything taste great, there was lots of specialty in the details. The oatmeal was not instant oatmeal, this was good old fashion simmering whole oatmeal like you had as a kid. The toast comes already buttered, so you don't have to rip apart the toast (like I always do at home) the vegetarian sausage patties are the best I've ever had, I've had many. The coffee was just perfect. The Bagel was again buttered so no fuss and was delicious. The staff was bright, happy and you get the feeling they are excited to be there. You don't see that everyday. Lastly, I'd like to close my review by saying that me and family can be quite picky, we have a short list of places we enjoy going to and we are loyal. The Daily Harvest is now on that list, and soon they will know us quite well as regulars. Looking forward to our next visit !!

The classic American breakfast wrap will fill you all day and it's delicious! The smoothies are fantastic and the people are pretty great. My one complain would be I've never had a latte there that didn't have half of it on the outside of the cup and then ending up all over my car but I guess that's what napkins are for! Daily harvest is definitely my weekend treat to myself. Yum

Cute spot. It was pretty busy when we went so we had to sit at the bar by the windows but we had a full view of the flat screen playing Tom and Jerry. The burger I had was truly delicious, but the apple I got on the side wasn't very flavorful. I was super excited for the fresh brewed iced though. The hubby got the avocado and chicken wrap that he helpfully described as "pretty good." They had some tasty looking yogurt and fruit in the fridge and some decent looking pastries in the case. They also sell ice cream at some windows outside, but it was too cold and rainy for us to try it out. Next time. They also cater and apparently have dinner and brunch specials.

The Daily Harvest Cafe is a gem of a place tucked in between a Walgreens and a CVS. They serve a wide range of tastes and plenty of vegetairian options. They also are happy to accomodate most special requests. Their food is often local, fresh and "all natural" (or that's what their menu says.) The meals I've had there are always yummy. My only two compalints are: Consistency of service. While everyone there seems happy to be there (yay!) food takes a long time to come out and I've had a few "mistakes." greet me. They always offer to fix it, but I usually don't bother b/c of the wait. Side items: I KNOW they're trying to be healthy, but the only two side offerings are baby carrots (in a plastic bag) or a (usually tiny) apple. Sometimes I want just a smidge more than that...

The Harvest Breakfast Sandwich is excellent. I like mine on an everything bagel with sausage. This order was originally intended to duplicate the Sunrise Sandwich I typically order from Bagel Rising/Pavement in Boston, but the Daily Harvest Cafe version ended up being significantly better. If it weren't so far away from Boston, I would eat there constantly. They also have outdoor seating, which is lovely. Though the coffee leaves much to be desired. Minus one star for bad coffee.

A great little breakfast joint right around the corner from the mall and the Marriott Hotel. Daily Harvest seemed like a much better option for breakfast than some of the fast-food joints in this part of Danvers. Really, quite impressed by this place. Service at the counter was organized and prompt. The menu included a number of unique breakfast wrap creations, as well as some more traditional breakfast fare. I tried the Tex-Mex wrap (sausage, rice, salsa, egg). Even without the cheese and sour cream, it was incredibly tasty and filling too. I'm convinced that any breakfast dish that includes both jasmine rice and eggs is a sure winner. They have a great side-patio area with a number of four-person tables and a charming waterfall. On a bright summer day like today, it was very pleasant to be outside. Daily Harvest was good to us - hopefully we'll have an opportunity in the future to sample the lunch items on our next visit to the North Shore.

FANTASTIC. I absolutely love this place-- their breakfast, lunch, coffee/iced coffee and frozen yogurt are all amazing. Literally the BEST breakfast wrap I have ever had = veggie sunrise (with potatoes instead of rice). All lunch salads, sandwiches, burgers and wraps are unique and delicious. Great service, always get your order right, friendly, fast and reasonably priced! VERY IMPRESSED!

Really nice little gem that feels like it belongs in a much bigger city. I go here often when doing my laundry next door. The sandwiches and wraps are very tasty although a little pricey. I guess that's what you pay for such healthy ingredients. For me, it's worth it. You'll leave this place feeling satisfied but not gross like fast food. I especially love the big, garlicky pickle spears they serve. Yum!

Went here for 1st time last weekend. VERY attractive establishment - Danvers needs more places like this. I went with a friend amd we got a sandwich and a wrap. Both were excellent. My chicken caesar wrap might have been the best one i've ever had. Will try new things next time!

Liked this place a lot. The veggie burger was the reason I tried this place! It was pretty good! I'd definitely go back again. Definitely my favorite sandwich shop/coffee joint on the North Shore. I've been here a bunch of times and have not been disappointed by anything I've had. Sandwiches and wraps will run you between $7-$10. Very reasonable considering you get a good amount of food. You'll also be able to choose from a range of bread bases. Try any sandwich- they're all great! Warm drinks are my second favorite thing about Daily Harvest Cafe. I've had the hot chocolate, lattes, and hot caramel apple cider ($3 bucks and change for a small- ok, so a little indulgence here). Mmm, mmm, and mmm! They also have an excellent selection of muffins and other baked goodies! They stay open until 8 every night, so you can stop in after work (my usual).

This kid-friendly cafe is quite busy at lunch time so I would suggest going at another time if possible. I like that they promote all natural/organic foods and give apples or carrots instead of potato chips with their sandwiches. But the prices are high. I got a simpe BLT with maybe ten baby carrots on the side for $6.99. The food was good... but not good enought to warrant the price. I won't be going back.

I haven't had breakfast at the Daily Harvest, but I have stopped for lunch there when out and about. It's so nice to have this cheerful little cafe to pull into after passing the McDonald's and tuning out the siren call of MickeyD fries. It's like a reward for having the willpower to do that. The decor is ecclectic-cafe. There are mix-and-match chairs and tables, and window views of a pretty little garden on the side of the building. If it's not crowded, it's a nice place to relax and read the paper (for us Luddites and old timers) or text your friends while snacking or lunching. Lunch here is about sandwiches and other short-order items. I love the wraps, because the flat, thin bread they are wrapped in is always soft and fresh, the veggies are always crisp and fresh, and the chicken or tuna I prefer for the "protein" part, is always fresh too. I like the Caesar chicken wrap -- tangy dressing in just the right amount, not soggifying and dripping out the ends. Get a bottle of juice to go with it, or iced coffee (we've had a warm autumn). A piece of pastry for dessert, or nibble on the healthy-choice apple they give you with your meal, and it's a filling but not heavy lunch.

My husband and I go to this place whenever we want a fresh bite to eat. Their burgers are really amazing! Honestly. And, their breakfast options are great, too. On the weekends, they also offer additional breakfast, like french toast, on their specials board. I can't speak to the cleanliness of the grill area (it looks pretty clean to me), but the bathrooms and the dining area are always sparkling clean. Their pastries are a bit hit-or-miss. We recently had a turnover there that was fantastic - fresh, tasty, etc. But, then we had a coffee roll (or a cinnamon bun), and it was just okay. It didn't seem like it was a yeasted bread, which is not what I would expect. Other than the pastries, though, you really can't go wrong at Daily Harvest.

My bf and I had breakfast there and driving up to the cafe, I could tell it was going to be homey inside! There is a wood-burning stove in the corner, quaint seats, and just a really comfortable atmosphere. It definitely has a country, Americana feeling to it. The boy got a Tex-Mex breakfast wrap which was good and looked quite filling. He also got the Chicken Pot Pie soup which he said was not as flavorful. My tomato-basil-mozzarella quiche was huge and when heated up, was the perfect breakfast on such a cold November morning! The food takes a little longer to cook than most places, but you can tell that the ingredients are fresh. All of the girls who were at the counter were really smiley and friendly which is always a plus! I can't wait to go back and try some of their pastries, bagels, or coffee/hot chocolate. I know my bf goes here for lunch too as they serve up fresh burgers and sandwiches. This place is definitely a welcome addition to this area and we'll stop by again soon!

When entering the case where all the drinks usually are was almost empty and the soda fountain was out of order. I asked for a cup of water and the water tasted sweetened and lemony with not even ice in it. I hate to think what was left in that cup and hope whomever had it before me did not have a cold, etc. The sandwich I ordered, chicken fajita wrap, was chicken (not warm), sour cream and rice. There was one slice of onion, no peppers, no pico, no fajita stuff basically. While I am usually a fan I have found my last few lunches there are seriously lacking in flavor and flair. I'll hit the sub shop down the street next time, thanks.

Four stars for the food, 2 for the service. The girl that I dealt with was super nice. But they don't have a take-out menu or a great website, and I had e-mailed them, and no one ever returned the email, which I didn't like. Parking lot is tiny. I had the farmers market sandwich, which was good, but I really loved the chicken noodle soup. The M&M cookie was good too, though a little on the big side. I wish they had a soup and 1/2 sandwich option (I didn't notice it if they do...). Love that you can choose between a bag or carrots or an apple with the sandwich. It's really cute & bright inside, and they have a great selection of drinks & baked goods.

We went there when this place first opened and the food we got was not very good, but it was clean and the people seemed courteous. The atmosphere was nice and I like the theme they are going for, however there are several things lacking. The couple of times I went back with coworkers my food was made incorrectly, even after the long wait. Also, the girls that served me these subsequent times were not very friendly. The people seem kind of snobby actually and were rude to myself and several coworkers. I don't understand because I am paying some pretty high prices for a sandwich and an apple. Lastly, the grill/service area seemed pretty dirty as did the easily overlooked areas. I truly wanted this place to work out, that's why I went back several times, but with these experiences I will not be returning. Really disappointed.

I just have to say... I love Yelp! And I'm favorably impressed by the Daily Harvest Cafe... particularly the little outdoor patio. Nice selection of wrap sandwiches (wish there were a few more vegetarian breakfast options- since I LOVE breakfast.) oh, and Free Wifi. Think it's likely I'll be back :).

Great spot to grab breakfast or lunch. They focus on fresh and all natural ingredients. Great wraps and sandwiches, but no french fries here! You get a choice of baby carrots or an apple. (I usually go with "neither".) Try the Classic American breakfast wrap - bacon, egg, cheese, home fries and chives in a tortilla - it's one of my faves. The turkey reuben is also great. They used to have bacon and chive cream cheese for bagels (YES, bacon AND chive CREAM CHEESE), not sure if they still have it because I didn't see it on the menu last time i went, but good lord it is amazing! They also used to make great falafel here, but for some reason it never became a permanent fixture. They do not offer full table service - you order at the counter and then they will bring your order to your table.

The Daily Harvest is a great alternative to the other choices in town. What makes them different is that they actually make the food fresh in front of you. The coffee is great with many choices but the service and skill with making the espresso drinks can be very hit or miss. It is they know how to make a drink or they don't. The prices are high but everything here is real and fresh. Overall not a bad place but service is very inconsistent .

I've been to this place 6 or 7 times now, and it's been a steadily declining experience from the first visit. I keep giving it another try because it seems to be the only "healthy" option in the area. I initially liked that they offered carrots or apple instead of bread, but the carrots are dry little prepackaged things and today I got an apple (the size of a lime) that I literally put my finger right through when I picked it up- rotten. Additionally, their "foccacia" is dry, wraps are tiny, and any spinach I've had in wrap or salad has had that slightly gone-by taste. Bathroom isn't as clean as it should be for an eating establishment, and even the service was wildly off today (messing up several orders) even though there were at least six people behind the counter. Apparently, this used to be a good place; I wish it would return to that 4-5 star level.

FYI- they now have take-out menus Went to Daily Harvest for lunch with a coworker today, what a great place! I had the Brittany Special wrap (grilled chicken, applewood smoked bacon, melted muenster cheese, red onion, tomato, & romaine with creamy ranch) and it was delicious. The dressing was perfect, creamy and not too heavy. I had a hard time deciding what chips to get to go with it, as they have a million choices, but I tried New York cheddar and herb Kettle Chips and they were awesome. I loved the service, they actually bring your food to your table with is pretty unusual in a cafe. They also use real dishes and glasses. The atmosphere was great, all different kinds of tables. They had a flat screen playing Food Network that was on mute with closed captioning so it wasn't obnoxious. I also saw on the way out that there was a little flat screen playing a kids movie that had headphones hooked up to it, something I've never seen in a sandwich. I absolutely loved this place and can't wait to try it again!

Best burger on the North Shore, end of story! A much better alternative to Panera or fast food! Sandwiches are very fresh and delicious but the burgers steal the show. They have a cute patio in the spring/summer months and adorable decor inside. Kids meals are offered and the prices are acceptable for the quality offered. If you want a fresh off the grill high quality burger, this place is a must try!!

Since I live down the street, the boyfriend and I decided to wander down to this joint for a little lunch. It is a cute little place. Great colors and decor, although a bit small. We ordered a Greek salad and the Farmer's Market sandwich to split. The food took a bit of time to come out, but I suppose that is to be expected when you're not in a fast food chain. However, it was worth the wait. The sandwich was served on thick focaccia and had brie, hummus, taboule, tomato and lettuce in it. It was fantastic. The salad was tasty and came with a stuffed grape leaf. Both the sandwich and the salad came with a choice of sides (apple, carrot sticks, bread). To drink we split an organic iced tea from the refrigerator case. It was white tea pomegranate and very delightful as well. While we were waiting for our food we saw two delicious looking burgers coming out to the table next to ours. I plan on trying those ASAP. This place also had breakfast (which I need to try) and outdoor seating next to a little fountain. Besides the wait, I'd say this place is worth the trip for a quaint little lunch in downtown Danvers. Oh yeah, and the prices were reasonable too.

Sorry guys, I really wanted to like this place. I have been at least 5 times.. each time it seems like the experience gets worse.. and worse. Like, how do they not have ANY muffins made yet on a sunday morning at 9am?! Or how do they constantly run out of american cheese for sandwiches.. ? or white wraps and bread.. at 10am.. already out of something so basic?! I do love the fact they are kid friendly there with toys for the tots to keep their mind off the fact that their food takes 15 mins to prepare.. i mean.. com'on.. 15 mins for 2 kids meals!? I might try this place again.. if i am desperate.

This is a new cafe which opened up just recently between Walgreen's and Dunkin Donuts on High Street in Danvers. They have plenty of parking, and they are opened daily from 6 AM to 8 or 10 PM. The ambiance is cozy and relaxing. The owner and her staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food is diverse and delicious. They have homemade bagels, muffins, coffee cakes, pastries, donuts among other things made by the owner's Dad. They have hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, salads, soups, etc. They will also be making their own ice cream. They have flat screen TVs showing Food Channel, CNN and what have you. They have a kids' table and a TV with headphones for them. What more can I say? Just go and check it out for yourselves. Danvers is so lucky to have them!

I used the catering service at the Daily Harvest this past weekend and it was excellent. I called on Friday for an order I needed to pick up on Sunday morning (it was for 15 ppl). My order was ready right on time and the sandwhiches were amazing. I selected the signiture sandwhich option - my favorite was the Curry Chicken Salad. Out of this world! The order also came with wraps - everything was delicious. They even called me when I was running 15 min late to tell me it was ready, and brought the order out to the car for me when I arrived. Great service!

The girl that worked there offered my dog a bowl of water which goes a long way with me. Very cute place over all. Nice outdoor seating area and a county theme inside. Pretty clean place too!

I love it here! They have great homemade soups and coffees. The girls behind the desk could be a little friendlier but the food is great.

I have to like...suck from the bottom with the straw and regulate how much sugar i suck in with each sip...you're not Dunkin Donuts, your coffee is legit - get some simple syrup involved so the sweetness blends in.

limited parking, slow service. overpriced. diners tend to linger so seating is limited. tables can't get cleaned fast enough before the next diner takes over. waited in line to order egg sandwich which was just ordinary, no hashbrowns with that. i can get the same thing at mcdonald's. tried it again, waited in line 15 min, didn't even move an inch. i left. i won't be back.

I have been coming here for about a year now (off-and-on). The baked goods, breakfast wraps (highly recommend: Ham & Cheese Please), and the deliciously strong coffee are some of the best I've ever tried! Bonus that they use all fresh ingredients. Must come here more often.

Indoor seating is cozy in the winter, with a in-the-wall gas fire place to keep you warm on a cold New England day.

update- love their coffee but it can be hit or miss depending on the ratio of cream to sugar they use.

Daily Harvest is a great place to go for breakfast or lunch. My entire office loves the food. The ingredients are top quality and the sandwich/wrap combinations are excellent. The staff are the best too, thank you Rita and Abbie.

The vegetarian wrap was really delicious - spinach, sundried tomato, jasmine rice, and I added egg for a breakfast version.

Yum
