I'm in love with this place. My husband and I found Long Dell Inn while making hasty plans for a vacation, and had no idea what we would do when we got to Cape Cod. Marc and Donna, the wonderfully kind and hospitable owners, and their employee Jillian, helped us plan out our days, and recommended great places to eat and sights to see. We feel like we packed so much into six day, thanks to each of them. More on the Inn....the rooms are warm and inviting, each with a distinct personality that reflects Donna's flair for colors and accessories. Our room, Tradewinds, was filled with soft, beachy colors and bright accents. Common areas like the living room and dining room are nice places to gather and chat with other guests, sharing details of the previous day's adventures and upcoming plans. Coffee, tea, water, soda, and snacks are always available. Now let's get to the really good part. Breakfast. My favorite meal of the day, and Marc does a solid job of preparing a delicious, fresh, and generous entree, a baked item, and a fruit salad daily. I have seen others' reviews of the lemon ricotta pancakes, and yes, they are that good. As were the peach baked French toast, the southern scramble, and the eggs benedict. My husband's many food allergies, which are a challenge to those of us who feed him, didn't trip Marc up at all. He asked a lot of questions to make sure the food he prepared was safe. I can't emphasize enough how much we appreciated this. Breakfast kept us full until dinnertime most days, freeing us up for more beach time and excursions. I'm sure there are other nice inns on the Cape, but as long as we have the option to stay at the Long Dell Inn, that is where we will continue to go. We felt like we were staying at the home of friends who wanted us to have the best first experience on the Cape that we could have, and we most certainly did. We can't wait to go back.

We recently traveled to Cape Cod Massachusetts for a quick weekend getaway. While in our searches for a place to stay at we came across this wonderful bed and breakfast called the "Long Dell Inn". The price seemed reasonable and the online reviews were great. Upon arriving at the Long Dell Inn, we immediately noticed how clean and appealing the grounds were, where they had a quiet oasis tucked away just to the side of the house with a serene flowing waterfall emptying into a koi pond. As we were greeted at the door by Marc, one of the owners, he guided us into the house to show us around. One of the things you will notice as soon as you step into the house is how bright, clean and inviting it makes you feel, with lots of sunlight beaming in through the windows and great summer colors matching the decor. Marc was very pleasant and helpful in providing us with all the amenities offered within the house and with suggestions for exploring the Cape Cod area. After being shown to our room, Room #2 (called Tradewinds), we noticed that it was clean and quaint and had a nice size bathroom. One of the things that we connected with in conversation with Marc is that we all were foodies. We all shared the same passion for good food and we felt that we were in good hands with Marc preparing the food for breakfast at the Long Dell Inn. Marc was very detailed and thorough with his daily menu selections and was able to cater to our food allergies without hesitation. Each morning we were pleasantly greeted by Marc and staff and the food was amazing! One of our biggest concerns with bed and breakfast stays is that the food options are limited and we usually end up going out to eat after leaving in the morning, but in this case, we were able to fully indulge and enjoy our satiating morning meals. We also enjoyed conversing with Marc in the morning as he always seemed cheerful and interested in how we were enjoying our stay and what new adventures we had planned on the horizon. Staying at the Long Dell Inn really made our Cape Cod visiting experience one that we would never forget. Both Marc and Donna were absolutely gracious hosts and it was a pleasure meeting them both. We will definitely choose Long Dell Inn for any of our future Cape Cod endeavors and we absolutely recommend this B&B!

My husband and I had attended a wedding in Newport, Rhode Island. We wanted to stay one night in the Cape as we were going to meet some friends in Hyannis Port and we didn't know where to stay. As we were driving on Main St. the Long Dell Inn caught our attention. We stopped to inquire if they had rooms available and we were greeted by lovely Donna. She and her husband Marc are the owners. We were offered The Nest, a room behind the main house with a king bed and a single bed. The room was great, it was extremely clean, cozy, it had a refrigerator and a microwave. The bathroom is brand new with all new fixtures. There is a view of the patio (room is in the second floor). Marc is a "foodie" and a great chef. He gave us suggestions of restaurants to have dinner that night. The following morning Marc and Donna surprised us with a gourmet breakfast. First thing a great cup of coffee, then came a cup of fruit and a dollop of vanilla ice cream. Then a mini muffin prepared by Donna (she does this every morning) then Marc came out of the kitchen to ask all the guests how did we want our omelette "would we eat cheese with truffle oil or do we want a different cheese?" We felt as if we were in a 5 star restaurant in a private home. This was an unexpected incredible experience. The Inn is beautifully appointed. Is a gem in the middle of the Cape. We are great-full to both Donna and Marc for contributing to an unbelievable vacation. When we returned to our hometown in California we were telling our friends and relatives about the Inn and Marc and Donna. We will definitely go back and probably stay for a week. Two thumbs up to Donna and Marc. Great job

This is probably the best B&B we have ever stayed at with wonderful hospitality. We had an existing reservation and called ahead to see if we could check in a day early. Marc and Donna were able to fit us in and our room was lovely. The Long Dell Inn is immaculate and has outstanding grounds to relax. The best thing of all is Marc's homemade breakfasts and coffee cakes. My favorite was the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with real maple syrup. Wonderful. We hope to return to the cape next year and Long Dell Inn will be our place of choice. Best wishes to Marc and Donna. They are wonderful people who treat their guests like royalty. Outstanding in every way.

Our recent stay at The Long Dell Inn was topnotch. We stayed just one night. Next time would book two to have more time to enjoy all that the inn and the area has to offer. The owners, Donna and Marc are kind, friendly, and hospitable. They have filled every inch of the inn with comfort and pleasant detail. The breakfast was scrumptious. If one wants to spend some time in Centerville and Osterville, be a short drive to Hyannis, and be able to walk to Craigville Beach- at any time of year, the Long Dell Inn is highly recommended by my husband and me.
